So which Pampers deal seem better (the current week vs next week)?

      • DonnaTN

I would say next weeks. You would actually get a box and more diapers along with more ecbs than this weeks sale is for a pack and only $3 ecbs. Although I'm thinking this weeks sale is a box as well, isn't it?? Hm…well if that is the case I would go with next weeks anyways. IMO

    • guest

I am thinking about one of those Netbooks. Does anyone with one have an review on it?

      • I read a comment on iheartcvs that was not a good review. It seems the operating system is not compatible with a lot of things.

      • Bryarsmom

I've got a little 10 in. Dell, Windows XP. This thing is fabulous! I take it everyhwere-just throw it in my purse. Very nice traveling too-even in my car driving to Florida-great reception, using my VZ aircard.

The screen is small, but you adjust quickly to it. And this baby prints all my Q's just fine. I have it hooked up to my HP 4480 when at home. I've got it at the office with me right now-use it daily. Good investment for a 2nd pc-price is nice too.

      • Wewabraswell

My daughter bought a Dell Mini and decided she'd rather have the Apple, so she's selling it. It's purple (cool color) and in perfect shape. Let me know if you want it.

        • guest

How much do Dell Minis run? I was thinking of buying something small but want to do it cheapest possible

      • guest

Thanks everyone. I wanted it just for coupons and maybe school work when I am on the road. I am going to see what their return policy on it is.

    • Caity

Making my own shopping list & printing out my coupons I noticed two typos. The Trident Layers Gum coupon is really $1/2 – not the .50/2, but the note underneath it is correct- the two packs are free after the $1/2 coupon! :-) Also, the $2 off Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Products coupon is really $2/2.
Both little mistakes for how late at night this got posted for us! Thanks so much for all you do Jenny! You have no idea what a blessing you have been to me and my husband!

      • Thanks! I'll fix them now. They all blend together that late :)

      • carrie

I also noticed that the $3/2 Sundown Vits coupon states that the campaign is over.

    • di

wow i know its cvs but i'm noticing alot of cvs brands now with ecbs with them………..

    • ScottK

I just got a $4 off $20 email, so that makes any week sweeter. Just get the basic things that are really good deals/free and add gatorade/sobe and I pay nothing..nice!

    • Gacouponguy

I'm confused…where does the $5 ECB from Transaction #1 come from?

      • Deshaine

that's what she had left over, if you don't already have ECB… that's what you will be OOP. HTH.

        • Ahh….Thanks SUEMH & Deshaine…finally figured out how to log in with Facebook too… :-)

      • She already had it from a prior week.

    • sealey5

Hey guys! I got a question, I should know but I need to find out for sure so help me out….on the B1G1 Wisk Detergent, can I use (2) $3 off q's? Thanks alot for the help :)

      • Jen

My paper only had the $1 off Wisk coupon.

        • sealey5

Wow! Mine had $3 off each one! I had 11 q's and ended up getting 11 Wisk for….you guessed it….$11! I think that's a really good deal, I am stocked up for a good while! :) (Well, a little while anyways, I have 3 kids so probably not as long as I think, lol)

      • Kristen

yes u can use one on each

      • Work4mals

        yes

      • Fishnfools97

Sometimes I have to have them scan my coupons before they scan my card because after it takes off the free one, then the computer won't let them use 2 q's. May not happen to you, but it makes the clerks crazy when they have to think!

        • Amy J.

Thanks for the tip!!! I've had probs in the past w/ their b1g1 sales like that and haven't been able to use both Q's for both items. Sweet! Thanks again!!!

      • Kspeacher

I bought 4 botltes and used 4 coupons today!

    • Atellingto

prevacid $6/1 MQ is no longer available

    • Coupongwen

If I were shopping at CVS for the first time what should I buy to get started CVSing?

      • momof3

I would follow Jenny's transactions…That's what I did…You'll have the initial output for whatever the EBs should be for that week, but that will start you off…For a while, I just did her transactions…Now, I venture out to my own! :)

      • Ida

IMO, I would do the Hydro razor, IF you have the $5/1 coupon. At my cvs this week on the hydro razors they still had the peelies b1 hydro razor get 1 free hydro shaving cream. I don't see much in this ad (in the ecbs) that is a deal, for me anyways. Other than the razor and shaving cream I might buy the red baron pizza because I have a $2/1 coupon, the lindsey olives because I have a $1/1 coupon and maybe the sobe if I can win a b1g1 coupon. That will be it for me this week at cvs anyway, Rite Aid looks like a better ad to me especially if you have the $4/1 bio true coupon (found at walmart a couple of weeks ago) I love Rite Aid.

      • That would depend on what coupons you have. If I had no coupons, I think that I would buy the energy chews and the stride first. Pay 2.98 and get back 2.98 ECBs. Then if had had the Schick coupon I would buy the razor, use the 2.98 ECBs and the $5 coupon, and pay 99¢ and get back 4.00 ECBs. I would have paid 3.97 out of pocket and have $4 ECBs left for next week. Remember that you usually have to pay a little out of pocket the first week and that you always have to pay the tax.

      • carrie

I would concentrate on the deals you could really use or donate. Remember that you will still have to pay tax so you should figure that into the cost of whatever item. For example: earlier this spring I bought a bunch of the razors (like the one mentioned for this week) for “free”. Then I remembered that I'm still having to pay tax on the original cost of the razor (sales tax is 7% where I live) – $.70. I have now stopped getting these deals and instead wait until the cheaper razors (4+ in a pack) are “free”. Since they cost less to begin with, I pay less tax and the tax is then divided by the number of razors in the package. For example, the 4 pack of cheaper razors are $4 (can't remember for sure), I'm paying $.28 total and $.07 per razor instead of the $.70 for the one razor in the ad this week. All this to say, do only the deals that you would actually use the products or donate them because you will still have to pay tax.

Also, another thing I do that seems to be different than most couponer on this sisite is I do everything in one transaction and save my ECBs for my next trip. This saves time and makes it easier (for me) and I think the money all comes out the same in the end whether you do multiple transactions to make your OOP (out-of-pocket) low this week or do one transaction, save ECBs and make your OOP low next week.

    • Melanieplynch

What happens when you return an item to CVS that you earned ECBs on? I've never had to do it before, but now I do. Not sure how they handle that…

      • Works4mals

There has been an occassion or two when I've had to take something back, but I've always been able to keep the bucks that I've earned.

        • Melanieplynch

Thank you! I certainly don't intend to abuse the system in any way, but I've decided I really don't need this item. I'll try returning it and see what happens. If they end up revoking my ECBs, then I'm totally fine with that.

          • Phillips

They typically will give you a CVS gift card to reimburse the amount you spent on that transaction with coupons or ECBs. They should give you some cash back and a gift card for the coupons or ECBs. I've had to do an exchange and a return before and that's how they handled it in my store.

    • Susan

My husband uses a TON of Nature Made fish oil, so it's a good week for me. :)

Does anyone know where I might be able to find overnight diapers? I think Huggies makes them. I think my little one needs them now and Harris Teeter didn't have them. Sales normally exclude them right?

      • Rebecca

I always used to find overnights at Ingles. It's been over a year since my daughter was in diapers, though. They're in a purple pack, or at least they were. Good luck!

      • Rebecca

Ingles includes them in their sales. Their best deal used to be $8.88 for the “jumbo” (small size) pack.

      • catherine

Last time I did a CVS huggies deal, I bought overnights. They were included and I even had a coupon.

    • kim

Is anyone else having problems to get their lists to print correctly since the website change? Please help Jenny!!!!! No matter what I do, I am getting the Southern Saver buttons in the middle of the 4th page and all the other pages after that are blank. I have done the print preview and printed straight and clicked on the print shopping list – nothing is working

      • Can you tell me what web browser and release version you are using (you'll see this usually under the help tab at the top of your screen) We have tested everything with numerous browsers and it is all working but will try to figure it out!

      • carrie

Once you click on “create list”, right click, select “select all”, right click again, select “copy”, open a word document, right click, select “paste” and then your list will appear. Then you are able to manipulate the list anyway you want. I do this and set my word document to narrow margins, 3 columns, Century Gothic font with a 9 font size and it enables me to get my list all on one page. I then delete any wording I don't need and get everything off of bold (to save ink). Maybe that will help.

    • Bholmes75

haha Yes sobe b1g1 again. I've been collecting have about 20 plus coupons lol

      • AT

Me Too! I am so excited! Isnt it crazy what us couponers get excited about. LOL

      • Rebecca

OK, I can't play the game on my mac. Any tips on how to “win” on my laptop? I haven't even tried, because I hardly ever use it (unless I have to). I'm not going to fool w/ it if it's not worth my time. TIA!

        • Phillips

I have to use 'Safari' as my web browser (at least to print the coupons out). I haven't had a problem in Firefox playing the game though – just can't print from Firefox. It also probably depends on what Mac OS you have – maybe an older version doesn't work. I have OS 10.5 on mine (10.6.4 is the newest). Hope this helps!

        • OneLuckyGal

          Try this: http://www.sobe.com/coupon/

It isn’t currently working for me but that might be because I’ve already printed my limit and it hasn’t reset.

And I’ve won everytime I’ve played so far! Give the game a shot if the link isn’t working:)

    • Clairebeautiful

Anyone else having trouble with the Huggies Q link?

    • Brandiemarie

There were $10/1 42 ct peelies on the Prevacid at CVS.

I have 1 left in my binder.

I've noticed that on other blogs everywhere that no one mentions this.

So if you're a peelie puller then check your peelies.

You may have some and that makes a real decent deal on prevacid.

      • “Peelie puller”? Are you talking about people who pull peelies off of items that they are not yet buying? If so, that is just not right! “Peelie-pullers” do not deserve to get good deals at other consumers' expense. I may have been the one to come along and have to buy that product (out of need) that someone else had just pulled the coupon off of to save for a better deal.

        • Allie

          Yes I agree with you!

          • carrie

            As do I.

            • 8tina

Peelies are to sell the specific box that is on the shelf. In July, Cascade put peelies on their older products because they had a new box design. The peelies were to sell the older boxes only!

            • Brooke

Thanks ya’ll for reminding me why I’m so glad I’m not a man… if I had to put up with this chatter all the time, jeeez louise. Take one, leave one whatever, just don’t clear the whole shelf of them.

            • amiee

I sure got a good laugh reading about 50 posts on peelie stealing!!!

            • wendyc33

stealing is not the word.. Stealing would be to take that product and put it in my purse and not pay for it.. Taking that peelie and using it one day is not stealing. and no one on this site can tell me it is.

          • Valerie

I like to consider myself an ethical coupon user, but I don't understand this “peelie” debate.

Why is it okay to pull 1 or 2 tearpad coupons or take 1 or 2 blinkies and use them on a different date– but not okay to pull 1 or 2 peelies from a product and use them when they are on sale?

