Not seeing the quattro coupon. There’s only one for disposables or the intuition.

      • Elisetdchavez

        already reached its limit

      • Cedarhillcabins

Print the q for the disposables.  I believe it will be a money maker at Walmart.

        • Anonymous

walmart didn’t accept my coupons for the disposables. They said the overage was too high and the coupon stated i could not get cash back – even tho i was going to use the overage on other products:(

      • Anonymous

i found one under zip 30003

        • Ddavis2680

I only found the disposable q.  Thank you anyway.

.my best friend’s mom makes $77  an hour on the computer. she has been out of job for 9 moths but last month her check was $7487 USD just working on the computer for a few hours. read about it http://CashDone.com

    • Kimberlyflem26

The Purina coupon for $2 off is for the 20 lb
      bag.

    • NCCouponMom

when it says to spend 30.00 get 10.00 ecb is that before tax? I want to do 1 huggies slip on 13.99, 1 pampers jumbo pack 9.00, & 1 pack of pampers wipes 7 but that would be 29.99

      • Abi

If it is within a few cents pre-tax it will still print the ECB provided you purchased all participating items. HTH!

      • Deecheers4rv

I don’t think the slip on’s are included. I think it’s just the pull ups and goodnights.

    • Lauren

can I combine Enfamil coupons (the printable ones) with the checks they send in the mail? I dont use formula but want to donate some if I can.

      • Allison

Yep. Sure can. I’ve even done it at CVS. One is a coupon and the check is run like a real check, so it’s like money. Two different things.

        • Couponeagle11

i have been told at different locations publix, toys r us, target and even cvs that this is not allowed they are both money off for  product purchase so the check or the coupon is allowed not both.

      • ericswifeowensmom

But be sure to give any ECBs *before* you give the checks! i learned that the hard way yesterday:)

    • JC

With the spend $30.00 get 10 ECB deal, does your total have to be $30 after coupons or $30 before coupons? I’ve never done these deals at CVS but I see them all the time and would like to participate, any help is appreciated!

      • Smjjcj

It is $30 before coupons. :)

        • JC

          Thank you :)

      • Angelascoupons1

These kinds of deals are always before coupons.

        • JC

          Ok thank you :)

    • SandraC215

If you are seeing an embedded ad for “Free Sunday Coupons” here, DON’T go there!  They want your cell phone number to add a monthly for-fee “service”!  I don’t know what the deal really is, but it seems convoluted and very fishy.

      • It was only there for a day or two, they have probably printed all they allowed.

      • Anonymous

I think the print limit was reached after a day or two, so it’s no longer available.

    • Couponinchef

general question how do u decide what q to use… one that is more valuable or one that will expire sooner????

      • Anonymous

Depends on the deal and how long till the later coupon expires.  If it doesn’t expire for a few months sure use the soon to expire one.  But if th elarger one expires in 2 weeks then go ahead and use the larger one because the deal will liekly not come around again in that time.  Better to let a lesser value coupon expire than a high value coupon.

      • tina

Unless it is a product that you have to buy frequently, I would use the higher value q first and let the other expire.  A penny saved is a penny earned.  but if you will be needing the product again next week then use the one that will expire first.

    • Anonymous

$2/3 Trident coupon has expired 9/17. There is new $1/3 out in 9/18 SS though. (Not sure if some regions had $2/3?)

      • Binapooh

Thank  you for giving another option. Was wondering b/c the coupon she listed was the expired one.

    • Coupon Nurse

I have $18 in ECB that expired last week. Totally forgot about them! :( Does CVS take expired ECB’s?

      • Linda

Some will take them and some will not.

      • Angelareid821

Couldn’t hurt to call customer service and say you just had a “brain fart” and see if they would issue you new ones.

      • germangirl

Where are you? Mine, in Flowery Branch, GA, will take them up to 2 week later.

      • coupons4kids

My local CVS will take expired ECB’s!

    • Hmhays19

I can’t find the Enfamil coupon.  Anyone know where it’s at?

      • Erin B

It’s been out of prints for a while…. hoping they open it back up again soon! That’s my favorite coupon!

    • Alana262

In the big deal, on transaction #4, there are (3) $2 off toothpaste coupons being used but only purchasing 2??  Still new to this?  What am I missing?

      • Stephanie in Bham

simple typo error, it should only be 2 coupons used since only 2 items purchased. HTH

        • Deecheers4rv

There should be 3 purchased to qualify for the ECB.

          • yeah she purchased 1 in a priop transaction so after she purchases the last two, the ecb will print :)

            • Alana262

Super!  I get it now.  I need to get a few other things so I guess I need to see where they would fall into the deal to my benefit.  I love this!  Thanks alot Stephanie, Dee and Ashley.

I went to the class last night in Huntsville. I REALLY wanted to hear what Jenny was saying about free or cheap diapers but the 2 women behind me yapped their heads off the ENTIRE class and I missed what was said. My daughter has twin girls and I wanted to help her with that expense!! So, would someone have pity on me and explain the ECB’s to me?

      • Anonymous

tell me what you need to know

        • Robin

Thank you!! Yes, that helps alot! I’m just frustrated that woman and her friend were so rude. If I wouldn’t have had to interupt Jenny, I’d have turned around and told her my 10.00 was just as good as her 10.00 and to shut up!!!
          Thanks again!!!

          • Suzanne

I have been shopping for another as well…the diapers are a great deal when trying to work a $ off of $ Q.  I always think of the  $ off as my “free” stuff (like papers).  I, too spent $10 for a class…but …EVERYTHING you need to know is free here on the website.  Check the top Learn to coupon.  I did not learn anything at the class that was not already on here…but, gosh, it sure was fun to see the “girl”!  If you   are new…my recomendation is ONE drug store and whatever grocery stores are convenient for you. Whatever you do, do NOT do multiple drug stores…the stuff is on sale everywhere eventually…just wait.  It saves you a lot of time going to multiple stores. Unless it is your only choice…steer clear of Walgreens…way too complicated for me!  but they  DO have great photo offers!

          • Suzanne

Robin, my advise is to watch the CVS how-to videos that Jenny has posted on this site.  It will explain the ECB program fully.  There seem to often be great diaper deals using the ECBs and “rolling” them in transactions.  I think your key is going to be to shop at CVS enough to always have some ECBs on hand each week so you can do the deals.  If you have the coupons and bucks on hand, you can usually spend very little out of pocket.  Also, check out Jenny’s buy-list to see what you should be paying per diaper…that will help you gauge whether or not a deal is really good.  Usually, the ones like this week where you buy a certain amount and get a big chunk back in bucks are typically the best ways to get things cheap.

      • ericswifeowensmom

also, until 12-31-11 you will get a free jumbo pack of diapers for every 6 that you buy. Huggies & Pampers are participating. It takes 48H for your receipt to update so you wouldn’t get the free pack the day of your 6th purchase. Keep a total for yourself b/c Slip on Huggies didn’t register on your receipt at all in the beginning but they were included so i had to call customer care(extremely  helpful).

and, ECB’s are like cvs CASH! so you can use as many as you want in one transaction (unlike WAGS) along with your Qs That’s why you have to break your transactions down like Jenny did at the bottom.

I hope this helps. and i personally, love shopping at cvs!

        • Twoawilkes

I contacted WAGS corporate expplaining why CVS & riteAide have a better RR program. It would be nice if Walgreen would improve their RR program. Hopefully if more people contact them maybe this will happen

      • Cboggs33

If you really want the cheapest diapers, you should check out amazon mom.  free membership that gives free 2 day shipping.  Use the subscribe and save feature and get extra 30% off – if you buy in bulk, it is usually about half the price at cvs even with coupons and ecbs.  you can google “amazon mom” and it should come up or type “amazon mom” into Jenny’s search engine and her posts on it will come up too.

      • i dont think amazon has better deals. i got 3 bags of diapers, gain laundry detergant, 4 revlon lipgloss, sally hansen salon effects, and revlon foundation, oh and a diet coke. I paid $7.69.  the sally hansen and foundation are $10 each so out of the $7 not all of it was even for the diapers. i think if you work cvs’s system good, you can get reallly cheap diapers. a couple weeks ago i paid only a dollar and some change for diapers and 2 expensive razors.

      • Srhine85

I think the drug stores have the best prices on diapers. Sometimes with coupons and mail in rebates, I can get a great deal on Huggies diapers at Publix. Otherwise I stick to drug stores. Keep in mind that it is so easy to make money playing the drug store game that you can use that free money to help pay for things that you won’t get free (like diapers) but really need and do go on sale often.

    • Setty_sri

      Hi,

I ma not able to find $5 off Schick Quattro Razor .Could you please let me know the zipcode for that.

      Sri

      • Anonymous

did you find it?  i can’t find either

      • Anonymous

I think the print limit was reached a day or two after it was released & it’s no longer available.

