Bummer. I was hoping for some makeup deals this week!

    • Pranathi

I have a coupon from redplum for sparkle paper towels which says “Save $1 when you purchase two(2) sparkle paper towels 2 giant roll or larger” My question is will i be able to use this coupon for the 8pk which is on sale in CVS the coming week. Or do i have to buy 2 (8pk) to get this coupon? Can you please help me out with this

      • mommy2boys1983

You would need to buy 2 8pk’s, even though you could use it on a smaller size package.

    • Anonymous

I just got a $5 off $25 CVS coupon and nothing to spend it on!

    • sarahinNC

The $2 CVS Huggies coupon is not coming up for me on the CVS coupon site….I printed it out last month, could that be why?

Also, question:  I got a coupon from the magic red machine for “FREE Huggies diapers” bec. I bought the 6 required.  Can I stack this “free” CVS coupon with a manuf. coupon to get overage?  That would be nice if it worked!

      • Stacyannw

i have done it and it worked, i always give the man q first and then they will take the price of the diapers off later in the trasaction, and i think the cvs huggies q is the same one you printed last month but some may still have one laying around

        • sarahinNC

Thanks for the tip on giving the man. q first!

      • NewMommy2

I wish I wouldv’e known that you can’t mix & match the diapers. I have 3 Huggies towards the 6, and 3 Pampers towards the 6. Bummmmmer!!!!!

      • Amanda Gill88

At my cvs for the free packs u earned. I use the huggies $3.00 off, a cvs $1 off huggies, and the free cvs coupon. So i normally just get 2 packs for nothing. This week I Did 2 packs @ $8.99 a piece -$6(2 huggies $3 off),$2(2 cvs $1 off), $8.99( free pack)& i had a $1 ECBucks but
I just had .99 cents on the total so thats What she took off. All I paid for was the tax = $2.12

      • Anonymous

        I think it’s gone.

    • Billy

I don’t think the Pine-Sol deal will work…looks as though the 28oz is on sale but the MQ is for 48oz or larger.

    • Ali

The Rembrandt coupon is printing $2 not $3.

      • Erie

Mine also printed $2 not $3

    • The CVS store printable Huggies Q doesn’t show up…I’ve tried several different zips…any suggestions?

      • Stacyannw

it has been out of prints for about a month now, but she still puts it up their because some may still have them in thier coupon stash

    • Angelascoupons1

If you can find the new Reinventing Beauty Magazine, there are good deals using coupons from it.

There is a -$5 wyb $10 of GlaxoSmithKline Oral Care products.  Using the same deal idea Jenny listed, you could get  a Sensodyne Iso-Active and a Sensodyne ProNamel for 24¢ each.

There is also a -$3 Nature Made coupon that makes them 99¢ after coupon and ECB.

Finally, there is a -$3 Huggies coupon that doesn’t expire until 12/31/11.

They are in the database, so I’m not sure why they didn’t make it into the matchups.

      Hope everyone can find it!

    • tambry

The $3/1 Rembrandt printable is $2/1.  Thanks Jenny!

    • laura

I have $11 ECB to spend and nothing to buy.

I agree, not an exciting add at all.  Was going to get the Rembrandt tthpst on sale, but the Q is only for $2 off……oh well……I’ll save my $8 ECB’s and see what the following week’s ad looks like.  Thanks, Jenny!

    • Anonymous

      A very slow week!

    • Unfortunately, the $1.00 Colgate Optic White printable coupon expires on the 8th. So unless your store starts their sale the night before, out of luck. (Like I am)!

I’m happy about the Nabisco Oreo cookies and milk deal.  I was wondering why the Facebook $1 off wyb cookies and milk coupon wasn’t listed.

    • Staci_marie

I’ve been collecting $.55 Q’s for 2L Pepsi Max from the coupon spit-out devices.  I’m going to Rite Aid tomorrow, using 6 of them.  Will use the rest @ CVS next week.  $.99 – $.55 each – $.44 for enough 2L Pepsi Max to last my Hubby for a while.

      • NewMommy2

        They had them on Sale @ Publix last week 4/$5.00, With the .55/1 & $1/2 Publix coupon(was in Sunday’s paper) I bought 8 for $1.60 (.20 Each)

    • Anonymous

My CVS had a stack of the new beauty magazines and next to them was a huge stack of just the coupon inserts from the magazine for free! So I took two (was so tempted to take more but I didn’t!) So check out your CVS and maybe you will get lucky and not have to buy the .99 magazine! There are over $50.00 worth of Q’s but my fav is a $3.00 off ANY Huggies diaper good until 12/31.

      • Brenda

I wish our cvs had the reinventing beauty magazines-they say they never get them!

        • Destiny691966

Mine said they stopped making them…wish they would get it straight.

      • Michelledalton36

Is tha the name of the magazin, Reinventing Beauty? I glanced over some on my way out of CVS today and realized I don’t really know what I’m looking for …LOL

      • Anonymous

FYI the Huggies diaper coupon is a manufacturer, not a store coupon. But yes, it’s for ANY Huggies.