            • wendyc33

that is correct valerie. because they are for the people to take one. I myself do not go around and just take all the peelies off of products. I am not greedy like some of them, but If I use that product, and it is on the product, then by all means take the peelie and use it., and if anyone does not do that, thats your decision, but dont tell me or other people that they are doing something wrong. Thats just not right. quit judging others, and getting into other peoples business., and post something on here like a deal to help others. Thank You…..

            • Bamsler

Peelies are stuck to packages, which means when you purchasethat product you get that peelie. Stealing peelies messes up that package the majority of the time. You guys are trying to justify what you are doing..Is it right to cut off the box top for education too?

            • Guest

Items that have peelies on them are to be used that day. They are not to be taken and saved for a later date. In most case if you check item peelies are used to be inventory or to get you try item at the current price. We are seeing less peelies because many people have been dishonest and taking them and used them the wrong way.

If your an ethical coupon user than you wouldn’t take peelies without buying the product.

I look at this it like would you lie on how many hour you worked at a job?

            • wendyc33

First of all why would anyone take the peelies and not use it to buy the product. That doesnt make sense to me. I take 1 or 2 to use for me to save money, and buy that product. And I do buy the product. Please just stop trying to tell people on here what to do. This is not your concern, nor anyone else concern. If I so happen to get in trouble one day, then maybe I would know then that its wrong, but its up to me, myself, and I to figure that out……………….

        • Wendyc33

please please please stop coming on this board and accusing people of stealing? it is ridicolous to say that is stealing. It is on the product for people to take one to use. That is why the coupon is on the product. If you think its stealing then by all means dont take one., but I take one when I see them, because i use that product. Maybe not right then, but I use them. It is not a crime to take a peelie off a product. I will not go to jail for it, and i dare anyone to accuse me of it when I do that. As a courtesy sometimes If I end up not using the peelie or a coupon, then I tend to leave one for a person to get the deal, esp. If it is expiring soon. The way I see it for you Sue is your jealous someone else got one and you did not. Sorry to come on here and vent like this, but I hate the coupon police.

          • Igot5ltlboyz

I took a coupon class, and our instructor BEGGED us not to pull peelies off of products unless we were actually purchasing that particular product then. She said they were placed there as a special promotion for that item and were intended as a bonus to whoever purchased that item at that time. So, I don't pull peelies unless I'm buying the item at that time. As to blinkies and tear pads, she also asked us to “take 2 and walk away”. She said if a blinkie or tear pad was emptied by just one or 2, that dozens of people would miss out. Makes sense. Just curious as to where Ms. Jenny stands on this issue?

            • Click on “Learn To Coupon” at the top of the page. Then look on the right-hand side of that page. She is very clear.

            • wendyc33

Again that is her opinion, and obviously yours. but this is mine. i admit to everyone I take peelies… Now what. If you dont and jenny on this site dont, then that is just fine, but leave me alone about it, and others on here. I dont agree, but thats ok. Just dont gripe when others say things about taking a peelie. End of subject.

            • Rebecca

I'm reading the “peelie debate”, and I just want to insert a HUGE eye-roll. Do I take peelies… not usually. Have I ever done it… yep. Do I think it's a big deal or a crime… nope. Do I clear the peelies off of all the products when I see a good one… absolutely not. It's one of those “everything in moderation” things. I am also a coupon fairy sometimes, too, so who cares? Take one sometimes, leave one sometimes, people! The distributors put those things on the product so that you'll buy it. Who cares when it gets used!?

            • Guest

it is consider stealing in some state. Wal-mart is big against it by the way. Company care when it get used. In the end its hurt all coupons users. The companies put the peelies on the item to move current inventory. I used to put them on for a company but they have stopped using them as people where not buying the items they was ment for or using them on the date they was put on item.

            • Guest

Please don't take peelie is is not the right thing to do. it like telling a kid it ok to steal? So How do I tell my 4 year old when he sees you taking peelies that is ok to steal now? As many people have said this is not a site to come to brag about taking peelie off items without buying.

In the end it hurts all the coupons users.

            • wendyc33

You and sue and other people on this site cannot tell me not to take a peelie or coupon. Again I will say this I DO buy the product that I take the peelie from. maybe not at that moment, but I do. And I dont feel bad about it when Im actually using the peelie I took. I dont go around just taking off all the peelies so no one can get one of them to use. Im not greedy about it by no means, nor do i consider myself a thief.

            • wendyc33

I hit the like button by mistake. lol. But sue I have read Jenny's learn to coupon on this site, and all she said about peelies was to take one if you use that product., and that is when I take one. So she doesnt say to never take peelies. Anyway onto the deals the revlon super lustrous lipstick is 5.99 online but I believe in store it is 7.99. The website has a 25% off beauty prices going on online only, so the price would be different at the store., but if you use the 2.00/1 coupon you pay the 5.99 price anyway.

            • Actually, Jenny said to take the peelie “only if you buy the product”. I guess your understanding of that differs from mine. So be it. She also covered the “peelie” issue extensively on her video, which can also be accessed from that page. I can only hope that if you or someone else takes a peelie from a product that I buy, I hope you take the plastic backing also. That way I'll never know. Now, I have no idea what you are talking about concerning the Revlon. And, I have also hit the like button by mistake.

            • MRF

I find it hard to believe that you would expend so much energy on the topic of peelie pulling! Are you aware that our country has been at war for going on 10 and a half years now? Do you know that 4417 American soldiers have lost their lives? Have you heard that the national unemployment rate is 9.6%? Families everywhere are struggling to keep their homes and trying to do whatever they can to provide for their family. I know this because I am one of those people. I come to this wonderful website to find the best deals, the best way to stretch every dollar as far as I can so that my kids can have what they need while my husband is out of work. I read the comments to find extra deals that have been posted, this is not a place for such ridiculous debates. Go waste your time elsewhere. Who made you the judge and jury for everyone else. Conduct yourself how you see fit and leave everyone else to decide for themselves. Get a hobby or better yet, watch CNN for an hour!

Thank you Jenny for all you do to help all of us. You are a blessing.

            • First of all, I reply to one post at about 10:00 this morning. Since then there have been numerous posts, both agreeing and disagreeing with me. So, I ask you, Why are you attacking me for stating my opinion. I did not accuse anyone of stealing, as one of the posters said. I simply stated my opinion, and how to find Jenny's opinion on this site. But I would like to answer your questions.
              1) I am aware that this country has been at war for 7 and a half years, since March 2003. 2) I am aware that over 4400 troops have lost their lives defending my freedom to state my opinion. 3) I am aware that the unemployment rate is very high, in my state it is even higher than 9.6% national average. I am one of them. 4) I, too, come to this site to find ways to help feed my family and make ends meet. 5) I also read the comments to find more deals. 6) As I stated in an earlier post, I have to live with what I do. Well, so does everyone else. I do not pretend to be judge and jury. 7) This may not be the place for this debate, but I'll bet a lot of people have gotten a kick out of reading it today. (lol)

I feel that your attack was mean and uncalled for. You do not know me, or anything about my personal situation. I am just like everyone else who comes to this site. I'm trying to feed my family and provide for them as best I can. And I try to follow the “rules” as closely as possible.

            • Grouch Patrol

The same could be said for you…if you don't like what is being said, go watch CNN or get a hobby or just find something nice to say!

            • Ranger

Sounds like you may be watching to much tv. Maybe you need a part-time job or something instead of trying to be a mediator.

            • ireneY

We love and appreciate Jenny as you do, but it is, after all, one woman's opinion.

            • Valerie

Aren't peelies and blinkies promotional items too? Aren't they put there so, that when someone is trying to decide between Haagen Daas and Breyers they grab the one with the coupon??? Why is it any different when the coupon is stuck to the product…

I'm not a peelie puller by the way :) because I've always read here that it was wrong, but I've never understood why… and I'm beginning to change my mind being that no one can legitimately tell me the difference between these in-store coupons.

            • Hubbardca

Jenny says the same thing in her instructional videos. I believe that taking other people's peelies is wrong.

          • guest

The reason it is wrong is when you buy the product, you are not getting the attached coupon.

          • Guest

In some states it is consider stealing. I lived in a state where people where charged by a major company for taking the peelie off products without buying them. if you notice we have less peelie on items today than we had last year too.

          • bam

Our Albertsons now has a sign up saying that they will prosecute now if you are caught STEALING peelies. Looks like you are wrong!!!

            • wendyc33

omg can u please take a picture of it and send it to me, or post it on this site ok. Because they would not put in on the box so easily if this was a crime…
So many people on here or worried about this, and need to get a life. there are more things in this world going on that concerns me than someone taking a peelie. Just saying.

            • pfsinnh

lol! My husband also thinks we’re insane for arguing about the peelies. In fact when I mad him mad this morning he had the nerve to call me a Peelie Puller just to push my buttons!

            • Bamsler

got to truecouponing.com..they even have it posted there.

        • ireneY

Sue, what's the difference between taking a peelie and a tearpad or blinkie? They are all “attached” to the store. There's plenty of empty blinkie machines and empty tearpads out there. A little bit of adhesive seems to make some righteous. The SS gathered here all seem to be ethical and considerate couponers. Glass houses…

          • I see a very big difference. If a coupon is a peelie, it is intended for use with that exact product, whereas a blinkie or tearpad is there for you to take one or two to use whenever you see fit. This is what Jenny says on this site's “Learn To Coupon” page:

            “Attached to Products You Purchase

(sometimes called “peelies” – but never here…) Take only if you purchase the product!”.

            • Valerie

I still do not understand the difference between taking a peelie and taking a tear pad. Why can you use a blinkie whenever you see fit, but not a peelie? There has been a time when I wanted to purchase pillsbury cookies “out of need” and all the blinkies were gone. A few weeks at Publix I had 3, 2 liters of coke in my basket, should have been able to get some free Snyder's pretzels, but the tear pad was empty! I opted for generic pretzels instead. What's the difference?

            • A peelie is intended to be used when you buy that particular package that it is attached to at that time. It is kinda like when you buy a razor that has a free can of shave gel in it. You can not get the shave gel without buying the razor. You would not take the gel out and say “I'll buy the razor later when it is on sale.” The peelie and the shave gel are there as incentives to get you to buy that product at that time, or, as some people look at it, as a bonus for buying it. I know that this is a far-fetched example, but I feel the outcomme is the same.

If my views on this offend anyone, that is not my intention. I try to be very ethical about my coupon use because I am the one who has to look at myself in the mirror. We all must do what we think is right.

            • ireneY

You nailed it, Sue — THINK for yourself. Please redirect your soapbox rants for the people selling those peelies on fleabay. We're not the offenders.

