Where do you get the CVS coupon sheets or books? Thanks!

      • Ketta

I have wondered the same thing.  Have checked at CVS.com and have asked at my local store.  So far can find out nothing at all.  At the store I was told all of the coupons come from the price scanner.  Does anyone have some light to shed on this?

      • Danyeln

I found them in my store lying on a shelf in the make up area about 2 weeks ago.  Some folks said they found them in the same rack with the weekly ads.  Although this was all around 2 weeks ago so they may well all be gone.

        • Gillyp3864

Thesee are the sheets in the Reinventing Beauty CVS magazines. Sometimes the folks in the stores will pull them and lay them out for customers-otherwise, you can buy the mag with em in there.

          • CouponNewbie

I called my CVS about the coupon sheets.  My store just put those sheets behind the counter, and made them available to anyone who ASKED for them.  Who knew?  If I never called, I would have not known.  Anyway, sure enough, next time I went in and asked for the sheet, they gave it to me! :)  Hope that helps.

    • Sarah

aww, hard to “stock up” on my beloved pantene when the limit is 1 :(

      • Guest

        i feel your pain!

      • Freemn4

I don't know if you have a hubby or mom or someone else you could enlist with a card to get a second Pantene.  I asked at CVS and they said my hubby could sign up for a card also.  We now have 2 cards in our household in order to get 2 of the weekly deals.

        • Trina

I did the same thing the two card deal, but my mgr. told me technically CVS policy is one card per HOUSEHOLD not per person.

      • Vjshows

don't know if you have a rite-aid near by but they have pantene 2/$5 thru 28th (i think) i got 4 yesterday &  used $3/2 pantene …makes it $1 per bottle. pretty good deal!

    • laura

      Question about the Aveeno Deal:
Instead of using 2 $1 off for the lotion can I use a $3 off two instead? I'm going to do the B2G1 and was wondering instead of the 2 $1 if I can use $3 off instead?? Thank you!!

      • Bamabobbie

Sounds like it would work to me and better than the 2 $1. off.

        • laura

That's what I thought but I'm still confused if the B2g1 attaches it self to the first two how can I use the $3 off two?

          • Ari0429

It attaches to the free one, you can still use the $3/2

    • Kristan

Is there anything you can think of that I might send you?

      • Jennscaffeinated

I live in Athens, but am in Lenoir city twice a week. :)

      • PJ

U can always buy the q’s from coupon clippers or coupons by dede not expensive at all.  I didn’t get for the nail polish so ordered them only .07 per coupon got 6 and paid .50 handling so less than $1.00 and was able to snag 6 free nail polishes not paid for the $1.00.  I used Coupon Clippers they were here n two days.

    • Ellanaysc

Hi!  Does anyone have any of the coupons for the $1.50/5  SOBE drinks from the 5/1 Pepsi Moments to Save coupon insert.  I am looking for 8 altogether for  a summer donation.  My “wonderful” husband accidentally threw my papers away that week.  You can email me at ellanaysc@yahoo.com and I will send you my adress.  Thanks!

      • millie

that insert expired on 5/21, sorry.

    • Eharris1975

Does anyone know where in the Raleigh/Cary/Durham area you can used expired ECBs?  How expired can they be?  Thanks so much!

    • Michelle B.

Thanks, Jenny, I needed a laugh today and your opening sentence to this week's CVS ad was perfect!

    • Megan

I will just be getting the Honest Tea, I love that stuff!

      • Gillyp3864

So do I-especially the lemon flavored. It saves on my lemon purchases too :)

    • Loyal2disney

I got a $4 off when you buy any diapers and wipes coupon from the redbox last week and it doesn't expire until 6/1.  Makes for a great deal on the Pampers this week!

      • Candace

Look for the $0.99 pack of CVS wipes.  Makes for an even better deal.

      • Crafty_cat_86

I'm doing that too!  I got a $3 off swaddlers/cruisers in one box of baby dry diapers: makes it so I only have to pay for the $1 CVS wipes!!

    • Deonna

I opened the link for $2 off Aveeno facial but it wasn't in the list of coupons on the page. Is there another link?

    • momof3

Looks like a pretty slow week….although the itch cream may come in handy since we live in the south..something to think about

    • Jess

1/2 Nestle Pure Life purified water (Facebook), Anyone else having trouble getting this coupon?

    • Odinvsaver

check your email. i just got a $5 off $25 purchase coupon. use before memorial day!

      • KoopaKoopon

Do you know if your total has to be $25 after coupons to get $5 off?

        • Danyeln

It is before coupons and the ECBs will print on your receipt for use on your next purchase.

        • Odinvsaver

the total is $25 before coupons. just like danyeln said

    • Sheila

I had a couple of Vitamin Water coupons from the tearpad, but they expired 4/24.  Where are people finding the new tearpads?

    • Lacat

What brand are the gas cards?  I asked a cashier at CVS, she said it was Exxon Mobil.  I was wondering if it was a different one each week, or the same one every week.  Thanks

      • Henaomiller

In ohio they said PB this wk!

    • Tonya

i can't seem to find the current cvs ad? i looked all thru the archive and it's no where to be found unless i just keep passing it up? help!! lol

      • Danyeln

click on the box that says CVS at the top of the page.  Scroll down a few posts adn you should see Jenny's post from last Thursday.

    • Guest

Just a heads-up, CVS in Greater Greenville, SC will NOT take expires ECBs.  I just lost $10 because of this new rule:-(

      • Barbara

You might try calling the customer service 800 # to see if they can re-issue them.

      • gjn

When did they expire? Every store has a different policy based on the mgr.

    • Julie

I have a question about the $30 gas card promo (but in general as well).  If you buy  BOGO sales item, what price counts towards the $30?  For example if it is BOGO and the item price is $3.99, do you just get $3.99 credit towards the $30 if you buy 2 or do you get $3.99 + $3.99?

      • Danyeln

You only get the first one counted because the registers automatically ring the free one up at $0.  For instance the Hershey bars are B2G1 at 1.19 this week and also on the gas deal.  You pick up 3 but only 2.38 goes toward your $30 purchase.

      • laBreeze

Last week when I bought the Edy's icecream B1G1, only the price of 1 counted toward the $30 total.

      • Dtcox1

be sure and check where you can use the gas card .before you buy i was going to buy and try sat evening. till i asked today . in v a you have to drive 12 mile to use it thats 22 mile there and back for me not worth the 30.00 this week even with coupons .it says exxon and mobile only on card we dont have a moblle here. lady says they are trying to get shell cards hope so i live 2 mile from a shell will wait .

      • Me

The subtotal before coupons is what counts, so on a B1G1 sale, the subtotal would be $3.99 total for the 2 items, as that was the purchase price.  Any coupons used after the price would not subtract from the total, however.

    • emerson

im gonna go buy the 3 aveeno moisturizing lotions at 30.00 and cvs sent me a 5/25 so ill use the 5/25, 3/2 aveeno, b2get1 -10.00, and 12 in ecb making it free total due tax of 2.70 yeahhhhhhh

      • Katkoupon

Double check your B2G1, mine says $8.99 max.

      • SweetGirl

I am not sure you can use 5$/25, these coupons always for non sale items so Aveeno gives ECB so they consider this item like on sale. Better call them before make plans!!!

        • cs

just checked mine and it doesnt say anything about not using it on sale items. I think your thinking of the % off ones, they always say on non sale items.

        • Freedomspradley1

Only the %off CVS coupons are for non sale items.  You can use the $ off $$ coupons on anything (except Rx, cigs, and alcohol).

    • laBreeze

I clicked the “printable” link to Nestle Pure Life's fb page so I could print the $1/2 coupon listed, but I didn't see a coupon on their fb page…?

    • laBreeze

To Julie:  Last week when I bought the Edy's icecream B1G1, only the price of 1 counted toward the $30 total.

    • sarah

I can't get the b2g1 aveeno coupon page to load. Does anyone know where I can find that coupon? thanks.

