Is there any other link for the Swimmers coupon? That one doesn't seem to be working. When I clicked on the coupon on the huggies site it said error. There is a CRT printing for 2.00 off swimmers so they would be a .50 each.

      • Melissa

Sorry read that wrong they would be 2.99 each

    • Brooke

Another pretty slooowww week for me :( :)

      • Glosmommy

I agree. Where are all the back to school deals???

    • Joyfulcreations2

YAY! YIPEE! I have been holding on to my huggies rewards Q for free swim diapers until there was an ECB deal that made it work for me! Finally, here it is! Two packs for $3.99!

    • meme

I thank you so much for posting these ads early. I sure wish we could get BI-LO and Pulix a day earlier. I usually take all day long on Wednesday to get my coupons and list together (really work hard so that I take as much confusion out of the process once in the store).By the time I have it all together I am too tired to shop on Wednesday. That is senior day and we save at least $10 on our bill. Sure wish we could back it up one day for getting the ads out. Love this site, Jenny, and all the help you give us.

      • Hey there! – I would love to also give you these early, but both of these stores actually view their ad as proprietary information and do not want it posted any earlier than I already have it up (Publix really doesn't want it up until midnight but we fudge a little). They send very mean letters and lawyers so for me I'm not risking my house or Southern Savers to get them out.

        Sorry.

        • Livn4change

What about Rite Aid…I would love to get Rite Aid match-ups earlier like we get the CVS ones.

          • guest

Just an FYI…I Heart publix .com puts the publix ad up on monday!!

          • Jessdare101

You can go to http://www.iheartriteaid.com and view the weekly ads early. Sorry no matchups though.

        • Kim

That is so crazy that they are that strict-you do a most amazing job! Thanks for all of your hard work. I have always been such a skeptic(sp?) but have been doing this for 10 months and save an average of $60/week-my husband is thrilled-this includes all adult beverages and household/beauty items so really save more. I also am able to save and I cook very healthy-fresh spinach, tons of produce-sundried tom. etc. I am truly amazed and tell all my family and friends about it constantly!!

      • kaseyshadow

I heart publix has a sneak peak up on Monday/tuesday but not all of the deals are in every location. Jenny, I sure wouldn't want you to loose the house helping us. Thanks for all you do.

    • Jane

I know this question has been asked a billion times, but for some reason I can't remember. Where do you get the reinventing beauty magazine?

      • They are only sold at CVS. Some stores do not carry them- if your store does, it will be by your newspapers, by the registers, or by the magazines in the back! HTH!

      • Smaples23173

Mine were in the make-up section. ;)

      • Kathleen

Sometimes they have the coupon inserts available w/o having to buy the magazine. They are usually in a separate display stand near the front door/newspaper stand.

    • ScottK

I got a $5 off $25 coupon in my email a few minutes ago. Gonna have a time getting there, but it'll work.

      • TraceyGA

        I got a $5 off $40. I don't think I'll be using that one. lol

        • Punkindoodl

I got a $5 off $40 too, but I don't ever spend that much at CVS. So I don't think I'll be using mine either…plus it expires on 7/25.

        • Bryarsmom

I'd LOVE to work one of these deals-gets easier with time. I did a $5/30 I got from recyclebank last week and paid about .33 cents OOP.
Raincks from previous weeks can be used working these $/$ deals too to get your totals up easier.

        • Allie

I got the $5/$40 as well. I am getting the big box of Pampers though and with the other stuff this week I had planned to get it will push me to JUST over $40 before coupons/ecbs. I will be paying a bit more out at first than if I broke it down into 2 transactions, but I get all but $.01 back on ECBs with my scenario so I'm ok with that :)

          • Val

Would you mine posting your scenario? I have a 5/40 and want to get pampers as well. I keep scratching my head trying to figure out the best way to do this.

    • karen

While I have never used Arm & Hammer laundry detergent, I found 1.50/1 Q's at Dollar General yesterday. I picked them up to use at Food Lion this week (b1G1). I would rather use them at CVS and get some “play money” back!

      • Smaples23173

I just recently started using Arm & Hammer deter. and I love it! I find it comparable to Tide and Gain & at a fraction of the cost. I did the deal at Winn Dixie and will do it twice at CVS making for cheap to free laundry detergent!

        • brooke_b

Before I started “CVSing” or couponing at all – Arm & Hammer Detergent was the only detergent I would buy. I actually preferred it to the more expensive brands. I think it is better quality for fighting stains, my family loves the smell and it didn’t hurt at all that it was a lot cheaper! ;) Now ofcourse, I buy what is the better deal and on sale. If you haven’t used Arm & Hammer’s detergent before you should try it!

      • Candace

I love Arm & Hammer detergent! It will be worth your couponing! However, if you ever can get Sun detergent on sale, even if it’s free, stay away! It’s terrible.

    • Laura

There is also a $2 off Aveeno Suncare here http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=zfmredo2219744&bt=vi&o=63719&c=JJ&p=9sby1o8E. I love this sunscreen for my kids, so perfect timing for our beach trip as well!!

      • jenny

Thanks for the link!! Got 'em!! :o)

    • Livn4change

make sure to scan your card before you shop. I went to CVS yesterday and got a $2 off Huggies Little Swimmers.

    • Audreylane

What does the -$4 off Diapers and Wipes, any printing on CVS receipts (store coupon) mean? Will it automatically come off my bill when I pay or something?

      • Suemh

No. It means that some people are receiving these coupons on the bottom of their receipts when they make prior purchases. It is the “luck of the draw”.

      • Amy

Jenny rec'd a coupon on her CVS receipt to use on a future purchase!

      • Smaples23173

Mine printed at the Kiosk for $4.50 off.

    • Katehuber

Can any one tell me what zip code to use for the Marvel or Disney vitamins.

      Thanks

    • Jennylovessummertime

I am wondering how to get the 4 off 20 Q. I got one when I first signed up, but never since….???

      • Michelle J

I've never tried it but I've heard others say that if you go to the website, remove your CVS card number from your account and re-add it, the coupon will be available. HTH!

        • sonyapell

          didn't work for me. :(

      • jenny

do they have your email address?? I get an email from CVS every week and there is usually a 4 off 20 or 5 off 25 coupon in there. I got an email from them today for 5 off 25, which I'll use for the diaper deal

    • Sean

There is a coupon for -$2.50 off Tena Ultra Thins here:

      http://www.tena.us/Documents/84_Region_North_America/USA%20-%20English/Documents/retail/SCA_10021_TUTcoupon_v2.pdf

Buy 2, use 2 coupons, and submit the full price rebate in the 6/6/10 SS for a $5 MM.

    • nancyatl

There are no more Tylenol or Degree prints available :(

      • Angela

        Hi nancyatl,
There was a tear pad for the tylenol product laying on top of the product on the shelf at my CVS yesterday. I didn't see it at first (kind of hard to see since it was flat) but you might check your store as well next time you are there. It was specific for the item on sale though- not any tylenol product. hth

    • Kb

you would think stores would WANT you to post early……it gives us a better heads up, it's a win win, oh well.

    • Darlene

On senerio #1 you are using 2 coupons on 1 kotex item. Does CVS allow you to use two coupons?

      • Jennifer

Yes only because one is a CVS store coupon and the other is a manuf. coupon. You can combine them :)

      • Natalie559

1 coupon is manufacturer the other is store. CVS will allow you to use 1 man and 1 store per item.

      • awbrown3

You can use two coupons on the same item if one is a manufacturer's coupon and one is a store coupon.

    • Ebunnie63

went into cvs, last sat. the ending day of that weeks sales, i did the fusion razor deal, get 5.00 back, then on wed., this week's sales, different flyer, and tried to do the fusion razor deal, which in the flyer has it on sale again this week, the register didn't give the 5.00 back. so i had the kid call manager, the guy said that because i didn't get5.00 back cuz the deal last week i already got and i can never do it again, it's a deal they have with gillette. and it's a one time thing. i think it's a load of bull!!! for the past 2 months i've been getting my ecd back on the gillette body wash, note* i have so much body wash, never want to see it again!!! lol, anyone kno y the ecd didn't print? it was my first trip to cvs this week, haven't bought anything on card for the start of this weeks sales???

      • April

This deal has been going on since the beginning of July. Maybe it was a month long thing and you could only do it once?

        • Ebunnie63

month long deals are in the weekly flyers?? one would figure that if a sale is in a weekly flyer it would last from flyer dates?? 2 different flyers would mean 2 different sales??

      • tarabj

Whenever you go to CVS, check the bottom of your receipt. If it states that the deal is completed, then you will not get ECB again for buying the same thing.

      • ash

hey i think the fusions were weekly deals because i asked about it at my store before doing it again and the cashier told me that it should work and he would try it for me and it did work, so i've gotten 3 or 4 of those for something like 97 cents after my coupons and after subtracting the ecb's.

        • Ebunnie63

that's what i figured.. makes sense.. if in weekly add, then next weekly add comes out, same thing.. don't know what happened, the manager seemed to be looking at straws.. lol, who knows.. life goes on..

      • Leah L.

I bet that since you purchased the first one on Saturday that they had already loaded the deals for the next week in the computer, so the computer thought it was already next week when you bought the first one. If you go on Saturday evening you can go ahead and buy the stuff that goes on sale the next day…I do it most every week so that they're not out of all the good stuff when I want it. HTH.

      • Jimmyjohns

I would call corporate, sounds like bs

    • Sara

      Hey Friends!

I just wanted to make sure I was doing this right. Can I use the coupon from reinventing magazine and a manuf. coupon? Thanks!

      • awbrown3

Yes. CVS let's you stack manufacturer and store coupons.

      • Wmllewis

Just make sure that the coupon out of the Reinventing Beauty magazine is indeed a store coupon. Some of them are manufacturer's q's, so you wouldn't be able to stack those. :)

    • Guest

How much is the reinventing beauty mag?

      • Shirley

        $.99

    • nancy

Couldn't find the Tropicana coup. Any suggestions?

