Kroger Logo

The Kroger ad starting 1/1 has two different special promotions running: buy 4 P&G products and get $4 off instantly and a promotion with Kellogg’s & Keebler products. On the P&G products, the Kroger eCoupons listed will not be live on Kroger’s site until Sunday morning.

I have no doubt there will be more participating products in both promotions so look for an updated list Sunday evening.

are you really able to use the 40/1 coupon for an 8oz size on the 7.5oz bottles?  I have always been afraid this would not work.

      • guest

It will scan, but the coupon is not the size for the sale!  :(  Stinks though!

        • tammi

This was addressed in previous comments – some Krogers are accepting them since Softsoap doesn’t even make an 8 ounce item.  (12 ounce is next size up)

      • Coupon Meg

No you can’t.  This might be an oversight.  Chances are they machine would catch it – but even still we don’t want anyone to get in trouble.

    • Tori

Can you use a Kroger Ecoupon with a manufact. coupon?

      • Cl3v3rgirl33

Unfortunately they no longer let you do this.  Be sure before you go to decide if you want to to use an e-coupon or a manufacture, because the e-coupon will have to be removed from your Kroger card.

        • Godsprincess91

I always ring up my items without the kroger plus card, put in my paper coupons and then scan my card and it takes both.

          • Smokeymtnsunshine

Last time I tried this the couputer freaked.

        • Laura

And not all e-coupons have a remove button. The ones you add from cellfire or P&G’s websites don’t and some you add from krogers site don’t either.

      • Tammy7506

No, you can not. If you already have ecoupon with your card, the computer will use ecoupon first. And ecoupon doesn’t double so be careful when you load your ecoupon. Better check what you have in hand first.

      • Ibdqt34

No, not for a single item. And ecoupons do not double.

    • Rhea

        SS 1/1 has a .40/1 Q that doubles in most stores…= 8c

        • Ibdqt34

That’s if you use the coupon incorrectly. It’s .88/1 for a 7.5oz bottle. The coupon is for 8oz or larger.

    • CouponMeg

Can some one clarify – I am wondering if I am reading this wrong.

Dawn Dish Detergent, 10.1-24 oz, $1.99

-.50/1 Dawn hand renewal, PG 1/01

      (makes it 99¢)

After the $4 off of 4 – won’t it be free?

Or have I read something incorrectly?  Thanks to anyone who can clarify!

      • Rhonda

1.99 is the price AFTER mega sale.  So 1.99 – double coupon is a final price of .99 each.

        • Coupon Meg

I guess I thought that 2.99 for a bottle of dish-washing soap was crazy in the first place – so I assumed it was 1.99.  Am I wrong – isn’t 1.99 not such a great price.  It was been a while since I have paid anything about tax for dish-washing soap but the matchups aren’t as good as they used to be – so maybe I need to take advantage.  Anyone have thoughts?

          • lal

Yes, 2.99 is high for dish soap.  I think it is probably for a larger size Dawn.   The small Hand Renewal bottles are usually 1.69 reg price at my store.  HTH

          • Dsquared9895

It’s a bigger bottle of soap.. It actually is a good deal for .99.. last time it was on sale at this price (during the summer), I bought 4 bottles and I still have one and a half (I handwash most of my dishes too)

      • sisi

I think she puts the price with the $4.00 off.

      • Susie Aldridge

this is more like it with the sales now

    • greg

i have notices everyone who is posting the kroger deals is leaving off the old spice body wash which will be 2.49  after mega deal and there is a coupon in the p & G insert for sunday for $2 off any one old spice body wash making it 49 cents

      • Chiefsangeleyes

Not a bad price, but body wash is usually free…HTH

    • Burtmar

If your Kroger is a 24 hour store, when will the prices be in the computer system?

      • In my area they switch a little after midnight, so you may want to check with your store before shopping.

      • Laura

Front page of the sale paper every week says sale prices begin at 7 am Sundays and end at midnight every Sat.

        • ShelNNate

Also, it depends on region. I am in Cincinnati and the Kroger sales ads usually run from Monday to Sunday instead of Sunday – Sat like I think I read most of yours do. I was gearing up to go today but just noticed my ad for this week reads “SALE DATE: 7am Tuesday January 3 thru Midnight Sunday January 8, 2012”

How can I find out what Kroger sales division I’m in?  I checked their website and the only thing I found listed TN in three different divisions.  I’m in the N’ville area.  Thanks.

I’m in the Nashville area too.  We are in the Louisville region.