          • Sandy

            A story…

I have two young children at home so, my husband has been doing the grocery shopping after work. I ALWAYS remind him to grab any coupon books up front or tear pads, etc. but he always forgets.

Well, Monday when he got home he tells me I'll be proud of him and hands me the receipt, a yellow Publix flyer, some tearpads, and peelies!!! I gasp, ignore the fact that he remembered and tell him, “you can't take peelies!” His proud face turned sad, and he asked me why not? I said, “because people say so!” I couldn't give him a better reason than that.

The peelie he took came from a taco box kit. It doesn't expire until 2012, and being that we eat tacos every week, it will definitely be used. My husband… the Peelie Puller!! tsk, tsk :).

            • pfsinnh

Wow! This is turning out to be quite the debate. :) Good arguments on BOTH sides, but let me tell you MY story.

Went to the store to purchase deodorant and saw a deodorant box with a sticker on it that said “$15 in Savings Inside!” Great!! So I purchased the box. The $15 in future savings would off-set the lofty $10.00 price tag on the clinical strength deodorant, right? Wrong!

I got in the car and opened the box and…nothing! Someone had actually taken the coupon book out of the box!

So if all shelved products are “part of the store and available to the public”, then where is the line drawn?

If I may play devil's advocate…Let's say someone picks up an item and walks towards the checkout and the peelie accidentally falls off the box and the person doesn't know it. What would you do? That's right, you would pick it up and say, “Hey! You dropped your coupon!” because you are a saver and you know how important it is to save money.

Now let's say that you followed the same person to the checkout and she forgot to pick up her prescription in the back of the store. She leaves the product up front on the register and is gone for a while. Meanwhile, you see another customer walk up to the product and is delighted to see a $2.00 off peelie on it. She says to her friend, “Hey! Sweet! A peelie!” and takes it off the box after she pays for her stuff and walks out into the parking lot.

What would you do? Wouldn't you say, “Hey! That peelie belongs to another customer!” How would you feel if she said, “No way. That box was just on the register, and no one was buying it…and I'm a consumer…so it's my right to take it…and by the way, mind your own business.”

I bet you'd be pissed…and you'd feel bad for that other customer.

People who take peelies are not committing a crime, and they are not evil, but I believe that the peelie IS intended by the manufacturer to be a part of the “purchasing experience” of the product. Otherwise, the peelie wouldn't BE on the box. It would be a blinkie or a tear pad…that's the whole point of it being a peelie in the first place.

            • ASage

All I can say is you have to be kidding me! I can't believe all this over a possible $1 or so at most (take the deodorant back for goodness sake and get another if it is that important). I say let your conscious by your guide and stop worrying so much about what isn't bothering someone else.

            • pfsinnh

You're missing my point. I DID return the box of deodorant and told them someone had taken the coupons out of it. I wasn't expecting them to replace it. I only reported it to them so they could check the boxes to make sure other packages hadn't been tampered with.

The manager on duty insisted that I take another box. So let me ask you a question. Who “eats” that box of deodorant I returned? The store can't put it back on their shelf and sell it, legally. It was removed from the store and opened by a consumer. Returned item, right? Who pays for that?

Tampered items come right out of the store's bottom line, and the cost gets passed right on down to you and me. It ultimately becomes so much more than that “$1 savings”, as you put it. I know that probably doesn't “bother” anybody as you say, but that's alright because ignorance is bliss. So we should just ignore it from now on, right?

By the way, it's not conscious, it's conscience. I have one.

            • pfsinnh

Ugh! I regret that last line. It was mean and I don’t want to be mean. Enough venom spitting for me. Let’s please get back to saving money and putting some scenarios together!

            • pfsinnh

Ugh! I regret that last line. It was mean and I don’t want to be mean. Enough venom spitting for me. Let’s please get back to saving money and putting some scenarios together!

          • Simply2hope

I agree with Suemh and so does Jenny the person that does Southern Savers Website. I didn't realize it was wrong until she explained it to us at one of her meetings.

        • mlm

Curious at your “other consumers' expense”. Is there a hidden surcharge on items that a consumer gets charged if the product maker has attatched a peelie to it???? I did not think so. Therefore there is no “other consumers expense”.

          • Maybe “at other consumers' expense” was not the right phrase. What I meant was:
If I have to buy the product because I need it and someone has taken a peelie off of that product, then that is at my expense because I do not get to use the coupon that was intended for that product. Someone else will use it later.

        • Melcooke

          Call me a Peelie Puller!

        • june

Peelie pulling is like taking the shoe laces out of a pair of shoes at the store. Or taking the freebies attatched to products. You can't get the freebie (ie coupon) unless you buy the product.

        • ireneY

For heaven sakes, pick up the box next to it that didn't have a peelie in the first place and you won't feel so deprived!

        • I think that my initial response started this thread, however, I also think that if I had not commented, someone else would have. I have just one question for everyone who thinks that taking peelies is okay. When you are about to pull the coupon off of the product, do you look around to see if anyone is looking?

I wonder if the Scott paper towel deal is for the select a size kind. I LOVE those kind. Viva is my fave brand, but if I can get select a size Scott, it'll be fine.

      • Dianne

I went tonight in Dallas, GA. They have the select a size!

    • Gail R

The coupon machine at CVS printed out a $4 off when you buy Huggies Diapers and Huggies Wipes coupon this week. This can be combined with the Huggies deal for even more savings.

      • Sandy

        Awesome :)

      • lindak

I got the same coupon, I am just wondering do I have to buy diapers and wipes, or just one.

        • Melissa

Wel if it say diapers AND wipes of course you have to buy both

        • artlady

seems like it means you should buy both to me…. I got the same one. It says when you buy Huggies Diapers and Huggies Wipes….. if it meant we could buy either then it probably would have said “when you buy Huggies Diapers OR Huggies Wipes”. But I dunno!

    • pfsinnh

Hi everybody! I haven't done CVS in MONTHS! Can someone please tell me what the “Put Clean in Your Cart” booklet is? TIA

      • wendyc33

This is a coupon booklet that has some cleaning coupons in them. I found mine at publix, but they maybe somewhere else.

        • pfsinnh

          Thank you!

    • Jhardigree

I am looking at the Scott Mega Roll Paper Towel deal for this weekend and tried to print the $1.00 coupon, but the coupon is good for toilet paper, not paper towels. Is anyone else having this same problem? Thanks!

      • Kspeacher

Yes I had that problem but found a coupon from last weeks paper for $1 off the paper towels… I had already cut it out so I don’t know which publication it was in.

    • Greersw

when you have a b1g1 coupon do they cancel each other out to become free

      • Relaxwithdiane

        yes they do!!

        • Greersw

i asked about the b1g1 coupon and thanks relaxwithdiane for answering. I am fairly new and still figuring out things so it only cancels each other if you have the coupon not if it is advertised b1g1, thanks in advance

          • Valeriems1

It has to be on sale B1G1 and you have to have a coupon for B1G1, then you would get two for free

            • Ebunnie63

if item not on sale, b1g1.. can u buy 2 items and use 2 b1g1 manfger coupons and zero it out?

            • No you can not. At regular price, using a BOGO coupon means you have to actually pay for one item. Matching a BOGO coupon up to a BOGO sale means 2 for FREE. (at least in FL it does)

            • lazyin29

So if I go to CVS and purchase 2 Sobe waters at the BOGO sale, and then add two more Sobe waters into my cart and use my BOGO coupon, I am basically just wasting my coupon because I am just getting two for free right???

            • OneLuckyGal

The BOGO sale and coupon combination is always a mind bender!! If you have 1 BOGO coupon for 4 Sobe waters, you'll will pay for 1 Sobe and get 3 free.

Here's the way I look at it:

              Get 4 Sobe Lifewaters
Sobe #1 & 2 – Free through CVS sale and BOGO coupon
Sobe #3 – Free through CVS sale
Sobe #4 – You'll pay for the one unless you have a second BOGO coupon

              Hope that helps!!

            • Buying SoBe at regular price was what you were originally asking about, and buying 2 and using 2 BOGO coupons to cancel each other out is not allowed.
BUT, matching BOGO coupons up to a BOGO sale is always a great thing! The store is giving you one for FREE and the coupon is giving you another one for FREE. So 2 FREE for every SoBe coupon that you have.

            • artlady

No…. otherwise we’d be doing that all the time! :) It has to be in conjunction with a sale.

    • cristy

      I have a doubt…for revlon…if i buy 2 revlons @ $3.90 and use 2 $2 off 1 coupons wouldnt it be free after ecbs?

      • cristy

        Revlon Super Lustrous ones…

        • Guest

I was wondering how much the super lustrous costs. It must be more than 3.90 for a $2 q. Anyone know?

          • glammyyams

i just looked the lustrous lipstick up online and it is on sale for $5.99 and it looks like regular price is $7.99. definitely more then the single eye shadows which are only $3.74 online. hope these lower prices are the same in store! hope it helps!

          • Sarah

They were priced at $7.99 at my CVS tonight!

        • crsity

can someone pls help me…whether Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks will also be @3.90…if anyone is aware of plsss…

    • Firstbrownie

I finally read the fine print on the Sobe BOGO coupon…..$1.69 max.; my CVS sells them for $1.99, so until recently, they have been loosing money on me because they have been taking the full amount off; I realize some might say that is the cashier's fault, but I will take the blame too; anyway, I pay 30 cents now for two, so I'm not complaining!! I love my CVS, and I want to stay in good relations with them and they appreciated it when I told them the max. value.

      • ScottK

Wow $1.99 for that little drink? Ours were $1.49 then went to $1.59 and last I saw were back at $1.49. No wonder they do so many coupons because I'd never pay $2 for a drink, even if I was thirsty and dropping by somewhere for a convenience drink…ah!

        • Dharvn

i agree! i wouldnt pay $2 for a bottle of Sobe, i like them but they aren't that good.

my cvs price is currently $1.59.`

          • Tfrost99

I couldn’t find any Revlon items for $3.90. The cheapest item they had was eye shadow for $4.99 each.

        • kcreviews

At our store they're normally $1.59 regular price or they have them on sale for 99 cents or $1 sometimes. I'm loving getting them free though. My kids LOVE them.

      • flower_mom

Yep…ours are $1.89 and I have to remind the cashier NOT to write in $1.89, but $1.69!

    • mary4c

Has anyone done the Free Flu Shot deal? I am assuming you have to buy all the products in one transaction since I bought $10 worth of paper goods last week and it wasn't mentioned on my receipt. Do you just get a coupon for the Flu Shot? Here is my deal: 3 Prevacid at $10 with 3 coupons for $4.00 each. Total spent $18.00 for 3 Prevacid and a free Flu Shot. Now, if I just had a $4.00 off $20.00.