      • Anonymous

You have to sigh up to Aveeno.com- fill out a bit of info and then you can get the coupon- don’t forget to backspace 3 times to make it print again:)

      • Srgordon

on recyclebank I think or maybe it was through their website

    • Ddsavingmoney

I'm new at couponing/CVS and have a question.  If I have two coupons for $1/3 and want to use them against this weeks CVS buy 3/$4, do I have to purchase six to use both coupons or can I use both coupons on the original 3?  Good news I've found recently…McDonalds is giving Catalina coupons and 1 is for B1G1 on their fruit smoothies.  My manager is allowing stacking with the one in the Charlotte Observer for $1.00 off the purchase of one.  Ultimately you can get 2 drinks for only $2.00.

      • Danyeln

Yes you will have to buy 6 to use both coupons.  you can only use 1 manufacturer and 1 store coupon per item.  So your $1/3 coupon attaches to all 3 that you purchase.

    • Saviorbucks

I live for these teachable moments when I get to drag my teenager into the drug store to turn a profit on preparation H- the tena pads deal turned her three shades of red! It's good for her constitution. I'm quick to remind her that it may be her that needs this stuff one day!

      • Dixie

That cracks me up–you would have been DRAGGING me literally when I was a teenager!

    • Where does everyone find the Revlon coupons?

      • Ddsavingmoney

I'm pretty sure there were some in the Charlotte Observer a few weeks ago either in RP or SS.  I'm new at this but I assume they must use these publications on some type of regular basis.

      • Srgordon

The SmartSource in 5/8, at the end of the coupon you will see bold two letters and a date giving you the location of the coupon but some are regional and if it doesn't have the bold letters but says printable than it is online

    • Tashia3378

I have a $1off Act mouth wash. I'm not sure what week I got it. I also have a $2 off Act dry mouth if it is included in the ecb. The coupons have no pics on them just writing.

      • emily384

i got my $1 ACT moutwash coupons from a tear pad in my dentist's office.

    • Sjhatcu

I've never done ECB at CVS, just RR at Walgreen's, so maybe things are different, but I am wondering about the Oral B toothbrush deal. The coupon is for $1.50/2 but in order to get the $1 ECB to print out, you would have to do each toothbrush under a different transaction. Which wouldn't allow for the use of the 1.50/2 coupon. Am I wrong in thinking that you can't get two of the same ECB products to print?

      • johne

you are wrong-CVS is not Walgreens. The limit is 2-so you would be able to buy 2 in the same transaction and you would get $2 ECB. They will be combined together into one $2 ECB-but you will indeed get a $2 ECB.

        • Tjmj9801

“CVS is not Walgreens”  and thank God for that!  CVS is sooo much easier than Wags.  I quit Wags after the 2nd week trying, following all the “rules” and still not getting the deals to work out.

          • PJ

Amen to that, I am soooo tired of the poorly trained cashiers & managers, tonight I went to buy the Icy Hot .99 the q is for $1.00 the manager said first oh no we can’t give u this for free, I explained the mftr. will pay you then she said we never take coupons on .05 sizes and I’ve been here since 2003.  I was nice but like mam they have made a lot of changes have you looked at the q policy she said no and didn’t want to look at it she told the cashier well it’s you name not mine if you want to ring it go a head and get n trouble.   I’ve had cashiers increase the price of item to match q (equals increase in my tax) cashiers that refuse to accept valid coupons and cashiers that do it pursuant to the q policy and adjust down.  Just no consistency.

Heads up the Summer Beauty savings at Walgreens u better get if can.  Evidently, they r getting really tuff on cosmetics workers e.g. on Saturdays they must sale 35 of whatever their assigned item is one cashier told me she was buying the stuff her self to stay out of trouble.  Anyways the cashiers are keeping binders & putting all the q’s and Beauty books n there to give to the people that buy their assigned items, or if q for assigned item to help them reach their quota.   Love CVS,  Hating Walgreens

    • johne

Jenny-I guess per your matchups-CVS is only taking one cents off coupon on a B1G1 sale like Rite Aid? Take the Osteo Bi-flex deal for example. It is on sale for B1G1 starting at $17.29 you say “(use $5 off, makes it $12.29 for both)”. We used to be abel to use (2) $5 off coupons making it $7.29 for both-has this now changed?

      • Crafty_cat_86

I think she's playing it safe with how many coupons you actually have.  The “unofficial” coupon policy still says you can use 2 manu. q's for 2 products, even if they're B1G1.

      • Me

CVS registers ring up the sale as one purchased at regular price and one free on the B1G1 free (not both at 1/2 price like many retailers), so the register no longer allows a second coupon as the second item was never purchased. Some stores will still take both, but it is a YMMV  situation

    • Jfrainey05

I have never found this Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet. Any idea where to get it?

      • Lori

I believe that is a booklet found at Kroger.

      • bingmom

I had to ask for it at the pharmacy at Kroger.

      • Dtcox1

asked again in v a they say they have never got a fax on this for their store are any booklets yet …. they think its only some cvs areas

    • Jenn

I did that link you have posted for the first Aveeno coupon and there is no Aveeno coupon once you get through the registration process.  So you'll probably want to remove it.

    • Leticiag30

Jenny,  you made me laugh with your opening sentence :)   Love your sense of humor.

Thanks a lot for everything you do.

    • Jackee Simmons

Not that I have an “ache” or an “itch”, but I do hope some folks “in need” find what they “need” at CVS due to your hard work!  Thanks Jennny!

    • Tera

question about the Flex-A-Min…1. since they are B1G1, can I use 2 store Qs and 2 Manufacturere Qs? and 2. where do you get the CVS coupon sheet? is it out now or is that something from a while back?

      • Tera

DARN!! Never mind, the printable coupon deal is expired! Oh well!

    • Rachelho822

Jenny Thank you for all scenario idea , it does make couponing much easier.

    • Does the Act Rinse includes Kid's Rinse?

    • Crafty_cat_86

FYI, stopped by my CVS today to pick up a coupon and clearance freebies I saw the other day.  My CVS doesn't have any Oral B 6 ck. brush heads in the back, but they wrote me a raincheck for two already (<3 them!).  Anyway, if you've got those $3 refill q's from inside the free brushes a few months ago and you feel like you can roll 20 ECB, I'd expect to get a rain check this week.  If you were wondering if it was agood deal or not, it's AWESOME!  The 3 ct. sells at my CVS for $43.99, and we'd be getting twice that for $7!

    • mommyof1

i want the aveeno deal – the shampoo and conditioners mostly, but cannot find a great scenario as the hair care coupons are not available anymore.. i only have $9 in ecbs.. and my goal is to always spend under $10 at cvs..  other than figuring that out.. this is a slow week for me.

      • missyajg

if you haven't signed up for emails on cvs online they are doing a $4 / $20 purchase coupon for signing up so that aveeno deal will be awesome w that.

    • Crafty_cat_86

If you've got a pregnant friend that you're *super* close to, those prep. H wipes are a life saver after childbirth.  I wish I had the travel paks a few months ago.  Or, give them to a parent/child/pregnancy center.  I'm sure they wouldn't turn their noses up at it!

      • Sarah

        HAHAHA too funny

    • momof2

Just a heads up…. if you need itch relief cream…. I found Hydrocortazone in my local dollar tree for $1!!!!!!!

    • Guest

Glad there are a few good deals this week that I am actually interested in! The last few weeks have been pretty crappy….although I was happy about the nail polish this week :)

    • Shadunn

Can someone tell me where to get the CVS coupon sheet that is mentioned in the ad under the Nature's Bounty B1G1? Is it just somewhere in the store or is it something only  some get? Thanks!

      • G8rLeslie

I got a coupon sheet from CVS with the Nature's Bounty ($3 off) from the cashier. I had to ask for it.

        • Kim

Thank you-I will ask them at the register today.

      • Kim

I also would really like to know this-also where do you get the “save more form your pharmacy” booklet????  I have asked before and no one responds-THANK YOU in advance.

    • Stacyannw

hey if anyone still has their coupon from the Have you tried this yet? Home mailer for the secret clinical strengh that expires on the 31st, my cvs had the trial/travel size of this for 2.99 and my 3.00 off coupon worked with no problem, its not much but u use the coupon and its free.

