    • abbysmom

      when are they doing doubles

      • Amber

There’s really no way to know. Only speculation. Sorry.

    • Eva Simon

If you have a coupon for $1.00 off, will Harris Teeter triple it up to 99 cents or will the coupon not work? Thanks!

      • Amber

Triples is basically like any other day at HT but they add one more value of the coupon onto it. Having a feeling that doesn’t make as much sense out of my head then it does in, I’ll try and explain…

On a regular ol’day at Harris Teeter we can get 20 coupons doubled up to (and including) 99 cents. So a coupon for 75 cents off of 1 item = $1.50 off of 1 item. 99 cents off one item = $1.98 off of 1 item. Etc.

On Triples events, just add another value of the coupon onto what you would normally do… so a 75 cents off 1 will now = $2.25 off of 1 item and a 99 cents off 1 will now = $2.97 off 1 item. Since the regular rules state up to and including 99 cent coupons, then $1 coupons will only be worth $1, unfortunately.

I hope this was helpful for you and not even more confusing. Good luck this week with your deals!

        • Kelly

I just wanted to say I appreciate when someone takes the time to post a nice and helpful message like yours Amber. I feel like some people who post are only on here to judge others and post rude comments about what people are doing wrong. So thanks for your helpful post!

      • it will not be tripled at all

      • Ed in NC

No, they never triple coupons that are more than 99 cents face value. And they don’t normally even double coupons of $1.00 or more – (only on Super Doubles weeks).

      • Eva Simon

        Thanks for the clarification ladies!

    • Tricia0468

Will they TRIPLE coupons up to $.99 off of multiple products? ie: $.75/2 = $2.25/2

      • Amber

Yes. The Arm & Hammer Liquid Laundry Detergent and Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage deals listed above are good examples of this scenario.

    • Tricia0468

PS Will Harris Teeter let you use overages on other products in your order?

      • yazpistachio

No, unfortunately they will only double or triple up to the price of an item– making it free if that’s possible, but no more.

    • Longdaisy

In ur last list u said they triple up $1 now this list say .99 cents which one is correct

    • Amie

Bummer, really had my hopes up when you mentioned possibly tripling coupons up to $1.00; I printed a bunch of q’s from the 1st list that I won’t use now. I appreciate the heck out of your site, but I personally would prefer to not hear speculation (i.e. possibly tripling up to $1.00), I would rather hear it only when confirmed. Maybe it’s just me.

      • rebeccafer

I understand your frustration but “possibly” is just that. HT has tripled $1 coupons for the last couple of Triple coupon events so it’s understandable to have the speculation and since this site is for information on couponing, it’s necessary for her to say it is a possibility. If she said it was a definite, then that would be something to complain about.

        • Guest

Though I highly respect Amie for their classy and respectful tone, I do agree with Rebeccafer.

        • Amie

Wasn’t complaining, was stating my preference, which is to not be told speculation, but rather wait until it’s confirmed to tell us. This is simply sharing my opinion as a suggestion to the site admins that maybe it would be better to wait until they know for sure before doing match-ups and putting it out there. Clearly you disagree with me, and that is okay. You can offer opinions and suggestions just like I can.

      • breich

Lowes Foods will be doing Super Doubles staring Wed. They posted it on there facebook site.

        • Tiffany

          yay!

        • logan

thanks for telling us i had no idea

        • Amie

          Thanks breich!

      • Next time you hear “possibly” or “maybe”…instead of printing the coupons just send them to your printer to hold til you get confirmation. That way, if it’s not a definite, you can clear your documents out of your printer and not waste ink or paper. (You’ll have to “google” or search how to do it on your printer cause I only know how to do it on mine. But it’s not hard to find out how)

        • David Ballinger

          Great tip!!! Thanks!

        • Amie

Thanks for the suggestion, Tina. I will spend some time looking into that.

      • Melanie

Another way to look at it is, you will be able to use those $1 coupons when they do super doubles! :0)

      • Steve

that is the chance you take. YOU made the decision to do this.Don’t blame Jenny for it

        • Amie

Once again, I am not BLAMING or COMPLAINING. Reading comprehension is an important thing…. I am stating a preference as a suggestion to the person running the site. Simple concept.