      • Emmayun2

I did the P&G deal last week and bought all my products in one transaction. The flu shot prints on the bottom of your reciept. It does have an expiration date on it. Mine was for the 16th of September so you have to use it pretty fast.

        • mary4c

          Thanks for the replies!

      • ChristyMy

I did the Free Flu Shot deal this week. I went ahead and bought all of mine in one transaction (I had a $10 off $50 coupon) and it did print on the bottom of my receipt just like the ECB's do. I think I have 2 or 3 weeks to use it before it expires. Sorry that doesn't answer the first part of your question!

    • Wendy

Can you use a CVS coupon (the ones that print at the bottom of a receipt) and a manu coupon on the same item? I have a Huggies coupons on the bottom of my receipt from a RX earlier this week, and I really need the Huggies.

      • Ashley

        Yes you can :)

      • Lisajeanjones03

Yes You Can!!! I Got The Same Coupon On The Bottom Of My Receipt & Will Be Using It W/A Manufacturers Coupon As Well….

    • Guest

Is anyone else having issues with the B1G1 SOBE coupons printing from the website (game)? I haven't been able to print any…says I have reached my limit.

      • Nrreiss

Me, too. Even with valid cap numbers. When I went to HELP, I filled out everything and then was told that they were loading coupons and come back later. I did, one hour later, and same messsage.

      • Carolinagirl1988

yes, I can play and then it won't print it says I reached my limit.

      • kcreviews

When I tried to play it said an error had occurred and to refresh the page. When I did, it said I had already played today, which I didn't. I'm going to do it again on a different computer or just wait until tomorrow.

      • Jminutolo

I just went on the site and was able to print two coupons. They must have worked out the glitches. I would say you should try again tomorrow. HTH :)

    • Ruth

Is there a certain zipcode for the Snuggie Varsity? I didn’t see it on coupons.com and the other link had no more prints available.

      Thanks

      • Kristi

WewaBraswell – How much are you asking for the Dell?

    • Jessdare101

Does anyone know if this is a good deal on the wisk using 2 of the $3 coupons? I thought if Food Lion had them BOGO you could get 2 for free or close to it with the coupons?

      • Will's Mom

I think so…that's the scenario that Jenny lists is buying 2 Wisks, using 2 Q and getting both for around 2.48 or 1.24 ea.

        • Sam in Miami

This didn't work for me this a.m.; cashier said that CVS policy was only one MQ on the two items in a BOGO. Is there any way around this?

      • Janey

I don't remember seeing on FL. Publix has them bogo and with the $3 coupon it is $1.49. Is that what you are thinking about?

This is 25 cents cheaper. But if you are going to Publix anyway and this is the only deal you want at CVS, probably will cost you more than 25 cents in gas to get there!

        • Jessdare101

I don't have a Publix near me. They aren't on sale this week at Food Lion, I was talking about in the past. I don't really need them right now, just waiting on the best deal before coupons expire.

      • Jjfdv

Family dollar has them on sale this week for $4 with q makes them $1 each. Sale ends today tho.

    • Shelley

Do they diaper deals include the pullups/ easyups too?

      • Kb

pull ups etc are priced at the 8.99 sale!!!

    • Ileana

Has anyone had any problems with computer printed coupons? I went to buy some eye drops this evening and the cashier informed me that they are not taking any more printed coupons. I asked for their coupon policy and they say that they did not have it at hand… I have been looking on-line and I am not finding any concrete policy

      • Michelle

If you look at the top right of this page Jenny lists an “Almost Official Coupon Policy” which is an e-mail from corporate outlining their policy It does state that internet coupons will be accepted ONLY if they scan at the register. If it won't scan, they will not accept. Email corporate on their site, I had success with a complaint a few months back. They contacted the district manager who talked with the store manager to correct the problem I'd had.

    • Tiffany maxon

The parade magazine from this past week 8/29 had a dollar off raisin bran which will make it $.77 a box. Sounds like a good deal to me.

      • Tutibugs2

Well crud, I thought I was doing well with my $.60/1 coupon for the Raisin Bran. Still a good deal for cereal. I'm in the Atlanta area.

      • Patagonia

SWEET!!! Thanks for the post. I didnt even look in my parade magazine! Glad I didnt make it too the recycling place yet!

    • Razz

There's a $2 coupon on the Neutrogena Tgel site for any therapeutic haircare product. I see prices START at 5.29, but i'm hoping to make it work with the 5 ECB wyb $10 deal tonight by buying two shampoos or conditioners (if they're the ones that are 5.29) and using two coupons. It would be a total of $10.60 minus $4 coupons and getting 5 ECBS. That would make it 80 cents ea.! Hopefully it'll work out…

    • Ashley72906

Yesterday I got a $4 off purchase of Huggies and Huggies wipes! :) Pairs perfect with the deal. Get diapers, wipes, and Johnsons products for a great price

    • Tmac5915

FYI, both CVS's in Miramar Beach FL are reworking some of their displays–got an 8 roll sparkle paper towels for $2.25–they also had Viva papertowels 8 pack $2.50. Cashier said they will be marking more down, maybe even toilet paper too!

    • luiza

the coupon for the schik razor i have says you have to also buy a sunscreen… is there another coupon out there we could use? thanks!

    • Kb

Just got $76 worth of huggies diapers, pull ups, and J & J washes for FREE!!!!! Thanks Jenny!!!!!

      • 1stTimeSAHM

Kb, How did you get all of that for FREE?? I'm trying to work on getting an scenerio similar to yours!!

        • ireneY

I sure get excited when I see the word “FREE”, even if I don't need diapers. OT, but last Thanksgiving, we were driving past a market and the chalkboard sign read FREE-RANGE TURKEYS. My heart almost skipped a beat because I thought they were giving away turkeys at first and almost swerved into the parking lot. Then, reality set in. LOL! :)

        • Brooke82

I would say that either they had the coupon for $25 gift card with a transferred prescription and used coupons on everything. Or they could have possibly used ECB's from last week to pay for everything. Just a guess though. I wish I could work out a scenario like that though. I love FREE stuff!

        • Kb

Hey! first, I have several computers to print several huggies and j and j coupons….and I was literally down to my last diaper waiting on the sale! I also have 1 card for each person in my family to help get several of the “limit 1 per card” deals. I had 1- $5 off $15 on each of my cards from previous visits and scanning each card on the kiosk. and various ebc's on my cards. so…….all that said,

          1 box of huggies, 2 j and j.

          used 1- $3 off huggies

          2 – $1 off j and j.

          1 $5 off $15

oop would have been $15 getting back $10 ebc's but my oop was down quite a bit for using various ebc's

I think I did actually swipe my debit card to total $11 but I got back $20 in ebcs.

Then I needed pull ups too even though they were not part of the $25 deal. they were still on sale for $8.99. used the $10 ebcs!

so….this was my stock up week!! I cant always get the great grocery deals now because of where I live, but if i can cut out our kid cost…I feel like I'm reallly helping out!

          Hope that helps!!

          total $25

    • MC

Does anyone know if the limit on the diaper deal is one per brand? (Like, could I do this deal once with huggies and again with pampers?) Or is it strictly limit one across the board?

      • Brooke82

All of the deals have a number at the bottom in the ad I believe. You can only do the deal once considering it says limit one, which means limit one per deal number.

    • Rob

Just back from CVS and my card printed a $4 off Huggies diapers and wipes from the coupon printer. Added a $2 travel wipes, and saved another $2 off my diaper purchase. Scan your card if you're doing the Huggies deal!

    • carrie

Anyone heard of/had experience with grocery price freeze dot com? Just saw it on a thread on parenting dot com and wondered what others thought. Thanks.

    • Marina115

Kind of confused by the $2 “put clean in your cart booklet” is listed for the pampers coupon. I'm pretty sure that's a publix coupon!

    • Julie

I haven't read all the comments so this may have already been said, but I shopped the deals tonight and the Johnson's bedtime products are not included in the 2/$5.00… at least not at my store in Huntsville, AL.

      • littlemama

The sign was not under mine either but when I price checked it they were 2/5.

        • Julie

I'm glad it worked for you. But when checking out, mine didn't ring up the sale price. I hope it works for others, too!

          • Wmllewis

I've had this situation happen before too, Julie. I try to point it out to the cashier or manager, then go back later in the week once they've had a chance to fix it. They can override to give you the sale price, but that tends to cause issues with the system printing the ECBs.

      • Dink

Not at mine either, in NC, or the Vapor bath.

        • Dink

          But I did get 10 J&J prducts for $1.55 !!! Used a 5 off 25, $10 worth of J&J q's, and a 10 ECB… got 10 ECB back..

      • Tfrost99

I shopped today also and added 1 bedtime product as it was 5.99 which made my total over $25 with the diapers, but the ECB did not print. He got me 2 oatmeal bath washes and used my $2/2 bedtime products coupon and it worked on the oatmeal bath washes and my ECB printed.

Not sure if that coupon was really for the oatmeal bath wash but it worked and I got a much better deal.

      • Melissa

The bedtime products are not part of the 2/$5 deal. The ones in the deal are the JJ baby products that are normally in the $4.50 range. The Bedtime products are normally in the $5.99 range and those items are not included in the deal.

    • kjmiller

As always, thanks for all the hard work, Jenny!!! As a suggestion, however, when you list scenarios, it might be better to assume that folks don't have ECBs to roll from previous weeks (i.e. scenario 1 above). It's just a little misleading when you get down to the bottom line…

      • kjmiller

And sorry. It also seems like you're counting ECBs twice. The summary subtracts ECBs earned from current transactions from the total OOP. (Then the next week, when you use the ECBs, it's not entered into the total. See what I mean?). Not trying to be critical.. just trying to keep track of my own expenses/budget! Thanks and love you!!! :)

      • Guest

its not misleading. most people do have ecbs from previous weeks. thats the point of the whole system is to pay as much as possible with ecbs…

    • KLM

Hello All ~I am fairly new to couponing (about 3 weeks) and I need ya'll's advice on what happened to me today at CVS. Last night I was at Kohls and I stopped at a CVS over there (not near my house) to purchase the $6.99 ipod headphones. As I stated, I'm new to couponing and I missed that the $6.99 ECB was only available Sun-Tues until after I made the purchase. Today I went to the CVS down the street from my house to return the headphones and the “manager” (a young man who couldn't have been over 18 yrs old) told me it's their store policy to not accept returns from other CVS stores; “it negatively effects their numbers.” I said, “You can't be serious” and he replied, “Yes, it's not personal.” Nowhere in the store is this posted, nor could he produce something in writing. At this point I calmly said to him, “This is your decision, but think carefully before you answer; are you ready to lose all my future business over a $6.99 return? I've never returned anything here before (only been in there twice) and I will take all my business to the other CVS location.” He sat there for 15/20 seconds and said, “Yes, we will not accept your return.” The people in line behind me started to snicker at me/the situation; I was so embarrassed so I just left. All of you seem to like CVS so much, and I was so excited to get on the bandwagon, but after today, I will never go back to this location and I'm really thinking about nipping CVS in the bud all together. Is this their standard operating procedure? What do you recommend I do, if anything at all? Thank you in advance for your help/advice and listening to me vent!