      • Anixon

That coupon was “HOT” so it was only available for a day if that.  High value coupons like that if you don’t get when first post you probably won’t get them.  I surf the web and still miss them, but luckly I was on the site right when they posted this time.  Sorry you missed it but there will be a 4 dollar q in the paper.

    • laura

I had a question on the Oral B Toothbrushes. I typed in the Fresh Scent in CVS dot com and all the Oral B Toothbrushes came up. I want to make sure I use it on the right one. The coupon says Oral B Complete Toothbrush (the pic on the coupon shows the deep clean toothbrush) so what toothbrush cane this be used for? There’s no Fresh Scent toothbrush so does that mean on any Oral B toothbrush?

    • guest

The coupons that states .70/1 softsoap pampered hands prints out stating .70 off ANY softsoap liquid handsoap 8oz or larger…FYI

Can you use a coupon and check from enfamil together?

      • Kayla

Also, I have more than one enfamil check in different dollar amounts. Does anyone know how these things work. Can I use multiple checks along with a online coupon on one thing of enfamil. Thanks

        • Val

Yes. As long as the price of all the enfamil formula is equal to/more than the amount you have in checks and coupons.

      • Paige

I have not done this but I have read that the checks are considered checks, not coupons and are like cash so you could use as many checks as you have and still use a coupon on the item.

      • Anonymous

Yes you can use the coupon and the check together.  One is a check (like cash) and the other is a coupon.  They should accept both. I used to do this all the time when my boys were on formula.

    • Happy Feet

Physicans Formula make up will have another great deal this week… I have a frustration though…  have a rebate form for the mascara.. but you have to turn in the “try me free” label…. I have been to 4 different CVs stores and not a one of them has this label on any of their products…. Called  Rebate #… lady says you have to have it t with your receipt…. Got any ideas?

      • I did this deal the other week and only found 1 product that had the “try me free” label, I saw a lot of products where the peelie had been removed even though they didn’t buy the product. I had to look all the way in the back for the one I found.

      • NJ

the only thing I can think of is you have to peel one off the next one you see — but some people are against this, so do whatever you feel is right.  You HAVE to buy the ones with the peelie on the package for it to work.  Now you know for the future.

    • quest

If there is a limit of 2 ecbs can you buy both items in one transaction or do you have to do 2 transactions to get both of the ecb

      • Tmfloves

you can buy them in the same transaction

      • Anonymous

you can purchase them in one transaction but be prepared to receive the ECBs in one lump sum.  (ie if the ECB is $2 per item you will receive a $4 ECB)

    • Dawnabradley

When I went to print off the Schick Quantro Razor coupon it printed off a $5.00 Schick Hydro coupon.  This coupon will not work at my CVS.  Does anyone know where else I might find the coupon for the Quantro razor?

      • teresa

i got the hydro also.  couldn’t find the quattro.  print limit must have been reached

    • question: our pups love them some beggin strips but i find it hard to believe cvs is selling the 25 oz. ( the large bag ) for $3…can anybody clear this up so i can plan my trip?

    • Brenda

With the physicians formula scenario- buy $10 and get 7 ecb’s… Does anyone know that if you purchase the mascara for $9.99 will that qualify for the 7 ecb’s or will they make you purchase another item- the next cheapest thing is the concealer for $5.99. It is 1 cent short of the $10. Thanks for any help you can give me!!

      • Tmfloves

The CVS I go to would give you the ECB if you are a few pennies shy.

        • Anonymous

Probably, I always received the $10 gas card even if my total was $29.96

    • Linda

      Thanks!!!

Do NOT enter your phone number!
I received FOUR calls in one day! UGGGH!!!

Im not sure if anyone has posted this or not…I got a $5/2 Triaminic q from the magic coupon machine in CVS on Thursday. It expires  10/6/2011.  It makes the medicine a better deal.

      • coupons4kids

I got that too. Its going to make a great deal!

Is it store Q that can be combined with the manf. Q?

        • Sealine75

It is a CVS coupon so you can combine it with the manf. Q!

          • Lisa

I think it’s actually a manufacturer coupon bc the barcode starts with a 5.

            • It is a store coupon states CVS Coupon on the top. I used both this morning with no problem.

      • Sealine75

Thanks for saving me another $1!  I would have totally missed that.

    • fyi

Fyi…the excedrin 8 count isn’t regularly carried in most stores, so no rainchecks!!!

      • Christina Piper

Last time they had these I found them on hanging strips in the store and not with the aspirin/pain relievers.

      • Michelle

You have to search for these.  At one store, they were in one of the travel sized sections.  At another store, they were hanging on a strip at the checkout counter.   I think most stores carry them…they just aren’t consistently placed in the same spot.  Dig a little and you might have some luck!  :-)

Did any one else get a CVS Pharmacy Extra Savings Book in their Sat. Paper.  I’m in North Carolina.  Was wondering is these were considered CVS coupons or manufact. coupons.  Could stack if CVS considers these as CVS coupons?

There is a coupon for $2/1 off the Thermacare wrap. I forget which insert but I used mine today!!

thanks! I have very little money this week to spend on this, but these are all house needs, so if anyone could help me spend the least oop I would appreciate it.

      • NewMommy2

It’s better to break up all the transactions so you spend the least Oop, and you can use all your ECB’s towards the next transaction. Hope this helps!!

        • Atoth88

thank you so much! does anyone ever have a hard time with cashiers when doing multiple transactions?

          • i’ve never had a hard time but i go to the same cvs every sunday morning at 8, so they know me and know that i will always get out of line to allow others to go ahead and i pretty much do whatever i can to make it easier on everyone else.

            • Atoth88

I will have to get up the nerve and go then! I hate when I feel like I’m looked down on for trying to save as much as possible. I have always tried to let others go before me, and whatever else I can, but I have only went to one CVS in the past and the experience was not great. Oh well, I will try again!

            • yeah its probably just different with each cvs or each worker. ive had some treat me like garbage but the one i go to now is awesome and i think once you build a reputation there and they know you’re being legitimate, they’ll be more welcoming and friendly, but you are right, sometimes ive been treated like im stealing the stuff!

            • Anonymous

I agree, the employees at the one I go to have always been great, but now that I have gotten to know them (and them me), it has been especially easy and comfortable. I told them up front I was new to couponing and they were very helpful. It also was an easy way to start a conversation and kind of introduce myself.

            • Anonymous

I LOVE that couponing is en-vogue right now.  I used to coupon before, but it’s so much easier now that everyone is doing it!  Thanks to all you newbies for making the checkers expect coupons.  :)

          • NewMommy2

I’ve never had a problem I just tell them before I start that I’m doing multiple transactions! Good luck

          • Kms0208

If you break the 1st transactions in two, buy(2)  Excedrin first and pay the Thermacare, you will have extra +6 ECB left and spend same amount.

            • Atoth88

              thanks!

      • Deezeetanyab

There is a $3 coupon on Thermacare’s website.

        • Its for 2ct or larger, the 1ct is the one on sale.

    • Lorimcarver

Does CVS start the Sunday’s ad on Saturday evening?  I know I’ve seen it posted lots of times, but can’t remember.

      • Monkzardo

They do if it’s not a 24 hour store.

        • Christina Piper

Mine does and it is a 24 hour store.  Call the store manager and ask.  That is what I did.

    • Twoawilkes

Was very impressed with CVS today. I purchased the Excedrin today and was 63 cent short for 10.00 RR. The manager was the one that checked me out. She took my receipt back, scanned it typed something in and my 10.00 reward printed up. Not many stores will do this.

      • thats awesome! gotta love the super nice managers :)

      • Kaelaj89

I done the exact same thing- somehow I think my receipt said .62 and from my own personal experience anything under $.99 of being to the mark has always printed for me well tonight it didn’t at my store either, but just like your store my friendly cashier went ahead and printed mine for me too. I have super nice cashiers and managers at my CVS and Im so glad considering some of the  posts Ive read on here and other websites too about theirs being awful.

    • Kimberlyflem26

just going through my printable coupons and found a 3.00 any two trimenic that says retailer coupon. Can I stack it with the 1 dollar manufacutuer coupon

    • Atoth88

Just found a coupon to print from cvs website. when printed it says cvspharmacy and not manufacturer’s or retailers. So can this be stacked? It’s for the optic toothpaste btw.

      • fyi

No. It is considered a manufacturers coupon. Ran into The same thing w The skintimate coupon. Corporate says its a manufacturer coupon.

        • Christina Piper

I didn’t have a problem stacking the CVS coupon with the MFG with the skintimate deal.

          • fyi

It shouldn’t have gone through. Had the same problem and got an answer from corporate as to Why…it’s a manufacturers cpn

      • Anonymous

That particular one is a manufacturer Q., unfortunately. Although it says “CVS…” on top header, the upc code is actual manufc code and it also shows redemption address for the retailers. Not all Q on CVS website are store Qs; most are manuferes.

