I’m already scared to tell someone who is just starting out to do four transactions, but this includes all of the free items. You are still allowed 3 more Revlon nail polishes, but I doubt you have more coupons and 2 more Irish Spring Deodorants. You’ve done great though and it’s best to just go home now… If the ECB’s are burning a whole in your pocket use them towards some of the gift card promotion items so that you get some Christmas gifts covered and get a gift card back.

    • I need the universal remote deal bad! My 2 year old keeps hiding our remote!

      • Niddi

The one I got last year only works within 2 feet of the TV, don’t remember the name brand but it’s pretty useless.

    • Penner6906

      awesome ad! thanks for posting

    • Rae

WoW! This list is great!! Anyone know if stores will give out rainchecks?

    • Jennifer Reno

Do they give rain checks on black friday??

      • Last Black Friday, our CVS WOULD NOT give rainchecks. It was pretty much first come, first served. Hope this helps!

        • Teddysmom

My CVS gave rainchecks and substitutions last year on Black Friday.  I did a couple of each.

        • Anonymous

          Ditto

    • Dwilson19

I LOVE CVS!!! I think they are the best when it comes to couponing deals!

    • Nice! I just hope there’s some left Thursday afternoon when I get to go! Last year I went on Thursday morning but this year I’m running a 5K, then obviously eating Thanksgiving dinner. So hoping people will save me some!

    • Towman7

wondering about the phillips norelco razor that the black friday website has on there? it isnt on here.i so want that.and yes i have a great coupon for it.i held on to for a few months.

      • Audry

i have a $30 mf q for the norelco shaver & a $20 target store q (which i printed like 2 mo ago), which makes the $100 shavers $50, hoping they’ll go on sale at target b4 xmas! otherwise, like you, i’ll be using my qs @ cvs!

      • There is a Norelco Tripel Head Rzor for $26.99, no ECB or gift card though.  I was just highlighting the top deals for everyone, sorry to miss the one thing you wanted :(

    • Sarah Nichols

I wish their was a nice Huggies deal.  I have great huggies coupons waiting to be used for our newborn twins.

      • Alissabeth

Should’ve sold you mine…stocked up and they are ALLERGIC!!!

        • Anonymous

This is when you want a “DisLike” button. Sad day!

      • Guest

I know that there is a diaper deal going on right now it may be pampers but i think it is either huggies or pampers jumbo packs. you buy 6 and you get the 7th one free. it doesn’t have to be bought in one day your cvs card keeps track of it.

    • Tristansmommy120910

This may be a silly question but are tooth brushes included in the beauty club? Hope so I got 2 of the $25 ones today sure would be nice to earn the $5 on them. Since I was bummed I couldnt use the 20% coupon on them today since they were a sale item.

    • racecitymom

WOW at the FREE stuff!! Will you be adding a transaction senerio?? I NEED HELP WITH THIS ONE!

      • Surfergirl8989

        Agree! This is overwhelming!

    • Surfergirl8989

I dont understand the Theraflu deal. It says “limit 1 per card” but you have use the coupon $3/2, that means wed have to buy 2 of them. Am I missing something? Thanks so much!!!

      • Erindurkee

You buy one of each (the $1.87 and the $0.99 one). Then you can use the $3/2 coupon. HTH.

        • Surfergirl8989

          Oh ok awesome thanks!

      • BCT

        1 deal per card.

    • Liz

Oh my…..hopefully everyone can limit to 4 transactions LOL.

      • Anonymous

Is it necessary to only do four? I’m sure I can do it, but I don’t mind going to the back of the line for each transaction if I have to. I don’t think it matters how many transactions you do.

        • Liz

no, I was just throwing a number out there…..4 is typically the max for “coupon etiquette” but they may be more leniant….or more strict for these sales.  I guess we’ll see….

    • Alissabeth

WAHOO! Thanksgiving Day here I come!

    • Erindurkee

Jenny (and others)- there is a $1 off Cepacol coupon on their company website. I just googled it and found it. It’s good for any 1 lozenge or spray product! Woohoo! Another money-maker! I’m loving it!

      • Vicki

Thank you so much! I found it, and printed two!!!

    • katzjaspy

The printable for Colgate is either no longer a part of that list of coupons or the link is wrong.  Bummer.

      • Vicki

You can get the Colgate Total coupon ($1) in the Walgreen’s diabetes magazine. It’s free and available at the pharmacy. It’s a manufacturer’s Q so you can use it at CVS.

        • Vicki

There’s also one in the CVS R.I.B. magazine.

    • Erindurkee

The CVS ad that I saw had the Philips Earbuds $6.99, get back $6 ECBs (making them $0.99 and not free). Maybe there are different ads? Or maybe this was a typo?

    • Nicole6296

This is an awesome ad! I know where I’ll be Thanksgiving morning.

    • luda

I have a $7 off of any 2 Benefiber products they were available to print a long time ago.  Since it says on any 2 products, can i buy 2 for $1.49 (1.49+1.49=2.98) and use the rest $4 for other products i will be buying.

      • Vicki

I believe that you can, as long as it doesn’t result in a negative total…

      • Anonymous

Cvs allows overage on most store coupons, but will adjust the value of a manufacture coupon down to the product price. Depends on your cashier but I wouldn’t count on overage from manufacturer coupons. It’s stated in their policy that they don’t give overage. HTH

      • Anonymous

The register will probably beep if the coupon goes over the purchase price. Most of the time, they have to adjust the coupon down. You only get overage if you get ecbs back but you never get it by having coupons that are more than the price.

    • Erindurkee

There is also a coupon for $0.40 off Kleenex Cool Touch that came with the sample (if you got one). ANOTHER money-maker! ;)

    • Reneeonc

As I was opening this one I said, out loud, to my hubby, “I’m not getting anything on Thanksgiving if it’s not free”….ha!  I’ve just checked about 15 things on my shopping list!  Yay!  I’m going before company comes!

    • Erindurkee

The CVS ad I saw also had Excedrin (8 ct.) for $0.99, get back $0.99 ECBs (making it free) AND Advil (10 ct.) $2.99, get back $2.99 ECBs (making it free). I wonder if she forgot these or if the ad I saw was different from her area.

      • The Advil was missed, but the Excedrin is actually good all week and I left it off only because I didn’t want folks waiting to get it and then missing it with them already being sold out.

    • Erindurkee

Just did a little math. There are 12 money makers totaling about $15.00 (in overage). So excited about making some “money.” :)

    • EEEEE! I’m giddy with excitement!  This will be my first year CVSing on Thanksgiving/Black Friday, any advice?  My sis-in-law and I were planning on going Friday (I’ll be out of town Thursday) should I just try to go where I’ll be or is it worth it to go later?  Do they do rainchecks or is that a store to store thing?

      • She Coupons

Go wherever you are at. This stuff will be gone when you get home and you’ll have to get rainchecks and wait :( I’m super excited too!

        • Anonymous

At least you get rainchecks, my store will not issue them for BF deals.

    • BCT

I thought i saw Soft Lips coupons somewhere but I can’t remember where that was.

      • Anonymous

There was one recently, but I believe for the multi-pack, not single… :(

        • kari

actually the coupon does not say multi pack…it just says $2.00 off any two soft lips so you would still get both free!