      • Christine

So sorry that happened to you! I wouldn't let one experience ruin it for you. I will say, however, that I find the best deals at Rite Aid. I've learned how the SCR rebates work, and I'm getting back $30 this month to spend on future deals! CVS doesn't have nearly as many $5 off $25 (or similar) coupons as Rite Aid does. I really like the video values, too. HTH :-)

      • Rachel

Hopefully this was just an anomaly. There are some CVS stores out there that are not managed well – but there are lots that are. When I started couponing I had a few bumps along the way, some mildly embarrassing or confrontational. But if you go in with a good attitude and a thick skin in the end you hopefully will find it is worth it!

        Hang in there!!

      • Rene French

I have a CVS store literally 3 blocks from my house. I always go the the next one up the road. The store managers are as different as night and day. And the store employees pick up the same attitude. I never go to the one by my house now & absolutely love the next one. Hang in there. You'll figure out which place to go and how to do it. I now have people in the stores telling me about deals!

      • Jenn

I simply would not tolerate such blatantly rude behavior from that store, period. Now, unless you're concerned that you will HAVE to go back in there and are too nervous about that, PLEASE contact the headquarters. CVS has a website. Go there, complain. Expect a call from the REAL manager. I'd tell him exactly what you said. You did not walk in there to get bullied. Who would. Negatively affect numbers? Nothing says that more than bullying the customers!

      • Kristi

I have never had a really bad experience with CVS however I do have one that I try to avoid because to avoid because they are not friendly. You might try calling another location near you and see what they say about returning the headphones. You might also call CVS corp. and ask them about the policy. I've never returned anything before but I've never heard that they would not expect a return. Please try not to let this get you down on CVS or couponing. If you are in the Auburn area, call the one by the new Publix, they are terrific over there.

      • julies

my husband is in retail and i dont understand why people put up with this stuff! PLEASE, dont sit and take it!!! Call Corporate and complain, this is unacceptable. Yes, this hurts their numbers but that is how the retail world works and they have no right to refuse your return.

      • Vijtai01

If you want to avoid these kinds of situations, you have to read the fine prints before hand. I know how busy our lives is with work, kids, etc, but we have to prepare ourselves in order to avoid these situations. Lets say, if that manager accept 15 returns per month (with situations like yours), the money will add up at the end of the year for the store. And I know, “the customer should always be number 1,” but that doesn't always seems to be. That manager should have produced some kind of evidence that he can't take the return. He is also at fault. By not shopping at CVS at all, it is your loss.

        • mommaof2

I have only had a couple of issues with CVS but I did call the corporate office each time, and the situation was always resolved immediately. I have also by mistake purchased items that were on the 3 day sale with the intentions of getting ECB's, and I have never had a problem returning the item, nor returning it to a different store. In your situation it sounds as though you have a misinformed manager. Don't give up on CVS, they are the MOST coupon friendly. Once you become a little more coupon savvy(comes with time) you won't make as many mistakes so you won't have these kinds of situations. Couponing can be very frustrating at first but once you learn each stores policy/procedures you'll be able to do it like the back of your hand. I do urge you to call the corporate office. I too have gotten ugly looks, and comments from people, but you will learn to let it roll off of you. I get a lot more friendly comments vs. rude. Frankly, you can't let the comments of a few ignorant people get in the way of you doing what's best for your family!

      • AnonymousCVS

KLM, this is NOT CVS policy!! (And I know because I work at one!) It doesn't matter where you purchased the product, you can return it at any CVS. Our store is under constant surveillance because our Loss Prevention numbers are out of whack and we still accept returns from everywhere, with a good attitude too! Don't let them treat you like that! Call corporate and tell them what is going on!

      • Leeanneowens

I am sorry that happened to you. I was treated rudely recently at the Walgreens in my town and was sure I was through with them but got a $5rr during the shopping trip that I couldn't just forget about. I bit the bullet and went back in there last night and had one of the best shopping experiences I have had in a while. The cashier at the cosmetics counter was very nice and helpful. Don't let one unreasonable person discourage you from saving money and finding good deals. Chances are the next time you go into your CVS that manager won't be working. I do think it is a good idea for you to call corperate. If you decide to, please post to let us know what they tell you.

      • KLM

Thanks to all of you, your comments and support! Since many of you have suggested it, I will probably call Corporate this week & I will post what/if I'm told. Thanks again for your support; I plan to start over fresh with a new CVS location this week too. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

        • Kspeacher

You can file a complaint online too and might get a quicker response. Just go to the website and send it in! Good luck. I've never heard of CVS not taking a return from another store.. I was not a CVS shopper prior to coupons but the deals are so good I am a regular now. I am so blessed that my CVS has GREAT people working there who actually get excited about my savings! I missed a coupon yesterday and the clerk handed me a dollar after the transaction was completed and took the coupon anyway… Told her that her doing that meant a ton to me and I'd see her again soon.

I actually had a HORRIBLE situation with a manager, and called the next day to report it to corporate, and it's been 5 weeks and nothing…the cust. svc. rep. told me he would have the manager's boss call me, then she never did, so after 2 weeks, I called back and was told that since she never called me, her boss would call me….3 weeks later, NOTHING. I'm going to call them in a day or so and complain that they couldn't care less that they have a manager that treated a very good customer like garbage and refused my legitimate coupons because I was already getting the items “too cheap”.

      • you should call is manager. he might have just been a shift supervisor. if his manager does not do anything then ask for his district manager. i work for cvs and we take returns all the time from other stores. sorry you had this experience.

    • Chrstyamyrs

Can anyone who has gotten the diaper deal tell me if they changed the limit?? We're not in a huge need for diapers right now, but I like to have plenty on hand and MM diapers are always good in my book!

      • amy

just did it and the limit is one.

        • Chrstyamyrs

          Ok thanks!

        • Tfrost99

Me too – just came back form CVS and reached my limit with 1 box of diapers and JJ products.

    • Anniemore

In defense of CVS, I have 3 where I regularly shop. I've never had a problem (unlike Walgreens) and love my CVS Bucks. There is even an employee at one store that greets me by name. She is very savvy about the bucks and will even offer to ring up orders in 2 separate transactions in order to use the bucks earned from the 1st order to pay on the 2nd order. Ann in Alabama

    • miatd

is anyone having a problem with getting the sobe b1g1 coupon to print…the page says i have already printed the limit…..anyone else

      • Daniel

Yes. Mine has been saying that for about 3 weeks now. (Even when i use a cap with a winner code) I thought I could understand not letting me play the free game anymore, but not letting me print with a winner code from a drink cap that I bought is kinda crappy.

      • Kspeacher

Mine didn't print either and I couldn't get back to the page to try again. Are you having to play that game everytime in order to get the coupon?

    • Bymyshoes

Is anyone else getting the 20% off your entire order coupons? I have had two mailed to my house in the last week

      • Rita

Yes I've rec'd them too but they won't work for anything on sale or many other items so read the fine print carefully.

      • Richfolk5too

oops, replied to the wrong link. See my answer above.

      • Sg

No, I have not rec one wish I had.

      • Carolinagirl1988

yep got mine for next weekend, hope there are good deals next weekend.

    • kinsi

The machine spat out a 3 dollars off 10 dollars in groceries. I got 4 boxes of cereal, 10 sobe life waters, 2 packets of gum, another packet of energy chews, 2 bags of popcorn and a metal water bottle that was 75% off. Total spent – 4.35, total saved – 48.56. Used a 6.99 EB from last week, got a 1.99 and a .99.

And getting a 1.99 EB back on the energy chews worked twice for me, and now it says I've hit my limit. So, I think its limit 2, not limit 1.

Thanks SS for all you do!

      • kinsi

The cashier claimed I had reproduced the sobe life water coupons. I never have. I won :D Although I think she missed one of the coupons, I'm still quite happy :D

        • julies

each of the coupons have a unique serial number on them. I am always quick to point this out and tell them that before they start accusing people of a crime they better check their facts.

          • Richfolk5too

I was all excited to get one, as I was planning on spending about $40 before ECBs & coupons. Well, it took off 17 cents from that order! I guess it's good if you really need something that's not on sale, otherwise, it's nothing to be excited about.

          • Ss310279

WOW!! That is sooooo good to know. I found the unique code and can't wait to show that to 'em. Thanks!!

            • Lorannclark

where is the code located. I would like to know as well.

              Thanks

            • At the top right under the expiration date is a patch of bars and dots. The code is under it. I think it is actually a serial number.

          • Carolinagirl1988

WOW I did not know that, good to know. i had a cashier at rite aid tell me the internet coupons had to be printed in color. I kindly told her I have a black ink only laser printer. Can the employees shop like we do with coupons? I just wonder sometimes if they are bitter at us couponers? Also, just got home from at late trip to cvs and had some of the same coupons as above and they were putting out tons of clearance food items that included the large box of honey nut cheerios for 1.60, oreos, wheat thins and she said don't you want to get some more deals and I said not now will be back when you open with more coupons in hand.

        • SFLS

One local CVS cashier kept refusing my SoBE coupon because of “loss prevention” – regardless of the unique code on each coupon. She refused to call the manager and refused to accept my coupons so I refuse to do business there – there are plenty other CVS stores in town….

      • liveoak1900

I got this one tonight too – question…What constitutes a grocery? I had some paper towels, diapers, etc. The cashier commented that I had no groceries and didn't even scan the coupon. Shouldn't he have at least scanned it – and if my purchases didn't qualify for the deal, well, then…

        • rasta-rat

I may be wrong, but from my receipts, it seems that the things they consider “grocery” are almost always edible. Those are the things that I didn't get charged sales tax on (I'm in SC).

    • Andrea

OK.. I had a hurtful experience this morning at CVS and I really want to tell it in order to get some emotional support from fellow couponers. It was not my cashier's fault. In fact, she was so sweet and helpful that it may have caused the situation. I went to purchase the Huggies/Johnson&Johnson deal. I had my coupons and everything in hand and ready. My cashier realized it did not print my $10 EC bucks, and that it was bc of a price adjustment she made on the wash that rang up reg price. Evidently, this caused a stir with a woman shopping. She stared holes through me and made ugly comments. I have had couponing checkout situations that took too long, but in this case it was not holding anyone up. It really hurt my feelings. Ironically she was dressed as if on her way to church. Looks like she needs to be. :( How many of you have been in this situation before?

