    • Meli

So happy for the Jones Dairy Farm Sausage!!!

    • Kelly

Hi, the Stocking Spree coupons says it's a manufacture coupon.

      • Jilljova77

Yes, it says manuf but has no bar code and only the publix LU# so it would be considered a store coupon.

        • SusanStauffer

I used the Oral B toothbrush coupon yesterday, as a store coupon, stacked with a man. q…no problems.

      • couponmama

But it has a LU #: on it

      • Kelly

        Thank you! I didn’t notice. :)

      • Kelly

    • RachelB27

The Perdue coupon is no longer available. Thanks for all you do every week. Your site is my favorite one to check.

    • Trish

Just a comment on the Birds Eye Vegetables at 50% off. There is or was a printable coupon for 75 cents off of three so you can get some good deals!

    • Chris

The “B1G1 Right Guard bodywash or deodorant” had an expiration date of 4/10 on it, so that would not be an option.

      • Mel

Many Publix stores will allow you to use expired coupons. They usually turn in their coupons on Saturday, so a coupon that expires sometime within that week is accepted. The coupon expiring on 4/10 should be usable at Publix up until Saturday 4/16.

        • meme

As of last week, I could use a coupon that expired within the week. I tried to get a raincheck on the right guard because they had the deo but not the body wash. I asked if they could initial the coupon so that it would be honored this week. It was “no go” on each request. Since it is a flyer ad and on-going they wouldn’t give me a raincheck and the manager also informed me they could no longer accept an expired coupon. So I lost out on that deal. Something our family needed!

Thank you for posting the coupon policy for Publix. Almost every time I go there (depending on the Manager or Cashier) I can either use 2 coupons on 1 product or 3. I always wondered what the actual policy stated.

      • KAW

        Every store is different….

    • Trish

Thanks Jenny! I printed a $1 coupon for the Wheat Thins Stix from their FB page this morning.

Awesome deal on the AMEX cards too. Will buy them for gas so that I'm paying $3.15 a gallon as opposed to $3.50. (Wow, never thought I would think $3.15 a gallon is a good deal. )

      • Lana

Triscuit has a $1/1 on their FB page also. It seems to have reset if you have printed it before. Same with the Wheat Thins stix.

    • Alooper

Can anyone tell me the zip code for the duncan hines coupon? TIA

    • Deborah

I can't find the Publix coupons, can anyone direct me? I'm looking for items that come from the ad….I'm a first time user. Debbie

      • SusanStauffer

Debbie…which specific Publix coupons are you referring to? They come from a few different sources. Several in this ad come from various booklets that Publix had/has available in the stores. Some Publix coupons can be found in their weekly sales flyer, and others in their Green Advantage Buys flyer or the Yellow Advantage Buys Flyer.

      • They will be printed inside of the ad that will be in stores tomorrow.

    • Tleopard79

Does anyone know where the $1.50 off coupon for the Welches Fruit Snacks comes from?

      • Susan

I think that might be a type-o, if not I would like to know too. There is a 50 cent coupon on their facebook page and if your store doubles it would make them $1. I did see these in Target last week in the $1 section, but were all gone this week, just a FYI.

      • keeks1485

Last week she had it listed as: -$1.50 off Welch’s Fruit snacks, 40 ct +, SS 3/20
I looked in my SS but couldn't find it.

    • Oceanbride1000

Anyone know if the Thomasville, GA Publix doubles Coupons? Wondering if it's worth it to drive across the FL/GA border.

      • The3edges

        No, they don't.

    • Brainardcoupons

Also looking for zip code for duncan hines….not showing up on mine. Thanks in advance!

      • Candis Coupons

I need the duncan hines too!

    • Dannonb94

Jenny, I remember something you posted a few weeks ago on how to save $$ on gas … do you know if any of the $5 off gift cards could be used for places with gas??

      • Dannonb94

I worded that kinda wrong … I meant, if you purchase a $25 g.card and get the $5 off …

        • LD

I know ours have the $25 gas cards. you could always do the other GC deal [4.95 activation fee] wait until it is active can take 10 min can take a day then buy gas card with it . or use it at the gas station? I think you would have to go inside to pay to use it at a staion not sure on this as I havent done that yet.

    • Laura

I can't seem to find the Target coupons for the Nabisco cookies and crackers….any suggestions on how I could find it? I clicked on the link, but it doesn't show up on the coupons. Thanks!

      • Leigh Anne

i am having the same problem! i wonder if they are no longer available.

      • Joynunez24

They're gone. Those were up last month.

Thanks! I won’t spend time looking anymore!

        • Kellymccormick94

it refers to the Smart Source coupon insert in the Sunday paper

        • Michelle

SS = SmartSource ex: 1/23 SS means the SmartSource insert in your January 23 Sunday paper. HTH!

        • Sweetbabyray07

it smart source one of the flyers that comes in the news paper. rp is red plum the other insert in the paper

        • Cissysun

I believe SS refers to the Smart Source coupon flyer and RP refers to the Red Plum coupon flyer.

        • Kat

Smart Source – coupon insert in Sunday paper

        • Gabriela

ss is refered to the smart source booklet that comes on your Sunday newspaper.

The Duncan Hines facebook page has $1.00 off the amazing glazes.

      • Dbaeimers

        Do you have a link?

        • Rebecca

Their website has a $1 off the glazes top right-hand corner. Did a google search for it and it showed up. http://www.duncanhines.com/decadent-glazes (but I don’t think they are included in the BOGO, we’ll see.)

        • Carra

Go to your facebook page and type Duncan Hines in the search field at the top. Like them and click on products on the left side. Scroll down below the list of products and you'll see the link to the coupon.

    • Stacielovescoupons

My store (Evans, Ga.) isn't allowing stacking of Stacking Spree coupons with manu q's, because the stocking spree book is manu q's and says not to be combined with other q's. :(

      • Noellebaker

that is what mine says too,but I haven't tried it yet,so guess I will see this week, better start with a few things with the stacking coupons bc if not idk if I really want the items.

      • Bauercandace

Go to the one on Fury's Ferry Road in Marinez- I was there this morning and used both. The cashier actually did question it and the manager said that it was okay because the Stocking Spree coupons had Publix look up codes, which does in fact make them store coupons so far as the computer system goes.

    • Danielleadderal

can only print the coupons and not the shopping list?

    • Gmherndon

I can't find the Target Oscar Mayer bacon or Planters nuts coupons, anyone else find them?

      • Joynunez24

I think those are already gone from Target.com. I had the bacon one a month ago which I already used :(

    • Hdvoss

Where/how do you get teh Kraft food and family booklet?

      • it was at Bi-Lo awhile back

        • Hdvoss

ok, thanks. Don't have one of those around here.

      • Joynunez24

I am wondering the same thing

    • ColaMom

The Stocking Spree Booklet has a $1 Q for Oscar Mayer Center Cut Bacon 12oz!!

Also, can we use the Planters Q's for 16-17oz. if the 8-11.5oz. sizes are on sale?

      • Queuepawn

no, if the coupon states 16-17 oz, then you can’t use it on the 8-11.5 oz sizes.

    • Angk1979

      <3!!! Have a wonderful week!!!

If the lays chips deal excludes baked, natural, light and kettle cooked, I wonder what's left to buy…

    • Flyin71443

anyone have the airwick freshmatic coupon for $4off or somewhere i can print it at?

    • newbie

      Newbie question!
Why the deal as “Yoplait Yo-Plus Yogurt, 4 pk, at $2 ($1)
-.75/2 Yo-Plus 4 pk, 32 oz yogurt or Original yogurt 4 pk, Kroger home mailer
-$1 off Yoplait Yoplus printable (makes it FREE) ”

Why $1 off coupon will make $2 product free?

      • Amy B.

The item is normally $2, but its B1G1 free… so $1 ea (or $2, $0 in Florida). Buy (2), use (2) $1 coupons, both are free!

      • Because it is only $1 . When Publix has an item B1G1 they are half price when rung up at register

      • Stacielovescoupons

They're B1G1 Free, therefore they're half price. So the $2 is what they are regular price or for 2, but they will ring up at half price ($1)!! :)

      • newbie

Guys, thanks so much for your answer.

      • Jenblair

Because they are buy one get one free, so one Yo Plus is $1.00 :-)

      • Joynunez24

It is free because it's buy one get one free. So $2 minus 2 $1 coupons=free!
        Hope that helps :)

    • JTS

Just to clarify…are the coke cans buy 3 get 1 free at $4 each?

      • Yes, thats right. So you end up paying $12 and get (4) 12 pks.

        • JTS

          Thanks Jenny!

    • April

      Hi Everyone,

I went to my local Publix in Easley, SC yesterday and bought the Muellers pasta B1G1 at $1.25. I had coupons for $1 off each box. I bought 20 boxes and this was a great money-maker. Today, my mother-in-law went to catch the last of the deal and the manager marked through her coupons and changed the amount to $0.62 each, rather than the $1. I have never had this happen – has anyone else?! Thanks so much!

      • Amy B.

Hey April, If I'm not mistaken, that $1 coupon clearly stated 1 per customer. Could be why they got picky about the overage….

