Wow, when I looked this up, it had only posted 10 minutes ago and all the prices are pretty much the regular price. Star Wars is $45, Star Wars Rancor is $58, Fire is coming up $90, helicopter is $48 – is there a code or something I’m missing? Would the prices really go back to regular priced in 10 minutes?

I know. Just looked at the fire station and it was $99.99.

I was wondering the same thing. I looked on Amazon a few minutes after this info was posted and could not find the deals either.

Darn, no luck here either. Been watching for Legos all day!

I’ve found it almost impossible to grab Legos from the Amazon lightening deals. I click “add to cart” the second it goes live and I’m already 500+ on the waiting list. My best bet has been to go out to Walmart the day after Christmas the past 3 years. The Lego sets are always 50% off (beating the lowest of Amazon prices, but you do have to pay tax) and no one seems in a hurry to grab them. I give them for gifts and save the sets I know my children will want for upcoming b’days/Christmas. Last year, they even had those Lego head sorters for $17!

Thanks for this tip – I am going to try it this year,

consider checking out camelcamelcamel .com. You can track amazon prices and they send an email alert when a price drops below a certain amount. I use it and run out to target to price match (that way I don’t have to worry about return issues or getting up to $35 for free shipping AND I get 5% more off for using a red card
AND target will allow you to pair with store coupons).
I got the rancor pit lego set for $39.99 -$5 target store coupon – $1.75 red card discount for total of $33.24 last week using this method.

Thank you for the advice. I plan to try it out! What does Target need to price match Amazon since Amazon is an on-line site? What would I need to have in hand when I ask them to match Amazon’s price?