      • Sarah

how do you get “have you tried this yet?” I never knew how

        • Ssmithet
        • Stacyannw

i signed up for it i think on the p@g website, maybe, i'm not sure but all the coupons expire the 31st of may so they might have something new to sign up for i havent checked yet

    • Sarah

this is technically part of this past week's deal, but I couldn't get to CVS til tonight and got a bunch of rimmel makeup that I only paid tax on. they had some marked 50% and 75% off, so some of their foundation and eyeshadow was only $1-2. and I used my rimmel $3 off coupons. they had some others that were priced around 5 or 6 but I didnt want to pay anything :)

    • Crafty_cat_86

$2.99 for cascade makes it $1.99 with the $1 q.  I think I'm gonna get that, esp. considering we're hating the finish we got a while ago.

      • Crafty_cat_86

–the $1 off cascade product from P and G $110 booklet.

        • dixie

how do you get the p and g $110 booklet ?

          • Carissa

It's no longer available dixie. :( Sorry!

      • donna

If it's the Finish Quatum, you can get your money back.  They have HORRIBLE customer service.

    • Lelibanana

I have a question about the 12 pack coke from the week ending today… if the ad says “buy 3 for $10, get 1 12 pk free – limit 4 (12 pks)” – but it DOESN'T say “per household with card” – does that mean I can get 4 12 ks per transaction that week, or it would be one deal of 4 12 pks per card in that week?
Í bought 4 packs for $10 already, but wanted to go back for more… does anyone know?
      TIA

      • destescoupons

I would think as long as it didn't say one deal per card/household then you are able to get this deal all you want.

        • Lelibanana

          Thanks ;)

      • donna

I would look on the bottom of your receipt.  If it doesn't state anything that has to do with the coke deal on it, then you are able to purchase more.

        • Lelibanana

          Thanks ;)

      • The CVS by my house has a sign hanging up saying limit 1, not sure if that actually adds up on your card or if its a per transaction thing.

    • Cathy

It seems that everyone loves CVS but I have nothing but trouble with the one closest to my home. Today I attempted to purchase 2 Rimmel mascaras because they had a great sale and they were 75% off. I had 2 Rimmel $2 coupons. The coupons are exactly the same – same bar code number and they look exactly the same – except one has the words “Redeemable ONLY at Rite Aid”. CVS wouldn't take the coupon. The manager said they would not be reimbursed. I don't think this is true. Anyone had this experience?

      • missyajg

pretty sure they don’t take competitor coupons.  you can read in jenny’s “learn to coupon” link at the top, then “store policies” (http://www.southernsavers.com/store-policies/) and it lays out what stores take competitor coupons.  I don’t think any drugstores take competitor coupons.

      • donna

They are correct.  Whether the coupon states Manufacturer  coupon or even starts with a “5”, doesn't matter in this case.  The fact that it states ONLY at Rite Aid is the main reason.  If it said reedeemable or available at Rite Aid, then you would be able to use it at CVS.

      • missyajg

Grr I've tried to reply but it is leaving out my link for you.  Jenny has posted which stores take competitor coupons (drugstores don't unless their own name is listed).  Go to “Learn to Coupon”, then “store policies”

      • Cathy

I took these same coupons to another CVS and they took them without question. These were not competitor coupons – they were manufacturer coupons. I've sent an email to CVS to ask about this. Lately a lot of the grocery stores print coupons at checkout that say redeem at “the store name” but they are manufacturer coupons and other groceries take them automatically. I just considered it advertising.

        • Cathy

One more thing and I'll get off this soapbox – the coupon with the “Redeemable ONLY at Rite Aid” scanned without any beeps. The cashier examined the coupons and that's when she saw those words. I had not looked closely at them when I printed them and I didn't realize the words were there.

          • amy

where did you get the rimmel coupon?

      • Me

It really comes down to honesty and true to word couponing.  If the coupon says “ONLY at Rite Aid,” then common sense says ONLY means ONLY…..If the coupon said Pantene Shampoo and you tried to use it on hairspray, it might scan, but it still would not be right….just saying.

        • Cathy

I think there is a difference. The manufacturer would not reimburse for hairspray when the coupon said shampoo but the manufacturer does not care if you get the correct product at CVS or RIte Aid – they just want you to get the product. And what about all those coupons that double at the grocery that clearly say do not double?

          • cs

my grocery store wont take it if it says redeemable only at such and such, they explained to me that the manufacture has a deal with that store for that product and coupon and they would not get remibursed for it.

            • Cathy

OK maybe I'm wrong here. I'll wait to see what CVS corporate says. I use manufacturer coupons that say Bilo at Kroger and vice versa often but they are right across the street from each other and, after the cashier pointed out that it said redeemable only at Rite Aid, I assumed the same applied. I had another just like it and for the same amount without those words so it wasn't a deal exclusively at Rite Aid. I really don't want to cheat anyone out of their money and I really try to strictly follow the guidelines but I likewise don't want some cashier just to say no we can't take it either. This CVS is consistently rude and acts like you're doing something wrong. I had just left Rite Aid where the cashier there (one I had used before) thanked me for using coupons correctly and adhering to policies. Maybe I should stick to Rite Aid, huh?? :-)

            • Elizabeth

Did you check to see if the bar code had the same numbers?

            • Cathy

The barcode numbers were exactly the same.

            • Phatpatswife

CVS does not take competitor coupons at all. I work there, so believe me when I say, there is no give. If it's not a manufacterer or cvs coupon, they don't take them.

            • Cathy

It was a manufacturer coupon. Clearly said manufacturer at the top and it scanned with no beeps. I had 2 coupons – both with the same barcode numbers – only difference was one said Redeemable ONLY at RIte Aid and the other did not have those words.

          • jhoran

Its the store that picking up the tab for the doubling and tripling, not the manufacturer.

      • If a coupon says “Redeem *only* at” whatever store, then you can only use the coupon at that store. If it says “Available at _____” or sometimes even “Redeem at _____” (without the word “only”), then you should be able to use it at another store. In this case, it's not CVS's fault that you weren't able to use the coupon. That's just the way those particular coupons work. Sorry that you had a hard time today, though. That's never fun. :-(

        • I just realized that I was *way* late to this. I should have refreshed my page before replying. Sorry for being redundant guys. LOL.

      • Mvtdeals

I was able to use the same coupons at my CVS for Rimmel- ended up being 7 cents each w/ tax for mascara.  Maybe ask manager how to contact corporate office.  In the past, my CVS would not take coupons for things marked clearance however that is no longer the case so I would assume there was a change at the corporate level.  Hope you can work this out since clearance items + coupons make for some great deals.

    • Keywestbiscuit

What zip code did you use for the LaRoche-Posay coupon? I can't find it.

    • Me

CVS registers ring up the sale as one purchased at regular price and one free on the B1G1 free (not both at 1/2 price like many retailers), so the register no longer allows a second coupon as the second item was never purchased. Some stores will still take both, but it is a YMMV  situation

    • Me

The subtotal before coupons is what counts, so on a B1G1 sale, the subtotal would be $3.99 total for the 2 items, as that was the purchase price.  Any coupons used after the price would not subtract from the total, however.

    • Lelibanana

      Thanks ;)

    • Lelibanana

      Thanks ;)

    • Dawnhon

My AVG is blocking threats from this page. Has anyone else had issues with virus' from this site?

    • Suemac1

I don't see that anyone has caught this deal yet, so I feel like I must be missing something!

$10 ECB when you spend $20 on 14 ct Prevacid, etc. at $5.79. SS 5/22  has a $4 off any Prevacid coupon. If I buy (4) 14 ct. Prevacid at $5.79 = $23.16. Use (4) $4 off coupons and pay $7.16 oop. Get back $10 ECB … money maker!

      • Elizabeth

Looks good, but don't get too happy yet.  It is possible that the Prevacid is more than $5.79 and that another product with a less valuable coupon is what starts at $5.79.  Either way, it looks like a great deal.  Thanks for drawing attention to it.

        • Terrynn34

          14ct Prevacid is $12.49 @ my store.

        • Terrynn34

          14ct Prevacid is $12.49 @ my store.

        • Suemac1

You guys are correct – 14 ct Prevacid is $12.49 so it comes out to $3.50 per box, if you buy 2; still a good deal. My mom has to take 2 per day so I try to get some for her when I find a good deal.

    • Susan

Does CVS and Walgreens start their sales on Saturday afternoon?

      • couponing rocks!

Some CVS stores do – Mine starts after 4:00pm on Saturday.  I would just call your local CVS and ask.  It's a little more difficult because the signs aren't out & there aren't sale ads, but you have a better chance of things being in stock.  I've started going Sat. afternoon and love that I don't have to worry about it after church.

