    • Sugarboobear

I think this might be the 3rd week in a row I don’t bother with getting a paper.  :(

      • Jenn

        me too!

        • Kgator71

          I quit last month

    • Jamesbntn

i’m pis sed thanks to the reilly shows the manufactuer are getting tough. we  all had a good time until these shows and the shelf clearers showed thier as ses. sorry but i’m mad

      • Lori

I totally agree with you. On Monday I went to five different Walgreens in my Orlando area trying to find the Tylenol precise that they have on sale this week. My husband uses this on a regular basis. Every shelf was wiped clean and the sale just started Sunday. So Aggravating!!!

        • adrian

price match at walmart. no tax in orlando,so free

          • Lori

Yeah tried that today at the Walmart near my house and the manager told me I could not do both. So if they priced match I was told I could not use my coupon. Every time I go there I have problems.

            • casey

Print off both their coupon and ad-match policy. I know what you mean about pain in the &sses, cause I have called corporate (1-800-walmart) more than 6 times in the past 4 months!! Coupons are like money, and I dont think that the “waltons” would like hearing that a manager turned down money! :)

            • Wrafb_martns

I always have coupon trouble at walmart . last night told me i could only use one printed coupon.  Wouldn’t take any other printed coupons and that was after I waited for the cashier to look it up in a book. this took awhile. I don’t understand there are signs in that store that they take coupons!!!! I made them take off all the items and i told them i could go to kroger and publix and they would take them without any problems. There has to be a way they could tell if the Q’s are legit. Why do all the honest people suffer for people who cheat and abuse the system?

            • Noneya

when you print coupons there is usually a pin number that’ll be different from your second print coupon

        • Missyba

I had a pretty similiar experience in my Wal-mart…What is up with that??? I think they should take down every sign that says they “accept coupons” because when you hand them your coupons they treat you like you are stealing something.

        • Lalinda178

I understand you I went around my area in kennesaw, acworth went to several walgreens and was so mad to say could not even use my coupons for the precise product and for the got2b products , I feel that sometimes as a couponer you have to remember their are other people who need these products. Do not wipe out the entire inventory.

      • ks

I think you are so right! I’ve noticed the coupons getting worth less and also stores are getting tougher about coupon policies.  Just the other day they told me at Petsmart that someone came in earlier the day before and used over $200 in counterfeit coupons that no one caught until after the fact.  These people ruin it for us honest couponers!

        • How can someone use $200 in cc’s without someone noticing? That is so sad…:(

    • ChristineS

Havent bought a paper for the coupons the entire the month of February.  :(

    • tracy

Me too. The coupon values are getting lower and the cost of my Sunday paper doubled!! If I need one, its usually on line anyway.

    • greenyclt

Whoo!  Might have to buy more than one paper!!!  I haven’t bought one in the last few weeks!!!

    • 61sparrow

our local state paper started charging $3.00 per sunday paper for football season due to extra inserts.  Football has been over for two weeks yet they still charge the $3.00.  This past weekend I tried to match up coupons and  became frustrated in over half of what i needed was not even in the inserts.  Maybe I should cancel my subscription and just order from dede.  At least I will get what I pay for .

      • jbatch

Do you have a dollar tree near you? They sell the Sunday paper for just a dollar. Doesn’t seem like too bad of a risk when you are only laying down a buck. I usually stop by on the way home from church, but if you don’t go fairly early, they will be sold out on a good coupon week.

        • Tthompsonjob

Thanks for that suggestion. I will be calling our store.

        • I’ve checked several dollar stores by me (Greenville, SC) and they have all stopped carrying the paper. :(

      • Sarah

So far I’m glad I live in an area that only charges $1.00 to have the Sunday paper delivered to my house with inserts always in it. I subscribe to two papers. The one normally charges $2 per Sunday paper, but a quick phone call to them and sticking to my guns, I told them I’m not paying more than $1 or I’m unsubscribing. They let me subscribe for $1 which is always what their introductory rate is for new subscribers for 13 weeks.

    • Kim

I have launched a new clipping service site at thecouponshipper dot com.  I’m having this Sunday’s paper and this past set of inserts on sale for 99 cents each, with reg priority mail shipping for $5.25.  This would be a great way for people to get some cheap inserts and try out my service.  If you like it maybe you will consider signing up for a subscription!

