We made one small trip this week to Kroger, I didn’t take any pictures because I planned to make a big trip later in the week.  We are all prepped for a trip to Publix and Bi-Lo though it won’t be until early next week.  I’ve noticed lately that we are having big trips every other week with little tiny trips in the off week.  I think I’m liking the new routine.

Kroger:
Total before coupons and sales: $38.40
Total Spent: $17.82
Total Saved: $20.58 or 53.5%

CVS:

Weekly Totals:

I was doing really well for my gang this past week until I felt the “need” to drive over to KMart. Then my son gave a request for his b’day dinner two hours before he expected to eat last night. My “really good” week wound up being one of the more expensive ones. I’ll round my figures.

Last weekend’s Publix trips for newspapers and some extras.
      OOP $27
      “Saved” $36

Tues was odd because I spent and saved the same amount at both both Publix and Bi-Lo. That trip included all of our produce and bread for the week, some extra goodies for 10 of us and some for the grandkids, dinners for the week, and a few stock ups. Since it was everything we would need except for milk, things were GREAT at this point.

      Publix
      OOP $23
      “saved” $67

      Bi-Lo
      OOP $23
      “saved” $67

Kroger this week for 5 gals of milk:
      $9.95

Kroger last Sat. I had Cellfire q’s that did NOT come off.
      OOP $15.5
      “saved” $11.5

KMart budget killer for 3 mega packs GoodNites and 3 Axe items for DS b’day:

      OOP (pre-tax) $42.50
      “saved” $24.00
      Have $14OYNO in return

Bi-L0 run from last night to finish digging the hole:
      OOP $22
      “saved” $5

I also did a WAGs run last Saturday that is just too confusing. The Cat machine didn’t print due to a power outage that occurred earlier. In the end, I got about $20 in merchandise for $4 OOP, but it took a long time and a go-round w/a manager with me refusing to take the entire amount of cash she was trying to give me because it was too much. It would have saved us both time and frustration if I’d just accepted it, but I can’t take what’s not mine.

2 packs of Scotch Brite sponges
      Bottle of Clearisil face wash
      1 Suave deodarant

      Subtotal Before Savings: $35.26
      My Savings: $18.24
      TOTAL SPENT: $17.02
