Here are all the deals starting this Sunday in CVS. It’s not thrilling compared to Black Friday, but at least there is one freebie.

My favorite thing this week is the Gift Cared Promotion. You can get Tide Detergent for $1.62 each!!

If you see any other deals leave a comment and help us all find them.

my CVS in mid TN was hectic this morning. not nearly enough shopping carts for customers and long lines having to hold merchandise.  only bought about 5-6 items and went to Walgreens ———–which was the same!  Thanksgiving Day.

      • Doug

My CVS wasn’t bad at all.  They actually had almost all of the free stuff set up right at the front door and everyone was really good about helping other people out.  We were in and out in about 30 minutes…wasn’t even a line.

Any chance your mid TN CVS was in Hendersonville, TN? Ours was pretty crowded and the shopping carts disappeared within minutes of opening! However, people in general were very friendly and getting into the spirit helping each other find items. :)

      • Went to CVS in north Columbia this am.  Got the last cart at 8:30.  Got all the deals i was ofter except the nail polish.  I was really organized and had my transactions divided and coupons organized.  From the time stamps on my recipits I was done in less than 5 minutes.  Much shorter than people in front of me.  I thanked clerk for her help.

    • Srgordon

Happy gobble gobble day to everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know there is also a $2/2 any glade products cvs coupon which would make for a money making scenerio as long as you have fillers or a good cvs cashier.

      • Doug

        Thanks.

    • Britt

Shopped at CVS in Louisville, KY today. Store was busy. I got most of the deals I wanted. There were a few grabby people. Also, one lady had loaded up 2 carts with the free deals. The thing is she had four or more of the free items in her cart. I am all for everyone getting a great deal, but the ad did say, “one per household”. Not sure that she could prove that she was shopping for multiple households, but maybe. Its just frustrating when there were other people who wanted the deals she had in her cart.

      • I think hoarding the deals like that is unfair too but I’m pretty sure the “1 per household” is referring to the ECB you get back. You can buy as many as you want but will only get the ECB back for that limited number. Maybe she had more than one Extra Care Card and was getting all the ECB on each one. I hate that people take advantage like that but I like to believe in karma!

      • NewMommy2

Omg. I know I saw an older lady put about 4 Breathe right strips in her cart. im thinking “1 per household” & I only wanted the 1 lol

    • Angelmj1019

I had a great trip to CVS tonight.  I went in with the thought that at least half of the freebies would be gone, but to my surprise, only 1 was (the Be Kool Strips).  Unfortunately I was so tired I forgot to use my coupons, lol.  But no biggie, I’ll just pass them along to a friend who hasn’t been yet. The store was pretty much empty which made it that much better.  Happy Thanksgiving!!

      • DianneL

Call or go back in your store. My CVS will let me take in coupons I didn’t have with me at time of purchase and buy them from me! Good luck!

    • Happy Feet

Had a blast at my CVS… people helped each other bec. our store wasn’t ready and nothing was posted… weird… Purchased $126 … paid $6.67… Left with $16 EB’s….

    • Sealine75

I went to CVS twice today.  Once around 7am and I was the only one in the store.  I spent $19 and left with $25 in extrabucks (I’m not one to do a bunch of transactions plus I had a $5 off $20).  Then I went back later tonight to get some sodas and ice cream for my hubby (boy did he hear about it because ice cream was NOT on sale!).  Anyway, picked up more deals I didn’t get this morning, used my extrabucks and spent $0.97 and took home another $16 in extrabucks.  Only a few people in the store this evening, tons of stuff left.  Only item I couldn’t find that I wanted was the tissues.

      • NewMommy2

Gosh, where do you live bc I went to 4 different CVS’s on my way home from Toys R Us & none of them had the Theraflu. 2 out of 4 had the breathe right strips, 1 had the Kleenex. I’m disappointed!!! And NONE of them had any softsoap hand soap (I have a rain check)

        • Sealine75

I’m in Melbourne Florida.  I stopped in again this morning before work for the few remaining deals I decided I did want (plus found the tissues).  I spent my EBs plus $4 oop and took home a bunch more stuff and $19 in EBs.  I love my CVS!

    • Scrap4less

I really enjoyed Cvs today .I went about noon ,we planned to go at 7 but over slept.
We got 122.82 for 8.54 and I have 10.99 left over in ecb .

    • Anonymous

Went to the CVS close to my house late tonight. It’s a small store so quite a few of the deals were gone b/c they didn’t have extra and some they never had in the first place. But I think I still did pretty good. Honestly if I had had too much more to ad to my transactions it would have overwhelmed me. I’m thinking about going to a different store in the morning and seeing if they’ve got any of the stuff I missed out on.

    • Tlwoodbury

Today,  for $22.57 oop,  I was able to pick up a crockpot,  (3) “As Seen on TV” items,  a fabric pill shaver,  (2) Turbie Twist towels,  Phillips earbuds,  batteries,  shampoo, conditioner, L.A. Looks, (4) toothbrushes, (5) candy bars,  flossers,  (2)Listerine pocketpacs,  Finish Quantum,  Kleenex,  (2) Theraflu,  Benefiber,  and Carmex lip balm,  ending up with a $10 Amex gift card to give away as well as $3.99 ECB for next time.  To do this I started with $6 in past ECBs, a $12 gift card,  a $5/$25 coupon,  and Jenny’s system of multiple transactions with the rolling over of ECBs.  Thanks,  Jenny,   and Thanks, CVS!

    • Neverrestranch

Yesterday’s visit to CVS was great.  I got there when the door opened.  They had the deals stacked at the front of the store already, so it was super easy to get everything. (I love my CVS.)  I started with $2 in ECBs, $10 CVS GC, & 2 $5/$25 CVS coupons loaded to my card.  I paid in 4 transactions, had coupons on some of the items, paid around $7 OOP including tax and a $5 donation to St Judes for $125 worth of stuff and left with $29 ECBs.  Thanks Jenny & CVS!

    • Vicky

Anyone have any extra -$2.00 off Tide? I have never used a coupon buy site or traded. I’m not sure how it all works?
      Thanks for any help!

      • Laura_willoughby08

I have a cpl extras send email

    • Allen5577

Please help… I have the coupon that is – “Free CoverGirl Lip Perfection max $7.50 WYB Olay Smooth Finish facial hair remover duo or Pro-X, Regenerist or Total Effects facial moisturizer, excl Pro-X cleansing device, refills and trial sizes, PG 10/30 (EXP 11/30)”  What can I use along with this one?  Would I be able to use another CG or another Olay with it?  I don’t want to do anything wrong and try to stack coupons that should not be.

      • Kati3878

I would think that you could buy another Olay with it, since the CG is the item that you would get for free. If it was worded like “$10 off when you buy Olay AND CG product” then you would be getting money off of both items, and therefor could not use a second coupon. But I am pretty sure that you wouldn’t be doing anything wrong if you use a coupon for the Olay.
        HTH

        • Allen5577

Thank you, that’s what I was thinking too.  Thank you!

