There are great sales this week on items perfect for celebrating St. Patricks Day in traditional style!  It’s pretty much the only time of the year you’ll find Corned Beef on sale, so you should be traditional and just do it!

Tip: Click the ingredients to see where they are on sale and them to a shopping list.

Here are some of our favorite St. Patrick’s Day Recipes:

Guiness Pot Roast – Slowcooker

Large Ingredients Needed:
Beef Chuck Roast
Guinness Beer (another item that is only on sale this week)
Potatoes, Carrots, Onions

Guiness Stew

We made this last week and it’s amazing!
The ingredients below may look a little similar but it doesn’t end up tasting like a pot roast.

Large Ingredients Needed:
Beef Chuck Roast
Guinness Beer (another item that is only on sale this week)
PotatoesCarrots, Onions

Colcannon

This is hard to describe, but it tastes great.  It’s what I envision as being Irish comfort food.

Bacon or Ham
Cabbage (the cheapest price we see all year)
Potatoes
Scallions  (never on sale, just do it!)

30 Minute Shepherd’s Pie

This is my go-to Shepherd’s Pie Recipe.  It’s super easy and delicious.  I always double the recipe and freeze one for another night.

Ground Beef
Potatoes
Mixed Vegetables (go canned or frozen)
