What is the Mega event? Mega 10?? Did Kroger put out a sale paper with no prices? Half of the list doesnt have the price. Doesnt look like a very good week.

      • Kristan

You can actually go to kroger.com and look directly at the ad and see the prices. That’s what I’m doing right now… hope this helps :-)

      • sarahcas

You get $3 off when you buy 10 and then apparently get a $3 coupon for your next purchase. I think the reason a lot of items don't have a price is that Kroger put out a list of participating items earlier in the week and a lot of those aren't in the weekly ad so Jenny doesn't have the price for those items.

      • Anonymous

Maria, you need to go back and check the list now that the prices are up for the sale. This sale is looking really, really good especially if you can use the e-coupons with the manu. coupons and also getting the 3.00 catalina for every ten. I’ve already mapped out my list and a lot of the stuff is looking free, almost free and moneymakers. I’m thinking this sale is one step up over the last mega event. I got 130 items and paid 31.43 which averages out to .24 an item.

      • Anonymous

The 130 items were from the last mega event, not this one.

    • Marystreit

Are the prices after the 3$ off or before? Thanks

      • Mel

It states that prices are after the instant savings, but the cool thing this time is you get an additional $3 back to use the next time (for every 10 participating items), so it's almost like getting another $.30 off each participating item.

    • Mandasparkle

The coupon for the Odwalla product doesn't seem to be loading for me.

      • Amy J.

I'm having the same problem…….all it says is retrieving coupon, this process may take a few moments, we thank you for your patience……
it's been saying that for over 5 minutes now………yikes!

    • Leah

The first Refrigerator/Frozen sale item (Kroger cheese) and the coupon (Kraft cheese) don't match up.

    • Thestarkeys

Jenny – is there a way to contact you or have you contact me directly? I'm a stay at home mom of two who has a business idea and wanted to talk to you about it….thank you!

Yeah…man that happened to me, too :( I was really wanting that coupon

      • kenzbug

        Same here..

    • Lori

It is difficult to know if some of these are a good deal without the prices on them. Does anyone know if the prices will be added later?

      • kenzbug

My zip code has the ad up at kroger.com, that’s where I am finding my prices

      • So far the only prices we have are the ones in the weekly ad, but I'll walk the store Sunday night and update the list with sizes and prices.

    • Sue

I'm bored of all the processed stuff and really don't want to buy any more of it (stockpile is big enough),but am happy to see some relatively decent prices on produce this week.

      • ireneY

I agree! The only thing that may be interesting are the non-food items like O-cel-o sponges or aluminum foil, depending on price. I am starting the “Clean” diet soon and Almond Breeze is the only thing I could use.

      • Lgeorge614

Yes, I agree too. There's not much here as far as the mega sale goes to get me very excited. I really want to have a diet that focuses on fresh, unprocessed food.

    • Carman

Hey does anyone know how to get the Kroger home mailer?
      Thanks!

      • Relaxwithdiane

I would love to know the answer to this too!!

        • Kristan

          Me, too :-)

      • They are sent based on your area and shopping habits. There are two tricks I recommend:

        1. If you are long time shopper get a new Kroger card so that they will possibly see you as a new customer that needs to be pursued.

        2. Go to Kroger.com and set up a “My Kroger” account giving yor address and any other info they ask for (it's free)

        • Jennifer

I emailed Kroger customer service online about 4 – 6 weeks ago, asking them to add me to any mailing lists. I basically just said I would to shop more at Kroger and Kroger coupons would definitely get me in the store more. I started receiving mailers last week. I don't know if it was the email or not, but it might work.

      • Theresalynn4026

I started getting mine about 4 months ago. This is what I did. I sent them an email and let them know how much I love shopping at there store. Which I do. Plus how helpful and kind there employee's are. Then I mentioned that I noticed that some other customers in the check out line had some different coupons than I had. They said that they got them in the mail. Then just ask them if they could put you one the mail list. Hope this helps.

      • Jbuttimer

by the home mailer do you mean the store coupons that Kroger mails out about every 3 months that are targeted to my purchases? I LOVE those. I always get at least 2 free coupons, usually bacon, ice cream and the Fiber one bars. All of the rest seem to be a mix of things I buy often and things I've bought only once or twice.

      • Mel

I actually called them and asked them that because I used to get them all the time… until I started couponing. The lady told me that you had to spend $300 a month, I think it was, for like 4 months in a row. Well, that made perfect sense because since I started couponing, I don't spend that much there. She looked at my account and said I was really close and what do you know… the next month I started getting coupons in the mail again.

      • Debee2000

I think what Carman is asking is the Kroger Home mailer that all get with the same coupons. I just got one yesterday for Daytona 500(can't remember name of it right now). My suggestion is check your settings on your account with them to see if you stopped any mailings.

      • Bee

I get them quarterly and they really do seem to be based on whether you spend consistently there. However, my spending totals are always tracked BEFORE coupons, so it appears as if I spend more than I do.

The ones that are the most useful are the ones you get based on what you have purchased in the past. There are also various other mailers that promote specific meals, departments, etc. They are nice, but it doesn't seem the coupon values are all that high.

I got free Doritos this time which is funny because I really do not purchase that many Doritos, maybe a bag every two months. The other coupons seem to reflect items I get all the time.

    • Mollieirene

My coupon for “TORNADOS” is a B1G1 free coupon> Expires on the 17th.
I had my mother and brother print them for me, so I have 3. If they didn't expire so soon I would mail them and share with those of you who wanted them. Maybe next time. :(

      • Debee2000

My Kroger will not take INTERNET B1G1 Free coupons of any sort. I am in SC. And there are a lot of others that have that same problem. Good Luck using them.

        • Coupon Assassin

My Kroger takes them ALL THE TIME! AND, I also use FREE printed coupons all the time too without troubles. Just depends on the store.
          Bardstown, KY {my Kroger ROCKS}

          • Coupon Assassin

I meant to say that I use FREE PRODUCT printable coupons all the time. I've never had an issue with my Kroger accepting ANY coupon. And if it doesn't ring up right, they always adjust it for me. They're wonderful.

        • Braylynnis

I ran into this problem last week for the 1st time. I went home and pulled up Krogers policy and it states “B1G1 coupons are acceptable” I calle dthe store manager and reported the previous issue I had and he said they absolutely accept them and he would make his cashiers aware. Take a copy of their policy with you next time

        • Braylynnis

Does anyone know if Kroger will double the printable coupon? I have one for .40 and it doesn't state NOT to double.

      • Ginger

        My Kroger does.

      • Leigh

        My Kroger still doubles it.

      • Ladydodge9x

all our Krogers double in Ga.

      • Jbuttimer

I've got some coupons that say “Do not double” Do they get doubled anyway at Kroger? How can they tell? it's hard to see.

        • Mel

It depends on the cashier. They have to press an extra button in order to make it NOT double. I have one cashier that I avoid like the plague. She will lay out all my coupons on her conveyor belt thing and search out the ones that say do not double. All the other cashiers just ring them through and let them do their thing.

      • Chandashel

Look at the barcode on the coupon. If the number before the barcode is a “5”, then the coupon will double, even if it says “do not double”.

      • jhoran

You can disregard the “do not double”. Kroger doubles up to 0.50 and triples up to 0.35 as a bonus savings for their customers…. has nothing to do with the manufacturer.

