For the beauty club when u reach the $50 Mark & earn ur $5 ecb , does it print at the register or the coupon machine? Does nail polish go towards the beauty club?

      • Sag0907

Takes about 2 days and prints wherever you scan first–at machine or register. Yes, nail polish counts.

      • ab

Per CVS, it will reset on 12/31, so get to $50 tom or Sat if you are close!

      • Also, I found out the amount of the product (before coupons) goes towards the $50.  I found a bunch of items a few days ago that were 50-75% off and was hoping the original price went towards it but it didn’t.  I’m short $1.10.  Guess I better buy some beauty products by tomorrow!

      • Tristansmommy120910

I would think that it does count but I’m not sure. After you spend the $50 it takes up to 48 hours for it to register and you can get the coupon 1 of 3 ways. 1. Print it at red box when you scan your card 2. It’ll print at the end of your receipt or 3. Check your online account and you can print it from your pc.

    • Amanda Gill88

U can normally find it in the make up area.

      • Amanda Gill88

Thats the beauty Magazine iam talking about.

    • Pieri

Does anyone know where to get the coupons for CVS prescription transfer giftcard offers? i have been looking for a while… Thanks!

      • Shaina O’Dell

They only offer those on occasion.

      • Scrappingramma5

I believe they give you ecbs after a certain amount of presc filled. Not sure of details as it is too far for my meds. Walgreens is 1 block away. Sometimes I consider flipping them around for deals but then my records are spread all over.

    • Calhoun220

If you use Savingstar, there is a $2 ecoupon for $2 on 12 pack of Pepsi

      • Mary

Unless your offer is different from mine, it says

        Save $2.00 when you buy two (2) PEPSI® Product 12 oz. can 18-packs, 20-packs or 24-packs”

    • Saviorbucks

Thank you CVS-Rivergate coupon angel! I really needed that diaper coupon you left today- it made my day!

      • jbu

I’m wondering who you are because I shop at the Rivergate CVS also. :-) :-)

    • Girlspice2u

I guess I’m missing the point of doing five separate transactions in the scenario idea.  Can’t you do just two transactions buying the items from the first four transactions and use all those ecb’s for the last transaction? You end up with the same total out of pocket and remaining gift card. Five transactions just seem to be a lot of work for the same result.

      • wendyc33

I would say if the total amount spent comes out the same then do it your way. She has this many transactions to get you the less out of pocket. Some people prefer to do it all in one transaction.

      • Just4yall

Yes the way she has it set up is kinda strange, Also it has only 4 transaction. She skipped #4 when she wrote it going from 3 to 5.

      • Scrappingramma5

We can go by these scenerios 100%. I love their layout and how it prints but sometimes the linked coupons are not the item on sale. So always double check the ad and coupon. I always do 1 transaction and carry over to the next trip. My CVS lets use use ECBs that are mildly expired. So I dont stress with possibly losing the value of one. If I break up transactions it is to get a total amount and then add to it if necessary. And I always let other customers go ahead of me if they have been waiting.

    • Anonymous

Does anybody know if it will trigger the $5 ECB if I just buy two of the Nivea body washes for $4.88 a piece? The total will come out to $9.76 or will I need to buy one of the lip care to go with it? Thanks!

      • wendyc33

that total doesnt sound close enough to me for it to print. I know sometimes if its within a few pennies it will. you could ask them also before you ring it up.

      • Pinkchick82686

CVS is great.  IF it is .40 or closer it should print.  I have always had a manager print it for me if it doesnt but usually it does on its own

      • ericswifeowensmom

it’s a 98% rule. If the total is at least 98% of the required amount they will automatically print.

    • Katiernelson

Has anyone found the ‘Booklet in select P&G products?’ If so, which products or is it random? Thanks!

      • Lauramichelledriscoll

I got a booklet in a box of pampers once.  I picked that box because it said “$35 in coupons inside!”

      • Kerry72nc

I got a packet of q’s one time in a big pack of Duracell batteries. They put them in random products.

      • Trace04210625

There’s one in duracell batteries at my cvs

      • Amber, NC

I saw it advertised on a product’s box in Walmart once. All of the boxes had been ripped open and the coupons stolen!

on the benefiber sticks, you have a $2 off any benefiber product, but failed to list where the coupon is available. is it on the product? or in one of the ss or rp? thanks for all the help.

      • Kellielliott

It is a printable coupon on coupons dot com.  I printed 2 off this morning, but I’m not sure what zip I used.

      • wendyc33

check her database. or over on coupons dot com

    • ks

Last time I tried to use the $2 off a benefiber product and it was on sale for less than $2 the manager said they couldn’t take a coupon for more than the product price and they couldn’t reduce it down.  Anyone else had this problem?

      • wagner2011

They will have to adjust the coupon down to 1.67, making it free. You just wont receive overage. If walmart carries the trial size, you can always price match there & they will give you overage :)

      • The Walgreens coupon policy states the following:

The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value). You may want to print off the coupon policy and take it with you to the store.  :)

        • Mcleodsc

          we are talking about CVS

          • Sorry! I just updated my comment.  :)

      • Mcleodsc

I had the same problem last time. I am in Sumter, SC.
The cashier refused to adjust the coupon down-I was NOT expecting to get overage. I politely asked her to remove the benefiber from my order. I do not argue-I just use the coupon elsewhere or trade it with someone that has a CVS that will reduce a coupon.

    • Trace04210625

I have a great plan. If I figure right, I should get $20 quarterly extra bucks on the 1st of January. I plan to take that $20 and combine it with my 3 pampers coupon. I have three $5.00 off coupons for pampers diapers. I plan to buy 3 cases for 18.99 and use my $20.00 extra bucks and $15.00 in coupons. This means I will get 3 cases of diapers for roughly $20.00. Also pampers diapers are part of the gift card deal. I will only be a few dollars shy of getting 2 gift cards. If I buy one other item from the gift card promotion, I will get two $10.00 gift cards, making my 3 cases of diapers virtually free

      • mari

awesome! where did you get the $5 off pampers q’s??

        • Kcroxburycoupon

Same question here! Trace please let us know how/where to get the $5 coupons so we can get this deal too!

      • Scrappingramma5

also wanting to know about the $5 q…was it with the Pampers reward program? Problem may be when you get the quarterly ecbs. I am not sure but I think we wait a few weeks before they total them and reward us. Are you talking of he 2% of sales program? right?

      • Trace04210625

I emailed the pampers company and asked for the coupon and they mailed them to me. I got them a month or so ago and they do not expire until march. It’s amazing how many good deals you can get by emailing your favorite companies and asking for them. I hope the quarterly extra bucks print, if not that screws up my whole plan. The signs say the start printing Jan 1st. Well see

        • Kcroxburycoupon

Thanks so much for the info! I hope the ECB print for you!

    • Would you agree that some of these can’t be used if they are sales starting on 1/1?  Some coupons listed expire on 12/31 so if the store won’t let me get the sale items until 1/1 then I miss out on that right?  Benefiber is the example.

      • Julie Avant

Some stores begin their sales on Saturday evening. mine starts at 6:00pm. If I go in after 6:00 on Saturday I can shop both weekly ads at the same time. Check with your local store to see if yours does.

        • Gmcouponer

Yes that’s true it is the same here in Tn. also.

        • Scrappingramma5

but do the ecbs also work? On sat night for Sun ad?

          • Julie Avant

Yes. If I shop Saturday after 6 I get the ECBs for both Saturday’s and Sunday’s ad. The store still has to honor Saturday’s ad since it’s technically still Saturday but the register is already programmed for Sunday’s ad so you will get those deals too. Plus, the store usually already has the tags out for Sunday’s ad. So if for some reason the ECBs don’t print, you can always reference the tag on the item and they’ll print them for you. Double check with your store before shopping. I had no idea mine did it, the cashier actually volunteered the information to me. Also, if you’re ever in doubt about a product you can always scan it at the coupon machine before checking out. It will tell you the price and the ECB rewards.

      • LadyB

I was told at my store that they would honor coupons one day after exp

    • Just4yall

Great timing! I just got 10 coupons for free powerade in the mail from mycokerewards. I am going to turn that into 6 for $10 coke products since we have been out for about a month now.