          • kari

and that’s the one in the CVS Reinventing Beauty Mag

      • Sierra_26

there is but I am not sure what insert it was in but its $1 off of 2 packs so it wouldn’t really help with the deal above since there is a limit of 1.

        • BCT

You are right.  It’s a $1 off two.  SS 10/16.

          • Ana

Also, there is one in the R.I.B magazine for $2 off of 2.

            • BCT

using that one would mean you would still get both free.  I wish i had that one.

            • Vicki

The store should have the RIB magazine that you could buy for .99 and get all of the coupons!

            • BCT

Thanks! Will try and get that one!

            • Ana

Yes, I was at a CVS that had the coupons just sitting there!

            • Jonna_brinkley

My store had the flyer out with all of the rib coupons only.

        • Vicki

The limit refers to the number of items that will give you the ECB – so you can still purchase two, use your coupon and get a $2 ECB. If you get the $2 coupon in the RIB magazine, you will pay $2 out of pocket for both, then get your $2 ECB.

      • Ana

        I thought so too.

    • Jennife

What if I wanted to get almost everything on this list, what is the best senerio besides doing 23 transactions? I dont think anyone would appreciate that:) Please Help!

      • Vicki

What do you mean, 23 transactions? It’s one transaction each time you total and pay, whether that’s one item or 23 items. Does this clear it up?

      • I haven’t tried figuring it out yet, but I’d start with figuring out how many ECB’s you currently have. If you have 0, then perhaps it would be best to do any deals that you have coupons for that yield a + profit, then take the ECB’s you get from those to keep going to get the least OOP spent.

      • Michelle

You shouldn’t have to do that many transactions.  CVS doesn’t make you jump through hoops like Wags does.  You can purchase several things in one transaction and then use all those ECB’s for the next transaction.  You shouldn’t need more than 4-5 transactions, if that.  Just takes alot of planning to get the least out of pocket.  :-)

      • 1bigsaver

I have it broken down into 9 transactions for under $5 OOP starting with no ECB and ending with over $16 ECB.  I am still fine tuning things, but it looks like a pretty awesome plan!!!

    • Cailenebrown

does anyone have a macbook pro? How can u make your ink printer print
coupons in black and white? I can change it when you can preview the
coupon but when you print coupons with that “brick” coupon printer you
do not have the opportunity to chose b/w or grayscale. HELP!

      • Cheryl

I have a macbook pro and haven’t been able to figure that out either.

        • Jonna_brinkley

I dont have a macbook pro, but with any other computer you go to the printer settings in the start menu. Wish I could print coupons from my ipad2

      • Kristin

Try a google search. I have lots of luck solving problems that way.  HTH

      • Anonymous

I think its in your print utility dialog box, in page setup, choose bw and close the window. It should retain the preference when you print from coupons dot com, etc.

    • Cinaka32

I am new to couponing and I have a question.  If I have coupons that will give overage(ex. Theraflu and Benefiber), is it possible to make the first purchase with my coupon items so I don’t have out of pocket and still earn ECBs?  My plan is to make my first purchase the Benefiber (3Q), Theraflu (2Q) , Carmex (30 cents Q), and as well as othere items w/o coupons but earning ECBs .  But, my plan is to only pay a few cents for first purchase.  Then, use the ECBs earned for my next purchase.  Is this possible to just use coupons that give overages for first purchase?

      • Anonymous

CVS adjusts the coupon to the price of the item but even if you get it free, it will still generate ECBs.

      • Jessica Dunn

The othr week when the CVS coupon machine was printing out the free coffee drink coupon they were on sale for $2 if you had a CVS card but the coupon was taking off $2.49 (the reg price of the drink) which was fine the first time I got one cause I purchased other items too. The 2nd time I got one and used the coupon it was the only thing I was purchasing and it still took off the $2.49 so I had to find something else to purchase with it so I didn’t have a negative balance. So, Idk if they do that just on CVS coupons or on manufacturer coupons too. I guess just be ready to throw in a couple of candy bars if needed. HTH

        • Mcleodsc

YMMV-my Cvs cashiers adjust any coupon down to the price of the product-except for one cashier. She enters the full value of the coupon. Apparently she understands that CVS will get the full value plus 8 cents per coupon. I never argue or ask for the full amount even tho technically they are committing coupon fraud by adjusting the coupon down and them getting the full value.

    • Carrie

Thank you so much!  I’ve been waiting specifically for your post of CVS’s deals as I knew you would make it a lot clearer and less confusing to me than other sites I’ve visited.  You make my shopping trips a whole lot easier!  Thank you thank you thank you!

    • Anonymous

I know that the ‘Spend $30.00 Receive $10’ includes items throughout the ad. However, I’m wondering if it will be the same for Black Friday. eg: Can I mix Beauty, Toys and As Seen on TV items and still Recevieve the $10 EB?

      • I doesn’t look like these can be mixed.  Each page states, “qualifying items on this page”.

        • Anonymous

          Thank You

    • Cheryl

Alright…here is my first attempt at making a big scenario. I did not include all of the free items, but I did include the majority of them. First price listed is after Qs and second is the ECBs earned. I know it doesn’t look pretty, but see if you can make sense out of it. Let me know if anyone sees any glaring errors. Also, it is four different transactions. I have never done that many before…anybody had any issues with doing that many transactions? Thanks.

      Transaction #1:
Breathe Right Strips – $3 oop ($5.99 ECB)
      Bayer Asprin – $0 oop
Revlon Nail Polish – $4 oop ($4 ECB)

      • Michelle

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this..SO helpful!

      • Jessica Dunn

Wow! That is pretty awesome/cool! Thanks for doing this. Btw, where do you find the $.40 Q for Kleenex?

        • Anonymous

This most likely came in a sample of the cool touch. I got one in my sample.

          • Cheryl

Yes, I got it from a sample I received in the mail.

    • kellync

Can you use 2 coupons on b1g1free or just 1?

      • Vicki

You can use 2, as long as your B1G1 deal is not a coupon, but rather the store’s price.

    • kellync

Can you use 2 coupons on b1g1free or just 1?

    • kellync

      what is the RIB magazine?

      • Vicki

Reinventing Beauty – it’s a CVS publication for .99. You may have to ask where it is in the store. The current issue has Reese Witherspoon on the cover…

    • Shelly

OMG!!  CVS is off the hook with their deals this year!!  There are so many freebies, I don’t even know where to begin making scenarios!  It’s almost too overwhelming!  :-)  Gonna be alot of planning and so much fun!!!

    • kellync

Another great deal could be the Heidi Klum/ Beyonce perfumes that are B1G1Free and there are $5.00 off coupons on each of them in October All You magazine.  I looked at them the other day and they were 19.99 each so you can get both for 9.99.