    • Beth

When I went to Kroger’s ecoupon site, Tide was .50 off. Here it says ecoupon is worth $2. Is this wrong, regional, or am I missing something?

      • coupondad72

the 2.00 coupon wont be active until tomorrow

    • Deb

My Kroger only accepts two printed coupons (meaning the ones I print from my computer) per transaction.  They don’t have their coupon  policy displayed anywhere except in a book that the cashiers have at their registers, and the website doesn’t say that.  They allowed me to use more once when I pointed that out, but they aren’t allowing me to do it again.  Very frustrating…

      • Niddi

I had the same problem at my Kroger, was told I could only use 2 per day. Called corporate to complain about how restrictive that is. Was informed that it is not per transaction or per day, it is per like item.  They called the store  and I can now use more than just 2 printed coupons.

        • Deb

I’ll have to check into calling corporate as well.  I usually shop at Publix because their coupon policy is so much better, but there are some deals that I get at Kroger, especially to get the fuel points.

      • Ibdqt34

I had the same thing happen. Now, they have the policy printed in a little clear ‘case’ at Customer Service. I must say, they are so restrictive and seem annoyed when you give them your coupons. It almost makes me not want to shop there. :-(

      • shellschu

I emailed Kroger corporate and got the official policy. (I sent it to Jenny a while ago.) Each store can set their own policy based on the local market. My store only allows one IP per transaction which will not double.  Curtailing my Kroger shopping in favor of Publix.

    • steph

Am I correct in assuming the ecoupon is only good for one item?  It’s not like Walgreen’s which applies the store coupon to every one of those items in the transaction?

      • You are right, the eCoupon will only come off one time no matter how many items you buy.  It also will not double.

        • steph

Thanks!  That’s what I thought.  Would it be dishonest to give them the paper q first and then scan the card at the end, getting the Tide for .99??  Or would that even work???

          • It is against their coupon policy, so probably a yes on the dishonest part.

          • Tiffany Little1

            no that will not work

          • Ashhp0613

If you waited to scan plus card your coupons will not double. So you would
            Lose.

    • Kiki29073

Use always coupon at dollar general will be cheaper.

    • Kenren801

blinkie in my kroger for $2.00 off charmin 9 rollor larger. Makes charmin $3.99 for 12 double rolls. Check your store!

    • Mel

Is the Kashi cereal really free as stated?  Wouldn’t it be $3 for 4 boxes?  I mean, I’m not complaining about that price… just trying to figure this out.

    • Amber

Does anyone know if the Tide promotion includes Free & Clear?

      • In the past all Tide bottles that size are on sale.  So you should be fine to get a certain time.

      • Liz

Yes. Picked up some today. Had to go to 2 Krogers to find it… first was sold out by 10am!

    • LW5324

I’ve seen this now at my Kroger for the past 3-4 weeks.  The Horizon Organic gallon milk (only skim and 1% varieties) is listed as a closeout item and ringing up for $3.24.  I’m loving that it is half price but I’m hoping they aren’t discontinuing it or anything…my Kroger is located in McDonough, GA.

      • There is a huge shortage of organic milk across the US right now, specifically the southeast. Horizon is one of the organic companies being affected by it. Some stores in the southeast (such as Publix and Kroger) aren’t even getting any in stock lately because of the shortage. I don’t know if this is linked to your stores price change, but I would ask your store about it. Search on yahoo for the article to get the full story.

    • Jennychie

I don’t quite understand the kashi cereal deal.

      • Kelliea

Neither do I.  If they are $2.99 each, and you buy 4 and use 2-$2 coupons and 2-$1 coupons, how does that make them free after $3 savings?  I’m confused.

        • LW5324

The listed price of $2.99 is after promo savings…so the sticker price is actually $3.99.

    • easley54

bounce dryer bar there is a 2.00 mfg. in the proctor gamble  home  sample pack coupons

    • Lmeaker

Kroger in Crossville, TN has had a $2 Charmin blinkie coupon on the shelf for the last several weeks.  I’ve been picking up 1 or 2 of them each time I stop in.  This will be a great week to redeem those!

    • Kris

fyi- Atlanta area AJC’s are missing some of the PG inserts. I am very disappointed after making a special trip for extra copies and every other one was missing.

      • Cathybodily

Yea, I notice that only 1 of the double paper had the PG flyer…I was wondering if that’s a new thing for this year….That’s crazy especially since  the double paper now  cost $3.99…

        • Anonymous

I could not believe the price when I saw it today! If it weren’t for all the good Qs today, I would have put it back.

