Here are the differences in the coupon inserts you received Sunday 1/24.

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy. There are variations every week.

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. You see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your inserts and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. A way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

looking at the ad for the Chattanooga paper, I noticed that there are four colors…black, red, green and blue…what do the black and green signify? I saw the note for the blue and red, but not for the black and green. Thanks! <

      • Jenny

sorry – Black means nothing changed

and I confess green I don’t know some folks who make the list go above and beyond

      • big john

lol green means go and buy it lol

    • Teaundra

ugh! Charleston didn’t get half of the coupons!

      • Alice

I second your ugh…does anyone know how to get a bigger paper here in Charleston? Does The State paper they sell around here include the coupons?

    • Anne

Is it better to buy more than one paper to try and get as many coupons as possible? I usually just buy The State.

      • Stacey

To answer you’re question- Yes it is better to try and get a bigger paper because they have the bigger inserts with different and sometimes higher value q’s. I live in Lexington and get The State too but their inserts are not as good as a level 1 paper like the Charlotte Observer. We used to be able to buy that paper locally but the newstand went out of business so now I carpool with a group of ladies to get the C.O. in Winnsboro. Case in point, the $4 Knox q in the 01/24 insert was not in The State but was in the Charlotte Observer.

        • Daisy

          Stacey,
Is the C.O. sold there in Winnsboro, or is there someone kind enough to meet you part way? I sorely miss my weekly C.O. since the newstand closed. I have even inquired of every truck driver/delivery person I know that has a route outside of Columbia, but no one has a consistent enough delivery schedule for it to work out (everyone’s region has decreased in range due to the economy–just like the newspapers’–LOL).

I had contacted the circulation dept. of C.O., but wasn’t keen on the idea of driving to Chester every Sunday (the closest point according to them). A fellow Southern Saver suggested getting it by mail, but I don’t know if it would have the coupons in it every week. Thanks for any input.

    • Emily

Just an FYI– Greenville News and Spartanburg Herald are exactly the same 90% of the time. You can look on the spine of the insert and it lists the names of the paper that specific insert was printed for. Typically, Spartanburg and Greenville are printed together. I’ve only seen this not be the case 1-2 times in the past 6 months. I get the Spartanburg paper each Sunday and I have a family member who gives me their Greenville paper each week…so I have both to compare.

This week was very dissapointing for the Chatta TFP. I wasted my money even buying a paper as most of the q’s listed were’nt in the paper. I have deciced to just order the inserts from now on. It’s a little pricier, but atleast I am getting the q’s I want/need. I am ordering from http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com and I am very pleased with this site. Maybe for others this would be a help as well.

    • Lauri

I recently ordered the Atlanta Journal and have had nothing but problems getting it delivered via mail. I live in the Chattanooa area and we don’t get nearly the coupons as the larger papers.

I ordered the AJC several weeks ago and so far have only received one paper and it only had 1 insert and was supposed to have 3. Has anyone else had any problems ordering via mail? I contacted the paper and they shipped out another one of the same issue and it didn’t have any inserts.

It seems like the inserts are disappearing before I get the paper…when I get it.

I hate to continue calling but I also hate to pay for something I don’t receive.

      Thanks for any comments/suggestions/help.

one of the many reasons its refered to as the atlanta urinal and constipation.

    • isa

Hi, first i have to say i LOVE this website!

In regards to the original post about missing Q’s in your insert, how do we contact the source? email the mf or am i missing the email for ss and rp?

we NEVER have sure deod. or poptart q’s. i live in the bham area. can anyone help? i know others get those q’s and would like to receive them since we used them all the time!

      thanks!

    • Mary

I was very disappointed with Chattanooga paper too. All the deals I thought I was gonna get were the missing coupons. Is Knoxville paper any better?

    • valencia

I live in Jacksonville and could write up the Times Union. How and who do i turn it in to?

    • jlev

Lisa, Thanks for the N&O breakdown – fabulous!!!!

    • Michelle

What do the red and blue highlights mean for Georgia?

    • Sorry I'll leave blue for all changes from now on to make it less confusing! But I had green as a coupon that wasn't listed at all in the national list…blue was a coupon that was changed in value from the national list.
