    • woo hoo!! :)  thanks, Jenny!

    • Jennifer Hansen

Where do you find the Publix donation coupon sheet?

      • It was available earlier this summer for a donation, I think to Children’s Miracle Network.

      • It was a long time ago, they were raising money for like march of dimes and you had to donate a certain amount of money and you got a sheet of coupons.

      • I got mine earlier this year.  It was a $10 donation for the sheet; however, most of the coupons were $2-$3 off the items listed.  :)

    • Anonymous

      man… I’m never gonna be first :)

      • Anonymous

does it really matter?? i’m too busy trying to get my list and deals together to try to see what number i place in the “race”….just blessed to have jenny do all this wonderful work that she does to help us all out during this hard time when we are all trying to just keep our heads above water and feed our sweet families…just sayin’

        • Anonymous

huh?!?!? My post was purely in jest. It’s a well known ‘game’ to try and be the first to post a comment on ANY blog that is popular.  It was a joke bobbys1girl… just a fun comment…

    • Is there a special zip for infamil coupons?

    • Seems to be a pretty good week for Publix!

    • Don’t see it on the list but I think they also will have Kellogs on sale:

Kellogg’s Eggo Pancakes or French Toaster Sticks or Mini Muffin Tops or Cinnabon Pancakes, 12.7 to 16.4 oz, BOGO $2.79

and the $5 Publix Gift Card Offer is still good til 9/9 so if you buy 5 of those you can send off for it

      • Jenifer Robertson

That would be great if they are on sale. I’m in need of breakfast food for the kids. Is the rebate form on the Publix website? Thanks!

      • Where is the Kelloggs rebate info?

        • Anonymous

          on the yellow flyer

      • Anonymous

And if you have the Kellogg’s back to school booklet, there is a $2 off gallon of milk when you buy 2 eggo products!

        • are those pretty much gone now?

      • anyone know if you can just fill out one form and provide all the receipts (for multiple GCs) or is a separate form for each?

    • Jennifer & John Layport

There is a $2 off 1 box cheerios on the publix website..which would make the boxes 4 cents a piece?!?

      • Anonymous

        wrong size  :(

        • Jennifer & John Layport

i knew that was too good to be true! lol

      • April Hargraves

Where are you seeing that coupon??

      • The publix coupon is for a larger size box.

      • Anonymous

Exactly where on publix website did you find this Q?  Thank you :)

      • Anonymous

where is the coupon at on the site? I dont see it

      • I didn’t list the coupon because only the Yellow Box of Cheerios is on sale. The coupon is for Honey Nut and the sizes don’t matchup. It is a great coupon though.

    • Jennifer & John Layport

There is a $2 off 1 box cheerios on the publix website..which would make the boxes 4 cents a piece?!?

    • Is the BOGO only for the regular Cheerios (yellow box)?

      • Publix Chick

Nope. There will be a variety of them, as long as they fall within that size range, you should be good. =-)

      • Hopefully, in the ad it just mentions cheerios and no other types though.

      • The Honey Nutisstill live in our Atlanta stores-
use your $2. Publix Q, along with the .75 man Q’s

        • Anonymous

Publix Q is for a larger size!

        • The bogo sale is for 10-14 oz. The $2 off coupon is for 14.8 and up….So you can’t use it for this deal unfortunately

*edit* Whoops..didn’t see the other comments until after I posted this one. !! Sorry

    • Anonymous

Dang, the Publix ad in Savannah doesn’t start until Thursday, 9/1.  Guess I won’t be taking advantage of all the goodies since most of my coupons expire 8/31.  :(

      • Anonymous

Same here in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl

        • all of my local south FL  Pubix accept expired Q’s, as long as it is within the week they expire- up thru Sat evening.

          • Anonymous

Which ones? I’m in Ft. Lauderdale.

      • Anonymous

Same situation in N Georgia.  Ad doesn’t start til 9/1 :(

      • Anonymous

Check with your store–many will take expired coupons—if it’s only a day or two after the expiration date.

      • Anonymous

Check with your store–many will take expired coupons—if it’s only a day or two after the expiration date.

      • Anonymous

My Publix will still take them if they expire as long as you use them before Saturday of that week because they turn them all in on Saturday.  Check with your store…I’m sure it’s different…lol…as with everything else.

we go to the pooler ga publix cause its the nearest to where we live.. does anyone know if they take expired coupons if they are only a day or 2 out?

        • Anonymous

I tried to use an expired coupon at this store and was told that they don’t accept them, even if they’re only expired by 1 day :(

Has anyone been able to find Nature Made vitamins under $3.99?

      • Publix Chick

Mostly Vitamin B12 and some types of calcium can be found for around that.

      • Anonymous

Yes, the Vitamin D 400 is $2.99 in both the Nature Made & Sundown.  I am in Naples and are prices are high here so, probably cheaper where you are at.  You have to really look low and to the side for these bottles.

    • Anonymous

Has anyone been able to find Nature Made vitamins under $3.99?

      • Anonymous

I found a couple of bottles priced at $2.99 at my store in Mauldin, SC

      • Anonymous

I cannot find any less than 3.99

    • Anonymous

My Publix is also clearancing some Pampers diapers—they are $14.99 for the large boxes. You can use your Baby Booklet coupon, a factory coupon, AND the Target coupon…and get the big box for $8.99!!!

      • Anonymous

Publix allows 2 coupons per item, so you can’t use all 3. You can use a Manufacturers plus a store coupon, or a competitor , but not all 3 on one item.

    • Publix Chick

There is a B2G1 Target coupon for the Kraft dressings, making this an excellent deal!

    • Anonymous

No more coupon on Facbook for BIC Multi-Purpose Lighter :( I don’t like when companies want us to “LIKE” them & then they say they are out of coupons!

      • Publix Chick

That bothers me too. =-( Did you get the ones from the paper? They were in the paper on Sunday.

        • Anonymous

I did but was hoping to use 2 coupons to take advantage of the BOGO.

          • Anonymous

i still have 2 bic lighters from their last bogo at publix.. i will get another one this time, cause they last forever it seems.. but i dont like “liking” a company either.. or filling out forms to just get a “sorry”..

I’m looking for a few of the ALL laundry detergent q’s (Target insert 08/07 I think)
to use for the upcoming sale. If, by chance, you are in the ATL area and
have these q’s but aren’t planning on using them please contact me at
      ceruleancharlie@gmail.com. I will gladly trade any baby/diaper/etc.
cpns, if interested. For whatever reason, my AJC’s rarely (like maybe
once in the past three months) have Target coupons and I haven’t found a
way to locate these inserts. Thank you!!!!!

      • Anonymous

        Same here…

      • Anonymous

We ordered the inserts online as they were regional and we didn’t get them in the ATL area…you could try that.

        • Anonymous

i have not ever orderd before 4 2 sundays the coupons were left out of our papers here in pickens sc is it reliable and safe to order on internet and do you get more qps

          • Anonymous

I have ordered coupons from 3 sites and I have had very good results. the coupon clippers dot com, coupon beat dot com and even ebay. The only thing is on ebay most coupons come in lots of 20, so I only go here when I really want a high value coupon that was not in my Sunday inserts. The other two sites allow me to order what ever I need.

        • Anonymous

Thanks, everyone! I will try ordering from some of these coupon sites you all suggested to hopefully remedy this problem!

I think you will be able to use the Target Diet Pepsi Q as well, bringing the Diet Pepsi real cheap. $1.50 per pack.

    • Anonymous

True couponing dot com had a link for a coupon for $1/2 Newmans Own Products.  Also, my Winn Dixie had peelies on the Kraft bbq that said buy Kraft bbq get $1.00 off Kraft salad dressing.  The size of both the bbq and salad dressing are the same that are BOGO this week.  Will make for a sweet deal if you can find them.

    • Anonymous

In Sunday’s AJC there was a coupon for $1 off Newman’s Own Pasta sauce making it 34 cents!

    • H Austin

Does anyone know if you can use the Publix coupon that exp 9/4 on the Hellmann’s and the V-8??

      • Anonymous

No, the mayo coupon is not the right size and the V-8 is for 100% vegetable juice.

        • H Austin

Ugg! ok, Thanks for the heads up… :)

        • i was hoping you could use the hellmans q, too…i notice the coupon is for a smaller size than what is on sale so im going to ask the customer service if theyll allow it beforehand

    • Anonymous

Heads Up: The Uncle Bens coupon isn’t .75/1 it’s $1/2.

      • Coupon amounts vary regionally :-)

        • Anonymous

It is an online coupon, not a regional insert coupon.

    • stupid question im sort of new to couponing but i love to save money any way i can. I have watched several of the beginner videos but am still confused on this one particular topic. On the b1g1 deals at the top there is a price and then in ( ) another price, what is that?

The price in the ( ) is the price per item.  If you live elsewhere besides Florida you can buy just one item and still get the deal.