        • ShRobinson

i work for a local paper company on the side, delivering papers to businesses every morning. for the double papers, we put one early edition and the regular sunday paper together. All papers should have coupon inserts. so you should be getting double the coupons. If they are missing inserts, someone is taking them out.

          • CHI

I got the AJC bundle for 3.99 and it only had one P& G insert and doubles on everything else (RP, SM).  I got them from walgreens and they keep them behind the register so i disagree that someone else is taking just the P &G out and leaving everthing else.  Went to CVS and the same deal, my cvs doesn’t keep them behind the register but the P&G was also missing.  I am not buyind the bundle again.

            • Mrscori2006

I get the double AJC yesterday and it had two P&G inserts. I got it at Publiix in McDonugh

      • Danica

I have 4 papers delivered each Sunday and not a single one had the PG insert in it…super bummed!

        • Cathybodily

Yea it looks like they only put it in the early edition…which would  be yesterday’s paper…

          • ryan

The P&G was in my delivered Sunday morning paper.  I’m in south Atlanta in Peachtree City.

            • Andrea

The P&G was in my Gwinnett Daily Post and it’s a much smaller paper than the AJC. Weird.

          • Megortiz63

I got it in my delivered edition, and in the early one I bought Saturday in Canton GA…and in the doubles I bought Sunday. I always page through them at the store so I’m sure I have them!

      • Jen Clark

i bought the double paper this morning (morning addition and evening edition together) and only got the PG insert in the morning edition.  I won’t be buying them together anymore!

      • Ibdqt34

:-( Sorry you went so far and got shafted! Remember, only subscriptions are required to put the inserts in them. I had to learn the hard way (like you!) and now, I go through the newspaper at the stand so I know! Good luck!

        • Actually, the papers I bought from the store had more coupons in them than the one that came to my house.  I got a Nestle insert in the papers from the store, but not at my house.

          • Guest

I have canceled my home delivery for this reason and others, all related to the unreliability of the AJC.  They just couldn’t handle delivering 4 papers each Sunday and there was usually a problem one way or another.  (and I thought home delivery would make it easier to get the paper – ha ha)  Between the missed papers and the weeks paid for with no inserts – it was cheaper to just buy the bundles at the store on the weeks when there were inserts and skip it when there were none.  It has worked out much better!

          • Guest

    • In my Kroger (Decatur, AL) the Horizon 8 oz milk is listed as $1 each, but they are ringing up 4 for $1. If you like your kids to drink these, I would check out your store to see if it’s that cheap by you too. They are regularly 3 for $4!

      • Rachel

That is great.  Our 3 yr old drank these while the power was out after the tornades.  I think I paid about $6 for 8 of them.  At that price, it might be worth buying a couple to have on hand just in case.

    • Boscarman

I cant get the TN Pride coupon to print.

      • cherylk

        I couldn’t either.

    • amanda

does anyone know if the herbal essence shampoo is still on sale after today i think it cost 2.88 right now? but monday will that price change i cant check the ads out because the site isnt working

      • lzip14

I was at Kroger today and Herbal Essence is part of the P&G sale making it 1.99 and then with the coupon from today’s ad its 0.99.

        • amanda

yes but wont that change tomorrow? im confused because the ad said its only good until today, unless i was reading it wong. and the coupon from the p&g was 1$ off so it it was doubled wouldnt it be free if it was 1.99$

    • Mslonas

Did anyone else notice more and MORE coupons are coming out w/o the “5” on the barcode, meaning they wont double??  I just noticed the Dawn coupon doesnt have that anymore! I hope it still doubles at Kroger

      • Ibdqt34

The whole P&G ad has ‘5’ in front of the bar code but it doesn’t say anywhere that it “does not double”. I think we could argue that in the store!

      • Tigress1321

the doubling is up to the grocery store and they pick up the tab. sob the 5 shouldn’t matter. a coupon with a “5 ” on it will double at kroger where the same coupon will not double at walmart b/c kroger picked it up as an incentive to shop there

      • Eb

It is the ones that start with 9 that will not double automatically – the ones that start with 5 should double.

    • M&MsMommy

Does anyone know how many P&G discounts you can get in 1 transaction? For example, I want to purchase 8 of the promotions products; would I get $8 off or do I need to do 2 seperate transactions to get the $4 off and then another $4 the second.

      • Debb12002

you can do them in one transaction unless they are the same product

        • M&MsMommy

          Thank you very much!!

    • Tlseals1

Does anyone know the size of the Old Spice body wash? I want to price match at walmart.

      • Ashley_Anderson

        16oz  Hope that helps!

        • Tlseals1

          Thanks a bunch.

