CVS quarterly Extra Care Bucks are now printing! This is a great way to save extra money while shopping at CVS. Just scan your ECB card at the red coupon machine to print your quarterly rewards (or they will print when you check out).

The ECBs are 2% of the savings you’ve earned and $1 for every (2) prescriptions you had filled.

If you want to go in prepared to shop, check out all of the current CVS deals.

If none of these acronyms make any sense, learn how to get started shopping at CVS.

so can this be the $10 ebc i just got?? hum! not bad is this for any products we buy at the store of prescriptions only?

      • BCT

Both but you get $1 for every two prescriptions I believe.

    • Melissa

Mine printed yesterday when I was in there getting some birthday cards.  We get our families scripts there, plus giftcards for our work when needed.  So we were pleased with $11.

    • DianneL

This is never a very exciting deal for me since it’s based on money actually spent after coupons. My EBC was only $1.50. Actually, I’m not complaining here. Just a time for reflection of how good I did to spend so little out of pocket! I love my CVS!

      • Guest

Mine was only $1.50 too…..YEAH!!!! I got a TON of stuff this quarter.

      • Anne

No kidding!!!  After saving over $2068.00 in 2011, I don’t feel I have the right to complain!  Good grief,  I ‘m usually extremely happy walking out of CVS, because I usually spend nothing or next to nothing when I walk outta there, and that is the ECB’s I received!!  Nothing!!!  My fall spending was $8.56.  :)

    • Kristy

I got mine yesterday- was going to hold onto them for awhile but the lady at CVS used them on my order without asking. Ugh. Oh well.

    • Arvinamy

Another neat thing is that if you log into your CVS ExtraCare account online, you can choose to have the ECB’s sent directly to your card.  Then, the cashier asks you if you want to use them when you check out.  Cool!

    • Got a pleasant surprise.  Got $8.00 back plus $5.00 from my Beauty Club membership.  Not bad since I just started in April.

      (actually kinda scary … lol)

    • Kcreviews

I got $5 from the red box on Sunday!

    • Rose

i scanned my card at the red box on monday and only got 0.50!!! and when my husband scanned his card he recieved 7.50 i was so jealous but it all worked out cuz he let me have his ecb!

      • Guest

You are only suppose to have one card per household….unless your husband does not live with you.LOL

        • Suzy Payne

OOOOOOHHHHHH.  I will tell my hubby that he should eat his card!  Or move out….  heehhee.  Just kidding ya!

        • Anonymous

I think that rule is kind of silly. I mean, I understand husband and wife, perhaps makes more sense. But if, for example, it’s a father and a daughter (and the daughter can drive), I’m sure they often are going to CVS to pick things up as individuals and not as a household.

    • Nandyshy

I got 3.50 plus 5 from beauty club so happy I”m glad I didnt get that much because that means I didnt spend that much and I save a lot with little out of my packet its a great start of a new year

    • Cindy

With ECB and coupons from Sundays inserts as well as some coupons I was holding on to, I got 45.28 worth of stuff for 18.25. I was one happy shopper.

    • Suzy Payne

I guess I should get my prescriptions there.  I got 50 cents in ECB.

    • Cl3v3rgirl33

Can someone tell me if CVS offers a short list of prescriptions for $4 like Publix, Wal-Mart and even Freds?

      • Nonnie Mouse

Cut price generics (the $4 prescriptions) have been sponsored by large pharmaceutical companies, government, and others. So they should be available anywhere.

The best way to find out is call the pharmacy.

Is it possible… nothing for me?! I’ve spent close to nothing at cvs??

    • Lilsouthern

I think the less you get the better

    • Candaceandjosh628

I have gotten 1 script filled every month at CVS for over 2 years, and I have yet to get any ECBs back. Is there something I need to sign up for? I scan my CVS card every time, but still nothing.

        same here!

    • Amy Winberry

The more that you spend at CVS the more coupons you will get. You will notice after a big trip that you will get a lot of coupons. Don’t spend anything there for a while what you will see very little in kiosk coupons

      • Anonymous

That is true!!  I lost my card( I KNOW THE SHAME) and have not been able to scan at the kiosk.  I found the smaller version and was able to after about 3 weeks of no scans and I only got two coupons.  I was disappointed with that…BUT I was extremely happy with my quarterly ECBs…$7…not too shabby!