It can not be stacked with insert manuf Q that is out.

        • Sealine75

The one I printed shows no redemption address for retailers.  It has CVS/pharmacy in the header.  It says it is valid at “particpating CVS stores.”  I don’t think there is any possible way another retailer could accept this so I don’t see how it could be a manu Q.  I plan to use it this morning in combination with my manu Q.

          • fyi

It’s a manufacturer coupon even w The header.

            • Sealine75

But there is NOTHING on the coupon about where to submit the coupon for reinbursment.  How can they expect people to know that even though it says “CVS” all over the place (including the header), has no reinbursment address, has no mention of manurfacturer coupon anywhere, that it is a manufacturer coupon because the upc code is a manufacturer’s code?  Sorry, I am not an expert on coupon codes.  I would have used it this morning if CVS had not been out of the size that was on sale.

I also used the CVS coupons from the skintimate a few weeks ago with a manufacturer’s coupon and they did not even cause the register to beep.

          • Guest

I used cvs/pharmacy optic coupons last  week , and they worked fine . The cashier had to key in  these coupons . I gave the cashier manufacture coupons first then the cvs/pharmacy coupons . They have a codes as manufacture coupons  , but  they have  cvs/pharmacy logo . The cashier  accepted them as a store coupons .

        • Elle

Mine said CVS and had no redemption address, and I stacked it this morning, no problem.  Did not beep, the guy scanned all the coupons, did not have to key them in.  Now, the odd thing about the transaction was that the computer adjusted the price to 2.49 and did not give ecb’s.  The cashier said if you stack a cvs Q+ man Q on an item, you cannot also get ecb’s.  I do not know if that is really the case, but since I got the toothpaste for free I did not argue and left happy.

          • ive never heard of that and ive stacked plenty of cvs coupons with manuf. coupons and it still printed ecb

    • did anyone find the crest q 2.00/1 ss9-11 it seems I dont have it

My husband likes a particular type/brand of razor, and unfortunately, it is one for which I can never find a coupon. Yesterday I ran into CVS to pick some up, and the manager said, “No coupons today?” And she said it with a smile. I had to laugh. I guess I’m gettting a reputation around there. I always thought she was annoyed with my couponing, but maybe the ice just broke. :)

      • Anonymous

My husband uses the old Gilette Sensor Excel razor because he doesn’t like the rotating head so I always have to pay full price for his blades. I feel your pain!

Did anyone else not recieve the CVS coupon booklet in the Sunday paper?? i thought it was coming out today.

      • Marlamae

I was wondering that too. I just looked through my ajc and didn’t c one either…

        • IG

No insert here either in Central Texas, Austin American-Statesman.

          • Belle2456

I got them NJ, Newark Start Ledger. I had to search through eight papers before I found one. Appears that some of the papers had them and some did not.

      • Alana262

I didn’t receive it in the Tampa Tribune either.

      • Binkie11

Nothing in Columbia’ State paper.  :(

sorry I get six papers and I got nothing in any of them.

      • Rhiannon353

I received one in the Charleston Post & Courier, but they were all manufacturer coupons.  I was hoping they’d be store coupons so they can be stacked.

    • Bellaloveapet2

Hi, I have a question that maybe someone can answer, will CVS allow me to use overages on other products, or will they just give it to me for the price of the item?

      • Nita Royal

My CVS stores work like this:  Mfg coupons only credit up to the price of the item (if the Q value is higher than the item, it beeps, so the cashier enters it manually).  For CVS coupons from the red machine, it gives maximum value, so that overage goes against the overall total.  Therefore, the only overages I get are from the red machine.

        • Bellaloveapet2

aww man! Thanks you for letting me know that….but I would have had a total of $10 in overages I was gonna use :(

        • Bellaloveapet2

Thanks again…turns out you were right, I found this when I looked up their coupon policy: • In the event that any item’s price is less than the value of the coupon,CVS/pharmacy will accept the coupon only to the price of the item.CVS/pharmacy does not provide cash back in exchange for any coupons.oh well…I use them at bilo insteadIn the event that any item’s price is less than the value of the coupon,CVS/pharmacy will accept the coupon only to the price of the item.CVS/pharmacy does not provide cash back in exchange for any coupons.oh well…I use them at bilo instead

Does anyone know if the kids softsoap hand soap is included in the sale?

Also, does anyone know how much the scope 750ml mouthwash costs in the store (not online)?

      Thank you

      • TN Mom

I didn’t find any of the kids softsoap in my CVS.  Just the Pampered Hands raspberry.

      • It was at my store in Charleston SC. They had the spongebob kids softsoap.

    • Did you guys get the CVS coupons that were supposed to be in the paper today?  I got 3 papers from 2 different places and none of them had the CVS coupons.

      • Anonymous

I bought THE STATE and the CVS coupons were not in it. Don’t know if someone stole them or the newspaper did not include them!

        • Elllysmom626

I bought the State to and it did not have it in there!!!!  I even bought it at CVS thinking that it would definetly be in there, I was wrong!!!!

    • Aknapp65

HI~I bought three papers today & not one had the Red Plum ad, did anyone else have this problem & what can I do?

      • Teeceemail

Red Plum was the only insert I got and we checked all of the papers at the station before buying…

        • Anonymous

same here. with the exception of last week the greenville news has either had half or none at all of the coupon inserts for the last 5 weeks. It’s getting really annoying. I only bought 1 paper instead of the 2 i usually buy. Pretty soon it’s going to be 0 and I’ll find whole inserts somewhere else.

          • Lisa

Some papers seem to be saving both inserts for their subscribers.  I used to purchase extra copies of 2 different newspapers until I noticed week after week one of them was always “missing” an insert.  (Coincidentally, during this time I was receiving a free month of this newspaper and never had a problem with the one that was delivered.)

I emailed the newspaper and received a generic response that promised to “get back to me” and never did.  I stopped buying that paper but I flip through it in the store.  It never has all of the inserts.

          • Ellysmom626

I actually called the paper 2 weeks ago and complained, what I was told was they were having a shortage of inserts they distriibute them to their subscribers first then the put the extras in the area closest to Greenville, then farther out.  I live in a little town called Cross Hill, we are in the middle of nowhere so I havent been getting inserts either.  I usually buy 3-5 papers depending on what kind of coupons there are that week.  When I called, the man I spoke to was very nice and actually mailed me the inserts I was missing.  I really wish they would get this resolved because I will start buying another paper.  I have been buying the State, but that is so expensive, I have had to cut back on the amount of papers Ive been buying.!!!!!

      • I didn’t get a red plum in my paper either!  This is not the first time it’s happened.  And I’ve only been getting the paper for about 5 weeks.

I’m in the Orlando, FL area

        • Me

I was having a huge problem with Orlando Sentinel not putting the coupons in my paper. If you email them they will send them to you in the mail. I got both RP and SS this week so maybe they finally realized I would email them every week until they got it right.

      • blessedsmith

        2 purchased 1 redplum

No coupons here.  Complained to the paper.  Is there a Prilosec OTC coupon in the Extra insert????

      • Bellaloveapet2

I have a bunch of those coupons left from the past few weeks I think most are $4 off, not sure of the exp. date but they’re yours if u want :)

    • IG

Posted complaint on CVS’s Facebook page and am going to email them as well.

    • Phairplu

had a great day at CVS today.  Got so many needs paired with extracare bucks this week.  Also, the cashier at my store is so sweet, i made sure to tell her manager, love CVS!

    • Destiny691966

My CVS ad had it clearly marked on the front page to look for that coupon insert in the paper but there was not a one in any of the six papers I got. Has anyone found out anything about it?

      • Teeceemail

My papers did not have them either. And my husband looked through the whole stack before buying…

        • Nita Royal

Don’t feel bad…I actually got them in my paper (surprise!) but they’re only good for a short time and they’re mfg q’s anyway.  None of them good on current deals.

      • Michimaurin

I did not find the insert either this is so wrong bummer :(

      • Brandy

My papers did not have them either. Disappointed.

    • momto2aria

i got the cvs insert, they even put 2 in one newspaper but they are MQ not cvs. Dallas area.

I had trouble getting the Crest deal to work.  For whatever reason, the Crest Complete toothpastes weren’t triggering the ECB.  Manager had to override.
      I bought:
      (2) toothpastes, 4.4 oz size @ $3.29 each + (1) toothbrush @ $ 3.69 = 10.27; Used (3) $2 off coupons for total 4.27 plus tax.

      • Kati3878

I had the same thing happen to me in Florida. They didn’t even have the tags hanging showing that there were ECB to go with it.

      • yup same problem for me at two different stores. one cashier just printed the extrabucks and the ohter one for some odd reason said she couldnt print them so she handed me $5.

        • Lisa

Same problem here!  The first CVS said they couldn’t print the extrabucks for me so I asked for a refund and went to another store.  The manager at the second store printed them for me.