      • Anonymous

I think there is still valid one until sometimes August for either .50/1 or $1/2 in RP 6/6/10 (I believe). However, this was probably regional, and many of you in south did not get it

    • Mary Ellen

I went to CVS yesterday and wanted to report a GREAT deal: In the clearance section, my CVS was selling a combination package of Energizer batteries which included 2 AA Ultimate Lithium batteries, 2 AA Lithium batteries, and 4 AA “regular” battries. Regularly priced at $15.99…. they were on clearance for $5 each…. plus I had coupons for $1 off any Energizer batteries… The ultimate lithium batteries are the ones that I routinely must purchase for my digital camera and themselves cost at least $6-7dollars if not more. My husband was concerned that I might have bought old batteries, but they are good until 2016, so I guess it was just a great deal! Thanks for all of your posts, Jenny! I save lots of moolah every week and you take a lot of the work out of it for me. :)

Does anyone know if you can use a $5 off $25 with 3 different extra care buck coupons (in addition to manufacturer coupons)? Here's what I want to do:
Buy 4 Aveeno face wash at $6.99 each-
      Use $5 off $25
      2 $2 off 2 manufacturer coupons
      $1 extra buck
      $2 extra bucks
      $3 extra bucks (spring spending)
      Get back $10 extra bucks
For a grand total of $2.96 (after $10 back plus tax)
I don't see why not, but I wanted to make sure before I embarrassed myself. Thanks so much!

      • Couponsavvyashley

yes you can do that! that is the beauty of extra bucks!!

        • Danielle

yay!!! that's what i thought! thanks so much! i'm so excited to get my facewash for $0.74 each!

      • Beth

Also, if you go to the Aveeno website you can print a rebate form and get $10 back because you spent $25 on Aveeno products. Your deal would be even better! :)

        • Danielle

That's awesome! Thank you! The only rebate I see for Aveeno expired on July 18th :(

      • Jemerson818611

you can use a 5 off 25 any extra care bucks and manufacturer and if your cvs is as nice as mine if you have a cvs coupon on top of a manufacturer such as 1 off aveeno cvs and 2 off aveeno manufactor you can use that together on top of the 5 off of 25 and extra care bucks

    • Freedomspradley1

Anyone know if CVS charges 50% off on BIGI items or do you have to buy both (1 at full price, 1 for $0)?

      • Elizabeth

        You have to buy both.

    • rebecca

can anyone tell me how to get the reinventing beauty mag from cvs?

      • shannon

they had them in the store a couple weeks ago, by the counter.

      • Cindyrella

Our store has them in the beauty section. Just ask your cashier and they should be able to tell you.

    • Freedomspradley1

The L'oreal everpure/everstrong q's aren't printing for my zip. Anyone know a zip that works?

      • I am having the same problem….anyone out there willing tell us your zipcode if you coupon is showing up would be appreciated.

    • Sonia

The Loreal website has a $3 off coupon for the Collagen MicroPulse Eye. However, I don't know if this item itself will be included in the ECB. Just something to think about if anyone wants to experiment.

      • Val

The collagen micro pulse eye is actually pictured in the ad. Should work!

    • Banyail

How do you get the emailed coupons? I'm signed up online, but I never get anything from them.

      • Esmelda

        Same here.

      • cjms6599

When I signed up it took about 2 months and now I get them emailed to me every 2-3 weeks.

    • Ruth

Does anyone know how the photobook offer will work? Do you have to create it in the store? Online? Is it a certificate? That one confuses me.

      • Beth

You have to create it in the store.

        • Ruth

Thanks for the quick responses, everyone! I have never created a photo book in a store before, only online. Do I have to bring in actual pictures or would a CD of the pictures I want to use be okay? Does anyone know how many pages/photos the book will take? How long does it usually take? The books I make online sometimes take me months, but they are 100's of pages. I'm sorry for all the questions, it is just so different from what I normally do that I am having trouble picturing it. Thx in advance!

      • You make it in the store from your own photos. The books are usually ready with an hour. Your exta bucks will print on the bottom of your receipt after purchase.

      • Ashley

I went and asked today. You create it in the store. It's a nice hardback book and then you can pick fun backgrounds with the pictures. I am going to do my honeymoon with it. But it would be a fun project to do with a child who is stuck at home for the summer :)

    • Hael80

There were no Biore prints available. However if you go to there face book page and sign up for their sweepstake, it says they will email you a $2.00 coupon.

      • Hael80

Confirmed… coupon was sent to my spam folder.

    • Debbietrimm

where do you get the reinventing beauty magazine????

      • Donna

You can get it at most stores by the checkout counter. I work for CVS and that is where we are supposed to keep it. Make sure you check the dates because some are old. We are waiting for instructions from corporate on what to do with the expired magazines.

        • Debbietrimm

          thanks!!!

          • Deshaine

Some stores, like the ones in my neck of the woods in AL, don't carry that magazine, at all.

      • Kuangie

At my store it is next to the beauty items. Double check the mag. The 1st time I bought it, someone had stolen the insert out that had all the coupons. I had no idea to check.

    • Jay

I'm new and could use some directions… Things are are a little tight right know, as with a lot if people. I've always done the shopping… But I don't know were to find all the good coupons. Been able to save some with news paper coupons, but I here about all the folks that are saving half on their grocery bills… I live near HT and Lowes in Graham NC. Can some one point me in the right direction..

      Thanks for you help
      Jay

      • Alyssa

If you are not familiar with the site then I would definatley go to her tutorials page (at the top right of the screen) this will lay out how it works and what the lingo means. She will post the adds on the site with the coupon matches and tell you where to find them. And also tell you what the cost will be after coupons. SS is Smart Source a weekly coupon insert and the numbers next to it are the date. RP is Red Plum, PG Procter and Gamble. When you get the paper you need to save the inserts label them with the date so you can go back to them to get the coupons… Even if you have already clipped everything you think you might need. Often times something I might not normally buy ends up being free with the coupn so why not. Thats why you need to keep your inserts. Hope that helps… Read the Tutorial it will help too!

        • Jay

Thanks to all for you help I will definitely try your suggestions. I really like this site..

          • Kuangie

I also LOVE the printable shopping lists on this site. You check what you want to buy from the sale ads. It prints off with the coupons available for that product and where to find the coupon. She also lists scenerios for using ECBs, RRs, etc.

      • Esmelda

Some stores have free coupon booklets. Publix frequently has great ones. They are usually located in the turnstile when you enter the store, or in a special display. Jenny links to places where you can get online coupons. On some company websites you can sign up for either online coupons or for them to send you coupon booklets in the mail (e.g. P&G, SC Johnson, and Pillsbury all have sent me coupons in the past). Then there are tear-off pads next to the products sometimes. Coupons are all over the place! I think we just notice them more once we start couponing.

      • JEB

You can get more coupons from All You Magazine subscription or available at Walmart single issue, also look for store coupons to stack with manufacturer coupons. Sign up for Pssst. program and Kraft First Taste and Vocal Point programs online to get coupons and products sent to you. Check websites of your favorite products, as manufacturers will have coupons on their sites…

      • Rita

You can also purchase coupons and I’ve done this a couple of times and have really really saved hundreds and hundreds. If you go this route you might want to concentrate on coupons with an expiration date that isn’t too close and for those items you need and can possibly stockpile. I like mycouponhunter.com but there are others. I concentrated on stockpile items and was able to really take advantage of sales. I might buy coupons every other month. Check it out.

    • Reymannkids

There is a $.75 coupon off Dove Beauty bars out there. I don't know when I got it (from newspaper) but it expires 7/25. So use that and you get the Dove Bars for $.25.

      • Leah L.

I have that coupon as well, but it states it's for 6 bar pack or larger. :-(

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

RP 6/27. However, for 6-pack or larger, not 2-pack

    • Pinkandblackcrazy

if you play the schick quattro game on face book you can get 4.00 coupons that includes the disposables this should go good with the B1G1 razors

      • Val

Can you use two coupons for this or only one?

        • Suemh

CVS normally allows 2 coupons on a B1G1 deal.

          • Val

            Thanks!

      • DonnaChas

        What's the web address? Thanks!

    • Kelley

I'm a newbie to CVS and a little worried about doing multiple transactions. How do you guys do it? Can I bring all my items to the register and separate them there or should I go back to get my items each time? Can the cashier give me a hard time about it?

      • Michele

Just put them all in your cart and be ready to go with coupons in hand. Tell them ahead of time you will be doing multiple transactions. They are usually very nice about it. Just be nice to them and courteous to the people in line. If people line up behind you, go back to the end of the line. I try to let people go ahead of me and wait for a time when no one is there so I can focus.

      • I usually go in, get #1, and then buy it and take it out to my car. Then I come back in and get #2.

If you try to separate them all at the register you'll get attitude from everybody, including a possible stab in the back from a customer in line behind you.

      • I work at cvs and our store policy is if no one is in line behind you then you can do them all at once but if there are other customers behind you then you can do one transaction then go to the back of the line and what to do the next.We see people everyday doing multiple transactions and so don't hesitate to do yours. hope this helps.

        • rebecca

          thanks for that skater!!!

          • Kelley

Thanks everyone. I'll give it a shot today :)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Your question sounds like you are a thief out there to rob the store. You are still making a sale and the retailer is taking advantage of your purchases. Put your stuff in separate baskets for each transaction and carry them to the register with your head held high. Do only two transactions if there is a long line building, and come around for more if you still have more to go. There is no need to feel guilty-You are buying stuff, not stealing.

    • guest

CVS also has Alcon Opti Free Replenish or Express Twin Pack or Sustane Eye drops for $14.99 with $5 ECB and there is suppose to be a $4 Q in Sundays paper for Replenish. Makes for a good deal.

      • Hesperides

Yay! I'm excited. I only use Opti Free and it's rarely on sale!

    • Guest

OK, really silly question but I'm new to all this!
      $1 ECB wyb (2) CVS Pantiliners 22ct. at 50¢ ea LIMIT 3
So, I can buy a total of 6 cvs liner packs for $3 and get $3 ECB back?

      • Hannah

Yes, but you can only buy two per transaction on this deal for some reason. Otherwise you won't get your ECB's back..

      • AK

You need to purchase them in separate transactions to get all 3 ECB (buy 2 packs each time). If you buy 6 packs at once you will only get 1 ECB.

