do u know if they are going to have a 4 day sale this week like last week?

    • Kris

Buy a 250 dollar gift card for Kroger and then use it on your purchases, and even gas…you’ll get 1.00 off per gallon!

      • cheryl

These 4x (and even the 2x) promotions on fuel points from buying gift cards DOES NOT include the Kroger gift cards. You have to buy a gift card for another store, restaurant, etc. Sorry.

        • AD

Are Visa and American Express gift cards included?  Those can be used on groceries at Kroger.

          • Anonymous

Probably, but be aware that they have activation fees.

            • AD

I just got my sale ad.  It turns out that they are not.  I guess gas cards would be the next best option for those of us who are not in the market for restaurant or specialty store cards.   Target cards would be nice, too, if they have them.

            • Laura

They do have Target but not walmart. They don’t have any drug stores, but seem to have every mall store. And they have lots of online retailers now. Last time they did this promo I bought Amazon & ebay, then a few Shell to use when I cashed in my gas points. I refer buying most things from amazon because they don’t charge tax & you can almost always get free shipping.

            • mrmdmom

Do all the gc have an activation fee?

            • Anonymous

No, I think it’s just the AmEx, Visa, MC types.

      • Thall561

I am not sure if it works for the Kroger cards. Last year it was only the other gift cards for the restuarants , etc…

      • Jedawh84

Kroger gift cards don’t get extra (or maybe even any) fuel points :(  I think AmEx, Visa, and MC do, but they have an activation fee so be sure to figure that in.

      • Laura

It says on the fine print offer excludes Kroger family of stores gift cards, green dot, moneypak, or any reloadable or variable load or prepaid debit visa or mastercard.

Fuel points are never given on kroger gift card purchases. I found that out a year ago when I was $10 short on fuel points on the last day of the month and got a $10 kroger gc thinking I’d be set.

        • Jimandrachael10

Been there, done that!  It doesn’t work!

        • EB

You do not get the prepaid debit cards or Kroger gift cards for gas points, but they do sell gas cards (I just checked my store and they have Shell and BP). We are traveling for thanksgiving and anticipate spending $200 in gas and I am thinking of getting $200 worth of Shell cards and that way one of the fill-ups can be 80 cents a gallon cheaper.

    • Anonymous

Publix has Kroger beat on prices for the exact same items! I’ll just be stopping by to pick up Home Depot gift cards and fuel up with the discount.

    • DNA

In the Houston area schick razors are on sale B1G1 and there is a B1G1 for any disposable razors (not 2 ct) in SS 11/6 so they are free

      • Talia Q

They may or may not work that way in your area. In my area, where Kroger had them for B1G1free, it rings up each at half price (using your store card) then if you try to use the B1G1free coupon, it will only take off one of those half-priced packs.  Other users I’ve seen in other areas say that their store scans at full price, then takes off the full price of the other. In that way, you might be able to get them both free. Recently my store went up on the price of these by 40 cents. It’s better to use a $3/1 coupon if you have it. At the very least, paying only 2.99-3.19 for 2 packs is better than paying full price.

    • Ray

Pretty weak ad this close to the holiday season.

    • Sha_renee74

Hi, I’m in the Delta Region and my question is do you have the Kroger ad, sales prices and coupons to post for my area?

      • Jen

The ad should be pretty similar throughout the country, with the exception of produce and meat items.  Also, your ad may start on Wednesday instead of Sunday (I’m in KS and our ad starts Wednesday, but I still use this list to get the best deals.  I just get a “sneak peek” and make sure I don’t try to go out to get these deals until after Wednesday).

        • Sha_renee74

Yes, my ad does start on Wednesday and I’ll “sneak a peek also”. Thanks for responding! :)

What’s a good price on butter these days?

      • Mel

$2.50/lb is pretty typical.  I don’t personally find it cheaper than that.

        • AD

If your town has an Aldi, it’s $1.99/lb. there.

      • Anonymous

Publix has their house brand for $2 this week.

      • Kianarae

I haven’t spent over a dollar on the tubs in months.  Coupons plus sales equals $.25-$.65 per tub/sticks.  In fact, I may need a butter intervention.  Besides the box of stick butter, I have nine tubs in my fridge.  Oops!  HA HA

      • Coxfamily

I think for real butter in the 4 stick pack $2.00 at Aldi is the best I’ve seen.

      • Inelek2178

There’s a $1.50 printable coupon for I can’t believe it’s not butter sticks. It’s on sale in Publix this week BOGO $2.47. Use 2 of the $1.50 coupons which makes it free + .53. This is in Atlanta.

    • Laura

I just found I had 2 of the $5/1 off schick hydro 5 razors that are expiring 11/20. At kroger I found they are included in the bogo sale at $5 so I was excited for free expensive razors.