      • kellync

        actually its the gift sets

      • Exsquid22

It’s in the November All You  :)

    • Vicki

Just went through the ad and learned a few things:
      1. The Finish Quantum printable has no more coupons to print.
      2. There is a $1 Colgate Total Manufacturer’s Q in the Walgreen’s Diabetes free magazine that you can use at CVS.
      3. There was no Fiber One coupon in my SS
      4. There was no Carmex coupon in my RP
      5. There is a $1 Cepacol Q on the Cepacol website (making it free plus profit)
      6. There is a $2 (on two) Soft Lips coupon in the current CVS Reinventing Beauty Mag so your final price will be free for 2. Without the Q, you will still get one free with the ECBs that print.
      7. The CVS black Friday flyer lists Excedrin Bonus Pack (8 regular tabs + 8 pm tabs) for .99 with a .99 ECB making it free.
      8. The flyer also lists Advil 10 Ct. for $2.99 with a $2.99 ECB making it free.
      9. The Wet ‘n Wild Festive Nail Kit also accidentally has a Planter’s Peanuts listing along with it (above). Take a look, it’s right above the Zantac- you’ll see what I mean.
      Hope this helps!

      • Thanks!  I fixed, added or removed most of the above.

The Excedrin bonus pack I left off because it is actually a deal that is good all week and by Black Friday there probably won’t be any more :(

    • Destiny691966

I sure hope they stock up well for this sale.

    • Mcleodsc

I agree-I hope they stock well. This is just an awesome sale!! Thanks Jenny for getting the list up. I think I just might skip RiteAid and WAGs and just shop CVS. I just cannot believe all the ECB sales items.

    • Papercents

The December All You Magazine index lists the Mars candy coupon as $1 off Mars seasonal product
However, the actual coupon in my magazine actually states $1/2
Don’t know if the store version of the magazine has a different value or not
Anyone have a different value in their December All You magazine?

      • Anonymous

No, my magazine also states $1 but coupon is $1/2.

    • We2ding

Anyone know if CVS is doing the gift card promo they did last year, you buy $100 and they give you 20 extra. I think it was sold through CashStar.

    • Crlundquist

Where do you get the fall beauty magazine??

      • Anonymous

You can get the Reinventing beauty magazine in the front with the newspapers and stuff. You have to pay for it.

    • Melissa Merritt

There was no Colgate coupon for me at the link given (the Wounded Warriors) but I did find a Colgate Total coupon on the CVS site.

    • DTROLEN

there is no $1 off coupon on cvs site for breath right. anyone find it?

      • Vdownes

I printed the breath right coupons a couple of weeks ago. They have probably reached their printing limit.

      • Andrea

I just printed it a couple of minutes ago. I just clicked on the link and then on personal care and it was still there. Try again?

      • Rhornsby

I just printed 1.50 off on her link above

      • Littlerubyslipper

It is there, 1.50.  Look under Personal Care. I just printed it, good luck!

      • Kristyk44

Try using a different zip, that’s what I had to do.  Mine defaulted to a random zip but when I put mine in (23192), it appeared.

    • DTROLEN

can someone tell me how you get the Fall CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine

      • Buy it at your local CVS for 99¢.

      • Mcleodsc

don’t know-my store hasn’t had it in over a year. Someone on another coupon site said she called CVS corp and they mailed her one. You might try calling.

    • Sniperella80

Someone posted on another site where I was viewing the actual ad for CVS that the ECB might be product specific.  Meaning that you can only use them to purchase that specific product again, and not like regular ECB’s according to the fine print in the ad.  Just wondering if this is the case, as these deals wouldn’t be so great then.  Does anyone have any info regarding this??  Is there a way to actually view the ad?

      • Littlerubyslipper

If  anyone can answer this that would be great! It will change how I coupon!

      • Jcislife

        where did you see this?

      • Rettarae

You can view the ad at blackfriday2011dotcom

      • Jcislife

I just called them and the woman said she had not heard anything about that, nor had anyone else she asked (put me on hold for a few minutes).  hopefully that’s just an internet rumor!

      • Lucy

The ad has been posted for a couple weeks along with complete coupon match-ups at a deal site.  Google is your friend.

There is nothing in the ad about using ECBs only on items that produced the ECBs.  The ad shows, “Plus $x.xx extrabucks reward for next purchase” for each item that has an ECB reward and the small print on the bottom of one of the pages in the ad states, “Your ExtrBucks rewards will print as a coupon on your reciept immediately following qualifying purchase.”

      • I just got the actual ad for the SE and linked to it above.  Unlike the previously leaked ads you will notice it looks just like normal.  They are testing a new way of wording items in CA where the other ad was from.  We are good to go as usual in the south!

    • Savannah Loxiong

How is CVS on Thanksgiving morning?  Is there a line of people standing outside waiting for the doors to open?  This will be my first year coupon shopping so I’m pretty excited, but have no idea what to expect!

      • Mcleodsc

there was a line last year and a rush to gather up the sales items before they ran out. A couple of items they NEVER even got in for the sale. This year I am going in on Wednesday  and take a look at where certain items are stashed. This store is notorious for stashing items in unrelated aisles-LOL!  Last week I found the Baby Lips above the Olay facial products!! If you can get a shopping partner to help you gather your items it will save you alot of time. Last year my hubby and grandson took half of my list and a cart and gathered for me.

      • Anonymous

I went last year on Thanksgiving. We didn’t go right when the store opened, but it wasn’t too crowded. However, we went to the store that we usually go to first and they were sold out of a few items, so we went to a different one that was about 2 miles away. It wasn’t crowded at all and they let me do several transactions. If you live in a place where there are multiple CVSs, I would suggest going to the one in the richer/nicer part of town where there might not be as many couponers.

        • CVS Lady

Where I live it’s the opposite — folks with more money are the ones couponing.  The CVS in the poor part of town is always very well stocked.

          • Mcleodsc

It is the opposite here too.

      • I’ve gone the last few years at midnight and had the store to myself :)

    • johnstka

Isn’t there a rebate for the Bayer Advanced Asprin?

      • There is, but based on the wording I doubt highly you would get anything back from submitting it.

    • jennaj81

I just figured up that if I get everything I want, it will be $141 after coupons, and I will get back $133.33 in ECBs!!! I know that it would be best to break it up into 4-5 transactions, but I was thinking that might be kinda frustrating since there will be sooooo many people shopping that day. I know it will be more out of pocket, but I’m considering only 2.  Anyway, I’m excited to get nearly $161 worth of useful stuff for only around $8 + tax!!!

      • Anonymous

Last year, my mom and I went on Thanksgiving day (Normally I wouldn’t do that, but if they’re open anyway…) and it really wasn’t crowded at all. I think I ended up doing 3-4 transactions, and it wasn’t a big deal.

      • Anonymous

I’m planning to do 2-3 transactions, mostly because I don’t need $100 ECBs!

    • Tabithailges

Just out of curiousity, has anyone seen anything of toysrus’ black friday ad?

      • BamaGirl43

yes, but I am unable to post the site here.  If you google for it, you will find it.

      • Exsquid22

Yes it’s out.  Just google toys r us 2011 black friday ad    It’s a pretty good ad in my opinion

    • Brittmom84

There is a CVS coupon on their website right now for $1 off Colgate.  This would be great to stack with a Manufacturers coupon and get even more great savings!

      • Stacyannw

if its the coupon i got its not a store coupon its a manufacturers one, just look at it well and make sure its a store coupon :)

        • Brittmom84

The one I just printed off the main CVS page is a store coupon.  Did you get it off the CVS page?