      • tarheelbaby1

I had a very similar situation at RiteAid last week when the cashier had to key in a clearance item, which then messed up my rewards. It was a MESS to get everything sorted out, and people were verbally complaining behind me (They only had one register open in the whole store). I was so stressed when I left. It's a terrible feeling, I know.

        • Andrea

It really upset me. I went out to my car and just sat there a minute contemplating going back in and saying something to the woman. But what good would that do? It would not change her, and it certainly wouldn't make me any better either.

          • Erin

I understand what you're saying exactly. What a DOWNER, but at least we're not the only ones. The thing is, some people aren't expecting anyone to put them in their place, because no one ever does. Other people don't care one way or the other, they will go toe to toe with you no matter. Do I set them in their place(which has often “worked”) or go to battle with some idiot who will never change. That's my struggle because all I want to do is go around being nice to people and I do not understand rude people, but I will swing my head around and set you straight too. I don't like being like that and being involved in such negativity, but it's “worked” and I do feel better. The way I think about it and it seems I've learned is that these people are not expecting you to call them out for being out of line, and so what it boils down to I guess is that I'm not going to take it anymore and allow someone to treat me this way. Ah, but they will never change in the end I'm sure.

      • Harwem01

that's when the cashier should get the manager or someone else to open another register. dont feel bad for something that's not your fault.

      • pfsinnh

Don't feel bad. It happens to all of us, and this wasn't your fault. I know how you feel, and you know what? You are doing a great job saving money for your family. If more Americans were like you and the rest of the savers here, it would put a real dent in this recession we are having.

Don't let that nasty lady discourage you! ;)

      • Anonymous

In these instances, kill them with kindness. If I hear grumbling or sighing, I turn around with a smile and apologize for taking so long. Or even offer to cancel your order so they can go ahead and not waste any of their valuable time. More than likely, they will decline and pipe down.

    • Jennifer

I got a CVS coupon for $4 off Huggies diapers and wipes last week that is good until September 14. Make sure you scan your CVS card at the coupon scanner before you shop!

    • KIDZRYOURLEGACY

Ok, Ladies here's a question for the day. For the cover girl purchase, do you need to purchase them on the same transaction to receive the ecb's or can you purchase in different transactions and once it is fulfilled it will print the ecb's? Thanks in advance

      • Tfrost99

Different transactions are fine. Like my scenario above about the baby items, I ended up purchasing them in 2 different transaction and my ECB printed out after I reached the amount needed.

      • You can purchase them in separate transactions, as long as the full amount is purchased before the ad period is over.

    • chickadoo

I need some clarification on shopping at CVS. The ad states “spend $25, get $10 ECB wyb any baby products on this page.” I have always thought that you must buy 25 dollars worth of the items shown for that deal, however, a friend of mine told me I was wrong. She said that you have to buy at least one item from the deal but you didn't have to buy everything in the deal. You would still get back your ECB as long as your total was $25 and you had at least bought one item from the deal. I don't think this is right but she insisted that it was. She said she had asked the manager about it first and that this worked. So I hope someone can clear this up for me. Thanks :)

      • Tfrost99

Chickadoo – if I understand your question than your friend is not right. You have to buy $25 worth of the items on the page (not just $25 total purchase and 1 item from baby page). I bought the diapers ($20) and then a $5 J&J item. I did not get the ECBs b/c the J&J item was not part of the deal according to the cashier. He said it was only the items that were on sale 2/$5.

He returned the $5 J&J item and I got 2 for $5 and was able to use a $2/2 J&J wash coupon. So, you do have to buy $25 worth of items from that baby page to get your $10 ECBs.

        • chickadoo

          Thanks :)

      • You have to buy $25 worth of those products.

    • Melissaoski

Just a quick question that I am positive has been answered before, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If I have a B1G1 coupon and a dollar off coupon can I use them both?

      • Sds_30

Yes, you can the dollar will come off of the 1 item that you are paying for. Hth!

        • Melissaoski

          Thankyou so much!

    • Shanvickery

Many times I forget to scan my card in the machine that spits out coupons in the front of the store. Today I remembered! So it printed out a coupon for $4 Huggies diapers and wipes. So I bought my box of diapers and added a travel size huggies wipes for $2 and got to use my $4 coupon (in addition to the $3 coupon for diapers and the ECB money back) I also got a coupon for $3 off of a $10 groceries purchase. I used this to buy mini snickers for Halloween candy. They were $3 each, plus $3 ECB back and the $3 coupon off. Can't believe I haven't used the card scanner before today! Was a great day!

    • Kspeacher

Got a deal at my CVS today – Headed back to the clearance bin and found a package of Vicks Nyquil tablets with vitamin C marked down to $1.37.i had a $1.50 coupon off any Nyquil product from last weeks P&G so I got it free (they lowered the coupon value to $1.37). When I got home I realized that I have a few more of those coupons so I'll be heading back tomorrow to see if there are more of those marked down (I only saw the one box today). This was a bonus to all the other great deals I got today!

    • Tfrost99

I did Jenny's deal idea above except that I added 4 Sobe's (all free with the coupons/sale) and the Schick razor had a peelie for a free ($3.99) can of shaving cream to the first transaction.

So for $20 (the price of the diapers) I got a whole lot more.

      • Phoenixphyre763

hey, just wondered if you could spell out what you did to get the free sobe life waters.. not sure I understand the combo of coupons. Thanks

        • beth

The sobe water is buy one get one free, and there is a printable coupon for sobe that is buy one get one free. How this works is for each bogo coupon you have, you will buy two sobes. One will ring up at $1.59 and the other will ring up free. The coupon value is for one free, so the cashier will enter in the coupon price at $1.59, making your total zero. Does this make sense?

      • Brooke82

I always think like that too. For instance if I need to buy something for say $15 I try to figure out how I can still pay only that much buying that item and other stuff too. My husband thinks I am crazy! lol

    • Tchpch

I had a great trip to CVS today. I purchased 12 Sobe Lifewaters, 2 cases of Nestle Purelife Water, 4 cans of Lindsay black olives, a J&J baby shampoo, a J&J baby bubble bath, a case of Huggies Snug and Dry diapers, a pack of Dentyne Pure gum, 2 bags of Lifesaver gummies, 2 boxes of Apple Jacks and a .39 cent pack of bubble gum for my daughter. I used the $4 off 30 from email and the coupon machine printed a $3 off $10 spent in groceries. I also used $7.50 in ECB from last week's trip. The bubble gum was the only item I didn't have a coupon for. Total out of pocket was $16.46 and I got back $10.99 in ECB. Can't beat that with a stick!!

      • Luvgrin

did they have newborn and size 1 diapers in the sale?

        • Srbeachell

box diapers start at size 3

      • bzwrknmom

If the Limit on the Sobe water says “limit 6” on the sale circular, does that mean you can get a total of 12 with bogo coupons? And is this per transaction or is it the limit per card?

    • Susan6789

My sister and I went in to get the diaper deal today. We both scanned our cards into the coupon machine before we started shopping and got $3 off the 'As seen as TV' items. The aquaglobes are $2.99 so we both got a set for FREE!! Figured we would save them for Christmas gifts. Did great with the diapers/J&J soaps, Trident, Sobe water, $1.77 cereal, 'As seen on TV' with coupons.

    • $savin'some$

I found a money maker this week and have done it twice so far. I've received on 2 different days a “$3 off an 'As Seen on TVPproduct'. Well, the Bumpits are clearanced for $2.50 so I made $.50 on each one.

    • cyndy

Hi..I am new to cvs…if anyone could help me..its a bit off topic….i would like to know how are Nivea Happy Sensation Body Lotions generally priced at when dey go on sale ie buy $15 worth products and get 5 ecbs…if anyone could help plss…

    • CouponNERD

WOO HOO! I was able to get a nice baby shower gift together today using the $25 baby care deal with $10 ECB's back!

    • michelle

I haven't been on SS in a while and see a lot of changes. CAn someone please point to wear the links are to print our shopping list. I see the directions for FILE and PRINT PREVIEW, but cannot find where to do this? There are no clickable links.

      • Kspeacher

hover over the ad you are looking at and it's a hyperlink to the shopping list… does that make sense?

    • Donna

How do I sign up for double bucks? I am seeing this on another website but I cannot find out how these are added.

      Thanks,

      Donna

    • Momof3sc

REALLY NEEDING a Varsity Snuggie coupon for 5.00 off and they seem to be gone? Any other zipcode working or did someone print one they aren't going to use? Thanks

      • Kayleesgma

I have one that I wound up not needing – you are welcome to it. Email me @ kayleesgma@aol.com and I will get it in tomorrow’s mail for you. It expires on 9/30/10. :)

      • Kayleesgma

I have one you are welcome to. It expires on 9/30/10. Email me @ kayleesgma@aol.com and I will get in in the mail! :)

    • Check the seasonal isle when you are CVS. My store had there summer 75% off.I loaded up on flip flops and coolers! Alot of the toys were suitable for xmas gifts.Even if the 75% off is not signed yet…check prices via the coupon center. The store i was at last night did not even know the markdown had occurred…i was the first to the goodies!

    • For those of you that have bad experiences with managers but not supervisors. Ask for the district managers phone number. Managers do not want there boss on there back so they will usually try to resolve the situation quickly. if you are dealing with a supervisor then you should go the the manager next. most supervisors are not fully authorized to handle certain situations without manager approval. just thought i would throw that out there…

    • Llnz84

Hi,Im new to CVS- If i Have a 5 ECB, Can I buy 5 packs of Gum the stride gum and still get another 5 ECB back?

      • susansaver

No, the limit for ECB's on the gum is 1 per card. If you bought 5 you would only get $1 ECB on your receipt. The limits for the ECB's print out at the bottom of the receipt (right before the ECB's print). It will look something like this:

Dentyne, Buy 1 Get 0.99 EB
        * Offer Limit Reached 1

        • Llnz84

ok thanks, what if I bought 5 dollars worth of products that give you ECB in return, like 1 pack of stride gum, the high octane energy chews, and the crest mouth wash, would i only get what those ECB deals add up to or woudl i get that plus my 5$ ECB back too?