The cashier flipped all thru the book of known fraud coupons and didn’t find it. I said well, you shouldn’t because they are legit. But she said she still didn’t feel comfortable with such high value so she had to go ask the manager. She returned and handed them back saying sorry, he decided no way.

I said take them off my bill then, she scanned one off but the 2nd would not come off so she said I had to buy it. I had also bought 2 quattro that were 3.14 and given her a bogo shick and a $2/1 to apply to the 2 quattro. It turned out that she had applied the bogo to the 2 hydro 5’s instead and that’s why it wouldn’t let her remove the $5 charge on the second. I was too confused to figure it out at the store, so I left.

I’m still trying to figure it out. With my Q’s I should haven gotten 2 hydro & 2 quattro for a total of 1.14. But it looks like I ended up paying $4.28 for 1 hydro & 2 quattro?

      • GuEsT

Laura, Next time make them bring the front end supervisor over and explain why you cannot use your coupons.. This just sounds like a kroger where there is a lack of good customer service and communication.

      • Bee

I purchased a total of 9 packages of men’s/women’s Schick products with those IP coupons and I was given no trouble at all. It seems that Kroger does nothing to promote consistency throughout the chain, which may be just a way for them to relinquish most of the control to local managers. If so, then you just won the lottery on finding a manager with a complete lack of discernment and who is training employees to be paranoid.

        • Laura

Last month the hydro was not included in the schick bogo so I didn’t use those coupons then. But I did have 4 of the $6/2 printables that I used with no problem at that same store. I used one at a time, and each cashier flipped thru the fraud book, didn’t find it, so they scanned the coupon and that was that.

I wish I had thought to point out, hey look at the schick bogo, value up to 13.99. If they put a 13.99 coupon in the paper why’s it so hard to believe they put a much smaller $5 online? Since the coupon expires today I think I’ll go back & try a different cashier.

      • Anonymous

She said you HAD to buy it and you BOUGHT it?? That doesn’t make sense to me unless you really did want the razors regardless…It is their responsibility to take off the item if you decide not to purchase it.

        • Laura

She said I had to buy it because it would not deduct and there no way she could make it. I said I’ll go get my money back from customer service.

Then standing in line at CS I saw the receipt said “free item” and had deducted $5.00. Since the razor was the only $5.00 charge on the bill that’s why it wouldn’t let her take it off. So I “bought” the razor but paid $0 for it.

      • Couponjulie201

If this is your only Kroger, you might do what I had to start doing at a Food City near me that became really IP coupon-paranoid (high OR low value): have them OK your coupons BEFORE you shop. Seriously. After getting caught out waiting at checkout 2x with a line of people behind me, while the bag girl took my IPs to the front end, they checked them, people behind me grumbling, bag girl finally bringing them back… I had enough. So I’d cruise by customer service and ask them to look at my coupons on my way INTO the store. If you’re going to get questioned, might as well get it over with early. And if there’s any they will not take, you can choose to not buy those items there or just take your business elsewhere.

    • Jill

Schick Quattro refill cartridges $11.99 B1G1 minus coupons

    • GUest

I just went to Kroger and bought 4 Old Spice body wash and tried to use 2- $1 off 2 coupons and 2- B1G1 coupons which I have done many times before with no problem.  The guy refused to take one of my B1G1 coupons! Ugh, he said he would have to override it which is not true.  He took1-B1G1 and 2- $1 off…what can I do to resolve this?

      • GuEsT

I work for Kroger and they have gotten really strict on their coupon policy.. It may have had to do with the fact that you wanted to combine (use both deals)  coupons on the same product. Next time they should scan it either way and the register will tell you if you can or cannot do it. We override coupons all the time if the coupons and the products are legit and do not get in trouble for it. Sometime a supervisor has to override if the cashier absolutely cannot get it to go through and the coupon is legit.. Next time have them call a front end supervisor and see what they tell you and why.. Hope this helps.

      • kathi

On your purchase of 4, you could use either 2 B1G1 and ONE $1/2 OR 1 B1G1 and  one $1 off 2.  The cashier was somewhat right, you can’t use all of them. I think using the 2 B1G1 w/ $1/2 would have been a better deal, but honestly it isn’t the cashier’s job to figure out which is better.  HTH

      • Michelledalton36

I believe the cashier was right in this case.Had it been the stores sale to BOGO then you would be buying all at half price.Since the coup was the BOGO you actually only bought 2 not 4.The $1 off coup was off 2 and since you used 2 BOGO the second 2 were free.  I hope that makes sense.

    • Denise

Does the buy 5 save $5 come off your other groceries or the if I buy the P&G product themselves, will it come off?

      • Denise

        I mean buy $25 save $5

        • GUest

I only bought PG products and it came off instantly!

          • Denise

Really! I can’t believe that mine didn’t… I read the same print on the in store sign and it said off non P&G items…

    • Amber

The 10/30 RP Pampers coupon is a Target coupon, not manu.