    • Immaculate888

Hi everyone, I wanted to point out something I do to save even more money at CVS. It is fairlly obvious but I just started doing it and it has been a BIG help. Both I and my fiance have extra care cards but up until now, I had only been couponing with my card. However, just recently I started carrying his with me as well. That way, when a good ECB deal is limit 1, I can do it once with my card and once with his and get 2x the ECBs! The only thing to remember though, is that my ECBs can only be used with my card and his can only be used with his card. It is a GREAT way to get even more for your money–especially when you hav ea lot of coupons and would LOVE to get more than one ECB deal with them!

      • Amelia

FYI: My sister had her 2nd one confiscated by a cashier. It says clearly on the the terms one per household.

        • hmmm

Technically they are two households until they get married. And since each card was acquired prior to, I feel like they should be grandfathered in. Its probably unethical to do it intentionally, but if you had two existing ones, and are shopping for two separate households, how would CVS make a case against you? Its like running errands for someone else, which I'm pretty sure isn't illegal or unethical.

          • 2cor9:12

my mom has one, my dad and my grandmother who my mom shops for but, my mom is only concerned with razors, etc. and I am pretty sure she goes to diff CVSes to do the deals not obvious like diff transactions on the same visit, Never had a prob.

        • Lsmith3377

Okay, now that would have really ticked me off. I mean, who made that cashier the extra care card police? I would have asked to speak to a manager. If CVS issued her a second card, then I do not think it is any of the cashier's business how many cards she has. I really don't think CVS is losing any money here. The more cards being used just means more business for them. Don't you agree? Tell your sister to call 1-800-SHOPCVS and ask for a replacement for her “stolen” card. I'm sure they will send her another one out no questions asked.

          • Guest

it is the cashier business since it per the terms. Some store will even tell you that. a household per CVS is an address not married or such. This has been answered several times before by cvs and per there terms.

            • again, sign in please! Why moan and groan about some else’s comments as GUEST? Own it and sign in as yourself!

            • Lsmith3377

Exactly, a household is per address, not customer. She may of had two cards each with a different address listed, or she may have been shopping using a friend’s or relative’s card along with hers. Again, I do not think it is the cashier’s job to police extra care cards. That should be left up to corporate to determine if more than one card gets issued to the same address. If they’re going to have cashiers policing extra care cards, then they need to make it policy that all cards holders show picture i.d.s along with their extra care cards at the time of purchase. I mean how ridiculous does that sound? Like I said before, CVS is not losing any money here and the more cards that are being used just means more business for them. I think corporate could probably care less how many cards a customer has. It really just comes down to whether your cashier likes it or not and again, I do not think it is any of the cashier’s business how many cards a customer has.

        • Guest

If you shop at cvs please only have one card. You really have no need for more than one card.

        • Anonymous

We dont know the circumstances of “confiscation,” but on its face value, it seems outrageous that a cashier would poke into someone else’s business like that. One might be helping one’s parents (at different Address) with a second card, so there is no rationale for such forced actions. Also, one can turn around and come back to the register with a second card in hand without anyone knowing or a person may go to a different store or comes back at different times to use multiple cards. Therefore, there is no concrete way of keeping track of who has how many cards.

I highly doubt that anyone needs multiple cards on constant basis just to get limit 2 on $1 ecbs instead of 1. Also, same sales repeat in few weeks. Therefore, it does not seem to be a big problem to have multiple cards. Remember, RA, Walgreens have no real limit on their version of ecbs; therefore, the employee may be doing a disservice to CVS.

      • guest

I don't know if you are aware of this, and someone please correct if I am wrong, but you are technically only suppose to have one ecc (extra care card) per household. (I know that it's you and your fiance so I guess that wouldn't count as one household yet, but once you are married–which marriage is a wonderful thing, so congrats!!–you will be)

      • Guest

        duh!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

The scenario you presented has loopholes to your advantage that many on this board are particularly sensitive about. Unfortunately, there is no way, no system for anyone to track and stop you arbitrarily. Unless, they start taking your fingerprints with each purchase to keep track of what limit you buy or not, there is no legal means to stop what is inherently business and sales to the advantage of the corporate world as well.

Meaning, you are two individuals with individual needs and you are not one household-Period-rules and ethics satisfied; consumers and corporate both are happy with sales

        • melissa

it was the employees at my cvs that told me to get a card for my husband. Mainly I use it for great diaper deals and money makers. I have been told that each person in the house could have thier own card. I didnt know either until they suggested it to me.

      • Guest

CVS really doesn't like you having more than one card and some stores will tell you. how many items do you really need for a family? With one card i save about 8,000 a year at cvs and my out of pocket is under 100 bucks which is usually just tax.

    • Denise

Anybody know the price of the Schick razors?

      • Pinkandblackcrazy

At wal-mart they were 6.54 so I am guessing more than that, that is for the quattro. Does anybody know how to deal with overage at CVS if usine the 4.00 of razor coupons on B1G1 razors

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Normaly, CVs register looks at the “total” of that product and apply the Q value to that total. Meaning, if you had 3 $1 on any Johson product Qs and you were buying 4 Johnson products each .99 cents for a total of $3.96, then the three Qs for a total of $3 will go through without any problems because $3 Q value is still not over $3.96. If you tried to apply 4th $1 Qs, then the last one will beep because by then, the last Q. value (combined) will exceed by 4 cents. In that case, last Q needs to be modifed to 96 cents to cover up the balance on that product(s).

To my understanding, CVS register does not let Q values “overflow” to cover the cost of “other” items.

Similarly, for Schick b1g1 Q., your total would probably be the cost of one razor, for example $7 if you were buying just two. So you may use up to two Qs on Schick and the Q values must not exceed the value of $7 in this case. If a coupon or two coupons combine exceed $7, then one or the other coupon needs to be modified to just cover the cost of Schick. Meaning, you do not get the benefit of any overage applied to other items in the transaction.

Please anyone correct me if I am wrong.

    • Bjohnson10

My CVS is refusing to accept printed coupons unless they are from the CVS site. The store manager told me that this is a CVS policy. Has anyone else had an issue with this?

      • Guest

Never had a problem at cvs. Maybe print out the cvs coupon policy and take it with you next time or try another cvs store in your area (if you have one).

      • Tifftillander

I would call CVS corporate. I had this issue about 6 months ago and I called corporate. They called the store manager and told them to accept it. They were also nice enough to load a $5 ECB on my card for my trouble. Good Luck:)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is probably inaccurate. Some employees have a hard time understanding when the corp. might send them a notice that fake xxx internet coupon is floating around and to watch out for; and the over-zealous employees simply refuse all Qs. This is truly unacceptable and annoying. Confirm the policy with CVS and report the employee to stop the disservice to CVS. CVS would probably be the last retailer that would refuse all internet Qs.

      • Christina

i live in south florida and the manager will not accept ANY printed coupons =( (except cvs) bummer…

        • Guest

its up to each store manager and the district manager.

      • I also live in south Fl and my stores accept them.

      • Tabitha

yup. @ 1 cvs in my town the cashier refused to accept them saying that too many people were using them, so the manager said no to take printed cpns anymore.. I was like okayyyyyy……. I called corporate when I got home and asked if CVS stores take printed cpns. He said yes and that the policy is blanket and the store should accept them. He placed me on hold while he called the CVS store and spoke to the manager. He fixed the problem! I'd say call corporate and give them the store #. Won't hurt to try.

        • Jen

Oh my goodness, Tabitha! That was a really awesome thing you did. You helped many, many people be able to save the money they need! In all honest, before I started using coupons, we were drowning. Since learning how to do this, we've managed to pull ourselves out! It's thanks to people like you (and Jenni, of course), who are willing to really get in there and help that have made such a difference. Thank you, again.

        • Bjohnson10

Thanks so much! I will get the store number this week and call corporate. The store is right across the street from where I work, so I really want to get this resolved.

    • MabelJean

I have a quick question about the Aveeno deal: Do you have to SPEND $20 to or BUY $20 in product in order to get the $10 ECB. I guess what I mean is if I buy $20 worth of product and use $6 in Aveeno coupons, does it still count as $20?

      • Elizabeth

Yes, coupons do not every count in the amount you have to spend to get ECBs. It is $20 before coupons. So…it you get $20 worth of Aveeno, you can use a $4 off $20, your $6 worth of coupons. Then, you would pay $10 out of pocket and get $10 ECBs. If you already have some ECBs, you can use those too and spend even less.

        • MabelJean

          Thanks!!

      • Tifftillander

Yes the $20 is before coupons.

        • MabelJean

          Thanks!!

    • Southern Savers shoppers – is $2.99 a good price for 17 oz. of olive oil? I kind of think so, but I have only bought the big sized bottles at Sam's before (you know, B.C. = “Before Coupons).

      • Bamafan

        Yes I think it is

        • Kim

I plan on buying 2 bottles. I have some extra ECBs to use and we use olive oil a lot to cook with so I think with the coupon it is a good deal.

          • Kim

I just got back from CVS and the olive oil is a GREAT deal! I bought 2 bottles–1 regular and 1 extra virgin. The original price was $6.99 to $8.49 so getting them for $2.99 is a huge savings.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

On a side note, Fillipo frequently has dispensers for coupons on oil shelves in many supermarkets. In case, you cant print multiple, try to find $1 coupons from those dispensers that they have in supermarkets. That way you can get multiple bottles for an amazing price after coupons. You may not find the Q all the time, though. But there is $1/1 out there that does not expire until end of September.

      • Guest

no not a good price kinda high as you can usually get them for under a dollar at public

    • mb's mom

Does anyone know a zip for the loreal everpure printable $2 q? Thanks if you do…I sure would like it!

    • joan

Am I missing something? In Jenny's “Deal Idea” it says you can get a $20.00 mail-in rebate. I only see a $10.00 rebate for the Aveeno Ageless Vitality kit. Does anyone know?

      • Quilterwoman1974

i clicked on the web site and it is for $20.00.

      • Babygirl2632

On the Aveeno Webite it has the 20$ mail in rebate

        • joan

Unless you had been doing this for awhile, how would you have known to go to the
          Aveeno website?

          I didn't…………………….

    • Cogdill2

Where do you find the Reinventing Beauty Magazine that has the CVS coupon for the Kotex product? Is it an instore booklet?

      • Leah L.

It is in the magazine aisle with all the regular magazines.

        • millie

thanks for that i will look also.

      • millie

it is actually a magazine put out by cvs and it cost 99 cents. they are few and far between. sometimes my cvs has it but most of the time they don't. you will just have to check with your local cvs. i have not been able to find it for a long time now. i emialed cvs and asked them about possibly expanding the availibility of it but as of now it has not happened. sorry that is the best answer i can give you.

