Here are all the deals in the Bi-Lo ad starting 8/17.  I’m loving competitor coupons this week, but as always make sure you find out who your store views as a competitor.  If you don’t have a whole foods for 50 miles then odds are they aren’t going to take the coupon…

If you see any other deals or coupons leave a comment below.

I didn’t realize they’d take the Family Dollar store q’s.  (smacks forehead!!)  Thanks gang

    • Fritodills

I’m very new to couponing so I’m not sure if I’m getting this right, but the printable Luvs coupon ($1 off) that you have to register for is not a printable. The website said it will be snail-mailed in 6-8 weeks. Is that how everyone else is understanding this?  Thanks!

      • Squirrellyec

That appears to be correct.  You could still go ahead and register for the coupon for a future purchase.  If they are out of what you need you can grab a raincheck and wait until your coupon comes in to use it.

    • Frannycwc2002

called our bilo in newton nc last week and talked to the manger they accept all competiors no matter what she said

      • Squirrellyec

Mine accepts all competitors now as well.  Although, I don't see that lasting forever.

      • Meka97

I laughed at the cashier at my Bi-Lo this week. He had the nerve to tell me that his manager told him to only take a competitor's coupon if it scans……lol. If he was a couponer he would know that, that makes absolutely no sense…..lol.

        • Dheartzsoul

you can’t blame the cashier for any kind of incorrect info the manager gives out. i have had cashiers @ wal-mart tell me that they can only accept q’s if it’s what is pictured on the q. now who’s fault is that? and as a matter of fact, just last week a  cashier @ walmart told me the same thing about the not scanning deal!!  it’s all in the training!!

          • swirlypop

I also had a cashier tell me her manager said to only accept a q if it’s what is pictured.  When I asked to speak to the manager she backed down and accepted the q.  Unfortunately, some cashiers just give you a hard time.

That’s funny, same thing happened to me. I had the whole market coupon for vitamin water (30 of them)…first she makes a comment under her breath “who needs this much vitamin water” I told her that my husband works in 112 degree heat everyday and vitamin water is a big factor to prevent a heat stroke…THEN she calls a manager when they didn’t scan and was arguing with manager as she was manually putting them in, telling her “I don’t got time for this non sense” I stayed cool and collective lets just say, and I have yet to see this clerk back thank god!

Your response shouldn’t be to laugh at your cashier. That is just giving couponers a bad name as rude people. The cashier is just doing what they were told; it’s not their fault. Maybe this is part of the reason so many people come on here to complain about their cashiers giving them a hard time when they see that they have coupons. Maybe it’s because the previous people the cashier had to deal with were difficult, rude, and not understanding people that laughed at them when they were just relaying information given to them by their managers.

      • Trindale85

Really? They told me it had to be within 5 miles. They did still take my target coupon even though technically target is 5.33 miles away. I don’t think they will take a $10/50 or $5/25 coupon for another store though.

    • Jacki

Era coupon for .50 off expires 8/31/11 was in paper (not sure what week). Dbls at most Bi-Lo's makes a pretty good sale!

      • Tts829

        RP 7/10
        Thanks Jacki

    • Arana

My Bilo (Union, SC)  will only take competitor coupon if they are within 25 miles. Not good…since we only have Food Lion and Bilo in this town.

      • Cezen

Remember that they will also take Dollar General, and Family Dollar type store coupons too.  Do you have any dollar generals etc around?

      • Squirrellyec

food lion has printable coupons each week as well.  Just sign up on their website to receive emails or Jenny lists them each week.

    • Guest

I went to the bilo in Newton and tried to use the whole foods market q on vitamin water and they said i could use it this once but not anymore that competitors were within 5 mile radius….i dont know…

      • Trindale85

They told me this, too. Although 5 miles cuts just about everything in Hickory out. :-(

    • Frances

Carolina Pride Ham or Turkey, 10 oz, at $3.99 ($1.99)Can you use the .50 off lunchmeat on this?

      • swirlypop

Should be able to. My Q says “any variety of 10 oz lunchmeat”.

      • Rellybean

I’m going to – I presume that Jenny either missed that one or didn’t receive it.

    • Tambam

Does it matter which you give to cashier first? Competitor or Mfg. coupon?

    • Frannycwc2002

does anyone know if bilo will accept a 10 dollar off coupon from another store

      • Donna

Yes, my BiLo accepted my $10 of $30 from Food Lion – I am in Seneca,SC, the Clemson, SC accepted also.