    • Anonymous

My ad shows the rembrant as “Save $3”, not “Sale $3”. I wish cvs wouldn’t do that, it’s confusing!

    • Scruff1977

Do you happen to know what the price will be on the huggies slip ons starting Sunday? I saw you posted they will be buy 1 get 1 fifty percent off but didn’t know if they would be 8.99 like this week or regular price. Thanks

      • Fallaya

The normal price at my store is $11.99.

        • Srhine85

At that price, it really doesn’t make for a good deal

    • Finally have a sunday to sleep in, cvs has been on a roll with the deals, glad they took a brake from it, save my $16 ECB for another future awesome baby deal. good luck to whoever needs it, if it’s like my area you gotta go in the middle of the night to have a chance at one deal, so unfortunately i do sometimes. happy couponing!!! :)

    • Mollieirene

Boooooooooooooooo>>>>>Not a good week at CVS. Maybe next week.

    • Stephanie H

Did anyone else go to print the $3 Rembrandt coupon and have it come out as $2?

      • Jmgregory_99

        yes mine was $2.

      • Carol_R

Same for me. No way am I paying for toothpaste these days with so many free offers and a $2 coupon makes it $1.

I guess I’ll be skipping CVS this week since there don’t seem to be any good deals. It’s ironic since they sent me in my email an $5/$25 coupon but I’ve got no good deals to use it with.

        • Yuliyaporter

I feel  the  same  way!!!  I could’ve  used  it  this  past  week (but, of course, by the  time  I  got  on Thursday, I  reached  all the  limits on all this week’s  deals!!!!!

        • Gingiraffe

Your $5 off isn’t good for this week but for next?  Mine says good through 10/9.

          • Carol_R

Mine expires on 10/10 – Monday. I’ve already did my deals for this week on Sunday, 10/2. I was planning on using the $5/$25 coupon for deals starting on 10/9 but there’s nothing I’m interested in buying at CVS for that week.

      • Destiny691966

        Same here…so disappointed   :(

      • Angela

YEAH, DISAPPOINTED, WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO SOME FREE TOOTHPASTE!

      •  Sure did. No biggie, though.

    • guest

Does anyone know where to find the link to a website in English for the ritz crackerfuls?  I am trying to use google translate, and it is slow going.

    • Crystalbushi

There is no way with the buy 4 snackwells deals to print enough $1/1 coupons for a free deal, at least I only had one come up for me, so that was 2 coupons.

      • Anonymous

people with more than 1 computer might be able to print more

        • shaina

or maybe photocopy it, if thats allowed

          • Carol_R

Photocopying is never allowed. That’s considered coupon fraud.

          • momto2boys

That would be like photocopying money….not allowed.  Sorry.

      • Anonymous

I guess if you printed 2 of one and 2 of another it would work.

    • Tashamaney

I have looked through my Upromise account and cannot find the Huggies coupon that is listed.  Any suggestions?  Possibly a different zip code??

      • CJ

If you use Savingstar and chose it there, it doesn’t show up on the Upromise account. Or that’s what I have found. HTH

        • Tashamaney

Thanks!  I do have savingstar and have selected it from that list.  I guess that is why its not showing up.

    • Bravo_coupons

The Rembrandt Toothpaste $3 off printable coupon is actually $2 off not $3.

      • Anonymous

i was just abt to post that.. i have never used this brand and thought i would try it if it were free.. $1 is just too much to pay lol..

    • NewMommy2

Is it me or does Walgreens have almost the same exact stuff on sale! Darnnnn it!!! Not excited about either store this week!

    • Anonymous

Well I guess I’ll be skipping CVS next week.

    • Steve

Why are there coupons listed that are NOT valid on the products? For example Jenny says use the Pine Sol coupon that plainly says 48oz+ on the 28oz which is WRONG!!!! The Rembrandt is NOT $3 it is $3 OFF REGULAR PRICE and the coupon is only $2. Everyone comes here reads this, prints the shopping list then proceeds to argue in the stores with cashiers because it is in black and white.

      • Mamadetres

Which is why she says to make sure and check your ads. She puts all of the coupon match-ups on there.  She does this for free and it is up to us to make sure we can do it where we live.  She is a person who is trying to do her best. She is not trying to make you use the wrong things.

        • Chris

Agreed!  Jenny is doing everyone a service by helping provide the info.  I don’t understand why some people think this is the end all and be all for a retailer’s ad – do some work, verify the info, and plan accordingly for your ad and area!  Sheesh!

          • Steve

I do my own planning and finding coupons when the ad comes out on Thurs. I come here to see if there are hidden or unadvertised deals that customers have found but you have to go thru too many posts about why doesn’t this work or where is this coupon.

            • Chris

Wow – you have to read through too many posts?  Maybe this was one of them perhaps?  Why not subscribe via email to the thread so then you get them a few at a time in your email and then you can read them and delete without having to actually visit the thread and sort through so many posts in one sitting?  And having too many posts to ready certainly isn’t Jenny’s fault – your complaint above just sounds a little bratty.  Everyone makes mistakes and with so many coupons, threads, ad information to post, and so on she’s bound to make a mistake (even, just maybe, a few every week).  Lighten up dude.

