can't wait to find out what this is about!!!!!

    • ChefLezlie

Anyone have any hints on how to get on Kroger's mailing list. I know they have my address because I have the Plus card and I'm registered online with them. But I'm not receiving any of these really cool coupons or anything in the mail.

      • WynetteC

I've had their card for over a year. Was told by a phone rep. that I didn't spend over the $400-600 mark per month for their chain and that is what they look for. So I called a local Kroger in house and she mailed me from her office every kind of Kroger coupon book there was plus generated sheets of Kroger coupons. But those all expired mid Feb. and I am still not on their list, it's an odd group to get in on. I love Publix, they are fair all the way around when it comes to who can access their coupons.

        • Sunny

Weird. I don't spend that much a month, but I'm on the list.

        • Barb

Wow at the $400 minimum. Even when I wasn't doing coupons I did not spend that per month at all grocery stores combined for a family of five. They are obviously seeking the spendthrifts.

I wonder if they evaluate each month or if you could spend that one month (maybe stocking up) and stay on the list awhile.

          • WynetteC

Maybe, just maybe it means that amount before savings and coupons. :::shrug:::

      • I'm not either. I spent half an hour on their website looking for a place to sign up or change my profile settings. Nothing!

      • BlessedSmith

I just started getting them I probably spend in the neighborhood of $100 a month after coupons. They must somehow relate it back to your spending since I received a couple of coupons that said chosen for you and they were items I regularly purchase. I did go on a while ago and I updated my mailing address and info even though it was already listed correctly.

      • michelle

I emailed Kroger last week about their coupons and this was their reply.

Thank you for contacting The Kroger Co. We apologize you have not received coupons. Our mailings are based on a very complex amount of data that takes in to consideration frequency of shopping, total spend, spend by shopping trip, type of items that are purchased, departments that are shopped in the store and other factors. Your must establish a shopping pattern in our store, once a pattern has been established you will begin to receive coupons in the mail.

        Hope that helps.

        • Sunny

My huband loves Doritos. We buy them all the time. They usually send me a coupon for a free bag of Doritos. All of the coupons are things that I usually buy, or only splurge on if there is a good deal on them. They're pretty good at that.

        • The coupons I get from them are on things that we have purchased in the past and many of them are things that we normally purchase or frequently purchase. So maybe you have to buy so many of the same products before they send you coupons I wonder? This is what it sounds like from them saying you must establish a pattern.

        • LARAMI

Thats sucks!! Maybe just MAYBe if they mailed EVERYONE coupons the would shop there more!! That makes No sense!!

      • aimeehenderson

i had to call and talk with someone in customer service and they loaded $10 off on my plus card for the inconvenience…mine was a swap up with a family member of the same last name but it could be a typo or an old address. call the number and talk with a rep.

      • cheapchix

call 1800KROGERS speak to CS. I just did this yesterday. Good luck

      • ChefLezlie

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'm going to call C.S. some time soon.

      • Barbara

I have a friend that shops at Kroger weekly and was not receiving the coupons by mail and she went to the service dest and asked about it and they gave her a phone number to call and they put her on the list and she is now getting them.

    • BethMc

I probably spend $400-$600 a YEAR there (if that) and I get their mailings. I've never figured it out.

    • Sounds exciting, can't wait to figure out what they've got in store for this mega event! Thanks for the heads up!!!

    • amy

After 7 months, I finally started getting those Kroger coupons.

    • wnblyons

I'm wondering if I should cancel my trip on saturday and wait until Sunday? Do you think the deals will be that good? I am so new to coupons I don't know what to do!

      • bridget

Might as well wait if you can. The mega sales are usually pretty good, in fact it is the only time that I shop at Kroger. If you wait, then you will also have the coupons from the Sunday paper to work with.

      • I was thinking about going shopping on Saturday too, so I might be waiting for this Mega event to start and do my shopping on Sunday instead, since it sure sounds like they might have better deals if you wait!

      • Beth

Can you view your new ad online at kroger.com on Saturday? I can always see mine on Saturday. We are in the SE region and use the Atlanta ad. If you can, then you can decide which will be a better deal for you.

    • jessyca

I just checked my email and I received something from kroger called mymagazine online.. it has coupons that can be loaded onto ur kroger card. it said it was for valued customers. these coupons that i see i havent saw on cellfire or shortcuts. so check ur emails and see if you got it too.