    • Kikiher

Kroger had some 20 ct. Bayer advanced, regular and extra strength on sale for 1.99 and there is a $2 coupon out there off any bayer advanced aspirin product.  Makes them free.  picked up 2 this morning.  Although my kroger only had 3 inserts not 4 but I finally got my P&G.

      • Ibdqt34

Was the $2 coupon off of Bayer in another insert? The SS 1/01 only has $1/1. Thanks!

        • Kikiher

this bayer was in a older insert, not sure which one but probably a late November or early December

      • Mary

Thanks for posting. I was able to find these at my Kroger for $1.99.

    • Ashleyw81

I think I know the answer to this, but is there a limit to how many of the P&G deals you can do in one transaction?  If I buy 16 products, would I get $16 off?  Thanks in advance for the help.

      • Tigress1321

unless stated there is not a limit

      • Debb12002

p&g has a limit of 4 on each item you can do as many transactions as you want or that your store will allow

    • Pam

I love mega events. My bill after the sales started at 85.00 and after with coupons and paying taxes my bill was 40.00. Covergirl is part of the program. I purchased 6 of the single eyeshadows which was 1.55 after the mega event then used 3 of the 2.50 coupons. Did the old spice deal. Did 4 tides.

    • cherylk

My Kroger in Franklin, TN had all of the Christmas toys and a lot of the Christmas decorations 70% off! I just restocked my birthday toy closet. Got some great deals!

      • Anonymous

My store didn’t have any decorations left, but had candy at 30% off. And the Reeses were $5.99 regularly… ridiculous!

    • Nicole

New to Kroger and shopping.  With the P & G deal, is it possible to do a transation that uses (1) manufacture coupon for (1) Tide,  (1) ecoupon for another Tide, in the same transaction?  I know I need to buy a total of 4 items…was planning (2) Tides, (1) Bounce and (1) Crest.   Or are you not allowed to buy 2 of (1) item in the same deal.

      • cherylk

I bought 4 Charmin today and got the deal.

      • wendy n.

you can buy 4 of the same items and mix and match manufacturer and ecoupons.  You just cannot use both on a single items…you can also mix and match products as long as they are participating items :)

      • Ibdqt34

Yes you can! I’m planning on doing something similar. You can also buy multiple of the ‘any 4’ deals. I’ll be buying a total of 12 participating items.

      • shellschu

In GA, at my Kroger, any printable coupons do not double.  Not sure about your store. Just an FYI if you are planning on a tight budget.

        • I am in GA but my kroger doubles printed coupons upto 50 cents. The Kroger eCoupons however do not double! Thats why I only load high value eCoupons to my Card and always use printed or clipped paper Coupons.

I am wanting to buy 4 of the downy/ bounce items that are part of the buy 4, save $4. I have 2 of the $1.50/2 downy or bounce items, and 4 of the .50/1 Downy products. Can I use the 4 .50/1 product AND 2 of the $1.50/2 products?? Which would have me saving $7 total with the coupons? with the mega event, I would pay $16 total for 4..after all the coupons, it would be $9 for all. Is this possible?

      • Megortiz63

if those are all manufacturers coupons, and you want to use them all,  you have to buy 8. one manufacturers coupon per product – the $1.50/2 each covers two products, and the .50/1 covers one, but they can’t be combined on the same item.

      • Ibdqt34

I bought just 4 of the Downy’s and used the .50/1 coupon because it will double and you’ll save $1 on each coupon ($4 savings). I’m holding out for super doubles at Harris Teeter and kept the $1.50/2 coupon just in case! HTH!

      • Ibdqt34

also, on the covergirl products, I have the $1/1 products, and the $2.50/2 products..can I stack those as well? Sving $2.25 per product, or a total of 44.50 on 2 products?

      • Megortiz63

same as the comment below, its only stacking when you use a competitor/store coupon and a manufacturers,if your store allows. As far as I am aware, Kroger’s doesn’t accept competitor coupons. If the coupons you have are all manufacturers, you can’t stack them, you have to choose – the $2.50 off two gives the best savings!

          Thanks!

Why is there coupons for breadcrumbs listed under the soups? (Progresso) Can you use the breadcrumb coupons for soup? I didn’t think I could do that

      • Dnsplus6

I was wondering that too…Who has the best deal on Progresso soups this week?

    • Moorercoupons

Hello everyone, I’m in need of carnation breakfast essentials coupons. Willing to trade coupons. email me at moorercoupons@aol.com if you can help.  Thanks!!!

      • Moorercoupons

I was able to find all I need on EBAY! Thanks for the tips.