        • itismedia

Wow! I wish mine tripled! I have never been to one that does. You're lucky! =+)

      • Craig Robinson

Our Kroger does. I have never had a problem. Elizabethtown, KY

    • kenzbug

Has anyone got a working zip code for the Purex fabric softener?

      • Ltriplett

    • Leigh

I finally got my first set of coupons in the mail from Kroger. The ones they send based on your shopping. They say MQ on them. So, can I pair them with a MQ out of the paper? I see people talk about pairing a store q with a mq but I never know what store q's they are referring to. Thanks

      • Mel

Store coupons will usually say “store coupon” at the top. My understanding is that if the bar code starts with a “5”, it's a manufacturers coupon and those cannot be stacked with other manufacturer's coupons from the paper. However, you could take your Kroger coupons and use them other places (sometimes there's a little Kroger logo at the bottom that I just cut off if it doesn't affect the rest of the coupon.)

        • Leigh

          Thanks Mel.

    • Katkoupon

I haven't seen this time of promotion before, is it fair to say that an item costing $0.69 after the instant promotion is “like” getting it for $0.39 with the $3 coupon off next trip…sort of like the drug store deals? Just curious if anyone else is looking at it this way. Also, you think we could roll these coupons, say if I did 2 or 3 transactions?

      • Mel

Yes! I was thinking the same thing–the prices are really better than they look. This is a new one to me, too. You could certainly roll them if you wanted, although I figure I'll just spend them the next time–either way it spends the same.

        • Katkoupon

          Thanks, Mel!

      • Debee2000

I do know that that Jenny says in the opening statements that the prices are after the instant $3 off. So you question about .69 really .39 is incorrect. The price after the savings is the .69. I am not sure about the rolling thing but it may work, we have too few checkouts open and long lines, I would hate to roll mine.

        • Mel

Right. I think she understands that it's not like you're really paying $.39, but if you pay $.69 and someone gives you another $.30 back, it's kind of like that in a way. It's kind of like saying that when you buy something for $5 and get $5 back in ECBs it's free. Technically, it's not free, but you didn't end up paying for it in the long run. Know what I mean?

      • jhoran

I agree with you ….. that's just what I'm thinking too. Its just a mind game … making you believe that you're actually getting an even greater deal, when all they've really done is given you .30 off each ten items in the form of a catalina. Great marketing strategy!!!!

    • Ashley

I am a newbie, and am wondering if ecoupons stack? for instance can i load the same coupon from cellfire, kroger, P&G, and shortcut for a single item, plus any clipped coupons I may have? This seems like it would be far to good to be true.

      • Kristan

You can stack an ecoupon with a paper one, but you only get one ecoupon per item.

        • Ashley

          thank you!

      • Craig Robnson

You can use both the e-coupon and clip coupons for the same item. Some items you can get for nothing if you really work the system and buy when they are on sale. It takes some time to learn how to use it all but you are well on your way.

        • Kim Bowers

Kroger's web site says their ecoupons cannot be combined with paper coupons.

    • Esa

Do e-coupons double if they are .50 or less??

      • Relaxwithdiane

no they are only for the face value and you can only use it once!

      • Mel

        Nope.

    • DTROLEN

the second item listed here has a $1 off coupon for the brownies thats printable but when i print it its a sheet of several “publix” coupons and there is no barcodes. HELP!!

      • Sandy

I think this coupon was put into the coupon database as a Manufacturer coupon when it's actually a store coupon. Probably, an oversight– unfortunately, you can't use it at Kroger.

    • Guest

Jenny, I'm not sure if my weekly ad is different than yours but mine has the prices for the items you don't have prices for. And then you have prices for some items my ad don't show. So, if someone needs a price, try to view the weekly ad for zip code 31061.

    • Minkyatee

Just wanted to give a heads up. I was going through all my inserts this morning and I found a 1.00 off 2 coupon for Hillshire Farms Sausages. They are on the 4 day sale for 1.99. It's in the 1/23 Red Plum. I also found a .60 off 3 Snack Packs in the 1/02 Smart Source. Snack Packs are on sale for 1.00. My family loves these and every little bit saved helps! LOL!

    • Minkyatee

There is a Kroger Flyer hiding in todays paper with some good coupons. 1.00 off 2 Welches juices etc… I almost missed it :)

    • Donna0130

Sorry but this will be my first mega event shopping trip. There is not a Kroger near me but I am going to see my son today and he has one by his house. The $1.00 off coupon for the brownie mix is a Publix coupon with no barcode. Will Kroger take that? Also do I buy $10.00 worth per transaction and then use my $3.00 off my next transaction like I do when I go to Rite Aid? I pray someone answers me before I leave for church. Thank you all.

      • Minkyatee

Just buy your 10 items and they will take 3.00 off this order. I guess they are printing a 3.00 Catalina at checkout. Kroger wont take any coupons except manufacturer coupons and their own. If it doesn't say Manu on top, and there is no barcode it wont be accepted. I hope this helps, and I got you before you left for church. :))

        • Donna0130

You did catch before I left and you are awesome. Thank you so much.

    • Nichole_michele

where in the store are the Amy Chuns noodle/soup bowls?

      • Rgbarron01

Organic drygoods section in Southern Indiana stores.

    • I do not get to shop Kroger often, but am going to be close to one today. I have little time to prepare for this, and not knowing prices is a real handicap. Could someone tell me if they will accept both a Kroger ecoupon (manufacturer”s) and a cellfire or shortcuts coupon. Also, if the Kroger ecoupon is accepted, will it be doubled?

      • mel

I only think they will take one coupon and I have not seen an ecoupon double. :)

      • mel

        One ecoupon I meant

      • Dholler

The kroger I shop at does take both but does not double the ecoupon.

      • itismedia

E-coupons are not doubled and it varies from store to store as to whether or not they will accept a paper and an electronic coupon for the same item.

    • Bobobear3

Hopefully this isn't a stupid question – many times at my Kroger they are out of an item that I needed to make my 10 (or whatever the mega deal is at the time). When I have gotten a raincheck and used it later I have been told I have to buy 10 to get it at the mega price. The problem is I usually don't want 10 of that item…maybe I only wanted 2 and if they had it in stock it would have fit into my mega deal originally. Anyone else have this issue and any suggestions to work with it? Of course it seems to be an item I have a great coupon for so I really want to use it. I know there are lots of southern savers in my area so that might be why we are out – others have the same idea as me! Thanks for the help

      • Sdavisva

I read a post a week or so ago that one person had a great experience with getting a raincheck for the mega deal. The customer service rep wrote up several different rainchecks all for mega items and stapled them all together. She said she just had to buy 10 total of any on the raincheck.

I'm sure it's a YMMV situation. But I would certainly ask at your Kroger and see what they will do.

    • tara

You didnt add the $3 catalina……when you buy 10 items you save .30 instantly but you also get a $3 catalina good on your next purchase when you buy 10…so you actually save $.60 each item in the end….its on the circular.

      • Amy

The $3 off is for your next purchase. It is not saving you money now, the savings is on a future purchase. You still have to give them the OOP cash and that doesn’t include the extra .30 off. If she listed it now as an extra .30 off then she would not list it as a future savings. It really depends on how you want to do it, but I prefer to count my saving when I actually get it, which would be on the future purchase.