      • Anonymous

And, you can use coupons on both items!!!!!! It took me a while to figure out how some of these prices were so low because I wasn’t familiar with Publix. Oftentimes the BOGO’s can be super bargains if you have the cpns that correspond with the products on sale! Good luck!

How do you get a pet savings booklet?

      • Anonymous

Maybe sign up online (Publix site)? I saw the small pamphlet/booklet in the pet aisle last week and I flipped through it thinking it may contain coupons, but I didn’t see any. I think there was a form inside you could fill out, but there was also a website to visit too. I’m glad you asked the question because it reminded me to investigate the website so hopefully my pets can benefit from my couponing frenzy :-)

I have a lot of coupons from this week’s Sunday paper that I will not use.I have 2 of MOST of them, maybe with the exception of 2 or 3.They are:
-ALL of the P&G “men’s” coupons (Old Spice, Gilette, Mach 3)
      -P&G Always Pads
      -Zyrtec
      -Children’s Claritin
      -Metamucil
      -Align
      -Degree deodorant
      -Olay
      -Venus razors
      -Duracell batteries
      -Herbal Essences/Aussie
      -Bissell
      -Secret deodorant
      -Crest “For Me” products

If you would like to trade some of these, email me at cepcoupons@gmail.com.  I would like to send these to maybe two people, so clarify which ones you would like.  :)

I am in the greater Atlanta area, more specifically Camp Creek pkwy is my nearest Publix and they no longer allow stacking coupons (using one store coupon and one manufacturing coupon on the same product).  Does anyone know an Atlanta Publix that still permits this?  Preferably south of spaghetti junction :)

      Thanks!

      • I live in Conyers and I know all the publix stores on the east side of Atlanta still stack coupons. I know a lot of people who have had trouble with the Camp Creek publix. I have heard so many complaints.

      • According to Publix new coupon policy, which is posted on their website, they will accept one store and one manu coupon per product.  I would recommend talking to the store manager, and if that doesn’t work then submit a complaint via e-mail and it will go to the district manager as well.  It may be helpful to print off the policy and take it with you, to show them they are violating their own policy.  If the store coupon is not publix, then each store takes different ones (depending on local competiters), but the list should be posted on the store window.

      • Marietta, Acworth & Kennesaw are the areas i usually shop and i never had problem on stacking coupons.

    • Anonymous

There are no Pantene or Viva coupons on the target website.

Could someone please help me. I have downloaded the coupon printer and the coupon toolbar but everytime I try to print a coupon it tells me that I need to download it. Its as if it is not recognizing that I already have or something. I have checked in my programs and it is showing there so I do not know what else to do. Also the Glade scented oil refill thats showing its printable, everytime I enter my zip code it just sits there and doesnt print. PLEASE HELP

      • Anonymous

Sometimes the anti-spyware blocks it. Make sure whatever program you have doesn’t recognize it as spyware.

      • Anonymous

I have windows7 & the same problem with the coupon printer.  You have to go to it in your programs and uninstall it first.  Then reinstall it again.  It drives me crazy bec. every once in a while I have to uninstall and reinstall!  I don’t kow about the Glade sencted oil refill though.

I had same problem when used Explorer for printing. I switched to Firefox, no problems, all goes smoothly!!! Download printer and print coupons in Firefox!!!

      • Mine does that on Google Chrome, but not on Explorer.  I use Chrome for everything except printing coupons!

      • U can ask your the supermaket manager’s is they will accept the expirate coupon, Sometimes they ok them if is less then a week.

      • Anonymous

I haven’t tried it but I do know some Publix will take expired coupons because they don’t turn in the manufac coupons until Saturday. I’m definitely going to my Publix if they also do this.

        • Anonymous

i know the publix on south lake dr in irmo, sc does.  I did it last week.  try to find the cashier named “Kee”.  She is awesome!!  I think she normally works during the day and she will help any way she can,  SUPER SWEET!!   The Bilo in Chapin ,sc will too.  Try to get Sherry there-another GREAT CASHIER (works until 1pm during the week)

    • question- in the scenario for Dove Deodorant Jenny lists using 2 of the $2.00 off coupons from the Green Advantage Buy Flyer. My publix has refused to allow two of the same advantage buy coupons to be used in the same transaction. Did I get the wrong cashier? Does Publix policy allow for two of the same Advantage Buy coupons to be used in the same transaction?

      • Anonymous

I have.  Probably depends on the cashier.

        • Anonymous

it is very store dependent, some store managers will allow it but other stores will not. It’s always best to ask at custome service first.

      • You should be able to as long as you have two copies of the flyer. They could be sticklers though since a lot of those might say ‘limit one deal per customer’. That’s not ‘per purchase’, that is per person. I haven’t had any cashiers tell me no when I tried to use 2 of the coupons.
A publix manager actually told me once that you only needed one coupon and they could apply the code to all the items. He was tired of having the entire stack of flyers gone the day they came out. I’m guessing they have since stopped that method (even though it was more convenient) because I was told they had to account for ALL store coupons now.
My favorite, and I wish there more of them, are the self checkout registers they have (similar to kroger and walmart). You type in the code # and insert the coupon in. No hassles!

      • k p

I was told that you could only get the deal once per transaction.  My Publix is fantastic about the Green Advantage flyers.  They were out when I was there last week and customer service told me I could just tell the cashier that I wanted to use the $2 off Degree coupon and they would give me the discount even though I didn’t have a coupon in hand.

    • jenny,
how do you know when a certain product will cycle through?I have been waiting for Newman’s own dressing and Quaker oat square cerealto be on sale at Publix- thanks so much!

      • Anonymous

I recently read on one of Jenny’s coupon tutorials that sales cycle about every 6 weeks, so when something goes on sale it’s a good rule of thumb to stock a 6 week supply until it goes on sale again.

      • Anonymous

As you coupon longer, you will realize that many items that you use do not follow the 6-12 week cycle rule. Most cereals go on sale during that time. There are items that go with seasons, so the time to stock up is during that season. There are things that typically go on sale for back to school time and not ever again. I cannot find the time to make a chart or list to keep track, but somehow I just kind of remember.

I can’t find Betty Crocker Cookie Mix coupon in SS 8/7.  I got 4 inserts in the GA Times Union.  Anyone else missing them as well?  It seems like I have seen them somewhere but can’t find them!  I wouldn’t care but I love these too much!

Mine were in the Box Tops for Education insert.

      • Me too, plus I did not have the KC Masterpiece coupon from ss8/21 or the Dannon Danimals from ss 8/14???  I am in SC and lately I have gone to get a coupon from a certain date listed and I do not have it at all.  They have also been missing from the RP as well as SS.  Can someone tell me why our area would not have the same coupons.  I would think the flyers would be Nationwide.

      • It wasn’t the normal SS.  It was the third insert for that week for the Box Tops.  I made the same mistake looking for the Cookie Mix.

my publix will still accept them in the same week or so. You could try em, the worse that could happen is they don’t take em. The office turns them end at the end of the week or the end of their sale.

    • I found a $1 off Man. Q on the Sabra hummus in a Kroger home mailer called “Lunch Made Simple”.  There is also $.50/1 Sargento Cheese Slices (MQ).  Many others too!

Can someone please let me know where I can get a Publix donation coupon sheet? Based on some blogs I’ve read I believe it’s given to customers who make a donation of some kind, but where do we donate and how much is required for the coupon sheet? Thank you very much and I apologize if this question has been answered :)

      • momto2boys

Those were given out a month or so ago with a donation to children’s miracle network.  I don’t believe they are still doing it but it was a donation at the register.

          Okay thanks so much!!!

    • How do I combine a BOGO sale at Publix with a B3G1 Target coupon?  Do I pick up 4 or 6 items?

      • Anonymous

buy 4.i did it with keebler cookies

        • I always have problems trying to figure that out. So…if you buy 4…you get 2 free right?

          • Anonymous

If you buy four and you use b3go free(target) and 2 manf your total should be around 3.50 and remember if you buy 5 kellogge or keebler products you get 5 dollar gift card,I got the ricekrispie treats there is a manf and target coupon for it as well.AND YOU CAN DO THIS UP TO 5 TIMES

            • So Ritz crackers were BOGO, plus I had a Target B3G1 and manf coup for .75 off 2.  I picked up 4 boxes, paid for 2 (at 3.09 I think) and got 2 free.  Then the Target coupon took off another $3.09, plus my $1.50 in manf. coupons.  So I paid about $1.59 for 4 boxes, or about .40 each.  A friend said I should have gotten 2 more free, but I’m not following her. Any ideas?

          • no…if you buy 4 you get 3 free.  the 2 publix automatically gives you and the 3rd free one your target coupon entitles you to.   so all in all…buy 4 get three free.  hth

I won’t be able to shop at my regular Publix on Thursday so was going to try and use the one at Roswell Road at the Prada, does anyone normally shop that store, I could also go to the one on Hammond Drive but it is a really tiny store.   Any suggestions would be great.