        • Anonymous

I tried using it with a $ off CG Q and the register kept beeping, no matter how the cashier maneuvered. The registers have been reprogrammed to reject stacking, according to the manager. :(

          • Allen5577

yeah I’m thinking I should be able to use another Olay with it though.  I guess I’ll see!

    • Patricia

Just wanted to report the awesome employees that worked last night (Thanksgiving night) at the Bremen GA CVS-they were very nice and helpful although we were there past closing time.

    • Noelwri

      My gift card promo plan…

3 tide for $17.82 minus $6.00 in coupons
4 gain dish soap for $3.96 minus $2.00 in coupons
1 pampers for $8.50 minus free pampers cvs coupon.

      Total before coupons $30.28
Total after coupons $13.78 or $10.29 (depending if free diaper coupon scans for max value of $11.99)

      Get back $10 gift card…so I either pay $3.78 or $0.29.

      • Blossom11588

i dont see the gain dish soap on the list… do you mean the dawn?

    • Jenny Lambeth

Here is my tentative plan for Sunday:
      Puffs Tissues (3) $2.97
      $.25/3 Puffs Q
      Covergirl Lipstain $8.99
      Covergirl Foundation (50% off) $4
      $2.50/2 Covergirl Q
      Pantene Shampoo $3.49
      Pantene Conditioner $3.49
      $3/2 Pantene Q
      (8) Glade Scented Oil Warmer, 1ct, .99
      (4) $2/2 Winter Collection Glade Q
      Total $30.86
      minus manu Qs
      $17.11
THEN I have (2) $5 ECBs and the $10 gift card from last week making it all FREE + another $10 gift card!
The best part is these are ALL items that we use frequently in our house. I’m so excited!
Thanks, Jenny for all that you do here. You have helped save our family lots of money by making me a motivated couponer.

      • Lucy

        “(8) Glade Scented Oil Warmer, 1ct, .99(4) $2/2 Winter Collection Glade Q”

The Glade Scented Oil Warmer is just the warming unit.  It does not come with any fragrance product so unfortunately it is not part of any of the Glade “Collection” lines.  The $2/2 Winter Collection Glade coupon won’t work for the oil warmer.

        • Jenny Lambeth

Darn. Oh, well, I guess I’ll buy the Glade Scented Oil Refills instead. :)

        • Shelly

Are you the Coupon Police??  You are constantly doing stuff like this!

        • Debbie Trueblood

Thanks for clarifying – that way we’re not embarassed at the checkout!

      • Jenny Lambeth

Here’s how it actually played out for me today:

Started with $5 ECB & $5 ECB (Beauty Club)
        (2) Free $5 CVS eGift Cards

        Pantene Shampoo $3.49
        Pantene Conditioner $3.49
        -$3/2 Pantene Manu Q
        (4) Glade Scented Oil Base (@ .99 each) $3.96
        (2) -$2/2 CVS Glade Q
        Covergirl Foundation (@ B1G1 50% off) $7.99, $3.99
        -$2.50/2 CG Manu Q
        (2) Cottonelle 42 Count Wipes (@ 1.99 each) $3.98
        -$.50/2 Cottonelle Q
        (2) Glade Scented Oil 2 Pack Refills (@ $4 each) $8
        -$1/2 Glade Manu Q

        -$5 ECB
        -$5 ECB Beauty Club
        -$10 eGift Card

        OOP $3.90 + tax ($5.85)
        Received $10 CVS gift card

        Saved: $36.87

*I did have to break these up into 2 transactions because the $2/2 CVS Glade Q specifically said 1 per transaction.
*My store didn’t have ANY of the Glade Winter Collection so I couldn’t use many Qs for that.

    • Christina

For everyone who had a great trip to CVS and got all the great deals I wanted to ask that they complete the surveys at the bottom of their receipts.  My CVS is awesome and the store manager is so awesome and helpful.  Please give your stores the feed back they deserve.

    • found tearpad q at rite-aid today for B2G1 free mars singles, paired with next weeks sale at CVS makes 2 free when you buy one and counts toward $30 gc. when used with current black friday sale makes one candy bar a $0.75 moneymaker. if you are a rite-aid shopper keep an eye out for tearpad. saw it at 2 different stores near snack foods.

    • Gintay23

I got all the CVS freebies plus a crock pot for just a few bucks out of my pocket!  I love my CVS!  All the employees working and the other couponers were an amazing help!  Thanks Jenny!  And THANK YOU CVS!

    • Anonymous

Next week’s deals are great with the coupon I got on Black Friday from the CVS coupon machine.  $4 off a Nature Made vitamin.  With 2 MCs and buying 2 of them and them participating in the gift card deal, it will be a really great deal!

      • Surfergirl8989

Ive looked through all my coupons and cant find a mfc. coupons for nature made vitamins where did u find yours?

        • Debbie Trueblood

She got it from the CVS coupon machine.  Inside the store.  Scan your card, you get offers.

          • Surfergirl8989

            Oh ok thanks guys!

        • Anonymous

Found some &1 blinkies at Walgreens recently. Plus, if you enter the product codes on the Nature Made website, you can earn $7 MQs fairly quickly.

    • Bmyvalentine96

Can you stack CVS Store coupons that you print from the CVS website with an MQ?  I tried to do that tonight with the Cogate toothpaste and the cashier said I couldn’t use the CVS coupon.

      • Me again

I had that one too but it started with a “5” which means it is a MF Q even though it was printed from CVS site.  CVS store Q’s usually start with  a “4”

      • Anonymous

I’ve had that before, but the coupon clearly said “CVS/pharmacy” on the top, not an MC, and the cashier corrected it for me and entered it manually after I pointed that out to her.

      • Rachel Ellis

I haven’t had a problem stacking a manufacturer with a store coupon. Sometimes they are tricky and the coupon will say redeem at CVS but the top bar of the coupons says manufacturer’s coupon. You can only use that as a manufacturer coupon but you don’t have to use it at CVS since it is a manu coup it can be redeemed anywhere.

    • Tara

Where do you get the CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine?  I searched the store yesterday and could not find it.

      • Abc79teach

In my store it is up front by the door where the carts are and where they have the daily newspaper and free magazines. HTH

      • Rachel Ellis

In my store they are in the beauty section towards the front where all the newly released makeups usually go.

    • babyonway

If you buy the nature made vitamins (B1G1) do both items count towards the $30 giftcard promo?

      • Anonymous

No. The 2nd one will ring up as zero.

    • Nickem1377

cant find the coupon in the SS 11/13 for the Xtra 2x Laundry Detergent 28 loads $1.49
-$1/2 Xtra laundry detergent, SS 11/13
(makes it 99¢ ea.) has any body found this one.

      • Livideuphoria

Yes, I’m in South FL and we got it

        • Nickem1377

I still can not find it and maybe I’m over looking it but i dont know. what does the coupon look like?