    • Amy J.

For the Odwalla coupon…..looks like there's a problem with allyou(dot)com/coupons site…….coupon never printed after 15 mins……hopefully once it's up and running properly, it will print for me, since i tried it twice already…..fingers crossed.

    • Phillis

This may not be new to many, but it was to me today. I had a coupon for .50 off and it did not double when scanned. I used self checkout. Normally they will still double even if it says DND, not today at Kroger! Ouch! Guess I better start reading my coupons before going to Kroger! Just another reason why I have almost stopped shopping there. He He…

    • Lexi0200

How do I use the $25 in free groceries on a transferred prescribtion?? Does it happen automatically or do I have to tell them?

      • itismedia

Take the coupon to the pharmacy and when they ring you up they load it onto your Kroger card. When checking out, if your total is less than 25.00 it will ask you if you want to use it. If it is over 25.00 it will come off automatically. At least this has been my experience. HTH

      • 2save$

Your cashier will offer the $25 coupon/discount to you when you check out. But beware, because I didn't realize it had to all be used in one transaction. When I went today, the cashier asked if I wanted to use it on my $14 order. I asked if the remainder wold carry over to my next order, and she said NO! It would be lost :-( That's a crazy concept. I'm wondering if the cashier was correct or not.

        • Serattcoupons

I thought it all had to be used at once, too, but that was not the case the last two times I went to Kroger. I had a $20 pharmacy credit and only bought $5 worth of produce. Cashier did not ask me if I wanted to use it and when I looked at my receipt, I had a balance of $15 which I used the next time I went in.

        • CouponNERD

Unless something has changed in the last month, I believe that the cashier was wrong. I recently got a $100 pharmacy reward for bringing in a total of 5 prescriptions. I used $2 right away for some over the counter medicine, then two more transactions. It was GREAT! (and over as of Feb 18)

    • Lucy

    • momof3

I LOVE that you wrote “Horrible price” for the Coke 12 packs…They're cheaper than that at the gas stations around here! ARGH!

    • smartin900

Do you get a $3 Catalina for EVERY 10 Mega Items you buy, or do you only get it one time? For example, if I purchase 20 Mega Items, would I save $6 off of my current total and get 2 x $3 Catalina coupons for next time?

      • Lucy

You get one Catalina for each 10 Mega items purchased. So if you purchased 20 Mega items, you'd receive two $3 Catalinas.

However, if you wanted to turn around and use both of those $3 Catalinas in your next purchase, the register would beep on the second one — it will only accept one Catalina as payment per transaction. So, you might want to plan accordingly. ;-)

        • smartin900

          Thank you!

    • Caseybraddy

Am I the only person who thinks that a $2.39 price for the Totino's Party Pizza is a little insane? Even our Wal-mart has these for $1.25 typically. At Kroger I have always been able to get those 10 for $10 without a coupon.

      • Kristan

That IS insane, but where did you see that price? All I see is 95 cents after Mega savings. Am I missing something?

        • Caseybraddy

That's the price in our paper here in Nashville. I thought it was a little off, but I checked and it is the same on the Kroger website.

          • Kristan

That is weird!! I'm in Knoxville and it's $.95
2.39 is terrible!! You can definitely do better than that :-)

            • Same here it is $0.95

            • DebTN

I'm in southern middle TN. Kroger ad here has totino party pizza $2.39 after mega discount.

            • Bee

I completely do not understand the discrepancy. I don’t know of but one product called “Totino Party Pizza” and have never seen them as high as $2.39.

              Odd.

            • Lawilson4368

My Kroger add says they are on sale for .70 cents BEFORE coupons! I'm getting more confused!

      • Lucy

It might be a typo in the ad — the price is insane. For once my area actually had a decent price listed ($1.00 before Mega discount) so it turned them into a MM with the right coupons. You might check the store for the actual price and take your coupons just in case the price is lower than advertised.

      • tk

Totino's pizza was .99 and included on the mega-event at my Kroger in Kentucky today. I think the Tony's pizza is 2.39.

    • guest

On the Dannon Fit and Light Yogurt, e coupons don't double right? Making the yogurt $1.38 not $.88 if I am correct.

    • Kieth

Under oreo's there is a printable coupon for $1 off nabisco cookies WYB gallon of milk. The link doesn't work. Does anyone know of the link or another one?

    • Leanne

How do I know if my Kroger is participating? The weekly ad did not mention this mega event.

      • Jen

When does your ad start? Mine starts Wednesday, so these sales won't be at my store until then.

        • Leanne

The ad is for Feb 9-Feb 15.

          • Jen

That's how mine is. You will most likely just have to wait until Wednesday for this sale to start. Gives you a few “prep” days!

            • Leanne

Good deal, thanks for the info.

      • leanne, visit your customer care desk and ask them. They can also give you a list of all participating items. Or call ahead of time.

    • Amygracesmom

Does anyone know if the 100% Juice Capri Suns are included in the sale for $1.85?

      • Twoods117

Yes, tehr are. I went there today and say the tag on them. I bought the Roaring Waters bc it has less sugar. Just a thought. Good luck on your shopping!

        • Amygracesmom

Thanks so much! Often they are not included. Thanks for your help!

    • AshATL

I hate my Kroger. I never learn. I have a Kroger practically across the street from me, but I will have to start finding another one to commute to, since the convenience is not worth the spike in my blood pressure.

So, last night I noticed a bunch of hair care items on clearance. I wrote down the brands and prices then went home to round up corresponding coupons. This morning I head over to Kroger with a fist full of Dove, John Freida, and Suave Professionals coupons. I put 11 items in my cart, and as I'm unloading, the cashier takes one look at my fist full of coupons and and proclaims “you can't use coupons on clearance items.” I'm a little taken aback because I know of NO store with such a policy. I ask if she's sure, since the store will still get back the full face value of the coupon plus the processing fee. She repeats her earlier assertion. I smile sweetly and ask her to fetch a manager to confirm the alleged policy. The manager eventually comes over, all the while a huge line is forming behind me. The manager tells me that what the cashier REALLY said was that the coupons cannot exceed the price of the item, “we're not going to pay you.” Fine, I tell her, it was not my intent to do so; however, I pointed out, the cashier hadn't even rung me up yet, otherwise it would have become apparent that only one coupon exceeded the price of the item, by a penny, and that I would be happy to accept a downward adjustment, and she should be sure to make a note on the coupon so that Kroger didn't get a penny it didn't deserve, either. Well, when all was said and done, I guess she couldn't figure out how to adjust the coupon, because she took $2 off for my $1.99 John Freida styler. I paid $2.93 for 11 hair items

So, the moral of the story is that there are good deals to be had in the hair care aisle at Kroger, but beware of cashiers just pulling coupon policies out of thin air.

P.S. I know this was not a really terrible experience overall and is par for the course when it comes to couponing, and is a small price to pay for all the deals we get, and I wasn't as snarky as I came off in this comment, but I have loathed the Kroger on Howell Mill in Atlanta since far before I started couponing, and this is just one more example of how poorly the employees are trained. Ugh.