      • Just4yall

Oh btw that is for next week not this week.

      • Viv

how did you get the coupons from mycoke rewards? I would love to get those.

    • Products81

I hope the prices are right on the pantene, I will stock up on this item, since this is the only item we use, so it will last for months till next q insert come around. (which i dont know when that is,havent been doing couponing long enough to have the q insert cycle down yet :/

      • It’ll be only about 6-8 weeks depending on where you live.

      • It seems like there is always deals on Pantene.

    • easley54

question? when you use a 5.00  off 20.00  coupon from the red machine its got to be 20.00 after other coupons, so if it is a 5,00 rerards coupon on my card off 25.00  it also will be after my other coupons ? I,ve used these before but since it was during Christmas shopping each time it was over 25.00.

      • It should be before coupons, I have found this is where the order you give the cashier your coupons, ecb does matter.  After total give the coupon off, then manufacturer/store q, then ecb then pay.  This has always worked for me, in this order.  Good luck1

    • fraffert1

Can you use a $10 gift card on an order and get another $10 gift card back?

      • Tiff715

        yes

        • fraffert1

Thanks! Ohh can you use coupons on the items and pay less than $30 and still get the $10 card? Like I wanted to get 10 Always for $30. Ust 10 $1.00 of q’s=$20 and then get the $10 gift card back. So 10 packs for $10. Will that work?

          • Isu2014

The total must be $30 before coupon, then you can use coupons to bring the total down. You will have to do it in separate transactions because you can only use 4 like coupons from P&G.

          • Scrappingramma5

yes in addition to what isu2014 says when you do the separate transactions they will keep adding up and when you reach the $30.00 in that ad period then you can get the GC. It prints out and then make sure the cashier immediately give you the GC. I waited 1 time and it was exp by 1 day and they couldnt redeem it. I was out of town the day i went and didnt realize It hadnt been turned into the gift card. And you can do this 5 times and they can add the additional $10.00 to the same GC if you want. Good luck to you.

    • Aamakeuplady2

so I must be an idiot, but I can’t figure out how to get the recycle bank coupon for tuna

      • Products81

I may be wrong, but I saw that q and the one for bottle waterb1g1,and they are no longer avl. from what im seeing..

      • newbie

what is recycle bank and how do you get to the section with coupons?

        • Scrappingramma5

you earn points by watching videos and answering questions. then when you have enough points you turn them in under rewards section..i think,. for coupons or other choices. That q may be unavailable though…

      • Mcleodsc

the coupon is no longer available

    • glenda

Went to CVS today and got 4 big bottles of Pantene shampoo for $2.00 each …I love my couponing hobby!

    • Valley

Just wondering if this would work:
I have $13 in ECB to start.
      2 Pantene @ $3.33, 2 Dawn .99, 1 paper    $4, 1 batteries @ $5.99, 1 Herbal Essence @ $3.33, and 2 Charmin   $5.49. Total: 32.96. Use the $13, and coupons, and get $10 CVS gift card.
Next, use the gift card for 2 Nivea body washes and 1 Nivea lip balm
to total $11.16.  Get 5 ECB.
Use the $5 ECB for 3 Pepsi 12 packs, and get $2 ECB, plus $2 Savings Star.  Can I use the ECB for the Pepsi since I’m getting ECB for it?

      • Gmcouponer

Yes you can use ECB to pay on things that print ECB

        • Valley

Thanks!  Don’t want to hold up other shoppers!!!

          • Tristansmommy120910

Not sure if this was a typo but you said you were going to buy 1 Nivea lip balm. I just wanted to point out if you got the coupon today for $3/2 you might as well pick up 2 of them its a wayyyy better deal to use the q.

    • carmen

can i use the 10$ gift card that i get for the 2nd transaction like ECBs or does it have to be used on another day?

      • Products81

ive had, no problem using on 2nd transaction, i just let them know i plan on using it to buy 2nd shopping item(s),right after 1st transaction.

      • Anonymous

$10 ECB  you trade for a gift card. I have cashed them in for $10 gift cards to Macys, iTunes, Gap, or an Amex card

    • Mlaurie406

Never bought anything with the “cash card” promo. How does that work? It says it prints on your receipt…it is an actual CVS gift card, or like ECB’s??

      • This is a “new” promo, although similiar to the one that was going on through the holidays, this time you only have a CVS option.  When you purchase the qualifying amount you will get a coupon at the end of your register receipt, that you basically turn around and redeem for the gift card.

    • Jenlsanz2

Does anyone know what page of the ad the Benefiber is shown on? I’ve looked it over, but just don’t see it. It’s probably right in plain sight, but I’m skimming over it. Thanks!

      • Anne

        I don’t see it either.

    • Anne

Everyone is saying that you can’t use coupons with the theraflu to get the rebate.  When I purchased the Thera flu yesterday, and used the $3 Q, it just said $3 coupon on the receipt (not what the coupon was for)  How would they know you used a coupon for the thera flu?  I bought several other items as well.

    • Brooke

Skinny cow are NOT free…4.99 a box.. and the coupon has a max value of 3.48 so it comes out to be 1.52 for 2 boxes. Still an awesome deal for me because I LOVE the dreamy clusters. Sadly my store only had 2 boxes left since most people go shopping Saturday afternoon, I wanted to get 4 but I’ll have to check another CVS tomorrow.

      • Freemn4

I just found this out too.  it is still a good deal for 2 boxes which makes them about 12 cents a bar.

    • Polly

Where do you find the Winter Reinventing Beauty CVS magazine?

      • Anonymous

My store (on the rare occasion that they actually get some in) usually has them on the magazine rack near register. Sometimes they are found near the cosmetics and I have heard a few people mention finding them in the regular magazine display.

      • Products81

Ive seen them near the cosmetics  on a bottom shelf behind items, which is odd. place to have them, but that is where one cvs store keeps them

    • Lisa

Ok so if you have to spend 30 before coupons to get the 10 card, can you used EB’s you have to pay or does that count as a coupon?
      Thanks

      • Jjonlineoffers

Yes, you can use your extra bucks to pay and still get credit for the purchase.  Sweet!

    • Jjonlineoffers

If you love Pantene check this out!  On the shelves they have some of the pantene shampoo and conditioner with tags that say Clearance 25% off.  But if you scan them at the big red box, they are coming out at 75% off.  I used my $3/2 Pantene items (in P&G ad for Dec (exp 12/31) – and there is one in the January ad as well).  I literally got conditioner and shampoo for $.07 and $.24 since they ring up at $1.57 and $1.74.  WooHOO!  Weirdly not all were ringing up at the 75% off, but it is worth walking over and scanning a few for that deal!  And my understanding is this is happening all over, so it is essentially an unadvertised deal so there should be some still on the shelves!  I also ended up getting a $2 ECB because of the Pantene I bought.  I didn’t complained but was surprised.  I also did the Nivea lip care deal and bought 4 with 2- $3/2 coupons and then used $5.00 in Extra Bucks and got $5.00 in extra bucks back.  Sweet!  And as someone else pointed out below, the skinny cow BOGO candy isn’t free with the coupon.  CVS charges $4.99 for a box of 6 (that is INSANE) and the coupon is only good up to $1.49, so I paid $1.52 for 2.  Good Luck Ya’ll and don’t forget these deals start on Saturday night in non-24-hour stores, so go now!

    • Does anyone know where I might find the Benefiber three packs? I looked in the isle with the laxatives as well as the diet stuff but was unsuccessful…Any help is appreciated!

      • Reesefamilyshops

Last month I found them in the front of the store hanging on the round bins near the registers.

      • Anne

I don’t even see it in the ad.

