Can you purchase all 3 right guard deodorants in 1 transaction and still get ecbs on all 3 purchased?

      • Diane

You can do them together, but it will print a $6 ECB instead of separate $2 ECBs. You might have less money OOP is you do the transactions separately. Either way works. I will probably do them together, since I have larger ECBs to use and you don't get change if you spend less than they are worth. HTH!

I registered for the Soft Scrub website and there was no BOGO coupon. Only a $1 off coupon. Boo. I guess they're all gone…

I just found a printable coupon to make buying the new Disney Tinkerbell movie a good deal. This is if CVS has the Blu Ray/ DVD combo pack. It is a $10 off coupon at the Disney Movie Rewards site…I haven’t tried it yet, just seen it on another site that I check…thought I’d share..hope it works and I sure hope that CVS has the combo pack. http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com

    • Shari

yes, the ECBs will print as $6 ECB instead of $2 ECBs for each one

    • rebecca

I have A question…I have A $9.99 ECB from last week, so now do I have to use it on A product that is $9.99 or more? Would I be able to use it on the excedrin deal? Thank You in Advance!

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

That 9.99 ECb is like cash., You can spend it on whatever you like. But you will get no “change” back form it. Spend the $10 on whichever deal works for you.

      • $savin'some$

well- you don't have to use it on a 9.99 product but you do have to use it on a 9.99 transaction. HTH!

    • Carolinaflufys

      can't find the futuro coupon?

    • Deshaine

the subtotal (before taxes have been applied) of your transaction should be more than the amount on the ECBs; otherwise the cashier will decrease the amount of the ECB and you will “lose” money. If you're ok with losing money, then it doesn't matter what you use it on. The items within the transaction do NOT need to be more than the value of the ECB, but the subtotal should.

my comments are for: rebecca regarding her $9.99 ECB… I selected reply under her comments (twice) and my comments still didn't get posted correctly. Sorry…

I'm sad to see a lack of $5 off $25 or $4 off $20 in my inbox again this week :(

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1373407298 Jennifer Penar

Free lipstick!? I am SO there!

    • pfsinnh

I have $4 in ECB's that I just found in my glove compartment. They expired last week. Do you think I can talk to someone about using them? Or is it a strict rule with the expiration? Help!

      • Freedomspradley1

A lot of stores will except them if they are within 1 week of the expiration date.

        • pfsinnh

          Thank you both!

      • Marina115

One cashier told me that their policy is to accept them 3 days late. But maybe you can talk someone into it. I had a guy who gave a hard time over 1 day late so, it really depends on who's ringing you up

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

My store accepts them up to a month late. Ask someone!!

    • Bryarsmom

But keep in mind those smaller ECB's are alot easier to spend than the larger dollar amounts…

    • 3monkeysmom

There's also a coupon from SS 9/12 for FREE nail polish when you buy Revlon lipstick :-)

    • Lucy2778

I just got a $5/$40 in my inbox… don't think I'll be using it though.

      • Bryarsmom

My friend here at work just ran up to show me she got one too!!!

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

WHY would you not use it? There are good deals this week to use it on. When you have a $/$$ Q you make one transaction rather than breaking it up into multiples.

    • Pinkandblackcrazy

I am so excited for this week I am starting the week off with a 5 of 25 coupon a 5 , 4.99, .99 ECB I am only doing 2 transactions but getting tons of stuff for free I will be sending like 3 dollars

    • Lorrose57

Cannot get Ocean Spray page…another link perhaps?

    • Beth

your ECB are like CVS money….you can use them on anything.

    • http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/6PE5YYF53RADUNLETN7FOIUJ74 Amber

I tried and before cause the same thing happened to me…the computer beeped at the coupon and the cashier wouldnt push it through.

    • Nathan

Not sure, but I had one the other day, 1 day expired, and the cashier pushed it through no problem.

    • Nikki

Did I figure this out correctly?? You repeated the Revlon scenario 2 more times. So, does that mean I need a total of 6 $2 off coupons? It will not let me print it that many times.

      • Mandy

yeah, you have to use (3) different computers to get all of the coupons…

    • Dana

I had a problem with the link supplied but i googled futuro and went directly to their site and printed one.

    • Nikki

also, you said to use a $2 off Rembrandt coupon from 5/16 and 1/3, those would be expired by now. I think you've come up with a great scenario, but I don't see how it could work. thanks.

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

Rembrandt Q's are long lasting, as are Listerine. they have 6-12 months life to them usually.

    • Jen B.

The Pepsi coupon that printed says it expired Sept. 2,

    • Jencoupon1

If I have a B1G1 and 1.00 off coupon, can I use both of these on 2 of the same products??

      • Jodielynn23

        Yes, you can.

      • Freedomspradley1

The store I shop has been getting finicky about using two coupons like this. I've found if they scan the b1g1 coupon first it works but if it goes the other way around the register beeps.

    • Lucy

The Rembrandt coupons from the 1/3/10 RP don't expire until 1/31/2011.

The Rembrandt coupons from the 5/16/10 RP don't expire until 12/31/2010.

    • purwiggy

There was also a notice on the front of the 19-Sep circular (for my area at least) which said “Get $10 in coupons for scanning your ExtraCare card at the coupon center” so make certain to scan your card before you shop next week. No break-down on what those coupons might include…

    • Cjsmom1990

Are ECB's accepted at any of the grocery stores?

      • Jodielynn23

        No, only at CVS.

      • Laura S.

Yes, most Publix stores will accept them if they are considered a competitor.

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

That is a YMMV question, I have no store sin my area that accept them. Others do. Ask you CS person.

    • Ant0288

typically yes you can. the 1 dollar off is on one of them and the b1g1 is off the other

    • Lucy

Not using a $5/$40 coupon? Really? That would be like throwing away $5! It would be so easy to reach $40 in purchases that would be free after coupons/ECBs this week. Even with just one computer to print only 2 printables you could easily make a profit to use to buy other essentials this week!

Where did you find the coupon for the buy lipstick get nail Polish Free? Good Deal by the way!

There is a new $5 off $25 coupon available last night from CVS online good at the stores. But ends the 19th.

    • Stephen

check the website for CVS it tells you there.

      hmmm…..CVS on my bad side right now. I shop here every week, AND have all our prescriptions filled here to the tune of over $2400 per year……and my e-mail box has yet to present me a $5 off $40! {{drums foot and raises eyebrow}}

i have one $10. and one $4. ECB's for CVS can you use those in the same transation or is it one per transcation.

      • DonnaTN

I am so bummed! The Greenville, SC paper didn't have this one. I'm thinking I might just order these coupons from a clipping service…

    • Lolabolabola

      where do you get the $5 /$ 40 coupon…?

    • DonnaTN

Don't forget about the free charm when you purchase $15 in beauty care!

    • Mndyeelain

Does this mean I can buy a mascara, then go back and get another one and pay for IT with the ECB, and it will print another ECB again, and I can repeat this til I get to the limit 6?? Is this correct

      • DonnaTN

        Yup!

    • Moms-coupons

I had previously posted this somewhere else thos past Tuesday, and wanted to re-post here…

FYI – When I went to use my $4/$20 q tonight, the cashier started writing numbers on the coupons before putting them in the drawer. When I asked what was going on (politely :) ), she told me that some stores were pushing through ANY Q for any item. To combat the problem, they now have to write down the transaction number and their initials on each individual coupon so that their manager can spot check by randomly pulling Qs, retrieving the transaction from the system, and making sure the item the Q is for was actually an item purchased.

I don’t know if this is something going on just in my area or not (I live in the New Orleans area), but I wanted everyone to know. The cashier said it’s not so bad during slow times, but during peak hours it can really hold up the line. So, if you notice this happening, and have lots of Qs or may be doing multiple transactions, have a little patience with your cashier, and maybe let the person behind you go between transactions. I like my CVS; the cashiers are all very nice, and she sounded apologetic and upset that this was happening.

    • Mandy

I think that's the problem, Jerry. When I 1st signed up with CVS, I got coupons every week for $ off of a purchase. Now I never get coupons. I hear that the more you go, the less coupons you get :(

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jerry-Lane/100001539252522 Jerry Lane

So maybe CVS needs to be put in timeout for a little while. Make them realize how much they should appreciate me. lol…yeah right.

      • guest

check your spam. I found one today.

    • Mandy

sign up to receive emails from CVS online – you have to enter your card #, email, etc. Even then, coupons are usually given out randomly, but I think you will get an initial coupon for signing up :)

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jerry-Lane/100001539252522 Jerry Lane

Thanks, that'll get me 4 of 20 coupon, according to website. Never seen that before, til I went looking. Gave them my email when I first signed up for extracare….way back when it first came out, or it may have been when they bought out Revco….think that's when I switched to CVS.

Anyway, signed up, hopefully will start getting something. Thanks again!!

    • Deb

Publix, if they consider CVS a competitor. You can call & ask your Publix customer svc before you go.

    • Wcushelley

I noticed that they were doing this at our Walmart now too.

cant find the right guard $1 coupon what zip code is used?

    • rw

Anyone having difficulty printing Right Guard coupons? The $1.50 off ones say I've already printed (I haven't) and I can't find the $1 off ones (zip code?)

      • Sandy

Go to Rite guards website. You can click on the $1.50 coupon offer there

    • Shortbutsweet30217

I got one sent to my email. I signed up on their website to receive emails. I often get $5 off of $20 or $25.

    • Qpon

I am aggravated with the Revlon Qs – tried to print twice and got two pictures of a lipstick with no coupon. Now site says that I have already printed my limit. Any ideas?

What would happen if you use a B1G1 man. q for items that are on sale for B1G1 50% off? I noticed the CVS ad had Axe body wash B1G1 50% off and I have a B1G1 man. q

      • Guest

does anyone know the answer to this?

        • Laura S.

For example, if Axe body wash is $4.99 and you have a B1G1 coupon, you must get two body washes. You would pay $2.48 for both.

          • Guest

So if CVS is running it B1G150% off and I have a B1G1 man. q. then would the second one be $1.24?