      • tracy

Sorry about your experience. Everyone hates the “line build up”. I only buy sale items at Kroger since they are generally higher priced. If they quit doubling coupons, I will never return. Coupons should be accepted on clearance items, but I have read a lot of comments about how stores are beginning to deny them.
I actually had a cashier pull items out of my bags to verify that I had purchased them at Kroger. Talk about embarrassing. This was several years ago before the cash registers checked items.

        • AshATL

In addition to not being very consistent with the coupon policies, I just feel like the customer service at mine is totally lacking. The cashiers will talk on cell phones, and a few days I watched as a cashier totally disrespected another customer. I worked in retail at Kroger and Target for years, and I cannot fathom why people think that they are entitled to a job and that customers are just an obstacle. I really need to just avoid that place so I don't ever have to complain again.

          • Shinne6

This sounds like my walmart experience in Missouri. Cashiers are uneducated in coupon use and customer service!! I am hoping that the managers will help resolve it. My Kroger however (Dillons in Mo) is WONDERFUL!!! Always helpful, always glad to see me save. I love them~~

      • Amanda

that stinks, but i'm reading kroger's policy online and it says you can't use coupons on “Manager's Special” items, aka clearance items. They also won't let you use them if the value of the coupon is more than 75% of the item's value (eg. you can't use a $2 off coupon on an item that is $2.25). i miss being close to a publix!

        • AshATL

Ha! Well, that just goes to show that my Kroger is all messed up! I do think it's silly not to take a coupon on a clearance item. If you think about it, the point of clearancing an item is to make room for more stuff on the shelves that will be sold at full price, and a coupon will be reimbursed with a processing fee, so why not take the coupon?

          • Jenn

I am so sorry you have this kind of trouble with your Kroger. My Kroger in Aiken, S.C. is wonderful. And as for the clearance items, I bought 5 bottles of Gillette men's body wash that was on clearance for 2.50 each and used one 2.00/1 e-coupon and 5 2.00/1 paper coupons. I got all 5 bottles for .50! At the end my catalina coupons did not print out because the cashier forgot to put paper in his catalina machine. I bought 7 mega event deals so I went to the customer service desk and she gladly put $21.00 on a gift card for me to use when I came back in! My Publix behaves like your Kroger about my coupons so I drive about 15 miles out of the way to go to a friendlier Publix. But I am lucky to have a great Kroger and I hope you can find a better one!

            • Lisa

Well I am happy to hear someone has a good experience at the Aiken Kroger. I rarely have a pleasant experience in that store. I stopped going there because every other cashier goes by a different set of rules and the managers don't even know what their policies are half the time. (Twice have been told by cashiers they don't take internet coupons at all, one manager agreed with cashier, but when called corporate true manager called and said they were both incorrect. Then I had one cashier tell me that they would not accept internet coupons that didn't have the dot type bar code in the upper right corner of the coupon (was trying to use honest tea and balance bar coupon for past mega sale). Customer service manager agreed, but when called corporate once a gain manager said they were both wrong. One cashier so obviously rude because I was using coupons I made complaint to manager in person and he acted as if he could care less. NEVER been treated like that in a grocery store before. I was really taken back. Hassle every other time I go in there.) Their product department is horrible. Twice I started grocery shopping only to put my cart back and drive down to Publix because their produce looked so bad. No sale is worth going into that store. Customer service and overall appearance/experience is not worth it.

          • The manager explained it to you correctly Ash ATL. Kroger will not allow “money makers” as some people call them. So if your coupon is for $2, and your item has been marked down to $1.50, your coupon will only be worth $1.50 and you get the item for free. Sounds pretty fair for all the complaining on their policy. Each store's manager has the final say on coupons. Also keep in mind that a manufacturer will only honor so many online printed out coupons per store, which is why Kroger limits how many you can use per item. Seems pretty fair for a grocery store to have a regular every day policy of doubling coupons up to a certain amount considering they are the ones taking the loss. Yes Kroger is a corporation and makes money, but that money and these policies are why your prices for necessities are not even more expensive. It is a business after all and you could imagine a world with no coupons and paying full price. When imagining that, I would take the inconvience of a manager having to clarify the coupon policy to me. Like you said, you walked out with 11 items for less than $3. Bottom line, a manager has the right to reject any coupon from any customer for any reason. They can ask you to leave the store if you do not accept that. How we act towards these every day people who happen to be managers can make all the difference.

      • Techie Ted

I have only had one problem every at the k roger on Howell Mill. I talked to the manager and he took care of it. Never had a problem since. Mr. Riles I believe was his name. Also, just take bellemeade to northside. Take a left on Deering and follow it right into the k roger on Peachtree. It is only about 2 miles from there. It is a good store as well but the hair care, deodorants, and dental stuff is all up stairs.

        • AshATL

Thanks, Ted. I forget that that Kroger is there. Maybe I'll give it a whirl. The Borders in that shopping center is also going out of business, so maybe I'll hit that up on the way for some good book deals!

          • StephanieATL

This isn't about using coupons at that store on Howell Mill. They are just unprofessional. I was ordering several cookie baskets over the phone and instead of puttting me 'on hold' the two women in the bakery proceeded to have a verbal spat while I could overhear. They were so loud I had to pull the phone away from my ear. Glad I don't HAVE to go to that Kroger.

    • Beth

This isn't a Kroger question, but I don't know where else to ask it. I tried posting it on Facebook, but it disappears every time I post it. I'm new to couponing and I have two questions: (1) If I'm going to start with a few stores, which stores would you recomment and (2) It seems like you have to collect coupons for a while to save a lot of money. Where do I starting collecting coupons except for the Sunday paper?

      • AshATL

Beth, it depends on what stores are in your area. My faves are Publix and Rite Aid, mostly because they are close and Publix accepts competitor coupons and has awesome BOGO deals. Neither store has crazy rules like Walgreens (I have no patience for all of Wag's rules, so I only make the trek when there is something, like this week's Mitchum deodorant deal, since it is the only brand my husband will let touch his sacred underarms!). I would not recommend going overboard on the drugstores. If you're juggling too many reward vouchers you're likely to accidentally let some expire.

        • Chiefsangeleyes

Can I recommend something? My publix accepts the Reward vouchers …I just buy what's a great deal or free at the drug stores and use the rewards at Publix on my groceries:)

          • AshATL

I've wondered if mine would accept the RRs, Ups, etc., but I haven't asked because I almost feel bad taking those to Publix. I don't know why it would be any different than a Target coupon, though. Maybe I'll call customer service this week. I'm just afraid Publix will decide the couponing is getting out of hand and get more restrictive…

          • jenr

I used to do that here in nashville, but Publix cut off my RR :( said it had to be a grocery store – not a drug store.

            • Serattcoupons

My Publix took the Walgreens RR as a regular manufacturer coupon and not as a competitor coupon. They do not regularly take Walgreen's store coupons.

