    • I am loving the fact that Bilo will take competitor coupons… I got 2 $5 off of $20 in the mail for Dollar General and when I checked out at Family Dollar there was a $5 off of $25 for the weekend…. that combined with a lot of $1 off store coupons attached to food …. my bill went from $20.01 to $8.15… love it!  And it was worth a lot more, cause some of that was marked down… love BiLo

Rose, how did you get the DG coupon in the mail?  Did you sign up for something? Thx

        • ashley willis

Sometimes they print off on your receipt too. I went in tonight and bought a few things and one printed off for $5 off 25. I hope my Bilo will take it. Is that in their coupon policy that they will take it? Or does anyone have the link for their new coupon policy? Also they had a tearpad at the end of the aisle for $3 off 3 Kellogs products.

          • Anonymous

I get those $5 off $25 for the weekend fairly often. Right before Bi-Lo came out with e-coupons, I had a Food Lion store coupon for $5 off $25 and asked my Bi-Lo manager if he would accept it. He said he would only take FL store coupons off specific products but not $ off an order. Haven’t asked recently, so you might check at your store.

    • does anyone know if you can use register rewards from Walgreens and Rite Aid at Bi-lo as competitor coupons?

      • Anonymous

I know the Moncks Corner, SC Bi-Lo accepts them, but you could call ahead or ask a manager when you get in.  Not all Bi-Los are as lenient with their coupon policies.

    • There is a $0.75 off Salada tea at http://www.unbottleyourtea.com/coupon/.  It should make the green tea on the BOGO special $0.34 per box.

If you have any Kraft Velveeta Skillet Dinners that you are not gonna use and would like to trade please contact me via email please neair21@aol.com… Thanks

    • Bi-Lo also has 32 oz Heinz ketchup on sale for $1.68 and there was a $.25/1 q in Sunday’s SS. $1.18 isn’t bad for Heinz…

      • That is bad cause Publix and food lion have them for a .99 -50=.50 only pay for the hunts baby .

        • .99 for Hunts, but not Heinz… Call us ketchup snobs, but we only use Heinz in my household :)

    • Don’t know where else to comment, but the 100% local feature of the coupon database is AWESOME!!  Just made things MUCH easier!!

Oscar Deli Fresh lunch meats are BOGO btw.

With the .15 fuel perks promotion with the U by Kotex, Pantene shampoo was included in this.  If anyone still has the free bottle coupon from facebook (they sent me two) this would make a good deal.  Not so much without the coupons though, which is probably why it wasn’t listed.

      • Anonymous

Thanks so much for the info

      • Anonymous

YAY!! I have two of the Pantene Q’s.  So those combind with the kotex is going to make for a gas money maker!  Thanks for sharing, I might not have caught it on my own!

      • Anonymous

On this .15 fuel perks deal the items listed by Jenny and the Pantene are NOT included according to Bi-Lo’s website.  The ad is a little confusing but it is only for Top Care Vitamins as far as I can tell.  I also noticed that on the Fuel perks ads at the bottom of the qualifying items, they have a notification telling you it is a limit of one along with the exp. date of the offer.

      • I just went to Bi-Lo to do that gas deal but it didn’t give me the fuelperks because the Pantene was free. I called and they said they would give them to me this time, but technically since my Pantene was free I shouldn’t have gotten it.

Can anyone tell me what competitor coupons the Bi-Lo in Lexington, SC takes?

    • Anonymous

Can anyone tell me what competitor coupons the Bi-Lo in Lexington, SC takes??  Thanks!!

      • i asked the manager today and he said all.  even target and yellow advantage from publix that has a code not a barcode.  they rock now

      • Anonymous

They take all.  I even use CVs coupons and they even took a $5 Register Reward from Walgreens!!!!

        • Anonymous

Really?!  They took RR?  I asked the manager last week and he said no RR or ECB, only things from GROCEY stores!

      • Anonymous

I called Lexington Bi Lo and they said any well known store in the area!  So far I’ve used publix, Food Lion and Piggly Wiggly.  They do not take ECB’s or RR’s.

Can you tell me what competitor coupons bi-lo in royston, ga take? And i have a 2 q off gain or tide powder detergent, can you use it for the laundry deal?

      • That’s the one I use too and I’m not sure. We really need to ask the manager. It would help out so much!

    • Anonymous

Does anyone know competitors for bi-lo in royston, ga? Also, i have a 2 q off for gain or tide powder detergent, can you use it on the laundry deal?

