Open-Faced Apple Sandwiches
- 1 apple, cored and sliced horizontally (if you don't have a corer, simply slice the apples and then use a paring knife to cut the core out)
- lemon juice (optional)
- toppings of your choice: peanut butter, Nutella, granola, chocolate chips, candies, crushed cookies, etc.
- You can brush the apple slices with lemon juice to prevent them from turning brown (if you won't be eating them right away).
- Spread peanut butter or Nutella evenly on each slice (or whatever spread you'd like to use) and then sprinkle with your favorite toppings.