        • Moms-coupons

I’ve not tried this one yet, but I think you will still get the full price of one off of your total when you present a BOGO coupon. If the item is $4, then for 2 items totaling $8 at original price, the BOG050% would bring your total to $6 ($4+$2) and the BOGO coupon should subtract another $4, making it 2 for $2.

    • millie

there is a b1g1 glade fabric and air coupon from ss 8/01 or 08/08 (i think) i cut my coupons out every week and am not sure about this, but is expires on 09/19, so check your folders…

    • Saeweardsmith

I dont know it for a fact…but I sure believe it! I go almost weekly..and I got them in the beginning….I get NOTHING now! My SIL never shops and I helped her with a CVS run and she had 4 trx…and got 4….$4 off $20 Q;s….that is messed up!!! That is why I love RITE AID!!!! The reward LOYALTY!!!!!

      • pfsinnh

I think CVS is fixing this. I had stopped going to CVS for this reason and one day I went in there to grab a bottled water and out popped a whole bunch of $/$$ with my receipt.

I also noticed that I started getting the $/$$ emails again. I think they missed my money, but it's sad that they only send me these special coupons when I haven't been around lately. They don't let me use one or print one whenever I want and that makes me feel unappreciated.

    • Lee

Jenny – thanks so much for the “getting started” scenario. I keep hearing about all this money people save at CVS and the other drug stores, but it's seemed too overwhelming to try. I've been couponing at Publix for 5 mos now and have that down, so I'm ready to give CVS a try.

    • Mel

I'm also wondering about the $1 Quaker oatmeal coupon… went to their site and couldn't find it anywhere. Anybody have a direct link? Thanks!

      • Kelly

I believe that mine was printed from RedPlum.com

    • Amy

That happened to me a while ago. I contacted Revlon from their website and they mailed me some coupons. It probably wouldn't arrive in time for this deal, but I was able to use it later for another deal. Their customer service was great!

    • Amy

Not sure why my original post didn't post under Qpon's questions, so I am trying it again….

Is there any other location to get the CVS Store Coupon for Rembrandt from, other than the magazine listed above?

    • Cadgurl1

I live in Greenville, SC. The absolute BEST cvs to go to in this area is the one at 291 and E. North Street. The manager there is Greg and he is SO helpful to couponers so all his employees are too. So why am I on my soap box about this? Because my fav cvs just got even better. I just found out that instead of honoring both week's sales starting at 6:00pm on Saturday night, they start it at 9:00am on Saturday morning! Many of you may have known this already but since I just found out, thought I would post for everyone just in case you didn't know!

    • couponlvr

I went to the quaker site on facebook. I clicked “like” on the screen where Bob Harper is talking and then “enter now” twice. This directed me to a “print coupon” screen. HTH!

    • anna

I have a coupon for nivea that says buy 2 get $4.00 off for nivea products. Can I use this for the body wash?

    • sweets31

You're list is so totally awesome!!!

    • Mel

It DOES help… thanks! The link attached above takes me to the Quaker site–not to their facebook site. Thanks again and have a fabulous weekend!

    • anna

I could not find their facebook page

    • wendyc33

i did not mean to hit like to your post. I think they do that to new customers when they start out with them. I for one got many of them, and still do all the time. Im not sure why your not getting any of them. You might want to try checking your junk mail box too. All i know is rite aid is VERY confusing to me., and I dont like to pay so much up front, and then wait on them to reimburse you later. I like the satifaction of cvs, and paying hardly nothing out of pocket each week. The savings for me there have been too great to change to anywhere else, esp. rite aid. If you dont like cvs, why are you on this site at all. lol.

    • wendyc33

This post above was in reply to saeweardsmith below. Sorry.

    • Cwalkden

I shop CVS weekly and get coupons all the time, just got another one today in my email for $5/$25.

    • Bdaddy8305

Thats because people use the wrong coupons for the item. Just so they can make a better deal. To bad that happens it ruins it for everyone.

    • http://www.facebook.com/amy.c.vasquez Amy Vasquez

Ok, I'm a new CVSer and I have the $4/$20 q. Will you guys tell me if this is a good scenario for my 1st “trip”?

Buy 3 of the Right Guard Total Defense @ 2.99 a piece

      Use 3 of the $1.50 q's

      Total paid $4.47

      Earned $6.00 ECB

      2nd Transaction

Buy 2 Revoln Super Lustrous Lipsticks

      2 Nail Colors

      Total of $25.96

      Use my $4/$20 q

      $2 q for the lipstick

      $2 q for the lipstick

q for the free nail color – $5.99

q for the free nail color – $5.99

      $6 ECB from 1st transaction

      total discounts of $25.98

Which would put me at -.02 before taxes, so I know I'll have to pay a little, but is this the right way to CVS? I've read all the stuff on here about how to do it, but its still confusing to my mind for some reason. Thanks for your help and any advance!

      • Johnandleah

you should be able to do this. They'll have to adjust your $6 ecb down by 2cents to 5.98 but as long as you don't mind losing the 2 cents yu're good! All you'll owe is tax on that 2nd transaction.

        • Mizunderstood1979

          Thanks!

    • julie

There is a $3 off 2 right guard total defense coupon on coupons.com.

    • Jessie

Sounds like it wouldn't be a problem if everyone who used coupons was honest. It bugs me how a few people can cause such a problem for everyone….

    • Daniel

Rite Aids Wellness Plus program has wellness rewards that work just like ECBs, so their program doesn't take longer to get your money if you use them. The single check rebates take longer, but its still free products.

    • Tabitha

my cvs wont let me use ecb's if it puts the transaction into the negative so i am not sure if that will work for you, but you can try it and good luck to you.

    • Leigh

I don't like Wellness Plus, just a $10 purchase of a specialized catagory and you can't combine coupons. Total rip off.

      • pfsinnh

That's not true. You can combine coupons there (store plus manufacturer's).

I just got done buying $30 worth of Johnson & Johnson's baby bath, baby shampoo, and Desitin (about 8 items total). I used $10 in store coupons, and $8 in manufacturer's coupons. Spent $12 out of pocket and got back $26 in UP's rewards (the equivalent of ECB's).

That's a $14 MONEY MAKER! The store is just as good as CVS and CVS is great.

    • Saeweardsmith

      In Rply to wendyc33!

1st, I wasnt saying that I dont like CVS and that I havent saved a ton with them. The replys are not working today and I was simply commenting on another post. I just dont understand why some people get the coupons and others do NOT!

I I too thought RA was confusing but come to find out, it is NOT! You do have to wait for some money to come(but if you set up right, then you use your UP's on those…so really you are getting paid) to you but they have the same system that CVS has…they call them UP's vs ECB. They actually have a ton of benefits that CVS does not have. Again, they reward ALOT. I will continue to use both but I do alot more at RA these days….you really should check it out again…you would be surprised…I sure was!!!

    • Fgavent

Does your store take the $4/20 or $5/25 coupons after the expiration date? I don't like to shop on Sundays (or Saturday nights). One clerk very willing took it the Wednesday after it expired on Sunday but another clerk questioned it. THANKS!

    • Saeweardsmith

      In Reply to Leigh

I combine Q's all the time. They have Video Values(can be further explained) that can be combined with MQ and then if there is a Q in the ad..you can use all 3!!! I have done it! The other cool thing is that if you get a rain check…they actually take off the UP reward when you purchase it…which is fine with me…I had 3 rain checks just 2 days ago….I got Boudreaux Butt Paste, gain dish soap, and Nivea Mens body wash….no kidding..I paid .40..out the door!!!!!

      Just thought I would share!!!

    • Nikki

Why can't I find the free Revlon nail polish w/ lipstick purchase in 9/12 SS? I have 2 copies of the same SS and it's not in either one. Just a $1 off Revlon product. :( I like Lucy's scenario too.

      • Guest

        I think it's a regional coupon. I don't have it either.

    • Motcmom

I have a question. On the larger scenario above, step 1, then “repeat 2 times”……why would you repeat the same thing twice more (just to get the free product?) if it's just a $ wash…..Just getting started and was wondering.

I don't have some of these coupons, because I am just getting started in this couponing thing. I do like CVS better than the other drug stores. I seem to have better luck there. I have gotten more rainchecks in the last week than I have my entire life LOL!!

Thanks for all the valuable information!

      • Val

I don't stockpile on things I don't need, or will take me forever to use. But with lipstick– I stockpile. Different shades for different days, nights, and moods :).

      • Moms-coupons

Jenny's repeating the scenario to reduce her OOP expense. If she combined all three transactions together, with one $10 ECB to start, she would come out of pocket $20. By breaking them in to separate transactions and only using ECBs to pay, all that's coming OOP is tax.

    • Debra

Thank you Diane for answering my question.

    • Ahensley01

random question…but do any of you know how to change the color settings when printing coupons? i've set the default for all other items as black, but whenever i print out coupons they're still printing out in color. any help would be appreciated! thx!

      • Johnandleah

I about pulled my hair out over this! I finally just took the color cartridge out and my printer recognized that I only had a black one in there and printed it all in black.

      • Caroline

I recently started having trouble with this too and have asked on other blogs and not gotten a response. I have my defaults set for grayscale and fast draft and everything still prints like that, except coupons.com or bricks coupons. I think those sites must have changed something to override default settings. My printer doesn’t work unless both ink cartridges are in there so I have to settle for color on those. VERY FRUSTRATING!

    • auhammy

New to couponing…When purchasing something such as the Revlon lipstick, can you use the $2 coupon AND the free nailposh coupon at the same time? I have always wondered this, but never tried it!

      • mlm

Trick is to find the CVS where the managers know their own companies coupon policiy which states when buying two items with a bogo coupon a customer can use that coupon on the “get one” and a second coupon on the “buy one” as long as the second coupon does not exceed the initial price of the “buy one”.

    • lovingcoupons

I would almost be able to do the whole same second scenario but I don't have the 1 off of Schick Hydro Shave Gel. So I will just have to see what else I can come up with and spend little money :)

    • rebecca

Thank You very much, that does help A LOT!!!

    • Pets2and2

On my printer, I click to open the printer (drop down from file)- not the printer icon. When the printer page opens, click preferences. Then click greyscale, then ok. I have to do this each time, but it saves color ink. That works on my printer- hope it works for you.