    • ashley willis

Also i didnt know where to post this but Kmart is doubling q’s this week up to 98 cent. They have a good promotion with Scott products. If you spend 15 you get $5 off instantly and i believe their was some q’s in the mail last week and their was some in August All you. MOst of the products are priced at 5.49 . So it could be a great deal.

      • Anonymous

I went to Kmart today to get the scott bath tissue deal. When the cashier rang them up I didn’t get the $5 off the total. She said it was because the sale price 5.49 was taking the 5 off. So according to her no matter how many you buy you’re still getting the deal. I was really not happy, it totally messed up my figures I had planned.

      • Anonymous

I did this one!  I used one $1 off Scott, got 3 packs of 8 toilet paper, and only paid $10 and change.  Made the rolls about .34 cents each!!

    • Boo :( I did not get the Velveeta skillets coupon here in Greenville, SC

      • Anonymous

go online.  I use thecouponclippers.com and ebay.  If purchasing from ebay I suggest going for a buy it now auction, so you don’t have to wait for it to end and you know how much you are paying up front.  Also, I would suggest going with a top rated seller.

    • I have been fighting to the death with my Bi-lo over the competitor coupons. My Target coupons I printed are not scanning in their system and they are telling me they cannot take them because they will not scan. They said that their coupon policy states that the coupons must scan to be accepted when actually it says “only valid SCANABLE internet coupons”. Well, the Target coupons do have a valid bar code and they are “scanable”, they are just not scanning in their system. Am I wrong here? I have been couponing for years and am pretty sure I am not reading this incorrectly.

      • Anonymous

They need to key in the coupon amount, as competitor coupons will not scan at BiLo.  Have you talked to management?  If you still have issues call Corporate and ask them to contact the manager of your store.

        • YES! The manager is the one who had to key it in for me. My 3rd time going there I think he finally just got annoyed with me. He told me he had been keying it in as a curtsey to my but he will no longer do it. He said that the competitors coupons should scan and if they don’t then they won’t accept them. I tried to explain to him that the competitors coupons probably wouldn’t scan in their system, but he guaranteed me that they do if their store accepts them. I’m afraid I am going to have to call corporate on this one if I have anymore problems. I don’t want to upset them too much, as my bi-lo is one of the stores that doubles up to .99 everyday. Thanks guys. I’m glad I wasn’t misinformed or reading their coupon policy incorrectly.

      • Anonymous

They won’t scan because they are store coupons not manufacturer coupons.  Of course Bi-Lo doesn’t have Target coupons in their system.  They really aren’t thinking it through very well.  Anyway, they’ll have to key it in.  Mine always show up as grocery on the receipt for the ones they key in instead of scanned coupon.  Make sure you fill out the survey on your receipts and let them be aware of the issue.  These are viewed by the store and other managers in the area.  I would also go to their website and contact them via email.  I received a response before within 24 hours.

        • Yes, the manager’s read those surveys, as do the manager’s managers (which makes the store manager much more cooperative, if you know what I mean.)

      • Anonymous

competitor coupons will not scan at any store that takes them….. they have to key them in manually.

        • Anonymous

You also have to watch when they do scan, I used a Walgreens coupon that did scan, and it rang up as Southern Home water! It charged me over $2. I’m glad I was watching the register and noticed it before paying. A manager came over and took off the water and keyed in the coupon another way and it worked. Guess we have to be very watchful until they get all the kinks worked out!

          • Anonymous

Oh, my! Thanks for the heads up! I never thought of a coupon scanning for an item before. Whew!  I’ll keep a close eye from now on!

      • Anonymous

i really can’t believe this. has that store not read their new policy? that is ridiculous seriously. My friend tells me to print off their new policy and take it with me everytime. Each time I have used one ..they just push store coupon and it shows up as “grocery” as other people have stated on here. A manager shouldn’t say they are doing it as a courtesy…it is in their new policy for goodness sakes. I had an instance where I was under the impression you could use a Walgreens IVC and a insert manufacturer’s coupon on the same item, but the assistant manager told me i could only use one. I didn’t argue and just accept the higher coupon of the both. But if they are puting in competitor’s store coupons as store coupons then you should be able to do that…but yeah i feel your pain. they have gotten better here though.

      • Anonymous

Yes you can use the Walgreens coupons at Bi-lo, I used it this week with the coffee creamer.

There is a difference with the scanable internet v. competitors coupons. In Aiken, they have just keyed in the coupon since it did not scan.