      • Chris

The store at The Prado is small too – about the same size as the one on Hammond.  The best one in that area is the one at Roswell and Abernathy and then there’s another one north of that.  The one at Roswell and Abernathy though I’ve had serious issues with when it comes to Qs.  If you’re just going in to get enough to get your penny item then stick with the Prado location and then hit your regular store for anything more.  HTH

What $5 publix gift card offer? tell me more….

    • Just FYI for anyone getting the Degree, I don’t know where Jenny got that they were 2.07.  They are actually 4.79.  Too bad I didn’t realize this until I got home.  :/  On a brighter note the Publix q for the $2 off the Cheerios DOES work.  If you look carefully at the wording it says any Cheerios.  There is one listed towards the bottom (cinnamon toast crunch??) that has a specific size listed, but its any size Cheerios.  Hope that helps someone!

      • Anonymous

they are several type of degree for 2.07 and there also some for 479 maybe you picked up the wrong one i am in canton ga

        • Anonymous

The Degree is $2.07 in the ATL area for the regular size deodorant.

          • We have the most expensive area… Degree are $2.99. The premium ones are $4.99 and up.

      • PJ

There were several at my store, the smaller less flashy  bottles were only 2.07  They were on the top shelf.

        • Dang!! I bet they were on the top shelf.  It sucks being short lol.

The lowest price at my store is 2.09. Athens, AL

in my store in palm bay fl, they were $2.79

      • Steph08252001

at my publix, i bought the 2.99 degree, used the $2 store and $1 manu (which i think might have been expired).

      • Cyndi Stewart

The degree in my store is 2.05 the adv. buy q is for 2.00 off degree or dove doesn’t specify & man q is a 1.00 although some degree q’s are specific eg.. on ultimate or w/ motion sense which are 4.00&up so read if it doesnt specify it can be used

    • Anybody else having trouble with the Pedigree coupons?  I tried to use them at Walmart and they would not go through.  I just noticed that they do not have a 5 or a 9 in front of them however they say manu q?

    • The $2 Publix q does work for this sale.  If you look at the wording on the q it says any Cheerios.  The cereal that is listed last has a size but the rest don’t.  And my store had several variaties of Cheerios on sale.  HTH!

      • Anonymous

where is the publix cheerio coupon i just got a LETTER from my daughters teacher wanting us to donate cheerios for snack at school

        • I no longer have the link.  Did you check the coupon database?

    • Anonymous

Sorry, the $2 coupon will not work for this sale.  The size listed pertains to all the different Cheerios listed.

    • Capri’s Coupon Service (you can google it and it should be the top result) is very reliable and the most reasonably price for whole inserts anywhere. It’s just one person running the site and she has TONS of people who use her every single week for inserts.

    • OMG! Are you in the Atlanta area or in Georgia??

    • Anonymous

Does Publix accept this coupon if the add starts the day after it expires? $1 off Sabra products, 8 oz+, SS 6/26 (EXP 08/30)

      • I think it depends on your store. My Publix sends their coupons in Saturday night, so they will take them if they expired in the week before that, if that makes sense. So on Friday you could use a q that expired the previous Sunday, but on Sunday you could not use one that expired the day before, Saturday.

    • Anonymous

Oh good…pickles are bogo….again….cause I might run out of the 5 jars that I have in my stockpile.  I love Publix sales, but I wish they had more variety offered in the bogo sales more often.

    • Just got home from Publix and they have a new coupon sheet out!! It a stocking spree Stock Up & Save Now with a ton of good coupons, they expire 9/22/11. Also I had a $1 off any V8 Splash Juice coupon 46 oz(I think it said) and larger man coupon, so I was about to use it on the BOGO 64 oz. Not sure which insert it was from but its not listed above.

      • guest

the V8 coupon from publix is for only the veggie kind….the one on sale is the splash! I dont think you wil be able to use it!

        • It wasn’t a publix coupon it was a man coupon like I stated above.

Has anyone gotten the Dannon q from Target to print?

      • Steph08252001

i did last week, but didn’t see it this week.  maybe because i already printed it.

    • Yes. I printed the Dannon q yesterday. I used google chrome to print it, but a lot of ppl say Firefox is the best browser to print coupons.

    • If Coke products are b2g1 at Publix, and I have a b2g1 coupon for them, what should I do? It’s so confusing to me.

      • Anonymous

Then you should actually get 2 free and only pay for 1.  The store is giving you one for free and the manufacturer is giving you one for free.  I know how it works, not sure how to explain it where it could be under stood. Maybe someone else can shed some light?  I do know that in the end you will only pay for 1!  Store sales to not negate coupons.

    • I ordered 20 Pedigree (dog food 3.5lbs or larger) coupons for my neighbor and she doesn’t need them anymore. The coupons will expire in 9/11/11.

This will go great with the Publix’s BOGO sale starrting this Wed/Thursday. I will be happy to pass the coupons out to someone who could use it. The first one to email me will get them. My email address is kengjw@yahoo.com.

    • What is the Publix donation coupon sheet?

      • Rgnurse911

A while back they had a coupon sheet they handed out if you made a donation to some charity they were promoting. Not available anymore.  I still have some of my coupons from it.

        • Darshu1

Cool! Is there a way I can get Dixie plate coupon?

    • momto2greatkids

I just got back from our Publix trying to get the Zyrtec deal.  It was marked up to $28.49.  I tried to use the green flyer coupon (buy Zyrtec, get visine free), a manuf. Zyrtec coupon, and a manuf. Visine coupon.  The cashier wouldn’t let me used the manuf. Visine coupon because the Publix coupon made it free.  Did I figure that wrong?  I thought that you could use a store and a manuf. coupon on an item.

      • Anonymous

You can.  The cashier was wrong.  The same thing happened to me last week with the buy 5 Totinos pizza get Pillsbury cookies free Publix coupon.  I had a .50 man. q for the cookies, as well.  I argued with the cashier, but politely took my coupon back and walked to customer service and asked to speak with a manager.  The office cashier asked if there was anything she could help with.  I explained the situation and she refunded my .50…no questions asked!

        • momto2greatkids

    • I found a coupon for $2.00 off Viva paper towels in the September issue of All You and if your publix accepts Target coupons and you drink Diet Pepsi Target has an online printable coupon for $1.00 off Diet Pepsi 12 pack…just thought I would post this for anyone this might help!

    • Bee Good

There is an amazing deal on Hellman’s.
The mayo was $2.33 and there is a Publix coupon at the store for $1.25 off and I was able to use a manufactor’s coupon of $0.50, which was doubled. So my mayo cost $0.08. Can’t beat that.
Fabulous shopping trip at Publix. $50.00 of groceries for $10.00.

      • Earthymamablogger

the only publix store coupon I am aware of is the 1.75 off one coupon, and it does not alpply to the size on sale, it is only good on the 22oz squeeze bottle one, which is NOT bogo.

    • Kaimilani

5 off 30 coupon in Greenville SC paper today…

      • Tlcmoreland

We got ours a few weeks back here in Ga!!! LOVED them!

    • Anonymous

my publix (Hermitage tn) has several $1 off coupons near the service desk. One is for Knorr sides, that makes it free.  Also for V8 juice, if combined with others you get it free or get paid.

      • guest

the V8 is for the veggie kind not the splash which is whats on sale.

also, the knorr coupon is for 1.00 off 2. the knorrs are on sale for 1.00 each, making them .50 after the coupon…NOT FREE !

    • Anonymous

I bought a 12 pack of Buddy Fruit Squeezers for $5 tonight.  I think it may be an in-store special, it was a the Publix in Powder Springs, GA

What’s up with all of the manufacturer coupons on Target’s coupon page now??

      • january42003

Last week when I printed my Target coupons, it said Manufacturers coupon (where in the past it had been saying Target Web coupon) and then this week I printed some and it was back to saying Target Web coupons! I have no idea why it keeps changing!

    • daisy’s mom

I just left about 10 Lloyd’s Barbecue coupons at the Publix on Hwy. 96 in Murfreesboro.  They are in the kiosk as you come in the door where the sales papers are.  I bought a tub yesterday and wasn’t too crazy about it.  I guess we are used to eating homemade barbecue and store-bought just can’t compete!

    • Tina

Could someone please help explain the Stay free deal on  what Q’s to combine please?

      • Anonymous

Stayfree Maxi, 32 ct, $2.81 -FREE Carefree Pantiliner, 16-60 ct, WYB Stayfree Ultra Thin or Maxi 28 ct. + (Publix Coupon) Green Adv. Flyer -$1 off Stayfree product, SS 8/21 -.50/1 Carefree product, SS 6/26 or SS 8/21

The first one is a store coupon so it says that if you buy the stay free you get the carefree. Then you combine both manufacture coupons

SO – 1 man coupon for 1.00 off stayfree
1 Store (free) + .50 (doubles to 1.00 in most areas (not Fl))  off carefree
        2.81 -1.00-1.00(.50doubled) = .81 +free carefree pads
Remember it is okay to use a store and a manufacture for one item (Free carefree store coupon and .50 off man. coupon for carefree)

        Does that help?