    • Anonymous

dont know about anyone else but i was not happy with quarterly rewards

    • Familycouponsfor6

I only got .50 ecb’s back, but THEY HAD CROCK POTS, NORMAL RETAIL PRICE: $29.99 ON SALE FOR $5.00!!!!  I GOT 3…SAVINGS OF $74.97 SCORE :)

    • randa

My Extra care account showed that I had a $5 and a $4.50 rewards available to print.  I didn’t print them out yet.  Today when I went back to my account, the $5 one has dissapeared and it was far away from it’s expiration.  I am hoping it will magically appear to print at the keyosk.

This is the first time I’ve ever received these ExtraBucks.  I visit CVS at least 2-3 times a month and ALWAYS scan my card..it has never added any ExtraBucks (from previous quarters)…?  I emailed CVS 3 days ago to ask how to get the Fall Savings Bucks…they responded and advised I could scan my card or have them loaded on line.  Ok…now…I had $74.23 of Fall Savings according to my online accunt…but I only had $1.00 to add to my card.  ??  Clearly that isn’t 2%.  Do they round down to the nearest whole dollar?  What gives?

      • Tinab158

Ok, another response from CVS…”The $74.23 are your points shown on the bottom of your receipt…At the end of the quarter, you are issued 2% or .50 cents for every $25.00 you spend on qualifying front store purchases.”

I wasn’t aware of the “OR” regarding the ExtraBucks…was anyone else?  I missed this part of the policy somewhere, but maybe they should promote it as “.50 cents for every $25.00” rather than 2% of your qualifying purchases.  Just sayin’………

    • Tiya

Just to let people know, it states that if you have a State or government funded insurance, these do not count. So supposedly if you have Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, or State insurance you should not receive ECBs. But after saying that I pick up my g’ma’s prescriptions and received credit for those and she has Medicare.

    • Ncole259

i surely wasn’t happy, i only got $1 and had hundreds of dollars showing on my CVS cards for prescriptions because i have small children so we spend a lot a CVS :(

    • Tinab158

I just had a telephone call from CVS Customer Service…they advised the ExtraBucks are calculated at the rate of 2% on the qualifying purchases….BUT…are paid at the rate of .50 cents for every $25.00 incriment.

      So…
      $74.23 equals $1.00 in ExtraBucks.
$44.23 equals .50 cents in Extrabucks.
      $24.23 equals no ExtraBucks.

It’s not exactly 2% as they say…rather it’s .50 cents for every $25.00 you earn.  Eh, it’s better than a kick in the butt….but it is a little deceiving.

    • Jmeatball

My husband and i use the same card so they add up together,Now heres a trick if you go to cvs extrabucks on line you can set up your printer to print as many as you want .i print out about 10-15 extra bucks coupons at about $3.50 worth you can only use one bucks coupon at a time i go to several cvs and purchase $3.50 worth and get it for free, use manufacturers coupons along with sales to save even more. After a couple of days i go back to the same cvs and use another bucks coupon

      • Angel823

That i believe is illegal just like copy coupon, you are using the same extra buck…shame on you

      • Tinab158

I’m not sure that’s the road I’d take to get a couple dollars off my purchase.

      • Products81

Im sure you arent even using a real address either, cause you know that they would eventually caught up to you,and closing your account, i wonder how many times they have closed your muti fake accounts and coupons just alone mentioning $52 in fake coupons, who knows how many times you have done this already, well im sure if you continue doing this eventually if you fraud them out of hundreds they will find you ( ever heard of IP address, all of your Tricks are already been saved under your IP address..)This is the reason, real honest couponer get looked at like criminals, because people that do what you do!! as one said before shame on you, i hope they find you and sue you for all the money you stole, yes, its stealing, fraud, makes me sick, and what is said about it is your proud of it, i think my stomach is sick now..

    • Dawn

I got $6 in ECB!! Woohoo… working on my plan to stretch this out as far as possible :)

      • Dawn

Oh, I went online w/CVS & had the $6 ECB added to my card.