Despite the computer glitch, I still love CVS.  The associates at both stores were extremely professional.

      • Anonymous

I had the same problem. I bought 3 at $3.49 with $2 coupon for each. The ECB didn’t print, but the cashier printed for me.

    • Marhoff

Where is the Extra Coupon Savings insert??

      • Anonymous

It was in my Sunday newspaper with the sales papers.

        • April

I heard only certain regions received this. Where are you from and maybe I can find one. Thanks!

      • Michelle

I didn’t get one in my papers either. I’m in FL

      • Crafty_cat_86

I got it, but you’re not missing much: they’re just like Rite-Aid’s coupons in their weekly flyer.  They only last this week and the manu. coupons almost definitly won’t be accepted anywhere else (It gives a final price at CVS).  I”m very disappointed…

        • Queendeb67

I used the garnier coupons in target and those worked but tried to use the lay’s coupons in harris teeter and they didn’t work.  Go figure…

      • Anonymous

Has anyone gotten an insert in the Tennessean from Nashville TN?

    • Lisanicoleblackburn

My cvs wouldn’t take the Ajax coupon. They said it was just for laundry detergent even though it does not say that on the coupon. Has anyone else had this problem ?

      • Elle

Same at my cvs – I thought it might be just for detergents, because that is what is pictured in the ad with the coupon, but since it said “any” I thought I would try.  Since it beeped, I just had them put the ajax back!

      • DianneL

I think I read on this site some months back that those are two different Ajax companies, or at least from two different companies.

        • Tlwoodbury

          very interesting

        • Tlwoodbury

I was curious enough to look it up.  According to Wikipedia,  all Ajax products originated with Colgate-Palmolive;  but,  in 1971,  Colgate-Palmolive sold their laundry detergent line to Phoenix brands.  So,  the dishwashing liquid is owned by Colgate,  and the laundry detergent is owned by Phoenix.  That must be why the coupon,  which pictures laundry products,  doesn’t work on the dishwashing liquid.  I love being able to understand why the coupon didn’t work!

    • Cooper1187

Ajax dish soap 50c off coupon in October All You magazine. makes $.38

Anyone else have a problem with the Crest deal? I bought 3 mouthwash that had the sign under them. I got $5. for that transaction. It showed I purchased over 14. but the 4. did not count toward my second transaction(there is a limit of 2). I bought 3 of the toothpaste that had the sign under it. So in total I spent over 20. but only got the first 5ECB. The cashier made the register print out the second one. Am I the only one?

      • TN Mom

Nope.  Something is wrong with the toothpaste.

      • TN Mom

Nope.  Something is wrong with the toothpaste.

      •  I found some 4oz Crest that was ringing up $1.95 and I used my $2 q and got it for free.. The prices for the Others for the ECBs were all screwy

      • Kati3878

I had trouble with the Crest deal today. The cashier had to manually print the ECB because it wasn’t even registering in the computer. There were no tags on the shelves, so I had to grab the ad to make sure that I was buying the right stuff.

    • Stacyannw

my cvs didn’t have the thermacare or 8ct excedirn today, also for some reason my green tag isn’t registering either is anyone else having this issue

    • Anonymous

My store didn’t get the advertised 8 ct Excedrin. Anyone else?

      • April

My store did not have it out on the shelf this morning, but was giving it upon request from behind the counter. Hope this helps!

      • CourtneyD

At my store, they were not where I expected, which was either with the other medicine or in the travel section, but were hanging from tall baskets near the checkout counter where they usually keep bagged candy that is on special. I just happened to see them just before checking out. HTH!

      • Anonymous

Sounds like I have a store issue and not an in-stock issue. I specifically asked the Barney Fife manager and he said no, didn’t get it. period. Will try another store, thanks all!!

      • Kristina

My store didn’t have them out on the shelves. Didn’t even have a spot for them. I asked and he went to the back and brought them to me.

      • Diannascoupon

This excedrin was for the 8 count which is  not on the regular shelf.  It is a like a “special” that is like a travel size so it is on a strip near the front of the store, likely the register.

    • Hopperjr14

Yet another week of spending my time going to 2 CVS stores without finding any of the free after EB items…

      • Debbiecarnesjordan

I know what you mean. I’m getting tired of it.

      • Destiny691966

I dont even bother going shopping anymore on Sundays, I just wait till the end of the week when hopefully they have restocked and if not I will get a raincheck. Saves me the frustration.

    • April

I just want to give everyone a heads up!!!! The manager at my CVS store told me if households have more than 1 card with the same mailing address and phone number the system was going to kick out the other cards. Something about manufactures wanting this changed…… If you have muliple cards you will need to change your address if you want to keep it. This could be good for some and bad for others. Just wanted to let everyone know.

      • Sandi

Thanks for the info. Here’s my opinion:  If you have multiple cards you need to cancel the other ones – not just change your address. One per household doesn’t mean 2+ per household as long as the address is different.

      • Anonymous

That should eliminate misuse of multiple cards. If you really are getting supplies for your mom, she should have a different address than you (and if she doesn’t, then she doesn’t need another card since she is in your household).

    • Ericswifeowensmom

If the sale is b2g1 and I have a b2g1 manuf. Q, how many do I purchase, how many do I pay for and how many do I get free?

      • zebby

I think you would get 3 total, one free from the sale, and one free from your q so you would be paying for one, getting two free.  Seems to make sense that way, but I could be wrong…

    • Keatons44

I got a $ coupon for 48 oz M&Ms at the red machine, but can’t figure out what it’s for!! The biggest bag they had was 11oz (and that was the big bag o’Halloween candy).  Anyone know?

      • April

Actually I did the same as you….I thought 48 oz….That’s a lot of M&M’s!!! After looking and having someone help we found a LARGE  bag on the very bottom and it was $12 and some……I was not going to pay that.

      • Ladymoon0121

I got that same one and I looked at the candy. There was a huge bag at my local CVS on the bottom shelf that was that size, however it costed 12.99.

      • Ericswifeowensmom

If thats the biggest bag then maybe ask the manager if you can substitite and still use your q.

    • Aledascoupons

Got my FREE razor at CVS and got my FREE razor at Walgreens with .18 back. WOOT WOOT. Used my $3 off coupon on Huggies bought 3 bags and the 10 ECB when you spend $30.  Got 69 Huggies for $17., $9 IN coupons and 10 ECB..  WOW

      • April

      • Sham

I agree this was my best week ever at CVS, got free therma wrap and razors!!!  plus lots of other good deals and received $27 back in ECB for my next visit!!!

    • Wethedeans

When I went to CVS this Sunday morning at 9 when they opened, I couldn’t find the excedrin on the shelf. So the cashier told me that they probably got wiped out yesterday. I said, “yesterday?” and she informed me that they start accepting the new sale opportunities on Saturday at 4 pm!
Others of you out there might want to check into this yourselves. I know that next weekend I will be ready for action Saturday at 4!

      • Anonymous

I love this about my CVS. There are usually a couple of us at the store at that time. My advice is to check the receipt and your ECBs. Often when I go too close to 4pm, some of them don’t print. The cashiers are usually great about it and print them for me anyway. I guess maybe the system isn’t completely updated at that time.

      • momto2aria

just to be on the safe side check prices on red box before purchase.they activate at for but sometimes it takes 45 minutes to get sunday prices.
and excedrins are not on the shelf, they hang them around the store, mine has them by the register.

      • TLF

My store in Jonesville,  FL,  used to do this,  but at least one employee did not like it.  She harrassed customers about it.  Corporate contacted my store to remedy the situation.  Since that day,  my store no longer set their computers to start the Sunday sales on Saturday night.  So if I want to shop Saturday night,  I go to a CVS in Alachua (almost the same distance from me as the Jonesville store.)  I am so glad CVS stores are dotted all over the map in my aresa,  so that if you don’t like one,  you can shop at another!  I love CVS.

      • Diannascoupon

The excedrin that is on “special” is an 8 count and is not found on the shelves, rather is on a strip like a travel bottle.  Ours was attached at the front register.

    • Davidandie

I went to CVS in zephyrhills, fl. Bought a gallon of milk and attempted to use the TG Lee printed coupon and was told they no longer accept internet coupons :( Anyone else have this happen? I do not use printed coupons often enough to know. Thanks

    • Montgomery6317

My CVS wouldn’t let me use the $3 Rimmel coupon from the All You because it says Walmart! :(

      • Unless it says “redeem only at walmart” or something to that effect, they should accept it. Try again. Call the mgr. A LOT of the All You coupons have a walmart logo on them but they can be used anywhere.

      • Arlandry

I was also not able to use this coupon yesterday.  It beeped when the manager scanned it and she would not take it and said there was nothing she could do about it. :(

    • Russmax

I bought two papers and neither had the extra CVS insert? Can you get it in the store?