    • taydeb

Can both a cellfire AND shortcuts coupon both work on the same item? How about duplicate items (two PB sweet rolls on cellfire & shortcuts)?

      example:
      Coupon $.40/2 PB sweet rolls
If I buy four sweet rolls will the two coupons on cellfire and the two coupons on shortcuts be honored? Or will cellfire & shortcuts only work once no matter how many sweet rolls I buy? (I know I can still use a paper coupon, too.)

      • jen

Per my experience… only one cellfire coupon or shortcuts coupon can be used. If you buy 4 sweet rolls, 2 of the .40/2 will be redeemed (it may be both from cellfire, or both from sc, or one from sc and one from cf. – sometimes they redeem the ones that will be expiring soonest). If you have a problem with the ecoupon being redeemed, just go to their website and contact them online (I've had nothing but good experiences with that). HTH

    • I just got Sunday’s ad and I have the Cart Buster prices listed on my blog – http://cravingsavings.blogspot.com/2010/02/kroger-cart-buster-deal-starting-228_26.html

It’s basically just a sale. There’s no extra off wyb or anything like that. I should have the entire ad scan up tonight! HTH!

I have a question about printing from coupons.com. At the beginning of each month should you print out what you think you might use or can you just print as you need them through the month? Is there a total limit that they allow to print or just a limit for each person to print? I just started this adventure in the middle of this month and I am wanting to make sure of what to do! Thanks!

    • jnurse24

Ok. So here's a NEW problem that I am encountering in the Raleigh, NC area Kroger's. They have suddenly decided to limit the number of coupons on the same item to 2 per trans.!!! For ex., I can only buy 2 laundry detergents using 2 coupons at a time. This is so ridiculous as now I have to do multiple trans. each trip and it is so hard to keep organized!! Is anyone else having this trouble?

      • NC_ Angel

Which Raleigh Kroger? It is hit and miss with me.

      • Beth

I haven't heard anything about restricting the number of coupons for like items. However, I did see a sign yesterday saying that as of March 1st Kroger will only allow 2 internet coupons per transaction. Boo!

    • Ida

I was at my Kroger in Louisville, KY today and they had a big cart filled with items and a sign that said see customer service for details…. I was with my granddaughter and forgot to stop at the desk… If I can get by the store tomorrow I will get a flyer.

      • CouponNERD

I just checked Kroger.com for weekly ads and next week’s ad is up! Put in your zip code, select a location… and there it is!
        :)

      • jane

Thanks to the woman in atlanta for letting us know that her ad comes out on the computer on saturday. I peeked and hope that they are similar, some pretty good deals on pretty much everything that was on the list of coupons to get printed. Thanks a bunch!

    • SM

Kroger.com always have their new ad up on Saturday if you want a glimpse.

    • Deena

Kroger ad’s for Sunday are up on kroger.com, just type in your zip code.

    • Emily

I'm anxious to hear what this is about! I was in Kroger today and overheard an employee asking the manager if there was a separate ad since the cart load stuff wasn't in the regular ad. He said no, but I guess we'll see.

    • Lucy

The ad is on the Kroger website for those stores that start their sale tomorrow (Sunday 2/28). Unfortunately, it's not that exciting. There's no $ off when you buy multiple items like the Mega Sale or the Daytona sale. There are a couple items that will be free or close to it after double coupons and e-coupons but not enough to make me want to call it a “Cart Buster Deal”

      • toma777

You get $1.00 off when you buy 3 (mix and match) items on the cart buster sale list.

        • Rose

cool! where did you read this? In the store? I tried to read it on the Kroger website ad but the print was too small!

        • teachingthem

This makes me wonder if they are moving to .33 off per item on mega sales rather than .50 off per item. I noticed the last mega sale was $3 back on $10 purchase (instead of the usual $5) and wondered about that. Now this. Love the mega sales, but this is not a step in the right direction unless they're also lowering the items' prices more.

    • laneys

      Its on their website now.

    • msnow

Our Kroger sales run from Wed to Wed where I live so I'm wondering if this will start tommorrow for you guys whose sales run from Sun to Sun. If so will someone post what is actually on sale? I love this site!! Although there are some slight price differences it sure helps me plan. I have a folder FULL of Q's I haven't cut yet….I'm going to get started getting my binder ready for this week.

    • Barbara