          • Kelly

I’m on your side Amie, agree with what you said and didn’t think you were complaining at all. I don’t know why people wish to continue posting negative “don’t do this, don’t say that” comments. It gets old. Have a good night!

    • Kesley

I have a triple question…I have 2 rain checks. One is the hefty cups b1g1 from a few weeks back. The other is toaster strudels buy2get3 from a few months ago. I’ve got toaster strudle coupons .75/3 and .50/2 and hefty coupons .75/2. Will Harris teeter triple those while I’m using my rain checks?

      • my2yungens

Yes, you can use your rainchecks in conjunction with triples! :-)

      • Tracie

Yes they will triple any Q up to .99 with a rain check.

      • Guest

Yes indeedy! (I just wanted to be the third person to give the same answer :D

    • Courtie614

Harris Teeter announced on facebook that there will be triple coupons this week. So coupons up to 99 cents, which has always been the policy, will be tripled.

    • So do they only triple what you have listed above?

      • Guest

I’m not certain I quite understand the question but I’ll take a stab at it anyhow. They will triple 20 manufactures coupons per day. They will triple any valid coupon up to and including 99 cents. If you have some obscure legit coupon for some off-the-wall something-or-the-other and it’s 75 cents off, for example, you go right ahead and use it! :)

        • Cheryl

Your sarcasm is comical to say the least. Thanks for the laugh!! :-)

    • jb

The word severely might not be the best word to use when describing how someone might have interpreted something wrong. Just saying. Severely should be used when stating, we should severely punish murderers for example.

      • Guest

You may very well be right. Merriam-webster uses this as one of many definitions: of a great degree “severe depression”. I guess I should have been more hip and just said epically. *chuckles*

    • Guest

Alrighty. Lets get back to actually helping people, shall we! :)

Have you all heard about the new Dr Pepper coupon that’s just come out? If I post a link, it’ll have to be reviewed by a mod and that’ll take a lot of time (since it’s midnight) to actually show up on here… SO! Just do a Google search for ” $0.75 off one Dr Pepper 20 oz and one 3 Musketeers Brand OR Milky Way Brand Single Bar “. Here’s my hypothesis (or “educated guess”) on the values of these items and what kind of deal you might be able to get!

At most a 20 oz soda is what? About… $1.69 (?) Man, this guessing stuff is hard. And it’s been years since I’ve purchased one so I’ll have to go off memory of what I’ve seen in the check out lanes, but I’ll say a candy bar is around $1.19 -ish (?) So using this scenario (aka totally made up prices) then the total would be $2.88. After the coupon is tripled the total for these two items is only 63 cents or 32 cents per item! I’m guessing my prices are a little high too, so I’ll go out on a limb and say some of you may be able to get a Dr Pepper 20 ounce and a Milky way for as low as free (?)!!!!
In a reply post to this one I’ll post the link for the coupon but I didn’t want this post to be waiting in limbo for a mod to allow it’s contents through.

      • Guest

        Dr P & Candy Link: http://www.coupons.com

Click a quarter of the way down the page, in blue letters the word “Foods”. This should take you right there. If it doesn’t click here http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13727&nid=20&zid=eg14 to change your zip code to 11724 and then click the blue arrow next to it to lock in that zip. Then go back to coupons dot com and search through the Foods category to find the coupon. Done and Done. Good luck, I hope lots are able to print and use it!

      • michael

        thank you!

      • Sam

        Thanks for the tip

      • bngentry17

Thanks! Makes it 23 cents total for the Dr Pepper and the Milky Way at my store! :)

      • HaydenRossi

Didn’t work for me. It took off a total of $.99 (the price of the candy bar) instead of $2.25. And yes, the soda was $1.69 at my store. :-) I didn’t bother trying to get it changed since I had to get to work, but wanted to give other people a heads up that you might have to keep on eye on this one if you use it.

      • I noticed the 3 Muskateers are actually cheaper at .99 each and the milky ways are 1.19 so it’s better savings for the 3 muskateers

    • Sharise Nobles

I just found out that Some areas ARE doing super triples. You may have to contact your local store to be certain.

