    • Laura

Nice giveaway! I would take my husband, because he needs a Break.

    • Jan

I would take my best friend. She is going through a horrible divorce and needs her spirits brightened…

    • mel

I would take my hubby bc we seriously need a date night!

    • tricia

I would take my husband and enjoy a much needed date night.

    • Lisa B.

I would definitely take my husband because he’s turning 30 this month! He’s finally caught up to me! :)

    • Maggie

Wow super cool- I would take my husband who works so hard and is the best dad!!

    • meghan

I would so take my DH. Sounds just like his type of party!

    • Jeff

I would take my wife. I am the penny pincher in the family and if I win a free date night from the website she is sick of hearing me talk about then she just might start believing!

    • Julie

No question, I would take my hot and seriously under-dated husband! Ha! We’ve had a fast year with 8 wks to prepare for the birth of our first child, whom we adopted, and is now 11 months old. He asked me to not worry about my job, to quit, and stay at home. So I did! With the help of this website and his work ethics, we’ve saved and came out ahead! But, we do need some fun mommy and daddy time, too!

    • Melanie

My sister in law NEEDS this more than anyone else I know!! She just had a baby about 10 days ago that is at Piedmont in the NICU. My niece has been hooked up to respirators and we found a hole in one of her lungs. Would love to get her mind off of this for at least one evening!!

    • Lindsay

I would take my Mother-in-law, Anne. She’s a sweetheart and doesn’t get to come to Atlanta very much because she doesn’t like driving in the traffic. So she’s stuck eating Applebee’s and Longhorn’s around home. Since I work in Atlanta, I can handle the traffic for her. She does SO much for my sons and she deserves a night out at a great new restaraunt and GB’s Garlic Fries! :)

    • Cindy

I would take my husband. Yesterday was our anniversary and since I lost my job we weren’t able to do anything special.

    • Jenny

I would definitely take my husband. We have a three year old and a 7 month old, and unfortunately haven’t been on a date night since the 7 month old was born!

    • Adele

We would love a date night. We hardly ever do anything “grown up”.
      How fun!

    • Stephanie

Of course I would take my husband (if we can get a sitter) because I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else/

    • Roberta

Would love to show my husband how much he means to me.
He let my brother’s family (with 2 kids) move in with us in October when their house went into foreclosure in another state. They are still with us. Although he has never complained about “making do” – would love a way to have private time that did not involve taking the whole gang with us … just a moment where he is the center of my attention

    • Michele

I would love to take my husband. We have 3 daughters ages 21 months, 4 years and 8 years old. We have not had a date night in 7 1/2 years. My mother now lives close and she can babysit, however now money is too tight and we have not had the money to go out. We would have a cocktail to salute you and your husband to say thanks for the chance to go out and be just husband and wife for a little while.

      Thanks, Michele N

    • megan c

well, I am from union sc, but it just so happens that we are going to atlanta, clay(my husband) is a jag specialist, which means he is a teacher that helps at risk students in school. His main objective is to help them graduate or ged. The conference will start on monday and i will have to head back due to obligations back home(my 4 month old and six yr old)!clay will have to stay till that friday. It would be the perfect date night!

    • Maegan Hall

I would take my husband, but since I breastfeed, I might give the tickets to my husband, to take a friend. We just had a baby (now 5 kids) and could both use a ‘break’

    • ingrid

My husband and I moved here a few years ago, north of Buckhead and we have never been to buckhead for a nice dinner. We have been trying to do date nights since we just finished a year of marriage counseling and him “fireproofing” me. It is definitely my my turn to surprise him with a something nice and free tickets with a babysitter is something we can afford! Please pick me!

    • I would take my sweet hubby as an anniversary surprise!

    • Pam

I would love to have a night out with my husband. We’re the parents of three teen daughters, two that we’ve adopted out of state foster care in the past year and a half… as you can imagine, our life is bananas and we don’t get many nights out together. It would be a wonderful opportunity to spend a romantic evening, celebrating our love and our growing family AND it would put a drain on our already really tight family budget.