      • Lucy

The coupon on the CVS website is a manufacturer’s coupon.  Although it says “CVS/pharmacy at the top of the coupon, the barcode begins with a “5” and the coupon contains retailer redemption information which definitely means it’s a manufacturer’s coupon.  CVS store coupons have a barcode that begin with a “4”.  You cannot stack the coupon from the CVS website with another manufacturer’s coupon.

        • Guisler

im confused.  i just printed off the breathe right coupons and the bar code does begin with a “4.”  But I do see where it says cannot be combined with another coupon.  So what do I have?  a cvs or manu coupon?

          • Mcleodsc

does it have the manufacturer’s address for the store to send it in for redemption?
            If yes-manufacturer coupon
            If no-store coupon
I corresponded with Revlon awhile back over a coupon that wags was claiming was a manu.-NOPE Revlon said (and put it in writing for me) that the coupon was a store coupon. I was told to always look at the redemption address.

          • Lucy

The Breathe Right coupon that has a bar code beginning with a “4” is a CVS coupon.  And you are correct, the wording on the coupon prohibits the use of that coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon.

        • Guisler

im confused.  i just printed off the breathe right coupons and the bar code does begin with a “4.”  But I do see where it says cannot be combined with another coupon.  So what do I have?  a cvs or manu coupon?

    • Lucy

Jenny, the Breathe Right CVS coupon states “Cannot be combined with any other
coupon.” in the bottom right corner of the coupon.  In your coupon match-up
you’ve combined the coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon.  Isn’t this against the
      terms of the CVS coupon?

    • Anonymous

I really didn’t want to post a random comment to just gush about the ad, but I HAVE to.  This ad is awesome AND many of the things that are freebies/cheap are brands that my household prefers.  I just hope that I am able to find some of this stuff.  It looks like a lot of it will be in random places throughout the store.

    • My best friend Kyle got $34/hour just working on the computer. She have been unemployed for 4 months but last month her check was $8160 just working on the internet for few hours. Read about it Here StrongrichDOTcom

    • jo14moose

Just to be clear – these sales start on Thanksgiving day?  Not black Friday?

      • Yes these start Thanksgiving morning!

    • ME

OK…so this starts at 12:01 on Thursday morning.  How long does this sale last?  Do they do rainchecks for this sale?  I know they will be out of everything.

      • Anonymous

Last year I remember getting a rain check but surprisingly they weren’t out of most things and I went on Friday AM.

    • Mom_4_Him

I haven’t shopped at CVS in Forever, so this will be my chance to get back in the game :-)!!!!!!

    • Leeann

For the gift card purchases…do you have to buy items from the same category?  for example…the toy gift card promo or the beauty gift card promo?  If we can mix, this is great!

      • Anonymous

I think since she grouped them you’d have to buy from the same category.

      • According to the ad it is “items on this page” and each page clearly states that.  It doesn’t look like they can be mixed.

    • Libby

was wondering has anyone bought the net book Cvs sales? It’s going to be on sale soon. I would like to have an extra computer just to print extra good coupons or the kids to play with. Would this work?

      • Moorercoupons

I bought the craig tablet and it works beautifully!

      • Lexcher

last year for Christmas  I bought three and never could get them to go online .I ended up taking them back a week before Christmas .  You can always buy one and try it  but like I said mine never worked and they said a lot had been brought back.

    • NewMommy2

Cvs does not allowe overage. So for the Theraflu and bayer, they will adjust the coupon down to the price of the items, so you’ll have to pay only the tax. Bummer!!!!

      • kp

Actually I asked a clerk in my store (Mauldin) and she said that CVS coupons they will adjust down but manufacturers they will allow the overage to apply to other purchases.  So it may depend on your store.

      • I would purchse the (2) Theraflu’s together and use the $3/2 coupon.  It will make both free and they might reduce it by 14¢ or allow you that in overage.  Then you get back the full ECB value!

    • Jgutierrez

If I buy 75¢ ECB WYB Mars Chocolate Singles Candy, 1.08-2.15 oz, 75¢ Limit 4 would 4 ECB print?

      • wendyc33

no but a 3.00 ecb would print.

    • DianaY19

I’m still trying to learn how to do the scenarios without too much out of pocket.  JENNY, could you (or someone else) come up with a scenario for the free products with the least amount out of pocket?  Thanks so much!

      • I am working on that!  Planning to post it this Thursday night with the rest of the weekly ad.  We still have one more weekend of coupons coming so I’m holding out some deals might get even better!!

    • Sbramlett

How long are these deals good for….only Thursday and Friday? Or can I shop Saturday ? Will they write rainchecks on these items if out of stock?

      • They are good Thursday through Saturday.  The rainchecks will probably be up to your store to decide.  There is no “while supplies last” mentioned next to items, and the ad does have the event code # needed for rain checks to work, so it looks promising!

    • Binapooh

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the Bayer aspirin and L.A. Gel?

      • Bayer Aspirin, has no limit.  The LA Looks is a Limit 1, sorry.

    • Nikki

If your store is not 24 hours when does the sale actually start? Anybody??

      • Many stores are opening at 9 am Thursday.

        • Nikki

Thanks Jenny! We appreciate everything you do!

        • Lucy

The stores are opening at regular times.  Check with your local store to see what time they open.  (Pharmacies are not operating on regular hours.)

    • Kimthornhill

Absolutely love the CVS Black Friday Ad. I just started CVS a few weeks ago and on the Black Friday Ad it says there is $1 coupon in the “Fall CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine”—-Does anyone know where you find this magazine? Thank you.

      • Dee

At your CVS store, I think its a $1

      • Javamama

I live in Alabama and asked about RIB at my local CVS.  The manager said they don’t get them.  I would love to know if that is statewide or just in the Birmingham area.  Hope others will post and tell where they live if their stores DO have the magazine.

        • Phairplu

I am in Valrico Florida and our stores still have plenty of these magazines, they have a great Huggies $3 off coupon, and essence of beauty coupons and lots of others…I think corporate will send to store if you ask?  They are .99

        • Anonymous

I’m in the Anniston/Oxford area–found one of those mags about a year ago in one of our stores, but have not found any since then.  Employees don’t know what I’m talking about when I ask about them.

    • Volunteer Amy

Question – I have a B2G1 coupon for Hershey’s singles.  Will that work with the single B2G1 sale?  Would the candy be FREE?

      • Mathisi

i think you will have to pay for 1

    • AprilF

Love this ad! Have not shopped on Thanksgiving day before but think I will start this year!

just wanted to ad that most of these items make great extras to military care packages! Even if you won’t use the items personally, its well worth picking them up and passing them on to someone who can use them. Plus you get to keep the ECBs  :-)

    • Dowdy_shannon

So if I buy 6 of the revlon nail polish at4.99, I will get an ecb for 24 dollars? Soryy just want to make sure I understand correctly.

      • Michelle

Yes, you will!  Awesome, huh!!  THAT’S why I love CVS over Wags…one transaction, all my ECB’s together.  :-)

        • Yuliyaporter

Yes, that IS  great, just  remember you’ll  get  in  in one chunk :))

      • Anonymous

YES, which means that it might be better to break up your nail polish purchases into different transactions. It’s a lot harder to use a $24 ecb than a couple $12s or $6s.

