Finally a printable coupon for CVS that is not email specific!! Go here and take a short quiz and then print a $5 off any $25 purchase to CVS. This is great to put with some of the scenarios for this upcoming week.

Check out the weekly deals here, these deals start tonight at 6pm for non 24 hour stores or Sunday for anyone that doesn’t like to shop early.

(thanks Maehing!)

Just wanted to make sure everyone understood, CVS in my area just changed a little bit when it comes to loading the ECB items, before all ecb’s were loaded in the register by 6 pm Saturday. Last week we had some problems and the staff on duty actually printed all of ours up for us. We went in later that week and they said that they were unaware of the change, but when they load the sales the 3day ECB’s are not available until Sunday morning. The rest are available on Saturday night just like always.

    • amanda

i was able to print this twice.. do u think it will let me actually use the second one or will the code be invalid?

    • Jennifer

I have found that they are usually only valid one time.

    • Val

I also was able to print more than one, but I would think that because you have to let them scan your Extra Care card it would only allow it once. I don’t know for sure, but it seems like they must have a way to restrict how many times you can use it or people would go crazy with them.

    • Verona

I couldn’t get it to print in FF, but it worked in IE. Just in case someone else is having trouble. Thanks for the tip!

    • New at This

HOLD this coupon for a few days…I “beefed up” my shopping trip to use this coupon tonight and they said it wasn’t valid until 8/10 and there was no way they could over-ride it. At the point I found that out it was too late to fall back and punt so I went ahead and got it all anyway, but if I had known I sure would have waited to buy those huggies diapers on Monday!

    • Rachel

I clicked on the link at the top and it led me to a blank page – so I went to cvs.com but couldn’t see a link there to take me to the quiz. Any ideas?

    • Kim

I tried using mine tonight and when the cashier scanned it said it was not valid until the 10th.

    • Kelly

I tried to use mine tonight as well and they also told me it wasnt valid til the 10th, even though it doesnt say that on the sheet. SO DONT plan to use them til monday :( Luckily I had just asked for the ready fill coupons and it has the 4/20, so I didnt come out too bad.

    • Jenni

What is the expiration date on the coupon?

    • Heather

I have a question… I have a coupon for $4 off facial skin products does that inclue makeup? I am assuming it does but I wanted to make sure before I tried to use it.
      Thanks

    • Tricia

Is this Q like the Walgreens’ one earlier this week, where the $25 has to be after all coupons? It says on the Q that you can’t use it with another $ off total Q, but nothing about manufacturer coupons.

    • Patty

I ran into the same problem using this tonight as Kelly did… And I too used my Ready Fill $4 off $20 coupon as a back up. Clerk said the $5 off $25 could not be used until the 10th. Weird….

    • vana

      Rachel,
Try looking for a highlighted section (usually yellow) at the top of your browser window to see if it is asking permission to run active x control or add on. It probably is your security settings. Hope that helps.

    • kelli

I’m kind of glad to read that these aren’t supposed to work until the 10th. I was feel a little stupid for not using it on my shopping trip earlier this evening. Maybe I’ll be able to work out some good deals for Monday. :)

    • My CVS (Summerville, Main Street) told me that the $5 off $25 wasn’t valid until the 10th, but she called the manager over and she let me use it. My experience at this store has been very positive, the cashiers and managers go out of their way to help. I am pretty new at this…I started the week of the free photobooks and have gotten hooked. Thank you, Jenny, for your time and guidance. You have been a blessing to our family.

    • There is Naked Naturals shampoo and conditioner on sale – BOGO – plus it has “Try Me Free” stickers attached, (rebate to send in)!

    • Made my CVS run this morning…I was planning to get the Revlon colorstay mousse product because with coupon and ECB, I couldn’t refuse. Well, I did not look at the ad picture, so I’m wandering up and down the HAIR care isles, frustrated that I can not find this Mousse product! With 3 year-old in tow. Finally I asked the manager, who politely explained that Revlon does not make hair care products and she showed me the MAKE-UP! Anyway, here’s my deal for cheap diapers, but try it on Monday because the $5/$25 starts on Monday, although the same sweet manager went ahead and forced my through.