      • Khjbcoupons

sounded great until i saw the 5.25 for shipping.. if i purchase 4 that means i will be paying 9.25ih.. i found a lady that sells the ajc out of her truck on saturaday and sunday in kennesaw ga for 1.50 each.. 4 will cost me 6.00.. a savings of 3.25 from you.. wish you could decrease the shipping.. sounded like a great deal at first

        • Annodal24

There is also one in Acworth in front of Stapes in between Kohls and Krogers :)

        • Lalinda178

where if I may ask I live around kennesaw can you please give me the info will be a great money saver

        • Kim

My service isn’t for everyone, agreed.  But what you pay me for is to go and get the coupons for you, pull them from the paper, and then ship them to your house.  That means no running around town to find the papers and no arriving home with papers that don’t have coupons.  I’m actually “selling” these papers for free to help people try out my service.  The service of shipping.  :)  Unfortunately I can’t control what the USPS charges. $5.25 covers priority mail shipping, the cost of my tape and paper, and gives me a penny or two to pay for gas.

If you live in Atlanta or another large city where you can obtain good coupons this wouldn’t be a good deal for you and I would encourage you, as a savvy shopper, to get the best deal possible.  As my grandfather used to say to potential customers, “If you can find a better deal you’d better take it!!”

That being said, if you live in Atlanta you can often find street hawkers selling the Sunday paper on Saturdays and Sundays at high traffic off ramps around the city, especially Gwinnett and Dekalb Co.  These young folks could really use your support and I encourage you to take advantage of their $1.50 price tag.  They work hard in rain or shine every weekend, coupons or not.  If you don’t know where to find one of these $1.50 vendors email me and I’ll help you locate one in your area as best I can.

        • Papurvis

          Where bouts in Kennesaw?

      • Raychl

I too thought it sounded financially advantgeous but the ‘shipping’ costs defeat the savings.

    • Ben

Another bad batch of coupons…I think I will sit this one out and wait by my computer for the scraps that coupons dot com spits out at us.

Also, thank you to that stupid show showing the whole world how to coupon.  You have let the world know how to get 1000 tubs of toothpaste at the expensive of everyone else.  Now it is harder to get a good deal without scouring the internet for hours.  Thanks again reality tv!

      • JenS

Couponing does take work. Quite a few of the people that got started with me (admittedly because of the show) have dropped it completely. Too time consuming they say. I hope the fad will pass and those who are really in it to save money (not just pile on the free floss) will be left with a better playing field.

      • Bkindcouponing

I shop for 2 houses, sometimes 3 and friends. I never by cases of anything except Propel when it’s 49¢ because my son runs track and my dad is ill (Kroger always has huge displays too.) And last night I saw 2 women going through the store lost and grabbing all the Lloyd’s bbq, like 20 rolls of foil and enough pop corn for a movie theater. I wanted to ask but thought better of it since I figured they might think I did the same since I had my binder and some buy 10 say $3 and get a $2 coupon. I really don’t get it. I have my supply but I give away out of it. And I don’t have 20 boxes of popcorn or foil.

    • Curtanderson13

can someone please tell me when the  $5.00 tylenol precise coupon was in the paper—what date–thanks for your help

      • Jordynsmommy

last Sunday in Red Plum, although not in all of the papers.  We have 2 papers available in my town and it was only in one. But, it expires this weekend, I think the 26th… hth

        • Curtanderson13

Guess I won’t be buying AGAIN :( Only 2 or 3 I see I really want and I try not to buy Pepsi products, and with them raising my paper price just isn’t worth it anymore :(  Been using a lot more printable coupons lately……my stockpiles are running low :( Haven’t run out of anything yet though I seem to still be able to keep a couple of everything

      • nubetocouponworld

If I may ask,why don’t you buy Pepsi products?

        • Annodal24

well to make a long story short
Pepsi is funding the research and development, and paying royalties to Senomyx, which uses HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney cells) to produce flavor enhancers for Pepsi beverages.

          • Law3816

do they use them in pepsi products now? or is this just research at this point. .  where can i get more info?

            • Annodal24

am I allowed to post a link? I wasn’t sure? I believe with everything I’ve read on it they are currently in research right now for future Pepsi products. I know other companies such as Campbells has used the same type of research and has stopped after complaints, but Pepsi says they won’t. They don’t use them in the actual products, the company Pepsi pays (Senomyx) which use them in research when producing flavor enhancers, something about them I guess helps them figure out which ones we will react to in a positive way. I’ve also found out that vaccines contain them too, not the kidney part something else, or at least the original batch they produced were.

          • guest

I am interested in finding out more info about this as well.

          • Tim

But embyronic baby kidneys make it TASTE GOOD!

            Seriously?!

      • Tara

I have found that buying inserts from a blog & paying shipping is cheaper for me.

        • June Barnes56

          where? what site please?

    • Qponmommaof1

A lot of people blame the show for all of the couponer.  While I believe the show was part of the issue, you must admit that in this economy many people HAVE to coupon to feed their family.  Especially with the price of groceries going up every second. So, just because you’ve been doing it for a while doesn’t mean you need to hate the new comers.  We’re just trying to do what’s best for our families, too.