      • Nymomnfla

I also did not receive the extra CVS coupon inserts.  I called the store and they could not explain why it was not in the paper and told me to contact corporate. I called the newspaper company and they stated that they never received the inserts from CVS.  I live in Pinellas County Florida and our paper is the St. Pete Times and Tampa Tribune.  Someone at CVS Corporate needs to straighten this out.  I shop there every week and this is not good for CVS!

        • Reesecuptyler

Glad I saw your post. I was just getting ready to leave a post about this as I get the same paper as you. I looked through the whole papaer and was confused. I figured they would be inserted inside the other coupon inserts. I am disappointed. Hopefully they will insert it next week.

      • Anonymous

The Anniston, AL, store(s) have it in the store just inside the door.  My sweet cashier pointed it out to us!

    • Angela

I also did not find the CVS insert in my Atlanta Journal paper.  I got one, my mom gets an at home delivery nd a family friend gives me hers and there were none in any of these papers.   Their add is advertising it but they are no where tobe found.  Anyone have any answers.

      • Chris

Nope – my delivered AJC didn’t have it, my delivered MDJ didn’t have it, and the 8 AJCs I bought in Walmart this afternoon in Acworth had some diff ads that I didn’t get in Smyrna but no CVS Q insert.  :-/

      • Diannascoupon

We also did not get it in our Knoxville paper but I didn’t think to ask the store clerk about it.

    • Lisa

Just wanted to let everyone know that I received the CVS coupon flyer in my Columbus Dispatch here in ohio.  Most of them do say manufactures Q at the top but there are 4 that say store coupon.  Which are:

Progresso Soup or Green Giant Veggies 4/$4  stack with a manuf. q for $1/4 in SS 9/11 makes them .75 cents each

Old El Paso Stuffers 2/$4 stack with 2 manuf. q for $1/1 in SS 8/07 makes them $1 each
      or
Old El Paso Dinner Kit 2/$4 stack with 2 manuf. q for .50/1 in SS 9/18 makes them $1.50 each

Gold Metal All-Purpose Flour 2/$4  (havent found a coupon yet)

      Nature Valley Bars 2/$4
      or
      Fiber One Bars 2/$4

So maybe take a closer look at the ones that you guys got and see if some ARE store coupons….hope this helps y’all  :)

      • Lisa

just found a coupon for the nature valley or fiber one….75/1 in the GM insert from 8/07

The candy deals not ringing up right at my cvs. The Hershey candy was ringing up 3/$8.97 for the 3/$10 deal, causing me to loose out on my extrabucks. Same with the Mars fun size deal 3/$8. Rang up as 4/$10. Again lost out on the extrabucks. Didn’t catch it until after I got home.

      • NCCouponMom

you can call the 800 number and they may be able to load the ecb on your card for you. i had to do that once

is anyone else having issues with their green tag registering, yesturday and today both mine didn’t track, check your recipts and let me know thanks.

      • Mine isn’t tracking either! I was supposed to get a ecb yesterday but i never got one :(

      • Arnol017

What is green tag registering? I’m new to this stuff! Thanks

        • G8rleslie

They are talking about the Green Bag Tag. You have to basically bring a reusable bag and they will scan your bag tag. Every four visits/scans, you get a $1ECB. The Green Bag Tags are for sale up front. Every once in a while you can get the bag tag for free. Also, you should know that you can only use the tag once per day. HTH.

      • Mine to I think the system is messed up

      • Practice_peace

Mine too.  I called the 800 # on the back of the ECB card and the women apologized and credited my account.  Next time I go to the red machine, a $1 ECB will print.  They must be having issues.

      • Brenda

Thank you so much for bringing this up!! My green bag tag hasn’t been registering my last 3 visits-called customer service and they will have it attached to my receipt the next time I scan. So glad to know that it wasn’t me but a problem with the system. Customer service could not have been any nicer!!

      • Anonymous

Yes, I had issues on Saturday in 2 different stores and it did not even update the total and missed one print altogether. However, it worked last night

Let me know if I am wrong on this candy scenario…

      Hershey’s Singles, 1.4-2 oz, B2G1

Hersheys Air Delight Aerated Milk Chocolate Bar

-Free Hershey’s Air Delight milk chocolate bar WYB regular milk chocolate bar, max $1.19, SS 8/28

      Buy 6 Hershey’s Singles (usually $1.19) for B2G1 = $4.76
Use 6 -Free Hershey’s Air Delight milk chocolate bar WYB regular milk chocolate bar, max $1.19, SS 8/28****But they still count towards the $10 total. So the computer registers you paid a total of $11.90, but you only paid $4.76 and get back $3 ECB’s so its like paying $1.76 for 12 candy bars…Hey, couldn’t we all use a bit more chocolate!!

      • JenneyG

That’s completely wrong. To be able to use 6 of those coupons you have to buy 12 bars. You pay for 8 of them because of the b2g1 deal. $1.19*8=$9.52. Free item doesn’t go toward $10 purchase so you don’t get the ecb.

        • Nymomnfla

How is it using 6 q’s means paying for 8? I agree with you using 6 of those coupons means you have to buy 12.  The deal would be 6 q’s b2g1 @ $1.19 ea. Using 6 q’s means buy 12 get 6 free totaling $14.28 minus $3.00 ECB totaling $11.28 for 18 candy bars.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

        • Anonymous

Ok, I see now. The only way my scenario would work is if the computer allowed you to use the Free Air Delight coupons on the free item from the B2G1 deal. I am not sure how the computer would recognize it.

It would work if the computer allowed me to use 6 Free Air Delight coupons, but if it does not, I would fall short $0.48. Thanks for clarifying!!

      • Minx3194

        Buy 18
        Use 9 x BOGO coupons
        Store pays for 6
Pay for 3 ($3.57), get 15 free and get back $3 ECB
        Buy 6 Hershey’s Air Delight Bar @ $1.19 each
        Use 3 x BOGO coupons
        Store will pay for 2
Pay $1.19 for (1) and get 5 free

        Is how it works..

      • Nymomnfla

I understand your calculations for the buy 4 get 2 free = $4.76.  I do not calculate using 6 q’s totaling $11.90.  My calculation is if you use 6 q’s the total would be $14.28 and 6 free for a total of $7.14.  You would qualify for the $3.00 ECB bringing it to a total of $11.28 for 18 hershey’s single candy bars.  If I am incorrect someone please correct me.

      • ImAGoonie

I am new and want to understand this type of deal.

The CVS ad has a sale
        Hershey’s Singles B2G1
You only to have a card to get this deal.

Now you can use coupons on top of this deal, correct?

        I too have the coupon,
Free Hershey’s Air Delight milk chocolate bar WYB regular milk chocolate bar, max $1.19, SS 8/28
Do the Hershey singles qualify as a regular milk chocolate bar?
If yes, can I use 2 or 3 of the coupons with this deal and get 2 or 3 free air delights?

I believe I understand that the original B2G1 free that the free bar does not qualify towards the $10.00 to get the $3.00 ECB

However wouldn’t the free Air Delights count towards the $10.00 because it is only free after the coupons?

Thanks to everyone this site is helping so much with our very tight budget. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!

        • Anonymous

Yes, the total is after store sales/prices and before manuf Qs. (think of manuf Qs as form of payment as if you were paying with a cehck)

          • ImAGoonie

Thanks. Just realized I somehow double posted thi question.

    • Jule

The trident gum $2/3 Trident products, SS 7/24 expire 9/17!

    • Aggie

This may be in the wrong place, but I swore I saw Zyrtec for a REALLY good price on here somewhere. Does anyone know if its CVS and I’m just not seeing it, or if it was another drug store, or I’m just simply losing my mind???

      • Winlapira

its on target,, i think it is 2/30 :)

        • Coupons4knights

If Target has it 2/$30, I think there is still a $7/off 1 coupon out there (30ct or higher) & you could use 2 (unless Target doesn’t allow…I don’t coupon there) & that would be 2/$16 which is $8 a pc & pretty awesome for Zyrtec.  I did a similar deal @ Rite Aid but it was slightly better because I also had their $1/1 video coupon (2 of those) & so I got it for around $6/bottle.  Plus I found special 40 ct for the price of 30 ct bottles :-)

      • Ali_gator82

I think it was walgreens. look under there.

      • Anonymous

Last week someone posted that they had a coupon from the kiosk for $10 off. They also had a mfg coupon for $7 off. Last week the Zyrtec was 18.99, so they only paid 1.99. I also have the store coupon but my mfg coupon is $5. I think it is 19.49 now, so I will pay 4.49.

    • ericswifeowensmom

      does a b2g1 sale using b1g1 man. q’s translate to b1g2?

      • yes!

      • Diannascoupon

Yes.  I used a hershey’s cpn with their sale and essentially paid for one candy bar and got 2 free.  :)

    • Nymomnfla

I just want to let everyone know to check their K-Mart flyer because mine is doubling unlimited coupons up to $0.99 this week.  I live in Pinellas County, Florida and don’t know if it is regional.