    • Anonymous

This may have been mentioned before.  There is a printable coupon for the Hot Pockets …$1.00 off the purchase of 3.  I found it on couponnetwork.com

In my ad in Beaufort SC Gain dish soap is on sale for 1.99, last weeks paper had a .50 cent off Q making it .99 cents

    • Be sure to grab the bi-lo ecoupon for southern home milk before heading to the store. With ecoupon, it’s 2 gals. for $5. I misread the ad and did not notice that you needed ecoupon. Nice manager gave me the discount anyway. I’ll be returning to that store!

    • Anonymous

What Happens if  the store is out of an item that is advertised with an E coupon. I know you can get a rain check, but if the sale goes off  before they get the item,  will you be able to redeem the e coupon. Someone said they are only good for the week of the promotion. If they cant be used with rain check then I am not liking this e coupon stuff at all. It excludes many elderly and fixed income people  who have no
access to a computer. PLus  you can only redeem it one time. That is more strict than the printable limit of two.

      • Anonymous

my store allows me to purchase the item and use my recept as a “raincheck” to get the item free when it comes in Soo if its and item that you know will be back next week when its not on sale Ask if they can do that for you!!

        • Paige

My store actually will write me a raincheck and write the item price as FREE on the raincheck.

So I always shop at Bi-lo and buy the meal deal, today I was told I could not use my coupons for the garlic bread and Ice cream. Has anyone else ever had this issue? They have always excepted them in the past.

      • Anonymous

You will have to use the coupons before they scan your card.

        • Anonymous

at my store they want start scanning your groceries until you give them your card any ideals about that

          • Anonymous

it is in bi-lo’s policy that the bonuscard must be given at the beginning of the order.

            • Anonymous

I work for Bilo and shop there. They are having problems with scanning the bonus card last bc the system isn’t always taking off the sales and not doubling the coupons when thye are scanned after. They have been working on the system though so hopefully they will get it fixed. The cashier can type in the coupon but if they have to many typed in coupons on their log for the week then loss prevention is called in. So it is not the cashier trying to be difficult, they are just trying to keep their jobs!

      • Anonymous

I would ask to speak to a manager. The cashiers might not know that you are allowed to use a coupon on the free items in the meal deals or laundry deals (at least at my bi-lo). However, because they ring up as free they must be typed in. Don’t try and use your coupons before the card because it has a tendency to break the register when you get into overage b/c of coupons which bi-lo computers are programmed not to do.

    • Anonymous

So I shop at Bi-lo everyweek and I always buy the meal deal, but today I was told I could not use my coupons for the garlic bread and ice cream. I have always been allowed to use these coupons in the past, anyone else have this problem?

      • You Must give them coupons and wait GIVING BI-LO CARD LAST. I remember this from Jenny’s class.

        • Their new policy says that you have to give your Bi-Lo card first now, thus no coupons on the free items anymore. It’s still a great deal though!

      • because they are giving you the items FREE they won’t allow you to use coupons on them anymore

    • Anonymous

Went to Bi-Lo today, but before the ecoupons came out, so I missed the milk deal. : (  However, I got the McCormick Marinade spices – .44 each, plus .10 off per gallon fuel perk; then I got the X-14 Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner with a doubled .55 cent coupon, and they actually gave me .34 cents overage!  The price was 1.49 normally, and this week its buy one, get one free.  I also got 3 Texas Pete chili sauces for .36 each after a .50 off coupon I’ve had since May.  One more thing, the Kotex pantyliners print a $2 catalina when you buy one.  I ended up not getting them because they wouldn’t stack my Walgreens coupon with the manufacturer coupon.

Bilo on Pleasantburg in Greenville SC is undergoing renovations and has a bunch of stuff marked down in carts as you first go in. Some cleaners and hair products have match-ups in the Publix green flier and baby book, making them cheap or free…

      • faith jones

        Charis hello, this is lashina

      • Anonymous

After it is renovated they should have a grand reopening.  They have an extra page of goodies in their ad.  Ours has been doing it for about 2 months since they “reopened”.  Also, make sure your Bi-Lo card has your info up-to-date.  They should send out some coupons in the mail.

    • faith jones

anyone having problem with planters peanut butter coupon coming up?

    • I had a problem with the meal deal and coupons. First the $1 Ice cream coupon is for .5 gallon not 16oz that you get with the deal. Also the .50 bread coupon would not scan….some say to scan your coupons first then give them your bonus card??? That may work but my store will not do it that way.

Also the hot pockets list a $1 off coupon, but that is for the Snackers which are not on sale???