          • Kris

Decatur, AL Publix accepted the Rewards up until about two weeks ago. They said the reimbursement went back to the store who's logo was on the catalina. I've been meaning to call Catalina Marketing to verify. It was a great deal while it worked! :-)

        • AshATL

Oh, and for the second question, I just started in October and just printed coupons online and built up a collection of Sunday inserts buy getting a paper delivered and buying extra copies according to how many coupons I use were in the paper. Kroger (ugh) has 2 Sunday paper bundles for $3 on Sundays, or you can use those rewards vouchers from drug stores to buy extra papers. Just be sure to flip through the papers at the store to be sure you're getting all the inserts, as sometimes they'll be missing. A simpler but a tiny bit more pricey route is to buy inserts online from a coupon clipping service or ebay. I hate wasting all those newspapers, even though I take the newsprint to the local humane society for the puppy pens and recycle the rest, so if there is a really awesome insert, or maybe I didn;t get out to the stores to buy extras, I'll buy online. You could build up a collection quickly that way. Other people buy individual coupons from services or ebay. It took me about 4 months to have a collection of pretty much everything out there. Also, check the area around your stores' entrance. Publix puts out additional coupon books, and sign up online for the Greenwise and Family magazine for free through Publix for more coupons.

          • Nadkins

Our local paper offers the coupons in the Sunday paper for .98 during the week. If I need extras, I just go by the newspaper office and pick up what I need. You may want to call and ask if they do that in your area…or if they will consider it.

    • Mandi

So I was a bit disappointed that my $3 catalina didn't work for my second transaction this morning. I planned to use the $3 for my bread and milk and it beeped. I only had one $3 I was trying to use too. The cashier said it was because I had to use it on another day… The reward states on your next shopping order. Did anyone else have any problems or was it just my store?

      • tracy

Same thing here in Kentucky. I got 3 “$3 off next order” coupons with my first transaction. I tried to use all three on my next transaction but the register beeped. Cashier said I could only use one ” $3 off next order”.

        • Yall have to sometimes give the system at least an hour to recognize the barcodes. Modern technology.

    • Chiefsangeleyes

Ok so I can do multiple sets of the buy 10 and get the instant $3 off for each set…but DOES THE $3 printed for next order coupon print for each set too? Or just once?

      • tracy

I did 3 sets of ten items today. I received three “$3 off your next order' coupons. But on my next transaction, the register beeped when I tried to use all 3 coupons. Apparently you can only use one “$3 off next order” coupon per transaction.

        • Amanda

thanks so much for sharing this!

        • Lucy

The bar code on the Catalina begins with a “1” so it's considered a store coupon (It also specifically states “Store Coupon” on the Catalina.) Unfortunately, the register will only accept one of those store coupons as payment per transaction.

It's best to plan your transactions so that you pay with only one of the Daytona $3 Catalinas plus whatever other coupons/Catalinas/payment methods that you have.

        • Sdavisva

Thank you for letting us know! Do they expire in two weeks like most 'oyno' catalinas?

        • Jenndennmk

I learned this when I tried to use mine today :( I did go to the service desk, and they gave me the cash for them since it doesn't state in the ad or on the coupon that you can only use one. I asked if I just needed to plan on using one at a time next time, and she said it should work. I have a feeling after reading other comments, that I just need to break up my orders.

    • Lawilson4368

OK! I have a couple of issues with this week's ad. 1) Totino's Pizza and Pizza Rolls are on sale for .70 cents before coupons making it even cheaper than it says on here 2) The Tornados “printable coupon” was a bust for me. Anybody know anything different?

      • Tony D.

The Tornados coupon was for their products that come in a bag. The ones that were on sale were in a box. I noticed the same thing…

    • Barretjl

Does anyone know a zip code for the Purex Crystals and Huggies Wipes?

    • Ktseverino

does anyone knnow where to get the maxwell house product booklet?

      • itismedia

I got one when I bought one of the BIG canisters of coffee a month or so ago.

      • Nanadebu

Yes I would like to know also, where is Maxwell House produsct booklet is located also.

    • Jessica

Don't know if it was posted here already… but if you got a Boxtops e-mail offer recently for a $10 gift card when you buy 10 participating boxtops products (I think it is only available to those who received the e-mail) it goes really well with this sale. I got 4 boxes of Cheerios, 4 boxes of Totinos pizza rolls and 2 cans of Grands biscuits for about $8.50 after coupons, got the $3 cat and will send in the receipt for the Boxtops promotion, so I'm earning about $5. :)

      • sarahcas

Thank you for posting this! I got that email a few days ago and deleted it without even thinking about it but was able to get it out of my “trash.”

      • Ashley

i'm having problems printing the form…any suggestions?

    • Jer 1.5

Okay today is my first time doing this. I've been collecting for about a month and got paid for this month so here goes. My question is, will I ever figure it out? I have a master's degree so I aint that bad at learning but this is complicated.

      • Kristan

Yes, you will figure it out, if you stick with it, I promise. It is VERY overwhelming at first. I just started it in September and now it's second nature to me. I collected coupons for about a month, too, before I did my first trip. You'll get the hang of it…and I love that you said 'ain't' :-)
Have you watched Jenny's videos? That helped me so much. In fact, I dont' know if I would know what I know if it wasn't for those videos. Good luck!!

      • gracie1

Jer, I agree it is overwhelming to begin. so I started off small, making up several great deals and going to the store and buying them. Then I'd go home and reconsider the deals and see if I wanted to go back. So at first I was running to the store several times over the week, until it was less overwhelming ;)

      • itismedia

        Jer,
You will feel overwhelmed for a few weeks, but do not give up! =+) Think about it as a second job. You would not quit the first couple of times you were trying to do something new would you? Shopping sales with coupons puts tons of money in our pockets, just like a part time job would.
It can get frustrating when you do not have a coupon (or several) at first, but within a couple of months you will have a stockpile and a ton of coupons!
Best advice I can give you is PICK ONE STORE TO START and watch Jenny's videos. Once you get the hang of things at the grocery store either add a second store (I am lucky to have a Publix and Kroger that are very close together) OR add a drug store.
Go slow. I think this is where most people frustration comes from. It is exciting and new and every store has tons of great deals. You're learning something new, no sense in doing it times three when just starting. You will be there soon enough!
I have been doing this about 10 years and I cannot remember what it was like not to. I do remember that I started out wanting to save ANYTHING and now I average 65-75% and we eat well. I do not buy packaged meals, etc…My point is other than giving up brand loyalty (on most things) you donot have to change the way you eat. A lot of people will tell you that the coupons are all for “JUNK” and I have a coupon organizer full of coupons that will disagree with that. =+)
Ask questions and start small and above all, HAVE FUN!

    • Amanda

Hey there, I see on here that it says Kroger will accept the eCoupons on top of paper coupons, but online I see the policy says:
“Can I use paper coupons as well as digital coupons on the same item?
Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.”
Does anyone have experience combining these? Does it work consistently for you?

      • AshATL

They say it doesn't work, but today I noticed that the register took off a Dove ecoupon I had loaded, then it took 3 manufacturer coupons, too. I guess it depends on your store. I'd maybe try this out with one item that you don't mind having without the ecoupon. My view is that I'm pleasantly surprised when I see my receipt and notice the extra coupon I loaded 3 weeks ago and forgot about, but I never count on them.

      • It's all about trial and error with your store. My store accepts the e-coupons and paper coupons but some say that theirs do not. I believe I heard something about “newer” Krogers not accepting them but mine does and they are probably only a year or so old.

I shop the Richmond Hill, GA location and every single time it has taken off the e-coupon and paper coupon if I have both. In fact, I plan my list accordingly and look for digital coupons that are duplicates of paper coupons now.

