I haven’t had time to make my big shopping trip yet, but I did run into Bi-Lo to test the awesome FREE candy deal and their $10 gift card promotion.  I’m not sure who came up with this weeks ad, but I do wonder if they still have a job…

I grabbed 4 jars of Prego pasta sauce, 4 Swanson Chicken Broth, and 6 bags of candy.  Nothing to make a meal out of, but enough to make for a fun trip.

I used coupons for everything but the fun part was what you get back.  The Prego and Swanson print a $10 gift card code when you buy 4, so I have two $10 gift cards and I got 75¢ in Fuelperks.  Fuelperks may not seem fun, but when you save $15 off a tank of gas they are great!

Note:  I was testing whether it would print two codes in the same transaction and it does NOT.  So you need to only buy 4 participating items at a time.  I returned 4 items at customer service and then bought them again on their own to get the second gift card code.

That’s all we bought so far.
