I just saw their Black Friday ad and there are so many freebies!! So excited!

      • Dad+2

Where did you see the add? Do you have a link?

        • Anonymous

          iheartcvs(dot)com

          • Kimmy864

Also I saw the ad on blackfriday(dot)info

    • Hhbeverly

I didn’t get the RP coupon but I just found one on their website for $1.50.  It does require registration, tho.

    • Meghan

Awesome! My husband was just telling me he needed more of these :)

    • Anonymous

Oh, such amazing coupons! Unfortunately, my 13 year old laser printer is on the fritz. Any printer deals out there? It’s just killing me not to have a printer.

    • Jenni

On a previous transaction, I tried stacking a CVS coupon like this one with a manufacturer coupon, and the cashier told me that I couldn’t. She said that the CVS coupon was actually a manufacturer coupon specifically for CVS. Are these coupons actually stackable, and if so what should I say the next time I encounter a naysaying cashier?

      • Lucy

The Breathe Right coupon is a CVS store coupon since the bar code begins with a “4”.  It’s CVS policy to accept a manufacturer’s coupon along with a store coupon.  Print out the official CVS coupon policy and take it along with you to the store to show the cashier just in case you encounter a problem in the future.

        • marie

Jenni is right, they say CVS at the top but they are manufacturers coupons. You cannot use 2 mfctr coupons on one product. Bringing a coupon policy isn’t going to work.

The same thing happened w the skintimate coupon. It won’t scan cause it’s a manufacturer coupon. I called corporate and they did say it was considered a mfctr coupon EVEN THOUGH it says CVS on top.

          • Lucy

Like I previously replied, the bar code for the Breathe Right Strips begins with a “4” which means it is a CVS store coupon.  It is definitely not a manufacturer’s coupon and cannot be used in any other store since no other register system would recognize is as a coupon.

Manufacturer’s coupons have a bar code that begins with a “5” or a “9”.   There are some coupons on the CVS website that are printable that have “CVS/pharmacy” at the top of the coupon along with a manufacturer’s bar code that begins with a “5”.  The Colgate Total coupon currently available is a good example of that type of coupon.  (The Colgate coupon is also a good one to print for the upcoming CVS Black Friday sale.)

    • Julia

They should stack…here is the language from their coupon policy on the website “CVS/pharmacy accepts one third-party manufacturer coupon and applicable CVS/pharmacy coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.”

    • Anonymous

I have not stepped foot into a Rite Aid in ages. How many MQs can you use with two items on BOGO sale? The coupon policy doesn’t specifically say, just mentions using one BOGO Q on a pair of items.

      • Anonymous

At Rite Aid, you can now only use 1 mq on a bogo sale, unfortunately.

        • Anonymous

Thanks for the info! And do you know how they handle overages? I have a $7 MQ from the Naturemade loyalty program. Paired with the $5 RA Q, there should be a fish oil for around $12. But if it ends up being $11.98 or something, not sure if the register or cashier would freak out. LOL!

          • Anonymous

Depends on the store, I believe. In my experiences, the full $12 would come off, no beeps, no adjustments. I’ve never tried anything more than a few cents over. I keep expecting them to adjust it down, but hasn’t happen just yet.

    • Coupon Newbie

This coupon says “cannot be combined with any other coupon”. Doesn’t that mean we will not be able to use both the store and MR coupon, on this purchase?

    • Watson7707

I am still new at this, and am learning so much! I LOVE love this site it has helped me so much and I tell everyone I know about it. That being said, someone please help me understand the math on the cvs deal on the breathe right deal. If the strips are 5.99 and I stack 2 coupons that are 1.50 each totaling 3.00 off wouldn’t my total be 2.99 at least oop (I know I get back 5.99 ECB but I am talking about profit) I am trying to understand where I would get it free. Thanks for helping me. I went to I heart cvs and looked at the ad because I thought maybe it was a BOGO  :( I am just not understanding….please help me I want some too!! :))

      • Lucy

Wit the deal, you do have an initial out of pocket cost unless you have existing ECBs to “pay” for the purchase.  But since you are basically paying $2.99 oop for something and receiving $5.99 in ECBs in return, it’s considered “free” in the world of CVS shopping.

If you want to have very little oop to start with, you’d end up buying something like the Benefiber and TheraFlu that are all free after coupons which would earn you ECBs in the first transaction.  Then you’d use those ECBs to purchase other items to earn more ECBs.  And you’d continue to roll your ECBs from purchase to purchase to have very little oop.

    • Melissa Lewis

I have seen several websites talking about combining CVS coupon and mfg coupon for the breath right, but if it is the same cvs coupon i have, it clearly states at the bottom of coupon “Cannot be combined with any other coupon.”

      • Leslie

Melissa, I believe when a store q says that it means it can’t be used with another store coupon for that product.  I’ve never had any problems putting both a mfg q and a store q together. :)

    • Just4yall

OMG lov all the CVS Black Friday Freebies. Have already made my list. I cant wait to see the Rite Aid ad scan.

    • Leslie

There is a 1.50 off q on their website too for those of us that didn’t get the q in the sunday paper woohoo!! (plus the 1.50 from the sunday paper says max 12 ct so it can be used at walmart to get the 2 pack for .97 and get some overage :))

      • Stacyannw

thank you so much for that info

    • janpheng

I am also new to this, for some reason my 10/16 did not have the 1.50 breathe right coupon in it. Also I am a little confused, if the strips are 5.99 then how is 2 $1.50 coupons going to make it free?

      • Guscupon

if i am not wrong the cycle of the sales will be in couples weeks and the price will go down. I am really new on that too, 2 weeks only but really worth!!! I save 67% in my first trip to the groceries!!! I hope my answer is right!! good shop!

        • janpheng

thanks! do you know why some inserts from the papers dont have the $1.50 off because i bought three papers and neither of the three redplums had the coupon in them.

          • Bamasaver

Inserts are regional, not all areas get the exact same coupons.

Because you will get a $5.99 extra care buck when you buy it.  That alone makes it free.  The coupons will make it a profit!

Is CVS going to “turn on” the Black Friday ad late on Thursday like they do on  Saturday evenings – At least for the stores that are not open 24 hours?  And CVS actually open on Thanksgiving?  Even though I am busy all day and probably would not even be able to go into the store on Thursday.  I am just curious.

      • Kimmy864

I saw that stores are going to be open on Thursday, so the sale will start on Thursday.

        • Just4yall

I don’t know about all that. If your store normally starts sales early you might get lucky and they start the Black Friday sales early but they probably wont. Best bet find a 24 hour CVS and go at 12. If you don’t plan to be somewhere else like Walmart or Toysrus or Best Buy. I am still trying to figure out my time schedule.

        • Just4yall

My bad the sale does start on the Thursday maybe you can get lucky on Wednesday.

          • Kmcd0416

All stores are required to start the sale thursday morning. No stores are allowed to activate sale early.

    • Mlfelton72

I didn’t see the coupon for the – $5 off any Nature Made Fish Oil.  Am I missing something?  Please help.

      • Ginger

I can’t find it either. I’m hoping someone answers you, but I suspect that it is already gone.

    • Natalie559

The CVS coupon printed in little letters: Cannot be combined with any other coupon- I guess it means that?

      • Pam1105

I seen this too when I printed it. I have never used CVS coupons. Does this mean I cannot use it with a manufacturer coupon?