    • LL

If I did 3 of the pantiliners last week, can I do three more this week – in other words when it is a month long deal, is it 3 for the month or 3 each week?

      • tarheelbaby1

It's 3 times for the month. I did it early in July and my receipt is still showing “limit reached” on that deal.

    • LL

I'd also like to know how to find the Loreal Everstrong/Everpure printable q – none of the zip codes I tried worked.

How do you do the Photobooks at CVS? Do you actually do the book in store or do I need to do it online and pick it up in the store?

      • April

I've not done it before, but I've seen people below comment that you must do it in the store.

    • Cogdill2

Where do you find the Reinventing Beauty Magazine that has the CVS coupon for the Kotex product? Is it an instore booklet?

    • Quilterwoman1974

i clicked on the web site and it is for $20.00.

    • Babygirl2632

On the Aveeno Webite it has the 20$ mail in rebate

    • Leah L.

It is in the magazine aisle with all the regular magazines.

    • 2cor9:12

my mom has one, my dad and my grandmother who my mom shops for but, my mom is only concerned with razors, etc. and I am pretty sure she goes to diff CVSes to do the deals not obvious like diff transactions on the same visit, Never had a prob.

    • Leah L.

I have that coupon as well, but it states it's for 6 bar pack or larger. :-(

    • Jay

Thanks to all for you help I will definitely try your suggestions. I really like this site..

    • Suemh

CVS normally allows 2 coupons on a B1G1 deal.

    • joan

Unless you had been doing this for awhile, how would you have known to go to the
      Aveeno website?

      I didn't…………………….

    • LL

If I did 3 of the pantiliners last week, can I do three more this week – in other words when it is a month long deal, is it 3 for the month or 3 each week?

    • LL

I'd also like to know how to find the Loreal Everstrong/Everpure printable q – none of the zip codes I tried worked.

How do you do the Photobooks at CVS? Do you actually do the book in store or do I need to do it online and pick it up in the store?

    • Kim

I plan on buying 2 bottles. I have some extra ECBs to use and we use olive oil a lot to cook with so I think with the coupon it is a good deal.

    • Jlyons55

Can I purchase both deals (ie. 4 detergents) $2 ECB wyb (2) Arm & Hammer 2X Detergent $3.50 LIMIT 2
in the same transaction, or do I have to buy 2 and then go back and buy 2 more to get the ECBs to print?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You can do both deals in one transaction for one $4 ECB. However, it is better to do them separately so you get two ECBs of $2 each instead of one $4 ECB. Smaller ECBS are always easier to play with for future transactions where you might owe end balance too small for a large ECB

    • Drseusnc

Can someone please tell me where I can get the Reinventing Beauty Magazine?

      • Dianne

Mine are up at the front of the store on the newspaper stand.

      • Sjwillnmollysmom

My store has them in the cosmetics department.

    • Akelli30

after filling out the 10 questions for the Biore coupon, “no prints available for this campaign”!

      • cber

This happened to me too. Very annoying to spend time and not be compensated with a coupon!

        • mb's mom

Like them on facebook and you will end up with a coupon through email. I got one yesterday!

    • rosewood4

Does anyone know what size the photo book is?

      • Val

        6 x 8 (ten pages)

    • Julie

I received the $5 off $25 coupon in my inbox, unfortunately it is only good until tomorrow (Sunday). Good because it's when the deals for the week start- however I do not do any shopping/couponing on Sundays (we all need a break sometime right???). Please let me know if this coupon would be of use to someone and I will be happy to FWD the e-mail. I hate to waste this coupon.

      • Larisadixon1

i would love ot have it. larisadixon1@gmail.com

      • Val

I'm pretty sure the coupon is only good for your card, so it wouldn't work. Very nice of you though!

        • Brandie

you might want to ask the cashier about using somebody else's coupon. some cashiers will let you use somebody else's.

      • Veggiegirl77

You can check to see if your store has the deals starting at 6 pm tonight. Most stores do if they are not 24 hrs.

      • Susan

My CVS takes expired CVS coupons – I have used them up to 3 months after expiration with no problem. On clerk told me one time that the CVScoupons were good for about a year. Worth a try.

        • Msurtado

          Including the ECB?

      • Shannon

the CVS I work at will only accept coupons the day after. we are not supposed to take them after that unless approved by my manager. in my district we are required to put the sale signs up saturday and once the signs are up we have to honor the stated price/ offer. as far as giving someone else the coupon goes, the coupon can only be used for your card. otherwise they should not take it. sorry.

      • Anginlynzi

Julie, check with your CVS store, mine the Sunday deals are available Saturday nites at 5PM so you can get two deals on one day!!! I live in Kissimmee, FL

    • Keren

Today the coupon scanner gave me the diapers/wipes coupon, a $2 off any $6 soap or body wash purchase, and $1.50 off Little Swimmers! Looks like I'll be going back next week.

      Keren

P.S – I bought a jumbo pack of Huggies, 2 pks of Celsius green tea, 3 bottles of contact solution, and 4 pks of pretzel M&Ms. Tax and all I spent $9.24 and I still have $10.99 in ECBs for next time. Jenny you are the greatest!!! Have a great (and MUCH deserved vacation!!)

    • Mistykerns

Didn't read all the comments, so I don't know if this is already posted. Just went to CVS and did the Pampers buy a box for 21.99 and get 10ECB. When I got home, I realized the limit is actually 2! I am so excited! I am going back to get another box! 21.99- 2 q= 19.99, use my 10 ECB from last transaction = 9.99, and get 10 ECB back! YAY for free diapers!

      • Erin

I just noticed that, too. I used my $4.50/1 Pampers box and a $2 mfg coupon today; I'll wait to get more, though. I'm hoping for one of the $4/one diaper and one wipes coupon from the red machine!

        • Bjessa

Where did you get the 4.50 q at>

      • HomeTownLife

The same thing happened at my CVS (in SC) … the limit is 2 !!! Got the one Big Box ($23.99, minus a $4.50/1 coupon from the CVS machine, and a $3/1 coupon from the pampers sample package … bought more stuff, too so I used the $5 off $25 coupon, too!) After paying, I got the $10 extra bucks, and noticed on the receipt that the limit was not yet met … went back in, and got another box, using the $10 extra bucks, and another coupon. Got $10 more extra bucks! NICE!!!

        • Bjessa

How were you able to shop for this sale already? Does it start at a certain time today?

          • Mandy

Some CVS stores start their Sunday deals on Saturday. Not all…And only the regular hour stores (not 24 hr stores). I have several in my city, but one day walked into one in particular & noticed that all of the Sunday deals were already posted on a Saturday afternoon.

            • Ginger

Both of my 24-hour stores start the deals on Saturday. I think everyone is a little different, OP should probably just ask, or try something small to find out.

          • Mistykerns

Just call your store. My store actually starts the Sunday sale on Friday afternoon.

          • Guest

Most start anywhere from 3 pm to 6 pm on Saturday just have to call some won't even tell you so just price check an item that how you know. i shop CVS all over the south when I am traveling for work.

        • Chrstyamyrs

Is the $4 off diapers and wipes on any brand? Can you stack CVS coupons with manu coupons?

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

You can stack CVS store Qs. with manuf. Qs.

        • guest1

I didn't know you could use the $10 ECB for the same thing you just bought…good to know for future purchases though. Thanks!

      • Kksnyder77

I got the same deal – $21.99 for each box (2) and $10 back on each…

    • Sonya

I just found out that the Pampers deal is limit 2, not1!

      • Michelle J

Can you tell me more? Who did you find out from? Thanks!

      • Michelle J

Nevermind. I scrolled down to the next post.

      • Laura

Showed the same for me :)

    • Stephbarber

I went to CVS today to get the current deals and hopefully get the great $4 off coupon for diapers and wipes (which I did). I also got another CVS coupon for $10 Prevacid 24 hour, so pair that with the $4 manufacturer Q, plus the ECB, that's a pretty good deal on Prevacid!

    • Happilin

If I purchase the 2 speed stick deodorant can I use 2 speed stick coupons from the reinventing magazine?

      • shannon

        yes, one for each

    • mb's mom

Anyone have a zip for the Loreal everpure coupon? I would love this coupon! Thanks!!

      • Ktillot

I need this one too=) Any luck finding it guys???

    • kelly

So excited, I just had to share. I just went shopping at my CVS for diapers. Used a $2.50q for Huggies Jumbo pack, and a $2q for Pampers. I had an e-mail for $5 off $25, the red box gave me $2 ECB when I went in, plus I had $5 ECB from last week. That made my total $16.16 OOP, plus I earned $13 ECB. Basically, I got 120 diapers for $3.16!!!!!!

      • Sandra

That is AWESOME! Quick question…Where did you get your $5 off of $25 coupon? And what is the red box? Just getting started with couponing so I don't think I have all the coupons yet…

        • meme

The red box is a little scanner machine located toward the front of the store in some of the stores. I don't think they all have the red box. You scan your card and it prints out coupons to use. I have gotten some really good ones. i.e. $7 off $15 worth of Revlon cosmetics. This can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for some great savings. Sometimes it is $5 off $20, etc. So very much worth scanning before shopping.

        • Hollimac19

Sign up for the CVS emails. Scroll up to where Jenny lists the transactions and in her second transaction it says $4 off $20 and a link, click on it and input your email! I get $4/$20 or $5/$25 at least 3 times a month.

          • RushNsaver

I never get those 4 off 20 or 5 off 25 coupons. i called to find out and they said it depends on the loyalty and how much you spend. i usually spend more than 25 per transaction, of course after coupons it comes to like $5, but that should not count. my mom gets hers almost weekly. i get jealous at times.

            • Amy

Try logging in on their website. I think that's the only time I get them. It's always on a Thursday.

            • Denise

You also might want to try your Spam folder. I'm not so technology saavy, and I just found out that's where my coupons were going.

            • Denise

You also might want to try your Spam folder. I'm not so technology saavy, and I just found out that's where my coupons were going.

            • Queuepawn

I signed up for e-mail coupons a couple months ago and I got the initial $4/$20, but haven't gotten any since. I know how you feel. I just do the best with the coupons I do have . . . and try to keep a positive attitude (even though it's hard).