    • Products81

Ok, well, since I had coupon withdraw, I went today as soon as 4pm(that is when my store starts scanning items for 1/1-1/7 ad. I Love Pantene and well I went Pantene happy, I got 16 bottles @1.83ea, spliting in 4 transactions. ( There Was plenty of items left for other Shoppers after my Pantene Happy moment,so no I didnt clear shelves) One of the reasons I got so many is because item was also in the $10Cvs cash card deal. Also I got 10 Dawn Renewal soap.@ .49ea spliting in 3 transactions, 4-Nivea lip care used 2 q $3/2 and recieved the 5ecb; 1-Oral B brush and 1- refill pack using 2 q $3off ea recieved 4ecb; 2 charm basic 12pk used 2- .25/1; (1)bounty towel pk; used .25/1 and $1/1 Cvs phamarcy coupon found next to item(ty tooth fairy:) making it 8.74; 3 tides use $2/1 q; and G2 pen 5PK 2 for 5(They have 2pk and 5pk,both ring up the same) and also soda 4/5..After my coupons, 9ecb and (2)$10Cvs cash card my oop was $61.72 Saving 146.41 a 70% saved today,PLUS,I left with 1 more unused $10Cvs Cash card, so really my oop was $51.72 and Saving 176.41, A 77%Saved :) :)

      • Products81

And About the 16bottles of Pantene, I will of course keep what i need and give some to family, like mother, and aunt, they also only use Pantene, so it worked out great.. :) Happy New Years Everyone

        • Mcleodsc

I do not think 16 bottles is hoarding if that is the kind you use. I only bought 4 of the particular type of Pantene I use (it was not on clearance). The store didn’t have any more of my kind but plenty of other types of Pantene. If there had been 16 bottles and I had enough of the $3/2 coupons to use on  them, I would have bought them. ONE PERSONS STOCKPILING IS ANOTHER PERSONS HOARDING-LOL. The CVS on Calhoun in Sumter has a massive amount of Pantene!

        • jaybird

You had an awesome shopping experience And you don’t have to explain to anyone Continue to do what you do to save money for you and your family. Enjoy your shopping !!!

I have been trying to get CVS deals for 3 weeks now, with very little success . . . showing up on Sunday after church.  The shelves are always cleared of the deals.  Now I know why . . .

        • Christie

Quit crying, There is always Plenty of Pantene to go around, I’ve I’ve never seen it cleared… You people are so hateful

        • DianneL

You know ,it really doesn’t matter if the stuff on sale each week runs out on Sunday. Find out when your store’s truck runs and go that day. I never shop on Sunday because my store gets product on Wednesday. I go in late that afternoon. Try that. HTH.

          • Anonymous

Thanks for your help Dianne.  I will try that.  I also think I found another solution.  After trying the 5th or 6th CVS, I think I found one that is not frequented by couponers as often, since there were plenty of Reinventing Beauty magazines at the front door!!

          • Anonymous

P.S. Let me know if you need any P&G inserts.  I was abundantly blessed today!!  : )

        • Products81

Im sorry to here you are having a hard time getting cvs deals, and you know this was my 1st cvs cash deals and also non cash deal like nivera lip care item, I also am one to miss out on alot of cvs deals and its all out of stock, we all go through the same thing missing out on deals, that is why it says while supplies last, and you shouldn’t judge others, because i dont judge others when i miss out on deals either, im not here to argue, but just to say, that not to take it Out on me! Just because I got 16bottles of Pantene, im one that clears the shelves, if you notice, there is 4 shelves of this item, which is Alot..my 16 bottle didnt make it even look like item was anywhere near gone, it seemed as if there as atleast 100+ more bottles. then again everyone has the right to speak what they feel. God Bless

ughh typo, * Im not one to..

          • Anonymous

I was not judging you sweetheart.  Please forgive me for offending you.  It’s actually none of my business how many bottles of shampoo you buy, or why.  Blessings to you and yours!  : )

I promise  that you will be better off going to church and losing out on the CVS deals. The things you gain at church  are invaluable. I truly feel sorry for people who use Sunday morning  for shopping highs. As my Pastor Dr. Estep said, “We dont have a economic crisis, we have a moral crisis”. If we get our moral priorities in order, then our economic ones would heal. Honor the Lords Day

          • Anonymous

Thank you for that powerful reminder JOette.  I just started using coupons a few weeks ago as part of the Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover.  I am learning to be more faithful and resourceful with the blessings God has given our family, so that ultimately we can bless others.  I can assure you that I don’t use Sunday mornings for shopping highs, or any morning for that matter.  Shopping is my least favorite thing in the world – I would rather clean toilets.  lol  Thanks again for the reminder to all of us to keep God first.

Do the transactions for the $30 qualified products accumulate during the week, and still give you the $10 gift card? For instance, if I purchased $10 of a qualified product on one day, and the other $20 throughout the week, will I still get the $10 gift card?

Yes it will accumulate. I did this with the Christmas gift card deals.

    • Jillcarroll77

On the gift card promotion, if I am buying $60 in those products will I get $20 in gift cards or do I have to divide it into 2 transactions?

      • You should get two as it is a limit of 5 per week, I would be pretty sure they will not care how the dollars add up as long as they do.

I am hoping to do it 2x myself, we actually really need tp and we go through copy paper like mad, and I would simply like some new make up so the cover girl deal looks good too.

        • Oshealk2

I did this a few weeks ago and there was no problem.  I got 1 gift card with $20 on it but they did give me the option of 2 $10 gc if I wanted them.

      • Just4yall

There is a limit per transaction.

    • emj

Did anyone else not get the PG insert today? I’m in Atlanta and got 2 SS and 2 RP.

      • Japalmer9

I didn’t get it in my AJC either! I bought two copies from Kroger and neither had the PG

        • Daymon

I live in Newnan and I got all the inserts in my AJC.

      • atlantashopper

I got 2 SS, 1 RP, and 1 PG in the AJC, both today’s delivered and yesterday’s early edition from the store.

      • Bamabobbie

I got two papers and only one had the PG insert.  Think I know what is happing to these coupons but don’t know what to do about it.

      • Anonymous

I’m in Gwinnett county, Loganville.  In the early edition (sunday paper that comes out on Sat) did not have the P&G but the final edition (Sunday paper on Sunday) had the P&G insert.  I was bummed since I bought 2 doubles and instead of getting 4 P&G I got 2

      • kksanders

I did not get P&G in my papers. I am in Hamilton Mill…I was not happy!!

    • Rockinroz

i got 2 ss, 1 rp and 1 PG,  Florence, SC

    • CouponingDad78

I went to my local CVS today and got 4 big Panteen shampoos, 1 Head and Shoulders shampoo, 2 Herbal Essence shampoos, 4 boxes of the Skinny Cow candies, 2 boxes of Puffs Tissue and 1 of the Dawn Hand Renewal all for a grand total after coupons (no ECB) $3.69.  On the bottom I got a $2 ECB and a $3 ECB meaning they paid me $1.31 to take it home with me :)

      • Tala

Good job and good start of New Year. :)
What kind of Pantene did you buy?

      • Idellstewart

I can’t figure out how you did this.  Can you explain?  I would like to do it too.

    • Mcleodsc

I got 2 Fruitopia hair sprays that were on clearance. A strange thing happened. The $1.50 off Fruitopia from the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine is taking off $2. instead of 1.50. I got them for less than $1 OOP and it counted toward the $30 needed for the $10 CVS card.

    • I went to CVS yesterday but they didn’t have the Skinny Cow Chocolate box on BOGO , the only thing they had on BOGO was the Skinny Cow chocolate bars, they were buy 2 get 1 free so I ended up getting 6 chocolate bars and I only pay for 2..not too bad!

    • Happymommy3

Ok so I am bummed, I did not get the coupon for the Nivea lip care. Is this coupon somewhere else?

      • Linda

Didn’t get Nivea lip care either :(. Did find $1 off one on facebook

        • Shsa1982

Get a raincheck just in case and I will put some in the mail for you tomorrow. Let me know how many coupons you need. I got about 20 last week from Riteaid for free so I wont need anymore for a while. Put Nivea in the subject line. My email is shsa1982@yahoo.com

          • em

My paper didn’t have any Nivea coupons either. I’d love to have 5 of them if you have that many to spare. If not, not biggie! :) I’ll send you an email. Thanks for your generousness!

    • Just4yall

Anyone Know if tide is apart of the Gift Card deal. When I look at the Weekly ad on line at CVS . com under the info it says that it is a part of it but when I asked the Cashiers in the store they said it wasnt.