        • itismedia

Lisa, just an FYI – it works in Savannah at the Sav. Mall and 17 stores too (I am not sure about the others). Just in case you are over here and decide to shop. =+)

          • Awesome! Thanks for that info! I was wondering about those stores. I go to the one in Richmond Hill because I work in Richmond Hill but I live in Ellabell so the 17 (Berwick) store is probably closer if I need to make a run from home.

    • Trishapen

money maker on the Mentos 2 for $1.00 and use the .50 cents off 1 which will double make .50 cents.
Also on the Schick razor #5 is $5.99 website Kroger E coupons there is a $4.00 off the schick razor blade and use a $2.00 manuf Coupon equals free

      • Sorry….I clicked reply to the wrong thread…this one was supposed to be below.

    • Jenn

Had my best Kroger tonight! Total before coupons and Mega savings $179.86. Total oop $63.46! So excited! And I got 5 bottles of men's Gillette body wash and paid .50 for all 5! Thank you Jenny for everything you do!!!

      • Britti

How much was the men's Gillette body wash? I've got a coupon for $2 off.

      • Kliver5150

Can you tell me the deal on the Gillette body wash? I didnt see it…thanks!

    • Wren

I live in Richmond Virginia and the Kroger stores I shop at (Carytown and Willow Lawn) never double any of my coupons. Do I need to ask?

      • itismedia

You shouldn't need to ask. The computer (cash register) should do it automatically. When you are looking at your receipt, in the coupon section it should appear as something like coupon and then “bonus coupon” under it (if it is .50 or less). I am sorry, I just updated my savings chart and threw out all of my receipts so I am not looking at one right now.
        If you do not see,
        Coupon .50
        Bonus Coupon .50
(or something similar) repeated for each coupon, ask your store why they do not double. They should….
HTH and sorry if this makes absolutely no sense! =+)

        • Wren

No, it makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to explain that to me! :)

          • Scrapsmart

I live in Short Pump VA and our kroger doubles – come on over :)

    • Mickiegibbs

Someone may have already pointed it out, but the January All You has a B4G1 on the Chef Boyardee Canned Pasta. It was in a perforated tear-out insert.

    • gracie1

My Kroger had a tearpad next to the Chef Boyardee for buy 4, get a 4 pack of Hunts Snack Pack Pudding free. I had three coupons for 35/3 for the Chef Boyardee, so I bought 9 cans at 39 cents each and got 2 snackpacks free.

    • Jessicaovahere

Does anyone from Paducah, Ky know if any of the krogers accept e coupons with manufacture coupon to use together on the same item? Some people told me it has worked and on the website says it doesn't just wondering if someone on here knows for sure before i try it?

      • Withwings4031

I have had it work and I have also had it not work. I think it just depends on if the computer “sees” the ecoupon. I have had them not work on items that I didn't have a paper coupon for.

        • Bee

I agree. The only problems I have had with e-coupons not coming off is on random items that I didn't even bring a paper coupon for.

But it is very rare that they don't work.

          • Shinne6

Same thing happens to me at my store in Missouri

      • Mandy

Hey!!I I shop at the Paducah store. Mine always come off when I use an ecoupon and paper coupon. I always have them scan my card first. I also do self checkout when I can.

      • Jennifer

I sometimes go to the store in Paducah, and sometimes Murray. I have never had a problem at Paducah, they seem really nice and excited to see how much I save, however;…recently I have had LOTS of problems at Murray, not scanning in all my coupons, my ecoupons not coming off, AND…there is one particular lady at Murray who thinks it is her duty to stop all couponing. She will actually print your receipt, then go through all the lines that have an ecoupon and take out the paper coupon. I realize that the website says that you can't use both a paper and exoupon, however; they should be consistent.

    • Music_2011

How can I get the booklets that are talked about once in a while, like from Krogers home mailer, Health Booklet, ect. I'm new at this and would appreciate this question answered. Thanks Have a Great Day

      • They send them to KrogerPlus cardholders. If you have a KrogerPlus card and aren't getting the booklets, you might want to ask the manager of your store about it.

        • Jbush27

I have a Kroger Plus card but I have never gotten a home mailer. I emailed Kroger and their response was that I don't shop there often enough. I only really shop there for the mega sales, so I don't qualify to get a home mailer.

          • Bsajanderson2

I don't get their home mailer either. I spend quite a bit there too. My mom gets them though. I'm going to ask my store's manager why I'm not getting them. Then I'll let her know they will lose my business out of sheer principle if they continue to discriminate because of whatever criteria they go by.

          • Bkbbmullins

It does depend upon how much you spend in their store. And the mailers are usually for items the computer show that you specifically buy often. (Which is great.) I've seen on these posts that some people call Kroger customer service and ask for them. You might try that. I never asked for mine, just started getting them in the mail. But, I do 90% of my grocery shopping at Kroger. (Til I started couponing, that is.)

    • Ebroyles2001

I love that they give you $3 instantly and $3 coupons once you have paid. I went back in and loaded up on Ravioli for the kids. I was looking at my receipt and I saw the bonus coupon and I didn't know what that was but reading some of the comments I realized they doubled my coupon. So happy the best shopping trip so far.

      • gracie1

Yes, I loved that $3 coupon too. And today I went to Publix and bought Crystal Light BOGO for $3.99 and used the $3 Kroger Q as a competitor at Publix :)

    • HeatherWva

      You have — Coca-Cola 12 pk, 12 oz., cans $3.69 (terrible price!) —
It says terrible price? I think I must have misunderstood how this page works then , because I thought only items were listed when they were @ their rock bottom low price?

      • Hey there,
On Mega Events I try to list all of the deals so you can take your pick. Thanks for your question and have a great day.

        • HeatherWva

Ahh. thank you for explaining. By the way love your website and thank you for finding all these deals and helping us save!

    • Kenzbug

I went to Kroger Sunday and got back 3 / $3 coupons for my next visit. Does anybody know if I can use all 3 coupons on my next visit or will it only be allowed 1 coupon per visit?

      • Lucy

(The question has been asked and answered below but it's probably getting lost in all the other posts. Here's my answer to someone else who asked a similar question…)

        • kenzbug

If I can only use 1 per transaction, can I make 2 or 3 different transactions on the same day, or will they make me wait until another day? I live in a rural area and it is a little over 20 miles to any grocery store. I hope I can use them all in the same day on different transactions.

          • Lucy

I make back-to-back transactions at my store without any problems. I usually use the U Scan check out and scan my first order, pay for it and place the bags on the floor or the very bottom of the cart. Then I start my second transaction. As long as the U Scan isn't busy, the cashiers don't have a problem with me doing two or three transactions at a time.

Just don't forget to use the Catalina earned in the first transaction as payment in the second transaction if that's what you have planned. :-)

            • kenzbug

Oh good, thanks for your help Lucy.

    • Michelle

Ok I have a question – for these mega events – if I have a free coupon, will that item still count towards the 10? I'm thinking because it will come off before they enter in coupons, right? The value of the coupon wouldn't make a terrible amount of difference?

      • Sb

You are correct. You can use the coupon with the megaevent items.

    • Emily

Anyone else have trouble finding the Betty Crocker brownie mix coupon?? It says that it's in the 2/13 SS insert but I don't see it…

      • Sb

Look in the General Mills Smart Source. If you don't have it your area must not have received it. Coupons are regional.