        • April

Hey Amy – the one that we had said one per item, but not one per customer. That's why I'm so confused. I've never had anyone change the value of a coupon before, either. Have you? Thanks so much for replying! :)

          • Amy B.

I've had other stores (not publix) mark through a coupon. They will get reimbursed the full value if it was redeemed properly, but its up to the store whether they allow overage or not.

            • mec

If they were the printable Mueller's $1 off coupons, it clearly states one per customer on the site when you print. It is a pdf, so multiple prints are possible, but not ethical. If the manager marked through the coupon as was stated, then it seems that the manufacturer would only reimburse what was marked on the coupon.

      • alishasue

My Publix does the same thing. You can get it free but they won't take off more than the sale price.

      • CCShad

Seems like it would be okay for store to reduce the amount they double a coupon if the doubling creates overage, but in your case, the store will get back the full $1 from Muellers. I had heard that Target had a lawsuit over this same issue b/c they were making money on customer's coupons they marked down. And then WalMart's new policy will even give you cash back for overage on a coupon. I would question that policy.

        • Gail

If the store changes the amount on the face of the coupon, they will only get the “changed” amount back – at least that would be my take on it.

          • Anonymous

No, they actually get back the full amount of the coupon. There is no one at the coupon redemption place that manually goes through the coupons and sees a manager’s written note. They all go through a scanning process just like they do in a store. So it’s unethical for a store to reduce the amount of a coupon since they are in effect making money off of the consumer.

      • Tashia3378

I shop at Publix in Easley and they have never allowed overage. The way I have found to get around loosing the overage is to match my money amount of coupons to the money amount of product. Doing this keeps the computer from beeping and not allowing all coupons plus you get more of that product free.

      • Guest

I hope they weren't the printable pdf from Muellers. The Muellers policy clearly states one per customer. Even though you can print 20, it doesn't mean that you should.

    • KT

Anyone know how much the Charmin 6 roll of toilet paper is? I found a coupon (target) in RP 4/10 for $2.50 off TP and charmin's fresh mate tub, combine this with the FREE charmin fresh mate tub in the publix savings booklet, this could be a good deal??

    • Jami

When I click on both of the “printable” links for the Whiskas Temptation Cat Treats, I cannot find the coupon in either place. Does anyone know why? Thank you.

      • Jami

Also, where can i find the “Who Loves You” booklet?

        • Michelle

Should be located at your Publix, however, you can go here and print directly from Publix’s website.

          http://www.publixcampaigns.com/pet/Monthly/MAR_2011/

and you can also go to http://www.publix.com and view your weekly ad then you can click on Coupons and they are also located there. HTH!

        • Prsol

          Hi Jami,

The “Who Loves You” booklet must be gone by now. Saw it a couple of weeks ago in Publix. I'm willing to share one of mine with you. E-mail me at prsole[at]gmail[dot]com if you are interested. :-)

The printable coupons may no longer be available (Jenny explained in one of her seminars that companies offer a limited # of coupons to print. Once that # is reached, you get funny messages such as: “You already printed the number allowed” (even if you didn't even get the chance to get a copy! Hence the importance of printing your coupons as soon as they become available. If you wait too long and it's a hot item, you may not get them. :-(

          HTH

    • Kcanseco

The new publix coupons say they can't be used in conjunction with any other coupon. Are you still able to stack with a manuf. coupon?

      • anonymous

they can be used with a manf. but say you had 2 of one item that had a publix coupon for that item, you can use 2 manf.( 1 for each item) but only 1 publlix coupon, even though you have 2 items

        • karen

I have always been able to use more than 1 store if needed.

      • Momofthree

They've actually said that on all the Publix coupons I've used since I've been couponing (I started 5 mos ago). What they told me is if it has the LU# it makes it a store coupon.

    • Amandac

There is a 50 cents off coupon for ANY Duncan Hines Brownies in my SS 4/10 which means .34 cent brownies for me since my store doubles!!

    • Katie

I was just in the Publix in Lexington, SC to pick up a few things and they had signs up on all the B1G1 items. The sign stated that you get only get 5 deals or 10 items. I also talked to the lady who checked me out and she said that the coupon policy was about to get a lot more strict. She said that Publix was doing this in order to make it fair to all shoppers. Just thought I would pass this on. I shop at several different Publix stores in Columbia and this is the first time I have seen a limit on B1G1 deals.

      • CCShad

That seems like a fair policy. I don't know if I have ever bought more than 10 of one item. Well, maybe the frozen vegetables! You could always go back for more later or at another store. (I'm a former Columbia shopper now in Mt. Pleasant.)

        • Katie

I think it is fair too.

      • Gatorginger

I like that policy cause some people clear the shelves out and we always have to get a rain check and hope they restock before your coupon expires so this is a good change to me

      • Jo R

This may sound stupid- but like deals? Meaning I can only get 10 B1G1 of the same item? Or does this apply to any B1G1 deals?

        • Katie

Not stupid at all. At my store (Lexington, SC) the sign that was posted stated 5 deals/ 10 items. For example if the pasta is a B1G1 deal you can get 10 boxes of pasta which is equal to 5 B1G1 deals and then if soup is also a B1G1 deal you can get 10 cans of soup and so on. I think they are just limiting how many you can get of each B1G1 deal to make it fair to all shoppers. I hope I explained it right. I am new to couponing and shopping the sales so figure me if I am wrong. I am hoping this new policy will prevent them from being out of items when I go to shop. I will be interested to see if the other Publix stores around me implement this same policy.

          • Katie

That should be forgive. Please forgive me for using the wrong word. LOL!

    • Crystallynnlee

I don't see the Target Nabisco crackers coupon am I missing something?

      • Pmaisano1

i find i have a hard time finding some of target coupons also!

      • JoJo

It came out a few weeks ago on the Target site so I think it's reached it's print limit now.

    • O.k.

newbie question: for the wesson oil, can u use both coupons at one time? the 40cents off one and $1 off 2? i need to stock up on this product so just trying to figure out how to get it cheapest…

      • Joshuagriffing

Stacking is only good one 1 manufacture's coupon and 1 store coupon…not multiple manufacturers.

        • o.k.

          got it thanks

    • Ruff Sonia

Just got in from out of town…does anyone know if the AJC had the 35 cents off Pam cooking spray? Thanks.

      • Kristina

        Yes – I had it!

        • Ruff Sonia

          Thanks Kristina :)

      • Kimbokmk

were did you got it i got 4 paper and none of them have it ajc paper

    • I also found a pretty good deal on Claritin. There's a $7 coupon (24-count or larger) in SS 4/10 (EXP 4/17) and if you get a flyer in the pharmacy area there's a $4 store coupon (15-count or larger). I got a 30-count box that was $23.50 for $12.50.

    • Littledhines

Can somebody tell me on what pages I can find the Target Oscar Mayer Bacon and the Nabisco Cracker coupons? I don't see them when I go there??? THANKS!

      • Holiness07

I printed them out awhile back and they expire on the fifteenth so they're probably not there anymore :( your best bet would be to sign up for Jenny's email with all the new coupons that comes out and when she puts the new target ones, to print any of the high values ones out that you think you will usewhen you seen them…HTH

    • Momofthree

The 'Stock up and Save' coupon for the Quaker Chewy Granola Bars states it's for the 18 ct. box. The BOGO deal is on the 12 ct. box. So with the mfq. printable it'll make it $1. Still a good deal…just not free.

    • butterfly

anybody know if any publix stores around spartanburg area accept target coupons?

      • Sarah

        they do not. :(

      • Lana

A couple of tips for the Spartanburg area stores are-
Duncan will only allow one of each store coupon per transaction and coupon books are rarely available. They are the less coupon friendly store.

Spartanburg Eastside store allows multiple store coupons in one transaction and they keep the coupon books behind the service desk so just ask each time you go and they will hand you anything they have. They are the better store for couponing.

      • Jaimee

They don't. They accept competitors who are at least 2/3 grocery items. So if it were a Super Target, they would. Food Lion, Bi-Lo, Ingles, Walmart, Save-a-Lot… all are considered competitors : )

    • Tammyla

my counpon insert, SS 4/10, (bham, al) has a coupon for .50/1 duncan hines brownies and a coupon for free duncan hines cake mix with purchase of 2 frosting or glazes

      • CCShad

Me, too! (Charleston Post and Courier insert)

    • Debriffle

I'm not finding a lot of the Target coupons, am I doing something wrong??

      • Linda

I just went on Target.com and there were 175 coupons.

      • Jessica

The high value Target Q's don't stay on there long. Many of the ones she posted were there a couple weeks ago & are probably no longer available. (& if Jenny has already printed them, she wouldn't be able to tell if they are still there or not)

    • MT

Any one know if Publix in Goose Creek, SC will take Target coupons?

      • Boxer Mom

yes they do :) I shop that Publix all the time

        • MT

          Thanks :o)

      • KAW

they take just about every coupon….target, earth fare, whole foods, and drug store coupons. The only ones they have mentioned not taking that I heard if Toys-R-Us and World Market.