      • Products81

no  tide products are not in gift card deal

    • Katigurl

I had a rather odd experience at CVS this AM. I headed out about 6:40 this morning to go buy my 3 newspapers, decided to head to CVS to get that out of the way, and arrived a few minutes before they opened. I sat in my car looking over my short list, and at 6:55, this SUV comes flying into the parking lot. 2 women hop out and stand by the front door of CVS, waiting for it to open. At 7am, they race into the store, and by the time I got my coupons, purse, etc, and headed in, one of the women was already headed to checkout with 4 bottles of Tide. The other woman is close behind with her cart with 4 bottles of Tide. The checkout, and woman #1 races the Tide to the car, comes back, grabs her cart and proceeds to grab 4 more bottles of Tide. She pays for it, and then leaves. (Woman #2 is still somewhere in store.) I go out to my car, and I see that the SUV is gone. I was confused because I know the women rode together. I sat in my car for a few minutes looking over my receipt, and looking over the CVS ad. All of the sudden, the same SUV is pulling back into the parking lot, and the woman gets out with a stack of clipped coupons, and I can see that the top is a Tide Q. She raced back into the store, coupons in hand. I can only speculate at this point, but it seemed a little odd. I didn’t look to see how much Tide was in stock, but it was only 7:21am on the first day of the new ad, and I know that they bought AT LEAST 12 bottles of Tide. Makes me wonder if these women were the same ones that bought out all of the Centrum Vits that were on sale a few weeks ago…….

      • Just4yall

So Im guessing that it is apart of the Gift Card deal!! lol

        • Katigurl

I was confused about that too. In the ad it doesn’t show it, and I have plenty of Tide from the last GC deal, so I didn’t even check.

          • Just4yall

Yeah it says it is in the online ad so I was going to get it for free with the $4/$20 coupon that was mailed to me and my $5 Beauty Bucks that I get for the Shampoo and what not but when I got there they said it wasn’t apart of the deal so I didn’t even try,

            • Ryanandwendy2005

I saw the same thing on the ad online, but saw it didn’t have a sign on them in the store, so I didn’t try, but then saw that they were on two end caps with signs advertising the gift card.

            • Just4yall

So you are as confused as I am!?

        • MappKidsSave

According to my CVS ad it isn’t guess sounds like they felt getting Tide for 3.94 a bottle was a really good deal…#fail lol

      • Lcstone19

That’s why we can’t get deals. People seem to want to hoard items so others don’t stand a chance. Just read on Walgreen page someone bought 17 bottles of Tylenol Cold and 14 of something else.  Sad.

        • Just4yall

Yes Yes people are greedy its not going to change no matter how much other complain.

        • Katigurl

It just makes me angry that the people that can’t get to CVS the very second that they open might not have a chance to get the deals because of people like that. I did not see a Manager in the store, just a younger employee that was working the register. I’m sure he doesn’t care to be the coupon police, but it just isn’t right. No, complaining on SS isn’t going to change it, but I just had to vent.

          • Just4yall

Yes I know, I understand how it goes but the only time it has made me so mad that I vented and called the 1-800 was when the Zhu Zhu pets went on sale for $2 and this lady called up at least 5 stores that I know of, probably more and put all of them on hold even the stock in the back. I was in the store looking and racks of toys that I could not purchase because they were holding them for 1 person. I couldn’t be leave how selfish this lady was being and I couldn’t be leave the managers where letting her do that. Needless to say in the end the managers got in trouble some might have even been fired I don’t know. These are the things you vent about.

        • Anonymous

by the way, i had to go to three, count it out , 3 walgreens to get my deals. so don’t bash me….. i have been late several times and got NOTHING because it was all gone, and it was 10 am when i got to checkout, a full 2 hours after opening. and 3 pm when i left cleveland…….

      • Clemonsclan

This is why I went ahead and started making my own detergent….:)

        • Couponsrock

It seems easier to just buy it for me.  I spend $1-$2 for a 30+ load bottle.

        • Tshockley1

          Me too!!!

      • Pinkchick82686

It wasnt even that great of deal. I got 4 about 2 weeks ago for free.  so I didnt even buy any today.  If it is not free I do not buy tide because home made is better and cost hardly anything, maybe 2 cents per load.

        • Sparen_und_nix_zahlen

I was wondering how do you make your own? And does it clean just like the bought stuff (Tide etc.)? What do you use?
          Thanks

        • Anonymous

Where did you get 4 bottles of Tide for free?

          • Christie

I did too. It was with the Gift card deal… If you rolled your ECBs it ended up being free

      • Sunflower_rn2003

Wasnt the Tide Cheaper at Kroger?? That is where I got mine for $2.99 and I only bought 4 bottles for crying out loud! And there was PLENTY but still!

    • Faerybreath

7 charmin ultra nine packs, 2 cross action toothbrushes, one curel lotion, two 14 packs always pads, one scope outlast mouthwash 42.3 fl oz, three pantene, two dawn for about thirty dollars, two trans, and still have ten dollar giftcard. Great start to my year.

      • Faerybreath

Because I know I will be get asked, 7 x 2.00 off charmin blinkie coupons from kroger. Two. 50 dawn q. Two 3.00 q from oral b. Two 1.00 always. One 3.00 from pantene. One. 75 from scope. 6 ecbs from previous week. In first trans I got edge and rolled to second. Also got 3.50 in bonus from red box.

        • Faerybreath

Echelon not edge… hate auto correct.

          • Faerybreath

It just did it to me again. Argh!

    • Kady

I’ve reread the CVS coupon policy but I can’t find the info I’m looking for. If I buy 2 osteo products, which are on sale B1G1, can I use 2 coupons? Or just 1?

      • Faerybreath

        Yes. Use two.

    • Cl3v3rgirl33

Today is my one year anniversary of couponing!  I would like to thank Jenny and all of you bloggers who have helped me understand the policies, lingo, and crazy coupon math, (ex. B1G1 deals with B1G1 Q’s).

Especially in this economy, every dime saved has allowed me to stretch our family budget.  I have bought things with coupons and gotten things free I would have thought extravagant  and would have put back on the shelf.

Thank you for all the help.  :)

      • Anonymous

Happy Anniversary and I hope you have many, many more!

    • Couponchik54

Was there suppose to be a CVS sales paper today?  We only got the Red Plum and P&G inserts in Greenwood Index Journal.

      • Henaomiller

        got one in Ohio!

      • beme2004

I live in Greenwood too but get the Greenville paper delivered. There wasn’t a CVS in mine either.

      • beme2004

I live in Greenwood too but get the Greenville paper delivered. There wasn’t a CVS in mine either.

    • Couponsrock

I think these paper delivery people are taking the inserts out and reselling them.  I tried to contact the AJC but ended up talking with someone overseas who could barely understand what I was saying.  He promised to have someone call me back but it never happened.

      • Couponsrock

336 results found for p&g coupon inserts on Ebay!  They are sold in packs of five.  That’s where everyone’s inserts are going.

        • Hairxpert4

          unbelievable. and so not fair:)

        • Kathymomto3

P&G should crack down on those people.  And couponers should stop buying them off of Ebay!

      • Jenlsanz2

My newspapers are sold with all the ads and coupon inserts sealed in plastic wrap and tucked into the newspaper. I’m not in your area, but I’m just curious, do yours come loose inside the paper?

        • Couponsrock

Yeah, the are just loose in the paper.  I check all my papers before I purchase them now.  Stores don’t like it but when I’m spending $10 on papers they need to get over it.

    • Sandyjmom

Just realized all my ECBs expired over Christmas!  Will CVS accept them expired?

      • Clemonsclan

go speak to your CVS manager.  Mine was very nice and said that they Would accept the expired EBs…I just talked with him tonight and some of mine expired the 26th….ask !!!  :)

      • Tristansmommy120910

They sure will! And if the do give you any issues customer service will re-issue them.

    • Bunny6269

Question: I am trying a scenario for the $30/$10 GC…if I use coupons on the items, will the coupon amount come off AFTER the $30 is recognized so I still receive my gift card?

      • Thetaylortidbit

spend $30 BEFORE coupons (your total must be $30, then use your coupons)

        • Bunny6269

Thanks! I wanted to get 2 Bounty, 1 Pantene deal (3/$9) and a few Dawn to round up to $30, but didn’t want the coupons on all to mess it up!