        • Keywestbiscuit

Does that mean that both weeks sales are valid for a couple hours on Saturdays?

    • Eharris1975

Does anyone know where in the Raleigh/Cary/Durham area you can used expired ECBs?  How expired can they be?  Thanks so much!

      • Kardomr

i never have any problems in durham at the store near jordan hs at the end of garrett road.
(it's also near a harris teeter and rite aid, if you want to hit them all at once. :) might be a walgreens there too. )if they question it, just sweetly ask if a manager can show him/her how to put them through. :) it's a nice way of saying, “i know you can do this.” not sure how expired they can be.

        • Eharris1975

          Thanks!

        • Durham Couponer

Thanks… I didn’t know you could use expired ones. I only thought Bed, Bath, & Beyond took expired coupons! (I know ECBs are diff than coupons, but just saying…)

    • couponing rocks!

Here was my trip today.  My plan was to go today and get both this weeks and next weeks sales to make my $25.00 so I could use my 5 off 25.00 coupon.  I should have been able tot get everything free, but since they were out of some things I ended up paying a net of $1.57 including tax.

      Bought:
      1 Snickers .50
      1 – 3 Musketeers .50
      2 Lady Speed Stick Deodorants  = 6.00
      2 Pantene Pro-V Shampoo/Conditioner = 6.97
      3 Smart Waters – 3.00
      2 Fuze = 2.00
      2 Oral B Indicator Toothbrush – 3.98
      1 Preparation H Wipes – 3.99
      1 Green Bag Tag – .99
      Tax – 1.88
      Total before coupons = 29.81
      Coupons
      5 off 25.00
(.99) Free green bag tag (from red machine)
(.25) off 2 candy bars (from red machine)
      (3.00) off 2 – Pantene Pro-V
      (1.50) off 2 Oral B Indicators
      2 (.75) off Speed Stick
      (2.00) off Preparation H

      Total after coupons – 15.57
      ECB's used = (6.99)
      Total OOP = $8.58

      Got 14 ECB's back

      Net Cost:
      ECB's Used 6.99
      + OOP 8.58
      Less: ECB's received: (14.00)
      Net Cost – $1.57

Plus I have a rain check to do the Suave deals when they get them back in stock.  Overall, I was pretty happy.

      • nucouponer

        wow!!! NICE!!! :)

    • Sworley114

where do you get cvs coupon sheet?

    • Kmclem99

if you have a  buy one get one free coupon and then a coupon for a dollar off can you use both coupons

      • Carissa

I've found that it depends on your CVS.

I personally don't attempt it anymore because I hate the hassle I've gotten in the past when a cashier doesn't agree with logic that the B1G1 is discounting the free item and the $off coupon is discounting the full price item. They look at it the same way they look at a $1/2 type coupon. You might want to ask your cashier or manager before you start shopping just to be sure. :) Good luck!!

        • Carissa

In re-reading my comment I want to clarify the logic my store uses, I think it was a little vague/confusing… blame it on the last few days of all-nighters with my teething baby:)

My CVS look at a B1G1 coupon as if it attaches to both products the way a $1/2 coupon does. They say the coupon requires you to buy two items therefore it is attached to both products. I'm not saying either viewpoint is right or wrong. I think it just depends on how they interpret the wording. :)

          Hope that helps! :D

          • Anonymous

I would recommend emailing corporate regarding their coupon policy.  They sent me an email that specifically states that this is ok.  I always bring a copy of the email with me.  It doesn’t matter whether the cashier/manager understand the logic when corporate says that it is a legitimate use of coupons.  hth.

      • PJ

You can use both but on some coupons, e.g. the Nivea that is a buy 2 get one free the coupon has the notorious 14 code n it, which meant that when CVS scanned it the cashier didn't want to let me use the $1 off q on the one(s) I was paying for, She was rude but the mgr. told her to push it thru.  I contacted the mftr and they said it was coded (14) which is where I learned what it meant and that it was for verification not exclusion,,, I said WHHHAaat was that again and they said it was to verify I was buying the required two and that the q attached to two items, but that it was not an exclusion so that they prohibited a coupon for the item I was paying for, they went on to say that all stores computers different and as of todays date no other way for them to code it.  Therefore, when I went to use my $ off on one(s) paying for it looked like I had already used a q on them.  Confusing… but next time I see a 14 coded n my q for a bogo I'm either not going to plan on using the $ off or will just forget about it.

    • Sarahrhoads

Don't know if anyone has msg yet but my CVS has lots of 50-75% off makeup with coupon matchups. Its on the regular makeup isle not clearance.

      • cs

ty for this I pulled alot of coupons for makeup. They only had 3 items though that matched my coupons but got 3 loreal foundation powders for .25 total

    • Guest

For the B2G1 Aveeno coupon..mine says max value $8.99. Will it still work for the $10 lotion deal Jenny has posted? Or will they take off 8.99? Or will it just not scan? TIA!

      • Carissa

At my CVS you can use it for the $10 lotion but they will only take 8.99 off.

      • cs

mine scanned for $8.99 even though the ones i bought were the $6 ones

    • Rachel

How many green bag tags can you scan on each visit?

      • Suemac1

        One per visit per day.

      • FreedomSpradley1

I have two green bag tags because I usually do multiple transactions.  You can only scan each tag once per day.

    • Kim

is anyone else's CVS stores still out of the Bic Soleil Shimmer Razor from the last sale?  i've checked every week since i had to get a rain check & they haven't had them in the 2 stores closest to my house…maybe they'll get a shipment for this week's sale???

      • Guest

I'm not sure. When one of the really great sales was going on a few weeks ago, I asked a manager why they didn't order more of the sale priced item. He said they have to order weeks and weeks in advance. So basically, it's my understanding that they know what will be on sale, but they have no idea if there will be a corresponding coupon.

      • PJ

CVS is awesome about ordering products and getting them n by the next week for u, just ask they come from their local warehouse which usually has lots of stock.  One of the things I love about CVS.

      • cs

one store was out this morning , so i headed to the 24 hour store and surprised they had one. was not able to find any cortaid though

      • Terrynn34

same here, they have been oos since the last sale and they keep filling it in with the disposable ones.

    • Setty_sri

      Hi,

I am unable to print the coupons for Aveeno body or baby and Aveeno sun screen coupons.can anybody try this.

      Thanks&Regards,
      Sri.

      • Shannon

I am also having this problem

    • Moeb07

I'm trying to print the La Roche Posay/Anthelios coupon but it doesn't appear.  Perhaps it's a different zip code.  Can anyone help?  Thsnks!

    • cs

I have to say I love cvs. I have also noticed they have been taking tax off lately when you use ecbs. I spent .25 out of pocket today and saved $112 and still have $10 ecb left

    • Regina Westgate

Am I correct by saying that you can not use competitor coupons at CVS?

      • Gotpaypal

        you are correct

      • FreedomSpradley1

Some CVS stores will take competitor coupons so ask.  I would say it’s only worth your breath if there’s a Walgreens or RiteAid across the street.

    • Amy

Does anyone know if the Benadryl deal is only on the cream or is it the pills also?

    • Pipicriket_79

Where do you get the CVS coupon sheets? And the Kroger home mailer, and the Have you tried this yet home mailer, and the ConAgra Rediscover Family home mailer??

    • Guest

I am pretty excited about my haul today, as it's my biggest yet! So I just had to share!

Total this is what I got (through 3 separate transactions):
      (3) Aveeno lotions
      Bic Soleil starter kit
      Prep H wipes
      (2) Mars candy bars
      (2) Oral B Indicator toothbrushes
      (2) Pantene shampoo/conditioner
1 Hershey bar (was $1 short on my first trans!)

      Total OOP: $2.72
      ECB leftover: $10, $2, $2

I was going to get the Cortaid also, but my CVS does not have it! Just a heads up.

      • Pipicriket_79

Please tell me how!!!! I'm new, and trying to learn all of this! I have had a few good transactions, but not that good! Yesterday I got 3 revlon polishes, and 3 purex detergents for $3.24. Also, do you know what or where the CVS coupon sheet is??? I asked a lady who worked there and she just looked at me like I was crazy. Also there are other ones, I don't know how to get, like the Kroger and P&G home mailers. And thre's one called Have you Tried This Yet home mailer. Help, PLEASE!!