    • Me again

I went to CVS with my mother and aunt on Thanksgiving afternoon…(I went twice)…together we got over $500 worth of stuff and spent about $18 and left with $70+ ECB’s.  It was an awesome trip!  My mother and I both called the 800 number to tell them how wonderful Nick was!

    • Kacey

I can’t find the .50/2 for the campbells Spaghettio’s.  Whats the zip I can find it under?

    • Lynn2

I’ve never really shopped here.  Do I get the gift card at check out or do they send it by mail?

      • terry

Can you use the gift card anywhere?

        • Cew2

they have different cards to choose from. pick the american express card if they have it so you can use it anywhere.

      • tltusin

They give you the $10 gas gift card right there at the end of your transaction.  At my CVS they have a choice of Shell and some one else.  I always take the Shell gift card since there’s one on my way to work.

      • tltusin

      • It prints out on your receipt. Tell them you want to go ahead and pick your card out before you leave. My CVS have the ones that are included in the promotion behind the counter.

    • Tanyak1128

Are you sure that you can get a gift card if your total is less than $30 after coupons?

      • I have done it every week since they have done the promotion. My first week was 1.22 OOP and I got the $10 card. It is based on RETAIL value, not after ECB and coupons. :) It is really fun!

        • Tduncan6

          Hi,
Would you mind posting your deals? Thanks.

        • Tanyak1128

Thanks!  Do you shop in Clinton?  I’m from there too!

      • Liz

        yep it works beautifully!

I printed the $2/2 Glade coupon mentioned here, sad to see it expires tomorrow.  I don’t think I’ll be able to make it there by Sunday.  But then I went to the CVS website, and there I was able to print a $2/2 Glade product coupon.  It says it is a CVS coupon, but on closer inspection it looks like it is really a manufacturer q.  Still, it does not expire until 12/26

      • Srgordon

Mine $2/2 that I printed from their website states CVS/Pharmacy so it is a CVS coupon that can be used with the other coupon.

        • Cayacoup

That’s what I thought. I didn’t pay attention to the barcode. Way complicated!

      • Cayacoup

12  Glade Air Freshener, $.99  (to be split up between me, my parents and a friend relocating to Tampa)
2    Tide Detergent, $5.941  Bounty Paper Towels, 12 pk., $9.99
Used (6) $2/2 Glade cpn (cvs)
                 (12) $.55/1 Glade cpn (mfr)
                 (1) $2/1 Tide cpn (mfr)
                 (1) $1/1 Tide cpn (mfr)
                 (1) $1/1 Bounty cpn (mfr)
Total due: $11.72  (of course I used a couple of ECBs from Thanksgiving day so nothing OOP!)
        Get back: $10 GC!

        • Cayacoup

          That should read:
12  Glade Air Freshener, $.99  (to be split up between me, my parents and a friend relocating to Tampa)2    Tide Detergent, $5.94
          1  Bounty Paper Towels, 12 pk., $9.99

        • Wordexplorer

Will that work since the ad says ont he front page $30 off this page and the glade is on another page and not witht the tide and the bounty?

        • cynthia

which one are you printing out. because it says if included

        • Anonymous

The $2/2 coupon from the CVS website has the look and feel of a mfr coupon even though it says CVS Pharmacy.  It also says “Cannot be combined with any other coupon.”  Will this coupon work with another mfr $0.55/1?

        • Lucy

The Glade coupon on the CVS website is a manufacturer’s coupon.  Although the top of the coupon has CVS/pharmacy, the barcode begins with a “5” and it contains retailer redermption information.  CVS store coupons always have a barcode that begin with “4”.

Even if the $2/2 coupon was store coupon (which it isn’t), the $.55 Glade coupon that you have is probably for the Glade premium spray “Collection” series (Winter or Fall) and it can’t be used on the Glade spray that’s on sale for $.99.

          • Cayacoup

The .55/1 says any and doesn’t specify the collection. So, I don’t know. It rang up fine and worked out to be a moneymaker. I won’t be trying it again though. I try to be one of the honest couponers out there. So, thanks.

    • C_hakes

Is anyone else having problems finding powder Tide?  That is all I use.  I have talked with the district manager and they are not getting it in my area.  Upsets me because  it is one the gift card deal again.  :(

    • Dmillzcoupons

Quick question….. can you use a B1G1 coupon with a B1get 50%off sale? How does that work?

      • Anonymous

Most likely, the coupon will take off the value of the 50% item.

    • Penny Webb

What is # 2 Transaction Complete Multi-Purpose Contact Solution?

    • Couponjulie201

The NatureMade vitamins count?? I’m SO excited. I take the COQ10 which is around $30 a bottle by itself. Yay for gift cards!

      • Tanya

What is that vitamin used for.

        • Couponjulie201

It’s a heart vitamin. Basically an enzyme that your heart uses which generates energy for that muscle.

    • Anonymous

I have 1 more pack of pampers to buy to earn my free pack so I’m gonna grab 1 tomorrow on the gift card deal. I know the system takes a couple of days to update on that deal. When I earn that will the free pack coupon show up on my acct online to print? Also, when I use that q will the pack I get count towards another gift card? That would be awesome.

      • Anonymous

Oh and also has anyone stacked an mq with the free pack q?

        • ab

Q will print at redbox. Yes to both other questions. :)

        • ab

Q will print at redbox. Yes to both other questions. :)

        • Morning214_2002

I tried and since CVS doesn’t do overage when it scanned the free ECB diaper printout it didn’t take off the full amount so it’s a waste of a coupon

        • Ys_Herrera

Yes you can stack man q with free q. Make sure you have other items so they don’t say anything about overage

      • jennaj81

if your Q doesn’t print after about a week, call customer service. I have had to do this 2 times. They will activate it for you and the Q will print within 24-48 hours.

    • Pam74

Can you use your $10 gift card towards the purchase of the 3 packs of Dr. Peppers and still get the $3 ECB?

      • Cew2

        yes

        • Pam74

Woo hoo! Free drinks plus a little extra back! Thanks!!

      • Surfergirl8989

My cvs did not have the dr pepper on sale nor was it in the ad is this a regional deal?

    • NURSEKK

quick question :) do i haft to buy all of the items to equall 30.00 ALL AT ONCE  to get the gift card promotion??? or can i spread it out throughout this week…does cvs/receipt keep up with it?? thks!!

      • Anonymous

Yes you can make multiple transactions at different stores at different times and it’ll keep track at the bottom of your reciept :)

        • Nursekk

          thankyou!!

    • Anonymous

The RP pampers coupon listed above is a Target Q and won’t work at CVS :(

    • Anonymous

If I get a CVS gift card on my second transaction can I use it on my third transaction or is there a waiting period before is activated (like Toys R Us)?