          • susansaver

You would just get the ECB's for the items you're buying. Consider the $5 ECB that you're using to pay for the items as CVS cash. What you're essentially doing is “rolling” the ECBs from one item to another during the purchase. This allows you to buy more items that generate ECBs without spending actual cash. But once you spend them, they're gone and you don't get that ECB back on your receipt. So for the scenario you mentioned above, it would look like this:

            Buy:
            1 pack gum: $0.99
            1 energy chews: $1.99
2 Crest mouth wash at $3.49 each: $6.98

            Subtotal: $9.96

            Use:
            (2) $1 off Crest Rinse coupon
            $5 ECB

            Pay: $2.96

            Get back: $0.99, $1.99 and $2.50 ECBs

If these are the items you want, I would do the following instead:

            Transaction #1
            Buy:
2 Crest mouth wash at $3.49 each: $6.98

            Subtotal: $6.98

            Use:
            (2) $1 off Crest Rinse coupon
            $5 ECB

            Pay: Just tax

            Get back: $2.50 ECBs

            Transaction 2:
            Buy:
            1 pack gum: $0.99
            1 energy chews: $1.99

            Subtotal: $2.98

            Use:
            $2.50 ECB from Transaction #1

            Pay: $0.48 + tax

Get back: $0.99 and $1.99 ECBs

Doing it this way results only in $0.48+tax out of pocket compared to $2.96+tax if you just check out once.

            HTH!!

            • Llnz84

wow, ok i think im getting it, thank you :)

            • Sg

I am still having trouble coming up with the best transactions to use. Is there anything you could suggest or should I keep trying different scenerios?

      • Mandy

No – there is only a limit of 1 (each ECB deal has a different limit), so you can only get the $.99 ECB one time…

    • Yolanda

Any other zipcodes to try for the snuggie varsity? Bricks is out & don't see on coupons.com???

    • Pjpwillis

I purchased Huggies last night. Can I use the $10 ECB on another package of Huggies (I know that I wont get the ECB back again)?

      • Mandy

yes, you can use it on anything you want to…it's not like Walgreens – the ECB are considered to be cash!

        • Dianne

Does anyone know why these random hyperlinks are showing up in some posts, like the one I am replying to?

          • Brooke82

It's because you used periods maybe?

      • sealey5

You can do different transactions in one trip, if that's more conveinent.

    • Kspeacher

I had a good day at CVS yesterday. i started out with a $6.99 ECB from last weeks headphone purchase.

      Transaction #1

      1 Cottonelle Wipes $1.99

1 Vicks Nyquil clearance priced at $1.37

2 Wisk Laundry Detergent BOGO @$8.99

      1 excedrin $6.99

      1 donation to military $1

      Used:

      $3.00 off $15

      2 $3/1 Wisk Laundry detergent

      $1 off Excedrin

$1.37 off Nyquil (coupon was $1.50 they rounded down)

      Total OOP $3.57

Received $5 ECB for the Excedrin purchase

      2nd Transaction:

      2 Wisk Laundry detergent BOGO @ $8.99

2 cans black olives at $1.00 ea

1 Scott 6 roll paper towels

1 greenbag tag .99 (just found out about this deal yesterday)

      Used:

      $3 off $15

2 $3 off Wisk laundry detergent

      $1 off Scott paper towels

      $5 ECB from above purchase

      Total OOP $3.24

Without the bag tag and military donation total OOP would have been less than $5 out of pocket but I thought both were worth the cost!

      • Ready2Save

        Hey Kspeacher,
Can u use 2 Wisk coupons? Is it allowed?
        Thanks for the help

        • wendy robbins

yes 2 wisk coupons are allowed

    • Shelash

I bought the Schick Hydro 3 razor with the $5 off coupon. There was a coupon on the razor for a free Schick Hydro shaving gel up to $3.99 with the purchase of the razor. I also used ECB to pay for the balance of my purchase. Free razor, gel and $4 to spend next time. Yay!

    • Ready2Save

      Hello,

Good news. I am getting 3$ off of 15$ Health Care purchases. It also said that I would be getting this everyweek now!!! I am not much of a CVS shopper. I wish someone else could have use it :(
Make sure that u guys get it too.

      • Msrichhbic

I got it not sure how it came in the mail

    • Ready2Save

I have a question regarding Wisk.
Since it is B1G1 deal, can I still use 2 coupons? Or should it be just one coupon?
      Thanks for the help.

      • Chele17rene

        can use 2 coupons

      • Nita Royal

The second one will ring up as “0”, so you can't use a coupon on that one.

        • Anonymous

Actually, you can use two coupons. I had a problem with this one time and got an email from CVS corporate saying that they allow it…yay…

    • Keliland19

Quick questions… has anyone had any experience with closeout items. My CVS had Frebreeze candles in a buggy in the front for $2.20, but the price was written over the barcode so they put in the price instead of scanning the item and would not let me use my coupons… It was still a great deal because I used a 4/20 and $5 ecb's so I got 8 candles, 1 plug in and 2 plug in refills for $16. Does anyone know if this was right not to let me use the coupons????

      • Rebekah

That is what they told us at our CVS as well. We could use the coupons on any clearance, except if the barcode is written on.

        • Ebunnie63

mfg coupons don't say anything about bar codes, they just say what item u can buy… just in case.. u should call cvs, number on back of card and ask.. just a suggestion..

      • Nita Royal

When they mark through the barcode, the item won't scan, which means that the coupon won't scan automatically. They have to put in the price, and the coupon manually. Some cashiers don't want to do this, but I called the district manager and he said they ARE supposed to allow coupons on these items.

      • Msrichhbic

I went to cvs today and they had Frebreeze candles in a buggy for 2.00 and they let me use 2.00 cpn

I'm trying to get Sobe coupons, but printed 2 of them several months ago, and now it won't let me print….can you advise how you got 6? Thanks!

        • Tarlee

I'm not sure why it won't let you print. I play the game everyday since you can only play once per day.

I play using my email addy and then using hubby's email. (That gives me 4 coupons per day)

    • VineyB

Crud! I just got home from getting the CVS diaper deal, and I forgot to give them my $1 Pampers coupon when I used the $10ECB for a 2nd box of diapers. Is there any chance they'd take the coupon a day late if I take the receipt & the coupon in tomorrow? I'm highly doubtful, but I'm so annoyed at myself that I thought I'd at least ask.

      • Awenglund

My CVS has allowed me to return and they give me the value of the coupon in cash.

      • artlady

I had this happen to me once, too. My manager let me just give them the coupon that I had intended to use (I showed them the receipt and the item I purchased), and gave me the cash value of the coupon instead! I didn't even have to do a return.

    • sasa00@homesc.com

Just wondering if there was another zip to use for the Snuggie coupon? Thanks!

      • Amy J.

I can't find it under mine either and I've tried several zip codes……help from anyone on the Snuggie Varsity $5 coupon? thnx!

        • Shana

          Try 28150. Hope this helps!

          • Amy J.

This one didn't work either, but thank you anyway, Shana….I really appreciate it!

            • Mandy

              Try 63366.

            • Momof3sc

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I have been looking for one to work! 63366 worked great! Just hit apparel and it's right there no looking!

    • ivegotcutekids

    • Darkcisnelle

and $3 off $10 grocery purchase
      for a 4.09 total.

    • Carolinagirl576

Where did the print icon go? I can't seem to find it on the new format. HELP!!!

      • Are you talking about the “create list” box? If so, it is in the gray/green box above the comments. Just scroll up a little from “ADD NEW COMMENT” and you should see it.

    • servingtheSavior33

How do you keep coupons.com from printing in color?

      • Mandy

For me, after I hit print, I hit “preferences.” This is where I can change my settings to print in b/w.

      • $avin'some$

i set my default printer settings to black and white. that just means no when i want to print anything else in color i have to manually change it. works for me though as coupons seem to be the majority of what i print.

    • @ the Goose Creek, SC CVS (the one in the Papa Johns/Big Lots parking lot, they have their “As seen on TV” Bump-Its (hair things) on clearance for $1.25…and the coupon machine gave me a $3 off “as seen on TV” coupon. I coulda got 2 free but went with 3 making them 25 cents each b/c these are cute stocking stuffers for teenage girls in our family!!

      • Brooke82

I miss Goose Creek! That's also a really good deal!

    • colleen

I tried to use a coupon a few weeks ago when deodorant was on sale bogo with a bogo coupon. the clerk said I couldn't do that, that they had gotten an e-mail. Is this true?

      • Brooke82

I used mine for the Right Guard deodorant and it worked just fine! They were wrong. I would try to find another CVS that is more coupon friendly.

        • DonnaTN

I realized when I got my raincheck for the deodorants they only put down B1G1 and didn't put the sale price as well so I pointed out that the price was starting at 2.99 (at my store anyways) and she gave me a hard time about it but I got it. Otherwise they will take the b1g1 price off the reg price of the item.

    • Kspeacher

Ran to CVS on mylunch hour:

      Got:

2 Airwick motion sensor room deodorizers (on sale for $4.99 each)

1 grill steamer cleaner tool – regular $14.99 on clearance for $3.75

1 package trident gum .99 cents

      Used:

      $3.00 off $15 purchase

$3.00 off as seen on TV product coupon

2 $4.00 off Airwick motion deodorizers

Paid $1.53 out of pocket – got back a $1.00 ECB for next visit

    • kris

I love CVS this week. Dove shampoo, conditioner, lotion, 2 degree deos, 4 boxes mini wheats, and a box of granola bars for $5!

    • Tlbmcbuirecoupons

      Box of Huggies Diapers
      3 J&J Baby Powders

I had CVS Bucks from previous week(s) that I used along w/ q's for every item, a $4 off on $20 CVS Email coupon and $3 off bday coupon. Got $10 CVS Bucks back and still had 2 from previous weeks left over.
      I LOVE CVS!!!

*Update re my post from Saturday night* Hi! Thanks to those of you who responded to my post Saturday night re: the CVS not letting me return an item that I purchased at a different CVS store because “it negatively affects their numbers.” After a couple calls this morning, I tracked down the District Manager who could not have been nicer! He said what I was told was emphatically incorrect and that CVS employees should always be putting the customer's needs first, not the store's. I now have his cell phone # and his permission to call him directly any time I have an issue at any CVS store. Additionally, I'm going to e-mail him so that he can e-mail me back once he fixes the training/CS issues at my local store so that I can give it a 2nd try. Thanks again for your advice and I'm so excited about trying CVS again! I'm in Ellenwood, GA (south of Atlanta) in case others out there would like his contact information. :-)

      • Tonya

Had a great experience at Kroger with this same issue. Bought something at a Kroger outside my circle of stores and needed to fix a problem without having to drive 15 miles out of my way (this was when they had the $5 back when you bought 5 Kraft items). Wouldn't think the store would fix it because they would have to give me $5 back when I didn't purchase anything at their store to begin with. made a phone call and low and behold they told me I could come in and they would fix it for me. Kudos to Kroger in Cumming, Ga.

Does anybody know if the Free Flu Shot promotion is $30 BEFORE OR AFTER coupons??
Can I buy $30 worth of stuff, use coupons to lower OOP and still get free flu shot?

      • Yes, it is before coupons.

    • Beth

Check out the summer toys clearance. Use the scanner machine to check for actual sign. I got a big surprise when I did this. Very cheap Christmas gifts!