    • Kawee02

I was at Publix last night and the price of the Hellman’s mayo was $4.85 ($2.42) so it is an even better deal!

      • Ashley_hairstylist

so are they letting us use the publix Q because it really does not apply to that mayo on sale just wondering because I am making my list?

    • I looked in all 8 SS from 8/21 I got, from my mom and my neighbors (different parts of town) and not one had a coupon for cat treats at all!!! Did I miss something?

      • Anonymous

Where are you?  In Atlanta there are two editions of the Sunday Atlanta Journal (Early and Final), I found out that the SS inserts for the early are slightly different from the finals.  So if all 8 of your papers are the same edition, it could be that the coupon you are looking for is in another edition….

Where is the $2 off for the Covergirl makeup coming from? Can someone help?

      • Olivia

It’s an automatic markdown. It comes off automatically when they scan it :-)

Do u know if there are some good deals. I have all the coupons for those cover girl products, except for the $5.00 off one. I am hoping to come home with some good deals tonight. I dont use cover girl, but when its this cheap…itll be good when I run out of my kind.

Spent 11.05, saved 50.88 today. Thank you to the person who left a Lloyd’s coupon at the Sugarloaf crossing Publix. At 1.74 for the BBQ, even though it doesn’t taste as good as homemade, it is great for my husband’s lunch to take to work since there aren’t any great lunchmeat coupons/deals right now.

    • Kpcponer

I don’t know if anyone’s posted this yet but in Sept All You Magazine there’s a $2 off coupon for Viva paper towels, does not specify number of rolls!!

      • Anonymous

I have that coupon from the Sept issue and is says “Six pack or larger” right under the name of product. Still works for the sale and great when you combine it with 1.50 off Target Q.

    • Taylor Tidbit

Publix “store” coupons- $1/1 V8, $2/1 GM cereal (FREE+) combine store & manuf. for the BEST savings!

      • Anonymous

The store coupons says V8 vegetable juice, not V8 splash, and the size for the cheerioes is 15.6-22.25 oz, the ones on sale are the smaller ones!

        • Anonymous

I don’t think this is the case, because I thought the size mentioned was just for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch (or whatever the last cereal listed is) because it’s only listed after that one, so I used them on the sale ones and it worked fine. Maybe it wasn’t supposed to? Or maybe YMMV?

        • Coupons4knights

I think it must depend on what cashier you get because I’ve read on several coupon sites, the same info now…some people are sliding the Publix V8 vegetable coupons, GM cereal coupons, & mayo past them…they’re taking them.  Others aren’t so lucky.  I didn’t think they’d work either so I didn’t try.  I think I might try tomorrow just to see.

          • i really hope I can get V8 juice… thanks for posting.

      • guest

yes, you need to read the size before using. the V8 is for only veggie kind, and the GM cereal is for large than what is on sale. :)

    • aooga

Today at my publix in freehome, ga there was totinos pizza rolls on sale for 3.31 each and there is a 2 off coupon in the yellow flyer making them 1.31 ea. This is not on the list but not a bad price if you like them.

      • Have you price check at Wal-mart???

      • clsmman

        The $2.00 q is for 90 ct. not 40ct.

    • Carliestamp

Anyone having any luck finding the enfamil coupon? I just found out my toddler has an milk allergy and want to get the best deal!

      • Anonymous

My daughter (who is 19 now) has had a severe dairy allergy since birth. Most Enfamil formulas are milk based. Just a question…Are you switching back to formula because of the allergy? Soy milk is a great alternative and contains no milk. My daughter has used it all her life. There are also Rice milks, ice creams etc…A butter source (I can only find this at the Food Lion here) is a squeeze called Smart Squeeze. It is dairy free, 5 calories and really good.

Good Luck! It is tough at first. I am not sure how severe your child’s allergy is, but it is surprising how many products contain milk (did you know sour candies like sour patch kids, sour gummi worms, etc…have lactose in them???) It does get easier. Your child will be reading labels and picking it up faster than you! =+)

        • Busyteacher

My son has milk allergies also and has been on almond milk….you can make it homemade yourself to save money and to stay away from sweetners

      • Arkdewitt

we are lactose free as well and good news is Silk soy milk and 8th Continent ALWAYS have great coupons out there. Right now I am getting my milk for  only $2 a gallon. If you go that route just thought I would give the heads up and good luck!

Rosecreek Publix in Woodstock GA is no longer accepting more than 1 coupon for the green/yellow advantage flyers – which is what they state at the bottom anyway. They used to allow more per customer, but apparently someone used 72 on their purchase and now they’re cracking down. Boo

      • kristen

I was there this morning and used 2 of the same q from the green flyer. I don’t understand why they can’t limit ALL of their sale items to a quantity of 10 and let us use coupons…it’s ridiculous for anyone to buy 72 of anything unless it’s special ordered

        • Special order? I’m fairly new (last month) to Q’ing. I gather that’s for bulk purchases, preventing empty shelves.  Do u call the manager?

      • Heather Williams

That really sucks that someone ruined it for all of you.

      • Pepsi1williams

come to canton ga they told me i could use 1 green adv coupon for up to 10 of the same item i love them

      • Rupadesai19

I live in woodstock they are all out green/yellow advantage flyer coupon items…

      • Anonymous

oh for goodness sake, why would a manager allow that and then punish everybody else for 1 persons overusage???

    • Mom

Publix is not taking my Target coupons anymore :(

      • Gena

        Is Target their competitor?

    • kristen

In case this helps someone… my publix let me use the $3 huggies q on overnites, even tho the q specifies “goodnites”… I’ve never tried to use it before, but decided to ask today. w/ my mf q, that was $4.50 off an $11 pk of diapers!

Found a $1/1 Lloyd’s BBQ Coupon in SS 8/28 (Tampa Region)

      • Anonymous

Yes, there is a Lloyd’s in the Atlanta Journal from last week as well!

      • not in Herald Tribune insert… this is the reason why i need to live in Tampa. There are coupons there (LOL). Thanks for posting…

    • 1990cher

If the Wheat Thins coupon is a manufacturer’s coupon but says Redeem in Hawaii does that mean I really can’t use it anywhere but in that state?

      • Ava501

Yes- I used a Miracle whip coupon a week ago that said that and it was accepted with no problems.

      • I used one like that this week @ my publix on Oscar Mayer lunch meat…  no problems!

    • mommy124

Just came from Publix (during my lunch break) and scored big!  I purchased 6 boxes of TGI Friday snacks, 4 bags of Birds Eye Steamfresh, 8 bottles of V8 splash, the penny item, 4 Bic lighters, 4 bottles of pickles, 5 bottles of Newman’s pasta sauce, 2 boxes of Cheerios, 2 bottles of Glass Plus, 6 bottles of Kraft Dressing.  All worth $128+, I paid $17.60.  Gotta love it!  I’m smiling as if I just won $1M.

    • Jnjdanh

Where can I get the Publix tearpad?

    • Anonymous

My store here in Tampa has Pepsi Buy2Get2 free. I have a Q for Buy3Get1 free manufacture. Does any one know what the brakedown would be. I know they are $4.99/12pack. Would the ring up at $4.99ea and 0 for the free or at $2.49each?

      • Anonymous

They will cost you $4.99 for all four because they are b2g2 and your coupon gives you a free one so technically your only paying for one and getting three free

      • Anonymous

        Thanks :D

      • do you happen to remember where you got the B3G1 coupon?

        • I found mine in the Orlando Sentinel in a section of the weekday newspaper.

          • Which section and which day’s paper? I get the Orlando Sentinel and if
you wouldn’t mind being a bit more specific, I would really appreciate it
            :)

    • cynthia

my publix (plantation, fl) has a tearpad for the mayo on sale!!! 1.75 off!!! making it 1.85 for two of them!!!

    • Charlean

      Pure Almond Silk original-sugarfree- $.99
      mueller pasta-$.20
      mt. olive pickels-$.40
      Wow! I was so excited.

    • Anonymous

Spent $109 and saved $189. @ Publix today. Thank you Southern Savers. Not sure how I would afford school lunches, dance and soccer without y’all :)

    • Blush at my publix is $3.59 not $2.99 =(

      • bumblesmommy

mine is also 3.59.. but i had a $2.50 off of 2 covergirl products.. which made each blush only 34 cents a piece..  there were lots of colors left at my publix.. though I find that they are all kind of sparkly/have a sheen to them.. but they are great for so cheap.