      • kenzbug

I'm in Macon, GA and I didn't have those coupons either. And I was so looking forward to them so I could stock up. :-(

    • Cwol

Some of these sale prices that Jenny list as being after the $3 off instant for the ME are pretty good prices, but it took me a second to realize that actually you could take $.30 more off each product price because of the $3 off cat that prints (and especially if you turn around and make another transaction). Once you take that other $.30 off, there are a lot of great deals this week…putting alot of products in the $.10 to $.20 range. Thanks much

    • couponshawn

Does anyone know if the Barilla pasta PLUS (which has the available coupons) is included in the current sale?

      • Tdfrazer

I used my Barilla Plus coupons last week on regular Barilla and they worked. Got it free. But the Barilla Plus isn't included in the sale.

        • jnd

          and that is coupon fraud!

        • Nackle78

I don't think its fraud. I do it all the time (it's the same company for crying out loud) with Kraft Homestyle Mac/chz and regular Kraft Mac N chz.

    • Dayonne2007

So do the prices above already hav .30 taken off assuming you buy 10, are are these marked as you would see initally?

Also are all Mega Items also Daytona Items? Or only some?

And last if you have mutiple ecoupons (diffrent experations) on your card, will it let you use them all in one tranaction if you are buying matching items?

    • Samantha

Question! Gillette body wash is on sale for $2.50. I have a manuf. coupon for $2 off and there's and e-coupon for $2 off. So will that be a $1.50 money maker?

      • Mslonas

YES….I did this same thing w/Hunts diced tomatoes, got 3 for free and made 47cents! the only problem is, if the ecoupon will ACTUALLY work, their finicky, sometimes they'll take off , sometimes they wont, and Kroger has nothing to do w/ecoupons, so of course, they cant help you if it doesnt take, but its worth a shot, esp if its THAT much of a $$ maker!

      • Mandi

Is this part of the Mega event or just on sale?

      • Judy

Unfortunatley, they will let you use ONLY the ecoupon OR the paper one. When you download your coupons onto your Kroger card, if you hit the “more information” button, it will tell you that they will NOT let you use both. Sorry!

        • Tez

Depends on the store computer, I think. My store allows both.

        • Kenzbug

My store allows both as well.

      • Carman

What I've always done is have them scan my kroger card first (so the ecoupons will come off automatically) and then at the end, give them my paper coupons. Both have always come off with no problems!!

      • I think it depends on the individual store. Sunday I was able to use my mfr coupons for the Betty Crocker fruit snacks, and the ecoupon came off too!

      • Samantha

        It worked! Made $1.50:)!

    • Mandi

So I just have to ask if anyone has tried the Lloyd's BBQ tub? Mine was TERRIBLE! I'm just wondering if it was just mine or if it's truly that gross. We couldn't even finish a small sandwich. I would be willing to take it back and exchange it for another one but I wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with it first. It was basically pure sauce with a little BBQ and you couldn't really tell that it was pork at all.

      • germangirl

I've had that before and my son really likes it. I think it's ok, nothing special.

      • Sarahenapier

I can't eat it. I think it is gross . . . I have found lots of bones and lots of fat . . . I skip this deal and let someone else benefit. My hubby will eat all types of processed food junk, but he doesn't care for this . . . I have tried it at least three times . . .

I just buy pork when on sale and bbq sauce and make it myself in the crock pot . . . .

      • Weebles200

I buy the chicken variety and make bbq pizza with pineapple. It's not so great on a sandwich but makes an amazing pizza!

      • Shinne6

We have this about once a month at our house. I am thinking you got a bad product

      • Kenzbug

I buy it just every once in a while. It's one of those things I think is just okay. I only buy it when I can get it for a low, low price and only fix it when I am dead beat tired and just don't feel like cooking.

      • Steve

Don't buy Lloyds – it's horrible and doesn't even resemble meat.

You gotta get Brookwood Farms. Accept no substitute.

    • Le

Does anyone know if the $25 credit for prescription transfer is per prescription or just $25 no matter how many are transferred?

      • Nelmarie17

It's just for one prescription and there is a limit of one per household.

      • Mandi

        I had 2 transferred and I got $50. I didn't ask. They just did it… :-)

        • CouponNERD

Yup – I don't think there is a limit. Just scan your Kroger card or give the phone number associated with it. I got a mailer last month to bring in 5 prescriptions (NEW or transfer) and get $100 loaded to your card. That's over, so now I'm looking for something to transfer to get the $25…

      • Purdueboiler02

        There is a $300 limit.

        • Le

Cool!! i am no where close to $300, but did have multiple prescriptions. That is great!

    • Michelleyoung117

What is the Kroger Home Mailer that has the manuf. coupons in it? I have never gotten one in the mail. I just got my rewards but no man. coupons.

      • Kenzbug

I don't get one either. I emailed Kroger to ask them about it. I'm still waiting on a reply from them to see what they say.

      • Luci

After several months of having the Kroger card, I finally got a Kroger home mailer. This one is the Daytona 500 and is a booklet with coupons. These have the kroger logo positioned below the main part of the coupon, so I could use these in CVS, Target or somewhere else especially if I trimmed off the logo. (Logo is just on there. Most of the coupons start with a 5 so they are manufacturer coupons). Most of these match up with the Mega Sale.

    • Pammartycoupon7

Does Kroger accept other stores coupons such as Publix or Walgreens?

    • Samantha

I just have to share! I went to Kroger last night and did the best EVER with coupons (beat my record:)! Total before plus card, coupons, and e-coupons was $344…went down to $189!!! Whoooo hoooo! I saved $149 (45%)! Thanks so much Jenny for all you do! You save me so much money!

    • Elizabeth

I found 75cent off Vitamin water coupons at a Casey's gas station and ended up getting Vitamin water for only 25 cents each! Awesome deal if you can find these coupons.

    • Rose

To all Huntsville AL shoppers… the new Kroger on 72W is now scrutinizing coupons. I went shopping last night and the cashier said that they were constantly getting in trouble with management because of fake coupons.

I print my coupons and black and white, and she asked if they were copied. I told her they were not and showed her the different serial numbers, but she was still really concerned. She had a manager come over to get approval. The manager accepted the coupons, and showed her how to tell a real coupon from a fake one. However, she did mention that they can only take two like printable coupons per visit. I know other stores have been doing this, but the Krogers in Huntsville have never mentioned or enforced this rule. If people keep gaming the system, shoppers in Huntsville will eventually not be allowed to combine ecoupons and manufacturing coupons. I think it's a blessing that they allow us to use both.

If you run into this, please do not get upset with the cashier. They are only trying to do and keep their jobs. To all those that are making or knowingly passing fake coupons, please realize that you are negatively impacting that homes of others. I know saving every little bit helps, but do so legally. Also, if you are in need of coupons, just post what coupons you need. The generosity of others will provide for you.

PS… I don't have any pets, so if anyone wants my pet coupons just let me know. I have a lot of them now and will happily share what I have in the future.

    • Debee2000

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just came back from my local Kroger and they only let me use 1 of the 2 $3 mega coupons with the 11 items I had (10 were mega). Clerk said only 1 was allowed. So now I have 2 again and will try again this Sunday when we shop. BUT I did save 70%!

    • Gunter00

The Totino party pizza's are showing for $2.39 in my local ad vs. what is showing on here. Normally my prices are a touch higher, but not that much. Are there different sizes of these kinds of pizza's? That just sounds high for those little things.