            • momto2boys

Then why not create your own error free blog?  I’m sure that would be an easy task….right?

            • Steve

Errors I can live with, listing a coupon that is not valid because of size restrictions is what I had an issue with and like I said before I have tried bringing it up politely and was still bashed.

            • Tammy

Steve I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere that the coupons are entered into a database which in turn auto-matches to the sales when they are entered at a later date.  They auto-match based on the name of the product, meaning that when the computer sees “pine-sol” all coupons out there for that particular product show up regardless of size or quantity.  This is why you sometimes will see a coupon listed for an incorrect size, etc.  It would be impossible for Jenny and her team to catch every one of these inconsistencies.  Jenny has been clear on numerous occasions to always make sure to follow the exact wording on the actual coupons. I have seen other websites out there who are not nearly as ethical.

Anyone who is arguing with cashiers obviously hasn’t been using this website for very long.  I can see how this could be frustrating to you, however, I don’t see how it could be avoided.  You stated earlier people tend to believe everything they read, but they also believe what they want to believe.  I work in customer service and have found that some people believe that if they argue they will get their way whether they are right or not.  Possibly they feel that since they have something on paper they can use this as “proof” to intimidate the cashier into giving them the price they want.

This post is not intended to criticize, though you original post did come across as rude, whether you meant it to be or not. This is purely another perspective to the issue.

            • Anonymous

Now that I’ve scrolled ALL the way through all this dramaaaa- I can continue on my journey to reading relevant posts. Thanks.

        • Steve

That is the point I am making, the Pine Sol coupon is not a correct match up and it’s not just that one it something every week then there are 100 posts with why the store refused them or it beeped. Just being honest!!

          • June

            Steve-you are outnumbered-ENOUGH!

        • Bellalisa3

she is not doing this for free..she makes a lot of money from this blog.

          • Would you? It’s still a big help to me.

          • Katarain

I sure hope she makes a ton of money from this blog.  She deserves it!

      • How about you obtain your own copy of the ad and figure it out for yourself every week, then? This site has been invaluable to me on my couponing journey. If you can’t take what’s provided and make it work for you, then that’s a real shame. Show a little appreciation! If there’s a mistake, by all means, mention it so others can be aware. We’re all here to help each other out. However, Jenny is incredibly busy, and she has her own life to attend to. She’s not going to be able to hold your hand every step of the way. If a mistake on the coupon match-ups gets you this upset, then maybe you should just take a step back and get your priorities straight. In any case, keep the ridiculous entitled attitude to yourself!

        • Steve

As I said I DO my own planning and figures but when I do point out a mistake I get all these rude replies saying you should know what Jenny meant…

        • lawman

Really… grow up already, the only comments I see that reflects a “ridiculous entitled attitude” is yours and the others who got so up-tight that Steve had the “audacity” to make an observation about this site.

Some people do in fact try to use the coupons that are listed under an item that they should not be used for, which in the long run ends up harming all couponers.

      • Thanks for pointing out the errors, covering 17 stores I always make errors (try not too, but it just happens).  I fixed all of them, so we are set now.  If you see others just keep leaving a comment and I’ll fix it asap.

        • Steve

Thanks and I understand it is easy to make a simple mistake but some people believe everything they read and every week I stand in line while someone argues that it is Southern Savers’ fault. Sorry if I offended anyone.

        • The prices in your Walmart and mine are not the same, so I don’t even bother PRINTING the list. But I do check it to see what might work. I used two of the Covergirl coupons for $8 off 2 face and got them for next to nothing (the blush was 4.23 in my area). The CVS is pretty darn close (except ours don’t stock very well for it). It’s all a big help, so THANKS!

          • Karen

Try Ulta on the Covergirl it was $3.99 & I  got 32 of them for free & no tax, however I had to do separate sales to use all my coupons. My family is planning to do gift bags for the Salvation Army & a few church ministries for Christmas .

            • Lauren

              Awesome!  Thanks for the tip!

            • I have never heard of Ulta, but got a sales flyer in my paper the other day. (I have only been doing this for about 3 weeks). So there must be one somewhere in my region, just not very close. Will look for a website and locations. Thanks.

        • Mvtdeals

          Jenny,
Thanks so much for all you do and your gracious response!  You do an excellent job and are such a huge blessing.  Thank you

      • AnnTaylor

Jenny is doing an excellent job!  If you get upset because you see errors, maybe you should try another site, I can tell you from experience, you’ll find errors there too!  Thanks Jenny for all you do for us to save money.

      • That’s why you double check it yourself BEFORE you print and buy.

      • Lisa

The same coupon can vary by region my coupon for where I live might be $3 off and yours might be $3/2.  I may have a coffee coupon in my flyer that you don’t.  It varies.  Everything here is a general guideline.  For the most part it will always be 95% accurate.

        • Steve

I wasn’t talking about regional coupons I was talking about the $3 printable that was actually printing out for $2 and thirty people mentioned it before me. And in no way was I blaming Jenny for that, she had no control what prints but I wanted to make sure she realized the Rembrandt was $3 off not on sale for $3 and to possibly mention the coupon might print for $2 instead of $3.