    • Michelle

If anyone has any Newmans Own pasta sauce coupons that they won’t be using I would be willing to trade for them! Email me at rwgadawg@juno.com

    • Lisa

Used a $2 off coupon from Kroger (direct mail coupon) on Cottonelle toilet paper that was already  on sale for $6.99 for 12 double rolls!

    • jenn

I found a new Toss4Cash booklet at my Publix in Athens GA tonight with a 1.50/1 for the TGI Friday’s Frozen Snacks that are BOGO this week. They were on the counter at Customer Service.

    • cynthia

The Hellmanns mayo was 5.29 at my publix!!! used two of the store coupons found in publix (1.75 off) and got 2 mayo’s (30 oz) for 1.79!!!!!

      • Coupons4knights

Surprised they let you use that coupon since it was for the 22oz (which is the squeeze) & the one on sale is the 30oz jar.

        • cynthia

really??? i thought i read the little coupon, it said it was for a 30 oz

          • cynthia

you are right!!! lol i had a young cashier and she just took them, i didnt realize it wasn’t for those lol oops

    • Missy Perry

Also on the Kraft BBQ Sauce that is B1G1, there is a dollar off coupon on the side for Kraft Salad Dressing which is also a B1G1 this week at Publix. Regular price is $3.19, B1G1 the price is $1.60 after $1.00 coupon, I only paid .60 cents. Great Deal of the day for me. Missy

    • A_g_f_2000

At my publix (alpharetta) they loaded all the cheerios on the front endcap with $2 off store Q’s that are good through 9-4. so each box would be .05, also the cafe bustelo (sp) coffee right now has $3 off peelies when you buy honey nut cheerios so you could get coffee and cereal for less than a dollar.

      • dani

you have to buy a 17 oz box. the ad was only up to 14 oz

        • bh

the 2 coupon to me reads as it applies to any cheerios cereal but specifically to cinnamon toast crunch 15.36-25 oz and specifically nature valley bars 14.8 and 17.8,cheerios size not specified

    • Target has a $1 off coupon for one 12-pack of Diet Pepsi. Will work great for the “Buy 2, Get 2 Free” deal. Just use four of them and pay $5.99 for four 12-packs.

    • Rchambers106

Target has Printable $1 off Diet Pepsi, Print 4 and get the Pepsi deal for $6

      • Dcsnyder

hey, i found this coupon too! does this mean that they all have to be diet pepsi or can i pick different kinds??

    • Albertson’s is a competitor for my Publix. The have a coupon in their ad for the Ball Park Franks, B1G2.   So if it’s BOGO at Publix…I think I can get B1G5 after all is said and done.  Has anyone tried it?

      • Jean

Yes, I have done that before.  Make sure the coupon doesn’t say “only one coupon per transaction” or anything like that and you can use two.  I didn’t receive my ad in the mail this week, so I don’t have it.

    • If you go here: http://greatdealsongreatmealsDOTcom you can get the $2 off Cheerios coupon

      • That’s incorrect, the box sizes for the $2 off coupon are not on sale this week

        • Anonymous

No it works we used them here.

          • Anonymous

Just because it works doesn’t mean it’s right.

            • Bh

the 2 coupon to me reads as it applies to any cheerios cereal but specifically to cinnamon toast crunch 15.36-25 oz and specifically nature valley bars 14.8 and 17.8,cheerios size not specified

            • Anonymous

We are reading the coupon vastly different. It says Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Multi Grain Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Reese’s Puffs, Cookie Crisp, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch (15.6-25.25oz). Thats the size range for all boxes of cereal listed not just Cinnamon Toast Crunch. That’s why Jenny did not list it in the sale.

            • cynthia

don;t get mad at each other !! :-) i think everyone is used to publix being so nice with their coupon, becuase i also used the 1.75 on hellmans, didn’t notice until later it wasn’t for the mayo on sale then i used the v8 1 off . I was in line ready to pay and the manager walked by and said i see you are getting v8, did you get the 1 off coupon we have up front? i said no and he got it for me and it worked, they love helping you save !

            • Anonymous

No anger here;-). Just tryin my best to use coupons the right way. It seems like since that stupid tv show started, we get scrutinized more and more even if we are using coupons the right way.

            • Chris

Well keep in mind if it’s their Q (a Publix store Q) then they have the right to accept it any way they see fit.  If they allow it, accept it, even promote it as they did for Cynthia above, then that’s up to them.  I’ve had quite a few instances where the Q was somewhat confusing or not entirely clear OR they had a larger size on sale than the Q specified (both store Qs and manuf Qs) and all I had to do was ask – 9 times out of 10 they let me use the Qs but YMMV.  Just ask, let them know it’s OK if they say no, and you may get further than you think.

            • Bh

Sat used the 2.00 publix cherrios coupon on the bogo cheerios this week with .50 manu each for .43 $ maker

            • Bh

I read it as the cereal with no size listed it is then applicable and the store is obviously taking it

            • Bh

just got 4 14 oz cheerios and 2 mentos and made .82 cents,(2 1.00 off 2 manu and 4 2.00 coupons from publix

    • Anonymous

Just made a second trip to Publix this week due to great new coupons on snack items.  For some reason, my coupon network coupons weren’t scanning and the cashier had to ring them up manually.  A young manager assisting cashier told him to enter four $0.50 coupons as a $2 coupon.  When I saw they wouldn’t double, he said they wouldn’t double but I told him doubling the coupon was the whole reason for using them.  I held my ground and they entered each coupon manually so it would double.  Spent $7.49 and saved $50.06!

    • Anonymous

If you printed Lloyd’s BBQ coupons earlier this week, they have reset and you can print them again.

    • Senoj704

I am trying to print coupons, but I continue to get a message indicating that I have already printed several times.  I just installed the coupon printer.

So I have tried this three times already today but used the 1/1 on Hellmann’s tear pad along with the 1.75/1 Hellmann’s publix coupon and it made my Hellmann’s a .25 money maker. I dont see why it has not been posted any sight but the publix Hellmann’s coupon says Any Hellman’s all Varieties 22oz or more. Publix manager even agreed to it I went to three differnt Publix to make sure. I have bought 22 jars of Hellmann’s today at publix BOGO with these coupons making 25 cent on every two I baught.

      • Anonymous

I just double checked and my coupons do not say 22oz or more. They just say 22oz which is not the size on sale.

        • Anonymous

We’ll I had no prblem buying 22 jars at several differnt stores

          • Coupon Dad

Wow 22 jars of mayo sounds really healthy! Good luck with that!

          • Wow, 22 Jars :) That’s GREAT your getting so much and donating some as well! Don’t worry what these “coupon police” say about it. You got 22 jars for a good cause, and my family likes mayo too, I may need to go to the store and get 23 (hee hee) jars tomorrow…

      • Anonymous

In one of thepapers I had got 1/1 tgif frozen snacks or apps really is that the same

      • Barbara

was it worth all the gas to make $2.75 and have more mayonnaise than you know what to do with.   I rarely comment but ??? really????

      • And what is the reason for 22 jars ?

        • Anonymous

Cause I like mayo I also donate to food bank at my work I go thru a jar of mayo every week or two I make a lot of sauces from it.

          • Suzy Payne

Mr_Shane, Good for you, saving money and sharing your purchase at food banks.  I’m going to do a class on couponing for my church.  We are doing a food ministry and donating food.  I feel like if we use coupons then we can donate more food, soaps, shampoos, etc.
Hey, folks don’t slam him for doing good.

      • Anita

The $1.75 off coupon says off any 22 oz. size.  Does not say 22 oz. “or more”.

        • Anonymous

It doesn’t matter the manger at publix said its any mayo any size it works I’m just trying to help people get good mayo at a good price I want try to hep anymore if I am going to get critasized ys I know I missspelled that

          • Anonymous

It does matter. People need to check with their store manager first because you are using a coupon for an item it’s not intended for.

            • Anonymous

I did. Check with the store manager and he said its for any mayo

      • Khadijagitau

I used this coupon and also the Knorr sides for 1.00/2 and there  waslso one for the Betty Crocker mashed potatoes for 1.00/1 but the Cheerios one for 2.00/1 was the best one since they are currently on sell BOGO for 3.99 making them free…

      • LOWRIDERLOVER68

I DID THE SAME THING WITH THE V-8!! IT MAKES THEM 2/.75! IT SAYS ANY V-8 VARIETY..CALLED A FEW STORES-THEY SAY YES U AN USE 2 OF THOSE TEAR PADS ON THE V-8 SPLASH(WICH IT BOGO) GOT A ME A FEW : )    IF I USED A MANU. COUP $1/2, IT WOULD BE A +.25 MONEYMAKER!  ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS OR TRY?

    • Tina M

Just came from my Publix in Jax Florida and found a new coupon book with Publix coupons….says Gameday Plays on the front.  Coupons are good until the end of September.  One coupon in there is $1.50 off any TGI Fridays frozen snacks which with the BOGO would make it .99 cents for both.