    • nichole

It says $5 ecb for every $50 in beauty products but last week I actually got a $10 ecb for purchasing $50 in beauty products. Not complaining here…LOL

    • Sheila

I just worked up my trip with 2 transactions. I have 20 ECB from the toothbrush deal this week so I am starting with that. Ending up paying only tax and 44 ECB back.

      • Yuliyaporter

Please, share them with us!!!!   I have $30.00 ECB plus couple of GC  so I should  be  able  to  do  the  same!  Thanks!

        • Michelle

I have worked up 4 transaction scenarios using almost all of the items listed and I am starting with about the same ECB’s you have.  Each of the out of pocket is under a dollar, too!!  I wouldn’t mind sharing them with you if you want.  I don’t want to post a long scenario list here because it’s too long.  So, if anyone is interested, you can email me at mandmplatt(at)sbcglobal(dot)net.

    • mightymousemom

Jenny, have I said “thank you” again this week? If you are ever in Charlotte, NC and need any help with anything let me know.  You are a true domestic goddess :)

    • Coppertopp

Thank you to you and your hard working team. Love this website and all its bargains!

    • Jlklhjhk

Some of the coupons you’ve listed are Target and Walgreens STORE coupons.

    • Anonymous

Jenny, I just have to say I LOVE your format for coupon match ups. There are lots of CVS BF posts out there but yours is so user-friendly. Even if I ever move out of the south, I’ll still use your site!

      • Thanks for the sweet encouragement!

      • Jackie

I agree- I save my family so much money!! I currently live in the North and I still use this wonderful site.  I am very thankful for all you do!!

    • Coxfamily3jds

I am a new CVS couponer and not too sure on how the Free+profit works can someone please explain it to me?  For example the Finish Dishwasher packets will be on sale for $2.99 then you get $2.99 back in ECB.  If you use a $1 off coupon that makes them  Free+ $1 profit….Does the $1 profit add to the ECB print or do you have to get a filler item for the $1

      • SavySaver52

At CVS you don’t need filler items like you do at Walgreens. ECB’s are like CVS currency. With your $1 coupon you would be paying $1.99 for the Finish and then getting $2.99 ECB. That is how it is free plus profit.

        • Anonymous

Great Thanks! Now I understand it.

    • Coxfamily3jds

Also If you buy something and get ECB can you use those on another item offering ECB and get the ECB from that deal?

      • Anonymous

I don’t think that I explained this question above very well….If I have say $5 in ECB and I see an item that is offering ECB if I purchase it.  Can I use the $5 ECB that I already earned in my last visit to purchase that item on my new visit and still receive the ECB from that new purchase?

        • Tate

Yes, you can use ECB to purchase items and receive more ECB. I know lots of people do multiple transactions in order to have the lowest possible balance, However, I only do one transaction. I use what ever ECB I have from the previous week and make my purchases. Then, the ECB I earned go towards the next weeks purchases.

    • cynthia

im new to cvs. can you guys explain to me how the bucks work? can we use them right then an there? or is it like for future visits?

      • You use the “extra bucks” for future visits.

      • Stephanieswalker08

You can use them right then, but on your next purchase.Definitely watch the CVS getting started video on here.

    • cynthia

isn’t it like getting store credit? like paying to get store credit? or no.? please fill me in! :-)

    • Becca

How does the tax work? example if i buy an item for $4.99 and after tax its $5.33 can I use an ECB for the full $5.33 or only the pre-tax amount?

      • r5grant

You can only use your ECB’s for the pre-tax amount; so you’d still have to pay out of pocket for tax.

    • Becca

How does the tax work? example if i buy an item for $4.99 and after tax its $5.33 can I use an ECB for the full $5.33 or only the pre-tax amount?

    • Stephanie

I found a $1.50q on the Breathe Right website. It’s good on any Breathe Right product 10ct. or higher.

    • Justalaina

I wanted to confirm that the sale will start on thanksgiving day at 12:01 am or Friday at 12:01 am?

      • SavySaver52

It depends if your CVS is 24 hrs. Mine is not so my store is not open til 7am on thanksgiving. Just call your store to find out the time. That’s what I did.

    • Heather

      is anyone posting scenarios??

    • Justalaina

Where can you find the Fall CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine?

      • In my store it is right near the makeup as you enter the store.  The current issue has Reese Witherspoon on the cover.

    • Synth Mont

The Getting Starting @ CVS video was very helpful, thank you! However, I am wondering how long your extra bucks last. Is the expiration date within a week or so?

      • Liz

        they last one month

    • Jessi Champion

Here is what I threw together.  I wanted to keep out of pocket costs really low, so it ended up being 5 transactions.  Could probably only do 4 if you spent $10 out of pocket.  Note: my price at the end of each line is the price paid after coupons.  Yours may be a bit different.  Hope it helps!

      • Rea

I am a little confused. If in transaction 5 you use all $19.33 in ebc and get back $3.98 how do you still have $18.35

      • Jessi Champion

Just a mistake, it must have been a holdover from a different scenario! oops!

    • kellync

Does CVS give overages on coupons? Ex. benefiber is 1.49 – 3.00q= -1.51 Will they apply overage to other items?

      • my store used to but now it does not….you can give them a call and ask!!  :O)

      • Anonymous

They don’t give overage from mfr coupons, but they will on many of the store coupons.  YMMV.

        • Michelle

What does YMMV mean???  I see it posted all the time and have no clue what that means!  LOL!

          • Ashleyw81

It means “your mileage may vary”.  Just basically a quick way of saying that rules and policies can be different from store to store.

            • Aslcoupon

My store in Alabama does not adjust coupons down as long as it does not create a negative subtotal.

            • Susanizanurse

This is how my store handles overage too. I always make sure I have enough stuff to absorb the coupon overage.

            • maddin

I once had a negative total and the cashier told me to just grab something else so I grabbed 3 packs of gum at 1.49 each. When I checked the receipt later on I noticed I had a $8/2 coupon scanned for covergirl makeup but he never rung up the item I had 3 on my receipt (instead of 4). My theory is that overage works. I also used overage with the CVS illy coupons which took of $2.49 while the coffee was on sale for $2.

      • heather

no they wont they will adjust it down. best to price match at walmart.

    • kellync

Here is what i’m planning to do a cvs…..hope it helps someone else. I am starting with NO ECBs.
      Trans#1
      benefiber 1.49-3.00q= -1.51

total oop 0.99 (or 4.08 oop if cvs does’t give overages)
      9.82 in ECBs

      trans#2
      breathe right 5.99-1.50q-1.50 store q= 2.99
      finish quantum 2.99-1.00q= 1.99

      Gotta love CVS

      • jhoran

Nice Job! Not sure if this might be for all the other stores, but my CVS says that the warehouses were out of pretty much all the trial size items, so none of the stores were getting any and they were limited to what they have on hand now which was very few. If that’s the case and there’s none,  then it messes up the transactions big time if you’re rolling ebc from one transaction to the next. Also, they’re not even getting in the angel soft tp, since again there’s none at the warehouse and its one of those items they don’t normally carry in store. Its possible that’s the case with the sparkle paper towels too. Bummer!!!!!

    • Surfergirl8989

I know Wal Mart will price match ads so if I took in the ad and price matched the Bayer Advanced Aspirin 20 ct. for $.99 and used the $2 off any Bayer advanced Aspiring product would that work?