    • Cheryl

Jenny, thanks for the list! :-)

    • Guest

You are ridiculous. Get a life. This site is for couponing tips…not for pathetic attempts to be right all the time. Lets move on and get back to coupons. Thanks Jenny for all you do!!!!

      • Sam

Oh lighten up everybody! You have to admit it was kinda hysterical!

      • Bella James

Well, that’s not nice. What I saw was that the Guest really thought that they were answering someones question to the best of their ability. Was then attacked by an uptight angry coupon lady mob. Seemed to try and clear up any misconceptions and then was called really horrible and childish names. Now you’re calling names and degrading them again? I never saw the Guest calling names and spitting vulgarities! Personally, I think everyone really overreacted. It’s similar to road-rage, I guess. We’ll call it blog-rage!

        • Kelly

blog-rage… funny! But did you read all of guest’s comments?? They are all dripping in sarcasm and “roses and lollipops”.

        • Dave

it depends on what you read from them. There were some very hurtful and sarcastic comments made on this post and another that I saw that honestly made me not post anything on this. Guest may have answered a question or two, but there are few post where wild accusations were thrown and other none- sense that made me not feel safe to post on this site or even this post. There is answering a question, and than there is being rude. That’s a nice way of putting it. When everyone is attacking you, usually there is a reason for it.

    • loveincoupons

OOOOKKKKK!!!!! Enough already just agree to disagree get over yourselves believe you are all right, tell your self what ever you need to tell yourselves and get back to clipping those coupons ladies….. THATS an order!

    • Natalie

WOW…. its a lil ridiculous all of you FIGHTING over nonsense… taking up SPACE that is for tips of other deals. I just had to read thru all 44 of them… to hope that maybe one of you had a great deal to share… instead you all attacked each other in a very immature way. Get a F*****ing life!

      • Random

You are making it worst by trying to solve the problem with harsh words. Harsh words won’t solve anything action will.

    • carrie

Jenny (or anybody who knows), when I looked on the kimberly clarke website for the rebate, I did not see Harris Teeter listed as a participating retailer. please help. thanks

    • deedee362012

Guest there needs to calm down, and stop using big words to make herself look more educated. And clearly find another hobby besides bashing people on couponing blogs..my God.

    • Thank you!

I just want to than whom ever took all the time to do this for me, and all the snooping!!! There is no way I could have taken the time to do that for myself with my big busy family!!!! Just wanted to show you some love…..since you know, your kind enough to do this for all of us! ( and just for those that don’t know- when someone is doing something free for you- don’t piss and moan about it!!! Just say- THANK YOU! )

    • logan

beggin’ strips dog snacks don’t make sense

      • Guest

Alrighty, lets take another look at it, shall we?

Purina Beggin’ Strips, 6 oz, $2.50
Use -$2 off Purina Beggin dog snack, 25 oz+, SS 2/10
or -$1/2 Purina Beggin’ dog snacks, 6 oz+ (printable)
or -$1 off Purina Beggin’ package, 6 oz+, RP 4/07
        Total = 50¢

From the information in this thread, I gather that this product costs $2.50. It seems as though there is a coupon in the 2/10 SmartSource for $2 off, if that information is all accurate, then 2.50 minus $2 is only $0.50. So the total that was posted seems accurate at only 50¢! :)

If there’s something I misunderstood about your confusion toward this deal, please clear it up for me ever so humbly. Thank you kindly for allowing me to assist you today!

        • jb

Here we go again with the sarcastic comments. Guest, get off this site!!

          • guest

I am another guest, and I agree with you.

        • Horse

          Lets take another look…
Purina Beggin Strips 6OZ see how its 6OZ and the $2.00 coupon is for 25OZ or larger see how that coupon doesn’t match! Can you see or read? Gosh…you would think that on that high horse of yours you would get a great view…that’s why it doesn’t make any sense because the coupon that is “supposed” to be used shouldn’t be used on the item since the $2 is clearly for a larger sized bag…if your going to act all high and mighty than you should really read things through before you post…lol

          • Thanks everyone for pointing that out. I’ve fixed it. On Tuesday’s I look at so many coupons and adds that they all blend together by the end of the day and I miss things. You are right the sizes don’t match and we can’t use that coupon with the product.