          • Kathymomto3

Check your email before you go.  I had a $5 off $25 coupon that I used in my $30 transaction.

      • Vicki

My scenario this evening worked and I used lots of coupons. I used the exact scenario listed above with the Pantene, Charmin, Dawn and CoverGirl. No problems.

        • Brandiebudd

my cvs would not let me use the 5 ecb with that senerio.

      • Hairxpert4

        yes:)

      • Hairxpert4

        yes:)

Is anyone having problems getting the P&G ad? I haven’t gotten one since October, and my husband checks the papers at the store. It’s not just the store either because our delivered paper never has them either. I get RedPlum and SmartSource. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I’m in middle TN

      • Couponsrock

I think the paper delivery people are taking them to resell on ebay.  Go see for yourself.

      • Erin

I live in Middle TN and I got my P&G inserts.  I’ve had to start buying my papers at the gas station around the corner because delivery/customer service with the Tennessean is horrendous!  I would say check your papers before buying them but then people around you might think you’re taking the inserts out.  This is coming from someone who is always worried of what others are thinking…  Sorry!

        • Anonymous

I’ll have to do that because they have not been in the grocery store papers. Thanks. Sadly, my husband does check and all 3 of the papers there were out so they must be going through them all.

        • Dee

I had some delivery problems with Tennessean, but was able to clear it up after several phone calls.  I just kept calling to request credit for the papers that were not delivered.  Finally fixed.

Call your local newspaper and find out… We get two different newspapers delivered and both had the P&G coupons in them.

      • Bamabobbie

I got two papers yesterday one with the P&G and one without.  Went this morning to Wags to buy another paper and the cashier said they must have picked up the extra’s yesterday because they normaly come Monday or sometimes on Tuesday.  Why would they come late Sunday evening to pick themup??????

    • Lacey530

If I do 3 items that add up to $29.97, will I be able to get the $10 gift card? I think I did before but I can’t remember.

      • randa

Yes, it will.  I believe I have even seen someone post that it will trigger the gift card @ $29.40.

        • Erin

I was looking at the Glass Scale deal (shakes only) and my total before tax is $29.  I wonder if it will print a dollar away from $30.  I’m scared to try it because I don’t want to have to deal with returning the products.

          • randa

For a whole dollar away, I wouldn’t think that it would work.  But ya know, I am always surprised when it comes to CVS.  :)

          • Products81

on one of my transaction, it was at $29.17 and it printed the $10 cvs cash card, im thinking as longs as you are no more than .99c below $30.. but 100% sure.

            • Products81

              typo, i meant not 100% sure :)

            • Products81

also the differance will apply to amount needed for next $30 cvs cash card, so my .83c carried over making my next $10 cvs cash card amount needed at $30.83

    • Vicki

I had an absolutely frustrating experience at CVS tonight! I had some identical coupons that stated, “One coupon per purchase.” Okay…every coupon says that…ALL of them. The manager is confused since I have more than one. He calls corporate, who tells him that it means I can only use ONE of these coupons. Huh? It was a B1G1 coupon, and did not limit how many ‘like’ coupons I could use. (And I wasn’t clearing the shelves or anything).  I was definitely buying enough of the products to use more than one coupon. What is the deal here? This manager even said that I couldn’t do multiple transactions and use a coupon on a separate transaction (he actually asked corporate this question, trying to be helpful). Am I missing something here? I see that the P&G coupons state “One coupon per purchase and Limit of 4 like coupons per shopping trip”. This coupon said nothing of the sort. Look at your coupons…don’t they all say, “One coupon per purchase”? And doesn’t that mean you can’t use, say, three coupons on one item??? When does this mean you are only allowed to use ONE only??? Grrrrr…

      • Asdmd

i have had this problem at Lowes Food, people who do not use coupons have no clue how to understand the wording.

      • Katy

One coupon per purchase means only one coupon per product (or whatever the coupon is requiring, example: by 2 get $1 off) you can’t use that coupon for 4 items and get $2 off. You would need a second coupon. Then only when it stipulates on the coupon that you cannot use more than one like coupon in a transaction would the manager be correct. They didn’t word the question correctly or corporate didn’t know what he was asking. I would go to another CVS and try it there. Or try another cashier. I have to go out of my way to another CVS in town because the one that is closest to me are coupon HATERS and will always make me feel like a thief and do their best to cause me anguish in my transactions. Hubby has gotten irritated with their service to me many times now I just avoid them!

I was abundantly blessed with P&G Inserts today!  I have 4 extra that our family will never be able to use before the expiration date of Jan. 31.  If you did not get a P&G, send me an e-mail and I will mail it to you.  E-mail:  Sherri.L.Tober@ILoveJesus.net

      • jessica

        emailed you my address.
        thanks & God Bless

      • Fed Up W/ Government

Love your email address :)  Blessings to you and your family.

I was soooo upset because i live in a small town and did not get the P&G insert. My address is Renee Crowe
                                                2202 Davis Ave
                                                Tifton, Ga. 31794
        Thanks Alot

      • Anonymous

Glad I could help Liesl, Renee, Jessica, and Mari.  Coupons in mail tomorrow.  : )

    • Ellera3

I also had a $5 off $25 coupon.  That is $25 before coupons, correct?  If so I guess I should’ve grabbed something else…oh well.  Didn’t have any of the other sale item coupons clipped & with me.  Thanks Jenny!

      • Ellera3

Well, my comment that I posted before this is waiting to be approved…?

    • Anonymous

I have not been getting my P&G inserts with my papers. Is anyone willing to trade coupons for 4 pantene 2/$3? I have been waiting for a sale and coupons but have NO stock anymore and really need some. At this point, I’ll trade even coupons I might need for these!

      • Jessdare101

I’ve got extras I can trade you. You need the $3/2 pantene?

        • Anonymous

yes I do. Let me know what you need. If you have 4 so I can stock up finally that would be great but I’ll be happy just having good shampoo

    • Hairxpert4

tide is on sale here for 5.94 and with the $2 coupon in the paper makes it 3.94. better deal than walgreens this week!

      • Gmcouponer

Kroger is having the buy 4 save 4 and with the coupon for $2.00 off it makes it $2.99 a bottle there… Just a quick heads up to help….

      • Tristansmommy120910

iI’ve heard others mention this and now I’m curious. I went in to my cvs and they had a display of tide on a shelf showing a big cvs cash card sign above it. Wondering if its a unadvertised cash card deal which would make it $1 a bottle for me after using the $5/25 coupon.

        • Products81

the tide is not part of the cvs cash deal, its only on sale, for $3.49 after $2/1 q..if you have a Krogers, my krogers has the $4 off 4 select p&g items this month, and the tide is on of the items, making it $2.99 after q and kroger 4/4 deal :)

          • Tristansmommy120910

That’s what I figured :( someone previously said they saw it in the online ad. I couldn’t find it no where. And I know its not in my paper ad. They shouldn’t put a Huge cash card sign right in front of something that isn’t included. May confuse people :/ Owell maybe another time. Thank you for clearing that up. Would have been upset to have made a trip for nothing.

          • Products81

            typo *3.94 i mean  :)

          • Ich

If you take the cvs add to walmart and pricematch there it will only be $1.94 after coupons thats what I did today :)

            • Ich

oops Tide I meant of course

    • Kara

Where can you find the Winter CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine?

      • Katy

I’d like to know this too please!!

      • Gmcouponer

Go the front desk they will tell you. They may run out fast but they are normally at or around the makeup area. Its a thin magazine so theres a chance you just may be over looking it. But just ask the people at the front desk.

      • Maddin

I found mine in the Make-Up Aisle.

      • Kara

Thank you all for your help! :)

    • Onemomfortwo

I can NOT find the nivea coupons with mine..I clipped all my coupons and checked back over..am I missing something??

      • Sunflower_rn2003

Me either and they are not printable on the website either:(

    • Onemomfortwo

I went on the site, it seems like my paper should have had the red plum insert, but I bought 5 augusta chronicles, and NONE of them had the nivea coupons….

      • Abbielou02

I live in Augusta and didn’t get any either :( If not for the P&G yesterday we would have gotten 14 different coupons (I think that’s right). So dumb!