          • Anonymous

            Hey Steve- GO AWAY.

          • Anonymous

It very well could have been a THREE DOLLAR OFF COUPON when she posted it. But some companies limit the number of prints & once it hits that mark- some will completely remove the coupon, & some will DECREASE THE VALUE. Calm down dude.

        • Letty391

Yes, the coupon may vary by region but let’s be honest, it is suggested on this site that we use the wrong cuopons for the items. Let’s not be hypocrite.

          • Lizashan1024

She isnt printin every coupon and looking at the fine print. She is just showing you the ones that MAY match and you have to check yours and see if they do.

      • momto2boys

        Seriously!?!?

      • justsaying

you do realize this is just a guide to go by right, it will never be perfect, so take a look at it, get your sales paper out compare it and do some of the work yourself then you know what is going on in your store, everything varies from region to region

        • Steve

This has nothing to do with varying sales. The coupon listed was for the larger size and the Rebrandt was the wrong price. If Jenny was fine with me pointing out the issues why shouldn’t everyone else.

          • Chris

Because Jenny has to be PC for PR reasons.  The rest of us, on the other hand, don’t have to be so nice when someone posts a comment with ALL CAPS which indicates yelling and generally being rude.  If you’re getting behind someone who isn’t getting it right because they don’t realize they have to do some work on their own (and that this site isn’t the end all and be all for an ad) then why not offer to HELP THEM understand?  If we work together as a community then we can all come out ahead – like so many people I run into in the store who I give my extra coupons to so they can save some $$ with me on something it is, in the end, appreciated when you’re just a little nicer.  I admit – it’s frustrating when new couponers as the same questions over and over but you get past it and help when you can.

            • Anonymous

              You rock!!!!

            • Suzanne

I love you!…I always look forward to what the cowboy hat has to say!

      • I’m sure I’ll be jumped on for this, Becuz that’s all people do on here when given the opportunity.. But Honestly Steve was just pointing out some things.. And all of you jumped all over him.. Many times i have posted on here Coupons that are still out there or ones that didn’t work. Then all the sudden you get that person who says “well then do it urself” Sometimes yes it’s frustrating going through trying to make ur lists for hours and 10-20 things be wrong.. Most likely he said what all of you thought one time or another.. But i do agree with one thing that was said.. Everyone PLEASE try to help each other instead of getting all over each other… Yes Jenny and her helpers do a great service for all of us.. And we all Appreciate it… That doesn’t mean we can’t say what we want to say…

        • Phatpatswife

No he wasn’t just pointing some things out. “Everyone comes here reads this, prints the shopping list then proceeds to argue in the stores with cashiers because it is in black and white.” This wasn’t a friendly way of saying “oh hey you got a coupon or sale amount wrong” this was rude and unappreciative of the time it takes Jenny to do what she does for all of us every week for 17 different stores!

And when people say “do it yourself” it’s because noone should “come here and say what they want to say” when they aren’t doing half the work that she does to help them save money. There is a nice way of letting Jenny know that there is an error and there is a rude unappreciated way. The latter is what was used in this situation and there is no way that Steve can deny that with the attitude eminating from his post.

      • Anonymous

Your rude and accusatory tone is not necessary. We help each other here rather than point fingers. K?

        • June

          I so agree Irene!

      • not kidding

this is a guideline.  you are supposed to look at the coupons you have and figure out if they will work with the item.  additionally, sometimes a coupon is available, but overlooked or not posted when the list goes up.  that’s not her fault either.

      • Steve

Let me begin by apologizing to everyone I offended. When I put “wrong” in all caps that was let me see… ummm wrong because it did seem as I was yelling. But the other things I capitalized was only to bring attention to the item that others had already posted about earlier. As I said I do apologize to Jenny and her team for any rudness or ungratefulness. As for as me going away I just can’t do it I love this sight too much, but I will only post positive and usefull information for now on, sorry everyone!!

        • C~~

No problem Steve.  You didn’t offend me personally, I understand you were trying to help everyone here.  Now back to couponing.  Lol.
          ~ Have a good day.  :)

      • Quilhil

I did not read my coupon for the pine sol but did the deal today and used the q’s without any beeps.  No problem.  Hope the q police don’t arrest me. jk lol

    • Nvrenf

the Zegerid coupon in the 08/07 SS expired on the 2nd…..

      • Nvrenf

okay… might be one in the 10/09 SS for $6

    • jennylaguna

    • Lauren

      • RachelBlandford

If only they were for $1! :(

    • Michelle

Jenny…I know it’s been said many times before but I just wanted you to know how very much I appreciate all the time and attention you put into your matchups.  Yes, from time to time there are errors but that’s life.  Nobody is perfect!  I appreciate your integrity, your thoroughness and your graciousness.  You are a wonderful, Godly  woman who’s heart is certainly in the right place.  I can tell you truly just want to help others save money.  Thank you for all the work you do…please don’t let the nay-sayers get you down.  There are FAR MORE of us who need this site every week and rely on it to save our families money and for me, personally, don’t have the time or patience to put all of this together!  LOL!  YOU’RE A GOD-SEND!!