      • RachelS

Milledgeville GA had the same insert- looks like I might be going there some!

    • Tlwoodbury

FYI–If you receive a 25% off coupon from CVS and opt to put it on your Extracare card,  BEWARE.  The conditions of the coupon read thus:  “EXCLUDES SALE & PROMOTIONAL ITEMS, PRESCRIPTIONS, ALCOHOL, GIFT CARDS, LOTTERY, MONEY ORDERS, POSTAGE STAMPS, PRE-PAID CARDS & TOBACCO PRODUCTS. NO CASH BACK. TAX CHARGED ON PRE-COUPON PRICE WHERE REQUIRED. EXTRACARE CARD MUST BE PRESENTED TO GET THESE SAVINGS. SAVINGS APPLIED TO TOTAL QUALIFYING PURCHASE AFTER OTHER CVS COUPONS & DISCOUNTS ARE APPLIED. OFFER NOT VALID IN BEAUTY 360 STORES, ”  but this is NOT TRUE.  It leaves important stipulations out.  If you purchase even ONE sale item in your transaction,  even if ALL of the other items in your transaction are non-sale items,  you will NOT receive the 25% off anything in your cart.  This happened to me yesterday.  When my non-sale items did not receive the 25% off,  the manager was called to help.  The manager told me to not return the items but rather to call corporate on Monday because they would give me the 25% off as a refund.  This was not true.  Corporate refused because by the time their offices were back open after the weekend,  the coupon had expired.  They said the only way to remedy it would be to redo the transaction,  splitting it into two,  but this was impossible because the 25% off coupon had already expired on Sunday. This was Monday.  They did offer me two small free items from the store,  but this did not equal the amount I had lost.  I had already opened the items,  having trusted the manager’s word,  so there is no going back now.
Moral of the story:  If you use the 25% off coupon,  make sure there are only non-sale items in your transaction,  and make sure it is your first transaction after having put the 25% off coupon on your card.  If you want to also purchase sale items,  put them in a second transaction by themselves.

      • Chris

I used mine Friday night without issue – I bought 1 bag of Nestle Crunch fun size, 2 cartons of cigarettes, 9 Skinny Cow singles, plus a Futuro brace and it applied only to the brace.  All one transaction.  Maybe they messed something up with the software over the weekend?

        • Anonymous

I’ve been doing this for over 2 years now, am I missing something? What 25% off q are you referring to? The only ones I get are promotional emails that will give off of online purchases.  I have always disregarded these as not worth it. Insight please?

          • Chris

Right – same Q.  Comes in your email but is also usually available in your online account for print or send to card.  That’s the one I printed and used.  It looks like it applied to the brace after Qs just not to anything else.  I was just commenting that I used mine in one transaction without difficulty and had no need to split them up.

      • guest

not true. I used mine onThursday and had both sale and non sale items and my 25% came off.

      • Nymomnfla

I also learned the hard way putting 25% off coupon on my card and it would not work on anything that was on sale only on regular items not advertised.  I won’t put anything on my card anymore as I currently print out any savings offered by CVS.  I consider this as a lesson learned by my mistake of not reading the coupon correctly.

        • Pinkchick82686

It worked for me.  i did not think it would but i saved me an extra $10 last week because it took 25% off everything.  it was great, i have been putting it on my card bc if i dont they wont even scan the coupon because i only buy things that are on sale

      • Anonymous

Actually, there was no need for splitting when I did and have done it only once.  What I do not understand is that the manager was supposed to correct that for you wether the coupon was expired or not.  If you went after the expiration, they could either a) estimate the 25% of overpayment on the bill and refund it to you on the spot or b) refund the whole transaction and rerun (if you wanted) the transaction and manually entered the 25% discount.  Coupon expired was not your fault but there was a legit reason to fix their problem.

    • Mbenfield17

For anyone who wanted to purchase the Yuban Coffee.  I just spoke with the CVS Corporate Office and the Yuban Coffee coupon on the CVS Coupon Circular was a misprint.  It is only sold Online and they will not honor the coupon with an online purchase.

    • Almsw119

I had a great trip Sunday!  I had $15 ECB to start with, and I would up with a newspaper, 4 cans of soup, Olay facial cleanser, Excederin, 3 packs of gun, 2 Frappuccinos, a Soft Soap body wash, and a softsoap hand soap for $5 including tax! AND I did all of this with my 18 month old “pushing the cart”  ;)

      • Kick your fanny!! I’m impressed. Although my 18 month old loves to flirt with the manager!!

      • Michelle

Wow…all that and 3 packs of GUNS!  LOL!  ;-)

    • micrid

Does anyone know what zip code to use for the schick razor $5.00 cp? I guess they may be all out.

    • The SS flyer I have only has coupons for schick DISPOSABLE razors…Is the Q in the “other” SS flyer???!

    • Yes, please!

    • Valerie Alley

NE 1 know if the 25oz beggin strips are included in the 2/$6 Purina deal? That seems REALLY cheap since they are normally like $9.99 at my store.  I’d love for this to be true, but I kinda doubt it.  I have been in yet, but thought y’all might have. Thanks!

      • April

Yes, I bought some for my babies as well! It was a GREAT price! :)

        • Valerie Alley

Thanks April. My store only had the 6 oz, but I will try a couple more stores before I give up.

          • Valerie Alley

Nope, 3 cvs, and the 25oz bag were not ringing up 2/$6 oh well.

    • katie lake

My CVS doesn’t have the excedrin ECBs on our sale sheet and I couldn’t even find the product in store. Are there usually differences like that?

      • Just4yall

Did you ask the Cashier? That is what I had to do, i couldnt find it either. They had one strip hanging off an endcap.

      • jen

i found them hanging on a strip at the end of the pain releiver aisle.
they where not in our sale paper either but i got my ecb’s when i checked out.

    • 3gakids1521

So, here is my frustrated comment.  I have pretty much given up on the drugstore chains completely after today.  I have seen many times on here, you have to hit the sale on the first day.  I just don’t see eye to eye with that comment.  The main problem is the stores supply of “on sale” merchandise.  It is never sufficient.  And also, even if you do wait for their truck to come in during the week, they never get it out and when you ask them for it, they tell you they haven’t gotten through all the delivery yet.  It is so frustrating.  God forbid if you have a coupon that expires on a certain day during the sale.  Your pretty much just screwed then.  I think I am going to start my retreat back to walmart where they will honor any sale ad, will match that with a coupon and they pretty much all do have sufficient store stock when you need it.

      • Acrawford62009

Have you ever thought of asking for a rain check.  And the issue is not with the stores having insufficient stock….the issue is people going in the first day (or even at midnight on saturday night) and clearing the shelves.  If people would not be so greedy it would leave product for others.

        • Surfergirl8989

Theres a lady in Fayetteville Tn where I live that clears the shelves at Walgreens, CVS ,and Wal Mart. She gets to Walgreens as soon as they open every sunday. Our CVS doesnt open till 12 so she sits in the parking lot and wait till they open. She is a very rude and selfish person.

          • Eae1959

My CVS finally got tired of that and put a limit of two items per customer due to gas station owners copying coupons bringing in the family and buying up everything they had so they could triple the price for their stores…Works out now that everyone can purchase a reasonable amount. I thought the cards had limits as to how many per household anyway…part of that issue is CVS allowing it. All they have to do is say no to her and send her on her way.

        • Michelle

Not always…I go into our CVS and Walgreens on saturday night at the earliest time they allow shopping for the next week’s sales and they just haven’t done the work to get the product in for the sales ads.  I’ve asked them why and they just shrug their shoulders.  It takes a manager who is on top of their game to know what to order ahead of time.  I’ve seen some of those managers online here who post that they’ve ordered stock for the coming week’s sales…I just wish they lived where I live.  They don’t do that here.  It’s frustrating.  The shelf clearers in our town are the sales staff who make sure the shelves are always clear and never bother to make sure things are in stock!

        • Anonymous

AT CVS, there is a limit usually just one on the deal; so how how does it matter of one comes at midnight or the last day? Shelves would always be clear because stores cant keep million items in stock

        • Kat in Columbus

Yes, this is what has happened at my cvs.  The ads say limits on each item so people are just being unethical..

      • Pinkchick82686

Sorry you have had bad luck. I seem to do pretty well even on the last day of the sale week.  The only thing I could not get this week was the Re nu but just got a raincheck.  I dont like Walmart, so i guess everyone is different, they make things to difficult because every cashier is different.

      • MK

CVS will give you a raincheck with no expiration date if they are out of stock…did this yesterday.

      • Anonymous

Do you have several stores in your area or just a few? I’ve noticed that some stores are better at stocking and/or are less shopped at than others so I shop there.
I hate giving Walmart business and it seems more of a hassle to try to price match there. Plus, they won’t give you back ecbs or anything so you’re not really maximizing on the deals that way.
As others said, you can always get a raincheck that never expires. And I’d rather put my money in a smaller business with a few more competitors who specializes in pharmaceutical products, than a super center that dominates but knows nothing about it’s merchandise. Just my two cents!