      • Sherri

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I've gotten to where I just go to Knightsville Publix, they've always taken every coupon I've ever walked through the door with and it is a lot easier than wondering if I am going to get it done this trip!

    • Tashia3378

I have a .50/1 coupon for the Reynolds Wrap from 4/10. My store doubles so it makes the wrap $1.99.

    • Gail

The Resolve $1.50 coupons are no longer available :-( That was quick!

    • BBarker

For all those encountering the “5 Deal” limit on the BOGOs… The limit came down from Corporate after a lady in Central Florida tried to “special order” 360 bags of the dog food that was BOGO last week. She was insistent that the order arrive during the Sale period and that the BOGO price be honored. The size of the order and the fact that the lady was placing the order on the Monday BEFORE the weekly ad was released to the public turned heads all the way up to the executive level. As my favorite actor would say, “What a maroon!”

      • Ugh!

      • Carra

We've had a 4 deal limit (meaning 8 total items) on our BOGOs for about a year now. It has definitely stopped the shelf clearing that went on before that. And, really, do you need more than 8?

      • Lfleming67

Hopefully this will cut down on all of the selfish couponers. It is RARE that I get any of the 'freebies' because the shelves have always been cleared before I get there.

        • Spraymom

Me too !!! It's people like that that are going to ruin it for all of us eventually I think!! If it gets too bad they will just stop doubling coupons to put an end to it…..

      • Why was she a Maroon? A Lot of people ordered Dog food, “To ensure no self clearing” And we all knew about the Sale 5 weeks in advance… Not trying to start anything but I doubt this woman was reason they started doing this. I don't mind the limit I have plenty of publix stores surrounding me and never get more then 6 Items anyway (I get 6 papers a week) But I don't think she was a the whole reason… Most likley it was Self clearers that did this… just my opinion :)

        • Jessmender

How did you know about the sale 5 weeks in advance?

          • It was posted on this site by Jenny. Look under Publix and go a couple pages into the headings and you will see it. Something like Future deal at publix.

      • Sis2

The “reason” you mentioned just sounds like a rumor to me. I “special ordered” (not sure why that was in quotes) 24 bags of the dog food myself. My grocery manager (and I am sure others in this position) prefer to have special orders rather than people that go in and buy large quantities and clear the shelves. That causes Publix to have to issue rainchecks which actually cost them money after the sale week since the manufacturer doesn’t give them rebates on quantities sold outside of the sales period. In speaking with my grocery manager, I found that he goes to this website as well as a few others to see trends in coupons to help him order appropriately. The grocery manager at my store in GA mentioned that one lady here had preordered 50 cases, which is 300 bags, so I don’t think the “Central Florida lady” is alone in preordering a large quantity of that item.

I think limits are fine and am happy to abide by them although I rarely buy more than 4 of anything (small family). People that want more than the 5 limit deal will probably just shop at multiple stores and get 10 at each store.

    • Krystle_bolton

Is it really true that Publix takes Target coupons???

      • Linda

        Yes they do!!

      • Covalle86

My Publix in North Palm Beach, FL does

      • Carra

Some stores do, some don't. Check with yours first!

      • Jenn

        Mine does not in SC

      • VirtualWAHM77

Publix in Coral Springs, FL told me know last night :-( I'm going to ask someone else. She told me Albertsons, Winn Dixie, and any other grocery store but not Target.

        • VirtualWAHM77

Publix in Coral Springs, FL told me know “no” (sorry) last night :-(

      • Shortchikk

It depends on whether or not there is a Super Target nearby. My Publix in Spring Hill, TN has a Super Target and will accept their Q's, but the one in Cool Springs only has a regular Target, and they will not accept Target Q's.

      • Miracle

My Publix takes Target coupons! And we don't even have a SuperTarget… just a normal one and it's the only target in the area… probably 5 miles from the 2 Publixs I go to.

        • Lydiainflorida

The Publix that closest to the Super Target which is less than 1 mile down the road in Miramar does not. They only consider true grocery stores competitors.

    • Tille

Can someone give me a deal scenario for the cake mix and various coupons available? My brain is fried from work today and I am trying to make my list. Thanks in advance for the help!

    • Peggy

I don't have a problem with the new 5 deal limit at Publix. I would much rather they implement that policy than do away with double couponing!

      • Tjmj9801

        What? When was this announced?

        • Peggy

The Lexington, SC store put up signs.

      • Spraymom

Me too !! If they stop doubling it would hardly be worth doing anymore…..the new limit makes me happy because of the people who go in and get 50 of everything and make it where if you are not there when the door opens on
Wed morning you can't get any of it at all…apparently they haven't listened at the workshops….. now it's much less stressful to get there and still have something left on the shelf….

    • Red

Can somene tell me where to find the One Stop One Store Booklet…..Thanks!!

      • Mwells4

Try the customer service desk. If you don't see them ask. At my Publix they sometimes keep the booklets behind the counter because of the hoarders. They may be out by now. The booklets usually go pretty fast.

    • megsc

Can anyone else find the lays coupon in SS 3/13?

      • Guest

        Yes, Greenville News has it.

      • Tcolley

        My birmingham news didn't

        • amy

I just cut it out of the Birmingham News. It’s kind of hard to pick it out because there is not a picture of the product on the coupon, but it was there :)

    • Kellymccormick94

can anyone tell me if the publix stocking spree booklet is still available?

      • Lana

        It is not.

      • tarabj

It was mailed to my home.

    • Ml

i really like shopping at publix i have been couponing there for about 6months now but they seem to be getting so rude about it now not sure what to do about it they make me feel like i`am doing something wrong lately just dont want to give up my publix shopping very disapointed :(

      • Which Store is it, Because I think the Mauldin SC Publix has some of the rudest Cashiers of all store out there… But the Five forks SC one is Wonderful

        • Ml

it was winder,ga think i just might look for another one just sad:(

          • guest

I had problems with the one in Bethlehem.

          • S Raquelw

Hi I am a very avid couponer, I live in Jefferson, right by winder, Thee is a Publix right by my house. I do not have any trouble there :) The only problems I have had is them not having the product that I want, In that case I just get a rain check and get what I want for the sale price next week, I hope this helps. Oh and I am pretty sure the publix I go to is listed as being in Houschton (<— not sure if I spelled that right ). Again I hope this helps :)

          • Amanda Carlton

We constantly go to the Bethlehem, GA Publix. Its much newer and almost always have everything we are looking for.

        • Kathryn

The Greenville Publix by Cherrydale is extremely nice!

        • I agree completely! But I have also noticed that a bunch of the stores in Mauldin tend to have rude employees… Pelham Rd is another really good one.

      • meme

Find a store that has a nice staff. It is worth it. I have health problems and the last time I was in Publix in Anderson, SC the cashier noticed I was in pain. She told me any time I am having trouble to come to the front and let one of the staff members push the cart and help me do my shopping. I couldn't believe my ears. I will certainly take them up on this at times. I have cancelled shopping trips because by the time I get my list and coupons together I am too tired to do the actual shopping. It will make all the difference in the world to me. Bye, Bye, Bilo!

        • hb

oh, aren’t they GREAT? Mine did the same thing when I was hugely pregnant and on partial bedrest & had to use one of those little motorized carts to get around (because I was on limited walking) – I saved my “up” time once a week just to be able to get out of the house and take my “publix vacation”. I even put on lipstick, lol. Since I went on the same day I usually got the same woman & she and I became friends & now she tells my kids that “she knew them before they were born!” I LOVE my publix & the people who work there! (And no, their coupon policies aren’t the most liberal – no doubling, no drugstores, limited competitors – but I don’t care because it’s such a pleasure to shop there!)

    • Ghaney85

On the Thermacare and Advil deal, the manufacturers coupon says not valid in connection with any other offer. Does that mean that you cannot stack it with the in-store coupon?

      • kristenk

i've used them two separate times at my publix w/o a problem… a lot of the time it depends on how carefully the cashier reads the coupon!

      • karen

You can stack it, because the store allows you to stack it.

    • Niroc23

Stocking Spree Booklet also has $1 q on Oscar Mayer Center Cut Bacon 12oz.

      • jen2525

Wher can you get Stocking Spree Booklets??

        • Amy

Had to request it by mail a about a month ago, I think they stopped it.

    • Jajohnson0527

Does anyone know if you can freeze sour cream and it keep?

      • Jmanley521

On the container that I have it says” Do Not Freeze”. Not sure why.

      • Guest

I work in a school and we can't freeze it (we freeze cheese, cream cheese and yogurt). The cultures in the sour cream won't let it reconstitute correctly. It ends up being really runny and turns the flavor. If you want to substitute something, thawed frozen yogurt does really well. HTH!

        • LylithC

I called my sister in England to ask her about freezing stuff–mainly dairy products–and now my freezer is full of shredded cheese, milk & those cooking cremes.

      • Prsol

The texture changes once you thaw. :-(

The flavor remains the same. It's OK if you are planning on using it for baking.
Not so good if you need to make a dip with it… :-(

    • Danielsmom111407

Yes you can freeze sourcream but it is better if you do that you cook with it cream cheese is the same way they seem kind of watery after freezing but does fine for casseroles and such

    • Cheermom1227

The resolve spray and wash 1.50 printable is not accurate. When you click on you link and go to the site it says there are no coupons available.