      • Kati3878

I agree. Jenny thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do. :) You make couponing so much easier for us. I have looked at other couponing sites, but SS is by far, the most user friendly and detailed site that I have found. Thanks a bunch!! :)

    • Michelle

Just got back from CVS and the 2L Pepsi isn’t on sale here in Texas so the deal won’t work.  Must be a regional sale :-(

      • its the 2liter cokes here also…lame!! LOL

    • on the Pronamal Deal there was an insert in the cvs stores with a $5 wyb $10 of this stuff. That makes a great deal.. They were near the Coupon machine…

    • Gpalmer667

Does CVS allow coupons for both items in a B1G1 deal like Publix does?

      • Moodycow1

        yes

    • CSat

Enough with the bickering. It’s using valuable space on this thread that someone may be posting an unadvertised deal that I don’t wanna miss out on :-)
Mainly, we all just need to keep in mind that this is a FREE site that we aren’t paying to use.  Jenny does this for free for all us to save $ for our families.  If we were paying her for this service then by all means complain.  But we aren’t so be nice or move on.

      • Tigerfan

We do pay her every time me post, the more posts, the more she makes!

        • Tigerfan

oops meant every time WE post, oh well more $$$

          • guest

I wondering how do you know she gets paid?  I hope she does, because I know she spends alot of time on this.  I spend alot of time just getting my plan together for a few items with her help.  I would not do all this work for nothing, so I hope she does get paid alot.

            • Tigerfan

Read the Disclosure Policy on this page.

      • Ginger

Well said Csat, people forget how much work she has to put into all this.  Just getting my coupons together is works but without these tips it would be much more so.  Thanks Jenny for all you do

    • Just got back from CVS, although there wasn’t much this week I still had a good time :) I bought the pur absorb iron and Natures made fish oil. There is a 2 dollar coupon inside the pur absorb Iron supplement box with no expiration date so it will be good when it’s on sale again.

    • Wethedeans

Did everyone get a 5dollar coupon in the mail for a 5 dollar gift card when you go “meet” the pharmacy staff? Well, I did, and I thought it was for IF you do a new prescription. I was at CVS yesterday and watched as a woman went to the pharmacy counter and merely asked a question about the cost of a med, then whipped out her coupon and got a 5 dollar gift card. WOW, I almost threw mine away. I’m definitely going to go meet the pharmacy staff.

      • not kidding

i have met my pharmacy staff, and they seem to be quite nice.  i don’t use their pharmacy because on MORE than ONE occasion (practically every time i took a prescription in there), they either didn’t have the meds (had to order) or only 1/3 or 1/2 of the number of pills prescribed.  I didn’t find out until i went back to pick up the prescription (no phone call to let me know).  that meant a 2nd trip to get the prescription.  they could send me a coupon for $50 to meet their staff, and i still wouldn’t use their pharmacy.

There used to be tons of offers for car test-drives at dealerships. Most of the time, if you tell them you’re there for the offer, they don’t bother with the actual drive. I think they make these offers are so you can be aware of their products.

        • Juneandarb

did on at Ford recently for $50  They dd not mke me drive the vehicle fo h code I neded  :)

I’m replying to myself. I scored on ECBs tonite, went in, met my pharmacist and she gave me the 5 dollar gift card. Then I hit the red machine and it gave me a 5 dollar ECB for the beauty club thing. Now I have 15 ECBs! (pat on the back)

    • Shopgirlmgr

to help out the M & M Prtzels are not included in the sales ad they ring up 4.19 a bag i talked to the manger she showed me the ad its only the candys pictured in the ad and those are not one of them . thought i let you all know if you was going to get them on the good deal with the coupons .it makes them 2.49 if you use the 1.00 off and the 50 cent off thats printing at the machine .. not a good deal . just thought i let you know so you didnt hassel with it.

      • busymom2

Actually you have to look for the harvest bags I believe. I had the same issue last week with the m+m deal. They do have the m+m pretzels in the harvest bag for 2/$5 deal if you can find them, they were in a different area, by the front of the store.(The ones that did not have the harvest scene on the bag did ring up for 4.19 at my store too.) Good luck with this one…

        • Anonymous

The harvest bags are actually larger, too!

        • Chris

Yeah I found mine in the candy aisle with the rest of the Halloween candy.  And they were all on sale (although very few bags were left yesterday).  Was a great deal after coupon and ECB!

        • Anne

They were out of the harvest bags last night at my store, so the clerk there told me they would substitute the regular bags that were on sale for $2.50, so that I could get the $5 ECB when you buy $12, and she would just print the  $5ECBs.  So, I ended up getting the $5 ECBS from last week, and the $3 ECBS for this week.  Also, I had 3 of the .50 off from the red machine and (5) the $1.00 off for 5 bags, and ended up paying $6, and getting back $8 in ECBS. $2 money maker!!! I love CVS!!!

      •  I got them this morning and they rang up just fine 2/$5.. Might just be in that store..

      • Mel

They ring up for me got 4 bags this mornng for 2.50  a piece.