      • Sunflower_rn2003

I bought my Augusta Chronicles in an Evans Publix and I got all 3 inserts but you are correct no Nivea. In fact the only coupon worth anything from Red Plum was the All detergent, otherwise it was just a waste of trees

    • Katy

If I buy $60 in products before coupons and ECB’s will I get 2 $10 gift cards or do I need to do two separate $30 transactions to get $10 each?

you dont need to separate youll get 2

      • Products81

It automatically totals your  spent amount and amount needed to get a $30 cvs cash card, so it will automatically give you 2 cvs cash cards once you reach $60. after your receipt prints, so yes, if you reach $60 then it will print to vouchers to redeem( have cashier scan both $10 vouchers for cvs cash card to activate,

    • Cptjill

I don’t understand recycle bank coupons.   do you happen to have a “how-to” for those? :)

    • Sunflower_rn2003

Great Week at CVS- 3 bottles of Pantene Shampoo, 3 Bottles of Pantene Conditioner/ 3 packages of Always Pads/ 2 bottles of Dawn dish soap and two packs of Charmin TP All for $17.53 OOP I was stoked:)

      • Hamm3m

Will you email me the the break down…I would like to duplicate it….I new to this. Thanks hamm3m@gmail.com

        • Vicki

see my reply above – it breaks it down to what I think the buyer may have done.

      • Vicki

I’m trying to figure this one out..
        Buy 6 Pantene at $3.33 each – use (3) $3 off two coupons = $10.94
        Buy 3 Always at $3 each – use (3) $1 off coupons = $6
        Buy 2 Dawn at .99 each – us (2) .50 coupons = .98
        Buy 2 Charmin at $5.40 each – use (2) .25 off coupons =  $10.48
Get back a $10 Gift Card. That would make the net total about $17, but the OOP (out of pocket) is actually what you spend, not the net. I think maybe the buyer subtracted the $10 gift card from what she actually spent to arrive at this total.

        • Products81

some of the items may have been on clearance,or used ecbs,b/c i figured $28.40 so minus the $10 earned,if applied to this transaction, without ecb or clearance prices if any would be 18.40 +tax.. so, sounds like the 18.40 includes minusing the $10card plus any ecb  or other %off q

        • Sunflower_rn2003

I used my $10 for a second transaction to buy the toilet paper and I had $3.50 in ECB for my first transaction, coupons are correct. I only paid OOP 1.25 for the TP after my $10 CVS gift card, I did the P&G products for the $30 with the coupons you liste3d

    • Donna091960

I would like to have some of the Nivea and hefty  coupons, if anyone has some they don’t want? donna091060@yahoo.com. and would be glad to share coupons that I won’t be using

    • Maddin

I just went to CVS and used the BOGO coupon (SS1/1) for the slim-fast 4 pack. They are on sale 2 for $9 and the coupon rings for 6.49 (regular price for one). My total for both was 2.71 including tax. TOTAL SAVED $11.07

    • Amyhankins10

At my SC Kroger store, I found $2 off coupons for Charmin on Sunday.  I used these at my CVS store and made 12 rolls $3.49.  The addtional $10 gift card when purchasing $30 worth makes this a FANTASTIC deal.  I have enough TP to last a very long time!!

      • trying

where did you find $2off Q for charmin?

    • Purplemarion

just got back from CVS got a $5.00 for spending  $20.00 and 1.50 ECB  in the coupon Kiosh and at the register asked if wanted to use both on this transaction, which I did, I did not realize I had a total of 20.00 because I was doing two transactions. (made me realize need to take calculator with me)  Thought it nice I was asked.

    • Mljnc13

In case anyone else misunderstood the ad (like me!) the CVS brand GC promo and the proctor/gamble item GC promo are two separate things and items cannot be combined to get the $30 total needed. this is different from the pre-christmas deal where any of the items in the ad could be combined.

      • Katalva04

It was all lumped together on my receipt.

    • SarahJoy

I was looking for the skinny cow packages today and couldn’t find them (but didn’t ask an employee either lol).. where abouts are they at?

      • Mljnc13

At my CVS they were on an endcap display labeled “premium chocolate” way at the bottom of the display.

        • Vicki

That’s exactly where I found them. I asked the cashier, and she said that they only had single bars. Ha. I was happy to educate here when I chanced upon them…

      • kellync

I have found them with all the other candy at the registers.

    • Katigurl

Good job! I love CVS and I think I do my best couponing there. :)

    • Millie

What exactly is the recyclying bank?

      • jennaj81

recyclebank is a website that offers points for taking pledges, quizzes, and recycling. You can then redeem those points for coupons and gift cards. It is awesome!

    • Millie

What exactly is the recyclying bank?

Had a great trip to cvs this evening! :) just a tip.. if your store is out of Nivea like mine was on the end cap where they should be, check up by the register, found mine there!! used a couple ecbs i had from emails and such, ended up paying $11 oop and getting $10 cash card when i left!!! sweet!!! like paying $1 for all the stuff i got! My 9 year old daughter was sooo excited!

I just realized that I have a CVS $5 off $25 coupon sitting in my email inbox that expires today! Will they accept it if I go in tomorrow to shop?

      • DianneL

        Yes, most CVS stores will!

        • Anonymous

Awesome! I will print it out and take it with me tomorrow.  Thanks!

          • Ambersweat

Depends on the store…my store will not take them even if its just 1 day late.

    • Asphillips

Made my weekly trip to CVS and got the Aussie that was 3.33 on the $10/$30 deal when I got home and looked at my receipt I realized the conditioner rang up at $1.04. Has anyone else had this to happen?

      • Asphillips

With the $1q that makes it .04

    • Pam Pam

I live in middle Alabama about an hour from each of three major cities,
Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Montgomery…Bham and Montgomery papers will
not deliver here and the papers they put in their boxes do not have ANY
coupons…I have talked to the carrier and she says that the paper
office will not give her coupons to distribute….Tuscaloosa that are
delivered to our home is usually correct but if you buy them in store
the carriers have been told not to put coupons in them and are not given
enough to put in them… I think our complaining needs to go beyond the
newspapers but to the companies i.e. P&G, Smart Source, and Red
Plum distributors or whoever it is that decides where/who they are going
to advertise to….It is very aggravating to me and many couponers
around here… we have taken to one of us driving the hour to purchase
papers which is working out pretty well because then we can get them
      lots cheaper at Dollar Tree…

      • Mapteacher123

ok, u must be from brent or centreville. i found that buying at the dollar store where they are kept behind the  counter is the way to go, otherwise people steal the coupons. and btw happens everywhere not just there

        • Heydenisec

I heard it throught the grapevine that if you go to the Tuscaloosa News office on Monday and buy 2 papers for the day before, they give you one of the previous Sunday paper free…

          • Meshell

They did at one point. However, the receptionist at the T-News told me about a month ago they put a halt to that because the insert companies don’t allow them to give them away. The last time I was in, she sold the current issue for regular price (1.50 each), then previous issues for 75 cents each. Which works out pretty well. There were a couple of times, right before the holidays, when someone bought the 75 cent ones all up.

      • Kay

Pam, it really pays to buy your coupons with a coupon company.I use The Coupon Clippers & have my whole inserts delivered via postal mail from Sunday Coupon Inserts. Some friends & I order together & it brings shipping cost down & I spend about the same as I would if I were buying our local papers.

      • Meshell

I feel your pain. I live in Fayette. I have found one store that I can pretty much count on the inserts being in the newspapers. I have been told that there are one or two others. I am fortunate enough (I guess :-)) to work in Tuscaloosa, so I can get mine at the T-News office. My sister goes to the newspaper office in Winfield & gets papers for 75 cents. However, I don’t think they carry all the inserts the T-News does.

    • Hannah P

CVS has B2G1 Icebreakers mints this week. I used B1G1 tearpad coupons that I got at the gas station (**Ask for them at the counter if you don’t see any on the shelf, they have a lot of tearpads back there!) I got 9 cans of mints for 5.50 – 2.50 ECB that printed from the magic machine so my final price was .33 per can – regular price 2.27/can.  If you can find the tearpad coupons at a gas station, it’s a great deal!

    • Ccarlin09

Where is the Bumble Bee tuna coupon? What zip code is it?