      • Jennifer

When I got my American Express gift card, they said they I wouldn’t be able to immediately use it – there was a problem in the system and it would not work for a few hours. I am betting if you get the CVS gift card, you could use it right away.

        • justme

American express gift cards have a delay. It says can take up to 24 hours. CVS cards activate immediately.

      • tina

yes you can use it right then  thats what i do most weeks:)

    • Jennifer

So, on the Mars candy bars, it is B2G1 free. I have the tearpad coupon, B2G1 free… Am I correct in thinking, I will need a total of 6 candy bars to use 1 coupon? Or would it be 4? I am so confused!

      • Susan

I would say to buy 4 (getting 2 free–one from CVS, one from coupon)

        • Jennifer

          thanks

      • Donna

You only need one coupon per three. Your coupon has nothing to do with there sale. So you will get three for the price of one. If the sale were b1 g1 and u used your b2 g1 coupon they would all be free.

        • Jennifer

          Thanks!

      • ericswifeowensmom

I’ve done this exact deal before at cvs. pick up 3 bars per coupon. you pay for one and get the other 2 for free.

        • Jennifer

          Thank you!

    • Cindycberg

Just want to thank you, Jenny, for doing these transaction suggestions every week.  I use your ideas most of the time and the pharmacists are amazed at how I work the system.  That’s all you girl:)  Anyway, I’m teaching my staff at school and developing a program for our parents to help them save money.  You have been the start of a wonderful skill in my life!!!! I’m so thankful for you and pray a special blessing on you and your family.

I would be interested in hearing about the program you are developing for parents.  If you don’t mind sharing, please send me your email!  Thanks!

when i click the link for the $3 off coupon for the lysol starter kit all i see is the $0.75 off am i just overlooking it?

      • Liz

it’s on the front page of the smart source from 11/6.

    • Guest

Just stopped at a 24hr CVS on my way home, and I used my $41 in ECB from Black Friday to stock up on some items.
       I bought:
      10 Pantene (5 each) shampoos and conditioners used 5 $3/2  Q
       5 Tide used 5 $2 off Q
      Paid under $4 OOP.
(I had to do 2 separate transactions because the limit for like coupons was 4.)

got back 2 $10 GC. So happy!

      • Savebigrose

if the limit on the samecoupon was 4 how did u use 5.. ws it ok?? like this deal! and i have lots of ecbs from frid..

    • Dmillzcoupons

She has a list of filler items is that for the gift card promotion? Or what are they for

    • I M Cool

Would I be able to use the Salma Hayek Coupon in the Fall CVS booklet with the Red Machine $3 off body lotion if I purchase the lotions in her line?

      • coupons4kids

Yep, I think you should be able to.

    • Lisa

When it comes to household goods like laundry detergent typically how much do you have stockpiled? I began couponing in July and with so many great detergent deals I’m wondering where I should draw the line.

      • LOL…I draw the line when My shelf which maybe holds 5/6 bottles is full…I tend to do 4-6 loads of laundry a week so 1 bottle lasts me about a month maybe a little under depending on the size…..But it’s really your call….I found my first year of couponing to be a good gauge of of how the second years sales went too. Just depends how much you use but if you can get it for $1-2 for say Tide…..I say you can never have enough of that…LOL!

        • Lisa

Thanks, and yes I did pick up the Tide this morning:)

      • Tanya

If it is free or close to free erase the line.  There is always someone you can give it to. I would rather get a nice gift basket with cleaning products like laundry detergents than a fruit cake any day for Christmas!!!

        • There is a local company to me that helps seniors stay in their home longer, they put out a call this time for an “adopt a senior”.  These seniors always put on their wish list things like lotion, dish soap, body soap, the basics.  This group often is left out at the holidays it has been fun to share this year from my stockpile.

      • I actually write on the bottles the date I start using them to judge about how much I should stockpile.  We go through just about a bottle a month.  For me stockpiling for only 6-12 weeks, is really just buying an extra one or two.  However I figure about a years usage was about what I felt comfortable with having on hand.  I like that I don’t really have to worry about this item for a good long time.  I also have donated quite a few to senior organizations to help out when I can.

      • tina

i can only use tide for me everything else breaks me out so at 2.00 a bottle ill get 10 thats the lowest price ive seen on tide but we have a family of five and go through a bottle in no time

    • Stephaniecelie

Does anyone know if the the pampers jumbo pack counts as a bag or a box? The coupon @bc870be455a0dccb04af70a83fa8edbb:disqus rom p&g 10/30 says $2.00 off off two bags or one box, and I am trying to figure out if 4 packs of pampers would be a good deal with the gift card promotion. Thanks!

      • Hope

The jumbo packs are the bags. You only need to get 3 bags and $1.50 of something else that counts toward it to get the git card promo. With coupons it’s definitely a good deal

    • Ghostcutter

First time poster, long time reader.  If you got the Thanksgiving newspaper there was a Black Friday Duracell ad for $3/2.  This should make the Duracell deal much better.  Hope this helps someone.

    • Hope

The Pampers deal at my CVS (North FL) is $9.50 per jumbo pack, not $8.50. Still though, I think I did well-Pampers x 3 @ $28.50, 3 Skinny Cow candies @ $1.19 (1 was free) Used $2/2 bags of Pampers, $1.50/1 Pampers and $5 ECB I already had and got the $10 gift card.

    • Carolyn

Thanks for another great match-up! Here is what I did:

      Tide liquid $5.94
      Gain liquid $5.94
      Pantene shampoo $3.49
      Pantene conditioner $3.49
      Pantene hair spray $3.49
      Glade room spray $0.99
      Glade room spray $0.99
      Cover Girl single shadow $3.89
Cover girl single shadow $1.94 (BOGO 50%)
CVS travel-sized cotton swabs (filler item thrown in at last minute b/c the register was in the negative after coupons) $0.67

      Used
      $5/$25 CVS coupon
      -$2 Tide coupon
      -$0.50 Gain coupon
      -$2/2 Pantene coupon
      -$1/1 Pantene coupon
      -$2/2 Glade products coupon
      -$2.50/2 Cover Girl products coupon

      Paid with ECBs from Black Friday sales ($4.99, $5.99, $1.50, $1.87) = $2.30 OOP ($.49 subtotal + $1.81 tax)

…and I got a $10 CVS card back for spending $30 on designated items!

    • Kellyjl19595

Does anyone know of a CVS in the Columbia, SC area that has the Xtra detergent in the stain release oxi clean. I went to two, they only had the scented ones. Thanks

      • Jennifer

I’m headed to the Cayce CVS near Bi-lo in just a bit, I’ll look there for you.

        • Jennifer

I looked, they only had the scented ones. It didn’t look like they carry the oxi.

          • Kellyjl19595

            Thanks for looking.

    • Happyfeet

      Black Friday:  Purchased $126.76 … paid $6.81… came home with $16 EB’s and a $5 from Beauty… :o)  Happy Thanksgiving!