    • Robin

Awesome, I just told my friend that this was opening. My husband and I love this place and used to frequent it often! Our anniversary is tomorrow so this would be a great way for us to celebrate and justify paying a sitter for our 2 yr old!

      Thanks!

    • I would take my husband, it’s his 31st birthday on the 15th and my baby’s 1st on the 23rd, we would love a date night! :)

    • Melissa

I would take my husband!! His birthday is on Monday, and he would LOVE this as a birthday gift!

    • Kasie

I would take my husband because we have not been out on a date in about 4 years! We are new to Georgia and it’s just too expensive to get a babysitter AND go out for a nice time together. It would be lovely to only have to pay a babysitter and enjoy a wonderful dinner together….alone! :)

    • Elizabeth M.

Oh this is really nice! I would love for this to be a date for my husband and I. Our 9 year anniversary was on July 1 and we haven’t had time to celebrate, yet, since the 4th of July holiday prevented us from being able to get a sitter for last weekend. Plus we wanted to spend the holiday with our 3 kids. This would be perfect!

      Thank you!

    • Amanda

I would take my mother for 2 reasons. One, it’s close to my birthday and I always celebrate with her since she is the reason I have one. Two, her husband is serving in Afghanistan and anything to distract her from missing him is awesome!

    • Wendy

Would take my husband, of course. He’s so sweet to go with me to all the “girly” dates I love without complaining—like the Ritz Carleton for afternoon tea and takes our daughter to LibbyLou’s to get her hair, nails and ‘make-up’ done for her birthday. But he really likes a good beer and even has worked with friends who do the home brews. This would feed his soul.

    • Karrie

That’s so sweet to give them away!! I would take my husband, he felt bad I haven’t been able to find a job in my area so last week he bought me a new purse with the money he was saving for a new sound system. He saved it for 8 months and completely surprised me. I was so touched it would be cool to do something for him :)

    • saki

I would like to take my boyfriend who is coming to visit me Atlanta.
      I love your blog :)

    • Jennifer

Oh please pick me so that my wonderful hubby and I can take a trip to Atlanta (2 hours from home) and NOT go to my Mother-in-law’s house! Please Jenny pick me to rescue me from this horrid, wasted Saturday! A VIP event would such a FABULOUS excuse to get out of going to her house!

    • Clay

I would take my wife, our wedding anniversary is on Tuesday the 14th, so it would be something fun, fancy, and free as nice anniversary date.

    • I would take my sweetheart of a husband…it will be our 8th anniversary on the 14th and we’ve been tighening our purse strings a lot….it would be great to suprise him with a night out.

    • Min

I would take my wonderful husband who works very hard to provide for our family. And he is a good kisser too!

    • Cre

I would take the hubs! He misses beer….LOL!

He works so incredibly hard for us and he has spent the past few weeks in the brutal GA heat working for others and also for us, putting in a play set, building me a chicken coop, working in the garden with me. It’s hard to surprise him with anything and he would LOVE this.

    • Lyssat

Hi! I would take my husband (AKA my best friend.) We have not had a real date night since the arrival of our little guy (5 months ago) and it would be a wonderful treat! In fact, it would be so nice to just get dressed up for a night on the town. He is a great dad and patient, loving husband. How lucky am I? It also just so happens that my mom is in town and we would have a sitter! :)

    • I would take my husband – we have a 6 week old and haven’t been out since he’s been born – and we need a night out!

    • Bethany M

I would love to win this giveaway. I would take my boyfriend, he is always too good to me, and this would be a very nice treat for him. Thanks Jenny.

    • Molly

I would take my husband. He is working really hard in grad school and we don’t get out very often. Thanks for the great giveaway.

    • Alison

I would love to take my hubby because he recently got laid off from his job, and ironically, beer is one of the things we had to take out of our budget. An inexpensive evening at a place that serves his drink of choice would be a blessing right now. We are both keeping our chins up and know what someday we are going to look back at this time as being one where we did a lot of soul searching and hugging. Cheers!

    • Katherine

I would love to take my husband! He was so upset when the Hops Restaurant/Brewery closed and I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant for him. The father-in-law lives in Buckhead on Peachtree Road, so we already have a nearby designated driver!!!