    • Tina

She is “stockpiling”…you can read more about it on the site. She basically got 6 tubes of lipstick for nothing. It doesn't go bad….so, isn't that cool!?

      • mlm

lipstick goes bad. It starts to go on like a crayon and (smells like it too) after about 6-9 months. So if you don't mind that then by all means “STOCKPILE”

        • guest

My favorite Revlon lipstick is way more than 1 year old. Still working fine. Maybe temperature changes could affect longevity.

    • Nikki

oh ok. so some have it and some don't. bummer. that's okay. I'm going to come up w/ my own scenario and it's gonna rock. Will post later :)

    • Mystikal

Has anyone been able to print the Quaker Oats coupon? I have tried the link, but it does not show the coupon.

    • Val

Oh, my goodness. No ones replies are appearing in the right spot. It's giving me a headache! :) Good thing I've stocked up on Motrin, and Tylenol, and Asprin….

    • Heather_three2487

I had the same problem with my printer so I just ended up taking out the colored cartridge and now it just prints in black and white. Whenever I need a colored copy just pop the colored cartridge right in.

    • michelle

      Here is my plan:

      total due: $8.98 +tax

      transaction two:

      Total due; nothing
      Get back $5.00 ECB

      Transaction three:
      2 right guard @ 2.99

      Total OOP: $9.32
      Total saved: $34.81

    • Little Niblet

Printed the Pepsi Max coupon. It expired on 9-2-10. Do not waste your ink, or your paper.

    • Jessie

HELP PLEASE! This is my third week CVSing and I am starting with $3 ECB's….so far I haven't been able to come up with a scenario that helps me get more than $5ECB's total….is that normal? How do you get up to 10? Does it just take time? Also, I'm spending about $1 per transaction on each of my scenarios – is that too much? Any help would be great! I have put my transactions below for critiquing….Thanks!

      Transaction #1

      (2) Right Guard Total Defense 5 $5.98

      -$3/2 Right Guard coupon

      -$3ECB's

      =FREE + $4 ECB's

      Transaction #2

      (2) Right Guard

      -$3/2 Right Guard coupon

      -$2 ECB's

      -$1oop

      Get $2 ECB's (I still have 4 ECB's)

      Transaction #3

      (2) Quaker Instant Oatmeal ($5)

      -(2) $1/1 coupons

      -$2 ECB's

      -$1 oop

      Get 2 ECB's (still have $4 ECB's)

      Transaction #4

      (1) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick ($6.99)

      – $2/1 coupon

      -$4 ECB's

      -$1oop

      Get $5 ECB's

      Transaction #5

      Huggies diapers ($8.99)

-$3 Huggies Pure & Natural coupon

      -$5 ECB's

      -$1oop

      Get $3ECB's

Thanks again, and sorry this was so long….

      • el

You can get $3EBC on Huggies if you buy two of them not one

      • Diane

        Jessie,
This looks good, but in #2,you won't be able to use 2 ECBs, because it'll print a $4 ECB in #1. If you put #2 and #3 together, it will work.

    • lovingcoupons

For some reason when I register for soft scrub to get the B1G1 that coupon doesn't show up I'm getting a 1 off. It'd be nice to get the B1G1 because then I can use two 1off coupons and get them both for free but its not coming up :( anyone else have this problem??

      • Coupons777

can't find the BIGI either. Also, noticed old comments on the site where people were looking for a BIGI. Bummer

    • Faith

      thanks

    • lovingcoupons

I think I have figured out my 4 Scenarios unless it changes once I actually see the ad on Sunday, because actually having it with me changes things sometimes

Transaction 1,2,&3 are the same as Jenny's I am also starting out with 10 ECB

The futuro deal is AMAZING! I used to use those when I was a cashier and paid full price because they are rarely on sale and went through the first pair of wrist splints fast, bought another pair, and now don't use them as much but some nice new ones would be fantastic! I highly recommend the ones w thumb splint even if they cost a little more. Without it its almost pointless (for tendonitis, like I get).

    • Eldris

i was wondering the same thing

Better coupon for diapers on huggies website http://www.huggies.com/en-US/promotions/coupons/?WT.mc_id=HUG_Emailcoupons
Save $2.50 on any little snugglers or little movers!!!

      • Spaslp

Thanks! I couldn't get any of the other ones to print.

    • Jeannie

I think you are referring to Rite Aid, not CVS in this explanation.

    • Samantha White

I'm having the same problem. Quaker site doesn't even mention coupons!

      • coupontastic

Go to quaker site on facebook. Coupon should print from there unless all the prints are gone.

    • Lois

If I buy two same items at the same time that are offering ECB will I get two separate ECB coupons back?

      • Natalie559

no, just one for the combined amount

    • Beth

AUHAMMY asked and I couldn't find a response… looking for the same answer.

When purchasing something such as the Revlon lipstick, can you use the $2 coupon AND the free nailposh coupon at the same time? I have always wondered this, but never tried it!

      • Val

This is a YMMV situtation. Some cashiers will let you do it, others won't. The argument is that one coupon “attaches” to the lipstick ($2 off), and the other coupon attaches to the “nail polish” so it's one coupon per item, but some would argue without the nail polish you can't get the lipstick! It's confusing, but won't hurt to try… have a back up scenario just in case.

    • Jlyons55

If you buy 2 lipsticks and get $10 back and then repeat transaction can you use the $10 ECB from the first transaction and still get $10 more back? I thought you couldn't use ECBs from one product on the purchase of the same product. Is that just Walgreens I'm thinking of?

      • Vijtai01

u can do this way at CVS, and yes u r thinking of Walgreens.

      • nina

You can use the $10 on the next transaction up until you reach your limit of 6. You are thinking of Walgreens limiting use of rr's. Use your 10 ecb and do up to 3 transactions.

    • KelliSC

      CVS Advisor survey?

Did anyone else get the CVS Advisor survey – take it on Sunday morning and get an automatic $10 ECB??? Should make for some AWESOME deals. I already have $7 ECB's and a $5/$40 too.

      • Pojero

I got it too. Gonna be a good week.

I've rcvd emails like that before. one time it was a pharmacy survey and i rcvd $15 ECB. I love CVS!!!

    • Jessie

Thanks for the help guys! Maybe I'll skip the diapers….

    • Kristen B

I am fairly new to big CVS transactions. Can anyone tell me if I am doing this right or could do it better? (With the exception of the glucose meter, I actually NEED everything…still working on stockpiling).

Starting with $5 ECB from last week…

      #1 1 Glucose Meter, $14.99

      2 Futuro knee braces, $22.58

      = $40.67 with tax

      – $5 off $40 CVS coupon

      – $10.00 glucose q, 2 $3.00 Futuro q's

      – $5 ECB

      = $14.67 oop, get back $10 ECB ($5, $5)

      #2 1 Revlon mascara, $6.99

      = $7.57 with tax

      – $1.00 Revlon q

      – $5 ECB

      = $1.57 oop, get back $5 ECB

      #3 1 Right Guard deodorant, $2.99

      2 Quaker oatmeals, $5.00

      = $8.65 with tax

      – $1.50 Right Guard q, $1.00 Quaker q, $0.75 Quaker q

      – $5 ECB

      = $0.40 oop, get back $5 ECB

      #4 1 Huggies Pure & Natural diapers, $8.99

      1 Huggies wipes, $8.99

      1 BioTrue contact solution, $8.99

      = $29.20 with tax

      – $3.00 Huggies diapers q, $0.50 Huggies wipes q, $2.00 BioTrue q

      – $10 ECB

      = $13.70 oop, get back $5 ECB

    • Siaulisa

I printed out 2 of the Revlon lipstick coupons from my home computer and went to out local library with my daughter in law to log into her facebook and my husband's and printed the other 4 I needed to follow the “larger sceanrio” If you are going to take advanatge of this scenario, I believe there is a limit of 2 per ip address.

    • Heycarters

      **Deal Idea**
      Buy:
      (2) Excedrin products 24 ct., $4.79
      (2) Excedrin Express Gels 20ct., $5.49
      Use:
      (4) -$1 off Excedrin
      Total Due: 16.56
Get Back: $10 ECB, makes it $1.64 ea

In this scenario the total came to below $20.00 with the 4 coupons. The deal is: spend $20 worth of Excedrin products, get $10 ECB, right?
I tried the same thing last week with Pampers and Johnson & Johnson products. If I remember correctly the deal was: spend $20 on these aforementioned products, get $10 ECB. Well, with coupons and previous ECB's my total came to just below $20 (like the Excedrin scenario), but my $10 ECB wouldn't print off because my total wasn't $20 or over! Am I the only one this has happened to?!? I don't understand!

      • Val

As long as your total is over the $20 before coupons the ECB should print. Perhaps you bought the wrong J&J products? Some of them weren't part of the deal. You can either call CVS customer service or take your receipt back to the store along with a copy of the ad, and see if they can give you the ECB.

If I remember right the deal was the week of 09/05 and it was spend $25 get 10 ECB.

      • SarahBK

I believe that the J&J was 10 ECB wyb $25 of product. When I did the deal I bought the box of diapers and 2 lotions. Totaling $25. HTH

    • Melanieplynch

      No fair!

    • Hollyewallace

I can't find the B1G1 Soft Scrub coupon (I registered and still can't find it…) Has anyone found it?

    • Heather_three2487

Any idea of where I can find the CVS September Real Simple Magazine for the Rembrandt coupon??

    • Susan

In the “Real Simple” magazine….I have a subscription to it.

    • Jlynnb143

I have a question about ECBs. Say I have $6 ECB from a previous purchase and I bought an item that cost $4 with an ECB of $2. Would it be $6 – $4 = $2 + $2 ECB? Do the ECBs roll like that? Or does the $2 extra from the $6 ECB disappear which is why filler items are needed?