      • Ginger

The M & M Pretzels were included at my store, you have to get the right size though

    • Libbymichalik

I am trying to get the coupon for Club crackers but it isn’t coming up for me from the link.  Is it just me or am I doing something wrong?

    • Tabi

My CVS is saying that now to recieve ecb’s, for instance on the Gillette deal, you have to spend  $30 AFTER coupons!! I saw this happen to the man ahead of me in line today. He had $30 worth of razors and then handed over the coupons. At the end of the transaction, he didn’t get his ecb’s and the clerk said he didn’t spend $30 because of the coupons! I asked about it when it was my turn in line and she said it was new policy?? Any one else heard anthing like this??

      • Anonymous

Uh-oh. If thats true, my scenario for the week is out the window. Hopefully, someone can confirm it’s not true!

      • ericswifeowensmom

sounds like a case of a mistaken cashier to me.

      • swirlypop

Never heard of that. I think the cashier was mistaken.

      • Chris

Sounds like a call to Corporate Customer Service is in order.  I was just in the store yesterday and got all of my ECBs without issue (Austell, GA on EW Connector for those of you in the area) based on the before Q total.  Not including my cigarettes (yes I know – please don’t flame me) I actually made $4 on the transaction after getting ECBs back.

        • Anonymous

Hey Chris, you’re pretty much an expert, so I have a question.  I went today to get the $5 ECB on a $10 Sensodyne purchase.  The ECB didn’t print (the cashier and I think it was because I picked up one of the wrong ‘flavors’), but he just printed one for me anyway, which was nice.  However, when I got home, I noticed that the ECB he printed me has a different EC card number on it — not mine.  I think he just scanned the one they have at the register for people who don’t have cards.  Is this going to be a problem for me when I try to use the $5 ECB with my card??  I’m thinking it will be an issue…..

          • Phatpatswife

When they have to manually print an extrabuck it doesn’t always match the card. It might beep but just point out to the cashier that it was a manually printed extrabuckbecause it will say at the top something along the lines of “we’re sorry your bucks didn’t print” or something like that. I am a cvs cashier and also an avid couponer so trust me, you should be ok.

            • Chris

Boy you’re faster than I am!  Yeah I was going to say the same thing but I would also add that if you have trouble you could call Corporate Customer Service and explain what happened and they can probably just attach the ECB to the correct card OR have it print again specific to your card when you next scan at the coupon machine.

I had this happen when I switched cards (they sent me a new one as part of my company benefit program – I get 20% off all CVS-brand stuff now with that card).  I had a $1 ECB still left from the original card and they said they tried but the system wouldn’t transfer it so it was just gone.  Thankfully it was just $1!

            • Stephanie

              Awesome.  Thanks, y’all!

            • Phatpatswife

LOL! I just happened to be sitting here catching up on the posts when I saw it. Haha!

          • Steve

That always happens when they manually print an ECB, the computer drops the last digit from your card number. If you look it will match the numbers before that and it will not beep when you use it.

      • Tabi

I figured it was a mistake but I hate to be confrontational and if my ecb’s don’t print when I go later today, I’m gonna have to insist to see that “new policy” in writing. :)

        • Amanda

My ECB’s didn’t print for the Gillette deal, I’d purchased a Gillette fusion razor for $12.99 and a packet of Gillette fusion blades for $18.29. I noticed on the bottom of the receipt where it keeps a running total for the deals that it’d only counted the razor towards the deal. Showed it to the cashier and she happily printed out my ecb’s for me. sometimes the computer at cvs can be a bit touchy – the Gillette deal was one of three deals today that rang up wrong for me!

      • Chrissy197729

I work for CVS in Florida and have heard of no such thing..  I know every state has different rules on different things but have not heard of that here…

      •  need to look at the bottom of the receipt, if it says you reached the goal then you should get ur ECBs

        • guest

Check the bottom of your receipt to see if you met the limit to get the ECBs.

    • Anonymous

Fun week for me — lots of ECB deals to play with. Wheeeee!

      • RachelBlandford

I received the Q but wasn’t sure if it counted for toothpaste which was all I had time to pick up this morning. I’ll have to check through the deals and see if I can find something to use it on.

    • ericswifeowensmom

does anyone know the count on the nature made fish oil that qualifies for the ECB and the 7.99 price?

      • You can buy any of them that have 60-250 count, they all ring up as 7.99 I bought the 250 count :)

        • Anonymous

If you enter the product codes at naturemade dot com, you can earn $7 Qs quickly. That’s what I’ll be using with the sale, so it’ll be a $3 mm after the ECB! :)

          • ericswifeowensmom

            awesome! thank you

          • Linda

Where do I get the product code?

            • Anonymous

On the products, there’s a green rectangle with eight digits stamped on it. They are unique so you’ll enter each as you purchase.

        • Anonymous

The 250 count is an amazing deal — regularly $19.99! It beat the pants off of the regular BOGO sales!

    • Teedlesp73

I’m in the Chattanooga TN  area.  Does anyone know how much the Purex is with the BOBO? Or does anyone know if they have the Purex with Zout?  I want to know if I would get a better deal at  CVS or Food Lion.