    • Hroof

does any one have the mail in rebate for the Zegerid I seem to have lost mine:( if you do email me at avonandheather@aol.com thanks

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Schick has $3/1 Q out in SS 7/25, this week. For b1g1, you can use 2 of those. The lowest price, I believe, on any disposable razor item on sale is $7.99. So, in best case scenario, you may get 2 disposable razor packs for $1.99, that is about $1 a pack-still not bad

      • Mel

They are only 5.99 at Target, but 2 get a 5 dollar giftcard which makes them .49 each.

    • Kpboehm

I just printed the mail in rebate for the Aveeno and it's a $20 rebate not $10 :)

    • Hroof

i went to CVS yesterday and got the m&m's and some other things that had ecb when I got home I looked at my receipt and had the all the ecb except for the m&m one. It wasnt that much I just am mad at myself for not checking the reciept when I was in there.

      • Melissa

Me, too…I will have to get them the next time I go in…

      • April

You have to be careful shopping on Saturdays because the next week's deals start ringing on the register. Mine didn't print either and I had to make sure to ask for them. They are always really nice about it, though. It's good that deals ring on Saturday because then you can get two week's worth of deals on the same day, but you have to double-check your ECBs.

    • Guest

Does anybody know how rainchecks work on ECB deals? I will not be able to make it to CVS until saturday and in my area it means they will be out of everything good on sale.

      • Melissa

CVS will give you a raincheck and they will also give you the ECB for the product a week or two weeks later. My CVS is very helpful with this!

      • Queennana0725

I understand that the rainchecks will work just like the original deal. You will get the ecbs!

      • Kim

yes, they will give you rainchecks AND give you the ecb after the fact.. One thing my cvs did that was awesome, the contact lens cleaner week before last ( 7.99 in ecb) they were out, so she wrote me the raincheck, AND clipped out the add of the sale paper, and clipped it to my raincheck, BECAUSE there is a code on the ad to help them get your ecb's.. and it helps if theres any dispute too!!!

    • Meganclaycohen

there is a 1.00 off coupon on dove bar soap from the sunday paper wks ago…

      • NSBsaver

I had one too but It was only for the 6 pack…. The deal was for the 2 pack.

    • Milly

Not sure if I missed this in the list above but CVS has a deal on the Opti Free Replenish twin pack and there is a $4 off coupon in SS 7.25. The starting price is 14.99 and you get $5 in ECB and you can use your $4 off coupon.

      • Jmccann

this is a great deal, I noticed this was missing above too! if you buy the pampers and then use your ecb's from that to buy the Opti-Free combined w/ the coupon the Opti free works out to be free!

    • Michelle

There is a $1 off Almay product coupon in todays SS insert with pairs with the deal at cvs this week.

    • Bethmgriffith

$4.00 off diapers store Q…. How does one get it? I tried scanning the kiosk and had 2 transactions today and NO coupon.

      • Jmccann

I think it just depends on the day you go, you just have to get lucky with that store kiosk. I keep trying to get the bounty coupon at the kiosk and its not printing out for me! I try to run in and check the kiosk a few times a week if I can.

        • yep, you are right. I got 2 $2 off bounty coupons and a $4.50 off a big box of pampers coupon. I am soo glad I saved the pampers one. Now, I can use that with my $3 vocalpoint coupon. YAY!! Thank you Southern Savers!!

    • Christie

What a fabulous day at CVS! The magic coupon machine gave me $4 off if I bought diapers AND wipes. So here's what I did…
I bought: box of pampers for 21.99
      60 ct pampers wipes 3.49
      kotex liners for 4.99
I used 5 off 25 Q that I got in e-mail, $4 off diapers and wipes cvs Q, $3 off pampers vocalpoint Q, .50 off pampers wipes, $1 off kotex u product, and $11.99 in ECBs from last week. Total before tax was $4.98. Awesome! AND…I left the store with $14.99 in ECBs for next week! Thank you Southern Savers! You have changed my life!

    • Thaijones2

Hello everybody I have scored big with cvs today here is how below:
      Transaction # 1
      aveeno intense relief 6.99
      aveeno body wash 5.99
      aveeno cond 6.49

This purchase quaifies you for a 10$ mail in rebate to aveeno ( 10 mail in rebate when you purchase 25$ in aveeno products in one transaction) , plus you get 10$ in extra bucks. So you made 4.54$. My shopping continues below for transaction 2.

      Dove clinical protection 6.00
      cvs bucks -10.00 ( from transaction 1)

Plus you get 4$ in extra bucks from this transaction for your next vist. so you made 2$ overall. happy cvsing.

      • emtshopper

Where did you find the rebate? The only one I saw says purchase before 7/18

        • Thaijones2

I am so sorry, you just made me relize the rebate i no longer valid. So the entire transaction will cost 5.45$ Still a good deal though. thanks for helping me see this oversight.

      • Jane

For the $5 off $25, did the register not beep saying it was not for your card? Did they take it anyways? Seems too good to be true.

        • Thaijones2

It did peep but they pushed it through anyway. i have never had a problem with that before. good luck, ;-)

    • Debbie

I got the soap ensembles refills today. There were $2.00 peelies on each one. Scenario went like this: 5 @ 3.00 each = $15.00, use 5 2.00 peelies (coupons) = 10.00, spent 5.00, received 5.00 extra bucks. YIPPEE

    • Debbie

I forgot to add that I used the 4.99 extra buck from the U Kotex deal to pay for softsoap deal. Paid .01 oop. Great day.

    • Nancycrom

There's a $2 manuf q for Neutrogena suncare on the back of this month's Harris Teeter drugstore flyer.

    • Nancy

Hi Everyone! I want to get the most absolute best prices on Pampers diapers this week. On top of the $4/$20 Q, $10 ECB's, and my $2.00 Pampers coupons, is there anything else I can expand on to get an even better deal? Are there any scenarios I can put together for this?
      Thanks

      • Lizy

I just went to buy diapers and had a store coupon print out for $4 off when buying diapers and wipes. It did not specify brands so I spent $2.50 on CVS wipes that are on sale. Good luck. I hope you get it too.

      • Michelle J

I had various coupons from $1.50 to $3 off Pampers. I used the $3 off in the first transaction, then used the 10 ECB and more coupons to buy a smaller pack of diapers. A friend of mine tried to get 2 boxes, even in seperate transactions and they wouldn't print her 2nd 10 ECB's that I've seen some on here say they've gotten. :(

        • Nancy

          Thanks! That's a great idea.

    • Jennifer D

Just tried to enter my info to receive the Biore coupon. After entering my personal info and answering their questions, I clicked to continue and they let me know that there are no more coupons available in the campaign! Ugh!

      • mb's mom

If you are on facebook, look for Biore and “like” them. You can register to recieve a $2 q by email. I did it Friday, got the q through my email account and did that deal this afternoon!

    • Musicteacherle

Didn't see Palmolive on your list, but it is on sale at my local CVS for 98 cents. Last week in the newspaper, there was a coupon for 50 cents off. Just thought people in my area might like to know.

      • connie

        what area are you in?

        • Margaret

This is advertised in the regular sales ad (it was on the back page of mine), so it probably won't matter what area you are in. The sale is only for a 10 oz. bottle, though…so still pretty small. But I guess not too bad if the coupon makes it .49. :) I'm in the Pensacola, FL area.

    • mama2boyz

ok what does the limit 2 or limit 3 mean in green?? i looked it up on the tutorial but couldnt find it…does it mean if it says a limit of 3 that i can get 3 of the items and still get the ecb's to total all 3?

      • Ktillot

yes, limit 1 means you can only buy one and get those ECBs. If it's limit of 2 then you can buy a quantity of 2 and get ECBs for both (ex: 2 of the B&L solutions, you get $5.98 in ECBs back). Hope that helps.

        • mama2boyz

yes that does help thank you :) ok so on the pantiliners it says buy 2 get $1 ecb limit 3…how can it be a limit of three when u have to buy in multiples of 2?

          • Summervillegirl

Don't quote me but I think it means you can get a total of 6 boxes. Ex: Buy 2 at .50 each you spend a buck but get a ECB for 1.00. I think the limit means you can do that 3 times and get an ECB each time. Someone correct me if I am wrong please.

          • Brooke

Limit 3 means limit 3 deals. This particular deal is buy 2 get $1 ecb. So you can do it 3 times. Also, the blogosphere is reporting that there is a glitch with this deal and you have to buy each deal in 3 separate transactions or the ecb won't print.

    • mb's mom

Had an awesome trip to CVS today!

      6 Sobe's (w/ B1G1 q's from the game)
      1 Biore cleanser ($2q)
1 olive oil on sale ($1q—didn't know CVS had olive oil till I saw it was on sale and needed some!)
      1 kotex U ($1q)
      2 bags lifesavers (B1G1 with $1q)
      2 packs of 10 disposable razors (B1G1 and 2 $4q's—yes, 20 razors for free!)
1 Dove candy bar ($.79q, but on sale for $.50!)
Used $7 ECB from last week

      Regular retail—$52.36 before taxes
      After coupons—$8.60 before taxes
      paid $10.36 with taxes!!!
I got back $4.99ECB's for kotex, $2 ECB's for Biore, and $1 ECB for my green bag tag!!

Best trip in a long time!

      • lauraR

Where did you find the Biore coupon? I tried the printable and it said it was the limit had been reached. :(

    • Ktillot

Can someone answer this question: Last week, I bought two of the B&L solution at $5.98 and got back $5.98 in ECBs. Can I do that again, or does the extra care card keep up with the quantities of the item I've already purchased and not let me exceed the limit of 2? I want to buy 2 again tomorrow so I can get the ECBs. Let me know=)

      • Guest

Yes, since it's a monthly deal, you can only buy 2 for the month.. They keep track of everything you get ExtraBucks for… At the bottom of the receipt, it will show: “This Week's Extra Buck offers:” … So, no you can't get the same deal this week because you've already received the free EBs for the month-long offer…

        • Ktillot

ok! Thanks for replying so quickly!

          • libo5

unless you have another cvs card with another number

    • BB

I have noticed several times lately that coupons are coming from Reinventing Beauty Magazine. Where is this magazine found?