      • anon

wish people would stop cluttering this weekly deal w/thanksgiving posts, that was lastweeks deals

    • Rachel

A great Week for CVS! Thank you Jenny & Southern Savers~

      • tina

yo u should be really close to getting a second gift card right?

        • di

yeah she should have got a 2nd one

          • Ash0185

Hope you didn’t buy those items in one transaction because after using four like coupons you will lose some of the coupon value. In other words it should have been 4 tides on one 4 dawn on one (get my flow) to avoid the discounted coupon amount.

            • jennaj81

also because the Dawn and Tide coupons state “limit 4 per transaction”

    • Jennifer

I missed the thanksgiving deals but this week is great!

      I just got
2 fragrance free Tide with 2/$2 off
      1 dawn .50 off
      2 cottonelle wipes .50 off
      3 puffs .25 off
      1 oralb action $3 off
2 cover girl eye shadows $2.50 off

Used $16 previous ECBs, paid $4.16 with tax and got a $10 CVS gift card for later!

      Yay!

    • newbie

Can anyone tell me where to look to see which Duracell batteries are good for the spend $15 get $5ECB? I only see “select” packages.

      • newbie

sorry its for $10 gift card not ECBs

    • MLH

I started off by buying the Complete solution, used 8.99 ecb, got back 8.99 ecb. Then I bought:

      (2) Tide with (2) $2 q
      (2) Cottonelle wipes with (1) .50 q
      (2) Oral B with (2) $3 q
      (2) Dawn with (2) .50 q
      (3) Puffs with (1) .25 q

Used $19 in ecbs from Black Friday and got the $10 GC…Came out to .82 an item! It would have been a better deal had I been able to use my Glade qs but my store didn’t have any of the product the qs were valid for…Still an awesome deal.

    • Sandraslowinski

I just got 5 packs of Pampers diapers from CVS…they paid me $2.50.  Dont ask me how :)

      • ATG

        How?

      • Anonymous

Clearance price maybe?  What kind and size were they?

    • Couponjulie201

I had to do the $30 Gift Card deal first then go to a 2nd CVS to find the Complete solution. But it worked out the same, if not better!

      (2) Naturemade COq10 100 mg – $26.99 (B1G1)
      (4) Dawn Dish Detergeants – $0.99

      Used
      -$.50 off Dawn (4)
      -$2 off Naturemade COq10 IP
-$4 off any Naturemade CVS coupon (ECB machine)
      -12.98 ECB

      Paid $12.61 / Got $10 giftcard

Then I got the Complete Solution for free (.18 left after tax), and got $8.99 ECB back. Love CVS!

    • Sarah

Bought $20 olay regenerist (Christmas gift)and used the CVScoupon machine $3 off $10 lotion as well as the $5 off $20 one I got yesterday. Used the $3 manuf coupon and the free olay body wash when you buy olay regenerist. The olay body wash I got free also gave me $2 RR back. So those two items I got for $9 with $2 back. They also pushed me over the spend $50 in beauty so I got $5 rr back and can also now submit for the $10 olay mail in rebate(bought another olay that was 50% off for 4 dollars)and ALSO got the $10 gift card since I spent $30 on participating products. So I made a profit on expensive items and knocked some gifts out of the way.I usually dont do so well so I was excited!

      • Sarah

also, another good idea for getting the Olay $10 back is to buy those $10 gift sets at walmart and submit for the $9 back in place of the magazine subscription (so getting it for $1). I already sent my receipt in for that so I couldnt count it. I think its allowed because the rebate is from another company (I think the magazine company) and not olay.

        • Sarah

p.s. not positive that the gift sets count so you might want to double check and you would have to get two copies of the receipt

          • Kanddhorton

Exactly…when I phones in and asked they said that the gift sets do Not count toward the $30 MIR. They’re onto us!!

      • Anonymous

I am planning on doing the same exact purchase. Did you get 50% off a second Olay product because the Regenerist counts as the “B1” portion of the “B1G1 50%” CVS sale?

    • $133.30 worth of stuff, sale prices, @CVS for a grand total of $.18… Oop. I
started with about $50 in ECBs from black Friday sales( which was $.0 oop) I now have 17.71
      on a Gift Card left.
      4 Transactions,
      1st was 4 Oral-B Tooth Brushes & 2 tides,
      2nd was 2 TBs & 6 Pant.
      3rd was 4 tides & 2 Pant & contact stuff,
      4th was 3 dawn & 8 Pantene
      Used
      $2 off Tide 10/30 P&G,
      $3/2 11/27 P&G,
      $.50 Dawn 10/30 P&G…
      $3/1 Oral-B 11/27 P&G
Rolled one into the other and used all my ECBs I got from Black Friday deals…Wow, I think I got a high today from all this, lol

    • Deecheers4rv

Anyone having issues with trying to get the CVS giftcard to activate after the 10.00 giftcard slip prints?

      • ericswifeowensmom

i was told it takes a few hours to actually activate after it’s loaded. the cvs card and the amex card are that way.

      • Jnn_horan

You need to have them activate the gift card – they do this by swiping it through the register….sounds like they forgot to do that. Also, they are good to go right after activation.

    • Nikki

Does anyone know if you have Buy Oil of Olay Regenerist get one Cover girl and But one get one Body Wash if they will honor both at CVS?Thanks!

      • Ash0185

        Nikki,

I used it and it works fine. Hope it helps you.

    • cynthia

there are nature made vitamin coupons printing from the coupon center!!!!!!!!!! 2 off, making them free!!!! if you get the 4.49 one at bogo its .49 cents then you can use the other coupons listed on here right?

    • cynthia

Im new to cvs but here is what i thought of please tell me if this would be possible

I buy the 8.99 cleaning solution and get 8.99 ecb
      then #2 transaction i get ;
      2 tide
       2 oral toothbrushes
       2 glade sprays
2 nature made vitamins (a 2 off cvs coupon printed for me today)
       2 dawn dish liquid
total before coupons $30 and change (qualify for gift card)
      total after coupons – $12.84
then if the 6.99 ecb is applied I will only owe $3.85 ! and get the gift card and all the stuff?!?

      • cynthia

i meant to say if the 8.99 ecb is applied

    • cynthia

i would have had the 5 off 25 or more coupon but i didnt print it by saturday :-(

    • Phairplu

Really happy with my CVS trip this morning.  I LOVE Tide and Pantene had a ton of ecb from black Friday deal, so very cool scenario for me.  The cashier was so helpful too, he told me the amount of ecb that he could still take if I had them…love that the stores closest to my home are really couponer friendly and train their staff well.  I am going to write a thank you letter to their corporate (bet they would like more of those) ; )

      • LeAnna

I had such a nasty cashier at our CVS on Thursday.  I have complained about her once-about a year ago when she refused to let me use a Q w/ a clearance item.  She is older-and NEVER nice.  My 17 yo son was w/ me and when we got in car-he commented on how mean she was.  She literally looked at me when finished ringing up order….just glared at me.  I said…’yes’ and she said nothing.  Am I a mind reader?  I told her that the little reader was not showing me anything ….It was all I could do to finish my transactions NICELY and not bless her out!  But I did not want to ruin her Thanksgiving.  I don’t know why the young kids werent working.  I just hate rudeness..especially w/ jobs so hard to find.  I would gladly take her job if she does not want it!