    • Sunflower_rn2003

Here in Evans, GA I made out with a Great bill from Krogers with the p&G event. You could do up to 4 same items in one transaction so I actually had 16 items for my $16 off. The best part was I had a 10% off total purchase and my mistake I had the cashier do that last and she said I should have done it before to save more money cause I had $30 in coupons. I thought that was awesome of her to tell me. I still spent  $182.54 for $400 worth of roduct

      • Ibdqt34

How did you get a 10% off your final bill? Did that come in your quarterly home mailer?

        • Sunflower_rn2003

It was a home mailer, I have been getting similar ones like once a month since Oct it is either 10% or $5 off of $50 they just started coming to my house?? I was Super excited about it. I dont know if it is regional or something like that obviously it is linked to my plus card

          • Products81

how do you get a home mailer? ive signed up online over a month ago,and havent recieved anything, maybe it takes longer? or maybe i didnt sign up for it when i signed up online for account and to update my address..

            • Benjamietaylor

I think they keep track of how much you shop there and when you shop there frequently they start sending the home mailers.  I had been signed up for a long time but it wasnt utnil I started going every week did I start getting the home mailers

            • Guest

ah yes… the elusive home mailers…
nobody really knows why some get them and some don’t…
I never did until I started calling customer service and complaining on a regular basis.  It took several times and I still don’t know what it was that started them coming, but eventually they did start – BUT – I have never gotten something like a $/$$ coupon!
              Good Luck!

    • Do

      Hello everyone.
Can I use coupon $1/1 for the Olay Body Wash and $2/1 Secrete Deodorant WYB Olay Body Wash for one Olay Body Wash and one Secrete Deodorant?

      • Products81

Im not 100% sure, but im thinking that you cant use both, the reason why, is because, its $2/1 when you buy the secret and one of the other stated item, so it is combined items for q, and you cant use 2 q on the same 1 item, which would be for the $1/1 body wash, but then it also does not state can not combine with other offer/coupons, so i would just try and see if it works with both q,never hurts to try :)

      • Nonnie Mouse

It depends on which item the manufacturer tied the coupon to. If they tied it to the Olay, you’re out of luck since you can only use one Q per item; if tied to the Secret, it should work. Just be up open and honest with the cashier if you decide to try it.

      • ericswifeowensmom

The wording of the coupon leads me to believe that you should be able to use both together. It says $2 Secret WYB Olay so that should attatch to Secret. The other is $1 on Olay only-one coupon for each item and neither say $X on itemA AND itemB-you can’t combine coupons that say AND

      • Jacksonsiler

Hi! i have done this several times and never had a problem i also used the 4.00 off olay silky or embrace with the other two coupons and i got it for .47

    • Anonymous

Louisville, Ky…. Kroger hot buys.  Softsoap handsoap  $.88 – use $.40 coupon in yesterday’s paper which doubles makes it $.08 a piece.  StarKist Tuna Salad pouches. On sale for 4 for 5 – use $.50 coupon on one which doubles of course making it $.25 each. Saved 64% with $23.95 in coupons for ad buys.

      • guest

watch the softsoap coupons, most of the time they are for 8oz size while the sale is on the 7.5oz.

        • Anonymous

          Worked great.. no problems today.

          • Ibdqt34

It’s not about if it worked great. It’s about using the right coupon for the right product.

            • Efranks41

From other posts I’ve read, some Kroger stores are honoring the coupon because the vendor does not sell an 8 oz. Soft Soap. Don’t believe Guest is trying to be dishonest. We must allow for store discretion in our comments!

    • Skinny Cow is on sale and there is a coupon for it on Walmart’s website.

      • Ibdqt34

The candy or the ice cream? If you go to Kroger, and buy 5/$10 Lean Cuisines then you get skinny cow candy for free ($3.50 value at my Kroger). Plus, there is a $1/5 coupon in SS from Sunday!!!

        • Megansoeder

          How? I got 5/$10 and I didn’t!

    • Abigailfr

i did two of the Kellogs deals to get 2 free gallons of milk- the ad said limit 2- but when i got home and checked my reciept, i only got one milk free. i figure i can call the manager but would have to go back up there to get reimbursed. its such a pain. anybody have this happen to them?

      • Terrie

Oh yes. I dont live far so I go back. You really have to watch em. You can call the manager, save your reciept and get it when you can go back. I’ve done that too.

        • DianneL

Be sure and write down the manager’s name so when you go back in later, they know you are legit.