    • LM

Is anyone having a problem with using the “Stocking Spree” Publix coupons with Manufacturer's coupons? I called my local Publix and they said that they say “MFR CPN” on them so you can not stack them….

      • Cheers2ublue

        Mine let me stack them

      • Srhine85

they have LU numbers on them, so they are store coupons.

      • PSLisa

I used a few last night. I asked about them at customer service. They told me the stocking spree coupons are 'manufacturer store' coupons. On the receipt, they came up as 'store coupon'. At my store, you can not stack them.

        • PSLisa

To clarify on my post–on my receipt showing the coupons, it lists the stocking spree coupons as 'vendor coupon' but at the bottom of the receipt under 'Savings Summary' it says 'Store Coupon'. (there is a seperate total for 'Vendor Coupon' under 'Savings Summary')
I believe they will start putting 'manufacturers coupon' on all of their 'store coupons' so they can no longer be stacked.

          • Jessmender

Why should they care if you stack a store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon? It seems like if there is a store coupon, then the store would pay for that amount of the item, but if it is a manufacturer coupon the manufacturer would pay for part of the purchase price, so it would be to their advantage to take both if there is a store coupon being used.

            • PSLisa

I don't know. My Publix told me the stocking spree coupons are 'manufacturer store' coupons. They would not let me stack them.

            • LD

My stocking spree coupons have a LU# so hope they are store coupons. As the ones at the cooking with kraft site now have retailer coupon [on top] with a bar code. The manager at my store said if it is a reuglar bar code it is manuf. regardless of what it says on top . And if it has LU # it is a publix coupon. Wonder what they will say this time . Ugg I dont mind what they do except when they change it on me week to week. It is a lot of work to get this list and coupons together .

            • LD

Has anyone found the Dunkin Hines coupon yet? Can't find the right zipcode….

      • Candi

I found the Duncan Hines coupon in my SS 4/10.

      • Twinmomaaa

I'm referring to the $1.25 off coupon

    • Sanchionipa

Ok im new at this! I understand my first step is to go to the store I shop at check the items im wanting to get then In my sunday paper I find the coupons for that item? Is that correct? Then I notice on the weekly ad list it has the item and it has a m for merchandiser coupon and one for a printable. Now the manufacturing coupon will be in the newspaper correct? The printable one I been having trouble it will either send me to that manufactors website or just nothing. Anyone who can help me with the process of couponing write back to me thank you so much. I do understand the basics of it by going to store ad clicking on the items and putting coupons when i do get them in order by date but thats all. Thanks for the help

      • Jennybell323

When a link sends you to a website, look for special offers on that site. Usually you can find a coupon. You may have to sign up to be on that company's mailing list to receive the coupon. Both the printables and the coupons in the paper are generally manufacturers coupons. You can use one or the other per item. When the coupon link Jenny puts up has SS by it, it means look in the Smart Source insert for that date's paper. RP means to look in the Red Plum insert, and PG means Procter $ Gamble. Hope that helps!

      • CCShad

You may want to check out Jenny's 'Learn to Coupon' section at the top of the page. There is a system to collecting coupon inserts from every Sunday paper and referring back to them as needed. Another main point is to stock up on items when they are at lowest price using coupons. Good luck couponing – it is awesome! I spent $35 today at Publix for $145 worth of groceries.

      • Anonymous

Another tip is to make sure you have the coupon printer installed on your computer. Printable coupons won’t print without it.

    • brooke249

Anyone see the Martha White coffee cake coupon?? What zip code??

      • Dana

I just printed it off of 33233.

        • Gail

I got it yesterday at 32607

    • Danaldrman

I only have a tg lee coupon. Let me know!

      • Gatorginger

I would love to have your target coupon booklet contact me at Gatorginger@aol.com

    • lauren

There is a $1 man. coupon for the wheat thin stix on Wheat Thins facebook page.. Just “like” wheat thins and the coupon will be on there… It's a bricks so you can get two!

      • Dionne014

It says on the fb link limit one per customer. I know I can print a second, but is that ethical? Or is it ok if I count my husband as a separate customer and print one off his fb?

    • anh

Could someone explain how the Trident gum will ring out using the store and manu BOGO coupons? How will this be free? Dumb question??? :)

      • karen

The stores has a coupon b1g1, so get two, and the store pays for one. and for the same 2 you will be using a mfr coupon covering the other one. hth

      • savin4morefamily

They will both be free. I've gotten 3 or 4 from my store now with no problem.

    • Sweet_polly77

Can I buy two Air Wick freshmatic refills and use a $2 off 2 Q and B1G1 Q? If so, it would make it .99 each…..

      • karen

No, because the $2 is off 2, when you buy b1g1 coupon you are already using 1 mfr coupon, so in order to use another coupon it has to be $ off 1. You can use (2) b1g1 and 1 $2 off 2

    • Mjwards

thank goodness for b1gi pop tarts:) My kids love these, but we don't eat them if they are not on sale:) Lol. Anyone happen to know how many weeks these cycle through at b1g1? It seems like its been forever since they've been on sale at b1g1…and I don't keep a spreadsheet. Thanks!

      • Mhmazzoli

Is this a good deal on the poptarts? I thought it was but I am still new to all this.

        • momto3girls

Yes, this is a good deal on poptarts! The cheapest I have EVER gotten them at Publix was around $.70/ box. Make sure you stock up, because they don't go BOGO very often!:)

      • Jennybell323

It's been around 12 weeks since they were bogo. Buy a bunch! One of every flavor!

      • Abcismyhrt

If you use Target coupons at your Publix- check your inserts. I have save$1.00 when you buy 3 poptarts that is a Target coupon. Will go really well with the Kelloggs coupon

        • Aven

Do you remember the date of the insert?

        • Aven

Just found it in the RP 3/6. It is for 12-count, not 8-count.

    • Morrisjac7

I was told at my Publix last week the company is not accepting Target coupons anymore. Store manager said they will be posting a new policy to accept competitor coupons withing a radius of your local store. If a Target is nearby they would accept them.

      • NicoleRobertsonPhotography

It depends on the store manager here in Birmingham. If I have a bunch of Target coupons, I will drive to our other Publix who takes them.

        • Gail

Most of my Px stores here in Florida do not accept Target qs, but I went to one last night that always does. That's why I keep shopping at THAT Px.

          • Gatorginger

Where are you located Gail, my publix here in Florida takes Target coupons, I'm from Ocala and the store I shop at is Pearl Brittan

      • My favorite local Publix still takes them. One day I went to a different store that's also close by and they don't. They won't have my business then! I love my favorite Publix. (S Cobb Drive near 285 for you Smyrna GA folks). They even accept expired coupons up to one week past the date. Shop around for another store :-)

      • Lara

What is crazy is that at our store in Clay, AL will take Target but not Walgreens or CVS which are both MUCH closer to them than the closest Target. I love that they take Publix so I am so grateful for that but would be nice if they would consider the others since they carry the same products!

        • Dwashburn9

I called the Publix in Clay, and one of their “competitors” is also Whole Foods. Isn't that really far away?

        • Kaylyne

CVS and Walgreens are not considered competitors because they are Drug stores

      • Newyorkdawn

Our Prattville store no longer takes Target couons either but they do take Winn-Dixie coupons! =)

    • There is another Alexia $1.00 off any Frozen Product coupon printable if you sign up on their website. This differs from the one on facebook, so you can have the potential to get (4) $1.00 mq's versus the normal 2 per IP address.

    • jenniferbjensen

How do you know about ads 5 weeks in advance?

    • Aljatcu2002

Does anyone know if Publix will accept a competitor's catalina for a free product? I received one from Ingles for free toilet paper but I don't want to stop there if I can use it at Publix today when I go shopping. Thanks.

      • Kimbrelltravels

They should take it. I've found that Publix is the best about taking any coupons!

      • I just used a “free Southern Home eggs” catalina from Bi-Lo last week and asked them if it was ok and they said yes for the Publix brand eggs :)

        • Elyn

Darn, I had this coupon and didn’t even think about trying to use it at Publix today. But I did use a few other Bi-Lo catalinas.

    • Kimbrelltravels

At my Publix in Charleston, SC there were no coupons on the French's Spicy Brown Mustard. FYI.

    • emj

There's a $0.50/1 package of Welch’s Fruit Snacks or Fruit ‘N Yogurt Snacks on their Facebook page if you Like them!

    • Bridget

I noticed that Publix charges tax on coupons. I used a raincheck for the 4 lb. Kibbles and Bits with my $2 off coupon, it was a B1G1. My subtotal was .50 and the tax was .25. I didn't expect that. I looked at another reciept from them and sure enough tax was added to my coupons then too. I will have to ask them about that. Has anyone noticed this as well?