    • Mommysauls

?? ~ The wisk is b1g1 and in order to get it for 1.24 they would have to ring up half price and use your 3 off Q .. Do they ring up half price??

      thanks bunches

      • Dharvn

they don't ring up half price. you would have to use two $3 off cpns to get for $1,24 each.

        • Mommysauls

okay so get 2 and use 2 Q .. Thanks bunches!

    • Donna

Did the Neutrogena Clincal rebate back in July. Was on sale at CVS for $34.99 and I turned in a $5.00 manu coupon. Also turned in 3.00 in ECBs and a 10.00 gift card I had. They minused all that and sent me a rebate for $16.99! My ECBs and gift card had nothing to do with their rebate. Thought I was getting a 34.99 rebate. Anybody else get their rebates this weekand what did u get??? Wondering if mine was just a fluke. Will not be doing their rebates again.

      • judebluiz359

I didn't receive my rebate yet ,but I also used a $5.00 coupon and ECB's. If they have subtracted the ECB's, I will definitely call their corporate office, as that is not right. In addition, the rebate form,as I recall, did not state that they would be deducting coupons.
Sounds like they looked at the bottom line total on your receipt and that is what they refunded. Your gift card and ECB's are equivalent to cash- you should contact them.
Hope you get your money back!!!

        • Donna

Looked at my receipt wrong. I had a2,1,5,10 ECB(thought the 10 ecb was my gift card but it wasn't) and a 5.00 manu Called1-888-984-2464 they told me to call 1-800-582-4048 which I did and got nowhere.Said sorry, bottom line they weren't doin anything bout it. Hope yours turns out better

      • Sarah

I paid 29.99 before tax (after the $5 q) and got sent a check for $29.99. So it appears, to me anyway, that they are sending a check in the amount of your subtotal, which will really make a lot of people who used ECB's or RR's to lower their total very upset!!

    • Mcdowels

In Brentwood/Franklin Tn visited 3 stores and found that summer items were 75% or 90% off. Found Transformers for about $3, Slip N Slide, even Bar-b-Q sauce, Kraft Salad Dressings, Vlasic Pickels, Did not have Coupons with me – but hav estocked upi for birthday parties and famikly events.

    • Amber

I love CVS! I went tonight b/c I had $9.99 in ECBs that were expiring. I didn't really want any of the deals from this week, but I had seen that people were starting to see summer items on clearance. Sure enough, my store had summer items on clearance for 75% off. They also had the Bumpits marked down to $1.25. I got 2 Bumpits, 7 bubble kits, 2 magnetic fishing poles w/ fish, 6 bottles of bubble solution, 1 game set (5in1 w/ a frisbee and velcro catch, etc.), 2 racquet sets, and 2 sets of water pistols. I used a $3 off As Seen on TV Product coupon and my $9.99 in ECBs. My total came to $10.35 with tax. Then I used a gift card I had gotten from a new prescription, so completely free for everything! I am ecstatic! W/o the gift card, my savings came to $88.95, a 90% savings. I would definitely have been ok paying that OOP! Glad I didn't have to though!

My Husband loves the TGel shampoo. I was able to get 2 bricks $2/1 q’s from the nutrogena website. http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=zihgcms67222428&bt=xg&o=51675&pt=&lang=&ws=&ct=&ci=&cl=&cp=&eb=1&c=NE&p=2701174&z=&r=&pc=&tc=

When I scanned my card at the coupon center, I got coupons for $3 off “As Seen On TV” and $3 off a $15 grocery purchase. A cashier was excited to tell me these would work on “almost anything in the store”. I tried them with the diaper/baby items deal and they both worked, so I got an additional $6 off! :)

Thanks to the cashier as I'd never have tried these otherwise – particularly the “As Seen On TV” coupon.

    • Kb

      • sunny1232

    • cristine

i went to store…but could not find High Octane Energy Chews…can some pls tell me where can i find them? in which section?

      • Freedomspradley1

They are on the aisle where the diet aids are. I've been to two different stores and they are on top shelf near 5 Hour Energy Shots.

        • Freedomspradley1

Also, they are in a pack that looks like it's baseball cards (roughly 2″x4″).

    • Carolmckrn

They are with the Nutritional Supplements – I had a hard time finding them as well.

      • cristine

        thanx carol

    • $avin'some$

wow- i have accumulated enough sobe coupons for 72 bottles. i just called my cvs to ask about ordering that many. the manager was so awesome and nice- she is going to order 5 cases for me and honor the price when they come in next tuesday! yall dont forget to keep printing those coupons and get rainchecks if they are out!

      • kcreviews

No way. That is AWESOME. Go you!

    • Phyllis

Can anyone tell me what the new q at cvs means? $3 off “As seen on TV”. I have several of these! What can i use them for? Thanks for anyone's help!

      • Megortiz63

They have a shelf with “As seen on TV” items – like from some of those TV ads -if you can find the glass water globes – they are in a big box – they are only $2.99, so you can get them for free. Also, they have some sunglasses that have reader lenses in them that are only 3.99

        • Phyllis

          ok thanks everyone!

          • I bought the “Always Fresh” Green Bowls. They are supposed to keep veggies fresh longer. I would like to have had the glass globes, but my store didn't have any. The bowls were marked 4.99 so I got them for 1.99. Not bad for 5 bowls.

      • Freedomspradley1

These are one day only coupons and the store I shop will not honor them after they expire so make sure they are good. The Aqua Globes (glass globes you stick in potted plants) are on clearance for $2.99 although they were not marked at my store. They had a sticker price of $9.99 but when I price checked it at the red kiosk it was $2.99. The Bumpits hair accessories are also on clearance for $1.24. You can also combine the -$5 coupon on the Varsity Snuggie with the CVS coupon to get the snuggie for $7 which is a pretty good deal and great Christmas gift.

        • $savin'some$

the boxes of qualifying products will have the “as seen on tv” icon on there but yeah- most of those things are in one section together and quite few are on clearance.

    • lolalita28

WOW 72 bottles of SOBE..but when they say limit 6.. is that per day or per card???

      • $savin'some$

i suppose it is per transaction but i've been in a few stores this week and asked- “is there a limit?” and they have said no. fine by me! the manager who is ordering for me didn't seem phased at my request either.

      • DonnaTN

I believe it's per card but you can always ask your store

      • artlady

I am assuming that it means per card, as the other sale items always run per card. It would seem a little silly to make this limit 6 per transaction to me. Why would they need to put a limit number on a transaction? So I think it's limit 6 per card, meaning that they are implying that you can get 12 Sobe waters for the week.

      • Lori

It is six per transaction, not card. It is a polite way of saying, “Don't empty our shelves in one shopping trip, spread the wealth.” But, technically, if the manager allows it, you could do a gadzillion transactions and wipe them out of SOBE in five minutes….

    • Talor2003

Im have so much trobble trying to get the sobe bogo coupon?! I played the game, but when I tryed to get it, it goes back to there home page! :(

      • WynetteC

Do you have a pop-up blocker? On the Sobe coupon page, there is a warning that announces you can receive your coupon but to “Make sure you do not have pop ups blocked”.

You also might notice there is a little bar that pops up at the top of your “Click Here to get your COUPON” page. Once you see that, there is no hope of printing the coupon for that day again. You have to ALLOW pop ups from sobe heads or tails to make this coupon print. And it must be allowed before you click on the coupon link. I used a different browser today, and like you, it started me over when I tried to click the coupon. The pop ups were blocked and I had to set them up to allow for this site. Good luck! :)

    • Talor2003

How can I get 2 more Garnier Fructis Hair Care coupons?!

      • DonnaTN

You can check out the coupon services but you won't get them in time before the sale.

      • Balentine

If you don't have a friend or family member that can print them for you, you can always go to the library and print them there. hth

      • ireneY

There's more coming out this Sunday. Buy your papers early on Saturday and you'll still make the sale.

      • guest

there is a website you can buy whole coupon inserts or single coupons couponsthingsbydede.com

    • guest

my cvs manager said she would order however many i needed and asked me what flavors i wanted. very cool 50 bottles. and don't have to worry about wiping out shevels.

    • wscooby

Hi, I was told today by a manager that all laundry detergent BOGO promos are always strictly BOGO not buy one for half price. So.. my wisk $3 off q wasn't as nice to use. Is this accurate information?

      • Kathryn

that is correct. but you CAN use 2 coupons.

        • Anita

I tried to use 2 coupons on the BOGO Wisk and was told that I could only use one coupon even though I was getting 2 items. Didn't push it but simply told her to take them off. Still walked out with a gallon of milk, 2 jars of instant coffee, a king size candy bar and a bag of candy corn for 19 cents. Can't feel too bad about that!

    • emerson

Does anyone know if the $3 q off of $10 grocery order applies to just groceries or does it apply to most items in the store? Thanks

      • That depends on your cashier. I was allowed to use it buying Wisk & Sobe, and again buying the Johnson's baby products.

I had an issue yesterday at my CVS. I was getting the Revlon deal with the 5 ecbs when you buy 2 eye or 2 lip products. I had 2 lipstick coupons that I'd printed online for $2 each and 2 $1 off Revlon coupons that I'd picked up at the register last week. They clearly stated that they were CVS coupons and I believe the barcode starts with 4……

The cashier wouldn't take the CVS $1 coupons. He said that it was “over the limit”. I told him that they were CVS coupons and turned them over and pointed. Wouldn't budge, said they wouldn't scan and he couldn't override them. I asked it the coupon policy had changed and he said yes.

The lipsticks were $7.99 each, so $15.98. So $4 off from 2 manu coupons, $2 off from store coupons would have been $9.98 with $5 ecbs. How was that over the limit?

I would have argued the point but there were a couple of people in line and I'd already gotten my 12 Sobe's free. I didn't want to seem like I wanted everything free! (but I do)

If you ended up buying the makeup anyways, you should take it back with your receipt and speak to a manager and have them fix it.

I just went to CVS and was told that they cannot accept the manufacturer coupons that has the target logo printed on them. Has anyone had that problem? Thanks

    • I need help! On the Spend 25- get 10 ecb deal that involves Pampers and Huggies, formula and other baby products- I have a raincheck from a few weeks ago in which the Huggies boxes were 19.99 w/ 10 ecb back. So…can I buy the box of huggies at 19.99 and $5 worth of the other baby products listed and get both the 10ecb from the raincheck and the 10 ecb from the current week promo? Will that work? Thanks for your help!

      • Brooke82

I'm pretty sure you can't do that because from what I've seen on rainchecks, they write down the deal # that is posted in the ad. The buy $25 get $10 ECB is a different deal number. If I were you and really needed diapers I would roll your raincheck ecb's over towards the new deal. If you use all the coupons it should work out to be pretty cheap!

The CVS store would not let me use B1G1 Sobe coupon, claiming that they are counterfit coupons and told not to accept them.