      2 packs Huggies diapers w/ 2 $1.50 Qs
      1 Revlon Colorstay Mousse w/ $1.00 Q
Total was $28 before Qs minus $4 Qs above and minus $5/$25 Q
Equals $19 then $14 ECB back
Makes the Revlon free and the diapers $2.50 per pack!
makes the diapers about $0.09 each for us

I was bummed that my store still has not restocked the school supplies or electrasol taht I have rainchecks for, but still a great trip!

    • ga

FWIW, any coupon can ve overridden by just about any CVS employee at any time, If there is a problem, ask for the shift supervisor or manager on call, if that doesn’t work, ask for the district manager”s phone number, the threat of that will instantly get results, the last thing a store wants is an unhappy customer calling the district manager. The DM will almost always give the customer much more than they were asking for as the customer base is very important to CVS right now

    • Shiloh Kennedy

I wish I had read comments on here prior to my midnight run last night. They wouldn’t let me use it either until the 10th. Now I am kicking myself for going ahead with the purchase anyway. Any possible way that I could go back tomorrow with my receipt and explained I tried to use last night (even though the coupon says nothing on it about only working after the 10th)?

    • Gayla

i went to use this today and my store manager had to override it as it said it wasn’t valid until the 10th, nothing on the Q said that but the computer said it.

    • Shiloh Kennedy

      Over all … good trip.

      Walked in with 6 ECBS…
      (2) Huggies Diapers 19.98
      (1) Copperstone Nutrashield 9oz. 8.99
      (1) Sharpie Highlighters 4 pack .99
      – (1) $5 off $25 or more
      – (2) $2.00 off Huggies
      – (1) $5.00 off Nutrashield
      – (1) $1.00 off Sharpie highlighters (free)
      – $6 ECBS
      OOP $8.97
ECB back : $6 (like paying 2.97 total)

    • Shiloh Kennedy

THEN…. I rolled that $6 ECB into the following purchase…

      (1) Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara 8.99
      (1) Cover Girl Exact Eye shadow 5.49
-(1) 2.50 off two CG products
      – $6 ECBS
      OOP $ 5.98
ECB back: $2.00 (like paying 3.98 for both)

    • Kam

I ran into the same problem with the $5 off $25, but the cashier was so nice and overrode it with no problem. I didn’t notice anywhere on the coupon that stated that it couldn’t be used until the 10th.

    • gretchen

I ran into the same issue, too! Glad I was not the only one. After I got home I read the coupon and it does not mention a “start date” anywhere, so that is VERY annoying!!!

    • libby

I had the same problem, but my cashier did not override it.

    • Sherry M

      Heather,
Yes, the facial skin product Q covers makeup! I used one of mine this afternoon. I purchased one of the 9.99 Revlon Mousse foundations that gives 9.99 in ECBs back (and used a $1.00 off Q) and a Neutrogena Foundation that had a shelf price of $11.99 but rang up for 9.99 before my $2 Neutrogena Q. The register still took off the $4.00 Q (I guess because of sales tax!) but make sure if you are that close that you give them the $4 off $20 Q FIRST before your manufacturer Qs or it will drop your total too much. Anyway, I got 2 foundations for $12.98 and got a $9.99 ecb back, so they bottom line was $2.99 + tax!!!

    • Robin

      Deann..
You probably need to check the exp. Date on your electrasol Q’s. I was holding mine waiting for them to restock untul my sister pointed out that ours expire TODAY!

    • Robin,

Yep, they expire today. Funny thing is, I don’t even use the product, but had told 3 friends that I could get them FREE electrasol. My big mouth. I was at my store at 7am (when they open) last week and they never had even 1 package at the start of the sale, then they get 1 truck per week and did not receive a single package that day. Love my friends, but not enough to drive around with 3 kids to hunt for free detergent. Oh well, next time I will have “bird-in-hand” before offering it up!