      • Tophatl@yahoo.com

Yes I've notice it and spoke to them at ou local store. And it was a confusing conversation. They tried to assure me that ALL stores charge double tax,( tax on item and tax on coupon ) So I pulled the Wal-mart and Bi-lo reciepts out and asked them to show me and help me understand the manager said i was being difficult. I just needed someone to explain how this store was doing tax this way and i wasn't seeing it on my other stores receipts.

        • Cayoung_8

The way that I understand this to work for couponing (coupons state that you have to pay tax) You pay tax on the total before coupons. For example: If you buy a product for 3.00 and tax is 7 percent where you live then tax on that purchase is 21 cents. If you then have a 2 dollar off coupon for that product. It makes your subtotal 1.00 but your tax will still be .21 cents. So your total would be 1.21. Hope this helps. A lot of times almost all of what I pay on my bill is tax. You can't beat uncle sam!

      • There is probably not double tax. In SC, we always pay tax on our pre-coupon total, so for a 2.50 non-food purchase it would be 2.50 X 1.06 = 2.65 – 2.00 coupon = .65.

        • Sb

In Georgia we are taxed on our pre-coupon total as well.

      • Lizz

I am not aware of any taxes on coupons here in tallahassee FL,
in fact we never have tax on food items, i've noticed. lucky me I guess.
then again Fl also does not double coupons. So it's lost change one way or another.

    • Bayandtaysmom

Am I crazy…where do you get the Publix Stocking Spree Booklet???

      • Lara

It was a booklet we signed up for several weeks ago and it was mailed to your home. Sorry you missed it! :/

        • Acarter

when will there be another opportunity for a booklet like that?

        • Bayandtaysmom

Thank you…I hate I missed it too!!!

      • Angie

I signed me and my mom up and never got our booklet :(

    • Crystalkell

Does anyone know of a Publix in Jacksonville, FL that doubles coupons? I always do great at mine, but they don't double. I'd definitely drive a little farther if I found one that did!

      • Phatpatswife

        Florida stores do not double.

        • Crystalkell

Poo. Oh well, I still love Publix anyway! I have many friends/family that now want me to start showing them how to coupon, and I always refer them to this site when I show them!

    • Julieshields

The Publix Stocking Spree booklet coupons all say “Manufacturers Coupon” on them, so I don't think we can stack them.

      • PSLisa

That was my experience last night using the 'stocking spree' coupons.
I think they will start doing this on all of their 'store coupons'.
Customer service told me they were 'manufacturer store' coupons. What in the heck is that?

      • Lara

they have the lu# on the back so you actually can. I know it's confusing but I stacked the crest one at my store last night and had no problem! It saying 'manufacturer coupon' does seem weird but it isn't barcoded so you can.

        • couponmama

I used mine this morning for the Quaker Chewy bars… they worked beautifully with no question.

      • S_likins

I have never had a problem with these before, but last night they wouldn't let me for the first time. I was really disappointed, I hadn't even noticed that they were MQ's. Anyone know what the actual policy is on these?

    • Tamma

There is a .75 coupon on the inside of the Mr. Olive pickle packs. If you have some on the shelf from a previous BYGO then open them up and save more this week!

    • LylithC

Could someone please please please send me a One Stop One Shop coupon book? My Publix never has any of the coupons books that Jenny has listed & when I ask about them not even the manager has an idea about what I am talking about!
      lylithcarraway@yahoo.com

      • Amy

Not sure where you are but they had plenty of them at the Pelham Alabama publix just off the interstate Monday. The Calera store never even got them

        • Rebeccauwf

We are going to Oak Mt. for Spring Break and I love coupon shopping at Publix in Florida. Which Pelham store is best for coupons? Thanks!

      • Lara

They aren't booklets you pick upin store – they were ones you registered for online and were mailed to your house.

        • Lara

Sorry I misred that Lylith- ignore my last comment! Sorry~!

      • Marina115

Email corporate and tell them your store never gets the coupon booklets. They will send them to you in the mail.

    • Tamma

That would be the Mt. Olive pickle packs have the .75 coupon inside…sorry the r is right next to the t!!

    • Leanne

I'm new to couponing and had a very disappointing shopping trip to Publix this morning. The closest Publix to me is about 10 miles away, but I thought it was worth the trip. For starters, the store didn't advertise in the store many of the deals in the weekly add which made things quite confusing. The shelves were empty of several items I was looking for and then my cashier scrutinized every coupon I had, questioned whether or not I had actually purchased items and wouldn't let me use the $5 off $25 Save a Lot coupon or my $5 off Thermacare/Advil coupon.

Do these things occur often or did I just have rotten luck today?

      • ireneY

Sorry you had a hard time. :(

Sounds like you don't visit that store often, so you wouldn't know which cashiers are friendly. It takes several visits before finding a friendly face. The checkout process is a huge part of the couponing experience.

Stick with it and you'll find your groove!

      • Ariannadesigns

        rotten luck today.
Try to go to the younger cashiers….they seem more in tune, believe it or not. also, just go to customer service and asked what competitors coupons they accept. Mine doesnt accept certain stores. If the sale started the day you went, yes, lots of the sale signs arent up quite yet. Mine are usually in there putting up sale signs that day ;) Ask the desk too what days shipments come in on and that will help you determine when to go. ex. ours…toilettries come on a different day than paper products. Dont dispair….it is all worth it when you iron all this out. good luck

        • KAW

I totally agree about the young cashiers…..there are many I avoid – mostly the older ladies. There is one not so old, but I learned the hard way to avoid her. The other day I was staning in line and the manager waived me to an open line…..I tiptoed to see who was working and it was her…I shook my head 'no'….I would rather just wait than be treated rudely.

      • Amy

This must have been the calera store lol. Ran into the same problem

      • Linda

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I have been couponing for a couple years now and I had to find out which Publix in my area was the friendliest to couponers, and also which cashiers to avoid. I have found, however, that the majority of store managers are very cooperative and willing to answer questions, so never be afraid to ask the cashier to hold the items in question, take your coupons to customer service and ask to speak with a manager. The manager's never want to lose a good customer, even if they are religious couponers. I have found it is not worth it to argue with the cashiers (I've seen couponers do this) and I think it makes cashiers have an unfaviorable opinion of people who are saving money for their families. I have saved thousands of $ couponing over the last couple years, and because of that, my husband and I were able to add to our family this year! Don't give up on being a smart consumer because a cashier made you feel like you were in the wrong.

      • Jennybpage

sounds like terrible luck to me. all publix that I know of, accept competitors coupons…..except drug stores. try again.

      • KAW

You need to speak to the manager. Don't know where you live, but my Publix takes all coupons…even drug store coupons. If you are new to this store, you will figure out which cashiers to avoid in time.

      • Leanne

I'm in Augusta, GA. Can someone in the area tell me which Publix is the best for coupons?

        • Bauercandace

I love my Publix on Fury’s Ferry Road! Very coupon friendly, and just great in general! A word of advice, though- get to know your cashiers. There are one or two that I won’t go through the line with even if I have to wait a while.

      • LD

It sounds like a little of both. It is best to find out from the customer service desk before you shop wich stores they consider competitors. maybe not savealot . As for the $5 off thermacare advil not sure why she would not let u use it unless you did not buy 2. If you did take your recipet and the coupon next time you go back go to the service desk and ask for it refunded and LTk what she said. As for shelves being empty you could get a rain check for that item . Or if possible go on a diffrent day than first day of the ad. They may get more trucks in on Thur fri or what ever day in your area. I hate it when cleared shelves happen. I find the first day of the sale here that is par for the course. So most of the time I go on a diffrent day, just making sure it is not right at the end of the sale. As for the deals not being advertised , were they on sale in your area or the store just did not have them marked? Each area will differ on what is on sale. It is best to go straight to publix web site and pull up your ad before you go to be sure what is on sale in your area. If it is the store not marking the sales and being that bad with coupons , i dont think I would shop it often. Sounds like a rare but bad Publix if that is the case.

      • msbscandles

I used mine last night. I used both the manufacturer’s $5 and Publix $5. Total came out to $1.39. (I bought 2 sets.) I had to dig for the Advil that had 50% more in a package (towards the back of the shelf) to reach the 24 count on the coupon. Sorry you had such a hard time. It does get easier the more you do it.

    • There is a $7 off Claritin coupon in my inserts this week. It expires 04/17/11. Stack with the $4 off Green Advantage coupon and it's $12 off!!! That's great for us allergy sufferers.

      • MsBsCandles

I used it last night on both the adult(30 pack) and kids (2 sets of both coupons). The original price was $19.99. After coupons – $8.99. Great price considering they want to charge you a buck a pill.

    • Amy

Went by Publix in Calera this morning. They had one of the coupon vending machines with the shredded cheese for 1.00 off kraft with touch of philly. On sale for 3/5.00 or 1.67 each with 1.00 off makes them .67.

    • Dtrolen

what zip to find the $1 off ritz pretzels

    • Jessmender

Has anyone had any problems using the Martha White coffee cake coupon? The yellow ad says that it's muffin mix that's on sale. Thanks!

      • Swappin' Spoons

        That coupon will work :)

        • Morgan

Just because it works doesn't mean you should use it. It is not for the correct item. Period. Please stop encouraging unethical coupon use.