How do you get the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine?  I can’t seem to find it at any CVS I go to…

      • Anonymous

It’s supposed to be either in the magazine rack near checkout, near the cosmetics or in the regular magazine section. However, a lot of stores seem to never have them. If you can’t find them, call customer service. That’s what I had to do and they were nice enough to mail me one.

You ethically can’t.  The people who are commenting on here that they got them for free, did so erroneously.  Their cashiers didn’t read the limit of the coupon and the couponer “conveniently” didn’t bring it up.  Essentially, they got away with it.

        • Shelly

sorry…wrong comment in the wrong place.  :-)

    • Alpaniag

Hi, I’m new to coupons and cvs deals, so how can I get the skinny cow if they are $4.99 BOGO if the coupon limit is $3ish??? Thank you

      • ab

You can’t. I had to pay about $1.50 for two, which is still a great deal!

        • jennaj81

          same here.

        • Freedomspradley1

You are assuming the couponer knew the cashier typed in the value wrong or coerced the cashier to use the coupon erroneously.  I usually have no idea what the cashier types in for the coupon value until my receipt prints unless they say it out loud as they key it in.

          • Shelly

It CLEARLY states on the coupon what the max value is and when you purchase them, you can see that they cost more than the allowable max value.  Everyone is bragging on here how happy they are they got away with getting them for free!  Clearly, they knew.  If the cashier doesn’t ask you for any money, you KNOW that something isn’t right.  So, knowing or not knowing what the cashier types in is irrelevant.  You, the consumer, KNOWS that you will owe some money and when you aren’t asked for any, you clearly know you got away with it.  It takes a morally ethical person to call out an error when it isn’t in your favor to do so.  It’s these little lies that hurts the credibility of honest couponers and brings down those of us trying to do things the right way.  I, too, could have gotten them for free, but when I saw the error, I felt obligated to point it out to the cashier.  I don’t want them getting in trouble for something I KNEW wasn’t right.  Also, I have formed a relationship with the cashiers in our local stores and I want them to see me as a person of integrity and not trying to “get something for nothing” like so many people think couponers are trying to do.

    • Valerie

I don’t know if this is regional, but in our CVS ad it features Old Spice body wash for $3.49.  We got a $2 off Q in our P&G inserts this past Sunday.  This makes the body wash $1.49.  Pretty good deal :)  Wish we could have taken part in the Nivea body wash deal, but didn’t get those Qs this week :(

      • zebby

Even better, 2.49 at Kroger this week, making it .49 with Q

    • MomOf4

For the gift card deal, I bought 5 Charmin and 1 Aussie conditioner (marked down to $2.09).  Used a $5/25, 2 $1/2 Qs for the Charmin, and $1 off Aussie.  Total was $11.54….ended up paying $2.09 for each pack of TP :)

Andersoncouponmommy@gmail.com for my mailing address. I will reimburse the stamp or trade coupons of similar value, just let me know which you’d prefer:) TIA

      • ericswifeowensmom

word is, these coupons were found at Kroger in the TP aisle….we didn’t get any in Dickson, TN

        • Teri

@ericswifeowensmom-The $2 Charmin Qs are in the aisle’s at both Kroger’s in Bellevue and BelleMeade (Nashville) as right now.

          • ericswifeowensmom

Hey, Teri. Thanks for the reply. I went to Bellevue and BelleMeade today. Although neither of the stores had the blinkie machine, I was lucky enough to find 5 coupons scattered about the shelves in the TP aisle at Bellevue:) No such luck at Bellemeade. That store is SO CLEAN!

    • Sharon Adams

          • jennaj81

At my store they are $4.99. The max value of the coupon is $3.48. So you are actually going to have to pay $ OOP. Maybe that info would make that manager feel better. But, they should take the coupon. It is not against policy. Maybit’s just that manager being picky. You could try another store or go when that manager isn’t there.

      • Sandra

that is garbage……I used 4 coupons tonight and got 8 boxes FREE!!!!

        • Shelly

How did you get them for free when the maximum value of the coupon is less than the cost of one box?  You should have had a small out of pocket expense…

          • Ellera3

My cashier typed in 4.99 instead of 3.48.  Guess he didn’t read the coupon.  Score for meeee.

            • Sandra

My cashier valued the q as 4.99 each

            • E_candler

Same thing happened to me..4 boxes totallyFREE!! Love those CVS cashiers, they are always great at my store and cheer me on when I get things for free.  I tell them where to print couons and they love it.

            • Texasgirl

Wow…it’s sad you get excited when you get away with defrauding a company…

            • Ellera3

That would be the cashier’s fault.

      • Clarkklan4

        I would contact CVS

        • Crownstar

agree.  call the corporate office…I keep all the store “corp” offices programed in my phone!  CVS is 1-888-607-4287.  Always get the name of who you are talking to also…

    • acrossle

I had to B1G1 Skinny Cows and my CVS had me pay $.80 TOTAL. That is .20/1. I asked before using them how they would work and that is the info I was given by the manager. I have two more …. excited about stocking up on these! I will have eight boxes for a total of $1.60!

    • Babydoll 1999

Had a pretty good trip today.  I got 3 Dawn, 1 Oral B toothbrush, 2 Centrum ProNutriets and 4 Nivea Lip Balms.  Total value $37.69, total oop $9.66 with $5 ECB back.  Yay, so I got all of it for $4.66!

P.S.  They had a deal on the Centrum ProNutriets but 2 and get $5 ECB back plus B1G1 50% off.  Plus there are the $5 off ProNutriets coupons.  So you can get them for $4.37 each, Normally $12.49.

    • Teresa

Do you have to spend $30 in one transaction to get the $10 off? Or does it keep track of it once you spend $30 you get the $10 off? I’m so confused, help! Lol!

      • Jenny

It will keep track, so you don’t have to buy all at once.  And if you go over $30, it will start adding up to another $30 so you can get another gift card.

    • Crownstar

Eclipse Gum ( double pack 18 pieces) 3 packs for $3 dollars.   l went to CVS this evening and noticed they had Eclipse single pack gum in the bin at the register 3 for $3 or $1 per pack.  After they rang it up, I got $2 ECBs back!. I kept rolling the $2 ECBs until my receipt said I reached my limit after 18 packs!

      • Familycouponsfor6

How many packs do you have to buy before you get the ECB’s?  Was it a certain flavor?

        • Crownstar

you buy 3 packs for $3 and get back $2 in ECBs.  There were 4 different flavors in the bin and I just mixed and matched.  At my store there were, spearmint, winterfrost, pepermint and polar ice.  These are not the 3 packs of gum together that are usually wrapped together.  These are individual packets (18 piece per pack).

          • Familycouponsfor6

            Thank you!

Several Fruitopia Products are on clearance for $1.74 (Half price) at my CVS.  I had a coupon for $1.50 off any product that was in the CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine that was “FREE” last month in the CVS coupon scanner.  When I purchased the Fruitopia shampoo today, the CVS store coupon rang up as $2.00.   So it was a money maker….Score!

    • easley54

Great day CVS Red machine spit out a 5.00 and 3.00 of coupns plus I had 5.00 c. for beauty club. I used several coupons in this weeks paper and the beauty magazine. $ 128.12  total, paid less than $ 3.00.and went home with 8 dollars in  ECBs

    • Mkelly4

How is the colgate free if it starts at $2.74 w/ $1 ecb and $1 man. q?  Is there another discount somewhere that I am missing?

      • Prsol

There is a store coupon listed (from CVS Beauty magazine, which BTW i have never seen….)
When you combine mfr +store + ECB you get toothbrush free + profit

        • Vicki

I usually have to ask for the Reinventing Beauty Magazine, but when I find it, I buy 3 or 4. They more than pay for themselves with the stackable coupons!

          • Cayacoup

Even better, my CVS (I haven’t seen this at any other ones) had a stack of the coupon inserts for the Beauty mag sitting next to the mag itself. I picked up 4 for free! Never seen this before but will be on the lookout next season when they first come out.

      • Bethwofford87

Store coupon is also a $1. Stack them and get it for free.