    • canes

got a great deal today………bought 3 crest mouth wash(1 liter) for $6.99 each used:

      $4 off 20 coupon

20% off your entire order(facebook) expired today
      $1.49 ECB
      $5.99 ECB

so cost me $20.97 before coupons, the 20% off coupon took off $3.39.

cost me 10 cents and got back 10 ECB from the crest promotion it ended up being a
      $2.52 MM

    • Alana262

Psssst……My CVS was out of the OralB battery toothbrushes that hang with the big selection of regular toothbrushes.  I was really bummed until I found a OralB “Stages Power” Cinderella handled toothbrush in another section on the same aisle.  It’s part of the deal and the coupon covers it because it is battery operated.  Great stocking stuffers for little girls.

      • Anonymous

wow!  My girls are gonna b beside themselves! Princess toothbrushes??? Oh….my….word :) The world may just stand still ;)

      • Allforthe4leggers

Drat… wish I had seen them before I got the regular ones… my daughter would have loved those :)

      • dr. coupon

Wow, thanks!! My girls love those!

      • Anonymous

Thank you so much!  When I went this morning, CVS was all sold out of the adult toothbrushes, but because of you, I turned around and there were the Princess toothbrushes.  My daughter is going to love these!. I got a Cinderella and an Ariel.  Thank you so much for the heads up.

      • Mayra

Thank you for this info! I went in yesterday and had already read this, got my little girl the Cinderella toothbrush that I’ll use as a stocking stuffer. And it counted towards my $30 GC purchase. Again, THANKS!

    • Jklyles1

bad news..i just used the last of my free purex crystals stockpile and Im totally hooked!!! I haven’t paid full price is a very long time but Im gonna have to put my big girl pants on and fork over the hard earned cash… FULL PRICE!! ughhhhhhhhh

      • Amy T

I think I’m hooked on the Finish quantum that was free on Thursday. That stuff is amazing. It’s true…you really don’t have to rinse your dishes.

        • khanes

I love the Quantum finish and the CVS I went to was out of stock and refused to give me a rain check.

          • NewMommy2

They were not issuing any rain checks for ANY of the Black Friday items. My cvs was out of EVERYTHING and I completely missed out!!! :(:(

            • guest

Not true at my CVS. They did write me rain checks for items they normally carry, and I got one for the Quantum finish, I hope it will be back in stock.

    • kay

hi. does any body use 50 c off  Dawn Power Clean, Bleach alternative or Oxi product coupon in the  cvs- cause i  have a bunch and  i did not see any of that  kind in  there. and will they  use them on regular dawn liquid? thanks

      • Anonymous

I’ve not seen those products either, my guess is that CVS only carries the “basic” types of Dawn.  Since the coupons specify certain products, they should not be used on the the regular kind of Dawn.

        • Anonymous

Agreed.  I have only seen these in the full size.  Using coupons for items other than those specified is wrong.

      • Patwash11

I used mine yesterday with no problems.

        • Couponjulie201

          Me too; no issues.

        • kay

so i can get regular not oxi  dawn  with  the above mentioned coupons?  iam in bluffton  sc and how many can you get? is it limited

        • jennaj81

just because it works doesn’t mean mean you were right to use a coupon for the wrong product–that is coupon fraud. please be more careful in the future because actions like that will eventually ruin couponing for us all.

    • Amy T

I got a coupon for $5 two Almay products on my receipt this morning! Woot! I’m trying to get lots of stocking stuffers for my mom and MIL, so this will help.

      • RLEWIS614

It goes great with the 1 off almay color product that was in the walmart insert awhile back.

    • JillR

I earned enough ECB’s on Thanksgiving day to buy the 13″ TV they had on sale for $94.99 w/ some left over and got a $10 gift card!

    • Lynn

How many internet coupons can I use when they email me $5 off $25.  If I print it more than once can i use it during different transactions

      • Anonymous

No.  It’s attached to your card, and can only be used once.

      • Ladybugpam

one time only.  after that, their register will beep and say you’ve already used that coupon.

    • khanes

Any one else have issues with CVS not wanting to issue a rain check for a dish washing item that they ran out of over Thanksgiving?  The CVS I went refused to issue a rain check and offered instead to call around to another store to see if they had it in stock.  I tried to call their bluff but they refused.  I have not contacted corporate yet.

      • Happy Feet

No one gives rainchecks with Black Friday sales…

        • Kristi

I got rainchecks for all of the items not available at CVS in the Black Friday deals.  She just let me know that some were special orders for Black Friday and I probably wouldn’t be able to get all of them.  But she was willing to write them up (and get writer’s cramp!) for me anyway.  I’m in Columbia, SC.

          • Carrie

I also got rainchecks for all the Black Friday deals at CVS, exept anything that was a trial size.  I’m in Lexington, SC.

        • guest

Not true at my CVS, they gave me rain checks for the black Friday sale, except for items they don’t normally carry (trail theru flu etc.)

      • Mt Cabingirl

CVS in Pigeon Forge TN does not issue rain checks for products that they don’t normally carry.  I was told that the Finish Quantum was special ordered for the sale.  They did however issue rain checks for other items.  In SC, I used my rain checks today and the cashier was surprised that I had them since they were told that during Black Friday sales no rain checks could be issued at all. They honored them with no problem.

    • joette

Yes I prefer to use the powder, but my store manager said they have not had it in a long time. I assume they will not carry it any more. This makes me very sad.

    • joette

Does Anyone out there have xtra laundry detergent coupons. We didnt get any in our paper. Will gladly trade if you have a need for other coupons

      • MK

I will send them to you if they are in the AJC. Let me know :) mk126995@gdn.edu

I would like to get the Olay Regenerist for $20.99 and use the MQ to get the $6 body wash free, then submit for $10/$30 Olay rebate. Any ideas on the cheapest way to qualify with $3.01 more? I guess it could even be another store? TIA!

      • Tiya

Both CVS and Walmart had some Olay face wash and cleansing pads for $3.99. I don’t know if this is national or just my local store in SC.

        • Anonymous

Thanks for the suggestion, but my CVS has the Olay wash B1G50% and I’m not near a Wal-mart. Since the rebate is good through 12/31, I may wait it out. Hopefully, I won’t forget!

    • ashwat

Does anyone know if the Duracell battery $5 ECB when you spend $15 will work in conjunction with the Duracell purchase to count towards the $30 total for the gift card? Kind of confusing but any help is appreciated! :)

      • Anonymous

I don’t think it will…the spend $15/get $5ECB doesn’t have the free gift card “tag” on it, so I think only the $9.99 package will count toward the gift card.  Would be nice if it did, though!