    • Alison

I would take my husband because we have not had a date night in a while.

    • Kim

Awesome give away! I live in the Acworth area so we would def be able to go. I would take the hubs because we both could use a break! I won’t go into details but I will just say that I have a 19 yo and a 16 yo daughter and lately we have been wondering what possesed us to have children…….

    • Anna

I would love a date night/celebration night with my hubby! A night of fun and good uninterupted conversation sounds amazing. We are celebrating my hubsband’s new job this week. He was laid off a few weeks ago and miraculously found a new job in just 3 weeks. He is scheduled to start his new gig on Monday and this would be an awesome way to celebrate our happy news!

    • Heather

I would definitely take my husband. It is our 6 year wedding anniversary this weekend! We already have a babysitter lined up and plan to go to dinner somewhere- but if we could go to something fun and free, that would be fantastic! We don’t want to break the budget! Great giveaway.

    • i would take my husband b/c we didn’t get to go on our anniversary dinner last month. he had to go the the ER instead b/c he got stung by a bee and had a bad infection going up his arm.

    • Erin

I would love to take my husband we have not been out on a real date in a very long time we are parents of a seven year old Boy (Malachi) and a beautiful new baby girl (Victory). As we all know it does take alot of effort to make it out for a date night with a 3 month old but don’t worry Jenny I have some milk supply pumped and waiting in the freezer and a very willing mother that has yet to be able to feed her grand daughter b/c I am stingy with my feeding time ;). So you would even be making her wish come true. My husband has let me have the summer off with the kids and has been a very hard worker and hasn’t complained at all he and I both deserve a night out and this would be perfect.

    • Heather

so exciting! My husband went to the McLean Virginia location a few years ago with some friends, when we were in DC, and has talked about it ever since. He will be very excited to know they’re opening a location in Atlanta! Of course, with our current financial situation, winning or getting gift certificates is the only way we can do anything fun that costs money, so it would be really awesome if we won!

    • Stacy

      What an awesome giveaway!

I would love to win and take my husband. We have a two year old and have only been on three “dates” since the little one was born. Our families live too far away to babysit and we really can’t afford a baby sitter AND entertainment/dinner.

All my thanks to Southern Savers for making it possible to just go out to eat as a family. :)

    • Nicole

It would be too much fun.. would love to have a girls night with my bestie…

    • Shannon in ATL

I would give the tickets to my boss and his wife who are true beer connoisseurs and new to the ATL. They are the only people I know that plan their vacations around BEER FESTIVALS! Whenever I visit a city I always pick up a local beer to bring back for him. He and his wife will then enjoy their beverage and he will write a paragraph email describing the taste and experience!!!
He loves his beer so much that he once chased down a car with some kids in it that had broken into his beer fridge and stolen his prized possessions. He risked his life for his beer (he saved his beer and they went to juvy!) A true beer man and would so enjoy the experience…not to mention I would earn some serious points!

    • Meredith Johnson

I would definitely give the tickets to my sister and her husband who are going to Atlanta this weekend to celebrate their anniversary. They are such a blessing to my family and I would love to bless them by winning this surprise!:)

    • Miranda

Well, I would take my husband for sure. He is making a big acrifice for me this weekend. He is celebrating his 39th birthday on Sunday (12th),and we were supposed to go to Orlando for the weekend. However, my sister, who lives in DC,with her military husband, got a week off at the spur of the moment. Inside of going to Orlando, he got her a plane ticket to fly down to Atlanta, so that my family can spend some time with her. She has not been able to make it home since last year!!! I think he deserves to win! Oh yeah….and we have a baby at home…so “date” nights are few and far between!

    • Tracey

I would definitely take my hubby because we definitely need a date night and the fact that I LOVE BEER is a plus!

    • Kelly

I’d bring my husband along – he loves breweries – and we could definitely use a date night away from our 9 month old!

    • I love this restaurant, what a great giveaway! Thanks Jenny.