      • Ibdqt34

A similar thing happened to me. I got into the car, realized the error and went back in. Super easy and the staff was friendly. I just posted yesterday about Kroger not being so friendly. Perhaps it’s the weekend staff because I hadn’t seen a lot of the people working in there today.

    • Shauna

Is $2.99 a good price on the Tide? I’m trying to figure out a stock-up price! Please help!

      • Products81

yes, for my area stores and offers here, it is, at cvs its 3.94 after sale and q, heb is believe it or not after sale and q, 5.94 lol(looked and saw people buying it,wow)

      • Jcwiakala_44

For Tide, that’s a fantastic price.  You can find other detergents cheaper (1.49-1.99), but if you’re brand specific, this is a stock up price for Tide.

      • Ibdqt34

I agree with others. Great stock up price! I bought 4! 1 digital coupon and 3 other manufacturer / paper coupons. Perfect deal!

      • Sparen_und_nix_zahlen

I payed $1.94 (after coupons) today for tide at my local walmart I just price matched the cvs add ($3.94 on the back of the salespaper). Awesome deal :)

        • Products81

I didnt know you could do that…because walmart goes of the sale price of item from competitors, like cvs sale price is 5.94, so they would price match at the sales price not after coupon price?? plus my ad here doesnt show 3.94 as sales price shows 5.94. just wondering how that was allowed, must have been a new cashier or am i missing something walmart allows now???

          • Sparen_und_nix_zahlen

I have always done the sales prices (always different cashier) and never had a problem with it. Even the store manager came over one time and made sure the price was correct in the ad he saw the before and after..
What I don’t do is the “its like getting it for free”
I live in NC Holly Springs is were I go.

          • MRB

This is not right. The SALE price is $5.94. Then the ad says -$2 mrq Q in Sunday paper, pay $3.94. If you price match the $3.94 price and use the $2 Q, you are basically using the coupon twice. The whole point of Walmart’s PM policy is that you can get the same price there as at the other store. You would not be able to get the Tide for $1.94 at CVS. You would pay $3.94 after the coupon. IMO matching the after coupon price isn’t right.

            • Ich

Says who, you?!? They advertise “we will match it” bring the ad. Maybe you are just jealous because you haven’t thought of that ;) lol

            • MRB

Yes, they match SALE prices. The sale price is $5.94. If you look at your ad, the $3.94 price is AFTER the $2 coupon from P&G. They are just letting you know you can get it for that after you use the coupon. But that is not what they are selling for at CVS. They are $5.94. You are price matching a price that has already had the coupon applied, and then using the coupon again. I’m sure if you called corporate and asked they would tell you you can’t PM the after coupon amount. It isn’t a sale price, it’s CVS letting you know there are coupons out there that match their sale items.

            • Anonymous

I agree.  I was so excited when I saw that first post.  Drove all the way to CVS in the snow with my 1 year old.  Saw the ad says $5.94 as the sale price then minus the $2.00
coupon.  What a waste of time!

      • h.c.

have you ever tried to make your own laundry soap? just made my first batch- 10 gal of soap for less then $5 and 20 min of time! works great for my family of 5!

        • Shauna

I’ve thought about making my own laundry soap, but boy my mom is BRAND loyal to Tide! I’m trying to break her of it. Does the homemade stuff work as well as Tide? Thank you!!

          • Kwikzotic

read someone mixing in tide to their mix and smelled the same maybe keep the bottles and fill with the mix and tell her later. just a thought

        • Neverrestranch

          would you share your recipe?

    • Terri

I found a $2.00 off secret when you buy olay bar or lotion in pg 1/1. Do you think we can use both if we buy a deodorant and a lotion? I’m going to try it.

      • Marnieh

I did.  And the 2 packs of the olay massage shaped bars are $2.49 at my Kroger.  So $1 off those made them $1.49.  The $2 coupon on the Secret came off at $2 even though it would be $.99 after the #4 deal.  This is because the $4 comes off your total order and not the individual items so I got both for about $.49.

    • Linzy1317

great P & G deals! I bought 4 Tides, 1 bounce dryer bar, one downy fabric softner and 2 febreeze set & refresh for a total of $53.00 before coupons, after coupons i paid $18! fantastic for tide lovers like myself

      • Lea

You misused coupons on the Downy – if you bought (2) products, and used $1.50/2, you cannot also use .50/1, as the $1.50/2 applies to BOTH products.