          • Sara

I was wondering why Jenny is listing it? That is not her usual way.

Another fyi about the muffin mix deal is that the cornbread/muffin mix is not part of the sale. It rang up $0.89 instead of the sales price, but the blinkie $.55/2 coupon worked fine and it was only 9 cents more, so not that big of a deal (even though it says it is “muffin mix”)

            • Jessmender

Jenny probably just made a mistake. She has a lot of coupons to keep up with, you know :-)

        • Sis2

The coffe cake wasn't part of the sale at my Publix, so of course I didn't use it. Swappin' Spoons Publix must have had the coffee cake included in the sale, otherwise I'm sure she wouldn't have misused the coupon.

          • Guest

There's no way the coffee cake was included. It's typically $3-$3.50 whereas the muffin mix is typically $1.25.

      • Jessmender

Thanks for everyone's responses. I won't be using it if the coffee cake is not on sale at my Publix (which it sounds like it won't be) – I am a very strong proponent of ethical coupon use – that's why I asked :-)

    • Hdvoss

Is there a way for me to veiw/print from the yellow advantage ad from home? Wanting to have all my coupons from it in hand before I go to the store. Thanks.

    • Amy

I found the 16 oz bottle of vinegar for $1 at my local publix today — FREE with 50 cent coupon that was just out to print.

      • Marina115

They were 2 for $2 in Woodstock, GA too! Got 2 free bottles on Monday.

    • Amyzills

Publix has Lechera sweetmilk bobo with -.55 peelies on them

    • JennieRae

another quick question: i am trying to click on the word 'printable' to print coupons and keep getting messages that i've already printed the maximum number allowed, but i haven't printed any…does anyone have any suggestions? i am doing this from my Mac, sould that be why? i don't know :o

      • KAW

The ones you are trying to get are probably already gone. They only allow so many prints and then everyone else gets that message.

    • Newyorkdawn

Our Publix had a $1.00 off coupon for two cans of the Tutturooso tomatoes that are buy one get one free. Actual price of one can is $1.89 so I got two cans for $.89 per coupon! Awesome deal!!

    • KT

How does the Duncan Hines cake mix and frosting deal work? There are so many coupons for each, I am getting confused…lol. Thx!

      • Sara

was it a tearpad or a booklet, etc? thanks

        • Sara

oops…..meant to reply to newyorkdawn below

    • Carol0202

i cant find the target coupon for 1.00 off helmans

    • karen

Could anyone tell me if Publix will accept the 5/25 Dollar General Q? Also, which Publix in the Columbia, SC area is most q friendly? Thanks!

      • Missi

        Yes! Well, Georgia does!

        • Legs

Actually it depends on what stores are around the Publix you're shopping at. The 2 near my house in Dallas, Ga don't but the one in Cobb (1.5 miles further) does. If you look on Publix's web site it will explain what coupons they will & will not take as well as how many printable coupons you can use. Basically its at each stores descretion… Hope this helps

      • scarieusc

I love the Harbison store. They don't take Target coupons though. Last time when I asked, they said they didn't consider Target a competitor.

      • Rainbowtp

I know they stopped taking them at the Summerville SC store 1.5 months ago.

    • Kimee

Oh darn..my Lay's coupons wont be in on time to stack with the yellow adv flyer that exp 4/15. I hope a competitor coupon will pop up after 4/15.

      • helper

I think there is a lays coupon in the walgreens booklet if your store considers walgreens a competitor

        • Gatorginger

But she already is using the publix coupon so she can't use another competitor coupon she needs a manufacture one

          • cassia2

Depends on the store. I've had at least one store tell me I could use up to 3 coupons on an item – Publix, competitor, manufacturer.

    • Guest

I have a question about the Poptarts. It is BOGO, but the coupon I have is 1.00 off when you buy 3, so I am not sure how many to buy. Could someone please explain this to me, Please? I am new to coupons. Thank you!

      • Jessica

If you are in an area that does 1/2 price BOGO sales (each item rings up 1/2 price) then you can purchase 3.
If you are in true BOGO area (1st item rings full price, 2nd item rings free) you will need to buy in multiples of 2. If you have 2 coupons, you can buy 6 & use both coupons. If you only have 1 coupon, buy 4 boxes.

        • Guest

          Thank you.

    • kristenk

      RP 3/6 has target q's $1/3 12 ct pop tarts and $1/3 kellogg's cereals

      • Jmruban

but the sale is for 8 ct.

    • julie mars

Home Solutions news/e-centives printable coupons haven't worked for me for the past two days, is anyone else having this issue?

      • Sandy

Me! Tried Internet explorer and firefox

      • Suzanne

When you get the “We're sorry” messge, click on the site map on the top right, then click on promotions (I think), it will ask for you to sign up again but then will let you print. I sign up with the same info as before and it works.

    • Angie

I never got the Stocking Spree Booklet i signed up for from publix :( bummer i wanted free granola bars :(

      • CCShad

Don't worry – the Stocking Spree coupon does not match the sale granola bars anyway!

    • Queenjj

Slam Dunk $10/$30 deal expired on 4/9 however the coupons are still good until 4/16.

    • Coupons4tamarajoy

Can someone help me with the area code for the Smart Balance coupon?

      • Christina

Jenny didnt post it but the smart balance coupon is also in the SS 4/10 if you cant get it to print.

    • CCShad

The $10 off $50 Amex deal is a good money maker – don't let the $4.95 activation fee scare you off! The best part is that you do not have to buy a certain amount of groceries to use the coupon. I walked in and bought four $50 Amex Gift cards for $176.40 – that is a savings of $23.60! (For some reason, they took off $3.40 for local tax, so the price was lower than I expected) This is free gas for me!

      • Roehrigk

That's great! Yesterday I got a 25.00 gas card and groceries totaling 42.00. OOP was 13.24! That's what I'm talking about!

        • Twinmomaaa

How did you get a discount on the gas card? Money maker groceries?

          • Fran

there are 2 in-ad coupons for giftcards this week – one is for $10 off a $50 Amex card and the other is for $5 off ANY $25 giftcard wyb $5 worth of Hallmark.

My guess is that they bought a $25 gas card with the second deal…… but I would like to see the math as well, because we are talking completely free groceries and at least $9 worth of mms to wind up with only $13 oop for everything. (i.e. the best you can do on the giftcard is to buy 2 $3 Hallmark cards to get to the min. $5 purchase and satisfy the Hallmark q requirement, then use the in-ad giftcard q and 2 $2 off Hallmark qs = $25 + $3 + $3 – $5 – $2 – $2 = $22 oop for the $25 giftcard)…… unless I am missing something…

        • Tina

Yes, please share how you do that? We really need the gas card! Don't we all with the price of gas these days!!

    • Misselenias

I didn't see the coupon for Special K in the 3/37 RP. DId anyone else have this problem?

    • Twinmomaaa

Someone may have mentioned this already, but isn't the Quaker Stocking Spree coupon for the wrong size? Have people been using this?

      • malou

I used it today and it was fine, although I didn't know that it was wrong.

        • Bauercandace

I used it yesterday, too, without realizing that it was the wrong size… It didn't even occur to me to look. They did take it, though, eventhough they shouldn't have.

      • Danielle

If you are talking about the granola bar, the coupon does not match the sale. Coupon is for an 18 count and the 10 counts are on sale. I was going to buy the deal this morning but I wont use a coupon for the wrong item. IMHO even if Publix will accept it, we should not use them.

    • Kris Hopkins

A deal idea that I used this past week that will still be good until 4.15 using “Future Friendly P&G Flyer” & “P&G Everyday Savings Booklet”
Buy (2) Dawn 10.3 oz bottles @ $1.49e – use (2).50 Dawn Coupons in Everyday Savings & (2) .55 Dawn Coupons in Future Friendly + Coupon for free Publix Reusable Bag…Your getting all three items for FREE!

      • Danielle

What are the everday savings coupons?

      • Momof4girls

Ok I am just starting my adventures in coupons. Can you please tell me where to get the coupons you are talking about: Everyday Savings, Future Friendly and the one for the free reusable bag?

Also does Publix give a discount for using reusable bags?

      • Jessmender

There was a P&G booklet at the front of my Publix awhile back that said “P&G Future Friendly” and “Save over $13 instantly!” on the cover. That's where you find the .55/1 Dawn store coupon and the coupon for the free bag. I'm not sure about the Everyday Savings booklet, but there was a .25/1 q for Dawn in the April P&G Brand Saver. Both coupons are for any size, so I'm going to see if they have any Dawn for around a dollar tonight! HTH!

    • snarling

Help! anyone have a zipcode for the $1.25 duncan hines cake mix? i can't get it :)

      • snarling

I'm silly, i just printed the other coupon instead. I thought one of the coupons were for frosting when you bought the cake.

    • newtothis

Any help with all of the Duncan Hines coupons? How does the BOGO cake mixes work with the Buy 2 icing/glazes get 1 cake mix free?