      • Nancy

The Reinventing Beauty Magazine is put out by CVS and can usually be found near the pharmacy or near the magazine rack. It costs 99 cents and this month it has over $30.00 in coupons in it. If you can't find it ask someone in the store and they'll get you a copy.

        • Wanda297

Thanks BB for asking this question cause I had the same one – Thanks also Nancy for answering it — I'll be looking for the magazine!

    • ScottK

Just on an extra question of curiosity, when did CVS start the extra bucks program?

      • Ashley

It was either 5 or 7 years ago, I don't remember which one.

    • LauraSNixon

My CVS (Knoxville, Tennessee) had all their Zhu Zhu pets items marked down 75% yesterday. This makes for some awesome Christmas gifts. I got 4 playsets & 2 of the pets for $25.00. I saw the same toys at Target today and they would have cost $90+. This did not include the new Kung Zhu toys.

    • Meredith1976

I had a great trip to CVS this morning. I bought the Kotex U tampons and used the $1.50 CVS coupon from Reinventing Beauty mag. and a $1.00 man. coupon that I got in the mail with free samples (you can sign up on the Kotex website). I paid $2.64 ($2.49 + tax). Then, I got $4.99 ECB. I then got 2 Schick disposable razors (3 packs)…they are B1G1 at $8.49, 2 Sobe waters…$.88/each, Softsoap hand soap…on sale for $.99, another Reinventing Beauty magazine…$.99 and a Ghiradelli chocolate…$2.99. I used:
-2 $3 coupons for the razors (found in SS a couple of weekends ago)
-$1.00 coupon on one of the packages which she gave me
      -$.35 coupon on Softsoap
      -B1G1 on the Sobe water
      $1.00 off the chocolate

My total came to $4.82 and I gave her the $4.99. So, I got all of this for $2.64!!! AWESOME!

      • Wanda297

Just wondering. In my flyer page #9 – it says that the Softsoap is on sale for $2.00 — was yours on sale for $.99 in your store or is it some where else in the ad – in a smaller size??

    • Meredith1976

At my CVS they do not have a sign for the ECB on the Biotrue or the CVS pantiliners. They do have signs for all of the other weekly deals. Just wondering if they are still giving it? I am in Columbus, GA. Does anyone know?

      • Organical1

They are month long deals. They are not in the advertisement.

    • Meredith1976

      Here is another GREAT scenario:
Transaction #1: Buy Kotex U tampons
Use (1) $1.50 CVS coupon (Reinventing You magazine)
Use (1) $1.00 man. coupon (online or in mail)
Spend $2.49 plus tax and get back $4.99 ECB
Transaction #2: Buy (2) Lady Speed Sticks, (2) Irish Springs, (2) Softsoap body washes
Use (6) $1.00 CVS coupons (Reinventing You) for the various items
Use (1) $.50 Softsoap coupon (Sundays paper)

Use (1) $.50 Irish Spring coupon (Sundays paper)
Use (1) $.50 Ladys Speed Stick coupon (Sundays paper)
Use 1 $.75 Softsoap body wash coupon (Sundays paper)
      Total $6.75-Use $4.99 ECB for 1st transaction-Spend $1.76 and get back $5 ECB

Transaction #3: Buy (2) Palmolives and 1 12 pack Diet Coke
Use (2) $.25 Palmolive coupons (Sundays paper or printable)
      Total $4.94 + tax—USE $5 ECB
TOTAL you spend is around $4.25 and you get all of the above…AWESOME!
      Total $4.94

      • Sean

Sorry to say that all of the CVS coupons you mentioned (except Kotex) are manufacturer's coupons. So, unfortunately, they will not stack with the coupons from Sunday's paper.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Hold on to your Sobe b1g1 Qs. CVS has Sobe b1g1 sale again just next week

      • Pinkandblackcrazy

I have been playing the game everyday to get the coupons

      • Amt1218

LOVE IT! Thanks…. I was thinking about using them at Target with the Target .50 off coupon.. but now I'll save them. One othere thing.. the last time CVS had this.. they were out of most flavors so I asked for a rainck. They gave me the rainck and it said limit 6. They let me get a total of 12 with my B1G1 coupons… ALL FREE! Not sure if they will do that again. I think it should have been 6 total. Did anyone else get 12?

        • Brooke

Limit 6 means limit 6 FREE. So you buy 6 and get 6 free.

          • Amt1218

AWESOME!!! Holding on to those coupons til next week! Then I will stock up for my trip to FL. in 2 weeks! THANKS!

      • Lori

I believe Safeway has them at $0.69.

    • ToddDu

What am I doing wrong for the $5 off Aveeno? I have gone through and registered (step 2) and nothing happens.

      • Jamaustknuj

I was having the same problem. Check the pop up blocker.

      • Meri Allen

I was already registered but it says update profile to receive offer. I do and it just says Thanks! Profile updated. If they do not give you the coupons why sign up. Any one know how to unregister?

        • ToddDu

It is the pop-up blocker. After that was lifted I was able to print 2

    • Thecouponmom

I am looking for some transactions for a new couponer. I do not have any ECB so looking to see what I can do this week.

      • Reginamarie

You could easily do the Kotex deal and maybe baush & laumb bio true. If you can print coupons for both items you would “make money.” If not they are both free after ECB which would give you “monopoly money” for next transaction or next week.

If your need diapers that is an okay deal.

I personally only do 1 transaction. I pay slightly more out of pocket, but I also accrue lots of ECB; I am willing to pay a little more to avoid the hassle.

Start SMALL, give yourself a few weeks to get the hang of it. Also try to have a back up plan in case the store is out of what you were planning to buy. If possible try to go the first few times WITHOUT KIDS, so you can think. Also wait for the checkout line to be short so you won't get confused with people behind you.

Read through Jenny's CVS getting started guide.

    • Meri Allen

Someone broke into my car and stole my purse a couple of days ago. I had about $8 worth of CVS ECBs in it. Is there any way to replace stolen ECBs and if they do not have my card (it was with me and with my YMCA card – which is where I was) they can not use them right? It makes my blood boil to think they may make more money off their awful behavior.

      • Melfarris1

So sorry to hear that! Good news though…they can’t use your ECB unless they have your CVS card. Log onto CVS.com and you can print out your ECB that you have on file. Hope you have a wonderful day!

      • Mamaberry

well that's horrible!! I am so sorry. We work hard for what we have, and it hurts when someone violates that. But, it makes me wonder what would make someone's life so bad that this is the only way they can provide for themselves or their families…..

On a different note, here are a few things for you:

In short, YES – CVS can re-issue your ECB. They just need some information from you. However, your ECB are linked to your card number. So, I am not sure how this would work if you have to get a new card?

You get two key tags and a large card when you get your Extra Care card, do you have either of those still laying around? Or, did you register your card online? That could help Customer Service get your ECB re-issued too.

Customer service is awesome about this stuff. I have to assume that if they were so desperate to steal from you, they aren't savvy shoppers and won't care 2 licks about the ECB we value so dearly.

My best as you recover!! btw – my van was broken into a few months ago and they stole (of all things) my makeup case (it was a nice case, probably thought it was electronics or something expensive – well it was expensive makeup, but useless to them) and my visor CD case full of my kids CDs. REALLY?? Come on people. My vanity and my kids sanity??

      • Gailbe

Not sure about the ECB's, but I wanted to tell you that I am very sorry that you were the victim of this crime. Hopefully they do not know what to do with an ECB anyway. People who steal are not very creative about saving money they only know how to take things away from other, a very brainless activity. Have a better day today!

        • Meri Allen

Thanks Gailbe and Mamaberry. It is scary to be reminded so boldly that there are some very unlikeable people out there in the world- some in the same parking lot. I do hate that I have to start over with the ECB now but at least Southern Savers has scenarios just for that.

Make up and kids CDs I hope they couldn't do anything with the stuff. I do have my card- it was in the Y with me. I will call them and see what they can do. Ya'll are right they probably would not even know what it is or care.

I will be carrying A LOT LESS stuff in my purse from now on. Hard lesson but one that has been learned. It took all day to make out the report, cancel all my cards, close out two accounts and open two new ones, replace the broken window, and so on. When I could have been using my cash and ECBs. LOL

          • coupondiva02

The same thing happened to me almost a year ago and I'm still discovering things that were in there when I go to use them. Just went to Ace Hardware for the first time since it happened and realized my ace rewards card was taken too. Ugh.

I'm so sorry this happened to you because I know first hand what a horrible feeling it is. I felt so violated. Try to use it in a positive way to evaluate the way you do things and become more safety conscious. Just like you mentioned don't keep so much stuff in your purse. For example, I had mine and my kids ss cards in my wallet from school registeration (boy, I'll never carry those with me again!). Most of us live out of our purse but we should try to limit what we carry because of the risk involved.

I also became more aware of what I was leaving in my car and tried to limit what was left in plain sight. Even down to my kids Nintendo DS, etc. You never know what might entice someone who's desperate.

Also, don't forget to put a fraud alert on your credit and notify the social security administration – just in case they try the identity theft thing. The investigator handling your case can give you details. They're probably just after your cash but many of them will now sell your ID's to make more money. It's better to be pro-active and shut it all down before they get the chance. Sorry again that it happened.

    • Srcjames

ok, i'm not a huge cvs'er but i did start last week so I have $4 ecb still. Does CVS take competetor coupons? I want to do the pampers deal, so i have $4 ecb, a $2 or $3 manufacturer coupon and a $3 target coupon. Anyone have a scenario for me? :) :)

      • Susangoff

Okay, go to this link http://www.neutrogena.com/ and click on the second little box called ” advanced sun protection”. Register and you will get a $2 off 1 coupon.

        Scenario #1
Buy 2 Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunlock (1oz) for 1.99 each
        Use: (2) $2 off q's
Pay nothing and get back $10 in ECB

        Scenaro #2
Buy one pack of pampers for $21.99
        Use: $10 ECB, $4 ECB, and $3 man q
Pay: $5 and get $10 ECB to use another week or on other items you may need like paper towels or toilet paper!

        • mb's mom

Have you done the scenario #1? The ad says prices start at $9.99 for the Neutrogena. Just wondering if you had done it and it worked?

          • mum2pnut

ok how would you get the $10ecb by buying $4 worth of neutrogena?? Maybe I'm lost here..help.