        • Products81

Well i did not know I Misused coupon, because the manager is the one who rang it up,(and it scanned fine) but if I did, I will look into that to double check if you are correct..thanks for the info

If anyone was lucky enough to find the $2 Charmin blinkie at Kroger and you aren’t planning on using it, I’d love to have it!
      andersoncouponmommy@gmail.com

      • Products81

I wish I could even find blinkie! My knrogers had them, and then next thing I know, they took them all out, replacing with just a sign..:( maybe i have to go to another krogers

    • Products81

I hope that they come out with the hamburger helper on sale for $1..before next month, they usually have them on sale every few months, lets hope that is the case this month :) and same with totino’s pizza for 5/5 sale.. the q would really come in handy if both go on sale, seeing no krogers here doubles any more…

      • Tjwhited

Walmart has hamburger helper for $1

      • Guest

have you ever made your own hamburger helper?  It is really easy to do (there are recipes all over the net) and if you use free pasta and sauce (from couponing), it is way cheaper than the boxed version (and way tastier imho).  Of course you still have to add the meat, so that is where the bulk of your cost is going to be either way.

    • Teresa

I went to my Kroger to get the soft soap and the sale is for 7.5 oz and the coupon is for 8oz or more. They would not except my coupon, and made me feel like I was stealing!! I usually always read the labels and coupons…

      • MoneyManagingMom

Teresa — I used them and didn’t notice the wording until I handed them to the cashier. She mentioned to me that they had decided to take them because Softsoap doesn’t even make an 8oz product the next size is 12oz? She said it was so close, .5 oz, and that it would round up to 8.0. I was so glad. I hate when they make you feel like a thief. Kroger usually does that to me too. My Publix on the other hand is fantastic.

        • Efranks41

That’s still nice of Kroger to honor the Q!

    • Lisagrady22

Went to Kroger in Atlanta on Moreland Ave.  Not a good experience.  I had no more than 5 like coupons which were for food items (tennesee pride sausage gravy & a raincheck for the toblerone candy bars).  And with the P&G sale only had 4 like coupons for 2 of those items (tide & old spice body wash).  After I had put my items on the belt and pulled out my coupons I was told by my cashier that they now have a new coupon policy where you are only allowed to use 1 like coupon.  I’m sorry, but does anyone else think that this is absolutely insane?  I haven’t wanted to shop at Kroger because of their changes & mostly their behavior every time I pull out my coupons.  Let’s just say I ended up leaving the store with my items still on the belt.  I also called another Kroger and they had no such changes & had never heard of anything so crazy.  Kroger do you really know what your managers are doing?

      • Products81

Each kroger store varies, kroger has a basic layout for there coupon policy, but states that store manager has the right to refuse, and change amount of coupons at managers choosing, so it is the manager, i would just go to another krogers, hope you have better luck at another on,silly how kroger allows the manager to choose there policy and change if they feel so, kroger should have a policy and no manager should be allowed to change it, so it wont confuse customers..

        • Lisagrady22

I absolutely agree regarding the confusing the customers.  Or more so frustrating the customers.  Because I didn’t take the time to actually speak with a manager, I don’t even know if the cashier was making up the rules as she was going along.  My loss of course.  Will of course call before I step into that particular Kroger.

      • JoslynCoupons

Lisa, just take the time and go to Food Lion.  That is what I do.  Even if you have to make the drive, it is worth it.  They match Kroger, Publix, AND Ingles prices and they double coupons up to $.60.  I just plan my trip and go to the one store.  It makes life so much easier.

        • Lisagrady22

I do like Food Lion & when my husband & I take extras to my mother in law we shop there.  Otherwise it is about a 45 minute drive (only 1 mile down the road from her, isn’t she lucky :0)….)

      • Lisagrady22

Last night I tried a different Kroger & had a  much better ending.  I got 4 tides (2 detergent, 2 wash booster, cant remember the proper name), 4 old spice body wash, 5 tennesse pride sausage gravy, 5 tuna fish, 5 tobberlone candy bars (rain check), 4 aussie hair products.  I think that is all I got.  Rang up to about $90 with tax.  Spent less than $25 with tax.  About a 74% savings.  I did speak with the manager about the above mentioned Kroger and he did state that in their region what the cashier said was wrong.  That I should try and get a hold of the regional office & file a complaint.  Even though changes can be made that this change was to the extreme and would not be tolerated.  Right now don’t have the fight in me to do so.  I now have to drive about 10 miles out of my way to shop and Kroger but if I will receive better customer service than the drive is well worth it.

    • Ryan

when there is an ecoupon (ie $2/Tide)  . . .  will it only take it off of one product or each Tide I purchase . . . and if it only takes it once – then can I then use paper coupons for the rest of them?    Thanks!  I usually avoid ecoupons . . . but . . .