      • Anonymous

Jenny always posts the snackers coupons but you can only use it if it applies. In this case it does not. Also, it is in bi-lo’s policy that you MUST give the bonuscard at the beginning of the order, therefore you cannot use coupons on FREE items. This is clearly stated in bi-lo’s policy so i don’t know why Jenny promotes and encourages this. =/

        • Anonymous

She doesn’t promote and encourage that anymore.  I just went to her seminar last weekend and she said to follow Bilo’s rules and give them the bonus card first.

          • Anonymous

that’s good to hear. i’m glad she has stopped. i just wish the coupons wouldn’t get matched up to the free items on here. =/

I had the same problem with the meal deal. It is so frustrating to plan your entire shopping trip and clip all the coupons, only to be told you can not use the coupons, yet last time they allowed it…  Go figure.

Yes I spoke to the manager , he sais they only accept walgreens coupons for a product, not a RR which states $’s off your next purchase…..I dont get it, but he wouldnt budge.

    • at Bi-lo in Greenville, SC, the carolina pride regular jumbo hotdogs (not the all beef) are 2.99 /2 =1.49 each then 1.49 – .50/1 coupon = .49 each
Also the carolina pride ham starts at 3.69, the turkey is 3.99.

    • I went to bilo today to do the laundry deal and they would only let me use 1 off gain detergent but i could not use  a coupon on the gain fabric softner because i was getting it for free, is this right???

      • Anonymous

nope, if they scan the item they must scan the coupon. however what they will do is tell you that and that is why they ask for your bonus card at the beginning of your transaction as it will take the item off making the coupon not scan!

    • christy ogle

I finally got around to looking at this week’s add and I’m confused on the Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Price- The front page says the gold star BSCB at $1.99 a pound, but in 2 other places inside the ad it lists it at $3.99 ?!?!? Which is correct? Because you can’t beat $1.99 a pound…it would save me a trip to Costco if that’s correct…

      • Anonymous

It looks like there is a difference in the 2, one says it is leaner and 99% fat free, and this is the one for $3.99.

      • There is a difference when you go to the store.  I didn’t look at it cause I just got the whole chicken for .79lb instead, but I saw two distinct products for the two different products.

the Walgreens $2 off Kotex coupon is off 2 boxes but it is still a good deal if you use 2 mf coupons for $1 off it makes the total $3 for two boxes

FYI-the Sumter SC Bi-Lo does not take Wags RR anymore. Publix in Columbia does take them and they have double coupons. So in less than a week they have stopped taking Publix, Target, Wags RR. It will be worth the gas to make a trip once a week to Columbia.

      • Anonymous

I think that Bi-Lo’s mistake was not “schooling” their cashiers on what coupons to take and what to not take.  I called the Sumter Bi-Lo as soon as the new policy came out and the manager told me local competitor’s coupons (within Sumter) on an item, so right there, I knew no dollar off coupons (wags RR).  All it takes is one couponer to say they used a Publix or a Target coupon or a Wags RR and it is ALL over Sumter that they take these.  Of course bigger towns will have a better variety of local competitors than we do!  I hate that they aren’t taking the Publix, Target or Wags RR’s, but I am glad they do take at least the local competitor’s coupons.  I would love to drive to Columbia or even Florence to try the Publix or Harris Teeter, but my time is limited with family and work, that I will just continue to shop at Bi-Lo!  I have not tried price matching or comp. coupons at Wal-Mart because honestly, I don’t want to mess with their coupon “ignorance” or the crowd!!

Oh, and just a strong feeling…the other Bi-Lo’s will probably stop taking Wags RR or other dollar off coupons.

        • Anonymous

I asked one of the managers after the new coupon policy came out and was told that they WOULD accept publix and target coupons. I think the problem is that bi-lo has too many managers and each one has their own coupon rules.

    • Anonymous

Just used the Walgreens coupons for the first time today and they took them without question…I half expected an argument.  I got three boxes of U by Kotex for .50 each!  I didn’t realize until I got home that I didn’t get credit for the ecoupon on the milk; was it only for the whole milk?  I got 1%.  It’s not worth driving back for $1.00.  Not the best trip I’ve ever had; my youngest son has been put on a special diet, so most of what I used to buy I can’t now, so I’m not saving as much.  But I’m grateful for anything I can save on, even though it’s a challenge since I can’t increase my budget.  I’m liking Bi-lo more than I used to.

      • Anonymous

Could you explain how you got the Kotex for .50 each?  Got 3 to buy for including myself!!

          • Anonymous

I do the same thing!  May go back and get some more today, since the August coupon books for Wags expire very soon.   Usually I don’t grab too much of any coupon, but since these are almost expired, I think it would be okay.