      • heather

yes you can, thanx for reminding me i have a ton lol!!

        • Surfergirl8989

Well I hopei t works and they carry that size, going to check tomorrow. If so going to make some cash at Wal-Mart!

    • Allen5577

I curious about the ECB’s with this ad.  The way they are worded is different than usual.  Makes me think that the ECB’s might be particular to buying THAT item again.  Not just regular ECB’s.  I sure hope not though!

      • Check the ad linked above and I think you will see that it is what you are used to.  The first leaked ad was from Southern California and they are marketing a different wording and image on that side of the country.

        • Allen5577

Thank you so much!  I see now. :)

    • Annaforcoupons

The cool touch kleenex had a .40 coupon in with the samples that went out not too long ago as well

    • cynthia

so when you want to do more thna one transaction you just tell the cashier??

      • DianneL

Yes, they are used to having customers go to the back of the line. Do just say that you want to do more than one transaction and that you’ll be happy to step back to let another customer who just wants one or two things go ahead of you. If someone else is right behind you doing lots of deals, you shouldn’t have to get out of line. Have fun!

    • JenneyG

Any pre-managed scenario may not work for the black friday ad because you don’t know what’s going to be available and what’s not. I’m afraid a lot of calculations will be done there at the store.

    • Anonymous

Not sure if this would work, but I just got a .55/1 Gum Crayola Toothbrush in my Parenting Dec/Jan magazine. It has the GUM and Crayola logos so I’m not sure if it means both or either/or.

    • Smith

So is the Theraflu 99cent deal limited? It does not say and I was wondering what the limit was.

    • Berryb80

I was wondering if you can use the ecb to buy gift cards?

      • Guest

ECB cannot be used on giftcards, newspapers, prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco, stamps.

        • Michelle

          or milk.

          • guest

I have purchased Sunday newspapers with ECB before. Maybe I just had a nice cashier?

          • Shannon

I’ve used ECBs on milk before — occasionally you get them for buying milk, so it makes sense that you could use them on milk.

It might be a store to store policy?

        • Elle

          According to the website:

Excludes alcohol, gift cards, lottery, money orders, prescriptions,
postage stamps, pre-paid cards, tobacco products or items reimbursed by a
          governmental program.

    • Lydiana

Why don’t I see some of the items listed here in the black friday scanned ad? such as the colgate toothepaste for $2.87 and and the general mills cereal and benefiber sticks???

    • Sniperella80

Just checking, are these prices good on Thursday during the day or do they not actually start until Black Friday (midnight if you have a 24 hr store or later that day if you don’t)?

      • Janet

They begin on Thursday, thanksgiving day, either when the store opens or at Midnight, if you have a 24hr store.

    • Guest

I am very new with this couponing. I am just starting out and I have coupons from 11/13 only. Can anyone help me with scenario buying at CVS using only 11/13 coupons and still making profit?

    • Louie_32887

Sorry if I sound dense, I’m just trying to grasp the time frame for this Black Friday Ad. So if it’s 24 hrs, does it start Thursday 11/24 at 12am? Or will it start Friday 11/25 at 12am? CVS is at the top of my Black Friday shopping so I hope I can get all the sales I’m going for :) Thank you for posting all the deal scenarios!

    • Janet

FYI- The breathe right strips coupon from the CVS site is a 5 code manufacturer coupon, so it likely won’t work in combination with the newspsper coupon. Still, it’s $1.50 overage, instead of $3 overage. Free money is free money!

      • Spanishtulip

must be more than one floating around, I printed mine a few weeks ago and it starts w/ a 4

      • Rubies20

are you talking about the upc code? mine starts with a 4

      • Stephanie

Mine starts with a 5, but it says CVS Pharmacy and not Manufacturer Q.

    • Judy

Does anyone know if they give Rain Checks for the Black Friday deals?

      • SC couponer

        My store says no.

        • Judy

          Ok, thanks!

      • Mine said yes. :)

    • grannie geek

anyone in zip code 30101? I’m as confused as I can be…  If you like to meet up over a cup of coffee (I’ll buy) and explain a few things I’d really appreciate it.

      • Tate

What are your questions? I am in 30120. Not too far up the road…:)

    • Susanmaharaj2949

This might be a silly question but on black friday would cvs give overages? Meaning if an item is 1.00 and my coupon is for 2.00 would there be $1 over or would cvs bring the coupon value down to the price of the item

      • In my experience, the overage will go toward other items but they will not give cash back.

    • Anonymous

My husband works at a grocery store that is open all holidays except Christmas. He has to work every Sunday. We have made the decision to not shop or do business anywhere on Sundays or Holidays bc we wish all stores would just close on these days and let everyone be at home with their families.  I wish CVS would just run Black Friday like everyone else…guess I will be missing out on lots of freebeis:(

      • Palerthanpink

While I can totally understand why you and your family are opposed to shopping on holidays/Sundays please realize that not everyone celebrates holidays and for some people Sunday’s are not only a family day. For myself, even though I have been with my company for nine years I have yet to be able to be off on a black friday so being able to take advantage of Thanksgiving shopping is a joy and I am thankful that I can take advantage of some of the great deals out there.  Also, since I work Mon-Fri I have no other choice than to do many of my “errands” on Sat. and Sun. I think it’s great that you and your family set standards on what is right for your family but there are two sides on a coin. Just something to consider.

      • Anonymous

I talked to a mgr here at a store in Bham in regards to something else and he said they were well stocked with mdse.  Ask him if it was enough to last the 3 days with those having multiple cards.  So you may still try Friday.  I wish all stores would close on Sundays and Holidays.  Everyone has their opinion and that’s mine.

      • Abspearman

There has always been some drug stores that are open on Thanksgiving–people still have medical issues and need prescriptions.  I remember working at an Eckerd Drugs on Christmas Day in 1988.  We were only 1 of about 3 drug stores open that day.  I also got paid triple time for my hours.

    • guest

I am new at Couponing at CVS. I just want to make sure I can use the  $2 MC coupon on Theraflu since it says it is for Multi-symptom?
Also, I just want to make sure that if I use a coupon like the Theraflu and the product is under the value would CVS use the whole coupon or cut the coupon down to the value of the product? Thank you!

    • Mavis1296

Another transaction scenario from a newbie:  Wish I had more of the coupons, but I still think this is worth the trip.

