Who doesn’t love a discount on gas! Go to SpinToSave.com and play a fun game for some discounted gas at Shell gas stations.  You can win 5-25¢ off per gallon of gas.

I played and got 5¢ on my three spins…better than nothing!  To get your discount:

Play the Spin to Save Game
Spin the Wheel 3 Times or until you get a discount you like
“Lock in” your amount off per a gallon and sign up for Shell’s Fuel Rewards Network

Sign up for the Fuel Rewards Network and receive your FRN card by mail.  Use this card at the pump for your discounted gas!

Of course the saver in me wonders if you can use this with Fuelperks from Bi-Lo or Winn-Dixie. Has anyone tried?

      Yes-I recently picked a FRN card from my local Shell station and activated it through the spin to save link. It gives you the opotion of adding your WD fuel perks card and an app for your phone also so you can get up to date info. I had the $.25 reward from the game and it added to the $.80 that I had on my WD FP card and I have filled up with $1.05 off per gallon.

      Yes you can…..When you log in to your FRN account you have options to add your store rewards cards and it will combine all your Fuel Perks.  You can also add coupons to your account (kinda like saving star) and you will earn cents off if the coupon is used at participating stores.  Also it is kinda like Ebates where you log into your FRN account and then go online shopping and you will get cents on what you buy from participating stores, they will do bonus days where cents back will be 4x or whatever they make it.  Looks like it will be a great way for discounted gas!!

      If you take your 3 spins and do not get what you like you can hit the refresh button and the game will start over and you will get 3 new spins.

        I’m a little north of Charlotte and haven’t had any issues using mine. I got 25c off when I signed up a week or so ago and combined it with my bi-lo fuelperks and my credit cards.

      I wonder if you can also use them combined with Kroger points.  In my area, participating Shell stations take the Kroger card discounts.

      Also you can keep spinning until you get what you want just refresh – it only “locks” when you sign up =)

      You can link your Bilo card to the shell card and use both fuel perks and shell perks or so I have read

      When I tried to spin to save….it said   HTML 5 coming soon….so it doesn’t even work.  It didn’t give me an option to download anything either.

      A lot of gas stations around me have stopped participated in the Bi-Lo Fuel Perks :o(

        I had this problem with Google Chrome but then when I used IE9, it worked…. maybe try that?

      Seems to not be very popular with Shell stations.  No stores take it within 50 miles of Atlanta.

      if you link your bi-lo card to it, it adds whatever you won on your spin to that! I had $0.05 on my card, won $0.25 in the spin game and when I went grocery shopping Friday, my card said that I had $0.35 (meaning I earned an extra $0.05 at the store that day). When I used my Bi-Lo card at the pump the next day, it took the $0.35 off each gallon! so.. short version, yup, if you link your bi-lo card it’ll work. not sure about WD. We don’t have one anymore…. :(