      • Kwikzotic

it will only take it off one and you can use paper ones for the rest.

    • trying

Where I live the Kroger sales begin on Wednesday. So today I got 4 bottles of Tide for $13.41!!!!  Had the $2 Q for each! No problem using 4 like coupons in one transaction.

      • Efranks41

That’s what I intend to do! Great price!!

Question on the proctor and gamble promotion: Do you have to buy this in multiples of four to get the price? For example, if I wanted to buy five items would I still get the price? Or would I need to buy eight?

      • Jaydnmommy

You would have to buy 8.  Unlink their 10 for 10, their mega events go by numbers, so you have to buy the amount listed in order to get the price.

    • laurensmithdesigns

Quick question! The P&G Promotional offer is for “SAVE $4 instantly at checkout when you MIX AND MATCH ANY 4 participating P&G products using your Shopper’s Card.”

If you buy in multiples of four, for example 16 items, is it possible to get $16 off in savings for the total order??

Today, I did 3 separate transactions to make sure I got 3 sets of $4off.  First, 4 tides $13.41. Second, 2 old spice deodarant, 2 honey oats cereal(1.50ea), 2 old spice body wash=$5.83. Third, 8 roll Bounty, 12 roll Charmin, 2 softsoap (8 cent ea), 2 old spice deodarant, 1 tide= $16.63.  I was happy!

Old Spice Deodrant is $1.99  AFTER $1 off at my Kroger Store, not $.99!

      • TnTeresa

Did you buy 4 of the P&G items to get the lower starting price? I used to not do that and they rang at reg price instead…

      • Anonymous

My store was very confusing, lots of the deodrant and oral care products were either not marked or just had the sticker that said “P&G participating item” with no sale price.

      • Anonymous

      • Amanda

mine was included, I guess it just depends on the store. Just take your coupons with you in case it is so you can use them!!

      Question about
$10 off of $50 purchase at Kroger.

Last night my wife and i went to kroger and Spent $51 , I was going to use the $10 off of $50 coupon but the cashier insisted on using the kroger card first because she said the coupon would not work without the kroger card , So after scanning the kroger card she said sorry your total is not over $50 even though we were both just looking at total of $51, I asked her to try to scan the coupon since the total had been over $50 before she scanned the card she refused to even try. I was going to ask for a manager but my wife started fussing and took the cashiers side. So i was like ok and paid.

Here is my question , the $10 off coupon does not mention total of $50 before or after kroger card , Does the total have to be $50 after they scan the kroger card?
      .

      • Annaelizabeth

You can take the coupon to the customer service desk and tell them the situation and they will honor the $10 and give it to you. But that is rude of the cashier because you do not have to enter your Kroger card in first…

      • Coupon Meg

The Kroger Card is not a coupon.  I believe the coupon is linked to the use of a PLUS card.  So you must use the plus card.  You can certainly use coupons – but it is not before your price of items before the plus card.

      • Tbirdwellx2

It has to be 50.00 before tax., so if you had 49.00 in product and 2.00 in tax it would not work.

    • I have a question for the P&G sale …. I have 12 items that I want on the list. Do I need to do 3 different transactions to get the $4 off of each group… or will I get $12 off total putting them all in one transaction? I hope that makes sense. :) Thank you! :)

    • Heybabe88

you can do multiples of 4 as many multiples in a single transaction as you want

      • Kwikzotic

i got 16 item in one order and 16 came off

I am confused…. I see the Old Spice Body wash is on sale for $2.50 on the list but I can’t find it in the ad anywhere…  I want to get Walmart to price match… can anyone HELP ?  I’m not sure they are going to accept “Jenny said so”….

      • MLM82LMM04

WALMART MATCHES THE AD NOT UNADVERTISED DEALS

      • Jen Baierl

The price listed at $2.49 is after the $4.00 instant savings at the register for buying 4 of the P&G Promotion, so Wal-Mart is probably not going to match that.  It’s not in the ad,  Kroger usually keeps a pamphlet of those items.

    • Someone said that I got get free shave gel at Kroger this week?

    • Alison

Does anyone know if the P&G deal is continuing next week as well? I know they normally do but things are changing all the time. I forgot to check a sale tag when I was at the store.

My Kroger in Covington, GA had a 10 for 10 bin with two bar packs of safeguard soap. Went great with the 35/1 coupon that is out, just thought I would share.

FYI, Eggo Waffles are not part of the Kelloggs promo. I just checked my ad’s fine print and they aren’t listed. And I didn’t get free milk when I purchased four of them.