      • cat13

Hey Logan (I’m going to offer a third look ;) — as a dog person I checked this deal locally for me (suburban MD). What I found was — there are 2 coupons on the same page— 1 is for beggin’ strips but it is not $2 off, it is a B1G1 free. The coupon on the bottom of the page is for $2 off as indicated, but it is for Busy Bones, not beggin’ strips. Both are made by the same company, hence their appearance on the same page and perhaps the confusion. Again— .I know coupons can be very regional, so you may have an entirely different insert- but that was my experience. HTH

    • nashsherri

I love Jenny and appreciate all the work she does for me to make couponing fun and easy! She’s become a rock star in my eyes!
I haven’t yet encountered the H.T. triple coupon phenomenon so I am looking forward to it. I shop in Nashville and my local H.T. has started to double coupons up to $2 on Weds. I am curious if anybody knows how this works with the triple couponing.

      • Guest

If regular days at HT involve just the doubling of coupons up to the value of $0.99 once, then tripling is twice. For instance a $0.75/1 (or off 2 or 3) becomes $2.25/1 (or off 2 or 3), etc. So, for instance, a $3 item becomes only $0.75 out of pocket!

I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC day today!
*spreads roses and lollypop cheer everywhere*

        • jb

          ugh.

    • Dave

“Guest” reminds me a lot of Marry…

    • Dave

Do you know Mary who use to post on here? You remind me a lot of her and I’m sure you two would get a long a lot!

    • The person(s) running this site has taken the time out their lives and has asked for ZERO dollars so that WE all could take advantage of a great deal and save some of OUR hard earned money and they deserve more respect than what some are giving on here. Harris Teeter is famous for doing “supers” one month and just regular events the next…and sometimes it just doesn’t pan out the way we hope it does. That’s life and we just gotta deal with it! So with all that said…Thank you Southern Savers for all you’ve done. :)

      • lovemycoupons

I appreciate your comment and I too think people just need to chill out and appreciate what they have.
But please know that the people that run this site, including Jenny, make a living from running this site. They dont do it for free. It costs hundreds of dollars, maybe thousands, I’m sure annually just to have this website up and running and I know she is not paying for it without getting something in return. She gets money from companies that advertise on this site and I have a feeling that if she wasn’t getting paid, then she probably would charge us to use the site.
So, I am glad we get to use the site for free, it’s saved me a ton of money and time and I think that couponing is awesome. And if Jenny gets paid to have this site up, then that’s awesome too.
Hope everybody has fun couponing, I know I’ll see everyone at HT bright and early with their coupons in hand. :)

        • Oh I know that bloggers get paid for their services but I was just speaking of the fact that we’re not charged anything to get this list and even to print it off. :)

          • lovemycoupons

            got it. :)

        • Chery

I agree, plus, nobody is taking anymore time out of their lives than anybody else making a living. This is a good website for coupons and that’s about it. Glad to have access to this website but I wouldn’t pay for it. Thanks again for the good blog.

    • ck

Not overly excited about the deals this time.

      • David Ballinger

same here! Got some some cool stuff today, but nothing super great.

    • jan of nc

I don’t understand the free pepsi info under the Evic pepsi 12-packs. Does someone know how to get the free 9-pk WYB 3 12-packs?? Thanks in advance!

      • Kelly

You have to use your VIC card, buy the 3 12packs at 2.77 each and when you ring up the 8pack, the price will automatically deduct from your total at the end.

    • Jenniferl

I flagged this whole thread. Waist of time. Have a nice day. Chuckles

    • Di

Can you get the Pepsi deal (3 12pk) for $2.77 each more than once? Once today and again tomorrow?

      • guest

It’s only a limit of 3 one time for one transaction. If you don’t buy them all in the same transaction, you won’t be able to get another one later.

    • MacBear1000

Just a word of caution for harris teeter shoppers..maybe no one else has had this problem, but the last two times i’ve shopped there my ZVR coupons are not coming off.

      • 7sMama

Our manager is very nice, and when we bring this to their attention, they check the receipt and give us cash for what should have come off. Sometimes the ecoupons do not work, but they usually find a way to make sure to honor the offer.