    • Brandiebudd

I went to CVS and got the #5 senerio listed  above…It says to use the 5 ecb from the nivea purchase. I did that and it prevented me from getting the 10 gift card. Anyone else have that happen? I may need to be more vocal when I shop…I ended up taking some items back and appeared to make money…I am so confused…lol

      • Christie

You need to look at your receipt and see how much it says you have towards your $10 deal.. The $5 ECB did not have any effect. Something didn’t ring up correctly. And make sure it is $30 Before Tax..

    • Vicki

I keep forgetting…If I have a BOGO coupon, can I also use a cents off that will attach to one?

      • Rh

yes, because you are paying full price for one.

        • maddin

I tried to use a BOGO coupon and a cents off coupon when I bought my slim fast. since each store had only a few I ended up going to 3 different CVS. At each store I was not able to use the $1.50 coupon in addition to the BOGO coupon. Is there a coupon policy I can quote or a certain order in which I have to use them?

          • zebby

I think it is up to that particular store.  I have had them accept cents off with a bogo, and I have had them refused. The policy is usually one coupon per item, but it depends on how they interpret the bogo.  Some stores say the bogo applies to both

    • Vicki

Here’s a sweet little CVS deal: My CVS has their Christmas candy on sale for half price. There is a coupon in the current Reinventing Beauty magazine for $1/2 Reese’s, Hershey’s or York. The original price of the candy I bought (Reece’s, Hershey’s Kisses) was $3.49 per bag. Using the store sale and coupon, this brought each bag down to $1.25. I always buy multiple copies of the Reinventing Beauty – they always more than pay for themselves!!!

      • Cstewart29

Where do i get this magazine from…The Reinventing Beauty?

    • Queenbkay87

do you have to spend 30 before or atfer coupons to get the 10 gift card thing?

      • Crownstar

You spend $30 before coupons on the specially selected items and then you get the 10 gift card

    • Anonymous

Has anyone’s CVS marked their Christmas stuff down more than 50%?  My store still has tons of toys that I want to buy, but I’m hoping that they will go down more.  I don’t want them to suddenly take the stuff off the shelves and send back to warehouse when I am willing to buy it at 50% off – I just really want it to go down a little more.

In Dickson, Tn, they have already marked the items down to 75% off.

      • Musiclady0110

our store in AL has marked them 75% off too.  I got several $19.99  Discovery Kids items today for $4.99!!!  Already started my  Christmas shopping!!!   YAY!!!

        • Jrmartin

Where are you in AL?  I looked at the Hoover Riverchase store tonight and the sign still said 50%.  :(

If anyone has extra $5 off Centrum ProNutrients product (exp 2/26) coupons from the RP 1/1/12, I would appreciate 3 coupons. They were not in my paper again. Thanks.

      • BlessedSmith

Unfortunately my 3 paper   papers only had 1 redplum but you can print the 5 off coupon on redplum dot com

      • Vicki

I won’t be using them, Rachel. Email me at vickisfloyd@hotmail.com and I will mail them to you.

        • Rachel

Thank you. I just sent you an email.

I went to CVS today, and while mine was sold out on the lip care, the Nivea Express Hydration lotion was 2/$5.  So I picked up 4 bottles, used one $5/2 coupon (from the 1/1 RP, I only had one). Paid $5 and got the $5 ecb.  If you have more than on 1/1 RP you could make $5.

      • Cstewart29

I found one bottle of the Express Hydraytion marked down on clearance for $4.14.  Didn’t see anything about 2/5?  I have the coupons but can’t find the products:(

    • Gatorbait4us

      Does CVS take competors coupons?

      • Vicki

I don’t think so. If so, we would all be all over that!

    • Guest

UTTO….I was just on the CVS website….they too are going to a load to card system.  It sounds like you can choose to do either till Feb 15th…..after that – not sure if you get to choose anymore :(

      • Guest

The website does say that your ECB will be available next time you use your card – so not sure if there will be any “delay” time.

      • Nurseamie

What is a “load to card” system?? I just started CVSing this week (goodbye Walgreens!!!), and I’m hoping it doesn’t change too much in the way of how the deals work. Thanks in advance!

        • Vicki

This means that your ECBs will no longer print but they will be added to your Extra Care card. Nothing will really change, you just won’t have paper copies. My only problem with this will be keeping up with expiration dates.

I think that means we’ll lose our option to spend ECBS as we please.  I only use ECBs on items that come with ECBs.  This may totally wreck that system!

Does anyone know if you can use the $10 gift card from the P&G deal to pay for an additional $30 in P&G products and earn a 2nd gift card? I want to purchase another $30 in products before coupons and then use the $10 gift card as part of the payment but Im not sure if that will stop another gift card receipt from printing.(I believe you can earn up to 5gift cards?) Any help would be appreciated!!

      • tina

yeap i do this most weeks it will print for another gift card after u spend 30 up to 5 gift cards

    • Products81

The Holiday items and candy also all holiday gift sets like  perfume is 50%off.  use any  q for candy on 50% sale making it 75%off depending on price seeing you are already getting it 50% off plus your q. :)

Am I the only one going to CVS every day to buy one can of bumble bee tuna for .59 and scanning my bag tag? I think of it as an additional .25 off that can so I get it for .34!

      • Jmboshart2

i keep forgetting about the bag, how do you do that again?

        • maddin

Meredith: It’s the green tag tyhat you find at the register for 99 cents.
Jmboshart2 i go every day as well not necessary for just one item but I see it as 25 cent off as well. unfortunately My CVS runs out of stuff if I want to do the 1 item a day

      • Meredith

        What is the bag tag?

      • Anonymous

Unfortunately, I have to drive to my CVS.  Even though it’s on my way to work, it would still cost me more than 25 cents in gas to drive into the parking lot and restart my car.  Plus, my CVS is always busy so I would have to wait in line.  If I could walk to mine through, I would totally do that!  Get exercise and a little discount.  Great combination.

Is the Tide detergent for $5.94 a good deal after using the $2.00 coupon?  19-32 loads for $3.94

      • maddin

I would say so, especially since the 5.94 is already a sales price. It would be better if they include it in the CVS cash promotion.

      • zebby

You can get it at kroger this week for 2.99

      • CouponSpice

tide is on sale at Kroger this week making it $2.99

    • Alicia

Can anyone tell me how to use the Recycle Bank site?  How do I get the coupon for the tuna?  Thank you so much for helping :)

      • Chill710

I couldn’t find the tuna coupon on there when I checked just a bit ago.

      • Shelly

        Sorry…it’s no longer available.

    • Familycouponsfor6

Does anyone know where I could get the nivea coupon for $3/2? My Redplum did not have the coupon in it.

    • Tjrdridings2

Has anyone been able to get the diet coke Q? All I see is an Ad when I click the link.  Thanks!

    • Ivajean

I wasn’t able to find the $3 off of 2 Nivea lipcare in the Red Plum issue. I found other Nivea products though. ????

    • Guest

I never saw anyone post but: the Dial for men lotion is on clearance at my two cvs’ for about $3.74 and DO count towards the 3 ecb deal going on when you spend $10. My lady at cvs had me do one up to see if it would work as she wasn’t sure and it counted! Even without a coupon it was a great deal as you can get 3 of them to count.

    • Couponkitty15

I did the Nivea ECB deal, Bought 2 lipcares for $5 and a bodywash for $4.88. The total was $9.88, but the $5 ECB’s still printed. Yay! I had the $3/2 coupon and a $1 coupon….so great deal….2 lipcares and a body wash for 88 cents!

    • Mljdakins

I had $5.10 left to spend to get another gift card.  I went this evening and bought 2 Pantene shampoos, but my gift card didn’t print.  What should I do?

      • Michelledalton36

I had a similar problem.I went last night and 1st trans bought 3 herbal shampoo @3/9.99 , 2 pks duracell 8 ct battery @ 5.99ea ,3 hershey stand up bag $3 ea = $31 total…no card said I had $12 nedded $18 more? All these were on $30 card deal.So I did 3 aussie shamp @3/$9.99, 2 crest @3.50 ea., and 2 pantene @$3,33 ea and 2 more hershey stand up bags @ $3 ea and it still said I needed $6 more to reach $30. He gave me a $10 card  anyway but I really should have had 2 cards and actuallynever reached the first according to my receipt.