    • Karen

Hmmm…why I need a date night…The very reason why it’s hard for me to put this into words probably validates my need for a night out. As for who I might bring–I suppose keeping both passes for myself is out, though tempting as I have been quite the eater lately and longing for a little down time to myself. So I would be excited to bring my husband. We could use a special night at a unique restaurant–something we wouldn’t usually splurge to afford. He is a teacher, working extra this summer to make ends meet, and we would SO enjoy the extravagance!

    • Rebecca

I love Gordon Biersch! Great food and beer! I would love to win this for my husband and I to go on a date night. We never go out with out the kids. Plus, today is his birthday so we could celebrate this weekend he would love that!

    • Jason

I would take my wife. We had our first child 9 weeks ago, and she has done an incredible job taking care of him. She is getting very stir-crazy at home, and unfortunately my work got incredibly busy right when our son arrived. So while I have been at work 12+ hours each day, she has been an incredible mom at home.

    • Alyssa

Ditto on what most of the other readers said. I would love to surprise my hubby with a fun night out on the town, sans kiddos!
Thanks, Jenny, for all your time and effort to save us all money. Hopefully all you do for us will be returned to you tenfold!
      Thanks!

    • Jenny

I would take my wonderful, self-sacrificing husband out for a night on the town! He works so hard for us all day, every day and then comes home and helps me with our 3 children 6 and under. He rocks my world and I would love to surprise him with this! Thanks for all you do and by the way, I love your name!

    • joy

      My husband, of course!

Thanks for letting us know about the new restaurant. Sounds like something he would love!

    • Sarah Parker

I don’t know who I would take but I would love to go :)) haha and I am 21 JENNY!!!!!!!

    • Jennifer

I would take my brother because today is his birthday and I’m to broke to buy him a present!!! ;)

    • I would actually send my brother and sister-in-law!

    • Christi

I would take my husband who was laid off 3 months ago and has come close 4 times to getting a job with no luck. We have 1 yr old twins and a 3 year old. We both need to get out of the house and have a beer!!!

    • Sara Ellen

I would take my husband, Matt! We have 3 small children and he is traveling a lot with his job. We could use some QUALITY TIME and adult conversation!

    • M Rose

I would LOVE to take my hubby to Atlanta for the night!! We live 2.5 hours away and could use a few hours in the car to talk!!!! We haven’t been on a date in a year–7 kids kind of does that to you!!!

    • BETH

I would take my husband. Saturday is our 11th anniversary and it would be awesome to spend it with him in Atlanta.

    • Jennifer

I would love to go and try and fancy restaurant…

    • Terry

We have eaten at the restaurant in Chattanooga and absolutely loved it! We loved it so much that we searched for other restaurants in this chain, but there are not very many. We did find one in Vegas where we frequent but haven’t tried it. Would love the opportunity to try this one out!

Would definitely take my better half! He does so much for me, I would love to surprise him with this!

    • Michelle

I would definitely take my husband since he has been out of town for most of the past two months. Would be nice to have some time to ourselves! Plus, we’ll already be in the area! :)

    • Kandrea

Oooooh, a night out sounds fabulous! I’d invite my husband since he is numero uno in my book :O)

    • Meredith Johnson

I was response #53. I forgot to say that my sister is also a “southern saver.”:)

    • Dawn Stribling

My hubby would be very disappointed, but I would have to say that I would take my Daddy if I won. My Daddy is my hero and has done so much for me through out my life that I would love to be able to take him out for a fun evening!

    • Cassandra

Of course I would take my husband because he as been so supportive of my coupon shopping. Since I started couponing in March of this year at first he said it got on his nerves but now he doesnt buy anything without checking if I have a coupon for it. This night would be part of my appreciation for all his support. He’s not working right now and this would be a nice break for him without having to spend any money. Thanks Jenny for all that you do for us.

      Cassandra

    • AngelathecouponNERD

I’d love to take a day trip to ATL with my hubby of 21 years! :)

    • Jenn

I’d take my wonderful husband. We haven’t been on a date in almost 15 years.

    • Hi Jenny!