      Transaction 1:
      Finish quantum 10 ct, 299, 1.00 coupon, ECB 299.
Breath right Nasal Strips 10+2 ct, 5.99, 3.00 coupon, ECB 5.99
      Colgate Toothpaste 5.74 (2), 2.00 coupons, ECB 5.74

      Theraflu 8ct, 1.87, 3/2, ECB 1.87
Theraflu travel, .99, combine with above coupon, ECB .99
      Total = 19.07, 9.00 in coupons, ECB = 19.07
Pay Cashier 10.67 with .6% taxes..  Taxes vary per region, ECB left 19.07

      Transaction 2:
Fiber one Brownies, 399, .40 coupon, ECB 3.99
      Carmax .15 – .35 oz, 1.00, 0.3 coupon, ECB 1.00
CVS Dental Flossers 1.99, no coupon, ECB 3.99

2 Hershey’s King Size Bar, 1.98, no coupon, ECB 1.98
4 Mars Singles, 3.00, no coupons, ECB 3.00
Total 19.63, prior ecb and coupons, 19.77,
Pay Cashier 1,04 with taxes, ECB left 19.63

      Transaction 3:
      Advil PM 4ct, .99, ECB .99
      Advil 10ct, 2.99, ECB 2.99

      Sheets Energy Strips 10ct 3.99, ECB 3.99
      Kleenex Cool 1.5, ECB 1.5
Total due is 20.44, use Transaction 2 ECB 19.63
Pay Cashier, 2.04, ECB left 20.44

      Transaction 4:
      4 Irish Spring Deodorant 11.08, ECB 8
      CVS Batteries 3.99, ECB 3.99
Bayer Advanced Aspirin .99, coupon 1.5, ECB .99
Phillips Universal Remote 6.99, ECB 6.99
Total due is 23.05 – 1.5 coupons and 20.44 ECB from transaction 3
      Pay Cashier 2.49 with taxes

Means all this for free, making 2.15
      SWEET.

    • Lauren

Does anyone have any of the following extra coupons for CVS Black Friday?…. manufacturers Breath Right- $1.50 off, $1.00 off LA looks, .50/1- Listerine pocketpacks, .30/1 carmex lip balm. Will trade others that I have! THANKS! :)

    • Bluangel29

Let me get this right… on Thanksgiving day we can get these deals??? OR do I have to wait til Friday??

      • Mavis1296

I called today and our 24 hr CVS starts their sale at 12:01am on Thursday morning.

    • Dix

The colgate printable seems to be gone.  Any zip code suggestions?  It’s probably just gone, but I thought it was worth a try!

      • Yockey11

There is a CVS coupon for the Colgate Total toothpaste. It’s on the CVS website under Savings Central on the right side as part of a little ad. These might still be out there, since I haven’t seen them listed on most of the couponing web sites. Hope this helps!

        • Jessica

I couldnt find the colgate on CVS website, did anyone else have any luck?

        • Anonymous

          Still there!  THANKS!

      • couponkid

i just found it but it is only good at target! wish they would tell u that! it says target on it now that i priinted it out

    • Haleigh Woolsey

Is the “LIMIT 1” just a limit one per transaction, or per customer/extra care card?

      • Elle

        per card

    • Kelseyk112

      Toilet paper and the tower!

    • About the bayer advanced deal for .99cents. I have a few coupons for $1 off any bayer asprin product, would I be able to use that on the “advanced” asprin?

      • Yockey11

I was thinking the same thing. I’m going to bring them. Looking at the UPC on the coupon compared to the code on the Bayer Advanced coupons, I think it will work. The UPC on the Bayer product coupon appears to be for the whole Bayer family of aspirin, which includes the Advanced.

      • Garza389

I think it will work. will the $1.50 work for the .99? will you get the overage?

      • coupcid

well there is also a link up there for $1.50 off of bayer advanced, and yes you can also look at the barcode if the first five digits are the same then it will go through on the cash register!

    • minnie

i live in tenn, oak ridge does anyone know when we can go to the store to get these deals do i have to wait till friday

      minnie

    • CJ_Mom

My husband actually sat down and planned this one out.  By his totals, we will do three transactions and our OOP will be 1.90 on a product total of 57.08.  In addition, we will walk out with 21.96 in ECBs.  Considering we don’t have access to all the various coupons out there and we just get the one Sunday paper a week, I am really happy and excited.  Depending how busy the store is on Thursday morning, I may try to parlay some of those ECBs in Christmas presents on some of the other ECB freebies.

      • scrn09

do you have a breakdown of this?! are you starting with any ECB from last week?

    • Abspearman

For the gift card transactions, do they give you credit for the $30 spent if you are 2 cents off?  Most of the items are priced at $XX.99 and could be an issue.

      • Anonymous

        yes they usually round up.

    • Yockey11

I just left CVS. For those of you that haven’t been able to get the Breathe Right coupon, they had samples of Breathe Right advanced tucked in front of the boxes with a $1.50 off coupon in it.

    • Anonymous

My plan is to do 2 transactions. The first will be the free stuff that are things we use and a few other ECB deals (the M&Ms are a great price!), which should bring me to $52.83 in ECB if I am able to get everything. Then I will be using those ECB to buy the Philips toothbrush and stock up on B1G1 nylons.  I don’t have the patience to do more than 2 transactions, and hate when they get messed up by things not being stocked or already cleared, so I just put a few more expensive items in the second transactions and the majority in the first. And I make sure to bring scissors with me!

    • MB

I went to my CVS today and asked for the “reinventing beauty” coupon book and they had no clue what I was referring to.  Was that something that came out awhile ago or should it still be available?  Also – I signed my extracare account up for e-mails and never got the coupon?  Is there something I am missing?

      • AWC

some stores have them and others don’t…they didn’t have them at my normal store, but I asked if she could look and see if any other local stores had them, she looked it up in the system and was able to tell me the closest store which had them in

      • Tndiamondjess

I have noticed some stores have the mag and know all about it and some don’t. You should ask an employee to call other stores in the area and find it for you. Or call 1-800-SHOP-CVS and let them know your store didn’t know what you were referring to.

I just signed my mom up for an extra care card online. Once  you are logged in there will be a red square advertisement about $4/$20 when you sign up for emails. Click on that and follow the steps and it will send you an email pretty quickly.

    • Jan

Thanks for the Great Black Friday ad matchups!!

    • Shannon

Cepacol coupon is working again–I just printed one!

    • mari

I didn’t see the earbuds in the black friday ad scan?

    • Stevi Lucas

If I buy two colgates in one transaction will it print 2 extra care bucks or do i need to purchase them in two different transactions?

      • Amy

You can purchase them in one transaction since it says limit 2, and it will print the ECBs for both. $2.87 x 2.

    • Kimberly

I just called my local pharmacy to see what thier hours are for Black Friday –  the girl told me then hung up on me!!!  LOL  It’s gonna be a fun weekend! ;)

      • Beepampered

So what did she say? The ad implies that all CVS’ are open on Thanksgiving. Could I assume that it will open “regular” time if it’s not a 24 hour store? (Going to be traveling and in a new town and none are open 24 hours.)

    • Beth

Question about using $5 off $25 purchase.  I have coupons for some of the items that would equal $25.  Is it $25 BEFORE the coupons? or AFTER coupons?

      • Laura

Last time I had my coupon sent to my card and it came off before coupons

        • Beth

Thanks!  So what is the difference between sending a coupon to your card versus printing it out?  If I hand them the $5 off $25 coupon before I hand them the other coupons, would that be the same thing?  Is it just the convenience of not having an extra piece of paper to keep up with?

          • Anonymous

Yes, it is just the convenience.  If you send it to your card, log into your account and make sure it is listed under your Extra Care account (a friend’s did not save).  Also, it will print from the magic coupon machine a listing of your $5/25 coupon (or what coupons you have saved to your card).

            • Michelle

I would print them out versus sending them to your card.  The reason being that most stores will take expired CVS rewards/coupons for a short time after the expiration date.  If you send them to your card, they drop off after the expiration date and you can’t use it.  But, if you print it out, you still have it in hand.  Just a thought…

            • Jenlsanz2

ooh, good tip. I wouldn’t have thought of the expiration date. :)

            • maddin

Personally I don’t print or send them to the card until ‘m ready to use them. I use my iPhone to send them to the card while I’m standing in line.

