Bi-Lo Weekly Ad 9/9-9/15

on 9.9.2009 at 2:30am

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

It’s another huge B1G1 sale at Bi-Lo this week!  The ad says “hundreds” I don’t know if you could say that many, but there are a lot.  The rest of the ad is pretty slim so try to just stick with the B1G1 deals to get the best savings.

Remember:
1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them

Just a heads up if you go on-line and do the bi-lo survey using your receipt, after the survey, they are giving as a thank you for doing the survey a link to print a coupon for a bi-lo reusable green shopping bag. I filled out 2 surveys and got 2 bags woo hoo!

    • It is getting better my cashier told me, that eveytime i shop with this reusable back they will take off 5 cents from my grocery purchase.

I had B1G1 coupons for the 4c products but don’t remember from where. Had to be a Sunday paper, because I had several. Hope you can find some!

Plus our Spray n wash brite & white was $5 BIGI – what a bummer. I wish they would stick with the price in the flier.

Hey guys, I cannot seem to find the Endust coupon. Does anyone know what other coupons would have been with it on 08/30 in Red Plum? I really need to mark the dates on these things. Thanks in advance!

    • Alison the date is on the spine of the insert in teeny tiny letters

    • Alena

I apologize if this has already been brought up but I just realized it. I try and budget for Bi-Lo according to their weekly ad but the prices in the store don’t match up. Example: Buy one get one free Air Wick Starter Kit @ $12.96. With my $6 coupon, I figure I’ll get it for 48 cents. However, when I get to the store, the starter kit is $13.08. Same with all of the items I bought today (besides tuna). The buy one get one free All was actually $5.75, not $5.24 as the ad “implies.” My Finish Powerball Tabs were $7.39, not $6.84. Anyone know how to truly tell the actual price of items if you cannot go off what the ad says? (And yes, I know on the ad it states “save at least $ on two”). Thanks!

    • Shanna

My Bilo in Batesburg-Leesville had a new coupon book out today. “Save over $33 today”, it is a Johnson brands cleaning coupon book!

Great BiLo List! There are several items we need/like at great prices!

    • sam

I was trying to print coupons from the links above and got this message:

      Fraudulent attempt to print detected.

You may only print coupons from the Internet on a SmartSource enabled website.

All I was doing was installing the SS coupon printer thing and I have no clue!

    • RM

Alena I know what you mean about budgeting but I think it’s impossible to get it down to the penny. I SHOP AT TWO BI-LOS IN MY TOWN AND THE PRICES VARY BY store the other day when the chex mix was on sale BOGO one store was 50 cents cheaper than the other on the price. I don’t get it either.

    • Also- if your Bi-Lo accepts competitor coupons, there is a Mrs. Butterworth coupon in the Publix Toss For Cash booklet

    • Alyssa

There is also a YooHoo $4 off coupon in the Publix Pre-Game Savings which makes them around $.70 for a 12 pack! That is a great deal! The coupon doesn’t start until the 12th though.

    • Kristen

Watch out with the Chex Mix printable coupons. I printed those and they would not scan in the store. The manager had to come over and manually enter the coupons, but he would not double them because they said do not double.

    • Holly

I experienced the same thing with prices at Bi-Lo. It’s never accurate per the ad. I plan to spend 12.96, but it is actually $13.12, etc. I had calculated my total at $29 pre-tax for this trip and it actually came up to $33 pre-tax because of this. However, given my sub-total before tax was $121.33, I’m not going to complain.

This was a SUPER savings week!

By the way, I’m not sure if anyone cares, but my husband refuses to use products like the 2000 Flushes because he says that bleach will harden the rubber seal in the toilet tank and create future leaks and problems. I was not aware of this but I thought I would pass it on.

Also, any gallon of milk is still $2 off when you buy 2 12-pk of pop-tarts at $2.50 each.

    • Carol

I purchased several of the Air Wick Freshmatic kits….I was told later in the day that the B1G1 product I purchased with the $6.00 off coupon was actually not the same product that the coupon referenced. I don’t have any of those particular coupons left to check that but I didnt have any problems with the scanner beeping me either. Has anyone noticed that the Air Wick that is B1G1 is actually not the match to the $6.00 off coupon?

    • Jeanette

I plan to visit Bi-lo tomorrow and put some of these savings to work! But I was wondering.. how does the double coupons work? Do they automatically double or do you have to ask?