        • jhoran

Cvs coupon sheet is in the “cvs reinventing beauty magazine” which sometimes is located by the register or the beauty section. It cost .99 cents. For the kroger mailer you need to register your card on their website and for the P&G mailer you would need to register also.

          • Amber

I actually have my card registered for Kroger, but I've never received a mailer.  Is it actually mailed (snail mail) to my home or is to my email?  Thanks in advance!

            • You ONLY get the mailer if you spend enough money there each month, AND buy  x amount of Kroger products and are a Plus Member. And then you MAY get it.

            • Amber

Thanks, Kay.  I’m an avid Publix and Bi-Lo shopper, so that might explain it.  I’ve just recently started shopping at Kroger more often.  I buy my gas there all the time though.

            • Anonymous

Its a hit or miss with kroger mailers….they say you will receive the mailer according to your spending habits…whatever that means!!!

            • Amber

Thanks, jhoran!  I’ve just started shopping there more often, so that could explain why I’ve never received them.

    • Sam

I love cvs but some cvs cashiers have been very unhelpful to me.Yesterday when I bought revlon nail polishes, they did not print ecbs,so we wanted to return them.We went immediately and wanted to return them, the cashier refused to take them because I paid the amount wholly with ECBs.IS THAT TRUE?She was very rude to me,very unhelpful just because I use coupons. She is very disappointing everytime I go to cvs.Very excited to see cvs ads but very scaring to face this cashier.happy cvsing

      • Goofy2001

No, you may return items even if it was paid wholly with ECBs, the only difference is that they don't give you money back, the refund is placed on a “money card” which is the same as a gift card.  HTH.

        • Sam

thanks,I returned to another store and they were very nice, they gave my ecbs back.

    • DuncansMom

      ****DUNCAN, SC ALERT****
To the couple who sits in front of the Duncan, SC store every Sunday waiting for it to open and who uses multiple cards each (6). Please stop clearing the shelves like you did this morning with the Preparation H and Bengay. Please leave some for others. Thanks!

      • Gotpaypal

I think I might contact Corporate about them. That is beyond wrong

      • Melanie

Same thing happened to me at Walgreens in TN last week. One woman took ALL the shaving lotion. WRONG! Be considerate to other couponers and leave some products on the shelf!

    • Melanie

Check your local CVS for clearance on Cutter. Mine has 75% off and it makes it 1.50. We have a coupon in RP for 1.50. Makes it free!

    • Cerrcoupon

Just a headse up, I went to CVS today and got the Soleil razor kit, and it had a pair of cute headphones on it, FREE!!!!!! Also, They had a dispenser in the feminine products isle for a FREE sample of Carefree panty liner, with a coupon inside! But you need your CVS card to get it, so it says.

      • Sillysnicks

I found the Soleil razors with the headphones, too.  They were in a display on the top shelf in the beauty section.  Thanks for letting me know they were out there!

    • Sue

I received an e-mail from RightatHome last week with a link to a coupon for $1 off any Glade product.  Glade air fresheners are on sale for $0.99 this week, so I got two for free.

    • emerson

i usually shop cvs on mondays but needed milk on my way home on sat and the sale had overlapped for next week. I bought 2 aveeno lotions at 7 ea and one at 10. well when the trans was over and i had given him all my coupons and ecbs he said i had a ten ecb but only 8 left so i added four candy bars at 50ea well not realizing i still needed 1 more for aveeno. I though i was buying 2 $10aveeno and 1 $7. would it be wrong to return one of the $7 dollar ones and then turn around and buy another $10 cause my 10ecb didnt print do to my stupidity at the moment.:)

      • cs

I don't think it would be wrong. I have done this before at riteaid. Took back an aveeno item and exchanged it for a higher priced item to get the reward.

      • Ginger

you have every right to take it back and take a second try at the transaction..it is the only way you learn!

    • Keywestbiscuit

Are register rewards and ECB's included in the Florida state law that forbids expiration dates on gift certificates?

      • Jenifer1999

Probably not, as they are coupons not gift certificates.

    • Shelleytk1969

What is the zip code for lady speed stick? It did not show up for me.

    • Kim

      …worked the Aveeno deal pretty hard… 3 Intense Night Creams @  $7ea + 1 Daily Moisterizer @ $6… used a BOGO, $3/2, $2/1, $1/1, $3.99 RR from the Prep H, $4 start up Extra Care – paid $7.83, received $10RR, net -$2.37.

    • Maximus Aurelius

I'm not sure if I'm the only person who found the Oral-B electric toothbrush replacement heads deal exciting, but I do.

These items fit the Oral-B electric toothbrushes that were very nearly free at CVS during a sale last year. Those of you who took advantage of that deal probably found a -$3 off any 3 pk or larger replacement brush heads coupon included. Using those coupons, and netting the $20 ECBs, today I bought two of the 6 packs for a total of $14. For a comparison, Costco sells an 8 pk replacement for $45, or $36 on sale. This is a serious deal, people!

    • SS 5/01 has a .50 off Speed Stick coupon. It's not on this list, or in the database.

    • Mcleodsc

Bad day at CVS-I was there about 5 minutes after the store opened. The store was already out of all the sales items that produce ECB's. NONE of the sales signs were out. I spent 30 minutes trying to locate sales items only to discover that they were out. I only bought 2 packages of M & M's. What a waste of my time! The cashier said that they would get a truck in on Friday!

      • Pinagarcia

that makes me mad, it's like they don't stock on purpose! because why eles would they be out of sale items right after opening? but all other shelfs are stocked bu not on sale!

      • FreedomSpradley1

I've had the same experience about tags not being hung on Sunday morning before but I don't think it's typical.  If that happens again i would look for a new store.  Here in Columbia it seems like there's a CVS every mile.  Also, the ECB deals are definitely a gimmick to get you in the store.  Rain checks are a part of couponing and CVS rain checks never expire so get what you can, grab rain checks for the rest, and shop another day.  No biggie :-)

    • Sarah

soo happy that the bic soleil came with free headphones on the back .. double steal! haha. also I need help with something — I got a “free” john frieda foam hair color in the mail (basically buy it but dont pay anything). in the store there was a sign above the hair color that stated, “purchase 10 dollars in john frieda items, get $3 reward bucks back” — the actual hair color was like $12.50 but I thought I might still get the rewards money even though I used a coupon for it…but it didnt print out..wasn't sure if it was because I used a coupon but then I thought, all these other items I'm using coupons for and still get the rewards money back…anyone know?

      • cs

I used the free coupon a week or so ago and got the ecb's that were advertised. you might want to talk to the manager

        • Sarah

          ok thanks

      • Pinagarcia

yes, my sister-in-law got that same coupon in the mail. and when she went she only paid the taxes but, she aso recieved $2 in RR from walgreens! so i'm not sure why you didn't get your reward bucks!!

    • Caroline

Awesome trip to CVS tonight!  I got a bonus when I scanned my card and $5 ECB printed for my beauty bonus.  That's my 3rd one and I've probably only spent $15 OOP on beauty stuff.
      Trans 1: Oral B replacement heads $29.99
Used $5/$25, $3 coupon from toothbrush package, $17 ECB
Paid $5.99, got back $20 ECB
Trans 2: another pack of Oral B heads $29.99 (and before you say I was clearing the shelves, there were still 4 left…I was shocked they had that many!)
      Used $3 coupon, $20 ECB
Paid $8.49, got back $20 ECB
      Trans 3: 2 Aveeno face sunscreen $18.00
      1 Aveeno lotion $7.00
      5 Smartwater $5.00
      4 Crystal Light packets $2.00
      1 Milky Way dark and 1 peanut M&Ms 1.00
Used 2 $2 Aveeno suncare, $1 Aveeno, 2 CVS $1 Crystal light, 5 $.75 Smartwater (found at a gas station last month), $20 ECB
Paid $2.67, got back $14 ECB ($1 extra for my bag tag)
Trans 4: Pantene shampoo and conditioner $6.97
      Pampers diapers $8.99
Used $3 Pantene coupon, $1.50 Pampers coupon, $11 ECB
Paid $1.04, got back $4 ECB
Total OOP $18.19, 89% savings!!!  One thing to note, my Pampers ECB didn't print right away and I had to go back in. The cashier couldn't figure out why either so she just printed it for me.