    • Melpell21

Martina, after all of my friends were receiving the mailer and I wasn’t I contacted Kroger via the 1800 # on their website.  Ever since I made the phone call, I have been receiving the home mailer.  I registered my card online, but still didn’t receive the coupons.  I would consider giving them a call and let them know you would like to receive them.  Hope this helps.

    • Kristie

Could someone tell me if the Cheeze-It Baked Crackers, 9.75-14 oz, at $4.09 ($2.04) would be included in the Kelloggs rebate?  On the rebate form, it states, “*Participating Kellogg’s® Products: Kellogg’s®, Keebler®, Sunshine®, Murray Sugar Free®, Famous Amos®, or Eggo® products (3.3 oz. or Larger, Any Flavor, Mix or Match).”  The Cheeze-It crackers are a Sunshine brand.  I was just curious.  Thanks for your help!

      • Michelle

I’m assuming it is included.  I bought my 5 for the rebate!

        • Chris

Don’t forget that the rebate form says you can get up to 5 rebates per household/address.  I already did one on the Rice Krispie Treats from the Yellow Advantage flyer and the BOGO Keebler cookies in last week’s ad.  Was thinking about doing another one on what they have this week.  Then the new ad comes out here on Thursday so if they have something else on sale you could also get another set and still do the rebate as long as you go by close of business on Friday 9/9.  Good Luck!

How much are the Johnsons baby lotion/ baby wash? any idea? is it a good stock up price with the $3/2 Publix Q and (2) $1 off MQ? Thanks!

      • CouponDad

Where do you see the $3/2 Publix Q and (2) $1 off MQ/ This sound like a decent deal but I don’t see it posted.

        • Guest

I see the $3/2 coupon on the Publix website (zipcode-33172) under coupons. Any idea about the price?

      • Anonymous

they are normally 4.69 or 4.79, with the $3/2 and (2) $1 coupons its pretty much like bogo. which isnt bad price for baby wash or lotion

        • Guest

Thanks! I was not sure if I can get a better deal than this!

in my store in fl, baby powder is 3.99 and lotion 3.99

i got some toothbrushes on clearance section today for 40 and 50 cents a piece

    • Amfdeals

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the Degree and Dove coupons mentioned from the RP 7/31 set expired 8/28.

      • mama_llama4

I believe new ones came out a week or more ago. I just used some Sunday to score free deoderant. Was my best day yet at publix! 2 degree deoderant, 6 boxes cereal, 2 bags frozen veggies, 2 jars Newmans Own pasta sauce, 4 bags cookie mix….$9.00. Yep, $9.00. Saved $48. Those $2 off Big G cereal coupons Publix issued a while back were still good through Sunday. Combined with that BOGO on cheerios, a few manufacturers q’s, I walked away a happy woman.

    • does anyone know if you have to buy all 4 of the pepsi 12 packs to get the deal or do they ring up 2.49 each?

      • Chris

The last time they did a similar deal on either Pepsi or Coke products I was told you had to buy all of them because it’s a special deal provided by that bottler – so the computer looks for all of them to be there and then will take off the correct amount (in this case will take off 2x $4.99).  Be that as it may, that doesn’t mean you can’t use Qs on them all.  I plan on using my Pepsi manuf Qs plus the Target Q so I get 4 12pks for $4 (x2 deals).  Not sure if the Q from Target can be used on anything other than Diet Pepsi though since it specifies on the Q but it could possibly be accepted for any Diet Pepsi-brand product (like Diet Mt Dew) – YMMV and I plan on finding out more tomorrow when I go.  HTH

        • Anonymous

I am confused about seeing you and others say use Target Q’s at Publix. when I checked at the Publix in Anderson, SC just a few weeks ago I was told as of 4 months ago they only accept Food Lion, Bi-Lo, and Ingles as competitor Q’s and that all Publix stores do the same, so how can you still use the ones from Target?

          • Pepsi1williams

we can still use target coupon in canton ga

          • Anonymous

Each Publix store has a black and white looking postcard that lists its store’s competitors (the other stores it will take competitor’s coupons from). Other side of the card is their coupon policy. In my area of FL, there are 5 stores within as many miles. They all take Winn Dixie, Food Lion and Whole Foods, but only one of the five takes Target.

          • Lisadingle

Whether or not they take the target coupon depends on how far away the closest target is to you…

          • Chris

As everyone says in reply, each Publix has a specific list of competitors they will accept.  If you ask at the Customer Service counter they will give you a card that shows that particular store’s competitors on one side and then the official Publix coupon policy on the other.  I have three stores all equal distance from me and each one takes something different (the only common thread is they all take Kroger) – only one of the three takes Target and one of the three takes Whole Foods and Fresh Market.  HTH

            • yeah and the one that takes target isnt really that close to target, but ill take it! and does fresh market ever issue coupons?

            • Chris

Every once in a while.  But the best Fresh Market Qs come from Recyclebank!  There is always a $5off50 Q available for 50 pts and you can order 2 per 30 days. So I order those and then use them at Publix (they have no exp date) and break my transactions up if I have more than one Q.  Can work out to be a great deal.  HTH

      • Pepsi1williams

i bought them and they all rang up 4.99 then it came off at the end so i would say all 4

      • SENOIA MOM

Lacey, You have to buy all 4. They ring up at regular price, then the discount comes off after the 4th one is rung up.

    • just to validate the coupon policy..if you buy 2 of an item can you use 1 or two $1/2 coupons

      • Chris

One since the Q applies to both items.  But keep in mind you could stack it depending on what type of Q it is.  HTH

I just need to vent ya’ll.. so I apologize for this long message!!  Does anyone here shop at the Pooler, Ga Publix?  I hate to call out a single cashier (i will leave her name out unless someone asks in case they are having a prob. similar ), but this is the second time having problems with one of them telling me I wasnt allowed to buy an item!  And also she refused to void off an item.. I wasnt doing anything “fishy” at all.. I am always very careful with using coupons, as I really dont want to fraud anyone. I bought 5 items of the same product but she would not let me use the 5th coupon.. she told me “the barcodes were the same”.. well obvioulsy they are!  on the coupon there was no wording on it like  “4 like coupons” or anything.. so i really dont know the problem with using 5.  i  hv more than 1 computer and my mom and brother send me their unused coupons so everything was legit..  and I did not wipe out any shelves at all so there should have been no reason to not ring up the other coupon.. when i asked her to just void out the 5th item then.. she refused!!   She was completely rude to me  with my husband present and he got really upset about her being mean to me and is going to call the manager tomorrow.. the other time I had problems, she also refused to sell me an item! For NO reason! She literally shoved it aside and said “i am not going to ring this up”.. I did speak to the nicest front end manager at the service desk both times.. and she told me this is not the first report on her being rude to “couponers”..  She also refused to sell me a deodorant tonight because the bar code  was missing.. why not just pricecheck instead of saying “You HAD to grab the only one without a barcode, didnt you??” with such a mean attitude.. I said “I cant buy it then?” and she told me “no”.  the service desk manager rung my product up with no problem and did not understand where these “rules” from the cashier was coming from and that they will speak to her..   I am just wondering if anyone has ever had trouble with a cashier at this publix as I am starting to feel like she must have it out for me, cause she did the same thing on both occassions (refusing to sell me an item for NO apparent reason at all)…  I didnt mean to go threw her line, but i didnt realize it was her until she started ringing me up..  ugh. thanks yall who read this.. i hate to complain.. but i know you guys will understand!

      • january42003

All I can say is, WOW! I would hope her days are numbered at that store, well, in the service/customer service industry forever!!!! She has no business dealing with customers! I would have loved to have been behind you when that happened so I could have called her out for being such a jerk! Got to stick up for the fellow (HONEST) couponers like yourself! Hope your future trips are stress free! Have a nice evening!

        • Suzy Payne

I had a very rude employee from Walgreens awhile back.  And reported him to the manager on duty that day.  She asked me to call corporate and report him.  That I wasn’t the 1st customer he was rude to.  I called and asked them to please just retrain him in customer service.  Please don’t fire him.  Jobs are too hard to come by these days.  They completely removed him from that store and replaced him in another walgreens.  I hope he has changed toward customers.

          • Chris

You have to keep in mind though that Publix’s big thing is their customer service – and they REALLY don’t like hearing about someone who got bad service.  I would suspect that person who had that attitude in Pooler will be fired soon enough.  There are lots of people who need jobs and if you don’t want to work with the public then you shouldn’t be in a job that requires good customer service skills.  Kudos to anyone who reports that cashier – they need to learn there are consequences for treating people that badly.

          • Aztecblondie

Yes, jobs are hard to come by, so the people being rude to customers need to realize they are LUCKY to have them!  Since this isn’t the only customer he’s been rude too, maybe they SHOULD fire him.  I know a few people who would be thankful for that job.