      • snarling

I couldn't get it either, I think we need a different zip code. I sure hope someone knows one that works-and I'm not quite sure how it works except-im guessin- if u buy 2 cake mixes at $1.83 (bogo) you can get a third for free with the bottom coupon-so thats 3 for $1.83 and then if you can use the other coupon-you would buy 2 frostings at $1.29 each yoy would get an extra $1.25 off of the cake mix which would make it about .60. so in the end (if im correct) you would get 3 cake mixes and 2 frostings for about $3.20–i think lol

        • TR

Don't forget…if you're in true BOGO land, get that 4th box of cake free as well! So that should make your total per each even lower! Nice!

        • Scarrie456

          35229

        • Scarrie456

          35229

      • Gatorginger

actually if you use the free cake mix coupon with a purchase of two frosting you would get both cake mixes free since they are bogo but you will have to purchase two frostings which are $1.29 each so for $2.58 you can get two cakes mixes and two icings which is a good deal to me

        • Kcanseco

Is this for the buy 2 frostings get a cake mix free? How would the 2nd cake mix be free??

          • Hinckley1978

In some states, not mine, BOGO deals are 'true' BOGO deals and not just a 50%off deal.

    • Christina

How do you get the Stocking Spree Booklet?

      • sharon60

I think we ordered it a month or more ago. I can't remember if there was any way to get it other than ordering. Maybe someone else will reply with that info.

        • Jessmender

I ordered mine, but my inlaws got one in the mail and they didn't sign up for one. Maybe you'll get lucky!

      • Abbey1026

You had to submit an order form online about a month ago. I just went to see if you could sign up and they are not letting you. Keep a look out under booklets and everyone is good posting when new stuff is available to sign up for or to be on the lookout for.

    • feeling overwhelmed…

Please help……I'm new to couponing and this is my first time using them at Publix. Many of the items listed are showing 4 & 5 (some even more) coupons for one item. Can all of them be used for a single item or just one M & one S coupon? Thanks so much!

      • sharon60

Just one M and one S coupon and be sure if coupon is $ off more than one, you get that many items. Hang in there, it get's better, just takes a while to get the drift.

      • Ashley

She puts up all of the possible coupons so that when some people dont have one, theres others yo might have on the list. but as nice as it would be to use all of them…Just one store and one manuf :) Good luck and i promise it gets alot easier

    • Agdomingo 05

Quaker Instant Grits coupon no longer available

    • Alicia

Does anyone know the zip for the ritz munchables?

      • Abbey1026

        try 32068

      • Sheila

        36054 has them also

    • Blingbeads1

Anyone ever been charged a transaction fee for having too many coupons? I was shocked yesterday when I saw a .25 fee on my receipt. They give you coupons and then charge you for using them???????

      • Cber

That's ridiculous! Do you mind saying which store?

        • Blingbeads1

Don't mind at all. It was the Tuscaloosa, AL store on highway 69. I admit I had a buggy full of BOGO (no more than six of anything) and coupons for all of it but if that is going to be the policy I would like to see it printed some place. I had a bad feeling when I went in the store because they had taken all the Yellow and Green coupon books off the rack in the front of the store and put tackie little signs that they were located at the customer service desk. Should have known something was up.

      • AshleyQ

        OMG! Where was this?!?

    • Aliciareitz82

They had the AirWick Freshmatics on sale at our Publix for $5.99. With the “One Stop” coupon for $3 and P&G coupon 4/10 for $2 I got it for $1!!!! So excited to find this deal, it's usually $12!

      • Haleypend

there is also a $4 coupon at homesolutionsnews.com which makes them a moneymaker!!!! :)

    • Danielle

The store coupon for the Whiskas cat treats expired yesterday. The cashier was going to try to push them through and I told her no, I dont want her to get in trouble for an expired coupon.

Stopped by Publix this morning and this store is not letting overages on items. I bought two Pam at $1.59, had a Publix coupon for $1 and a Manu for $.35. The cashier keyed in the coupons at $.59 even though it should of been $.70 off. Not sure why they stopped overages, they will get all the money from the Manufacturer. They are checking each coupon against each item purchased and the price. Takes so much longer at checkout.

      • Ellieprobable

They don't get reimbursed for it doubling, though.

    • Gatorginger

Jenny you can't use the coupons you listed for the planters peanuts cause they are for the wrong size

    • laura

Has anyone seen the Nexxus or the Nivea Body Wash on sale at their Publix? Do you know if it's a good deal? Nexxus 20% off and Nivea 25% off …I have coupons for both but don't know if it's worth it?? Thanks!

      • Mellwells

i got it at rite aid, it was on clearace 50 percent off, after i used a 2.00 coupon i paid 1.32 for it :)

      • Brigid39

The Nivea body wash is going to be in the cvs flyer this sunday. With extra bucks it will come out to be 88 cents and if you have a coupon even less. Good luck.

        • laura

Thanks but it’s only for the men one. I actually got one for .04, one for $1.04, 2.04 and 2.99 but thank you!!

          • Tj

It’s free at Walmart. We got $3 off coupons in todays redplum and it’s $3 at Walmart. We got both men’s and woman’s coupons and they both are $3 at Walmart right now.

    • MissAmes

Just a little hint, always talk to the meat dept manager about what's on sale. I was able to get around 3lbs of ground round for $1.99 a pound, before he showed me that I was going to by a pound for almost $4. I bought two of those because they will freeze well. And he cut me up three-1 inch size ribeys for under $10. B1G1+coupons aside, this savings was my favorite.

    • Nicole

Well after my coupon fiasco at Laurel Canyon Publix in Canton, GA a couple of weeks ago, the assistant manager called me, emailed me, and sent a written letter of apology which I appreciated. Thanks Matt! There are many great cashiers there, but today I went back and three employees were standing in the aisle, truly yelling about customers using coupons, etc. When they saw I had some, the moved their conversation to the meat dept, but you could still hear them. I realized one was the manager, Tiena, I believe is her name. By the time I got to the register, I was shaking and she called me out of my line to ring me herself. I didn't have any coupon errors, hadn't hoarded anything, etc. It was all she could do to grit her teeth and say have a nice day. She even had the nerve to complain to the bagger about my domino sugar coupons with the on sale product price like I wasn't even there. They made me feel unwelcome and am headed to Riverstone from now on even though it is laid out completely different..ugh.

      • Sdale1970

I know how you feel. In Fayetteville, GA I had a cashier tell me (first time I ever went into this store) “You live off of coupons!” I was so mad. Then I went to another Publix closet to my house and said something to the manager that was bagging my groceries and he said “We can't make our living of of coupons, we have to put money in our pockets too and if you don't come in to by all your groceries here then it hurts us” and walked off. So not only was I insulted by one store, but by the other store closet to my house! PUBLIX HATES COUPONERS I HAVE DECIDED!

        • Tammie

I would suggest you write to Publix in Lakeland, FL, headquarters.

        • Livingabonafidelife

This honestly just shows ignorance on their part. The companies reimburse the store for the full value of the coupon plus a handling fee. Publix is not losing money. Honestly, they earn more from me by allowing coupons than they would if they didn't accept coupons!

          • SmartShopper

I'm an avid couponer, but I don't like it when people using coupons act like the store gets reimbursed for your entire savings. Many stores double or even triple and that Courtesy NOT right does come out of the stores pockets. So if you get an item for free it is very possible that they are losing money on it. Not trying to start some debate, but just some food for thought. There are also positives to us getting these items for less then the store paid for them, one is that it keeps stock rotation going, production going at packaging plants, which means jobs, so I'm glad to do my part lol. (and yes, I believe in and have many free things lol :)

            • Juwills

Whatever the case, i'm sure the manufacturers and stores have done the math. If they were losing money overall. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be doing the coupon thing! Also why do people have to feel guilty about getting good deals!
They way I see it It's a win( the customer buys more because of lower cost) Win ( the store sells more to meet the customers demand) and Win (the manufacturer has to manufacture more to meet the store's demand) Sooo! Who loses?

            • HB

To me the point is not whether they are losing money or not – they’ve set their policies, they can change them anytime they want if they find that what they’re doing isn’t profitable – but what they should be doing, every time, to every customer, no matter how many coupons – is to be polite!!!!
All couponers are doing is making the most of the policies that publix has chosen to set.

        • Couponerlmc

I've been to both Publix stores in Fayetteville (mostly Summit Point) and I have never had a problem with either one. I also stop at the one on 54 in Peachtree City on my way home from work and no problems there either. Guess you have just have to learn which cashiers to go to. Better luck to you.

      • Tammie

I would suggest you write to Publix headquarters in Lakeland.

      • Janice

I have had many different experiences in different Publix stores just a few miles apart. All I can tell you is it is worth it to shop at one that is friendly to you – if for nothing else than your blood pressure and peace of mind. Just e-mail the Publix website contact page again and again if you have to – they will notice and they will call you. It is a hassle, but it is the right thing to do (for them and their reputation)! Sorry you are having a hard time :(

      • Supomo

i work at a publix in alabama and the customer service is really good and rarely complain about coupons and actually tell customers about southernsavers. so it bothers me to know that there are other publix stores that don't that don't provide the quality of customer service customers expect/deserve. instead of going to the main office first, email the district manager first. and as far as that store goes,, you have coupon, use them. people anyways, as a publix employee, i apologize for your treatment.