      • Moms-coupons

The extra $2 would disappear. You don't get money back on an ECB, and it doesn't go towards tax. I've lost a few cents here and there, but I wouldn't use a $6 ECB to purchase a $4 item. I would find something for about $2 that you could use around the house, since you would essentially be getting it for free anyway! A single roll of paper towels, a box of tissue…

    • Lucy

In reply to Jlynnb143 re: ECB usage

In your example you are wanting to buy an item that costs $4 and it is giving a $2 ECB after you purchase it. You also have a $6 ECB from a previous purchase that you want to use.

Your item only costs $4 so if you used your $6 ECB to buy it, you'd lose $2 of the ECB's value if you spent it on a $4 item. What you could do would be to find another item like the High Energy Chews which are $1.99 with a $1.99 ECB for the month of October. So, your purchase would consist of your $4 item and the High Energy chews for $1.99 for a total of $5.99. You'd pay with your $6 ECB (losing $.01 value of the ECB but that's okay in my book…) and you'd receive a $2 ECB and a $1.99 ECB.

You could also buy other items like Right Guard deodorant that is $2.99 and use the $1.50 or $1.00 printable coupon to bring your total to $6 or more if you didn't need the High Energy Chews….

    • Jbush27

They don't roll over. You either have to use the whole amount or lose it, so I would get a filler item.

    • Keri D.

So I just had to brag!!

6 tubes of Revlon Lipstick $7.99 BOGO1/2 off

4 Air Wick Aqua Mist 4/$10 (from the ad that ends today)

      3 Right Guard $2.99

      3 Excedrin 100ct $8.99

      Total OOP: $12.39!!!!! I saved 76.61!!!

It was a lot of transactions *8 total* but I'd say that it was worth it! And I still have 9 ECB's for next week! Woohoo!

      • pfsinnh

I think that is awesome that a CVS employee is getting excited about CVSing!

You don't know how many times I go into a store and do a “happy dance” after paying .98 cents for $40.00 worth of stuff and the person behind the cash register just rolls her eyes.

I just feel like grabbing her shoulders and shaking her and saying, “Don't you get it? I don't have to pay for this stuff! And you don't have to call the police to arrest me! Join us!”

I'm glad you “get it”. ;)

    • Like2coupondou

can anyone tell me where to find the free lipstick coupon

    • Smaples23173

Does anyone know how the Tinker Bell movie ecb will work? When I went in today, the cashier said they can't release the movie until 9/28, but I didn't find the ecb deal in the CVS ad starting on 9/26. I am just so confused and wanted to use my 10 ecb from excedrin purchase to get this for my daughter!

    • Lucy

In reply to Smaples23173: The Tinker Bell movie will be released on Sept. 21 so you'll be able to buy it when your CVS opens for business this coming Tuesday.

    • Smaples23173

      Yay! Thanks so much!

    • momof3inATL

What city are you in? I found it in a CVS in suburbia but it wasn't in my intown store.

    • momof3inATL

Jessie: When I first started it did cost some OOP $ to get started. I was okay with this investment as I've hardly spent a penny since. Overtime, the initial OOP expenditure diminishes in overall cost. The old addage.. It takes money to make money. Good luck! PS keep all our receipts. You never know when you might need them.

    • millie

i have never shopped on saturday do the ecbs print on sat. for the next weeks ad?? thanks!

    • lynn

      yes.

    • lynn

sorry i was saying yes to an earlier question, i forgot the replies aren't posting correctly. this is in response to beth about using the lipstick coupon and the nail poish coupon together. yes you can.

    • AnonymousCVS

It all depends on the product. Because Revlon had a sale going on this week (9/11-9/18) of buy one get one 1/2 off, the deal starting 9/19 wasn't working (Buy 1 at 6.99, get 5 ECBs) So everything had to be keyed in. So just make sure you're looking to see how everything is ringing up!

    • lynn

i just went to cvs i have never shopped on saturday before and i was completely humiliated. i was trying to do the revlon deal and it did not work, so the cashier tried to modify everything and that made it worse then we needed the manager….it ended up with me going back tomorrow and starting all over. i was so embarrassed. like i said i had never shopped on sat for the next week and several people in cvs told me that it would be no problem for the ecbs to work…..never again. sorry i just needed to vent and have anyone understand…thanks!

      • Sarah

This is what happened to me tonight…I bought 2 Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks. They rang up as $7.99 and also “Buy One Get One 50 %”. When there are different back-to-back Revlon deals, the CVS registers will “pick” which deal is technically better on Saturdays. So my cashier just changed them both to $6.99 with no B1G1 50% off and then she manually printed my ECB's!! You just have to make sure you are watching as they are scanned so you can point any errors like that! HTH

      • kim

I went to my usual CVS and I usually do go on Saturday with no problem. Sadly I had the only cashier in the store who always gets my coupons wrong. I tried the Revlon deal. She wouldn't put it through and then the ECBs I used to pay for it wouldn't credit back to me. After that was finally refunded, there was another problem with my second transaction. I honestly think I left and lost money and about 30 minutes of time waiting. After I went to my car, I realized another transaction didn't print my ECBs either, so I just returned the items. I understand!

      • coupontastic

I had the same problem. My revlon deal didn't work and the cashier was very rude (even after I showed her the ad and the lipsticks I bought–she still insisted that i'd picked up the ones that weren't included in the sale). It is very insulting to me to be accused of doing something unethical, when I'm only purchasing items in their sales paper according to their terms.

    • sweet momma

how can you say “nothing due”? I was told you had to pay sales tax!!!!

      • Sandy

Maybe she lives in Alaska. :) No sales tax!

        • DonnaTN

Referring to how she stated her comment only came out that she thought it was TOTALLY free. Unless you live somewhere that has no tax on certain items but just simply stated it would only make sense to pay tax. :)

      • DonnaTN

Well you would pay no out of pocket meaning nothing due. It would only make sense to pay taxes on anything.

      • http://www.southernsavers.com/ Jenny

        Hey there,

Sadly every government will always want their share, since we all have different taxes and different amounts of those taxes all math on Southern Savers is before tax. In many states there is no tax on food, others no tax on pharmacy items, etc. there are just too many differences.

So it is better to leave tax unsaid and you just assume until the day you die you are paying tax.

    • sweet momma

easy fix… shop on sunday when the sale starts…

    • Siaulisa

I just left my CVS after attempting a Saturday purchase on the new Sunday ad and it was a nightmare. First off I called to verify that they would honor the pricing and was assured they would after 6 p.m.. I drove an hour to try to get the large scenario as by the time i get there on Mondaysmost of the “good” items are gone. The manager tells me the ad is not loaded, up with the rudest cashier. My store was also ringing up the B1G1 50%, in addition the lipstick coupon would not ring 2 in one tansaction. The cashier informed me I could only use one coupon per purchase….when I pointed out I was purchasing “2” items and should be allowed to use 2 coupons, she did an eyeroll and refused to do anything other than repeat in a louder voice the same thing she just tolod me. Im out 2 hours of my life, $10 in gas and very disenchanted with this particular CVS. I'm glad to hear that there are some store managers who “get it” when a couponer shops! I'll try again tomorrow. Has anyone else had a problem with the 2 lipstick coupons in one “purchase”?

      • Ligia

I did…My second $2 coupon would not scan, so the cashier told me the same thing your cashier told you. Then I explain the same thing you said. So the cashier was nice and manually enter the coupon for me. I’m sorry you had a bad day, I hope you have more luck on your next time at CVS :)

    • Oceanfan2001

Can't we all just follow the rules and shop when they say the sales starts on Sunday. Doesn't seem fair to those that follow the rules.

      • Sandy

Who is breaking any rules? Some stores start their sales on Saturdays. Sale stickers go up, and ECBs print for both weeks. A lot of managers encourage shoppers to come on Saturday to get the best of both weeks deals! The only time there is a problem is when sales overlap (like the Revlon deal).

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1255644422 Iris Potter

I always thought that they started the sales early for people who work night shifts in towns where CVS is not open 24 hours. For example, a single mom who has to wait tables and doesn't get off work until 3am, and needs to do her shopping right after work while a sitter is still sleeping on her couch. SAHMs and people with 9-5s often try to do their shopping on the way home from work.

      • Kim

If CVS starts the Sunday sale on Saturday then how are we breaking any rules? I don't see why you would say people are breaking rules or being unfair.

    • Francomom00

My CVS in Cumming, GA starts their sale at 6 pm on Saturday. They encourage us to come in early before the free items are sold out. That being said, the Revlon lipstick was not ringing up correctly but by looking at the ad, the cashier was more than happy to adjust the price and force print the ECBs. Also, I purchased two of the Edge shaving cream. The B1G1 coupon attached to both of them and I could not use the additional $.75 off coupon. On the plus side, I found CVS children's cold medicine marked down to $.55 a bottle!

    • SalleyCook8311

I stopped by one of the CVS in Orangeburg, SC tonight after work to get a few of the things in the current sales paper. I have shopped there now for weeks, each time using my coupons and the ECBs. The cashiers are always great and some even offer suggestions on how to ring up the purchases to allow me to use the ECBs I will be getting at that time. They get excited over my savings!! I always enjoy my shopping trips! Thanks Orangeburg and thanks Southen Savers for all you help me to save!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1255644422 Iris Potter

What kinds of CVS coupons are y'all getting from the red kiosk things this week?

      • momof3inATL

I received a $3 off of $15 purchase, several CVS store brand related item.. but the best of all was the $2 off 2x laundry detergent which makes this item FREE.. I plan to couple it with my $3 off of $15 purchase and other ECB deals this week.

        • kinsi

I got the same 2 off 2 Extra laundry detergent. I'm reading it as save 2 off 2 of them, making each 1$.

I also got 3 off 20 store brand, 3 off 20 hair care, 3 off dove chocolate, the beauty charm, and there's two more I'm forgetting. I got 7 of them this morning.

        • Mandi

It is $2 off of two Xtra Laundry detergent. I misread it too. Still only $1 each since they are on sale for 2/ $4.

    • Vijtai01

Has anyone received the $10 rebate from Aveeno? This was in 1st week of July. The rebate form said allow 6-8 weeks for delivery and it has been more than 8 weeks since I mailed it in. Please let me know.

I don't know about the coupons….I would just ask your CVS. But I have Pepsi Max in my fridge right now from a past sale, and I really like it! I think it tastes pretty good for 0 calories.