    • Christian’s Mommy

Is there anything I can do since my CVS doesn’t restock the school supplies very often either and this week they have that ecb deal?

    • Sally

The link took me to a blank page….is there any other way to get to the quiz?

    • kelli

Christian’s Mommy (#30) – you could try asking for a rain check, although I’m not sure how a rain check would work on a sale like that… you could cut out the part of the ad and keep it with the rain check so that when you could buy the items, you could show them for sure that the items were included. I always cut out the ad to put with my rain checks, just in case they try to screw with me, I can always just pull it out and say “no, look, this is the way it’s supposed to be.”

I had trouble a little while back when they had the sale that was buy 4 Soy Joys and $1 each, get $4 ECBs back (limit 5). The cashier kept telling me that that means that I could only buy 5 bars at $1 each and I kept telling him that that didn’t make any sense at all. I pulled out the ad and showed him and he still told me I was wrong. Finally he pulled his shift manager over and she told him that I was right.

My CVS and I have a love-hate relationship.

    • new at this

Check your email today…I got a 5 off 25 coupon that will only be good on Wed!

    • Nikki

I am getting a blank page too. :(

    • Christian’s Mommy

Thanks Kelli!! I have 3 stores within driving distance from my house. The one near my son’s daycare has the nicest cashiers but a bad manager. One of the others has the best manager but not so great cashiers. LOL, I guess a girl can’t have it all huh? I’ll try that and see how it goes.

Also, for those of you who got the free item of CVS batteries. If you wait until they have the B1G1 sales, you can actually end up with 2 free packages. I purchased 2, the 2nd rang up free from the sale, then I used my ECB coupon along with my other coupons and it made the other pack free as well.

      YAY!!

    • Joy

Just watch the expiration date on those “free item” things…they expire pretty soon!

    • Faith

CVS (as well as Target)have the Air Wick Freshmatics on sale for 5.99
ss 8/09 has two $4.00 off and one $6.00 off coupon for these.

    • I tried to use my coupon but wasn’t allowed I’m glad because I found a better deal

    • Just getting started with cvs. Can I use a manufacture’s coupon and a store coupon on one product?

    • Alice

Just making sure everyone saw the 40% off cvs brand pharmacy items online only. It ends 8/14. There are some great deals.

    • PencilSharpener

I watched the ad and answered the questions only to get a “We’re sorry. This coupon cannot be printed at this time. Please try again later” message.

    • Nick

I lucked out and they let me use the coupon before the 10th. Interested to know if anyone was able to use it more than once as I too.

Faith did CVS have the the Freshmatic i-Motion? I went to my target and they didn’t even stock it yet.

    • kelli

does anyone know if we can we use this coupon more than once?

also, does anyone know if we can use the coupons from the coupon book more than once?

    • Erin

I was not able to use the coupon more than once. I had printed two, but my second was rejected today. The registered said that the coupon had already been redeemed.

    • Just printed my $5 off $25.00 dollar purchase and found out it is only for their pharmacy customers. I do not use cvs pharmacy. Did anyone use this yet and have any trouble because they were not a pharmacy customer? Thanks

    • Misty

I am just getting started on the CVS .I have a 5 off 25 and no EBC’s yet. What is a good scenerio for me. To spend as less as I can and get some ECB.

    • Ting

it not allowed to use TWICE. even use different CVS card, because today i use it, and it shows that i did redeem on 8/10. then later on i ask my friend to use her cvs card to help me to buy something, still not working!!!!!!!(my friend didn’t use the coupon before!!) maybe cuz it printed all by my computer!!

    • Kazzandra

If you’re having trouble printing the coupon once it pops up (like I did) right-click and click print. The Print link wouldn’t work for me. Hope this helps someone.