      Thanks!

    • Freedom

The coupons say its for the iMotion AirWick but i didnt have a problem with them scanning either.

Also my prices were different as well on the airwick-$13.08, Spray n Wash $4.99. But the adj airwicks said 10/$10 but rang up $.50 each plus i used the coupons. Great deal!!! My total was $144.27 and anded up being $33 even. So no not complaining. Plus I have more coupons left as well to make another trip.

    • tina

Did I miss something … is the New England coffe on sale…I hope so, I’m almost out of coffee..lol

    • sloan

Best trip to Bi-lo yet, Spent $2.35 OOP on $83 of groceries. Dog bones (worked with a milk bone coupon IP), 2 air wick starters, 2 carpet fresh, magic erasers, tuna, kashi meals, hummus, I bunch of other groceries I can’t remember! AND I bought a 3 pk of the Gerber Graduates milk (with a coupon) and it has a try me free sticker – $3.79 mail in rebate!! Free free free is my favorite word. They started fuel perks too, and they must take the before coupon total because it said I had already earns $.05 off! .

    • Lana

      Holly,
We don’t use things with bleach period because we have a septic tank. Heard the pumper truck next door this AM-they use bleach for everything and have to pay for a pump out every 2 years or so-we haven’t ever had to have a pumpout in 30 years.

      Also to everyone-
Make sure they give you the 5 cent bag credit because they frequently forget.

Glad to hear the fuel perks are before coupons-YIPPEE!

    • Susan

My coupon beeped on the AirWick :(. I did not realize the coupon wasn’t a match.

    • Charlotte C.

Not sure if this is posted on here anywhere but Bilo in Summerville SC has the Endust B1G1 so you can get if for .06 with your $2.00 off coupon. Happy Dusting :)

In the deli department there are .75¢ off coupons (it says do not double but will) for the wunderbar bologna for $2.49lb minus the $1.50lb coupon makes for some good cheap bologna. I had her to package mine in 2 seperate packs and used 2 coupons.

I just got home from Bi-Lo, and it was an awesome trip!!!! I don’t feel so much like a rookie now: groceries worth 255.87: paid 80.22!!!!
Jenny, you were right, it does take a while. At first my cupboards still felt bare, now I am having trouble finding a spot!!!! Thank you so much for all that you do!!!

      **Deal Alert**

At my Bilo in Ooltewah the Old El Paso Refried Beans are 4/$5. $1.25 per can with a doubled coupon makes them .65 plus tax! Last week they still doubled my “do not double” IP.

    • Michele

For those of you who have noticed a difference in prices from one Bi-Lo to the next, don’t feel alone. Our Harrison Bi-Lo has higher prices than advertised as well. I love the store and the people who work there are great, it just aggravates me that I am paying more because of where my store is located. I am guessing they can have higher prices because they have no “real” competition out here. I really wish there would be some consistency and fairness on the prices though.

    • Jennifer

Shanna, where did you find this coupon book at, I called the Batesburg store and they told me they don’t have it. I was just wondering where you found it at.

    • Melissa

Bi-Lo has the following for their 3 Day Sale

Pork Spare Ribs .99 a lb.
      SH Lrg White Eggs .79
      Catfish nuggets .99 lb.
      Green cabbage .29 lb.

Does anyone know if Bi-Lo gives rainchecks? I went to 2 different stores and both were out of the Air Wick Freshmatic.

      • Jenny

        Angela,

They do give rain checks just tell customer service what they were out of and they will write you one with no problems.

    • Yes, Bilo does rainchecks, the cashier always tells me to go to the service desk. They will write them for up to 4. Example, a BOGO on Starbucks ice-cream was written for 4 — so 2 BOGO deals.

    • In reference to the Air Wick coupon, I had the same issue as someone above but couldn’t use the coupon. The Air Wick starter kit in my Bi-Lo is 13.49 B1G1, but it’s the regular one on B1G1, not the I-motion; therefore, the I-motion $6 coupon couldn’t be applied. (Didn’t buy the item.) Did great in other deals though.

    • Fresh Gourmet Crispy Onion or Wonton Strip topping, 3.5oz., at $2.29
-.50/1 Fresh Gourmet Crunchy Salad Toppings SS 5/03

Be careful. This coupon starts with a 9 and does not double.