        • Lorrose57

Where did you get the 10 off of 30? I am in West Union…..

      • Frannycwc2002

i have a 10 off 50 for harris teeter from recyclebank i guess i will try it the worst they can do is say no right

      • Amy Y

depends on your stores but most do accept dollar off amounts.  Our store requires manager approval for an amount over 5 but they always take them. I use up expiring RR from walgreens if there is nothing i want there.

      • Finorris

Yes, at least the one in Simpsonville on Fairview will.

    • Lopezshopping

Wow… very slow week for me with both BI-LO and HT this week.  Only major for me on this list seems to be the Domino's Sugar, and the raincheck I need to use to get 4 more Dawn soaps with the coupons I had bought.  Sorta sad to see hardly any deals this week, but I guess I need some time to recuperate anyway.  lol.  As far as the competitors coupons, do you use them as you would normal coupons, or do you stack them with a manufacturers?  I ask because I noticed like with the Always pads for example… they are 3.29, and it says 0.29 with competitor's coupon.  So is that to say the $2.00 coupon is being used in addition to the $1.00 Target coupon?  I've never used competitors coupons so I'm not familiar with how they work exactly.

      • Guest

I personally use alot of Family Dollar and Dollar General coupons, and most of them say their store name on the front BUT are actually Manufacturer Q's.  A store coupon, by definition is any coupon that is NOT a manufacturer coupon.   So you can use a NON manufacturer Q + 1 ManQ per item at Bi-Lo.  Family Dollar has lots of “store Copuons” that are good on between certain dates taht they print on the back page of their weekly flyer.  Hope this helps a little.

    • swirlypop

There are printable coupons .50/2  should work on the 10 for $10 pillsbury crescent and cinnamon rolls. Not sure where I printed them tho.

    • Paul

There is a 50 cent coupon on any variety of 10 oz lunchmeat in the 7/31 Smart Source insert.

    • Jessica

Does anyone know how to print the $1 coupon for Luvs off the site that was listed as 'printable'? The only thing I came across was a coupon to be mailed in 6-8 weeks….

      • Guest

She always lists this coupon wrong. It is not a printable, it has never been a printable. Luvs diapers are made by Proctor&Gamble and they do NOT issue printable coupons at all in an effort to prevent fraud. You found e right coupon, it was just listed incorrectly.

Jenny, I had a Redplum around my grocery ads today, on the back was a Bilo ad buy 3 Suave products and get 1 free, when you use your bonuscard. there were some great coupons in Sunday's coupons. any help with marrying these up?

      • Squirrellyec

My ad has Suave body wash for $1.99.  I have a publix coupon for .55cents off 1 which my Bi-Lo will accept as a competitor.  If your Suave coupon applies to the body wash that makes for a really good deal.  That will make a total of $2.67 for 4 body wash or .67cents each.

        • Mrs Lburns

There was an ad for B2G1 Suave Body Wash in Sunday paper so you can use it with Publix 55 cents off with the sale they have on that is B3G1 and get them for around .33 cents!

      • mtf

        Here is what I did yesterday – buy 4 suave men’s haircare @ b3g1f @ $1.99 each. (sale last week, not sure if price is same). @fc8ccbdd6bd85414e4ccc8e094327970:disqus 3 x $1.99 = 5.97
        – $1/2 x 2 = $3.97
        – $0.55/1 publix green “sail into savings” x 4 = $1.77 /4

You can also do a good deal with the body wash.

    • Shawna

There is a .50/1 Carolina Pride in the 7/31 SS and a .50/1 ERA in the 8/14 RP…they were in the Post and Courier in Chas, SC.  How do I access the Dominos Sugar coupon? I click on the link but I don’t see the coupon.

      • I did not see one either.  I happened to check my clipped Qs and found a Q for 50 cents off 4-5lb domino sugar that expires 9/30/11.  I have no idea where it came from.  I have family in Columbia that saves Q’s for me, so maybe they gave it to me from The State paper.
Thanks for the heads up on the other Qs!!

    • Squirrellyec

Saw on my ad today that they have a limit of 1 e-coupon redemption per Bonuscard.  So if you get multiple items that e-coupons would apply to only 1 will be used.  Don’t like that.

      • Wmllewis

I understood it to mean that the e-coupon would only redeem once if you’re buying multiples of the same item. That’s the way our store manager explained it anyway.

      • Lgartrel

I used 2 ecoupons last week (for different itesm) and both showed up on my receipt.

The brand challenge is for crystal light this month.  Check their website for the coupon.