        • Anonymous

I agree with the above posts. Her treating you that way is not only uncalled for, but unprofessional. My Publix has a limit now of 10 items per “deal”, I’m assuming that’s on one visit. However, even if you were above your “limit” that the store may have set, she had no reason to be rude. That’s just terrible. If she were working at the Publix I shop, she wouldn’t be there for long. Publix has a wonderful reputation of great customer service. I’d bet she won’t be there much longer.

      • Rgtcoupons

I shop at Pooler Publix all the time and haven’t encountered her yet, but can you send me her name and description so I can stay out of her line? :) What time of day does she work? My email is rgtcoupons@gmail.com if you don’t want to post her name here….

      • Leslie

Yes, it happened to me yesterday.  She was at the very first register.  I had in my buggy 6 Knorr rice or pasta packages and 2 plastic boxes of Publix brownies.  I had 3 PUBLIX coupons for the Knorr that were buy 2 get $1.00 off.  She said you can only use one of these.  SERIOUSLY?!?  No ma’am.  The girl behind the service said, “She can use those.”  The cashier said, “Emory said, Don’t be taking all those coupons.”  I let it go because I was already frazzled, but I did say, “I guess I need to go home and check your coupon policy again.”  I did and it did say they have a right to put a limit on the number, but she is just a cashier and she shouldn’t be making decisions like that on her own.  I a

      • Vandeera

Just remeber you dont have to shop there. You have every right to leave that cart right where it sits and walk out! Let a couple of folks do that to her she’ll change her tune.

the problem is.. its the closest publix to us as we dont even live in pooler and its a drive out to that one!  so its like I would in no way waste all the gas money to just drive home… or to another town to go grocery shopping..  i understand what you mean, but its not practical for us.. yes its a drive there, but then we save sooo much money that i only have to go every once in a while..

      • Kinardklan

I had something similar happen in the Aiken, SC store. I emailed the company from the Publix home page. It seemed to help.

      • Anonymous

I am sorry that this happened to you. I can not imagine being treated that way, and really don’t know how I’d handle it, except that I would call the corporate office. In regards to your coupons having the same bar codes, were they printables? If so, are you aware of the differences, like the pin number, or the serial number, or the date and time printed? If you know what the differences are, then you can point them out to verify that they are not copied.

        • Anonymous

hey thanks for replying – i did tell the cashier about the coupons etc.. but she looked at the barcode only and shoved the 5th coupon at me..   she wouldnt listen to me at all, just continued to argue with me and my husband about not using 5 and how she wouldnt void off the 5th item..  i dont even think she knew what her end of the argument was to be honest..

      • Lisabong

the same thing happened to me at walmart, I had four internet coupons and they were all legit- 2 copies from my computer and 2 copies from a friend. They would only sell me one, said they were fraudulent coupons!  There is Nothing in walmarts policy stating only one internet coupon or any limit other than no more than 40 coupons or the computer signals an override.
SOme cashiers are just mean. Now I check out who is working before I get on that line- I try to go with the nicer ones and I even if they are a little mean I try to be super funny and nice and compliment them. I always ask them when they are off for the day and if they have been working a lot and if their feet hurt..stuff like that,,,I try to care a little about them and its funny how they suddenly decide to like me and my coupons!

        • Anonymous

I know what you mean about being super nice.. even with tough cashiers I still smile and be as friendly as possible.. I was a cashier once and understand that customers who are mean can start to tear you down.. so i always try to be polite when dealing with any person in the service industry as I have been in their shoes.

      • Calpurnia78

Also I had a similar thing happen to me at the old peachree and buford hwy pubblix in duluth. Do not go to a young male latino kind of pudgy cashier- name starts with the letter A. He is unable to deal with any coupons. He gets very flustered and lays them all out and tries to count them and then he gets even more flustered. It takes him over 30 minutes. He told me my publix coupon I got off their website was a fraudulent  photocopy and called over the manager. Then he accused me again of fraud. The manager came over and told him to take his time. She told me I had a “massive quantity of coupons”  It was a small shopping- I NEVER do massive shoppings. I have 20 items and 20 coupons ..it was hardly a massive quantity..they she apologized for that saying yes but sometimes other people have a massive quanitty and its very hard for them. I said serously he is too slow to go thru these, its absurd. At that point, 20 minutes later, he was still not done ringing me up. I got very upset and said Look you people are treating me like IM a criminal and Im just trying to save a little money for my family. I have a disabled child and things are tough …you dont need to treat me like this. It was a big scene and needless to say I have not been back in that store.

I shop there too and wondering if it’s the same cashier I have issues with, one time the cashier refused to let me in her line because it was express and I had coupons. I had less then 10 items but coupons for the items I did have.  She told me I couldn’t use coupons in the express lane.  I told her manager that I would leave my buggy full of groceries and walk out if she was ever the only cashier to check me out!  They said they would talk to her then but I haven’t seen a difference in her behavior. I will stand in line to avoid her!

        • Anonymous

Maybe it is the same woman.. why do people have problems with coupons? It’s beyond me. I wrote Publix corporate and they sent me a generic email with a “case number” for me..   if you would like to tell me your cashier’s name, you can email me at dancintoes01@hotmail.com.. and if they ever call/write back then I can tell them other people had problems with her as well.. i do not wish for someone to be fired, but she def. needs an attitude adjustment!  Have a great week!

    • january42003

Went in with my southernsavers shopping list and my coupons and spent $61.00 and saved $77.00. I was happy. :) Hope to continue doing better with my trips to Publix. Much better than when I used to shop with no coupons and just pay whatever the store wanted to charge me. Ugghh….will not go back to that ever again!

    • Laura

I learned something today I’d never heard before about scan right. I bought vitamins, the shelf tag said $6 but they rang up $10. Customer service gave me $4. I said I thought scan right means you get the item free. They said medicines/vitamins are not included (or beer, wine, tobacco). That any of those items you only get the difference and no freebies.

      • thats really not true, my mother got $60 in free vitamins because the signs in the store were wrong.
I guess it depends on who is working that day. Vitamins are not like cigarettes for crying out loud.

    • Laura

For anyone with the Soft Scrub rainchecks remember those great $1.50 coupons expire today. My store was wiped out Sat, as they have been every trip since that sale.

I’m a bit confused. One of my needed items states that there was a coupon on 8/7 in the “Target insert.” Was this in the Target Ad? Do I need to keep those? I just pull my coupons and file them. Do I need to be keeping Ads on top of it? Where do I find this?  Can I print it off somewhere? Suggestions PLEASE! Thanks. Susan

      • Aztecblondie

        Susan,
No, she is talking about a separate coupon insert that was some papers on 8/7.  My copy of the AJC did not have that insert.  I believe it was regional.  Each Sunday, I skim through the sales ads to clip any coupons, and I only keep the current week’s sales ads.  I recycle them when the new paper comes out.

        • Anonymous

Thanks for the info. I don’t feel so bad now. I am in the Atlanta area too, so I guess they weren’t in mine either.

          • I looked and looked that day for a separate target insert and didnt find anything..yesterday when I was looking for something else I came across a page Inside of the RP that had Target coupons in it! All this time I thought i didnt have it! When she said Target Insert I thought it was a separate insert. However I bought a few papers and it is not in all of them, only the one I had delivered to my home had it.

          • Mrscori2006

I also live in Atl. and the Target coupons were in my AJC that week

    • kitty

I went to Publix and got 6 bottles of Kraft salad dressing.
With BOGO, coupons, and target coupon my cost was 30 cents!

Also please tell me where to get “Peelies”    “Tear Pads”
when you mention using them for coupons. Where do I find this?
Like Pepsi soda BOGO use a peelie. Or Helmans Mayo use a tear pad?
      Thanks

      • Laceync2004

Tear pads are just the little pads of coupons attached on the shelves or displays. Some stores have certain ones and others carry very different ones so you may or may not find these in your own store. The peelies are coupons that are actually attached onto the products that just peel off.  Again this is hit or miss, some items have them and some don’t. Good luck! Hope this answered your question.

HEADS UP: RE: COVERGIRL. Though I’m having trouble finding Target insertable coupons, I did find this one and don’t see it listed. $1 off purchase of 2 CoverGirl cosmetic items. If your Publix takes Target coupons, this is a great little “add on” to the CoverGirl deal. I found it in the 7/31 Unilever Red Plum. Hope someone can use it. Expires on 9/30/11

OK, shopping is done. ROCKED Publix, Kroger AND (gasp!) Home Depot today. Total OOP $79.81 Savings (DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!) $286.45!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s THE best shop I’ve had in a LONG time. Lots of “stock up” stuff. Some food too, of course. As DH says, we can’t eat deodorant. lol ALSO took DD10 to “Justice”.  Found some 3 ring binders on sale. With the sale price and the 40% discount we had, they were about $1.09 EACH. Not too shabby. Of course, my daughter paid for these with her own money. She just had to have them. Nice to be able to get things at those “pricey” places every once in awhile. Just had to share the savings story. OH! Got home and my delicious BOGO Publix tea (I just love their sweet tea!) was not here. Just called them and I’ll pick it up tomorrow. Just love shopping at Publix!