    • millie

i found a few, very few, of the revlon lipsticks that had a $2 off peelie on them.

    • GUNN

The Revlon coupon , free nail color wyb lipstick, was it really in the 9/12 SS?

      • LB514

It was in mine, from the Bham news

      • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

It was in the Charlotte Observer.

It was not in Greenville News. Instead $1 off color product.

      • Brande

It was not in Orlando. Boohoo!!

    • Brooke

      Haven't received mine yet either

    • wondering

If I were to get two Revlon lipsticks in the same transaction, would it print two $5.00 ECB, or a $10.00 ECB?

      • Savenmoney

It would print $10. Think I'll be doing mine in 2 separate transactions so I can get two $5 ECB's instead of one big $10 ECB.

      • Tiawashington

        I received $10 ECB.

    • Binkle

Just a heads up. I purchased 6 of the Revlon Lipsticks and used 6 of the $2.00 off coupons. I did 2 per transacation. Each second coupon beeped. Neither of us could figure out why. During the last transaction the girl said, I just can't figure out why these are beeping and then she saw it said limit 1 per transaction. She had already pushed them all through and was happy to do it since I could have done 6 different transactions. Just letting you know you may run into this too if you do multiple Revlon purchases in one transaction.

      • Sandy

Are you talking about the printable $2 off coupons? My coupons don't say that. They say “one coupon per purchase”

        • Binkle

Yes, I told her I thought that meant 1 coupon per item she said it meant per transaction. She said purchase and transaction meant the same thing??? I'm really not sure which one of us were right. I'm pretty sure I've used coupons before that said that and the register never beeped.

    • Jlynnb143

When I try to print out the Right Guard Defense 5 coupon, it says “Sorry! You have already printed this coupon the number of times allowed.” I've not even printed the coupon at all!

And the Revlon lipstick will only let me print out two coupons. Do I need to access it from another FB account or an IP address or both to print more?

      • Mandy

Jlynn – try searching for Right Guard Defense 5 coupon in your search engine. I was able to go to the manuf. website & print 2 by giving them my email. That worked for me.

You are correct about the lipstick. You need 3 different computers to print 2 coupons each…

      • Kimboone123

I had the same problem with the Right Guard. However, I went to coupon mom website and there was a coupon for $3 of 2, which comes out to be $1.50 off each one. I printed 2 out and just purchased 4 (even thought I didn't get the ECB's for the 4th one). I just returned from CVS and it worked just fine. Got the 4 deoderants, 2 oatmeals (with 2 $1 off coupons), and 2 edge shave gels (I had a B1G1 coupon and a 75 cent off coupon for the other one), and I used 9.99 in ECB, and only paid about $1.60! I hope that helps.

    • Mazzmom3

Can anyone tell me the policy on the $25 gift card with a new or tranferred RX?

I had two new RX's at two different locations. I dropped off one near my house and the doctor called in a new which I sent to location near my work as I intended to pick up during lunch. I was told that you are only able to get gift card with register coupon and only one offer per household within a 30 day period. Can anyone help me?? I am so confused!!!!!

      • Mandy

Usually you do have to have a coupon or possibly a competitor's coupon for that deal. They randomly print out from the red machine/price scanner or sometimes you can receive them thru the mail. Sorry :(

    • PB

I need some help understanding this. Is it possible to leave CVS without spending any money at all? I tried using Jenny's scenario today. First of all, I had to buy each lipstick separately b/c the register would not allow them both in in the same transaction. I ended up paying 56 cents for each lipstick b/c of tax. For the deodorant, shave gel and quaker products I had to pay 2.50 which again the cashier said was the tax. Just wanted to make sure I am understanding this correctly?! Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!! PB

      • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

Jenny's totals are always before tax. In most states, you are required to pay sales tax on the full amount before coupons. I rationalize this by recognizing the fact that retail outlets are required to pay sales tax to the state for everything that they sell, regardless of the method of payment. CVS gives me such good deals, that I am usually more than happy to pay just tax.

        • PB

Thanks for responding! Still trying to figure all this out and it throws me off when I go in and the totals are different from what I have figured. This will help me to plan better! Thanks again!!

I did one on the deal above and after all my coupons and ECB I had to pay the tax. My ECB was for 4.99 and the cashier had to adjust it to 4.00 b/c that was my sub total. So today I learned that I have to pay tax out of pocket on my purchases.

      • macboy

Yes, you have to pay sales tax on coupon-ed items that are taxable. (In Florida, OTC medicine and grocery items are not taxed). When I had to do a warranty replacement on my Pur filter (on my 3rd filter), they sent me a coupon for a free replacement. I only had to pay tax.

    • IROD

RedPlum just put out a new Quacker Chewy Bars coupon ($1/2) and with the ECB deal, it's like getting them for FREE!

      • Irod

Sorry, just realized I did the math wrong. It's like getting them for $1/each.

    • Wendy_clifton

The Tinkerbell movie, is it just the DVD version or the DVD/Blue Ray combo?

    • Tobys_Mom

Good day at CVS but a little frustrating! I had the B1G1 edge shaving cream coupon and a 0.75 off 1 coupon and the guy wouldnt take the 0.75 off! He kept telling me that the B1G1 counted for both items. Sigh….I tried to tell him that that wasnt hwo it worked and that I did that all the time but it wasnt worth arguing with him. Despite that and having to buy a bunch of candy to get my sub total to $10 so I could use by ECBs that were expiring (obviously I didnt plan my trip as well as I thought) I still made 0.28 and got 3 deodorants, revlon lipstick and nail polish, 2 shaving creams, 2 bags of m&ms, gum and 2 hershey bars!

    • Laurel

are there any special tricks to figuring out how to get the least oop when making your own scenario? these scenarios are great. it's just that each family has different needs and I've never been able to create scenarios the way jenny does.

      • millie

you just have to sit down and make a list of what you want, get your coupons, take whatever ecbs you have and just make it work for you. it might take a while at first but once you do it a couple of time it gets easier. that is what i had to do with my scenario at cvs today and it was fine. hang in there!

      • Jennifer

I have found it much easier to just do one transaction. You pay more the very first time but end up with several ECBs which you can use all at once next week on one transaction and continue to roll them this way from week to week. This method is also more conducive to using the 5 off 25 coupons. I have never been faced with just “trying” to spend ECBs before they expire and this has greatly simplified my deal shopping. I would spend hours figuring out the best scenarios only to arrive at the store and find they don't have something!

        • Laurel

thanks for the advice! i think i'll do that from now on too. it sounds much simpler for sure and a lot less time wasted!

    • millie

just a heads up the revlon coupons were wreaking havoc this morning. i have great people at my cvs and we worked it out together so all was well. i had to change up my scenarios because it would not take 2 coupons in one transaction but it all worked out.

      • Binkle

Yeah, my first coupon went through fine but the second one beeped. She pushed them on through. I love my CVS too, the employees are awesome!!

      • wendyc33

Yes it didnt print my ecb for the revlon either. He had to manually print mine out. I also noticed that they ring up 7.99 still, not 6.99. He scanned my card too, so that wasnt it, and i had the free nail polish coupon when you buy the lipstick. The nail polishes are 4.99 each. So if anyone has this coupon you need to figure that price in. They didnt beep for me, but it didnt print the ecb, which is always frustrating, just glad i noticed it before I left.

    • newcouponer

What happens if you copy a coupon you have printed?

      • Sharon

The store does not get reimbursed. The coupons are serialized, so they know if you make a copy. The manufacturer also know where the coupon originally came from because the IP address is printed around the edge 35 times. To do this gives the store a bad taste for printable coupons, if they can't get reimbursed all the time and eventually they will stop taking them altogether. Please don't do this!!! Jenny has a post somewhere about this with more details.

        • Jlynnb143

But wouldn't printing the same coupon from the same website be like copying it (i.e. coupons from Facebook and stuff)?

          • Mandy

No because you are usually only allowed a limit of 2 coupons. It will say, “sorry, you've already printed your max amount,” etc…

            • Jlynnb143

Then how is it that Jenny can purchase 6 Revlon lipstick total? Is it a limit of 2 coupons per transaction?

Thanks, I'm new at this and it's nice to have some guidance.

            • coupcouphooray

It's 2 coupons per computer. If you have 3 computers in your home, then you can print a total of six coupons (all with different numbers).

            • macboy

I have a Mac with Bootcamp. That means I have two computers in one. I could use Macintosh to print 2 coupons and then reboot into Windows and print coupons. I've never really taken advantage of this though. The only time I've sort of done it is when I tried to print a $1 off coupon for Hefty bags and it said I missed my limit. I never used the coupon I printed a while back (that had expired), so I went into Windows to print it again.

            • bootsie

Can you help me? I can't print coupons from my Mac. I have both a MacBook Pro and a desktop Mac G4. Neither will print coupons. They both go through a router. The MacBook Pro prints wirelessly. We have tried everything.

      • Guest

        its fraud

    • debra

I just got back from CVS and I had a good day. I saved myself alot of money. I bought 3 right guard deodorants, 2 edge shaving gels, 1 pkg. of huggies pull ups, 1 bayer contour meter and 2 revlon lipsticks all for $8.56 oop after all my coupons and ecb's. My savings were $66. 28 and I ended up getting back $7.80 in ecb's to use next time. I had to really plan this trip out today. I did it in 2 transactions so I wouldn't have to spend as much money. Good Luck everyone on your shopping trip.

    • Kristin

Is anyone having trouble printing the right guard q's? It says I have already printed them…I even installed the printer software on my hubby's laptop and tried and it said the same thing…ugh!

      • Jlynnb143

Just google Right Guard Defense 5 and you'll find a bunch of other coupons.

      • Rosie

I am having the same Problem. I hope someone tell me how to get this coupon.

      • Mandi

Click on the NEXT button and it takes you to the site and you can register there and print it off. Most of hers that have NEXT will work that way. HTH!

    • NewbieQs

Can I print out two of the same coupon? Will the code be the same?

      • Guest

thats coupon fraud and you shouldn't do it.