    • Jess

Walgreens has a store coupon for $1 off the purchase of two international creamers, I used it with the .55 coupon.

      • lj

Where is the Wags coupon?  I looked in the book and found one for coffeemate… is it in the flyer?

    • Debbie

      Hi,
I dont see the Whole Foods coupon for Ben and Jerrys.
      Thank you

    • Tracy

Can anyone tell me how to find and print the Domino sugar q?

    • Jo

I cannot find the Domino sugar coupon.  Did anyone else find it?

      • Laura

I cannot find it either… the only one I could find was for the nectar!

      • Jlsrjs7911

        Found it in the 6/26 RP…its .50/1

    • partyof7in07

Does anyone know the competitor coupon policy for Bi-Lo in Simpsonville, SC? Publix only accepts Bi-Lo, Food Lion and Whole Foods coupons. Thank you!

      • Mrs Lburns

Bi lo in Simpsonville should use Target and Ingles coupons also since they are right down the road. Along with Rite Aid, Walgreens and CVS coupons! Double check with the store but my store in Powdersville will accept all of these!

      • Finorris

Simpsonville Bilo on Fairview is very coupon friendly. accept competitor coupons from all you mentioned as well as Walgreens, Target, Ingles, Food lion, etc.

    • Judy

My e-coupon worked yesterday on the SH fries.  Last weeks didn’t work for me. I am so glad it is working now.

    • nettek

      Unfortunate for me my Bi-Lo in chattanooga, tn still isn’t accepting target coupons :{

      • mjbacon

The two Bi-Lo’s on (north) Hixson Pike are.

        • penneymama

The one by Holiday Bowl?  Which competitors are they accepting?

      • susan

        E. Brainerd Rd Bi-lo will.  I have used Target, Publix, Food Lion, and CVS coupons, with no problem. :)

    • Princess Ofs

Hey! Bi-lo’s policy states that no electronic coupons can be doubles. Does that mean all of the printable coupons on the internet are not doubled or just Bi-lo’s? Thanks for your assistance.

      • lj

No, they are referring to Bilo’s “e-coupons”.  The ones that you load to your bonus card.  Internet printed coupons will still double, though some ppl are saying their store has stopped doubling if it says Do Not Double.  (My store doubles no matter what it says, if it’s .60 or less.)

      • guest

if it starts with a 5 it will double

    • Princess Ofs

It’s me again. So, Bi-lo WILL take a target coupon and a manufacture’s coupon? I  just don’t want to get in the checkout lane and cause a scene.LOL. Thanks.

      • momto2boys

        Mine will!

Can anyone tell me how catalina coupons work? How do you know what item you bought to recieve a catalina coupon? and are you only entitled to one coupon for a specific item? Thanks a bunch for your help!

    • me either.

    • Chele17rene

      Can u stack a man Q & a “target” Q??? thx

      • Rellybean

yes – Bi-Lo’s new coupon policy allows competitor coupons – however – check with your store they may only accept direct competitors, i.e. stores that are actually in the same town or area.  Unfortunately my store won’t accept Target, or Publix or anything because we don’t have one, but they will accept CVS, Wags and Rite Aid.

    • Helen

does anyone know if you can order items in bulk at bi-lo

      • Rellybean

My store will order stuff for me – just talk to your manager – usually they are delighted to do so because it keeps people from clearing their shelves.  It’s definitely where fostering a good relationship with the manager of your store comes in handy.

      • Debbie

yes you can.  call and ask to speak with the store director.

    • Knallen3989

just FYI… the Ritz crackerfuls @ my Bilo are 2 for $5, or $2.50 a piece, not 1.50….

    • Couponing78

According to the Bi-Lo ad i have the Ritz Crackerfuls are 2/$5 or $2.50 each instead of $1.50 each?  Anyone having the same luck?

      • Couponing78

If you use the Targe B3G1 coupon you can get them for $1.31 each wyb 4

      • Tracy

Same here for me on the Ritz Crackerfuls.

    • Tracy

Has anyone found the Domino sugar q yet?

      • Heather

Domino sugar q was in 6/26 RP and July All You Magazine :)

    • amberleigh

I have a question about the ecoupons, I know it is only valid for one shopping trip but does it apply to each item if you buy multiples or just one item?

      • Heather

        just one

        • Mrs Lburns

Just one and when you use it it is taken off your card.  But recheck the site cuz sometimes there are other options! for example, there was a 1/2 cinnamon toast crunch that i used on Wed but now there is a 1/2 general mills cereals that works!

