artscow

ArtsCow is offering 8 free Hardcover Photo Books. 6 of the books are 20 pages long, while the last two are 40 pages.  You do have to pay shipping, which comes out around $7 a book, but ultimately that’s still a great deal.

Make sure to enter the coupon code, 8FREEBKS, at checkout.  While you are looking around, make sure to check out all the other ArtsCow deals. This code expires 7/04,  so don’t dilly-dally.

If you are a new ArtsCow user you’ll also get 1200 free prints, 100 per month for 12 months!

(thanks Couponing to Disney!)

Wow wow wow to the 1200 prints, I cant wait

    • Jess

anyone know if this is a general coupon? I'm asking because I once tried a coupon with shutterfly for free hardcover photo books and it turns out that each coupon code offer is linked directly with whoever's account they offered it to. So, my friend got it, but I couldn't…which I didn't know until I had spent all the time making the book and found out at checkout!

      • This is general they are offering on their facebook page right now :)

        • Jess

          Awesome! Thanks!

        • GA Girl

Does that mean that only Facebook members can this deal?

          • Kaminer317

no, you can just go to their website and enter the code, you don't have to go through facebook.

    • LL

is it only for a certain size book?

      • Bblawsonuk

        The books are 8 x 8.

    • Lisa

Which size book? Can't tell from the offer and the website doesn't mention it.

    • Kaminer317

      that is awesome! TFS

    • Charboy43

$56.00 for 8 books? I don't think thats a good deal at all.. MHO

      • Lisa

Compared to what they usually cost this seems like a good deal to me, but depends on which books it is, which I can't get an answer to.

      • Kaminer317

the same exact book (hardbound with 20 pages) at shutterfly is 29.99 plus shipping. that 239.92 plus shipping. compared to this offer of $56? well, i think it's a great deal!

Just so everyone knows, ArtsCow is out of Hong Kong so the orders take awhile to ship. And most banks will charge a foreign transaction fee (usually a few dollars) so add that to your cost. Also, they are not as good of quality as books from Shutterfly or Snapfish. I've ordered books from all three and ArtsCow is definitely the best deal when they give you free 8×8 books and you only pay the $7 shipping plus fee. However, just know the quality isn't the best. Also their photo book designer is not user-friendly at all. It's hard to use and takes time to figure out. Be prepared to spend some time working on your book in order to get a good design… all that to say, I would still order from them.

You usually have 30 days to order after you validate your code. I usually wait until the day before the code expires (so 7/3 for this deal), validate my code and then I'll have 30 days from the 3rd to order the books. That gives you the most time.

      Hope that helps:)

That's a really good idea. I want to get my pregnancy photos – and notes to the baby I've been writing – printed up in a book, but she's not due till July 10. Good to know the code has a 30-day window for use. :) Going to follow your advice.

Thanks for all of this information! Is the shipping $7/book or $7/order? Like if I ordered all 8 books at once, would it only be $7? And do you know about the shipping for the 1200 free prints (100/month)?
        Thanks!!!!!

    • Olbupp

Not interested right now…but, the price is great! I ordered 1 book – 20 pages from Snapfish about 1 1/2 months ago (of course, missing any specials!) and paid about $25.00 with shipping – ONE book! The book was awesome and a huge hit with my nephews – it was a Flat Stanley Adventure – and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The bound books are a real way to impress someone! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Does anyone know how much the S&H is on the 100 prints per month? Or about how much the international purchase fees usually are (supposing u get charged if you put in your credit card info)? …attempting to calculate the price of the 100 free prints per month.

    • Jaima26

I googled “Artscow free shipping codes” and a few links popped up. I do that for everything I order online now and I haven't paid for shipping on anything since I figured that out. I am not going to order these but I just felt like sharing :)

    • Cameronsmom

Just wanted to let you all know that I have ordered from them in the past and I think their quality is great! I have had great results and have ordered several books. Keep in mind, they are out of Hong Kong, so shipping is a little longer than normal, but they are worth it! I think this is a great deal! Also, if you order from them, they will constantly send you special deals!

    • Does it have to be multiple copies of the same book or can they be different?

      • Grether

        They can be different.

    • SouthernBelleDM

      The size of the book is 8 X 8, (6) – 20 pages and (2) – 40 pages.
Log in the the Credit & Discount page to validate the coupon code. You have 30 days after requesting the credit to make the purchase. Looks like a great deal. Just need to get my pictures together.
