Looking for something fun to do with family? Don’t forget the National Park Service is offering FREE admission to everyone on certain days.  During the entire year the National Parks Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone.

There are 409 parks to visit throughout the United States so there is sure to be one near you.  This is also a great opportunity to look for some of these parks near your summer vacation spots.

Check out this list of the Park Locations by State.  Mark your calendar for these entrance fee–free dates in 2016:

  • January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • April 16 through 24: National Park Week
  • August 25 through 28: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 24: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11: Veterans Day