    • Kristin

I have a $5 off $25 coupon for CVS that will expire tmw.  For the life of me I can't come up with $25 of anything I want.  I thought I'd use it on the Pur filters that are advertised. But they don't stock the kind I need.  Then I thought I'd buy Cortaid and get the EB. My store doesn't carry Cortaid.  I have inserts going back to 4/17. All You for May and June. And a few other misc. sources. Any ideas/help on how to use this coupon would really be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

      • Caroline

Do you care about getting the ECB?  If not, the Nature Made vitamins are BOGO and there are coupons in both of those All Yous I believe.  You could do the Aveeno deal and that would actually help keep your cost lower plus you'd get $10 ECB.  I often don't use the coupon because I do my shopping on Tuesdays and they're usually good only through Monday.  Even if you don't use it, you'll still get another one emailed to you in a few weeks.  Don't spend money just to use a coupon!  HTH!

        • Kristin

It does help. Thanks.  I just realized I have a Sonicare toothbrush I bought ages ago. I could buy the heads (I have a $3 Q also) and get $20 EB.  But then I'm stuck w/ trying to use $20 all at once.  Of course, since the toothbrush hasn't been used, I could try to sell the whole mess on Ebay!

          • Crafty_cat_86

That's true, but my store didn't have any heads in stock.  You might try getting the gas deal.  the vitamins are BOGO and there's cereal in there.   I'm sending my dad out for that one…  I used that 5/25 q and got the diapers, honest tea, toothbrushes (not refills), preparation H, some cascade, wipes and crystal light singles.  I only spent 5 ECBs and got 11 back but I had some pretty awesome coupons…

          • Frances

You really need to try the Sonicare TB.  I love mine.  It is worth the price for the TB  and replacement heads!

        • Stacyannw

yeah i do this all the time its part of what i call my cvs addiction, i like to use the coupons when i get them lol

        • tygirl13

There is no guarantee that you will get another one mailed to you in a few weeks.  I haven't gotten one in months… Just saying, Don't take them for granted.  But I totally hear you on not spending money just to use a coupon…totally defeats the purpose of couponing.

    • jhoran

I believe that was a kroger booklet.

    • jhoran

      Found at Kroger pharmacy.

    • Stacyannw

so i went to 2 diffrent cvs's today to attempt to get the prep H and Cortaid but striked out at both, the first made me a little upset becasue i saw a lady checking out with 3 carts and 3 cards getting 3 prep H, and i personally think that you should only be able to use 1 card and if your hubby, mom, aunt, sister, grandmother, who ever you claim the card is for wants the deals they should get off their ass and get it.  But other than that i think i did well:

      I got:
      1st store
Pantene shampoo and conditioner, snickers, pb m&m, Bic Soleil Razor, Oral-B toothbrush, 1 crystal light single pack

used: $5.00 in man q, 1.25 in cvs q, and 9.00 in ECB from last week

oop: .20 before tax, 1.52 after tax

      2nd store
pampers, and 1crystal light single pack

used: $2.00 man q, .50 cvs q(because the girl voided the $1 and made the crystal light q .50) and 6.99 in ECB

oop 0.00 before tax, .76 after tax

I understand getting upset and I know some people abuse the cards by having more than one…but…have you ever thought that sometimes people are shopping for loved ones who physically not able to get out and shop. I know lots of times this is not the case..but I do shop for my mom who cannot hold out to shop due to health reasons…just saying….sometimes try to think someone is doing a good deed and not just being greedy.

        • Herndonquad

Why I appreciate the fact that some shop for elderly/disabled people, they people I see in Florence using more than one card are just abusing the system…

          • Last week, the manager at our store asked me if all my transactions were going to be on the same card.  I was shocked.  She seemed to be okay with multiple cards per household.

            • I've had a cashier ask me the same thing. I thought that they were strict about that sort of thing, but I guess not. I'd say that a lot of people must come through using multiple cards, from the sounds of things. I dunno.

IMO, using a couple cards isn't a big deal. I know that many people do shop for loved-ones, and I think it's silly to say that if they are elderly or disabled, then they should just get their asses to the store or miss out on a good deal. I mean, really. That's ridiculous.

It's not just multiple card users that clear the shelves. As others have mentioned, just a couple people coming in and buying products (for their *one* card) can certainly clear the shelves. It sucks when you're the one that comes in last, and there isn't anything left. But oh well– That's what rainchecks are for!

            • guest

I don't mind if the shelf if empty.  I like getting rain checks and then I can better use my extra bucks and not let them expire.  I am usually about two to three weeks behind other cvs shoppers, meaning what is in the sale paper this week, I will get rain checks and get these items in two weeks or so.

            • Stacyannw

I was just saying that i don't get upset when the shelves are cleared usually, its my loss i understand and im not great at getting rain checks but i know i can get one, i just witnessed one lady getting 3 of everything and using 3 cards and i didnt think it was right, i personally think that 1 person should use 1 card, if you want to get stuff for your disabled whoever take your hubby a friend or someone with you and have them use your second card.  This is just what I think…

        • Sarah

although I feel bad for people who can't easily shop, I don't feel like they deserve the items more so than other people who are out there doing the work, and using their gas to go to the store themselves. some people NEED to coupon to support their family, and maybe the physically unable do as well, but I don't think it's right to say that person deserves it more, enough to clear the shelves so others can't get the same things

          • guest

no one said one person needed or deserves more than the others.  Just saying not every one is out to clear shelves.  I am sure the one that i have shopped for would be glad to use their own gas if they were able to hold out to go their self and when they are able they do. I too have been to stores and nothing is left on the shelves. I do understand. I get a raincheck and try again later. Hope you have a great day.  Happy Shopping.

          • FreedomSpradley1

CVS doesn't keep tons of items in stock so it only takes 2-3 shoppers to “clear the shelves.”  You can ALWAYS get a rain check so don't sweat the small stuff.  Most couponers that I've come across are very generous and give away lots of the freebie items we pick up.  I don't believe it matters if someone works harder to get the freebie as long as someone in need benefits in the end.

    • Pawstoreflect

Went to CVS this morning, bought 13 Hershey special dark candy bars(to reach the required $10 expenditure), used 6 B1G1 coupons and $3ECB and paid 58Cents oop!!
The CVS sale of B2G1 combined with the manufacturers B1G1 allowed me to get this great deal.:)

      • Pawstoreflect

        oooo, forgot…also got 3 ECB's back!!

      • Parrothead60

Hey, where did you get the B1G1 free coupons? Thanks!

      • parrothead60

Oops just saw where to get the B1G1 free!!

    • Meesh

colgate toothpaste is B1G1. use two .75/off coups!

      • How much is the individual price?

        • Meesh

          $4.99/each, B1G1 + 2 $0.75 off = $3.50 or $1.75 each. not bad for a $5 toothpaste!

          • FreedomSpradley1

If you don't need toothpaste today I would hold off on deals like this.  You can get FREE toothpaste every other month between CVS and Publix.

            • Yeah, I went to check the prices yesterday. I'd rather just wait to use my coupons on something that will either be free, under $1, or generate ECBs.  KWIM? My stockpile of toothpaste is already pretty big, so I won't actually *need* to buy toothpaste for months. LOL. I certainly wouldn't want to spend money when I don't have to. :-)

            • Meesh

i all ready have three tubes of free toothpaste. i just needed a coupon+sale fix.

          • Guest

If you have the CVS reinventing beauty magazine or the coupon booklet there are 2, $1 any colgate total.
            So $4.99/each, B1G1 + 2 $.75 off m+ 2 $1off s= $1.49 or $0.75 each. Even better savings!

    • Syndilew

Just to give everyone a head up, I asked about the Cortaid at my CVS and was told that there was some sort of a recall and that they are fixing the problem and that this product won't be back on the shelf for about two weeks.  HTH

      • Coupongal18

I was wondering because I  couldn't find it at all at my store – THANKS!!!!

      • FreedomSpradley1

Thanks for the info.  I was wondering where the cortaid was.  I guess I'll rain check that.