      • Kmanganaro

you can print two per computer! Most coupons you can Print twice they will have different codes. After you print your two you shouldnt be able to print more. Hope that Helps

    • Tiawashington

I went to CVS and scored big. I purchased (2) Edge shaving gels, (2) Right Guard Total Defense 5, and (2) Revlon Lustrous Lipsticks. I used a BIGI Edge, 2/$3 off Right Guard, and 2 $3 off Revlon coupons. My total was a little over $11 and I received $15.80 in ECBs and a $3 off $15 purchse within the next 3 days.

    • june

Is anyone else having problems with red plum today? (sun) I can't get the coupons to print and when the page comes up saying that the coupons have been sent to my printer I get a “read time error” message and it shuts the window down.

      • Wareagle6

I had to switch browsers and finally it printed directly from the red plum site.

        • june

Thank you. Now to figure out how to switch browsers. I tried FF, but it does not work with something on my computer. (it's been a couple of months but I think it said it was not compatable with XP or maybe the windows version I use) I'll check into safari and see what that does.

    • Jane

I'm not sure if this is the best transaction out there, but we needed the snacks. Here is what I did:

      (3) – Revlon lipsticks (the lipgloss is included too!) – $7ea
      (2) – Quaker Oats Granola Bars – $2.50ea
      (1) Beauty Charm – $2.50ea

Used: $5/$25, $3/$10 grocery, Free Beauty Charm wyb $15.00 in Beauty products, (3) $2.00 off Revlon, (1) $1.00 off wyb 2 Quaker Oats, and $10 ECB from last week.

      Total – $1.00 (plus tax)
      Get Back: $17.00 ECB

The lipsticks will be used for Christmas presents. :)

      • momof3intATL

FYI – the CVS intown ATL does not include the lipgloss. I tried! :(

        • Laura S.

My CVS in South Carolina was not including the lipgloss or mascara – they only included lipstick.

      • Jane

Awh, bummer! Sorry guys! I did think it was odd that the lipgloss was included.. Interesting that some stores vary…

    • Kristen B

If you are going to buy the Revlon Double Twist Mascara, make sure you check the selection at your store before you just grab one. My CVS had bonus packs with 2 tubes of mascara in it, for the same price. So, after coupon and ECB, you get BOTH for free!

      My trip:

      #1

      – 1 Bayer Contour glucose meter

      – 2 Futuro Knee braces

Used: $5/$40, 2 $3.00 off Futuro, 1 $10.00 off Bayer, $5 ECB from last week

      Total: $14.37 oop, got back $10 ECB ($5, $5)

      #2

      – 2 Quaker oatmeal

      – 1 Revlon bonus pack mascara

Used: 2 $1.00 off Quaker, $1.00 off Revlon, $10 ECB

Total: $0.13 oop, got back $7 ECB for next week

      • Ddeifel2

I am just getting into this coupon thing, I have a question I noticed you got 2 knee braces and glucose meter. are these thing you just happened to need or did you get them cause they are almost free?

    • MaryB

I am not new to your website, but usually do not post. I just want to say thank you for the time and patience you put into the weekly CVS portion. I constantly refer to your scenerios and just today came home with $50.00 worth of merchandise for only .67. I appreciate all of your organization and hard work!

    • kinsi

I got a zillion coupons today when I scanned my card.

      Three of which are interesting:
      3$ off 20 store brand
      3$ off 20 hair car
      2 dollars off 2 # Xtra 2 X Detergent 28 loads

      All are good Monday only.

The Xtra 2x with the coupon and the deal this week makes them 1 dollar each if you buy two of them. Off to see if I can tinker and get a good deal with the hair one.

      • Mandi

I used my AXE B1G1 free from 8/29 (I believe) and I was able to use my 3/20 for haircair since my husband will use this on his hair too. LOL! The cashier was more than willing to try it and it worked just fine. I was able to get the full price AXE taken off and only had to pay for the 50% one for two. I had 5 coupons and some extra ECB's so my subtotal was ZERO for 10 AXE! :-)

Topped it all off with my free Aquapod waters at Food Lion and 6 free lipsticks!! Thanks Jenny!

    • Maggie

Great CVS trip today. (2) edge shave, (2) Right gaurd, (2) Renbrant tooth Paste, (2) Revlon Lip stick, (2) Xtra Laundry detergent (2) 3 pack Ivory soap,….OOP 2$ (I started w 25 ECB….got back 22.80 ECB

      ORLANDO Question:

I've read about some people saying that their CVS was including BBQ grills in their summer clearance sale. My CVS isn't doing that. Has anyone seen that anywhere in Orlando?

      • Bartontj

I”ve seen them marked down at 1 store in Port Orange but of course they were sold out.

      • NSBsaver

I haven't seen any summer goodies on sale in New Smyrna, except for some dishes.

      • alyw

my store in tampa area had them on sale last week for 6.75..i went today to get one and they are back up to 24.99 lol

    • Anita

I purchased a Varsity Snuggie but was disappointed that when it did not ring up as the $14.99 sale price noted on this site. I asked the cashier, and she said that only the solid color plain Snuggies are on sale. I checked their flyer and it does not say Varsity. ??? I guess I could have argued that they were all on display sided by side, so that is misleading, but the only information I had that the Varisty version was included in the sale was this web site. Anybody else have this problem?

    • Kendra

If you have a $5 off $25 coupon can you use it first before manufacturer coupons?? When I went to CVS this afternoon, the cashier told me that she had to scan the manufacturer coupons first. She said that the computer wouldn't take the manufacturer coupons if she scanned the $5 off $25 first. Can anyone tell me if this is correct???

      • Val

She is wrong. $5/25 can and should be used first.

      • millie

she is wrong. my cvs tells me that they need to scan the 5/25 (or whatever) first because if you don't the computer thinks you did not spend enough.

      • Freedomspradley1

I always give the $5 off $25 first but there have been instances when the cashier rearranged my coupons and I've never had it beep even when my total comes down below $10 after coupons.

      • tina

i guess if she wants to ring it up that way it is ok (?). as long as you get credit for it, if it does beep make sure the manager pushes it through for you.

      • Lookin4aBaragain

this is not correct, u have to ring that $5 off $25 first or it isn't going to work…once you use your Mfr Q's it's going to knock your total down. In fact I learned this FROM a CVS Cashier when I was “new” to the game!

    • Rhonda

At my CVS in Manassas, VA, the Reach Dental Floss is on sale for .99, with no limit on the number purchased. I used two $3 off 3 Reach Flosses q's, and got 6 free packages of dental floss! I didn't see this deal in the ad – just happened to notice it as I walked down the aisle.

    • Mothersaver

I was planning on trying the getting started scenario, but Ihave 2 coupons for $1 off one, and 2 coupons for $3 off 2. When I tried to print the $1.50 coupons from the link it said I've reached my limit. Any suggestions?

      • SResch01

Just create another email address and join again, then you can print all the coupons you've exceeded your limit on.

      • Mizunderstood1979

go to the Rightguard website and print the coupon from there…it worked for me.

    • Ptblues222

      CVS is bleak this week.

      • Artmom

It is always funny to me how everyone has such different opinions. I am way to excited over Revlon lipstick and fee nail polish. I guess it all depends on what you are in to. Hope next week fits you better.

      • Fallaya

Yeah, I agree…next week doesn’t look too promising either. I’m just trying to “roll” my EBC’s for the next two wees so they don’t expire. Sometimes rolling ebc’s is not worth the effort, especially if there’s nothing you really need or want.

    • Mrg1205

Is anyone having issues printing off the huggies coupons! I can't find them anywhere!

      • Laurel

the link for the $4/2 takes me to the smart source Qs on southernsavers. but i can't print them. nothing happens at all when I click the print button. i've even tried printing other Qs but still nothing!

      • Guest

        use zip code 10011

    • guest

Does anybody know if you use the ECB that you got from buying the lipstick to buy more lipstick would it print new ECB?

      • Stefany

yup you can I did it Yesterday

      • millie

yes it does! my cvs computer was having issues so we had to ring up 4 lipsticks seperatly and the ecb printed correctly every time! yaay!

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Helen-Popan/574362095 Helen Popan

I cant get those $2 off Kiss nails coupons.. :/ anyone having the same problem?

      • millie

it told me “no more prints availible”…

    • di

i know there is a limit on revlon 6.99 get 5.00 bucks back but is it showing on anyones receipt at the bottom that u reached ur limit

      • tschmoka

It did not show on mine. And I saw somewhere that ECB even prints out if you buy 10. Just do not buy more than 6 in one store. I did not try to exceed the limit of 6 though.

        • di

me either i just got my 6. i was just wondering lol

      • tina

i noticed that too. it is not showing on any of my receipts either, but i wouln't go crazy with it. like tschmoka said try not to clean out one store, but you would think as high dollar as this deal they would have been more cautious about the limits being firm.

    • Mollymgc

Hi. Question on B1G1 coupon and B1G1 50% off sale. How does that work? Thanks.

      • tschmoka

If B1G1 coupon states “for equal or lesser value” then it will take off the item that is 50% off. Basically, you pay full value for 1 item and get 2nd one free. I hope that helps.

        • Mollymgc

If it doesn't say equal or lessor value would the coupon be worth 50% off the price of the two items? Also, since you are getting two items can you use another coupon?

    • Jessmdean

I found a $1 off blinkie for Xtra Laundry at Kmart

    • Ssheets14

Be on the lookout for summer clearance items. At the CVS in Montogmery, AL, summer items are 90% off. I got a few pairs of childerns Disney sunglasses for .65 each!!!!!

      • Amy J.

I have 2 CVS stores in my area, and one is always a little cheaper than the other one (go figure, only 20 minutes away from each other)…..anyway, at the cheaper CVS, the cheapest Futuro brace or support was $6.99….so I decided that wasn't as good of a deal, so I'm not doing that one.

    • DW in GA

      • Klynn

where did you get $5/$25 coupon?

        • DW in GA

The -$5 off $25 was a print out from the magic red box from last week. Not sure what combination of purchases trigger those things, but I like 'em!

