These are the best deals at Harris Teeter for this week that starts today 9/30.  It was reported that this week would be super doubles, but it appears looking at many online store ads that no area is having that this week.  If you find a store that is having super doubles let us know!

shoppinglist1

Remember:
1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items, each item will ring up half price.
2. Coupons are doubled that are .99¢ or less.
3. They will double 20 coupons per day/transaction.
4. You must have a VIC card to get sale prices and for your coupons to double.
5. Most stores only allow one coupon per B1G1 deal, so only buy one per transaction if possible.

    • Wow Jenny- do you ever sleep?? LOL! Thanks for the post! I am a little, ok, LOT bummed abuot no SD this time around as I was hoping to be able to use a bunch of q’s before they expire tomorrow. Oh well!

    • Just got my HT ad. No superdoubles in Charleston, SC

    • No SD coupons is a shame. The ads for my stores, Food Lion and HT, don’t look that good this week. I may just stay home.

Thank you so much Jenny. Thanks to you I will be posting picks very soon of my first load of food going out to the shelter here in Greensboro.

    • Whitney Anderson

Bummer on SD!!!! Thank you for all you do to keep us up to date and for all of your hard work. Your dedication helps so many of us save money. I quit my job to be a stay at home mom to my two boys, so your information on how to save money is priceless. Have a GREAT day!!!

    • Ally Harrington

jenny i just wanted to say that your new shopping list thing is so awesome I LOVE IT! i have told my friends that have said that couponing is too much work that now you have taken half of the work out for them! thanks for all that you do!

    • Dawn

      I agree with the ladies.
Your work is so appreciated. I’d do matchups myself but don’t have a clue where to start.

      Thanks for all you do!

    • chasgal

Has anybody had trouble with their HT not taking the Off The Bone coupon? I tried to use mine a couple of weeks ago (not during Triples) and the teenage “manager on duty” said they couldnt accept it. I could barely understand him even aasking him to repeat what he said…he then was helping me look for the item, but I found out then he thought it was Pet food! What should I have done in this situation?

      • Take your receipt back to the same store, along with your coupon. They should give you a credit.

      • Janine

I was told that HT won’t accept internet “free” coupons.

        • My understanding is that they will not accept “FREE” coupons. As in, the coupon states “Free Gain Detergent”, no other purchase required. But if it’s a BOGO, or B2G1, then you are required to make a purchase to get the free item, and those they do accept.

        • hilary

i was told the same. no bogo Qs allowed at my HT either :(

          • bridget

Hmmm – I am going to try to use that BOGO q tomorrow and see what happens…the thing is that I got the link to get that coupon from a blinkie in HT – so if they are not willing to accept it, they should not put that promotion in their store.

    • tasneem

Love ur webiste ! its helped me so much!

    • Kim

      Thanks, Jenny! You’re a lifesaver!

    • Shawanda

      Thanks for all you do!!!!!!
A lil sad about the supper doubles…..:o))))!!! o well maybe we will have them shortly!

    • coupons090

first what is a super double ? and does anyone know when they may triple again ? never shopped there obviously but with their high amount doubles and triples it would be worth the trip if only there was a way to use more than 20

      • Joanie

A super double means they will double up to Q of $1.98 this is the time to use all your coupons $1 and over. It has been worth it for me to drive the 30+ minutes to my HT. Unfortunately I didn’t see the blog updates that there were no Super doubles and I used all my good Q’s this week! AHHH! :(

    • Angela

Our ad in Raleigh NC states limit of 2 Chlorox. Does that mean per VIC card, or just per day?

      Thanks!

    • Denita

The Harris Teeter’s in Nashville,TN is advertising the 0.99 doubles. No Super Double’s this week.

    • Jenny, thanks for the printing tip to make the list larger, my eyes really appreciate it.

    • Karla

The Harris Teeter on Sav. Hwy (Hwy 17) in Charleston had boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $1.49/pound yesterday. Not sure if this applies to all Harris Teeters or if this was specific to this one store for yesterday only. I noticed most of the dates on the chicken were Oct 3 and 4. Perhaps they were just trying to get rid of a surplus. Great for the freezer, though!

    • Ashley Jordan

Hey y’all…this is my first time on Southern Savers (yay!)…I am curious about the “Game Day Meal”….is that on a specific day or is that all week long? Thanks!

      • Tina

I was wondering the same thing!

    • anyone having trouble printing the dukes mayo coupon?

    • am i crazy or did this list include pepsi 12pks for $2.75 at some point?

    • What happened to the new ad this week? I was just printing it and then it went away!