    • blessedbeingmom

      I bought:
      2 Speedstick deodorant
      2 bottles Pantene shampoo
      1 tablecloth
      1 bag of 250 straws
      1 bag of Popcorn Indiana
      3 bottles of Aveeno sunscreen
      2 Oral B toothbrushes
      1 Bic Soleil Shimmer

I had $15.50 worth of coupons, plus $11.99 of ECB.  I paid OOP $33.90 & got back $20 worth of ECB for next week.  Managed to go on Sunday this week so they weren't out of everything, and was very pleased that I was able to find everything I wanted (and then some).  :)

    • Layindoor94

went to cvs this afternoon and was not as happy as when I went in. Did okay I suppose I got the prep wipes and prevacid for my mom. She has to take 2 of them a day so when I saw they were on sale I jumped. They were not 5.79 in upstate sc..they were 11.99 for 14 days worth. So 3.99 for prep wipes and 3.99 ecb ( i didnt print cpn ). nxt trans 11.99 2x and used 2/4.00 cpn and my 3.99 ecb from first tran. still payed total out of pocket about 17 and some change but got 10 ecb back for nxt time

    • Crafty_cat_86

As I went out to CVS on Saturday, my hubby asked if I'd pick up an extra bottle of baby tylenol for the diaper bag.  “What?  At CVS?? and pay *gasp* Retail???”  lol, so here's what I did:

      Trasaction #1:

      Pampers $8.99
-$3/1 Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive, Cruisers or Extra protection (inside my pkg. of baby dry diapers)

      Pampers wipes $2.99
      -$1/1 wipes 60 ct.+
-$4/2 diapers and wipes (from magic coupon machine a few weeks ago)

      2 Oral B indicator toothbrushes $3.98
      -$1.50/2 PG 5/01

      3 M&Ms Peanut butter $1.50
      -B2G1 Mars Peanut butter (tearpad)

      3 Powerade $3

      2 Honest Tea $2
      -(2) $1/1 Honest Tea (recyclebank)

      1 Prep H
      -$2/1 printable

      4 Crystal Light
-(3) $1/1 Crystal Light (from red box last week and that day)
-(2) $1/2 Crystal Light, Kool-aid, Country Time or Tang (tearpad)

      1 Cascade $2.99
      -$1/1 P&G $110 savings booklet

      -$5/25 email coupon
      -6 ECB (from last week)

      Total: $0.78 + tax
      Get back: 10.99 ECB

…oh right, that full-priced tylenol.   …Well, at least I can get the generic version…

      Transaction #2
      CVS tylenol $4.99
      -5 ECB
      Total: nothing
      Get back: nothing

….well, I got $50+ of stuff for $0.78, roll 6 ECB, and live to coupon another day (the key to a long coupon life is keeping hubbly happy ;0)

    • Kjoyner

I noticed “CVS coupon sheet” listed for Nature's Bounty Vitamins.  Where do you find it?

      • Guest

Most CVS's keep them behind the counter. You just have to ask whoever is back there or the coupon booklet is also in the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine which is $.99 and can be found on a cosmetics shelf or in the magazine racks.

    • Tl272823

Where do I get the CVS coupon booklet?

    • Coupongal18

Had an awesome trip to CVS this morning – I was worried because I was out of town yesterday and I usually go late Saturday or early Sunday to get the deals before the shelves were cleared out…..I got everything on my list!!!!!!

      Here's what I got:

      Transaction 1 –
      (1) Bic Shimmer Razer
      (1) Prep H. Wipes
      (2) Twix bars
      After coupons/ECB's, OOP-$1.04 – got back $$7.99 in ECB's

      Transction 2-
      (2) Pantene
      (3) Aveeno Bodywash
      (1) Aveeno Sunscreen

      After coupons/ECB's – OOP – $3.70 – got back $12.00 ECB's….

So, total OOP was $4.74 and have $12 ECB's next week to use!!!!!!! I love CVS!!!!!!

    • atlantacouponqueen

Ladies – I just got Pampers for a steal!!!!  I bought a jumbo of Pampers Cruisers size 4 and the crystal light that you put in a water bottle.  I used a coupon center $1 off from last week for the crystal light – $.50 mm and a $5 off any pampers purchase that I got at Walgreens a few weeks ago when i spent $20.  I used both coupons and $1.99 in extra bucks and my total OOP came to $1.88 – and I got $2 ECBs for next week.  Love me some free diapers!!!

      • Coupongal18

Thank you SOOOOO MUCH!!! IF you had not posted this, I would have missed out on this awesome deal . Like you, I got the Walgreen's coupon a few weeks ago and so I went back to CVS this afternoon and got a pack of Pampers at $8.99 – I used the $5.00 Walgreen's coupon and $2.00 ECB – I paid $2.11 for the diapers and got back $2 ECB so basically, I got them for 11 cents!! AWESOME!!!!!

        Thanks!!!!!

      • Hailey Hurst 22

I didn't know they took catalinas from other stores!

      • Brandon

Thank you for sharing, but please remember that it's not just ladies who use this site, and dads buy diapers too! :)

        • CouponBubba

With the savings I get from this blog, Brandon, they can call me Maudine if they want to! :)

    • WynetteC

    • Bakersamanthaw

I donrt know if anyone has posted this yet but there was a 0.75/2 m&m candies in the 5/22 redplum which would make them a mm this week !!! would make it even better if you have a 0.25 off qpon from the red machine :)

      • SchoonCR

I looked in the Montgomery and the Atlanta papers, and didn't see that coupon

      • Dharvn

        i got that cpn.

    • Kim

Went to my CVS today in Columbia, SC and asked at register for CVS coupon sheet and the manager of 26 years had no clue what I was talking about-oh well, I did get some great deals on the chocolate and Pantene…

    • MomOf4

Bought: 2 Crest, 2 Pantene, 2 candy bars, 3 Aveeno body wash and 1 Aveeno sunscreen.  Used coupons for each item, a $5 off $25 that was emailed, $5 ECB from the Beauty Club and $12 ECB from last week.  Paid: $1.95 +tax, and got $15 ECB for next week!  Can't believe I didn't start this earlier!!

      • Kristy

I did pretty much the same thing but I added the aveeno itch cream. Love aveeno products & love getting them for almost free!

      • Prsol

Love it! I took my father-in-law with me to do some quick CVsing…. he was so impressed! “It's like having a second job: you get paid for buying stuff.” … LOL ;-)

        He's a sweetheart! :)

    • Lindamad

I'm thinking this $10 free gas deal won't go over that well unless they add more eligible items.  Unless you need one of the more expensive items, like Miralax, it's hard to get $30 of chips, cereal, soup and nuts.

      • It took us 8 days of searching in 5 different cities before we found an exxon.  You have to spend $10 in gas getting to the exxon.  I wont be doing the gas card deal anymore.

        • Carolinaworldbook

My CVS offered a choice between Shell and BP cards. I guess it is a regional thing?

    • Tchpch

I was really excited to find a tearpad of  $.55 off 1 Vitaminwater in the refrigerated section of my CVS. I used 3 along with one BOGO Honest Tea coupon to score 5 drinks for $.35 (after ECB). If you used 5 of the $.55 off, your cost after ECB would be $.05 each! Wow!

    • Hailey Hurst 22

      • Your CVS doubles coupons?

    • Lorri

Hi all, I’m so excited about my CVSing this week, I wanted to share. I got 4 of the Aveeno products for $4.00 oop, plus $10 ECB for a $6.00 mm. Here it is:

      3 body wash (3 x 6.00 = 18.00)
      1 sunscreen (9.00)
      Total before coupons: 27.00

      Coupons used:
      1 – B2G1 body wash (-6.00)
      1 – 2.00 off sunscreen (-2.00)
      1 – 5.00 off 25.00 (-5.00)
      1 – 10.00 ECB from last week (-10.00)

I wanted to do 2 transactions and do the Prep H deal first which would have saved another 2.00 but they were all out. I can’t complain though, my CVS almost always has everything in stock, even when I go on the last day of the sale. Plus, they are SUPER NICE to the couponers. You have to love CVS! After my Wags experience this week, plus reading others’ posts about Wags, CVS is the best, hands down.

    • FreedomSpradley1

When I scanned my card at the redbox yesterday it printed out a $6 off Revlon Color Stay cosmetic.  I combined that with the $2 coupon and the $4 ECB wyb $10 in Revlon and made $2 on a powder compact ($9.99).  Great deal!!