    • Ajones9089

when i buy the revlon lipstick can't i get a nailpolish for free. i would use both coupons. is this right?

      • millie

YES! i did it twice yesterday…..great deal.

    • millie

FREE CHOCOLATE!!! went to cvs today because i had the one day only xtra coupon. when i went to the magic red box i got a coupon for $3 off one bag of dove milk or dark chocolate and it is on sale this week for 2.99!!! yes i was giddy. then i saw on facebook that there were bonus pack of the revlon mascara on sale and they had those too. so i got 1 bonus pack of mascara (2 tubes) 6.99 (got back $5ecb), 1 bag of chocolates 2.99. 1 bottle of downy in the marked down buggy (?32 load size) and 2 xtra det. $2 each…….i had a 1.50 off downy coupon with me (just dumb luck), 3.00 of dove choc., $1 off revlon and $2 off xtra (cvs coupon) and $6ecbs, so total oop…$3.22! i had $9.50 in ecbs from the weekend and still have $8.50 for next week! GREAT DAY!

      • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

I got that coupon, too, except mine says 24 oz Dove.

        • tina

i got one too and did not even look at the size it was for. but when i used and the cashier scanned it took it without beeping. i do know that there are some printabel one dollar off qs out there so if you have one of those and put it with the cvs one it will still probably be a good deal. hth

        • Freedomspradley1

I also got the Dove coupon but the 24 oz bag was around $8 so I passed.

        • Amy J.

I got the $3 off cvs Q at the kiosk as well for 24 oz. But I also got one on my previous trip there that was $1 off one bag of Dove (no size specified) so i paired that with the $1 mfg Q and got the $2.99 bag for 99 cents…..pretty decent for Dove chocolate……free would have been better but i'll take it for 99cents….LOL!

        • sandra

          same here

      • sandra

Was your dove chocolate coupon for the 24 oz bag? Mine was which were 8.99 each. The coupon was for 2.99 like yours. …

    • Klynn

where do you get the 5/25 coupon for cvs?

      • millie

it will print on your receipt or from the red box. you may get one in the mail (rarely) i did a month or so ago but they are not as “plentiful” as the rite aid ones. ;)

    • Siaulisa

I ran into CVS on my way home from work and had a kisok coupon print out for a free trial szie of Bioluxe shampo. I ran back to grab it as I only ran in to grab 2 more Dove shampoos on clearance for $1.12 (I had 2 – $1,00 coupons). I walked out spending $0.48 cents with 2 full sized shampoos and the trial size Bioluxe. Gotta love clearance items and God Bless other couponers who will share their “discoveries” with us newbies!

      • Abrooke8

Which Dove shampoos are on clearance and which coupons did you use? My CVS never post clearance sales. Thanks in advance.

    • june

Has anyone else found the $2 peelie on the lipstick? I walked into cvs with 1 $2 coupon and found peelies all over the lipsticks! I ended up getting 3 in 2 transactions. I didn't want a $15 ecb, but a $10 and a $5 are fine with my shopping habits.

      • Jane

I also found many tubes with the peelie plus I had three coupons for a free nailpolish with lipstick purchase. Sweet deal…

      • Kim A

I used the peelie on the lipstick today! they were all over the lipsticks… I am going to have to go back tomorrow and use some more!

    • Vtkelly

On the coupon printed from the machine for the 2 Xtra Laundry det. do you have to buy one or 2 to use the coupon?

      • artlady

I believe the coupons says on a purchase of 2.

      • Stefanie

I got the detergent coupon and it took $2 off the detergent which was on sale 2/$4…so FREE

      • Fallaya

My coupon said you only had to buy ONE…

      • marinewife

I checked my coupon, and it says “$2 off any 2 Xtra Laundry Detergent.” The name of the detergent is Xtra, not “2 Xtra” so that means that mine says it's good on a purchase of 2 detergents. According to the grocery list above, the type that is on sale is “Xtra 2 X detergent” which could make the coupon sound confusing. But all being said, if your coupon is like mine, it's good on a purchase of 2. It is not likely that CVS would have put out a coupon that gives you a completely free item, unless the coupon stated “free” somewhere on it.

    • Darin

If the Right Guard isn't working (coupon campaign has reached the limit it says) will they reload that promo or is the cvs deal void in the getting started scenarios?

being converted over from the grocery game as we speak if I can figure southern savers out :)

      • Brownebaby

Just print the $3 off one and get two. It’s the same thing and they still have prints available. The coupons run out constantly. We can’t expect her to keep up with that too. Southern Savers is great!

    • Spowers_8501

Question? Since their is a 3 item limit on the Right Guard offering 2 ECB. Can I buy 3 at once and get 3 different $2 ECB or do I have to buy all 3 in seperate transactions?

      • Mlsshartz

I did all three in one transaction and got $6 ECB. The ECB won't be seperate ($2,$2,$2). You will get one ECB of $6 for all three.

      • raj

buy one in 1 transaction – $2 ECB
buy two in 1 transaction – $4 ECB
buy three in 1 transaction – $6 ECB.

        Limit is 3.

You may want to buy 1 with a printable coupon and collect $2 ECB; then you can use the $2 ECB as well as a $3 off 2 coupon on coupons.com and collect $4 ECB.

Need a little help understanding something:

I have a few coupons for a FREE Sobe and also have a few of the BOGO coupons left.

Can I use a FREE coupon and a BOGO coupon on 2 Sobes and get them both for free??

I know how a BOGO sale + a BOGO coupon works out but I'm a little confused about how to use these coupons together or whether or not they can even be legitimately used together…..HELP :-)

    • Angela

I cannot get the link for the B1G1 Soft Scrub coupon to work. Does anyone know if they are still offering it?

      • Amy J.

doesn't look like it…..i tried it yesterday and only took me to 2 different 75 cents off coupons.

    • Amy J.

I'm really pleased that I went back to CVS today! Got some great deals yesterday. I was there yesterday and they didn't have the items on the clearance shelves that WERE there today!

(keep in mind, each CVS is usually a bit different in what they put on clearance….both of my CVS stores have different items clearanced and they are only about 20 minutes from each other).

I got 2 Old Spice Odor Blocker Body Wash for $1.25 each and used a manuf. b1g1 Q. Also, AirWick Essential Oils Single Refills (lavender & vanilla scent) for $1 each, so I used a manuf. Q for $1 off 2. And the real deal was the Febreze Home Collection Flameless Luminary Starter Kit (green tea citrus scent) for $3.75…..I bought 2 and had 2 $4 manuf Q's…….sweet!!!!!

I also got the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush, Dove chocolates, Filippo Berio EV Olive Oil, clearanced Neutrogena Comforting Butter Body Wash – Butter Cream ($2, no coupon but I couldn't pass it up, I love neutrogena products and besides, it smells nice too!), 2 Revlon Lipsticks, clearanced Loreal eyeliner and clearanced Loreal colour juice lip gloss….oh, and the free beauty charm w/ a $15 beauty purchase……paid @ $9 OOP including tax and got back $10 ECB's…….sweet!!!

      • Amy J.

Forgot to mention that I saved $137.50 today :-)

      • Pbanerjee

other day they didn't take my coupon on clearance items

        • Amy J.

These items I bought that were on clearance, they did not mark thru the barcode, so they scanned it and manually entered the clearance price. Although, the other CVS I go to marks thru the barcode, but they still take my Q's for the clearance items. Maybe you could speak to the manager the next time that happens? Sorry they didn't take your coupon!

    • Tamara

How can I print more than 2 coupons for the Revlon lipstick? It's telling me I've printed my max. Does it reset after a couple days?

      • Freedomspradley1

You need to find another computer to print from.

    • Gail

Could someone please tell me how this would work: I have a b1g1 coupon for the AXE and it is on sale for B1 get 1 50% off. Thanks!

      • Freedomspradley1

Most stores will give you the 2nd item that rings up 50% off for free using the B1G1 coupon so you are still left paying full price for one.

      • Sam

I used it once, they will give 2nd50%off free, you have to pay full price of one item

      • guest

I disagree with many of the replies here … say there is a B1G1 offer and one has a B1G1 manufacturer coupon … essentially, you will get both free………….so, if you have a B1G1 50 % off, the computer should ring up one for full price and the other one for 50 % before coupon – when the coupon kicks in, it “may” depend if the cashier has to manually enter a price – thus, one will be free and the other one will be full price (as many posts have stated) or half off. So, it depends !

I can't find the Quaker Instant Oatmeal coupon. Can anyone help?

      • coupacoupa

check the quaker facebook site…that's where i got mine

        • Rockcity_23_2000

where?? I was on the Quaker Oats FB page and there was no coupon

    • emma

thanks everyone for your questions. I am a little new. been following for almost a year now. doing pretty good at it too.

I have one question. The CVS's that I use and the closest one to my home is 30 -45 min away. when they put the stuff on clearence they mark through the barcode and hand ring it. so that means I can't use a coupon and most of the stuff I get is PG for the coupon books. is this correct or should I stand my grounds? I don't think its right. but I need input from some of you.

      Thanks for your help

      • Amt1218

ask for the store manager. That is not correct, you should be able to you any coupons!!!

      • Melissa

Actually that is right. If the barcode is marked through or it has a white sticker with a price you can't use a coupon. If it is just regular clearance then you can. That's what I have always been told.

      • Freedomspradley1

I have used coupons on clearance items several times and the cashier always verifies it matches the item and then forces it through. The register beeps because they manual enter clearance prices but they should still accept the coupon.

    • Brownebaby

Has anyone found a CVS in Charlotte, NC that has the Revlon Lipstick with the Coupons attached? Please help.

      • Rockcity_23_2000

im confused by your question..the coupons are attached where? Weren't they in the paper?

        • artlady

I think by “with the coupons attached” she means lipsticks that have peelies on them. Some of the previous comments mentioned that they found the Revlon super lustrous with $2 off peelies attached.