    • If you’re looking to buy the Stride gum, make sure you get the flavor pictured in the ad (Shaun White Whitemint). The other flavors were not on sale at my CVS. There were also only two scents of Softsoap pumps on sale :-(

    • MustangLadyred

The following coupons were not available in the Lynchburg News & Advance paper:
-$2/3 Trident products, SS 7/24$1/3 Trident gum, single pks, SS 9/18

This is what I got when I clicked the printable link for the75/1 Softsoap body wash printable “Please note that we do not have any special offers at the current time. Please check back soon.”

      • Wethedeans

I’m glad I live in Bedford where I can choose btwn Roanoke times or Lynchburg papers and I choose Roanoke times because of the better coupons!

        • Anonymous

I used to live in Roanoke and recently relocated to Lynchburg. You’re right! The coupons my mom saves for me from the Roanoke Times are better than the ones in Lynchburg.

    • Emailforcoupons2010

My CVS (Yadkinville, NC) is AWESOME! I love going there and the cashiers are always so helpful! I did one order and got two SoftSoaps @ $3 each (had two .70 coupons), two Excedrin 8 cts @ .99 each, 34 cans of Friskies canned cat food @ .45 each (had three RecycleBank coupons, B2G1), and two Colgate Optic White toothpastes @ $2.45 each (had 2 $1 CVS store coupons and 2 $1.50 manufacturers coupons). I paid OOP $16.97 (had $5 ECB and .99 ECB) and have $8.98 in ECBs! Ended up saving 58% with ECBs to spend next week.

Does anyone know what zip to use for the $5.00 Schick Quattro Razor coupon?

      • Anonymous

I think the print limit was reached on it a day or two after it became available.

    • Diannascoupon

Our CVS is having a complete clearance of their summer stock.  I got a few neat items for 25 cents.  Of course nothing that would have a coupon to use, but still items that are useful.

    • RachelS

I was lucky enough to get two of the CVS insert coupons and it helped! Select Kellogs cereals were on sale at my store, $2.49 for Special K fruit and yogurt (which is an awesome deal) and the same for raisin bran crunch. The coupon was for $0.50, so I couldnt resist getting my brand for $1.99! My store had everything but the Glade scent thing and the Excedrin, so I hope I can go back and find that later this week.

The Crest Complete $5 ECB when you buy $10 deal is actually a MM. The 4.0 oz tube is on sale for $1.99. Buy 5 use (5) $2 off q’s and pay nothing and get $5 ECB back.

    • Couponjunkie

Had a great trip to CVS today. Scanned my card when I got there and out popped their coupon for 6.99 off Children’s Triaminic Fever Reducer. As I made my rounds through the store I stopped to see how much it normally was and it was 6.99!  Got it for FREE!  They also gave me a few weeks ago $10 off Zyrtec which I used w/ a $5 off man. to make last weeks sale 30 tablets for $3.99.  I’m lovin’ CVS!

I am new and want to understand this type of deal. The CVS ad has a saleHershey’s Singles B2G1You only to have a card to get this deal. Now you can use coupons on top of this deal, correct?I too have the coupon,Free Hershey’s Air Delight milk chocolate bar WYB regular milk chocolate bar, max $1.19, SS 8/28 Do the Hershey singles qualify as a regular milk chocolate bar?If yes, can I use 2 or 3 of the coupons with this deal and get 2 or 3 free air delights?I believe I understand that the original B2G1 free that the free bar does not qualify towards the $10.00 to get the $3.00 ECBHowever wouldn’t the free Air Delights count towards the $10.00 because it is only free after the coupons? Thanks to everyone this site is helping so much with our very tight budget. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!

      • Gingiraffe

ECB deals are total before coupons, so you would need a total qualifying purchase of at least $10 before your give your coupons to get the ECBs back.

      • Anonymous

I am not sure if regular singles qualify as milk choc or not. I just tell you the technical aspect.

        A) The total to attain an advertised ecb is before manuf Qs and only the store sale prices count towards the total. Thus, b2g1 will only count the sale price of the two because ther third bar would be $0.00 in store register memory.

        B) You will be buying item A, item B, and item C.  Item C is $0.00 or “free” given by store/sales. Manuf Q can be used irrespective of store sales. Thus, manuf Q. b1g1 will kick in for item B. Therefore, you will be only paying in cash for item A only.

        • ImAGoonie

Question for yall…I am planning to go and get 2 more pack of diapers to complete the ‘buy 6 get 1 free’ diaper deal.  I also want to use the current spend $30 get $10 in ecb’s.  Can I go tomorrow, buy the 2 packs and then when the Q for the free pack prints in a couple days go back and get the free pack, complete the $30 needed to spend, and get my 10ecb’s?  Im sure this is really confusing…basically can I break the transaction up and use the ‘free’ pack towards the $30 ecb deal?

      • ericswifeowensmom

that sounds like it should work just fine. If the free pack doesn’t print before the deal is over just make sure to get a raincheck for the remainder of what you need towards the deal.

      • ab

Yes–I did it last week when it was $10 back on @25.

    • Couponinchef

I did my 1st CVS trip today it was so fun!! I got formula for cheap! I can’t believe I never tried this before!!!!

    • CCNJFL

Question – Can I get a new ECB card every time I go to CVS so I could get the limit 1 deals over & over? Last time I was there the girl just gave me a card from the stack and I did not register or anything??

      • Anonymous

That would be cheating the system. Plus, you have to use the same card the ecbs are associated with so you’d have to keep track of which ecbs go with which card and that would be quite complicated. I would recommend you register one card per household like you’re supposed to do.

      •  I suppose you *could*, but it’s highly unethical.

      • Kati3878

I think that CVS has the limits in place so that it’s fair for everyone. It’s not fair or right for a few people to try to find a way to cheat the system.

      • Jbush27

It wouldn’t work even if it was ethical.  ECB’s are tied to a certain card and you can only get the deal the amount of times it states, as your card keeps track.

      • Anonymous

ecbs are attached to your card, cant use them on other card/tramsactions. So, it would be too time consuming and confusing to keep multiple cards and their ecbs.  Besides, ecbs are basically “free” money that manuf. are giving you. They might opt out and not give you even one-will you complain then?

    • Acartertn

I went to CVS last night to get the Renu contact solution.  There was one box left that was a bonus box that had 2 full size bottles in it.  So I got 2 bottles for the price of 1!  I don’t visit CVS often because it is too hard to go with my kids, but I was thrilled to get this deal last night.   I had $6 in ECB. So I only paid $3 OOP for the contact solution plus I got $7 ECB back.

I know ecb will print if its short of 8 cents on the total; will it print if its 15 cents short? (respond from your concrete experience)

        • Anonymous

Last month, I did the same transaction and got $10 gas card.

        • Susanizanurse

I did Purina deal (buy $15 get 3$ ECB) on Mon that totaled $14.85 and my $3 ECB printed fine.

          • Anonymous

Thank you! So it is now confirmed that 15 cents short will print ecb. Anyone with 16 cents short and got the ecb?

    • If anyone hasn’t gotten the Thermacare deal yet there are coupons on their website for $3 off one heat wrap!

        • Vandyatkins

never mind I thought you meant cvs website. I found it on thermacare after I posted. My bad sorry

      • Lunasolei79

I just printed mine out & it was for 2ct or larger, so it doesn’t look like it will work with the deal (or at least the one that I got won’t).

        • Lunasolei79

Also, I just noticed the expiration date on mine: 5/14/2011 :(

    • BuTeeful29

what zip code can i get the schick razor coupon under?

    • AMR

wherer is the rimmel manu q?

      • Anonymous

i found it at walgreens, its a tearpad coupon expring on 11/30/11…also you can find $ 3 off rimmel mascara coupon in all you magazine or $ 1 off rimmel coupon in redplum inserts

      • Anonymous

it is still available on redplum website $1 off any rimmel product

    • Russnlisa

I know inserts differ from region to region. My inserts usually had what was posted on SS until lately. Now it’s 50 – 50 if the coupon is even there and many times it’s a different value. SO, my question is – does anyone know if they realigned the “coupon insert regions?” I’m not complaining, I love this site, and Jenny has saved my family thousands but something is definitely different.

      • Shay

I agree. I am getting very frustrated with the difference in coupon inserts. I spend way to much time looking for a certain coupon only to find my insert doesn’t have it. And it’s becoming a  more frequent thing. Not sure how to go about this now. Would it be better for me to just cut all the coupons and keep them categorized? I work full time so I need a quick way to find what I need.  Any thoughts would be welcome.  Thanks

    • Vandyatkins

The Qs in the paper say Man. coupon so im assuming yo ucan use them anywhere. please corect me if im wrong

    • Kat in Columbus

Okay, I think I am right on this but correct me if I am wrong.  The olay facial cleanser is .99 if you use the coupon and the in store coupon.  Did anyone else get ths CVS store coupon for the olay in the paper?  When you use the $2 then it should be .99.  It must be the case because it was all gone when I went in to buy it.