    • Antionetta

here is an unadvertised deal @ kroger: betty crocker boxed mashed potatoes (all varieties) 10/10.00 or 1.00 each! i had q’s from clipping service that were .50/2 that made each box .50. i believe there is also a printable q as well for .50/2 :) all of these q’s expire on 11/26/11!!!

      • Antionetta

i forgot, i’m in southeast region. metro atlanta to be exact

    • Vee

Some Alouette cheese spreads were discounted to $2.99 and would pair with the Alouette coupons in this morning’s papers.

    • Dananddanacasey

I found a peelie on the cascadien farm cereal for $1 /2 boxes. So I got 4 boxes and free milk for $8.00.

    • Cathybodily

I need coupon for Cream Cheese…..

    • Brit_5582

      Duracell batteries:
If you get 6 @ $4.44 = 26.64, which qualifies you for the 5$ off PG products so that takes it down to 21.64 and then i have 6- $.75 coupons as well, so that would bring the total to $17.14, making each item $2.85 each, which is an awesome  price. Is anyone see any problem with this scenario????

      • Denise

I tried doing the P&G deal at kroger and when I rang up all my items and let the store, I noticed that the $5 didnt come off. The customer service desk was closed. I look at my online ad and found this when I clicked on the P&G deal,
FALL FAVORITES in Beauty, Health & Baby

        instantly at checkout when you
buy $25 of participating products! Look for the
        special yellow tags for participating
products! *All items must be purchased in the same transaction with
Card. $5 savings on non-Procter & Gamble products in your purchase.

Is that true?? The $5 will come off non-P&G products? Is my store the one only doing this? Can anyone help? I haven’t read anyone do this P&G deal so I am confused…

I do hope it works out well for you!

        • Brit_5582

I dont know .. im incline to think that is a typo. You only get the 5$ off the participating P&Gitems. If all your $25 were participating you should have received a credit of $5. I would def take your receipt back to kroger.

        • Crystal

DId you buy other items besides the P&G items?  My ad said the same thing but I bought several other items at the same time and I got the $5 off.

          • Denise

Yes, I bought some water jugs but didn’t buy $5 worth so maybe thats why my receipt didn’t show a $5 coming off. My waters were cheaper than what the self tag said so I am assuming it took from there but where is did the rest go? I know now to always double check the small print.

        • Judy E Fisher

YES!  You have to REALLY watch what you’re doing when shopping Kroger’s “instant savings” specials.  Unlike its competitor, at Kroger only “selected” products are included in the sale, and it’s too late once you get to the checkout to find out.  You have to read ALL the shelf labels, which can be rather time consuming and frustrating!  I find that the items I really wish to purchase are often NOT included in the sale.  Its competitor, however, includes ALL of a product in its advertised sale, instead of “bait and switch” tactics, which I don’t appreciate as a consumer.

      • JenneyG

You can only use 5 alike coupons according to their new policy.

    • Elizabethggolden

Heads up on Annie’s Mac n cheese…. 3 for $1.00 at the Madison, Tn store.

      • Lexcher

In Kpt. tn they had it for 25 cents I bought over 50.  First I bought a few  went home and made sure my little boy liked it because he is picky and he loved it then went back and bought more

    • Chris

Crappy deals.  I am shopping less and less at kroger and more at publix.  Better coupon policy, better store, better deals.

    • Rbryant1201

In the Louisville region, Kroger is running a similiar sale on General Mills, Pillsbury, Nature Valley, Fiber One, Betty Crocker, and Cascadian Farms. Buy any 4 participating items at $2.50 each, get $3 off instantly. That makes them $1.75 each before coupons, and there are some coupons out there too. :) I’m going to be getting cereal for $0.75 – 1.25 per box, not bad! :)

    • Lcouponer

Anyone had this problem at Kroger: I bought 2 Welch’s sparkling grape juice and used a Kroger store coupon for $1.00 off 2 and a printable manufacturer coupon for $1.00 of 2 and the cashier was very ugly in her refusal to use both coupons saying I could not do that.I told her we can use a store and a manufacturer coupon and she kept going on an on and refused to scan it.Another problem I had was that I used the $1.50 Mars candy coupon that was a printable just before Halloween and she was giving me a hard time about it saying it was a Walmart coupon.I told her it only said “Available at Walmart” and not “Redeemable at Walmart” and she refused to scan the two I had for my 2 bags of Snickers and finally gave in when I insisted she tried it and when she did,it took.

      • Anonymous

Kroger stopped allowing printed and e manufacturer coupons on the same product quite a while ago.  You would have needed to buy 4 juices to use both coupons.  They don’t have “store coupons”.  If you loaded them to your plus card, they are manufacturer coupons unless I guess it is a Kroger brand item.  Also, my Kroger will never accept a printed coupon with Walmart or any other store.  I realize they should take them, just saying mine doesn’t either.

