This year there will be 5 free entrance events at the National Parks!  The first is this weekend, January 15-17, assuming you are not snowed in like we are. You can see all the participating parks by state here and check out more details about the other dates this year here to start planning your free trip!

    • I love your blog and had to share it with my followers. Thank you!

Is there any thing you need to print and take with you, or you just show up and it's free?

      • Mamaberry

Nope, don't even have to waste our ink :) Just show up and enjoy!

    • Heartzsong

which parks normally have fees but are free? all it does is take me to a bunch of different places and I'm confused.

      • Mamaberry

This is a database to the National Park Service. Any parks you find in this database (search by your area) will have free entrance on the dates listed. The other link Jenny posted shows the other dates this year where it will be free to enter National Parks. Some are always free, but a lot require at least a per car entrance fee. hth :)

Snowed in this week, but can't wait for the free weeks coming up! We'll be moving out West in June, so I can't wait to go see some of the state parks out that way! Definitely will be planning a trip to the Grand Canyon for one of those days.