      • Amyloves2shop

my store had it on sale for $3.99 and I used the $2.00 off coupon that was in this past Sunday’s paper so I paid $1.99. My store did not have an in store coupon

      Read This
      Deal Idea

      i) You will buy item A (store sale price $1.19), item B (store sale price $1.19), item C (store sale price $0.00) ==> $2.38 (towards $10 total) = $2.38 of $10

ii) You will buy item A (store sale price $1.19), item B (store sale price $1.19), item C (store sale price $0.00) ==> $2.38 (towards $10 total) = $4.76 of $10

iii) You will buy item A (store sale price $1.19), item B (store sale price $1.19), item C (store sale price $0.00) ==> $2.38 (towards $10 total) = $7.14 of $10

iv) You will buy item A (store sale price $1.19), item B (store sale price $1.19), item C (store sale price $0.00) ==> $2.38 (towards $10 total) = $9.52 of $10

      v) You will buy item A (store sale price $1.19), item B (store sale price $1.19), item C (store sale price $0.00) ==> $2.38 (towards $10 total) = $11.90 of over $10 requirement

vi) Throw in a 16th bar for additional $1.19 = total $13.09 (of over $10 requirement)

It gets interesting. Manuf Qs can be used IRRESPECTIVE of Store sales. Thus, in the eyes of manuf. you are buying 16 bars as outlined above.

So you may use 8 b1g1 Qs ==> 9.52 total manuf Q deducted from your above total of 13.09 ===> $3.57 payable to get 16 bars and also get your $3 ecb back making all

      ========>>>>> 16 bars for 57 cents <<<<<==========

Of course, the real challenge is if you have 8 coupons (still) !

      • ImAGoonie

If the B1G1 Q does not qualify for the B2G1 store sale Hershey bar. Would this work:

        1) Buy item A (Hershey bar $1.19), item B (Hershey Bar $1.19) item C (Hershey Bar store sale $0.00) ==> (towards $10 total) = $2.38 of $10

        2) Buy item A (Hershey bar $1.19), item B (Hershey Bar $1.19) item C (Hershey Bar store sale $0.00) ==> (towards $10 total) = $4.76 of $10

        3) Buy item A (Hershey bar $1.19), item B (Hershey Bar $1.19) item C (Hershey Bar store sale $0.00) ==> (towards $10 total) = $7.14 of $10

Now the B1G1 Q is buy 1 Hershey bar get an Air Delight bar free.
So you are buying 2 Hershey bars for each line above……

Can you use 2 Q for each line = 6 Air delights @ $1.19 each
        6 x $1.19 = $7.14
Grand Total $14.28 (over $10 requirement)

        If I can only use 1 Q for each line = 3 Air delights @ $1.19 each
        3 x $1.19 = $3.57
Grand Total $10.71 (over $10 requirement)

Thanks Mysteroius_Mentalist for all your help.

OK, I assumed above that AD variety was part of b2g1 free store sales. Apparently it is not as outlined in ad above (I have not checked the flyer)

If AD variety is not part of b2g1 free store sale (but it is part of $3 ecb), then I am coming up with this as best case scenario

Buy 6 Milk choc. and 6 AD
out of 6 Milk choc., 2 are at 0.00 store sales so they do not count towards ecb
          so your total would be

          Milk choc. 4×1.19 = 4.76, and
          AD 6×1.19 = 7.14
          Total = 11.90 towards ecbs
          deduct 6 manuf Qs value  7.14 = due $4.76
get back $3, so all 16 for $1.76

“Lines” above were for simplicity and on assumption that AD variety was also a part of b2g1 sale. (Sorry if I misunderstood your reasoning)

          • 4boysmom4

Thanks.  I came up with same scenario.  My husband thought I was crazy and said he would be surprised if it works.  Air Delight is part of the deal.  Stores just can’t keep it in stock.  Hoping to try it out this afternoon when my store restocks. I’ll prove to the old man that his wife isn’t as crazy as he thinks :)

      • Wethedeans

I did it buying 6 candy bars, 3 air and 3 other. Used 3 of the B1G1 coupons and total was 1.31, or something like that. That was so cool that I did it again 3 more times. 24 candy bars for less than 5 bucks!

    • Jami_christopher

I have a question about the huggies diapers and the spend 30.00 get 10.00 rr back. My sale paper did not picture huggies but you have it listed above as included in the sale. I have some really good coupons and was hoping to use them on huggies this week. Do you know forsure that huggies are included in the sale? I know they were last week. Thanks so much!!

      • NewMommy2

It’s only the huggies Easy ups, pull ups or good nite underwear. The Pampers diapers are on sale & part of the deal

How were you able to use the peelies and the $1 coupon??? They are both manufacturers coupons, right? Coupon fraud?

    • Coupon2savemore

I shop in Elberton, GA and they do not have the Crest and scope deal for some reason. They have it on Colgate sensitive? Errrr Makes me mad!!!

    • Amyloves2shop

My CVS ad has buy John Frieda Precision Foam Hair Colour get a FREE John Frieda Collection shampoo, conditioner or styler. I received a coupon in the mail for a FREE box of John Frieda foam hair colour about 2 weeks ago. So I got the hair colour and shampoo for FREE!! But wait it gets better on my receipt there were $3.00 in extra bucks for purchasing over $10.00 in Curel products. If you were not one of the lucky ones to get the FREE coupon by mail there is still a deal available.
I scanned my CVS card at the coupon center at the store and received a coupon for $4.00 off the hair colour and there is a coupon for $2.00 off the hair colour from the 8/28/11 smart source. And you would be elligible for the $3.00 in extra bucks for purchasing over $10.00 in Curel products.

      • Anonymous

OMG, just did the same deal — just got the free coupon in the mail TODAY and it expires TODAY! Also, there’s a $1 off any John Frieda shampoo/cond MQ you could use as well. The cashier and manager debated a bit about the CVS $4 on top of the free Q, and she let it through. Of course, I needed other items to cover the overage so I did the Revlon deal with the $1 and $2 peelies on them.
        High five!!

I’ll post in current CVS ad too…the red coupon machine gave me a
coupon for $6.99 off Triaminic Fever Reducer. SS 8/21 has a $1 coupon.
My store had it listed as $7.29 so it is a money maker with both
      coupons.

    • Couponpatsy

My CVS would not take the coupons for the AJAX dish detergent…….anyone else have this problem?

      • Tljcnj

I’ve had people try this before because of the picture.  As long as it reads any product I make them honor it. Or they can void the whole thing and put it all back.  I’ve even been known to call corp while standing in line.  The store managers really hate this.

        • Blahblah

I worked at CVS for 5 years. You are the person we loathe to see. We are just doing our job and you make it miserable for us. Then our store managers take it out on us. So thanks :)

          • Chris

Well maybe if some cashiers were a little nicer about not being able to do something then some customers wouldn’t get irate about it.  A little empathy goes a long way.  And why not call the Manager up to deal with it themselves?  Then they can’t take anything out on you because you followed procedure by calling them to handle the complaint instead of just saying “so sorry you can’t do that or I can’t help you”.  It’s called customer service for a reason – when I tell my clients I can’t do something or they can’t do something I at least empathize with them and then offer an alternative.

            • Blahblah

Trust me I had excellent customer service. Always told them with a smile, but unfortunately we still had customers who loved to call corporate because they did not get what they wanted even though they were offered alternatives. Its quite sad. I actually had many customers go a little crazy on me. Store managers are way to busy to be dealing with coupon problems especially at a pharmacy. Our poor managers are run ragged between these kinds of problems. I definitely empathize with the couponing process as I do it myself, but people need to learn to empathize with the employees of these stores. It is amazing how one person’s remarks or “calling corporate on them” ruins their entire day.

I think Nivea lipcare has $3/2 coupon out RP this week 10/2. If you can get early edition of paper/inserts, then the Nivea deal might be better than it is now

buy 6 lipcare for a total of about $18
      use 3 $3/2 Q
      due $9
      get back $5 ecb
      making $4 for 6 lipcare

I have a CVS Coupon for a free bag of Pampers. If I purchase them today, do you think it will count towards the spend $30 on baby products get 10 ECBs??? I stopped in to buy a gallon of milk this afternoon and the coupon machine printed me a $3 off $15 baby purchase coupon. Thinking I could get a really good deal with the CVS coupons and some manufacturer coupons if the free pack will count towards the $30 requirement…which I’m think it will…do you agree?

      • Hevans0418

Last week I went to CVS to get the $10 ECB when purchasing $25 of baby products.  I had coupons and the total came to $24 after coupons so I had to buy more.