      • Anonymous

It won’t – I bought some of the $9.99 batteries yesterday as part of the gift card deal, and it didn’t show up on my receipt as counting toward the Duracell deal.

      • SouthernMomma

        It does not.

    • Trudy

-$1/2 Xtra laundry detergent, SS 11/13
I’m willing to swap coupons if anyone has some Xtra coupons they are willing to share.  Just let me know what coupons you need :)

    • Anonymous

I didn’t have any ECBs from previous transactions, but I still think I did well..

      3 Tides
      1 Oral-B power toothbrush
      2 Pantenes

    • Shannonboutin

the $5 ECB for Gillette fusion OR  Venus Razor is actually if you Buy 2 not just 1.  totally got tricked at check out!!!

    • tibflava

can I use my ecbs to purchase the amex gift cards?

      • Anonymous

Sorry, ECBs cannot be used to purchase gift cards (as stated on the bottom of the ECBs).

    • MAlbert

I have an expired Gift card receipt 11/18 and two expired ECBs 11/24. Do they still honor them? I am a regular at my store and was sick myself, then had a sick baby and didn’t make it in to shop. I hope they will let me use them…maybe plead for a one time exception. ???

      • LeAnna

I am not sure what the exp gift card receipt is.  You mean you purchased enough to get it-but did not?  As far as the ecb’s go-I would call the store and talk to the manager and ask her/him. I was in the same situation as you a while back-and I worried myself crazy over it.  I called, b/c if I got a negative answer-I figured I would not be throwing my fit in the store..lol.  The mngr was so nice and said -of course they accepted them..  Some stores even accept exp coupons.  I never had the nerve to ask them-but on Thursday I honestly clipped the wrong q for the colgate(thank goodness I had a few xtra)-and the cashier was so nasty to me.   So, I had my answer there.  But then again-she was the same lady who would not let me use coupons on clearance items.  We went round and round that day…she would not ring me up.  The manager was not there.  Finally another clerk said he would ring me up and take the ”blame” if there was any!  But of course there was not.  Good luc.  And do you need any diaper/infanty type q’s….?  I never use mine…I sometimes try to lay them on a  product.  But I would be happy to share w/ someone who wants them

        • Kmattern

LeAnna, if you still have your diaper/wipes Q’s I would love to have them!  Email me at kmattern@cedarville.edu.

      • teddysmom

You should have no issue.  I have misplaced them before, and have rarely had an issue.  Your dates are so close.  I was told by one cashier that their corporate training was to ALWAYS accept them if they expired within a week.  Other cashiers have told me that they will take them within 30 days.  If you get a “bad” cashier, keep them and try a different one or a different store.  We have 3 stores in town, and one is ALWAYS wonderful, where the others are hit or miss.  The cashiers and supervisors have told me it is because they keep getting new managers with different rules.

    • Jaasbury5

can you get up to five gift cards in one transaction or do you have to break them up in different transactions, thanks

      • mommy99

Yes, you can. but you have to do big one transaction though.

    • Happy Feet

What is a “Coupon Train” that is on the blog?

      • ericswifeowensmom

that’s when couponers join a mailing list. you request coupons you’d like, then pass coupons to others that they request. if you join the SS community there are always trains that are being started there.

    • Mea

A note on the Bigelow tea coupon from Earth Fare- although they are manufacturer’s coupons, they do state “redeemable at Earth Fare Stores only”, so YMMV on being able to use them with this sale at CVS.

    • MomOf4

This is a great week to get Pampers and use the CVS buy 6, get 1 free promo.  If you buy enough packs using coupons and the gift card promo, and then wait 2 days for your “free pack” coupon to print you can use that toward another gift card.  I’ve been able to stock up for 14 cents/diaper, which is my diaper price point!

    • bhlj78090

Does anyone know how long it takes to get free pampers diaper jumbo pack coupon? I hit 6 diapers so I’m just waiting almost 2 days I called customer center they told me it takes up to 2 days…

      • MomOf4

It took 2 days for the Huggies to print for me awhile back.  Give it the full 2 days and it should be at the redbox :)

        • bhlj78090

          Thanks!!

    • Katie

I need huggies overnights.  My baby doesn’t fit in pampers.  :(  I have about $40 in ECB’s left from Black Friday and am seriously thinking about being a “bad coupon er.” and just buying diapers even if they aren’t on sale.

      • MomOf4

Can you hold out until the new ad comes out on Thursday?  That way you would know if they are on sale next week :)

        • Stacyannw

you can go to iheartcvs dot com, and it has next weeks ad up already

      • In my experience you need these regardless of coupons :)  Use ECB just enough to get you through until there is a coupon match up.

      • Rosey4u8

There is a $3 off any coupon in the new cvs reinventing beauty magazine for the slip on and also a q for. saving star

    • Katiebethhansen

Question for the experienced CVS shoppers out there; If I buy something that’s 19.99 but I’m supposed to spend 20.00 to get the ECB deal will they still count it?  Thanks!

      • MomOf4

It should.  If it doesn’t you can buy something in the next transaction.  Usually those deals are culmulative throughout the week.

        • Stacyannw

i have never had a problem with this, i buy things that are say 19.99 and you need 20.00 and my ecb print, also i have spent 29.99 and the gift card coupon still prints

      • Amber, NC

usually, but there’s no guarantee. Rumor is that you have to spend at least 98% of the stated total. (ex: $19.96 of $20).

not at our store always pick up a candy bar or gum to make sure

      • Phonebookqueen

I did this the other day and was .25 short and was still able to get the gc

      • Couponjulie201

I’ve had both happen to me. I’ve been a couple cents short (like 1 or 2) on a buy $10 and not had the ECB print. I’ve also had deals where the item I bought was on sale for say, $9.99, but the higher non-sale price is what got counted toward the max to get the ECB. I think it’s a YMMV.

    • kellync

I have B1G1F coupons for the skinny cow candy bars. Does that mean I can get 3 and only pay for 2 because they are B2G1F or do I have to get 4 and pay for 2 of them?

    • Anonymous

i am so glad and thank ful for my cvs .the people are just great and i always do better there than w mart /ive tryed//// got 3tides 2 pantene hair sprays 6 dawns used my coupons cost 8.32 and got a 10.00 gift card back .i used my pand g oct before they run out nov 30 my tide was 2.50 off each .50 off dawns and 3.00 off sprays .