    • Fallaya

Kinda bummed…my local store didn’t have ANY packages of Sparkle paper towels, which totally messed up my scenario (which included a 5/25 coupon)…sigh…yet another raincheck!

    • Andrea

I believe there is a $2 Similac Q in Smart Source today.  I’m hoping that it can be applied to this sale.  I haven’t seen the inserts yet so I might be mistaken.

      • C~~

The coupon for Similac is for $2.00 off any Similac product.  Hope that helps.

    • Steve

Buy 3 of the .99 greeting cards for $2.97 get a $3 ECB back!

      • I bought a B-day card today and was so Confused on my receipt when I saw that… It’s an Awesome deal!!!

        • C~~

And don’t forget about your coupon for a Free 2-Liter Bottle of Dr Pepper Ten, in today’s Smart Source, exp 11/21.  I believe you could use this anywhere.  Can’t wait to try it.  :)

          • My stores didn’t have any … :(

          • Mrscori2006

I’ve tried it and it is pretty good. Tastes more like regular Dr. Pepper

    • RachelBlandford

      Jenny,

On the sensodyne deal – you can actually stack the coupon from the reinventing beauty magazine with the printable $1 coupons. The Q in the mag is for $5 off $10 worth of glaxo oral products. I was able to buy 4 sensodyne’s with 4 $1 Q’s and 2 $5 Q’s and get my $10 in ECB. After tax & the 2 mag’s its a slight money maker.. but even making less then a dollar on 4 products is good by me :)

The mag has reese witherspoon on the front and its only .99 so its definitely worth it. We found it at the front of the store near the registers. If anyone has a problem combining this Q with the Man Q’s just flip to the front of the coupon part it specifically states these are CVS Store Coupons.

      •  mine was a Manf. Coupon (the $5/$10)

      • MEL

You should have not been able to do that. There all man Q’s.

        • ericswifeowensmom

the way i understand these coupons is the $5/$10 is a manQ but it attaches to the price ($10+) and the other manQ’s $1/1 and $1/1 attach to the individual items.

I went to CVS after church to get two newspapers and scan my card. The store was empty. I was the only shopper. EERIE!

      • Anonymous

i love being the only shopper! it doesnt make me feel so silly for spending 10 minutes trying to figure out which nail polish color or lipstick to buy during the revlon deals! =)

    • FYI: CVS Huggies diaper coupon is gone from CVS website. That is the only thing that would make that price acceptable:(

    • Hmm.. Im trying to figure out if the diapers is a great buy. I have one of the CVS coupons, it printed at the machine for me. And with the saving star I can get $5 off each one. Soooo…. if only I could remember what the regualer price is in the store. Im thinking Like $11? So That would make them like $3.25 a piece :) Hopefully that’s right, Im not a huge fan of the slip on diapers, but I’ll get over it for that price!

      • Soccerswimchick

        Huggies are $11.99 right now.

      • Ginger

The slip on diapers were priced at 11.98 bogo half price so two packages of diapers without coupons would be 17.97.  I got these yesterday and used two $3.00 off mfg coupons that were found in the cvs beauty invention book and the $3.00 off that printed at the machine so I got two bags for diapers for 8.97 which I thought was a great deal.  I get them for my grandaughter

    • Ashley

My CVS let me use the $1 off of 1 sparkle paper towels 6 big rolls on the 8 count that is on sale this week, I think the coupon came out within the past two weeks.

Also, in the store and in my sales ad, I can’t find anywhere where it says this deal — $1 ECB WYB (4) Keebler Crackers, Nabisco Cookies or Crackers, 4-8 oz, $1.25 ea. LIMIT 1

Can someone point me in the right direction of where I could find this sale?!?

      • Katie

Page 3 in the middle- there is a picture of Cheese-its, oreos, nutter butter and laura doones. :) The ECB is for the single serve ones for everything but the cheese-its. (Not sure size on cheese its)

    • Perkinstheman

our CVS dont have the pepsi products on sale we have the coke products for .99
      i was very dissapointed :(

    • Amie

All the CVSs in my town only honored the Gain and Tide LIQUID detergents last week at the sale price and not the POWDER.  I found this out trying to use my $2 off Tide and Gain powder coupon.  Was told this was regional…Apparently, that included the CVSs in my town.  So disappointed.

    • Ginger

I bought Centrum Silver vitamins for women today on sale for $6.99, had a coupon for $2 off, plus Extra Rewards for $3.00 from last week which made them 1.99.  Great deal!

    • Cross2stitch2003

My CVS has their coke products for .99 not the Pepsi products.

    • guest

I have 2 of GLAXO $5 OFF ON $10 from REINVENTING BEAUTY MAGAZINE. I would love them to exchange with 4 of CREST $2 OFF COUPONS from 9/11SS .If anyone intrested plz send an e-mail to pelli.apa@gmail.com .Thank you.

what was the best way you used the $3 off $10 make-up deal??

      • Simpliepie

I used mine in conjuction with the $5 off 2 Almay that came from the red box- b/c Almay is already Buy 1 get 1 50% off- and you could use 2 off the almat coupons that are on the back of the walmart ad.