    • Julissa

Ok i didn’t know where to post this so here I go when one has a coupon that said any one item of (xxx) product but it does not said excludes travel side can I buy travel sides with it at any store?  if the store double the coupons (less then .99) can they double for travel sides items? Like if I buy something at bi-low that is travel side and I have a coupon for .50 c can they double it for $1 confuse sorry.

      • amanda

        yes

    • Maryccc1959

does anyone use the zvr ecoupon for bilo?  I went to their website and added the coke and pilsbury crescent rolls to my card and it took off $1 for a 12 pk of sundrop that I bought and I bought 2 of the crescent rolls small can that are $1 and  had a .40 off 2 coupon that doubled to .80 and with the .50 zvr it made it about .35 a can.

    • Linda2011

I’m so confuses because the BI-LO at berea ,sc. do not accept any kind of competitor coupons. I ask them what kind of coupons they accepts and they did not give me a answer. so mad >>>>>>>

      • Corkysmom94

I work at bilo in cheraw, and its in our new coupon policy that we accept competitors coupons. check the coupon policy on this site and take it with you to your local bilo.

        • Linda2011

Has anyone used the wags coupon for the cream of mushroom soup at bilo?  Was wondering if I had to have a coupon for each can…

    • Sdking

I cannot find the El paso Taco seasoning or shell coupons in my SS booklets…..any advice?

      • Ucmba97

I printed from the smart source website a few weeks back.

    • Sdking

Actually none of my SS coupong booklets are adding up to what shes posts. Is there a trick? lol

      • Danielle

The values that Jenny uses are what most places get, but be advised that the coupons are regional.  You don’t usually get all the coupons.

        • Sdking

She’s in Columbia and I’m in Aiken, SC, so I thought I should be getting what she got…oh well I’m just missing out on a bunch of free stuff because of it.

          • Mcleodsc

I am in Sumter which is only about 60 miles from Columbia. We get terrible cpns in the local paper when we get any at all. I usually buy The State for some coupons. I also get coupons from Florida. The coupons in Florida are so much better than any we ever recieve. You might want to consider ordering from an insert site.

          • Aujones99

The Aiken Standard doesn’t have all the good coupons.  Be sure to get the State papers–costs $2, but coupons are WELL worth it!!

    • Lucille68

How do I get the Domino Sugar coupon?  Any suggestions, the link takes me right to tthe Domino page but from there I’m lost. Thanks

    • GM cereal is listed on the front of Bi-lo ad for 2/$5 but with e-coupon 2/$4… I have $2 off Publix coupons that were also in the paper.. Glad my Bi-lo accepts competitor coupons, that makes 2 boxes of cereal FREE :)

      • Mrs Lburns

I actually just got back with 9 boxes of cereal that they paid me .50 for! Using the 2 off and e coupons and the sunday coupons for 1/3!

      • Carl

where do i find the publix coupon?

        • Srbeachell

          in the weekly pulix ad

          • beachwedd

there was also a $1/2 cheeios in ss 7/17 to make them free even without the e coupon.  the e coupon is limit one anyway

    • guest

i just called the bi-lo i shop at in lafayette, and they said that a competitors coupon is considered a manufactures coupon not a store coupon and you can not use with a another manufacture coupon….ugh i am so confused

      • Mrs Lburns

Go to the customer service desk and ask for a copy of the coupon policy, It states very clearly they except both store and manufacturer.  The only time a store coupon can be considered manufacturer is if it states manufacturer coupon on it! I would call or go up there and ask for a manager.

    • Kathryn

Does anyone know what competitor coupons the Bi-Lo in Lyman, SC takes? Thanks!

      • Couponcliff

i called and asked specifically about target and they said “sure, we accept all competitor coupons” and i asked again, about target and she said yes.  i plan on trying tomorrow.  my sister has success with publix coupons.  i’m excited!!!  love the Lyman Bilo!
        –couponcliff–

        • Kathryn

Thank you. I will give it a whirl.

    • Jamisaves

My BiLo ad has several pilsbury refigerated products (cresents, sweet rolls, biscuits) 10 for 10. There are also several printable 50 cents off two coupons on smartsource.com (my area code30830) for these same items making them 50 cents each when you buy two.

      • Ucmba97

Plus there is an e coupon!!

      • Jenn

Thanks for sharing! Mine has them 10 for 10 also and I was looking for a coupon to stock up!!