      • Anonymous

I too had the problem of my ecoupon not taking off the discount for the 2 gallons of milk. I called the corporate customer service and the lady checked my card and said she saw where it had been loaded to my card. She said the store should have just refunded my money while I was there.  She did something that she called a manual override and to my understanding is suppose to take the amount off the next time I swipe my card.  It isn’t alot of money…….but if these programs are not working correctly and we don’t let them know, how will things get fixed.  Just my feelings:)

Which Bi-Lo in the Myrtle Beach Area doubles $1 coupons?

    • Just letting everyone know if they couldn’t get the free degree deodorant at Walgreens this week. BILo has degree deodorant on sale for $2.69. The green coupon flyer at publix has a store coupon for $2.00 dollars off. Use 2 of those which makes the total $1.38 for 2. Then use the manfurg. for a $1.00 off two which makes your total .38 cents.  Then to top it off you get a $1.00 back coupon for your next order which makes them free with money maker of 62 cents!!!!!!!

U By Kotex deal_ wags q expired 8-27 and is for $2 off 2.

    • I need some help understanding how the competitor’s coupons work at Bi-lo. I had a Walgreen’s coupon that had Scotch Tape only 39¢ (not 39¢ off). The regular price for the tape is $1.29. The cashier keyed in 39¢ off and  it doubled. They charged me 57¢. I told the cashier that this wasn’t what the coupon was for and she said it doubled and would work out the way it was supposed to. I had her take it off of my large purchase and ring it up separately so I would know it was done right. Once again, the register doubled 39¢ making it 57¢. If the coupon is for Scotch tape only 39¢ plus tax, then it should not have been 57¢. Is Bi-lo supposed to honor this type of coupon for what it reads?

      • I thought they were only doing $ off coupons, but I could be wrong… I think those types of coupons are more like price matching.

I just read on another coupon blog facebook page about changes in Bi-Lo’s coupon policy. cannot stack a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon anymore. I do not know it it just applies to the store in Sumter or if the new policy is state-wide.  I can only think of ONE time where I was able to stack a Bi-Lo cpn and manufacturers coupon. I am wondering if Bi-Lo is refering to the ecoupons that are loaded onto your card? I think the store in Sumter has forgotten that Publix and Krogers in Columbia and Harris Teeter in Florence are just an hour away. I am having some minor surgery next week, but as soon as I am able I am going to head over to Columbia. Someone told me that the closest Publix has a Kroger across the street..

I think I am beginning to not like Bi-lo’s new policies and Definitely dont like the ecoupons. I know for a fact that when I used an ecoupon(.50) for Bisquick one day and  a manufacturer coupon for Bisquick (.50), the manufacturer coupon did not double. I think it is because of the ecoupon. I bought the Bisquick later with just the manufacturer coupon and it doubled. I also dont like the fact that the very people who need to save (elderly fixed incomers ) often dont mess with the internet or  have computers in general.  And you cant take the coupon to another store that accepts competitors coupons. I am very dicouraged with BiLo right now!

Their policy online still says that they allow one manufacturer’s and one store coupon per item.

Went to bilo to get the kotex u deal and my local bilo told me i couldn’t use a walgeen coupon and a manafactur coupon because it was the same thing and refused it. So i left without anything. Is this correct?

Does Bi-Lo do price match with Kroger, Publix, and Food-Lion?

Apparently it depends on where your store is located and may depend upon which manager is on duty.
In other words, you need to ask whoever is managing on the day you are shopping.
Also beware of the new ecoupons. If you buy a product with the ecoupon and use a manu coupon too, the manu coupon will NOT  double.
There are lots of issues going on at the Sumter Bi-Lo; hopefully that is NOT the one you are going to!

I Just Came from Bi-lo and I am thoroughly DISGUSTED. They no longer reduce produce or dairy and milk products. When I asked the manager if it was a liability issue, he said “No” . He said Bi-lo wants to maintain the IMAGE of having the freshest produce and dairy in town! I asked him what they did with it and he siad they THROW IT AWAY and POUR THE MILK DOWN THE DRAIN” They have an image allright and it isnt a good one. THis is SO WASTEFUL. ANd they pay employees to go through the stuff just to throw it away. ALL decent groceries have mark downs . It’s very accepted in the consumer world and in no way affects image. WAKE UP BI-LO!!!

Did anyone have a problem with the U by Kotex deal not giving them the proper fuel perks?  I asked at customer service and they told me it was not included cause it was not in the blue box in the weekly ad … does anyone have any input on this?
