This one might be especially helpful for all the homeschooling families out there (or for summer enrichment activities).

Funnix.com is offering a free downloadable math program until June 26th!  The Funnix Beginning Math program has 100 lessons and is meant specifically for children who have not begun learning basic math.  It has everything you might need – workbook exercises, teaching guides, placement tests and more!

Note: Even though it is free, do not share your 10 digit serial number you receive.  Instead just tell your friends to go through the site themselves!

(thanks Julia!)

Anyone else have a problem when you enter the security code at the bottom?  It says incorrect entry and won't proceed further….

      • Robin

I had the same problem, finally worked once I entered US in the country.

I downloaded this program and tried it with my own children. They loved
the first two lessons. I highly recommend trying it out. Here is my
      review of the program: http://luria-learning.blogspot.com/2011/06/free-amazing-pre-k-2nd-grade-math.html

Thanks-homeschooling can get expensive and freebies like this are a blessing. The reading program has been a big success with my little homeschooler so I'm looking forward to math.

    • I got in on their free reading program in January and we really LOVE it. I'm excited to try this out, though I think my oldest might be a bit to advanced for it… and my youngest might not be ready for it. I'll keep it on hand anyway, since I was super impressed with the Funnix Reading Program. :)

We also have the reading program.  We got it free when they offered it a few months ago.  We love the reading, so we are going to give this one a try.  I posted it on Facebook, too!