        • Anonymous

Did you have to ask them to press the total button or did it come off automatically when you reached $25?  I want to make multiple transactions and would like my OOP like than $25 after coupons.

    • Southside28704

uh oh breathe rght nasal strips cvs coupon expires today….not good……

      • Brenda

The one I printed doesn’t expire until Dec. 3rd

      • Sherri711

        Mine expires 12/23

      • try to print another one if you can, it would change the exp date.

      • Elena

I printed mine yesterday and it says it expires 12/20!

    • Hi guys, just wanted to let you know the Finish Quantum $1 off coupon is still printing for those that are interested. You just have to go straight to their website and sign up. HTH!!!

      • Mel

I also found a Try Me Free rebate in the 11/20 SS.

    • guest

FYI on some of the 24 hour stores..some of the stores in the greenville and simpsonville that are 24 hours are posting signs that says the sale won’t start until 6am.  So you might want to double check if you plan on going to a 24 hr store for the sales.

    • What time is anyone going to cvs in on black Friday???

SALES already activated this evening at my CVS. Finished shopping-store had all but one item on my list. Call your stores and ask when the sales activate or just scan something that you know is on sale at the red machine to see if the sales are activated.

    • Lisakathleen

The CVS in Newport News, VA has not activated it but will be activated at midnight!!! One less store to fight Friday morning!!!

SOOOOOO CONFUSED!  people have been posting on here and on facebook that they have already gotten the deals or their stores are starting tonight at midnight.  i asked TWICE at my cvs and was told that the black friday ad would not start there until friday at 8 am (their normal store hours) so i am not sure what to do or think!!!!!!! so frustrating.  (thank you for letting me vent.)

      • Doodles_ga

If you go to a 24 hour CVS they are doing the deals. I ve already been there and checked out.

      • Couponjulie201

The ad states it’s for TODAY, tomorrow and Saturday. Not sure why a store wouldn’t have the sales until Friday, unless they are closed today?

    • Lwisdom101

cvs in Greenville sc will not start until 6am. Just left the store.

    • Doodles_ga

So stinking excited! I was the first one in the store and was in my car at 12:05. Thank you Southern Savers!!

I’m confused about something. On the Black Friday “Free Items” it says “extrabucks offer limit of 1 per household with card”. So does that mean eve if I have multiple coupons for like items and split them up in separate transactions, I can only get the ECB once on the same card? I have 4 Finish Quantum coupons and had planned on getting 4 Finish Quantums in 4 different transactions with other “free” items. Will that work?

      • Firstbrownie

Unfortunately, no you won’t be able to get four and receive the ECB back every time; the limit stated is per card for the entire sale. However, these are some great deals, so take advantage of them, even if it is only “one”! Have fun!

cvs in summerville, sc sales start 8:00 a.m. regular time Thanksgiving

Went to CVS at 5 a.m. (it’s a 24 hour one)…and there was no one there…except for, of course, the group of young men (20something) standing at the entrance who were either drunk or high…anyway.  The store only had about half of the ECBs marked, so it was a scavenger hunt…and they only had about half of the items in stock, telling me they never received the stock for the sale…so I may travel to another later…Anyway, my question is–has anyone else ever had their cashiers key in their ECB amounts…and get it wrong?  This is the 2nd time it’s happened to me, and the 2nd time I’ve not noticed til I got home…they’ve just juxtaposed the numbers so I lose twenty cents or so each time, but it’s sort of annoying…

FYI…Lexington, SC CVS out of the following products by 1130 last night: Both theraflus, GUM toothbrushes, hairdryers, benefiber sticks, advil pm, festive flirt nail kit,
ichill shots,  becool gel sheets, soft lips, crock pots, sheets energy strips. Thanks in part to a few ladies getting multiple, scratch that, numerous orders. One lady took 52 minutes to check out, had eight baskets all with the same merchandise in each basket. I was able to get a few of the deals, mostly christmas stuff.

I love my CVS! They put a lot of the free with ECB items and loaded them on to a display just near the front of the store. It made my shopping so easy! They were amazing about my expired ECBs too. I actually got every item on my list. Original value was $160, with ECBs I made a $10 profit. Because they took my expired ECBs from a few weeks ago, my out of pocket was less than $1. It only took three transactions. What a way to start the holiday! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

    • Eske859997

Very excited I got mostly everything I needed and now have $65 ECB great deals with everything free!

    • Jennifer

My CVS had everything on my list this morning! Total purchased $183.11–Total spent$24.62. Not under $5 like some but I am happy with that! Thanks Jenny for all you do and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family!!

I just want to give kudos to the Cayce, SC CVS.  They had most of the “freebies” on a display right at the front of the store and when they opened at 8am there were about 6 or 7 of us couponers waiting for them to open the doors.  Everyone was so nice, helping each other find everything and giving helpful hints to those who were fairly new at couponing.  It was really a heartwarming way to start my Thanksgiving day!  Thanks CVS!

      Cvs rocks!

question: if i buy (2) of the iTower Stereo Systems, will they give me (2) $10 gifts cards or just 1???

    • Jessi Champion

We went out to the Emerald Isle CVS today (Thanksgiving) at 8am before cooking started.  We were the only people there for about 20 minutes, enough to get all the really good stuff before anyone else got there.  Of course, we were hunting with no sales tags and then management stocked the up front display with all the free stuff.  D’oh!  They didn’t have one of the theraflu’s so the deal there didn’t work and messed up all of my scenarios.  They were super nice though.  More men out today that I’ve ever seen before couponing.

One jerk though…he had 4 CVS cards and stood there in line and did all of his transactions for all 4 cards, without offering to stop for a second for the poor people who were just dashing in for 1 item.  We did a transaction then moved to the back of the line to keep it moving and give us time to regroup.  They were very nice, helpful, and it was a great experience.  First time I’ve seen CVS busier than walgreens too!

So the Ad says Snuggies for 2/$10. Will these ring up at $5 or do you HAVE to buy 2 to get them at $5 each??

    • momoffive

Do they give rain checks on black friday?

      • Anonymous

I asked on Thursday and they said no.

    • Joanna

Has anyone tried to buy any of the “free” deals today? I wondered if there are any left…

      • bootsiegirl

I am going tonite so I hope there are deals left.  If not….  get a raincheck.

Does anyone know if I buy the $29.99 rocking horse, will that qualify to get the $10 gift card (suppose to have a purchase of $30)?

      • Anonymous

I went today around noon and there were actually quite a few items left. I went Thursday night to the little CVS by my house and they only had about half of the items I wanted. I went to a bigger one today and got 6 more items I missed out on. While I was shopping I noticed several other items still in stock.

    • Anna

Actually just went and got several things off the Black Friday sale… couldn’t believe the toothpaste was still in stock!  Also have to give a shout out to CVS, my store made a policy change recently that I didn’t know about.  I ended up having to make a big return, which I hate doing.  While one cashier was obviously frustrated with me, the manager was completely kind and helpful, and did the return with no complaints.  I love CVS and the customer friendly attitude!!

    • I racked up on the Black Friday deals at CVS! Yeah Baby!