PUBLIX new “GAMEDAY PLAYS” booklet is out. All coupons in it are Store coupons, so they can be “stacked” if mfg. coupons are available. Here is the list:
Heinz Ketchup $1 (stack that with the Heinz Ketchup q from SS 8/21 and your ketchup is FREE!!!)
      TGI Fridays Frozen Snacks $1.50
TGI Fridays Entrees for One $1
      Hidden Valley Salad Dressing $1
      Ore-Ida Family Size Potatos $2
      Bagel Bites mini $1
      Nancy’s Entree’ Quiche $1
      Heinz Homestyle Gravy & Ore-Ida Steam ‘n Mash $2
      Heinz 57 $1
Brita Pitcher and Brita Filter $5
Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce $1
      Jack Daniel’s BBQ Sauce $1
Kingsford Original Charcoal OR Kingsford Match Light $2

Another good thing about these is that, other than the gravy/steam n’ mash potatoes & the Brita , every coupon is off ONE item. Get ’em while they’re available! I found mine at the Seven Hills Publix in Dallas, GA.

      • Cqueen1

What size ketchup are you buying to get it for free? The gameday coupons say 40 oz or larger on them. There is no ketchup on sale BOGO And the 2/$4 ketchup isn’t the right size nor would it be free.

        Help me please

        • Mrscori2006

You are correct…if the gameday coupons say 40 oz. or larger you can’t use it on the
2/$4 Heinz ketchup on sale this week as they are the 32-36 oz. size. Even so, with the SS 8/21 Q, it makes them a dollar apiece which is a great price for that size and name brand to boot!

          • Cqueen1

I am sorry. I forgot most of you live where they double coupons. Here in Florida which has the largest number of Publix supermarkets in the USA they do not double coupons. They do in every other state though. Sort of stinks for us.

Would anyone have any HEINZ KETCHUP mfg coupons from the 8/21/11 SS that they are not going to use? I’m trying to stock up for a family reunion and could use extras on this one. I don’t usually ask, but I’m trying to save the family some bucks by shopping as I go and this is a deal not to be missed, if you like Heinz. Thanks for any help.

Where in atlanta can I find this coupon book gameday play?

      • Laura

They had the display board set up by the front door at my Atl store Fri, but all of the books were already gone :(
They said they don’t know if they’ll get any more. I haven’t even found the current green flyer yet, they’ve all been gone every trip. They used to always have hundreds every time I went but for the past month they never have any green or yellow any more.

        • Bbeteag

Most Publix I go to now keep the yellow and green flyers at customer service. Some people were taking huge amounts of them and there were none left for other shoppers when the flyers were left by the weekly ads..

    • January42003

Hubbie went in to check on the new coupon book (in Pelham,AL) and the manager said they won’t get it in until next week. He said that it is always showing online that they have it a week before they get it in the store. I’ll keep checking. :)

I feel very frustrated when I go onto this sight and try to find a coupon that you have listed but I am unable to find it. For example, today I looked for the Heinz Ketchup coupon in my 8/21 SS and it is not in the one that I have. Also when I shop at Publix there are several things on the list for which I go to purchase and have a coupon for only to find that it’s not on sale.

Each market is different. She lists the differences in each market each week.  It helps to print it out and put in the front of your coupons.  That way you can quickly look to see if that coupon was in your paper and you don’t have to thumb through it three or four times thinking you’ve missed it.  Also, if you consistently get a cruddy selection in your market, you might want to consider going to another town to purchase your paper… or order from a reputable coupon clipping site!  Hope this helps you keep peace of mind and not get too frustrated!

Got a rain-check on the All detergent. I want to get the free and clear and they were sold out. I have two .50 coupons which will double so I’m looking forward to getting the good deal on the two I plan on buying. Hoping for some good deals to come out on the Pillsbury products. I’ve got coupons on pancakes, crescent rolls, cinnamon rolls, etc. and I hope to stock up on these essentials at my dinner table. :) Rainy Labor Day, but had some good BBQ anyway. Thanks Dad!

My Kroger has Pillsbury biscuits, cresent rolls, etc. on sale 10 for $10 this week. It could be a regional thing, but its worth checking into. HTH

        • January42003

I WISH we had a Kroger here in Central Alabama. The closest Kroger is 84 miles away!!!! :( Yuck! My mom says there is a rumor we might get one in Central Alabama, but with the economy, who knows?! On the Iheartpublix website, their preview ad says Pillsbury products (not the pancakes) are supposed to be 10 for $10. Not sure of the validity. Waiting on Southern Savers to post the Publix ad today.

There are also a bunch of new Qs on Target’s site – including a 1.75/1 Skinny Cow candy Q.  If you can use 3 and stack it with the $1.10/3 manuf Q from Coupon Network’s site and you can get the boxes really cheap – KMart has them on sale for $2.50/ea right now so price match that at Target (or anywhere that will price match and take Target Qs) and you could get them for $0.38/ea!!

Target also has new Qs for:
BOGO Friskies Party Mix cat treats (exp 10/11)
      $1/1 Whisker Lickin’s cat treats (exp 10/11)
$1/1 Magnum 3pk ice cream bars (exp 10/8)
$0.50/1 Target Up trash bags 100ct+ (exp 10/8)
$1/3 Green Giant fresh veggie items (exp 10/8)
$2.50/5 Glade Fall Collection items (exp 10/8)
$0.75/1 Pepperidge Farm bread item (exp 10/8)
      $0.50/1 Target Up bleach 96oz+ (exp 10/8)

and more.  These are just the ones I printed.  Be sure to check it out!

      • Chris

FYI – there was a $1/1 manuf Q for Skinny Cow in the 7/31 RP that doesn’t expire until later this month or sometime next.  So that could make an even better deal and make the Skinny Cow a MM if you price match KMart then use both the manuf Q and the Target Q.  $2.50/ea price match – $1 manuf Q – $1.75 Target Q = $0.25/ea profit (or at least covers the tax and you get it completely free).

    • I am looking for the coupon for the dixie plates, but it says that it’s in the “Publix donation coupon sheet” and I have NO clue what this is, someone please help :/

      • Chris

This was a sheet of Qs available if you made a donation.  It was about a month or so ago but Jenny has it listed in case you still have the sheet (or managed to get one and just hang on to it).  HTH

Having trouble finding the Nature Made vitamins for $2.67…what specific vitamin is listed for this price?

      • adrienne

@ Britni Cress     hey:)    i think the prices vary store to store. At my publix in acworth GA the best price the i could find was $2.99 and they are always sold out. haha! but i will still keep checking. One day i will get those free+ vitamins!! :)

Cheapest I could find at my Publix was $3.99 so it varies on your region.

      • the thing is that the vitamins that are the cheapest are mostly B’s. so unless you need a ton of those, look for other good deals. For me I will get the St. John’s Wort or Ginko Biloba for like $1 each. Focus on getting stuff you need for cheap instead of what is just free.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but found new coupon book at Publix today.  “Gameday Plays” was in a display in the front of the store.  $20 of Publix STORE coupons inside!  (Including $1.50 off TGI Fridays Snacks, which makes them 49 cents this week in GA).

      • Shannon

        Coupons good thru 9/30

      • Anonymous

I got it this morning. However, I thought the same thing about the TGI Fridays snacks, but the cashier pointed out to me that the q was for the larger size. I guess I put the cart before the horse. I should learn to pay attention to the fine print. Lol. I did get me some free ketchup, so they made me feel a little better.

Hi,I am working on a program for couponing and tracking savings on a store basis/ weekly basis/ monthly basis and year to date. You will be able to enter each item and corresponding q, it will figure your qs depending on qty bought and qty of Q’s with separate store Q’s and man Q’s, it will figure reward, value after rewards, savings, and goal OOP per transaction. Being able to log multiple transactions per trip or week. It will keep a item/q qty count, let u deduct rewards and oth discounts, it will figure ur overall q savings, reward savings, total value, total OOP, and your savings percentage and allow for entering your actual amounts from your receipt after the purchase so you can tell how much you are spending over your plan. It will have areas separate ares for: pharmacies, grocery stores, superstores, general stores, dept stores, hardware stores, dining, entertainment, services, and “other” store not listed. It will figure data and savings from all the above so you can see your savings on a long term view. What I need from you….. Is there any other features you would like to see on this program?I plan to have it finished within the next month or so. You can look for it under “sherriduncan76’s couponing and savings tracker”. I will be sure to post the info for it on all the main coupling sites. Thanks for any other ideas you have, and keep an eye out for it!