    • Just wanted to share this story… When I made my weekly trip to CVS, the cashier told me that last Thursday (first day of the black friday sale) a couponer insisted on making 32 separate transactions on all the ecb items she was purchasing and kept the clerk tied up at one of only two front registers for 2 hours. This behavior was sooo inconsiderate of other shoppers, not to mention that poor clerk and it reflects badly on the rest of us couponers in general. If I were the store manager, I would have put a limit on the number of transactions per visit that day or sent the customer to the back of the line for each transaction.  Is it any wonder we get that look from cashiers from time to time, that says, “oh no, here comes another one with a coupon!”  For the life of me, I can’t figure out why someone would think they needed to do so many transactions anyway. This would take all the joy out of shopping or getting a deal if you made it so much of an ordeal for yourself and the employees in the store. just my two cents…

      • KEB2009

some people are taking this “game” a little too far and that customer sounds like one of those.

if this is a “game” to you then you need a reality check.

      • Couponjunkie

My SIL went Wednesday night at 11:30 to get all the good deals and spent 3 hours and 15 minutes in line watiting to check out.  The line wrapped all the way back to the pharmacy. She said one lady spent 45 minutes checking out.  I went Friday afternoon and got everything (except 2 items) on my list, no line and no sleep lost.

      • Jen

I went at midnight on wednesday night. I did many transactions and with 2 cards–but I was the ONLY one in the store. And then I was almost done with my second card and someone came to check out. I was gonna let him go in front of me but they opened a new register for me. They are very coupon friendly at my store and they even take expired coupons!

      • Couponjulie201

I did 8 transactions Thanksgiving morning; I stood off to the side before checking out and organized everything in my cart into piles with matched coupons to make it go as painlessly as possible. There was another couponer checking out at the other register, fewer transactions but the second someone stepped behind either of us (happened only once each) we wrapped the current transaction up and told them to go ahead. Based on my receipts, my transactions took a total of 10-15 min. This was the MOST I’ve ever done; I can’t imagine taking up 45 min or doing even 10+ transactions.

      • guest

I have never made 32 transactions….but I have had a lot of cashiers make mistakes on my orders….so I don’t blame the shopper for taking her time. However, I do think it is gracious to step out of line and let others with limited items pass through.  As for it reflecting on couponers in general – I don’t really think it matters.  Most of the cashiers I have met in CVS are nice and extremely helpful…the one’s who are not – should find a new profession….just my two cents.

      • Anonymous

me and my mother went to cvs and did 4 transactions each and were out of the cashiers way in no more than 15 minutes and we let a few people cut in inbetween transactions. but at the other register a women awas checking out when we arrived and almost an hour later she was still there doing way to many transactions and still had half a buggie when we left

    • KEB2009

am i the only one whose store has Dr. P 2/$9 and not the $3.67 with $3 back?

      • Tinaallen9

Dr p wasn’t on sale at all at my store. Wasted a trip tonight.

    • Ambedelia

Learned something new at CVS today. I asked for a raincheck on the Complete Multi-Purpose Solution 12 oz. The cashier asked if there were any of that brand on the shelf. I replied that the 12 oz. was sold out, but there were the travel sizes and the double package. She said that CVS tries NOT to give out rainchecks and that she could substitute the double package for the same price ($8.99) and I would also get $9 in ECBs. Score!

Question…for the free gift card deal….is it the total before or after your coupons?

      • Anonymous

        before

    • Nolee4Christ

Question:  I have a 25% off coupon from my CVS account.  It says it is not valid for sale or promotional items.  Could I still use it for the gift card promo?  If not, any suggestions?

      • Barbara

As long as the items are regular price it should work. I tried using mine and was told if the item is counted as any kind of sale it wouldn’t work. Not sure if any of the gift card deals are not considered sale price….good luck!

Just wanted to share the scenario I did yesterday to get my $10 gift card. I didn’t have all the Tide coupons, so I adjusted things to have as little oop as possible.
      Here is what I got:
      1 Tide used $2/1
      2 Pantene used $3/2
3 Puffs with Vicks tissues used B2G1
      3 Dawn used 3-.50/1
      2 Nature made vitamin C (had a $4/1 & $2/1 cvs Q’s) 2-$1/1
1 Oral B battery operated toothbrush used $3/1
Also used $8.50 in ecb’s from previous week
Paid $7.70 oop and got $10 gift card
Realized after I got home I was charged for 4 dawns and I could have
gotten to my $30 mark without purchasing any of those-my oop could have been around $3!

The glade q’s from the Sept. ALL YOU EXPIRED on 10/21/2011

Just left CVS, total before swiping my CVS card and was $133.00, after swiping total went to $84, after coupons was down to $50.54 and got my $10 giftcard. I was ECSTATIC!!!! I LOVE SAVING!!!

      • Linda

awesome work..am  new to all this..could you tell me how you got coupons on your card that were worth $49.00 dollars.  would love some ideas  THANKS…

    • Natalie87

Just to let everyone know, the $1.50 off Pampers diapers, 40 ct.+, RP 10/30 is actually a target coupon :(  I let my PG coupons expire so no good diaper deals for me!

    • Margoren

Well, I called CVS to complain about a shift manager in Hampton, VA, who insists that you have to spend $30 after coupons and ECBs to get giftcard. Maybe manuf. coupons but ECBs, she has to be kidding, but she wasn’t. She said it did not matter the fine print did not specifiy one way or another. She said it has ALWAYS been that way at CVS. She was so rude/loud in front of other customers. But she has always been mean to customers and employees. I saw an employee with tears once because of how mean she was. So I had to call to complain. They said they would pass info to regional manager. I am hoping they will do something about this… From now on, I will call before I go, if she is there, I will not…

      • Sandra

The computer should print it out whether she agrees with it or NOT!!

      • Tamra

So not true! The computer prints out the $10.00, and it looks just like the ECB.

    • J M Bush

Does anyone know the closest CVS to Columbia, SC that had the $3 ECB’s wyb (3) Dr. Pepper at $4.50 each in their ad. I tried to do ad match at Walmart in Columbia, SC & I didn’t have an ad with it in it, & Walmart’s copy of CVS ad didn’t have them in there either????

    • tarheelpat

There’s a $5 off $20 coupon in some newspapers including the Charlotte Observer.  Unfortunately, it expires tomorrow. Anyone who hasn’t done the gift card shopping (including me) might find in useful.

    • Carolyn

I just made a quick trip to CVS to use up some ECBs that were about to expire for stocking stuffers. I bought:

2 – Revlon Crazy Shine buffers at $3.59 each
1 – box of candy canes

The buffers had $1 off peelies on them, and I had sent the 25% off coupon to my card. I paid with ECBs and $0.79 from a $10 GC I earned last week = $0 OOP.

HOWEVER, the ECBs for both the Revlon and candy canes didn’t print at first. The manager was super sweet and thought maybe the buffers didn’t count as “beauty tools” — but the peelies on them said “SAVE $1 NOW ON THIS REVLON BEAUTY TOOL” so she agreed they were beauty tools.

Then she thought maybe they didn’t print because I had applied the 25% off coupon to this order, but she consulted with another manager who said they should have printed anyway. She went to print one ECB manually (for $7.27), but the computer rounded it up to $8. :)

      • Carolyn

whoops…meant to post this elsewhere :)