          • Pgarner9

Bought ten items this week, using Southern Savers tips and spend only $2.34. Thanks, SS!

        • Guest

These travel size are hard to find the 2 cvs's near me do not have them

        • amanda

Same here went to two cvs neither carried this size neutrogena. What area are you in???

    • Kgby13

The $1.50 off the Huggies Lil Swimmers prints only $1 off.

    • Joydale72800

Anyone know of the Coke deal to buy 9 get 1 free? I purchased a 20oz. as a filler to use a 5 off 25 Q, I had a Q to get the coke free from mycokerewards. Looking over my receipt, I noticed at the bottom Coke, buy 9 get 1 free. Just curious if it's just 20 oz and if powerades are included in this deal.

      • emad

I have done this quite a few times. There are stickers on SOME of the coolers that have only 20oz cokes/diets shown. Once you buy 9, it prints a coupon on your reciept for a free 20oz coke. .5L Evian, or smartwater. You could just buy a powerade and see if it changes your amount needed at the bottom of the reciept.

      • Queennana0725

I don't know where I got them but I had 2 bogo free coupons for 20oz cokes Buy 1 diet coke and get a caffeine free diet coke. I bought 4 so I am almost 1/2 there.

    • Liltinkb

There was a coupon for the shick razor for 3off! that make's the razor's a way better deal! ;)

    • Whitniehelms

It is true that the Pampers is Limit 2! I just got mine from CVS and the receipt shows that I am eligible for another $10 ECB!

      • shannon

yes yes yes… I did it sunday

    • Summervillegirl

Just came from CVS and the Biotrue eye solution is 7.99 with a 7.99 ECB not 2.99. That's why I couldn't find it at the first CVS I went to. Just an FYI..

    • Janis

The 2.99 ECB for contact solution was not listed in my ad or on the CVS shelf. However, the clerk agreed to test the offer, and the ECB printed (for 2 offers).

    • Summervillegirl

The manager at the second CVS I went to was the one who said it was 7.99 with a 7.99 ECB but they were out of it. She said it doesn't have a tag on the shelf and that was why I didn't see it when I looked. But when I went to a 3rd CVS looking for deals others were out of, I found the Biotrue in a 4oz and it was 5.49 so I guess the ad is right and a 2oz is 2.99 however the three CVS's I went to here do not even carry a 2oz of the Biotrue. Also only one of the 3 had panty liners for 50 cent but they were out. I am new to this and learning a lot each day. I stayed up to 3:30 the other morning reading the whole website. lol.

      • Brooke

I remember first discovering this site and the whole coupon world. Boy, there was a lot to learn!!! I did the same thing by reading the whole website, all of the comments, everything. That is where I learned it all pretty much. I'm a quick study, but I actually continued to learn new things here and there for over 6 months. It's a lot of fun, and it's actually a hobby for myself really. Plus, I save money and MAKE money!

      • llong

remember to ask for rainchecks!! They are good forever!!

    • 3monkeysmom

The magic coupon machine gave me a $1 of U by Kotex coupon today :-)

      • StephanieATL

where do you get the $4 off pampers in store coupon? the coupon printer or a reciept of a prior purchase?

      • grady

        $4 off diapers…sorry

    • Suemh

Check your stores for 75% off medicines. I bought Nyquil Sinus for 1.37 and Theraflu for 1.62-1.00 q. They were on the shelf, not on the clearance shelf. They had lots of stuff tagged 50% and 75% off.

      • Glosmommy

I found lots of cheap cold medicine at my CVS too. It was all differnt brands for kids and adults. GREAT DEALS!!!

    • Caritob40

I am having trouble printing another AVEENO Q, can anybody tell me what I have to do?…TNX

      • AH

check your pop up blocker, it may be blocking the coupon

    • Glosmommy

I made one of the Kodak photo books that are free after ECB's yesterday. They are great but take a while to make. If you plan on making one, be sure you have plenty of time to sit (or stand) and work on loading pics, adding text, etc. The one I made will make a great Christmas gift for my sister from my daughter.

      • macky

can you load the pics online then do the photo book in the store?

    • Rlewis614

Does anyone know if you make the photo book online or in the stores?

      • Rlewis614

Sorry I just realized the comment below

    • Karen

I have a Digirnio Deep Dish Pizza coupon that expires 7/31. Does anyone know a store that sells them?

      • Suemh

I used mine at Publix yesterday.

        • Karen

Did you have to buy a Deep Dish or could you buy any kind of pizza? I've been looking at the Publix in Prattville and can't find it. Thanks

          • Suemh

I bought deep dish, but Publix would probably allow you to buy another Digiorno of the same value. The deep dish is a small pizza for one. It was near the large ones. They are 2/$5 right now.

          • Suemh

I also saw the deep dish in Wal Mart today.

      • Juliea201

I used my free Deep Dish coupon at Ingles today (exp 7/31).

    • grisy

How many pictures does it takes to make the photo book?? … sorry I am a first timer with it!!
      Thanks in advance

      • Erin

My friend did it yesterday and she said it was over 50 pics!

        • Jasonandsugar

How does it work? Do you have to make the book in-store to buy it there? I didn't know if you could do it online somehow… ?

      • Samantha

it would be better if you use 10 photos,1 photo per page.I used 15 photos, but they were smaller if we use 2 photos per page.

    • Dianna

Does anyone know if you can do the photo book online and then go to the store and pick it up? If so, do you still get the ECB?

      • Val

The photo book must be made in the store.

    • Jsj931

Need a little help with the B and L solution. My store does not have a 2.99 or 5.99 size. Has anyone had any luck getting ecbs with other sizes.

    • I officially give up on the hope of ever receiving an email coupon from CVS *pout*

      • Suemh

Me, too. I have considered not shopping for a few weeks to see what happens.

        • tarheelbaby1

As soon as I started shopping there every week, they stopped coming too.

          • Dianne

Well, that's weird. because I get a coupon email every week that I DO shop. If I miss a week, then I don't get another email coupon for about three weeks. I have no idea why I get them and others do not.

      • Dawn

Me too. I haven't seen one in months.

      • Juliea201

Me three. Have not gotten an email OR one of the $/off coupons from the Magic Machine in a LONG time… all I can do now is wait for the ones we used to be able to print off a link.

      • Coupons090

not sure what this means , but i havent shopped there in about 4 months or so and i get them every darn week now . when i was going every week i hardly ever got them .

      • Homeisthebeachnow

This used to happen to me as well. I started signing in the cvs.com to just review how much I spent and they started sending me the $ off coupons. See if that helps

    • Madi

I have a question that may have already been covered. My mother and I both have a CVS card, but I do all the shopping. Do I need to keep all transactions separate? If I buy one item with an ECB, am I to use that only on items being purchased with that card? I'm afraid of getting them mixed up. Maybe it's best to do her shopping at one store and mine at another. Any suggestions?

      • Suemh

Yes, you do have to keep them separate. You could keep the card and ECB's each in separate envelopes, along with any coupons you get from the scanner, as they are also card-specific. You will notice that the ECB's and the scanner coupons will show the last 4 numbers of your card, so if you get them mixed up, they are easily separated. I would make a mark of some sort on one of the cards so that I could easily identify which one was mine.

    • Sarahrhoads

My CVS only let me buy one box of Pampers for the $10 ECB.

      • Nancy

You should be getting 2 boxes with the $10 ECB. Look at the bottom of your receipt where it shows the limit quantities met. It should show one more left on the lower right hand side. Show it to the manager.

        • Aprilc632003

Ok. I just bought 2 pampers and only got $10 EC's. I'm glad you said to check your receipt because it does say 1 more to reach reward. Do you think I need to bring back the diapers to the store or just the receipt? Do you think I could go to a different CVS or only the one where the transaction took place? Thanks so much!

          • You needed to purchased them in 2 separate transactions. You can return one of them and repurchase.

            • Michelle J

Go beyond separate transactions, go in seperate days or seperate stores. They're not letting you get 2 at a time because the promo “says” limit 1, no matter what's printing on the receipt.

    • Kimboone123

Just as an FYI–I had 3 Pantene coupons from one of the Parade magazines a few weeks ago that were $2 off any Pantene styler and/or hairspray. I'm going on a trip and needed some sample/travel sizes. I asked, and my CVS let me use all 3 on 3 trial size Pantene hair sprays since the coupon didn't say excludes trial size. They were priced at $1.29 and they gave me the $2 off so I had overage! Therefore, I purchased the following: 3 hairsprays, 1 Kotex U, 2 CVS pantiliners, and 1 12 pack of diet coke. After coupons, I paid exactly $2 oop. (I didn't use my ECB because it was for $2.99…I'll use it next week.) And, I got back the following ECB's: $4.99 (Kotex), $1 (CVS pantiliners), and $1 (green tag)! In my next transaction, I used the $1 (CVS pantiliners), and $1 (green tag) to purchase 2 of the monlty Biotrue deals (I had 2 $2 off coupons for those and had them adjust one of the ECB's to 98 cents) and then got 2 separate $2.99 ECB. So, for next week, I have the following ECB's: $2.99, $2.99, and $4.99, and I paid a total of $2.30 oop for it all! What a great day of CVSing!

Also, I noticed a TON of children's med's that were 75% off…I'm going to go through my coupons tonight and take them back there tomorrow…I may be able to stock up on some meds at less than $1 each! It never hurts to have a stocked medicine cabinet! If any of you have seen any of these med deals and know what coupons to match them up with, please post! Thanks so much!!!

      • mb's mom

I went to my CVS today and many of the triaminic products were 75% off. Most were between $1.30 and $1.80. There was a triaminic coupon in the sunday paper for $3/2. So I got 2 of the cough strips with the coupon. They also had some adult cough meds for 75% off. I got 2 boxes of nyquil sinus for $1.70something. For all 4 boxes of meds with the triaminic coupon I paid $3.57. AWESOME!

        • slocklair

I bought some of the meds today too. Even without coupons I couldn't resist 75% off.

      • Kimboone123

Ok–I just returned and purchased the following:
Dimetapp Cough and cold day time $1.62 (minus $1 coupon) so .62
Dimetapp Cough and cold night time $1.62 (minus $1 coupon) so .62
        Kid throught pops $1.37
Robitossine cough and cold $1.49 (minus $1 coupon) so .49
        Triaminic chewables $1.74
        Triaminic cough and cold $1.74

I didn't have any coupons for the triaminic, but I still thought they were great deals at 75% off. Plus, all of these have a year to a year and a half expiration date.
I used the above mentioned coupons and then used $4.99 ECB and I paid $1.59 plus .57 tax for a total of $2.16! I'm pretty pleased!