Great trip this afternoon. Total 67.63 – paid $17.73. Just ran in to get a few sale items. Internet coupons all doubled. The i-Motion wasn’t BOGO but the Lyson Neutra Air was – no coupon – no sale!! :-)

Out of tuna, magic erasers, endust free. Try again tomorrow.

Does the Chex Mix for Barbecue or Sour Cream work on any flavor?

      Thanks, such a great site!!

    • What days are the 3 day sale?

    • I’m having trouble printing some coupons….like the Tribe hummus coupon and all those that come up with that one. I keep getting the “Java is disabled” message. I have gone through all of the troubleshooting steps listed and everyting looks correct on my computer. Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?
      Thanks!

    • Shanna

Jennifer #47 The coupon books were at the begining of the cleaning/ paper goods aisle! There were a lot still left when I was there!

    • Tracy

Kelloggs Raisin Bran Crunch was B1G1 for $4.99. I was expecting B1G1 for $3.69. With the $2/2 coupone, they came to $1.49ea as opposed to the $.89ea. I usually confirm the price listed on the shelf, but I was so excited that they still had the number of boxes I wanted, I guess I forgot to look. I think I will return my 6 boxes. Spent way more than I wanted to.

    • Monica

I just got back from BiLo and was bummed to discover many of they B1G1 deals that were advertised were not really B1G1 in the store. Examples: Spray and Wash; Chex Mix Selects; and also several things were more expensive than advertised.
I also had them tell me for the first time today that they will not double coupons that say do not double or triple. This confuses me because it is a manufacturers coupon…so why would they care if the store chooses to give you double value??

Have you redeemed your coupons for your free bags yet. On the coupon it states “Limit one per customer”. I was able to open a print dialogue box and printed several coupons. I hope I can use them. I may have to do it in seperate trips. Also, they will give you the .05 credit on any reusable bag that you take with you. I do not have a Bi-Lo bag yet, but on my last trip I took 4 that I have from other stores. The clerk asked me how many I had and I told him 4. When I got home and looked at my receipt I saw that I had received .20 credit. Nice surprise. My before total was 82.29; Paid 17.95. Good trip!

    • Kathleen

      Kathryn–

Everytime I’ve needed a raincheck I’ve been lucky enough to get it for as many as I want. Poptarts BOGO, they ran out, I asked for a raincheck for a total of 10 sets. 20 BOXES!!! I love when they run out of items!!!

If I only buy 2 sets they re-write the rain check for me for the remaining amount!

The Dwight Yoakam’s Chicken Lickin’s has a printable coupon: http://www.modernfoods.net/print_coupon.html. You can also sign up and get coupons in the mail.

    • Cori

My Bilo let the airwick coupons be used! Also, the Cat treats sweet temptation are $1/1 this sundays paper, making them FREE!

    • heather

I’m really not trying to be the coupon police here, but if the AirWick coupon is not a match for the item, you shouldn’t use it. The essence of the coupon and what it should be used for is in the wording – not the bardcode. Although it doesn’t make it right, sometimes you can get away with using a coupon that’s not for that particular item b/c it’s from the same manufactuer and that’s why some of you can use it without beeping(that’s all I’ll say about that, b/c that gets into coupon decoding, and I know Jenny would not appreciate that being dicussed here.) Really, though, if the wording of the coupon does not match the item on sale, you shouldn’t use it.

I also have the same problem about the store prices not matching the ad prices. The only thing I can figure is when the ad includes the statement save “at least” xx amount, I know some items are going to be higher than what’s advertised.

    • Re:Heather #64
I’m totally with you on the coupon decoding thing. It’s one thing when you sincerely don’t notice it and pass the coupon through and find out later. That is an accident and unfortunatly it happens, but I’m with you. You should only buy what the coupon is for, not another item that it is NOT for. I was VERY dissappointed to see that the coupon did not match because I was very excited to get the air freshners for .48, but it did not match, so I did not use it. Better luck next time, but at least I don’t feel guilty about anything. :)
      Thanks for addressing that Heather.

    • Sara

Can anyone tell me if BiLo takes expired coupons? Thanks!

    • Bobbi

The Campbell’s Tomato & Chicken Noodle Soup is 5/$3 until tomorrow. With the $.40 off 4 cans coupon from Sunday’s SS it is only $.40/can.