        • Lcouponer

Thank you all for explaining this to me.Dvegwen, when you said “They don’t have “store coupons”,I am a bit confused because I get Kroger coupons in the mail in a form of a booklet and some would have the words “Store coupon” and some would have “Manufacturer” coupon in the same booklet. Why would they have both “store” and “manufacter” in the same booklet if they do not have “store” coupons? But anyway, thanks veryone a lot for all the help.I am learning as I go.

          • Laura

Never throw out the ones that say store coupon, they have an exp date but it doesn’t matter. I still regularly use ones that expired April-Oct and they always work.

            • Parsons33

If you look all of the “store” Qs are for Kroger brand products, that’s why they have both. If they come in the Kroger book and the barcode begins with a “5”, it should NOT be stacked with another MQ as they are both MQs.

      • Blem02

The cashier was correct regarding the sparkling grape juice.  You’ve never been able to use a store and a manufacturer coupon on the same items.  You may be getting coupon policies confused with different stores but Kroger has never allowed stacking of store and mfg coupons.   As far as the redeemable at Walmart, it could go either way.  I think you should be able to use it.

        • Lcouponer

          Thanks for letting me know!!!

          • BertneyRoni

Kroger stores have different policies depending on the manager. I have always been able to stack coupons at Kroger. It is different, in varying regions, I hear. I would just ask the manager when you feel like the cashier might be wrong. In any case, I refused to be bullied by a cashier. I would rather ask the manager and take the chance and make sure they know about the cashier’s attitude problem. It should not be a big deal for them to take a manufacture coupon as well, since they are getting the money back from the manufacturer. And to answer your question below about store vs manufacture coupons, yes they are two different things, and you should be able to stack them. I think devgwen thought you were using e-coupons, in which case, most Krogers have stopped letting you stack a paper coupon on top of an e-coupon. (Mine still allows it, and I’m so stinkin thankful!) Hope that helps.

            • guest

store coupons are for kroger branded items.. if you have like a generic one say like 2$ off 10$ baby department, and you decide to get diapers.. you can use the kroger store coupon because it says kroger at the top, and then also use a man say huggies or pampers.. they will allow that.  Just check the top.  It will say store or manf on it.

      • Caredoll

Most of the coupons issued by Kroger are manufacturer coupons. They can actually be used at other retailers. Check the print at the top of the coupon. It will say whether it is a store or manufacturer coupon.

    • Pattinsoldier

I don’t see an organic section on the list this week.  Are there really NO organic sales??  Bummer!  Anyone know if the blue diamond crackers catalina deal is still running?

Yes it is, I got it tonight with the canned almonds, running through 11/27.

does anyone know where I can get Barilla coupons? I searched the internet and there was expired coupons from last year so I haven’t been able to find any!!!

      • Gmcouponer

I checked for you, go to ebay and type in barilla pasta coupons. When I get mine from there I always look for the buy it now deals so they can mail them out the next day….Just a note  if you do this go get a rain check for the pasta. The mail is going to get bogged down any day so that way you will get your deal…

Kroger in Perry Georgia has Halloween Candy 50 percent off.  But it doesn’t have Halloween decorations.  And the coupon for 1.00 off Reese’s, etc.  works with this !  Great deal !  Butterfinger, M and M’s, Twix, Snickers (in gold paper so it will work for Christmas stockings), and more.

VERY surprised at Kroger’s lack of more holiday preparation deals!  Shopping less and less at Kroger lately.  Marketing dept needs to reevaluate what patrons want.  My shopping list for Kroger’s competitor is MUCH longer than my Kroger list was this last Saturday.

Those doing the 4x points for gift cards, here’s a deal if you also like coors beer.
There is a tearpad of forms by the beer that says buy one 18 pack of coors light or coors banquet and $100 worth of any gift cards and get $25 back by mail in rebate. Offer good thru 1/8/12.

Found a MIR form on Miller beer also, buy a 12 pack or larger miller + a smithfield ham $8 or higher + any bread $2 or higher and get a $10 rebate by mail. Offer good thru 1/8/12.

Whom ever said that Kroger doesn’t have “store” coupons is incorrect.  I live in the Atlanta area and they do send out their store coupons and the Kroger here DOES ALLOW STACKING… manufacturer and a kroger store coupon but lately I have broke off my relationship withh Kroger as I have found that Publix saves me more and it  is a nicer cleaner store.  :)

Thanks for clarifying that because I live in North GA and have been stacking store and manufacturer coupons since I’ve started this a few months ago and never had a problem until recently.I wish we had a Publix and Target nearby.I have to go to Cleveland,TN if I want to shop there since that is the closest but I have to pay the higher TN state tax.