      • Rgbarron01

I think it might be a misprint. In the Greater Louisville area the prices show as $2.39 in the ad as well but the shelf price is $1.25 ($0.95 w/ savings). Bought 4 tonight (using 2 X $0.75/2 for a really good deal).

      • Danielle

There is a $.50 of 2 rvoupon also

        • Danielle

          Sorry meant ecoupon.

    • Mom2boys

I was just wondering if anyone else has trouble redeaming their e-coupons? Some days they come off, and others they don't. Last week we were reviewing our receipt and I noticed that a $4 e-coupon was not redeamed. I took my iphone to the customer service desk and showed them the coupons loaded on my card (there's a Kroger ap if you didn't know). The manager told me that they have experienced trouble with the alignment of bar codes. However on Sunday, I was able to use two e-coupons along with 2 paper coupons. Odd, I wish they were consistent.

      • Angela D.

I have noticed the same thing lately…it seemed last year I could use my e-coupons along with my paper coupons with no problems but this year I have had major problems with them. Sometimes I feel I get alot better deal and not have to worry about e-coupons at Publix!

        • Mom2boys

I've found that only about 50% of mine are coming off. It's very frustrating! Why advertise e-coupons if there's still glitches in their system? I wish we had a Publix here!

      • Thall561

Me too! I just plan on not counting on them. if they come off then that is just a bonus.

      • Kenzbug

Most of my ecoupons don't come off. I'm with Thall561, I just don't count on them.

    • Anezkalynne

In Dalton, GA the PowerBars are still 10/$10 and I got a $3 oyno from the catalina machine yesterday when I bought 10.

    • Rjboell

      hmmm..wish i understood this more

    • Bamafan48

Are you able to use Kroger coupons at the Publix in Decatur, AL?

      • Pevadiva

        definitely

    • Rmatt

Beginner with a question….If I purchase 30 items and they are all participation items in the mega sale will I get 3 $3 off catalina's at the end to use on my next trips or will I only get 1? I'm trying to figure out if I need to make multiple transactions or not. Does anyone know?

      • Morinapb

        YES

        • Kim Roby1

Yes you will get 3 $3 off catalina's so you can purchase all the items in one transaction.

          • Nackle78

buyer beware, someone just posted above that they will only let you use one catalina at a time on a future purchase!

    • Caroline

I was really disappointed at Kroger (Harrisonburg, VA) today. They told me that they couldn't double my Colgate coupons since that exceeded the item value. I said I didn't want it doubled, just up to $.48 so I wasn't getting overage. I thought I had a copy of the coupon policy (which is vague anyway) but I didn't. They have their own typed policy on the wall that says they'll double coupons but not if it exceeds item value. They swore that no other stores were doing that, although according to Southern Savers they must be. I'm thinking about contacting corporate. Apparently they had to change the policy because three women were coming in with up to 20 like coupons and clearing shelves. I just hate being treated like I'm doing something wrong when all I'm trying to do is save my family money. I wish I'd told them to cancel the three Colgates but they'd already shoved my coupons in the drawer. I told the manager that if I'd known I would have just waited for a 10/$10 sale!

      • Bianca

The gal who took my Colgate coupon didn't even stop to look at the coupon. It was for $.50 off and the system took off the $.50 plus a bonus coupon of $.48. I like to go to the teens when I check out. They never give me a hassle because they don't care.

      • Broach Andrea

at my store, it will automaticly double to the price of the item. I got refried beans the other day marked down to 49 cents and had a coupon for 50 cents off, so it just credit me for the 49 cents.

      • Ayechaw

I contacted Kroger and each store creates it's own policy. They don't accept certain coupons at my Kroger here in Columbia, SC. Bummer!!!

    • jhoran

Ok, even though the deals are great, its going to be tough to get rid of those catalinas since only 1 can be used at a time. So, since I got back 3, that means I have to go back to the store 3 times and don't forget that if you roll 1 on the sale, it means that another will be generated. Does anyone have any solutions …. would have been nice if they allowed you to use all at the same time. I know one of the managers at Krogers and boy, is he going to get an earfull from me when I see him.

      • Crameybrock

What a night I had, got 13 catalinas at one kroger and thought I could use them all at one time at the next kroger, oh no, only 1. Now I have 12 catalinas that have to be used by 3-3-11 and can only use 1 at a time. I think this deal is crazy.

        • Nackle78

This is EXTREMELY discouraging! I think I may skip this sale then altogether (Was going to go tonight.) I'll prob just get 10 items and do the rest of my shopping at Randalls. :(

    • jhoran

Looks like it will have to be back to back transactions to use the accumulated catalinas and then I think if I waited until the end of the two week sale to purchase more mega event items, it will give me two weeks to use up the remaining ones on other stuff.

    • Juliea201

Not a bad trip… Over $100 in groceries, including some “pricey” frozen goods to make the spouse happy, paid $48, got 2 of the $3 catalinas. FYI, I had no trouble with my e-coupons coming off along with the paper ones at my Knoxville, TN Kroger. Also had a $3 off 4 GM cereals coupon that Kroger sent me (those occasional envelopes they send customers w/ the coups based on your purchasing habits). That plus the e-coups made my cereals $0.89 ea. :)

    • Orangecouponlady

I went last night to the Krogers in Tullahoma, TN and had no problem using both ecoupons and paper. I was waiting till she scanned all the items and politely asked her if she could hit the total button to make sure my ecoupons came off first. She said they have to do that now all the time. She said the management wanted to be sure people got the full use of their coupons!!! Yay!!! No problems and saved $105 AND topped off my tank at $.15 less than anywhere else. wooh hooh.

      • You have GOT to be kidding me! I went there at 5:30 last night and the lady would not even scan my manufacturers coupons. She stopped as soon as she saw the ecoupons come off and said she could not even scan them and handed them right back to me. I couldn't believe it.. . I had her void my order so I could take them back to Winchester. I have only been to that Kroger twice but it was bad both times. I will stick to Winchester.

        • Don

At my store they have a self checkout. I do it myself to make sure I get the ECoupon and my manufacturers coupon.

        • Amanda

That happened to me once at our Kroger. Now I just avoid that cashier

    • Crazy Coupon Man

The easy way to solve the “too many Catalinas” problem is to check out 10 items at a time and use the Catalina on the next 10 items. That way you only leave the store with 1 Catalina or if you have $3 or more to buy that is not in the Mega sale, just check those out separately to use the last Catalina.

      • Chazree

so can anyone confirm that you can use the $3 catalina and still get another one??

        • Crazy Coupon Man

          I did.

      • Nackle78

I thought of this. did you do this? Just seperating them into different transactions? They sure do make this sale complicated!

    • Broach Andrea

went to kroger last night, made five different transation (I acutally asked before i started shopping- I go after I work the afternoon shift so the store super slow). I had asked the casheir which way was better and he suggested to make seperate transations to ensure I use all of the catilinas! He is such a sweety! He even open up a registor for me, so i could have room to seperate all it of it. I love the self check outs but when you have more then twenty items, it gets a little crazy. ANYWAYS, I saved 62 percent! My brother just revently moved in with us, so the TOntinos pizzas, hot pockets, and banquet meals will come in handy!