        • Kimboone123

update: I noticed I forgot to give them a $3/2 coupon, so I just went back. The CVS manager is so nice that she just took the coupon and handed me $3! I went assuming I would have to return and repurchase! While there, I purchased 2 more. So, today in total I purchased 8 pkg/bottles of med and only paid 20 cents OOP!!! That includes the tax I paid!! My kids are set for the winter!

I have a ? about catalina Qs. Can I use one from Target at CVS? It says mfr Q on it, but Publix wouldn't take it last week because it said Target on it. I thought the mfr Q with store logos could still be used at any store. My publix said they stopped taking Target Qs because there is no Target in our town (pop 10,000). The closest one is probably not even a 20 min drive from Publix :( BTW it's $3 off Pampers & I have 2.

      • tarheelbaby1

I tried to use a Harris Teeter catalina at my CVS today (it said manufacturer's coupon and the code started with “5”) but the cashier wouldn't take it. She said they don't take coupons from any other store. Maybe it's just my store though.

        • helpmesave

Thanks. Maybe I'll just ask first. I only buy the Pampers when I can get a good deal. Usually buy Luvs and I just got 2-$2.50 Qs for them. Yeah!! Makes them a better per diaper price than the Pampers even with the $3 Q.

        • works@cvs

no even if it is a mnfr coupon, if it says redeemable only it harris teeter, ingles, whatever, if there is another stores logo on it, the mnfr will not pay the store back and cashiers will be put on job notice.

      • We don't have Kroger in south FL, but I used one of theirs at Publix last week and it went thru just fine. As a manuf. Q.

    • csmustard

Ok so I am going to CVS tomorrow to get some Pampers, and I have one of those $4 off $20 coupons. Can I use this and a $2 off Pampers coupon? I know I may have to throw a candy bar or something small in there also to make it right at or a little over $20.

      • Ariel

You can use both b/c the $ oof $20 is a CVS coupon and the $2 Pampers is a manufactures coupon. Love being able to stack coupons for a better discount!

      • Val

The diapers are $21.99 so hand them over the $4 off 20 first, then your pampers coupon and no filler necessary :)

    • Juliea201

Wow, CVS has seen more out of pocket from me this week than ever, LOL! I used my last ECBs on a purchase for something I needed but didn't have on hand so I was back at 0 this week. BUT I got a deal on one of my normally $35 prescrips and got it for $5! So I didn't feel TOO bad abt this…

      Bought
      2 Arm & Hammer Detergeants – 2/$6

      -$1/2 Arm & Hammer

Total w/ tax: $6.65 and got $2 ECB

      Bought:
1 Pampers Swaddlers Newborn $21.99 (neighbor just had twins; this will be gifted)

      -$2 off Pampers diapers
      -$2 ECB

Total w/ tax: $20.02 and got $10 ECB

I did also get a $1 off U by Kotex from the magic coupon machine so I may go back and use that plus get some other goodies!

    • ninodeflor

Biotrue and Degree Clinical printables not working tonight.

    • Beckyfulbright

Hi, new to this way of shopping and have a question…How do you know before you go what items have ECB's ? What am I missing ?

      • Nancy

You can go to your local CVS and grab their weekly circular which will show you all the ECB's for that week. You can also look here at Jenny's CVS weekly report and just look at the list at the top of her post.

      • Brooke

Check here every Saturday night for the drugstores. Jenny has everything you need to know.

    • Jimandrachael10

I printed the coupons for the Speed stick and the colgate. I used at one store and asked at another and they both wouldn't use them saying they were fraud. They said there was no water mark or wording around the edge. Did anyone else have this problem? How can I know for sure?

      • Queennana0725

Did you inadvertently cut off the edges of the coupon when you cut it out from the copy paper??

        • Jimandrachael10

There was just a dotted edge on these coupons… does that mean they are fake?

          • Val

They are not fake. You will find several other coupons that look like this also. The coupons are linked to the Colgate-Palmolive website and are part of the Smile Talk campaign. I don't think someone went through all the trouble of hacking into the Colgate website and then posting the coupons on there so that people could save 75cents off a deodorant.

            • kris

I was just on the Colgate-Palmolive website and the $1.50 are no longer being honored by the company due to people reproducing them.

      • ASmith

I had the same issue with Kroger and the soft soap coupon. They come from the same website. I had considered contacting the company and letting them know. They actually ended up giving me the money off but they didn't even use the coupon because they refused to believe they weren't fraudulent

      • works@cvs

we get so many bogus coupons a day that is makes it really difficult when honest people try to use them. anytime we ( as someone who wokds at cvs) take a fake coupon, we get in trouble. we get written up and our job gets put on the line., they didnt mean offense, just looking out for their job. and all legit coupons printed have a line around them stating the day and time it was printed, what it is for, when it expires and the zip code. any coupon that doesnt have that wont be accepted

    • Gettobobs

Quickie…… How many times can you receive coupons from the CVS card scanner…daily, weekly, monthly?? I scanned mine yesterday and got two that I wont ever use. When should I be able to scan it again for new coupons? I was hoping for the $4 off Pampers as some say they got…boo.

      • Kgriffis

i've tried going several times in one week. i just get the same coupons i got the day before. i saw a $4 off pampers coupon, but it printed at the bottom of my receipt and the one i had already expired. :(

        • Brooke

You can do it multiple times in one shot, but you will not always be guaranteed more coupons. I have received different coupons twice back to back before it then it told me “no more coupons available for the day”. You can try and get coupons every day, of course we never know what they'll be, sometimes good and sometimes not so much.

      • You can scan everyday. It also tracks your purchases and if you have never purchased diapers there, it will not give you the Pampers Q.

      • june

The most coupon scans I've done at one time is 3. On the forth scan it says to come back tomorrow for more coupons. (I always scan until I get that screen) Usually the second scan is the last, though.

      • works@cvs

usually twice a week. they update and renew the coupons once a week, and they are always changing. they usually are for cvs brand items. and if someone got the $4.50 of the big box of pampers, and you want to try to get one, go to a cvs and scan your card that day, becasue the coupons dont stay around long.

    • Jasonandsugar

Does anyone know if the $3/2 Sundown products will work with the kids Marvel vitamins? I didn't know if the same company makes them?

      • works@cvs

        no they wont.

    • Quick trip to CVS for the Huggies Lil Swimmers we desperately needed.

Bought 2 Huggies Lil Swimmers $15.98
      Used 2 $1 off coupons $13.98
Used $2 off Huggies Lil Swimmers CVS coupon that printed on a receipt two weeks ago $11.98
      Used $8.98 ECB's
Paid $4.12 with tax, got $3 ECB

Not too shabby for 2 packs of Lil Swimmers!

    • riggie

When can you find out what items are month long deals ?

    • Keren

The Aveeno Baby diaper creme is included in the Aveeno deal as well. It’s $4.99 for the current ad and I found a $1 off coupon here:
      http://news.aveeno.com/servlet/website/ResponseForm?HOLLghE7ikUT_7OLLgh_8785_.26tHpsEnsHthNk_JhggpLFRHohhDJht

      • Keren

Oops! It's actually $3.99 in this ad, not $4.99 like I thought. – and the baby skin care lotions are included too!

        • Alexis

Thanks! I LOVE the Aveeno baby lotion.

    • Southernsweet_heart

Great CVS trip today here’s what I got(I did 2 separate transactions):
      Trans. 1
      1 Dove 2pk soap 3.00
      1 Kotex U Tampons 4.99
      3 Candy Bars(needed for Filler) 1.50
      Used:
      6 ECB
      1.50 Kotex U CVS Q
      1.00 Kotex Manf. Q
      1.00 ANY dove
Total: 0.74!!! (the my 6 ECB was a 4.00 and 2.00 the cashier put the 2.00 in as 1.99 I don’t know why!)
      ECB earned 5.99

      Trans. 2
1 E.P.T 2 count (Didn’t need this for this month but we are “trying” so I wanted to have them on hand)
      Used:
      6.99 ECB
      5.00 of any E.P.T
      Total: 2.76!!!
PLUS I get to do the mail-in-offer for the E.P.T (free keepsake gift when you purchase the product)

So I spent 3.50 total that’s amazing to me!!! I’m a little sad that I have NO ECB left for next week but hopefully they’ll have some good deals and I can make up for it!

      • works@cvs

i work at cvs and the reason the cashier put your coupon is as 1.99 instead of 2 is becuase our fraud protection system will only let us use a coupon for the value of the object and wont let us go over because the coupons won't pay the tax on the purchase.

    • Tjvsmom

When I went into CVS today to get the panty liners the sign on them said limit 1 per household. They didn't have any so I didn't get any this trip, but I did this deal last week one time. Is this really limit 3 or just limit 1 ????
      Thanks!

      • Annie

it's really 3 limit. I've done it twice and am waiting form them to restock so I can go again :)

    • Couponmutti

Bio true campaign for coupon is over

    • Moonlightmeadows

I reached my limit on Biotrue and CVS pantiliners…but only bought one Biotrue and two pantiliners. :(

Anyone who did the Try it Free with the Shick Hydro Razor at CVS watch your rebate I got mine today and they sent me 1.02 which was what my receipt showed I saved on it that week not the 8.97 that I actually spent. Called them and after a very lenghtly call they are going to send the balance in 30 days. So ladies if yours is incorrect call them at 1 888 284-8073.

      • Sherylyn4

      • Margaret

would you mind sharing where you found the coupon? I'm not seeing it on the arm and hammer site….only one that pops up for me as $1/1 detergent is power gel detergent.

    • Beth

We have four CVS's fairly close our house and all are so good about taking coupons. I used the $3 off Sundown vitamins yesterday even though I only technically paid for one (on bogo) I brought the other $1 off coupon with me just in case but the csr didn't even flinch. I am very pro-CVS. They have saved me so much money! Ths last trip I paid $5.28 for a $45 order and got $4 in ecb back. I love it!

The schick B1G1 razors have $1 off coupons on them. Look for the ones priced around $7.