      • Annodal24

I agree :) That is probably why the show became so extra popular

      • jennie

i agree! im a marine wife and military doesnt make a whole lot so we crunch where we can and couponing is one of the best ways for us to do so. i can now feed our small family for half the amount i was feeding us for including the toilettries purchases we used to put off until last minute. people need to stop bashing couponers, it just takes some people a bit longer to realize the amount you can save and some people still the the way they save in the tv show is reality when it truly isnt.

    • Mechlingfamily

Dont’t worry, just like the secondary Beanie Baby market, all things come to an end. With such an over saturated secondary market for the freebie coupon finds, I’m sure these sellers have had to lower their prices tremendously at their flea markets just to move their product. Eventually the selling prices will be so low that it no longer will be worth their time and effort, and they’ll move on to some other thing.

    • wendyc33

Lots of complaining on here about the coupons, but the pepsico coupons are good, and when do we get such rare coupons like those. I for one am happy for the change. I think also there is more food coupons in these inserts compared to the past ones. So thats positive. To much unhappiness and ungratefullness in this world.

    • I’ve been using FB, coupons.com, in store coupon books and BOGO promos lately… no newspapers since December… just not worth the price, particularly once Walgreens upped the cost. And Walgreens has yet to realize that they lost my foot traffic as well, since I usually grabbed a few things I needed during that trip. Oh well…

    • Sasha

Thanks for the heads up, I like to know so I can get my order ready to order my coupons from ourcouponclippingservice.com all the HOT coupons g so fast!

    • Angel

Does anyone have any of the high value Purina One Beyond Dry Dog Food coupons from a couple weeks ago? I wasn’t able to get any copies that week. : (

      • Christine

I had a bunch that I gave away at my coupon swap, I will see if I can get you some. We meet this Thursday. :)

      • Brooke

        I think they expired.

      • Shelly

They expired over almost two weeks ago.  Sorry.

      • Csaepha

Is it the 2.50 off coupon in last week insert, I have five not using it.

        • Csaepha

sorry wrong one last week was 2.50 off any purina or beneful

    • Tlwoodbury

The candy,  the Pantene, and the tropicana (so long as it’s not for tropicana50) are good, but not good enough to go out and buy an extra paper.

    • Newhobby_76

Will there not be the P&G this Sunday 2/26?

      • Darlene

        no March 4, P&G.com

    • Darlene

      P&G March 4

    • Amanda

Looking forward to getting my hands on some good coupons this week. :) Thanks for keeping us informed. :)

    • Kerri

Does anyone know why I haven’t seen ANY Carolina Pride coupons in MONTHS?  I used those more than any other coupon, but haven’t seen any ….

      • Vetta

I have been looking for those as well and haven’t seen any. I even went to their website just to see if they had any posted there and couldn’t find any. I think I am just going to email them and inquire about this because I use to see them just about in every sunday paper last year.

    • Christie

My Greenville SC paper didn’t even get Half of those…

      • ariel

         Mine either.
        No Aveeno… SAD

      • Michelledalton36

      • Jesselinn123

         Neither did Greenwood

      • I’m getting really frustrated with Greenville… I don’t understand why there’s a difference in coupons. Oh well, the Cuties coupon is good. :)

    • Tamara

FWIW… the Athens Banner Herald has a RP insert in it today, and just glancing at it when I was sitting in my driveway before coming into the house, it looked ok… Pedigree dog food products and Whiskas cat food (both items are in Bi-Lo’s extra fuel perks this week!!) BC/Goody, poptart, ceasar’s, brawny, some kind of Perdue chicken, and several brands vitamin supplements. I was just suprised to see this insert (but happy about it!) in this paper this morning…

    • Jamie

I picked up my Atlanta Journal this morning out of my driveway and only found the Pepsico insert.  No SS!  Not sure if I am the only one.  I may have to buy a paper at the store to double check.  Anyone else in the Atlanta area have the issue?

      • Jamie

I did go and get a paper at publix….thankfully it was 2 for the price of one and I was able to get the SS.

    • Rxdawg04

I did have the problem with my Atlanta Delivery! I had to go buy some from a street hawker to get my SS

      • Jamie

I went onto the AJC website and requested another paper as it was “incomplete”.

    • Amy

My Florida Times Union in Jacksonville did not have any coupons in today’s paper.

Anyone subscribe to Charlotte O?  This is the second week that I have not gotten coupons in my papers!!!  I order 4 and they only have the Pepsico insert.  2 weeks ago only the SS was in it.  I am starting to get upset!  I order them specifically for coupons!!!

I went to 3 different newspaper machines and none of them had the Pepsico insert, but my friend in one town over about 8 miles had the inserts. How should I go about reporting this?