    • Mcleodsc

I made a “test” trip to Bi-Lo in Sumter, SC just to see which competitor coupons they accept. This morning I used Publix, Target, and Food Lion store coupons and Walgreen’s Register Rewards. The Publix did not have a bar code and the cashier just entered the amount. The others with bar codes scanned without a beep. No more trying to roll Register Rewards at WAGS! Once the word is out that they accept Register Rewards, they are going to lure away a lot of couponers from Walmart. Plus the cashier was actually friendly, the ones at  Walmart always get a sour look on their face when they see coupons.

      • Reynoldsja

Was wondering since you shopped in Sumter, have you tried to use one of the in ad coupons from wags?  Was wondering if they would take it.  There is a limit of 3, but was wondering if I needed a coupon for each item…

        • Mcleodsc

I have not tried that yet. I am going tomorrow and try stacking a store cpn with an manu cpn and to see if I can use a $5/25 Dollar general cpn.

          • Anonymous

They will not take the DG 5/25 cpn here in sumter BUT I heard of someone using it at eh Bi-Lo in Hartsville. It looks like what they accept each time will depend on which cashier and which manager on duty-UGH!  I hate shopping when the policies are wishy-washy!  I wish they would post a sign near the door stating which stores they consider competitors. I think I will email them and suggest that.

      • Tward

Where do you get the Publix, Target, and Food Lion coupons?

    • Mrs Lburns

Just got back from Bilo total 75.63 for 15.32!
9 Boxes General mills Cereal (used 9 publix $2 off Q, .50/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch printable, 1/2 Cheerios, and 2 1/3 General Mills plus e coupon for 1/2)
4 eggs (.99 cents this weekend, used 1/2 printable incredible egg coupons when you like them on facebook)
4 Era detergents (2.99 this weekend, used 4 .50/1 which doubled)
2 Clorox wipes (used $2 Food Lion Coupon)
2 Ballpark Hamburger Buns (used 2 .55/1 which doubled)

      • Vickie315

Where did you get the egg coupons on facebook?  Would you send a link to the page?  Thank you so much!

    • I didn’t see any mention of ERA coupons, but I have some for 50 cents off of one ERA product. I don’t know where it came from, but it expires 8/31. Might want to check your coups! :)

      • Jlsrjs7911

        It’s in the 7/10 RP :)

Does anyone know if Bilo accepts RR from Walgreens and ECB from CVS?

      • Jlonon

The Bi-Lo in S Charlotte will take RR from Wags

    • Tward

Can someone tell me where you are getting your publix, target, foodlion, etc. coupons from to use at bilo.
Am I understanding this right…you can use a manuf. coupon and a competitor’s coupon for same item?

      • Jenn

You can get these from their website or sometimes in their ads or in store. You CAN use a comp. and a man. q for one item at Bi-Lo. You can also use Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General and Family Dollar q’s as a comp q as well! Hope this makes sense and hope it helps!

    • Mcleodsc

Well, OVERNIGHT the Bi-Lo in Sumter changed their coupon policy and now do NOT accept Publix or Target coupons. I have sent an email to their corporate office trying to find out (and get it in writing) which stores are competitors. The person in charge today said the store HAS to be in Sumter. A different person said that the store had to be within 60 miles of Bi-Lo. So which is it??? I will be back at Walmart until I get an answer. I do not have a problem with them not accepting Target or Publix-I have a problem with different employees interpreting the new policy differently. I need to know the correct policy so I can make a list and match coupons and KNOW how much I will be spending.

    • mj

The SH shrimp at my bilo were b1g1, but at $10.99 not $3.99.

      • Paige

I was wondering what the shrimp would be that is normally 3.99. I am going tomorrow and can’t wait to see!

        • Cinderellamuth

I think there’s a mistake there. It was $13.99 regular price at my BiLo.

    • Brooke

Has anybody used the Earthbound Recyclebank $2/2 coupon?  I’m worried it won’t work because the total of 2 packages will be $1.98,so you would have a $0.02 overage.  I think I remember reading that Bi-Lo will not allow you to have overages on deals.  I just want to make sure before I try it out.  Thanks.

    • Erikam1282

This will end today 8-21-11…the 3 day sale…the era detergent is on sale for 2.99 and there is a 0.50 coupon in the 8-14 RP…making it 1.99

      • Anonymous

Ack, just realized they were 3-day sales. Sad! I don’t usually shop Fri-Sun.

    • Anonymous

Sara Lee Bread is $1.99 and their was a .55cent coupon that dbls making the bread .89 cent, I also hear people saying they are getting it for .38 cent so i gues it depends on where you are
