National Food Drive – Today!

Today is the National Association of Letter Carriers is running the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.  This is the  nation’s largest single day food drive.  How do you help?  Firstly, place non-perishable food items in a bag (see a list of acceptable foods), then leave it at your mailbox tomorrow morning.  Your letter carrier will pick it up with your mail to be donated to hungry people across the nation!

Since we can easily fill a bag with food for less than $5 I urge you to give generously.  It won’t take us long at all to restock anything you giveaway!!

Note:  This isn’t just for food.  Food Banks also need personal Care items!