      • ireneY

Saw some $3 peelies for Colorstay on display shelves, but only at one store. Hope I get the $6 ECB too!!

    • Juanita

I had to make an exchange at CVS this morning…so I took advantage of the degree and Lady speedstick deodorant.  I purchased 4 Degrees (2-b1G1 free coupons) 2 Lady speedsticks (2- $.75 off coupons).  total before coupons and those beautiful ECBs $23.46…After $1.89…2 Gillette body washes-not on sale, but I had 2/$2 coupons…10.90 before coupons and ECBs…After $2.90..I so love getting stuff for FREE!!!!

    • Olemissmoss

Question: I was looking at the candy deal above where you buy $10 and get $3 ECB. The hersheys are B2G1 and I have a coupon for B1G1.  Whats the math on this? I think that it will be B1G2 free. When I check out with 3 bars, the computer will recognize that I “bought” 2 and will give me the 3rd one free, then when I scan my coupon I will get another one (or the 2nd one) free. So if I am right that is B1G2. Please let me know what you think.

      • ireneY

In figuring out the deal, it's easiest to just concentrate on the Q itself. Just make sure you buy in sets of six so you'd be getting every third one free (from the CVS sale) and match with three sets of Qs. In grammar school math terms, make sure you buy a number that is divisible by both 3 and 2!

    • Carolinaworldbook

      Today I got:
      2 individual candy bars
      2 degree deodorant
      4 lg bags chips
      2 salsa
      6 boxes cereal
      2 toothpaste
      1 prep H
4 boxes 50 ct. Advil each with 24 ct bonus box attached..(YAY)
      9 trial size Fruitopia shampoos
      4 trial size shampoo/conditioner

OOP: 62.83    Savings: 51.83 plus I got $6.99 in ECBs and $10 gas card

      • Cuban

man, what great website this is and great people and great comments here!!!!!!!!

    • savinginvirginia

I second BabiesTruong comment.  It is helpful and motivating to read your posts.  Thanks everyone and Jennie!

    • Meesh

hey. i'm not sure if this is allowed (if not, i apologize). i have a 25% off your entire purchase (up to $99) receipt coupon that i tried to use today. the computer wouldn't allow it because my oop would have been less than the ecb earned. the downfall is this coupon expires june 2, and I don't need to shop at cvs until next week.
i live in mount pleasant, sc (near town center). i am willing to give this to someone who is willing to pick it up. i will give you the phone number that goes along with this card and coupon. please email me at mjunga@live.com

      • Sandy

Are you sure the computer wouldn't allow the coupon because you were trying to use it on items that were on sale? Usually these coupons can't be used with sale items (read the bottom of it for exclusions). I've never heard of a coupon not being used because oop is less than ecb earned before.

      • Guest

It isn't allowed, sorry. CVS coupons are tracked with your ExtraCare card. You can only use the coupon with the card that was scanned at the register when it printed.

        • Meesh

@ guest: i would give you the phone number that is used with the card so whoever can still use it.
@ sandy: you're right! it does say “excludes sales and promotions” shucks.

oh well, still up for anyone who wants it.

          • Sis2

If someone else used the coupon via your phone number, any ECB's earned would only be able to be used by you on your card.  So  not a good deal for most people.  But thanks for offering and trying to save someone some money.

            • Guest

@ Meesh-I happen to work at CVS and as a cashier try to help my customers get the best deals whenever I can and  I get you're trying to help someone else but Sis2 does make a good point about ECB's earned. I was thinking about future transactions and how it would just be an endless cycle.

    • VQSaver

The link the the La Roche Posay sun care product coupon does not take me to a coupon. I am in a vicious circle that takes me nowhere. Any ideas?

    • ME

@ Cookeville, TN for B1G1 free offers in their ad, you MUST get 2. It's not like Krogers where 1 item is simply 1/2 price. Just FYI.

    • Dtcox1

This might not be the proper place to post this but if anyone uses or needs enfamil coupons I have 2 $1 check like coupons I will mail to them.  I use similac and I know how expensive formula is, would hate to see these go to waste if someone else can use them.

    • Danywalt

sorry i think i have posted this twice

    • Couponj

I picked up diapers last night and if any of you got the CVS baby mailer coupons you can do this also…

      Pampers Baby Dry 8.99
      Pampers Wipes 2.99
$2/1 Pampers, .50 Pampers Wipes, CVS Coupon $2 off Pampers and Wipes
$7.48 OOP and 2ECB so 5.48 for diapers and wipes is a good deal.

PLUS my CVS had specially marked packages with a bonus coupon inside for $1 off any 1 Cheerios!!! Wahoo!

      • Amber

Couponj, how do you get the CVS baby mailer coupons?  I have a baby, and these would come in REALLY handy!  :)

    • I have a question on the matchup for the Nestle Water.  I'm must be missing the boat on this one… If the water is $2.88 and you use the $1/2 coupon isn't it 2.38 and not $1.88 ?? You can't use two of the $1.00 off coupons can you?  If the coupon says you need to buy two to use it… right?

      • cs

she is showing you what it would be if you used $1 off, which is the better deal

        • Nancy

I have the dollar off but the dollar off is off of two not one.

          • cs

there is one that is just a $1 off one
-$1 off Nestle Pure Life purified water, 8 oz-.5 L 24 pk, Kroger home mailer

if you have the kroger home mailer and have that coupon then its $1.88 each. She shows you all the coupons that she knows is out there and puts the price at the bottom for the one that is the best deal. Not everybody will have the same coupons though. so yes for you it would be 2.48 each (math might be off).

    • jhoran

Save more from your pharmacy booklet is from Kroger.

    • Jelibean

tried to print the coupon for Preparation H Wipes 10 ct., $3.99 and it would not print. What can I do to get this coupon? I am new at this and really don't know how to start.

      • Sarah

I wouldnt worry about it….they are more than likely out of it by now at the stores .. havent seen them in the 3 that i've been to

        • FreedomSpradley1

I'm sure all the stores are out by now.  Get a rain check and wait for the coupon to come back.  CVS rain checks never expire.

    • Sarah

I'm not sure there's a limit on the candy bars….when I bought 2 the cashier said “isnt this a great deal?! as many candy bars as you want!” and I said “oh, I thought there was a limit” but when I looked at the tag I didn't see anything that said limit and he told me that one of his coworkers buys 11 sets a day and gets them free. I bought another set and still had a reward print out

      • Sarah

by the way I'm talking about the mars candy

        • Dharvn

          say what?

          • Syndilew

My receipt has a limit on the deal listed at the bottom.

Does anyone know if the Nashville area CVS's have the coupon sheet or booklet? I have asked in the pharmacy & they said CVS doesn't have coupons except the one's that print out of the kiosk.  Thanks!

Sunday I went to my local CVS and got three cases of the bottled water on sale for 2.88. I used my $1/2 coupon and some of the extra bucks I had from a previous transaction and walked out only paying .65 cents. I love CVS. Then today I went in and bought two revlon eye liners that were normally $10.50 each but were on clearanc for 75% off, 4 of the new revlon scented nail enamels, two were 3.99 and 2 were 5.99. I used 4 $1 off coupons and my $9.99 ECB, spent 9 dollars and got back 8 more ECB. So cool!!!

    • Busscpn

Nestle 24 cnt water on sale $2.88.
Manufacturer has $1.00/2 coupon bringing it down to $1.88.
      Great purchase for emergency stock!

      • ireneY

My store had them individually, marked $.15 on the clearance rack. When I make a magic coupon machine stop and there's nothing good to buy, I grab a bottle of the water and scan the green tag. At least the trip isn't a complete dud!

    • sargent

      What is savingstar about??

      • It is an online coupon site where you enter all of your rewards card accounts.  Then select the coupons you want to upload to your cards.  At the store when you scan your reward card the coupon does not come off automatically.  It can take a couple days, but the amount will go into your Saving Star account online.  Once you reach $5 you can select a payout either to your checking account or in an amazon gift card. There may be some other options, but I can't recall at the moment.  You can still use your paper coupons at the store for the same item.

$6.00 Revlon coupon printing at coupon center. Combined it with 4 ECB's. Purchased a undereye concealer for $10.49….sweet, cost me $.49.  Also met my $50 beauty club amount – and gained $5.00 more in ECB.  I love CVS!

    • markdevilson