        • Anonymous

Some products on shelf displays have $2 or $3 peelies on them as well!

    • Fgavent

My CVS store has the Pepsi products on sale for .99.  Does anyone know if Sierra Mist is included?  Wanted to use the 1/2 c from Pepsi Moments to Save.

      • Deecheers4rv

        Yes it is

    • Ivy

Last week I got a $3 off covergirl mascara coupon from the coupon machine. This week I got a $3 off $10 beauty purchase. So yesterday I bought CG mascara and CG lip gloss which were each 7.49. I used the $8/2 CG products from 10/2 PG and both CVS coupons. I was only out of pocket a little over $1 for both items!!

      • pcarmi

I did the same thing but bought 4 products, using 2 of the $8/2 CG coupons and combined them with a $4 off $20 sent to me by email! 1 mascara, 2 eyeliners, 1 lip product was just under $24 minus $4/$20, minus $3/$10 cosmetic, minus $3/CG mascara, minus 2 $8/2 equals $26 in coupons which leaves over $2 of overage for other products…YAY!!

      • Misty

The CoverGirl $8/2 coupon was only to be used on face products (i.e. foundation, powder, concealer, bronzer, blush).

        • Anonymous

my mom sent me this coupon in the mail and understood it to mean foundation etc also..  walmart usually has the basic covergirl items pretty cheap if anyone else has this coupon and find cvs higher priced on covergirl items.

    • ncsaver46

I am new to CVS shopping and need some help.  I just went to my local CVS and bought 2 Sensodyne toothpastes for $5.99 each.  I had $11.98 before coupons and $9.98 after using 2 coupons. for $1 on each item. I did not receive the $5 ECB for my purchase.  The clerk informed me that it must be $10 total spent before tax.  Is that right?

      • Teedlesp73

Usually the total in order to get the ECBs is before coupons.  So if your total would have been $11.98 before coupons so you had enough to get the $5 in ECBs.  See the DEAL IDEAl above.  The after coupon total was $8.48 but before coupons was $10.48. So it would qualify for the ECBs.

      • Anonymous

Call customer service at 1-800-SHOP-CVS if your local store will not honor the deal.

    • Phonebookqueen

Question I received a 10% off your next beauty purchase that is only good for three days and want to use this coupon any suggestions that would make good use of this coupon thanks

      • Staci_marie

It should list the product types it is good for.  I just used one.  Cosmetics, Ethnic Hair Care, Fragrances, Hair Accessories, Hair
Appliances, Hair Care, Hair Color, Healthy Skin Care, Hosiery, Skin Care
and Sun Care.  That should be the list…

I paired it with a 10% off beauty care coupon, and 2 $1 off Cover Girl (any CG product) for a CG lipstick & gloss.  It was 50% off the 2nd item also.  Much of CVS makeup is 50% off the 2nd item this week.

    • Guest

Just received an email with a $3 off any $10 beauty purchase YAY…plus $2/1 Dial and $1/1 caress….Be on the look out!!!

    • Dwilson19

    • Kaylakeck

I would really like some covergirl 8/2 coupons. Of anyone has some and wants to trade that would be great. I have pretty much any other coupons and maybe several of a kind. Email me kaylakeck@yahoo.com

      • Michelle

Good luck with that one…that coupon is WAY too hot for most people to wanna trade.

    • Shesqueeks

Isn’t there also a dial lotion or soap coupon out there. I can;t seem to find it.

      • Em

I found $1.00 off lotion manufactures coupon on the Dial Facebook page and got $2.00 off CVS store coupon in my email today. Hope that helps!

    • Freeforme

I can not find the $1/2 Lipton tea coupon that is supposed to be in ss9/11 am I overlooking it or has anyone else had a hard time finding it?

      • Laura

Sometimes the coupons aren’t the same for all areas.

      • CouponGal

If you are in Columbia, SC (The State paper), we got it.  It’s on the bottom half of a page with Cottonelle at the top.  HTH.

    • Staci_marie

Just bought 2 Cover Girl lip products @ buy 1 get 1 50% off.  Got a lip stick @ $6.79 and a ‘gloss balm’ @ $7.49.  The gloss balm didn’t trigger the 50% off promo, so the manager entered it manually.  I had a 10% off beauty products coupon from joining the beauty club – since he entered one item manually, it only took 10% off the other.  So he manually entered that discount.  Also had  $3/10 beauty products and $1×2 manufacturer coupon.  OOP $4.39 including tax.  Looking at the receipt – I think he took too much off.  But didn’t realize it at the register, and a line was forming…

And once I got back to work, I remembered I meant to buy 3 birthday cards while there, and get the $3 ECB.  Forgot all about it.  Will need to stop back in CVS tonight or tomorrow.  (Need one of the cards by Saturday.)

    • Becky Spence

Does anyone know how often they put the baby formula on sale for $19.99. My newborn is on soy and with my $5q it makes the large can 50% off. I am stocking up but wondering if I’ll have the chance again later??? Thanks!!! Becky in Cola, SC