    • Kim A

My CVS didnt have any coupons in its coupon machine today. Is that normal? I am new to CVS… thought this was odd especially since they are advertising this week that you get $10 worth of coupons for the machine this week! It was a quick run in and out trip, so I didnt ask the manager about it. (Great trip.. Revlon Lipstick plus two Right Guard deodorants.. paid $8.88 after $5 in coupons, got $9 ECB back)

      • Lazyleah78

The last two times I've been in it hasn't printed any. It didn't say it was out of paper like I have seen it do before…

        • DW in GA

Mine gave a message saying “unavailable at this time, please try on your next trip”. I asked the mgr and it was just a paper jam, it took him two tries, but he fixed it.

    • Jesspeak

i dont know if this is a newly released coupn but Redplum has Quaker instant oatmeal or Quick oats totally FREE!! not BOGO, just free, and since you can print the coupon twice, it looks like 2 free boxes of oatmeal and then get $2 ECB back when you purchase 2! yay! heading to CVS!

      • Amt1218

What zipcode did you use for the oatmeal coupon? I can't seem to find one. :/

        • Jesspeak

          29697

          • Nita Royal

having no luck with that one either

          • Rockcity_23_2000

that is an invalid zipcode it says

        • Jesspeak

im sorry, i just went back to redplum and it seems i had my location set as 28787 (must have changed it a while back when looking for another coupon, sorry!!) hope you find the coupon!!

      • Cmskelton

Yes…I am looking for this coupon also…can you please share the zip?

        • Jesspeak

ok- i just jumpd on another computer to try to print the coupn out a couple more times, but now even i cant find it!! :( I'm really sorry, i cant quite figure out what i did to find it and print it out the first 2 times! sorry, and if anyone else figures out the right zip code/miles away combo please post it so i can find it again too!

      • Smjjcj

I can't find the coupon. Where did you find it?

      • Rockcity_23_2000

I can't find the oatmeal coupon. Where is it?

    • Lookin4aBargain

I have been doing CVS for a bit, but yesterday was my first day doing multiple transactions for the least OOP per visit. I think I did pretty good

      #1 (3) Niveas

      Used $3/2 mc, $1mc

used $10.99 in ECB's (I had a pretty big stock pile)

paid $.76 oop got back $5 ECB

      #2

      1 Revlon Lipstick

      1 Dove Bar Soap

      Used $2 off Revlon MC

      Used $5 ECB from T#1

Paid $1.38 OOP (Actually would have paid less but I flubbed up and had a Ivory coupon not Dove :()

      Got $5 ECB

      #3

      1 Revlon Lipstick

      2 Right Guard Deod.

Used $2 Rev MC, (2) $1 Right Guard MC

Used $5 ECB from Trans #2 and $1 ECB from a previous Trip

      Paid $1.10 OOP

      Got back $9 ECB

      #4

      Got Pantene Shampoo

      Pantene Conditioner

      (2) Quaker Instant Oatmeal

      Shick Hydro Shave Gel

      Used $1/2 Pantene,(2) $1 off Quaker

Used $9ECB from Trans #3, Used $1.99 ECB from previous trip

      Paid $3.51 OOP

Got back $5.80 ECB to use next time

So Total Out of pocket for the day was $6.75 for the day…didn't think this was too shabby for my 1st multiple transaction “run”! I did mess up with the Ivory/Dove coupon and also thought I had an extra $1 off Pantene, but the coupon was $1/2…so I pd about $1.49 more than I had anticipated…I'll take that!

How many times a week do ya'll go to CVS and print off coupons? Should I go a few times a week? I am really new to this, I have only done cvs twice. I am learning the whole couponing thing

      • Wendi

I scan my cvs card Sundays and Wednesdays. This week I got the same coupons, but I was able to stock up on items on sale this week!

      • Dibeedee

I got about 4-5 times a week, but it's because I pass right by there on the way to visit my mother. I use my green bag tag every single time, and I've earned about $150 in ECBs between my card & my mother's card (I do her shopping for her). I check the magic coupon machine every time I go in, and I have saved so much and even got coupons for free items from it. Tonight I purchased CVS conditioner on clearance (75% off) for .24 & two free M&Ms. My total was 36 cents in two transactions, and I earned 50 cents by using the green bag tag. My receipt shows I've saved $1513 this year, and I rarely spend more than change. The trick is to roll your ECBs to purchase items that have ECBs. I also use extra ECBs to go towards things I would normally buy but don't have coupons for, like bread and drinks. Also, if you can make money on a deal for an item that you don't use, do it. You can donate it, give it to someone you know who can use it, or sell it in a yard sale (I made $200 on items like this from a yard sale recently). Happy bargain hunting!

      • Beth

I go at least 2X per week….sometimes more based on need/opportunities. I try to break up my purchases. Always scan the coupon machine. Always take all you Qs – as I've been getting alot of “today only” opportunities. Always scan your green tag. Happy shopping!

    • Rockcity_23_2000

Is there not a general forum on southersavers or is it just under each store??

      • tori729

        Nope, just under each post.

    • Wendy_clifton

Went today and here's how I did:

      2 Revlon lipsticks
      1 Huggies Goodnights
      1 Hefty bags
      1 Shick shave gel

      Total Due before tax $32.75
      Qs used $5.00
      ECBs used $14.99

      Total OOP $15.05
ECBs in return $12.80 (I didn't catch I needed 2 huggies so I'll have to go back and get one more to get that one).

    • Syrivera9

Where do I get the Sept. Real Simple magazine? Do I find that in the store?

      • artlady

This is a magazine that is sold in many stores. Wal-Mart often has it; just check the magazine racks for a copy. Although – since it's almost October, you may not find a September issue being sold in stores now…doesn't hurt to look, I guess.

    • Jean

I went to my CVS yesterday for the Huggies wipes deal, and they didn’t have ANY wipes over 220 or so… so diappointed! :( The lady said they don’t carry them.

    • Grlz4me

Can anyone explain this? I went to CVS and bought 6 Right Guard @ $2.99 each.I had 3 coupons $3 off 2. The cashier told me she had to hand type coupon for $2.99 since that was what item cost. I told her it was $3 off 2 and she still said the same and called a manager. It sounded stupid to me but I wasn't arguing over 1 cent. I still got $6 ECB back. Also bought XTRA laundry soap 2/4 but coupon printed from machine $2 off so they were $1 for each.

      • Saved4Him

Really sounds like she just got mixed up and then confused the manager, you were right to point out the fact that the coupon was for 2 items, that should have solved the problem…i guess you'll be avoiding that cashier in the future, if possible :P

    • Angela

$1.20 oop for 2 packs of Huggies and a bag of Dove chocolate. Good day at CVS!

    • Stephane

??Has anyone had any problems with using 2 like coupons for 2 items in the same trasaction at CVS??

I'm a newbie…I printed my Revlon lipstick coupons off internet. When I used 2 lipstick coupons in one trasaction (for 2 tubes of lipstick) the cash register took the first one, but beeped on the second one. The cashier forced it through and acted like it was no big deal. Then, on my second trasaction, it happened again, this time she said she shouldn't have forced the other one through and that she would probably get into trouble. The coupons said “one coupon per purchase”. She said “that is on there for a reason”. But since I was purchasing 2, I told her that the store isn't losing money and that they would get reimbursed. I went to the store manager afterward and he told me it happens all the time and that it was fine to use both, so I asked him to please let the cashier know….

      • Beth

I had no problems. I got 4 – used 4 Qs in the same transaction. The register took them all.

      • Brooke

I had a similar problem today. When the manager had to take over and ring my coupons up, he actually told me that the cashier was stupid. Of course he said it when the cashier wasn't around, but honeslty, I was thinking the same thing.

    • Wendy

the mail in rebate for $10/$30 WYB olay, venus, coverGirl, Secret or Pantene was over sept 17. it has to be postmarked by oct 1, but the items had to be purchased by the 17th of sept. sorry :( i rushed out to wal mart at 11pm on the 17th for one last item to complete mine, that's how i knew. :) happy shopping folks!

    • Suzanne

I tried to purchase two lipsticks tonight using the 2/1 q from fb. The first one scanned fine, the second one beeped. I explained what I'd read here, but the cashier still didn't seem to know what to do about it. While she was trying to figure it out, she noticed that my next q was the free Revlon nail enamel wyb lipstick q from an insert. She proceeded to tell me that I woudn't be able to use both that and the 2/1 lipstick q anyway. I explained that the 2/1 attaches to the lipstick while the “free wyb” q attaches to the nail polish. She insisted that I was wrong, since the coupon said “lipstick” on it, it attaches to both items. She ended up calling a manager over, and to my amazement the manager sided with her! I told them I've done similar deals many times at half a dozen cvs stores around here and never had a problem. They said, “Well, everyone else is doing it wrong then.” I ended up telling them to cancel out my order. Was I wrong? If not, is there any recourse, other than just taking my business to another store? I've been cvsing for almost a year now and have never been treated like a criminal before. It was a very frustrating experience!

    • Amanda Smith

Maybe I'm the only person who's realized this… but my CVS has Arm & Hammer cat litter on sale for $5.99 and Iams cat food on sale for $5.99. There is a $1 off the cat litter on Arm & Hammer's website and a $3 off for the Iams inside my last bag of food I bought. As Southern Saver's resident crazy cat lady, this makes me happy. :-)

    • Rose

I had the same problem with the 2/1 coupon on the Revlon lipstick. The cashier just entered it manually into the register. I actually went to 2 CVS stores because the first one I went to told me they were no longer accepting printed coupons because they received an email from corporate saying they were fraud and to no longer accept them. Has anyone had this problem?

      • alyw

A CVS store told me that when the sobe's were b1g1 and would not let me use my coupons the last night of the sale. So the next day I went in there with “printed” nivea coupons and they accepted them..(the same cashier who refused them the night before) so I asked for the store managers name and called her that following monday and told her what happened. She claimed they did get an email but because they took my printed nivea coupons she would honor the sobe ones.

    • Megan

For some reason I cannot get the Right Guard Total Defense coupon to come up when i click on the printable link. It says no printable available. Can someone tell me where to get this coupon?

    • Ariel

Went to CVS this am to get the Tinkerbell DVD for my dd for Christmas. They have not gotten it yet!!!! Had my fav cashier though who took the time to check their stock room and then gave my a raincheck for when they do get it! I love my CVS!