This is right up me and my boyfriend’s alley! I would definitely take him. He is a wonderful guy who even I have gotten into couponing and saving money. He always gets his hair cut at HairMasters and now he knows to come to me and get a $2 coupon that I get once a month from signing up for their e-mail haircut reminder service. We also always play a game when I come home from grocery shopping where he has to guess how much I spent and how much I saved. We will eventually get married and he really likes how great I am at saving us money that we can put towards more important things. Anyways, he is from Atlanta (we are both in Auburn, AL now) and we both love brewerys! I would love to take him to this this weekend and what a kick he would get out of it when he finds out I got it for free on the couponing blog I follow! Thanks!!! PS. We are 23 and 21 so we qualify! :)

    • Laura

I would take my husband because he has been so busy working around the house this summer and he deserves it! Plus he will be joining me in teaching high school this year and he starts his first job in a couple of weeks! thanks!

    • cynthia hall

I would take my son, because he lives in Atlanta

    • Karen Turner

I would 100% take my husband of almost 20 years(next month). We have 3 children which keep us busy. He works 3rd shift and I work 1st shift. I am walking in the door coming home from work all the while he is leaving for work during the weekdays and with the kids and life we barely have time to meet in the middle and have any alone time even on the weekends so this would be a very nice treat and much appreciated! Thanks for you free give-away!
      Karen

    • Anne

My husband! We are both beer lovers, I especially love micro-brewed beer.

    • Kathryn

My husband’s birthday is next week and this would be perfect for him. We’ve been “between jobs” for 9 months and haven’t been able to celebrate anything during that time. I know that my family would love to take the kids so that we could have a night out.

    • Bethany

I would take my husband to celebrate his 26th birthday!

    • Allison

Like most who have commented, I would take my husband. He is the most awesome father to our three young children. I have been searching for the perfect thing to do for his birthday (which just happens to be the same week as the grand opening). My husband loves a good beer! Gordon Biersch is right up his alley!

    • caitlin

I will take my husband because he has outdone himself over that last few months. Not only is he finishing up school but he was able to make my birthday month one of the most special birthdays ever. I have wanted to make it up to him and this would be one event to add to the list.

    • Ash

I would definitely take my husband. He has been working in Miami for the last 5 weeks, doing manual landscaping outside for a new hotel. He has been working from 7 am to 8 pm, out in the 90 plus degree heat. The worst part of all is we have a 7 month old baby girl and it tears him apart to be away from her. He needs a break, and a night out when he gets home would be wonderful!

    • I would take my husband. He works three jobs and rarely complains about it. I like to give him a break any time I can. Sounds like a menu he would love!

      Malia

    • Clay Cohen

My wife (megan c) is very excited about this contest. She mentioned that we are headed to Atlanta this week for a conference with the Jobs for America’s Graduates program. However, she forgot to mention how much more she deserves to go than I. Megan recently gave birth to our 4 1/2 month old son, Charlie. We have a tough time managing our finances on a teachers salary, but with the recent help of this website, Megan has been saving a tremendous amount of money on grocery items. She has been working so hard as a wife and mother to make things work. When we first started dating, I would take her out for fine dining, but I have neglected to give her this type of attention since we have been married. We have decided to pack a lunch for the three hour trip to Atlanta to save money. We are going to have to be extremely diligent with our money until the next paycheck. Megan C deserves to win because she has given up the fancy lifestyle for a marriage of saving coupons and taking care of her family. Also, I love to see her dress up, she looks beautiful. Thanks for the help with grocery expenses and good luck to everyone!

    • The past 2 months has been VERY rough for my husband and I. I resigned my job about 2 months ago due to personal issues and ever since then we’ve been going through an econmical crisis. Lucikly, I have a husband who understood and respected my decision. I thank you Jenny for this site and because of it I’ve been able to save TONS and TONS of money and my husband is in total shock. Due to our economic situation my birthday is 7/14 and it seems like we’ll be staying home. These two tickets would be great especially because my husband is a fan of Gordon. It would be such a great and memorable birthday. Thank you for your time and your hard work. With Kind Regards, Iris V.