      • Megan

What I don't understand about some associates attitudes is that the new plastic bags say “know before you go” right on them and something about saving money at Publix. That's all we are doing, right? Using coupons isn't stealing, and not coming out of their paycheck, so they need to get over it. Publix promotes saving money!

      • Pam

I am sorry that you were treated that way by the store manager and some of the employees. I would contact the headquarters and let them know about your experience. I wouldn't shop at that Publix again.

      • Oneway02

At the Publix on 9th Ave in Pensacola, Fl, the cashiers and baggers have asked me coupon questions and someone told me about this website. They are so friendly to couponers there that a lot of people go to that Publix. I hope your Publix employees get into it and change their attitudes.

      • Shsa1982

Omg. I despise that publix. I go to the one in Holly Springs or Bridgemill since I’m in between both of them. I’ve been to that Publix twice and will not be going back. The customer service there is awful!

      • Megortiz63

Sorry you had such a bad experience at that store – the one at exit 14 or the one on Highway 5 are both good stores and accept Target coupons too. Good luck!

    • Sdale1970

Hey guys, Just to let you know in Fayetteville, GA that the Pedisure at the Summit Point locataion was not $6.49 it was $7.79. I messed up and didn't look until I got home:(

      • Emily

Same here in Titusville FL. :(

      • Jbush27

        mine too in Conyers Ga.

    • Lilmissnikkilane

Quick Question: Anyone from the Lake City area? I might be moving out there in the next month or two and I was curious about that Publix's coupon policy. Anyone know?

    • Nasus0965

I found peelies at Walmart yesterday on the large Kelloggs cereals. Can I save these for BOGO later at Publix? They say “Save .70 cents on this package of Kellogs cereal (5 oz or larger)”. The “this” is underlined. Thx new to all of this.

      • CCShad

Not to give you a hard time, but just advice to a newbie. You can't take peelies off of products in store if you do not buy the product. At Harris Teeter in Charleston recently, police were called about a woman who was taking the peelies and she was escorted from the store and given a trespassing notice! There are however, blinkies, which are electronic machines in stores that give out coupons. You can get those and save them for later when item goes on sale.

        • Coupons090

and all this time i thought the coupon police didn't really exist!

          • PJ

            HAHAHA, love it!

        • Nasus0965

Thank you for explaining it in a polite manner (not like that other reply!! Which has now been flagged – not sure how that happens). Anyway, like I said I am new and from what I have been reading I guess I understood it to be Ok to take 2 of everything (to cover for BOGO). I do plan on using the 2 peelies, it just didn't work for me at that time. Today, at Publix, I took 2 and only 2 of the Spring Family Gatherings Booklet. Again, thanks for explaining and I promise I will not take any peelies unless I am using them at that time, on that product, in that store.

        • Rebecca

wow, she must have been taking a LOT of peelies for them to do that.

    • Jess84

You can't use the planters coupons or the Quaker granola bars, the are both for the worng size. They don't match up with the BOGO size!

    • Padenash

I picked up some of the gentle on the earth products coupon books yesterday. If anyone would like one e-mail me padenash@gmail.com

      • guest

you should just leave them for other people who may not want to send you their address, or for people who don't see this blog. I hope you aren't grabbing stacks at a time..that's really unfair.

        • Roehrigk

she is trying to help someone out. stop complaining and be grateful she cares! I take more than one booklets too, just a few. Nothing wrong with that. As a matter of fact, the lady at Publix encouraged me to do so!

        • Anonymous

I’m sorry, are you on here just to start arguments and point out what you don’t agree with? Or to save money? We are a community supporting each other. we are individuals with different lives and different views, yes. But we are all trying to support our families. If you don’t like it here, you are welcome to not return. We will be ok with that….

Otherwise, please do what mom says and “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

      • Mcmurrayfamily

You would be mad if you bought the cereal and the coupon had been torn off. They are there for those buying that product at that time.

      • Twinmomaaa

Settle down everyone! These coupons can all be printed online anyway. Jenny posted the link several days ago.

        • Dawn

Wow…I missed that. Do you mean that the stocking spree coupons can be printed on line? Where is that link? I was bummed to not get one of the books.

    • Shame on you

I hope that you bought the large Kelloggs cereals with the peelies on the and didn't STEAL them off the boxes. I hate to know that you are so cheap that you have to STEAL from others so you can save a few pennies.

    • Kimberlywhite424

I just got the Savings are Stocking Up at Publix, “Stocking Spree” booklet in the mail. it's valid thru 4/30. There are some coupon match ups for this ad in the booklet.

      • Lisab

I wonder how to get on the list to have it mailed! They never send me anything!

        • Anonymous

That was different than the coupon books that are normally in the store. Jenny announced that we could order it a couple of months ago and we had to sign up for it online.

But I’m like you, I wish we could have them mail all the coupon books because I’ve only ever gotten a couple in the past year. Oh well, I do ok with printables! :)

          • Anonymous

I think they should make all the books online printable, so we can just use what we need and not get 4 books for just 2 coupons from each! I don’t like wasting paper… (we recycle at the school)

            • Anonymous

Agreed. Maybe Jenny’s announcement next week has something to do with just
              that?!?! We’ll think positive! :)

Geez, give Nasus0965 a break! She (I'm assuming she, but I know there are guys that coupon out there too!) said she was new to all this. But, yes, it is not nice to take peelies unless you are buying the product. And in answer to the question that sparked all of this – if they are manufacturer's coupons, you can use them for future deals at Publix.

    • stop whining

i'm still amazed that employees complain and policies have gotten tighter etc. I know some of what they say is inaccurate but policies are tightening because of all of the extreme couponers that are buying 100 bottles of crap at a time, or taking the whole stack of flyers or coupon books, or doing rain checks on food..goodness! A raincheck on food, really!!? The people who feel they are scoring deals by being excessive are the exact cause for stores to review their policies. Think about how many stores used to double coupons..etc.. At this point, if you are surprised by all of these changes, then you are just whiny.

      • Elyn

What is wrong with getting a rain check on a food item?

        • Me

The manager at the Publix where I shop told me that when an item is on sale, the manufacturer of the sale item basically pays the store for the lost money on the sale item. Rainchecks used to be limited to 10, then several months ago began only being 3 deals. Now they will only issue a raincheck for 2 deals (4 items if BOGO). When people buy items with rainchecks, the manufacturers are not reimbursing the store, so they are losing money on those items. It is awesome that they are willing to issue rainchecks at all. I love Publix!!

      • Confused!

I've always gotten rainchecks. Way before couponing. What's wrong with rainchecks on food??? Rainchecks do generally have a limit. And not all sales allow rainchecks…ie. limited quantities available. I'm really confused on why anyone would be annoyed on a raincheck…especially on food!

      • Anonymous

hmmmm….sorry we bother you. Some of us have more than 2 people in our house and some of us have little mouths that eat 5 or 6 times a day. So, one or two little packs of apple sauce may last you and your family a week. It’s lasts us 2 days. So, if I don’t want to pay double the price, I HAVE to buy 20 at a time. I LOVE rain checks, because often I can use them the very next time I come and I don’t have to check back 4 times before the sale ends. (that’s rough with 4 little ones in tow every day). That being said, I still try to make 2 trips and split up my needs so as not to deplete a shelf so others can enjoy the sale too.

Might you have another store close by that isn’t frequented so much? Maybe their stock is better kept up? hth!

    • Nasus0965

FYI there was a huge display of probably 100 or more boxes of cereal. I took 2 peelies off of 2 boxes. There were other boxes missing their peelies too so I am not the only one who has taken them. Also why do people tell you about matching up old peelies with current sales. I took 2 and only 2! I am asking for help on the wording on the coupon so that i can use it properly. Does no one else ever take peelies off a product and then not use at the same time you found them?

      • Anonymous

I had heard that the peelies are there for people buying the items – to give you more incentive to buy them since they already have coupons on them. Because of this, I don’t take peelies off products I don’t buy but have in rare instances taken one off a specific variety of a product and bought another product that didn’t have the peelie – justifying that I did buy the same product. That’s rare though. :)
Anyway, a lot of the time my coupons are better than the peelies on the products that I do buy so I just trade them or give them away.

    • toni

A few issues today at Publix in Florida. Other than the fact that I am so annoyed that Publix doesn't double coupons here, they also DID NOT TAKE ANY TARGET coupons they said Target is not a grocery store it is a retail store.

Then, NONE OF MY PRINTED coupons scanned!!!! They had to manually do them!!! I don't know if it is my printer but that was annoying too.

Then they stopped taking coupons because my number of coupons exceeded the number of items purchased!

Not that great of a 1st couponing day, although overall I still paid $19 for $87 worth of stuff :)

      • Gatorginger

They should have had the manager over ride so you could use all your coupons, at least they do that at my store and I'm in Florida too

      • Guest

Yeah, they should have done an overide you! Lakeland Fl here :)

        • Guest

          *FOR* lol

      • Lolly

They should have been able to do a overide and used the extra coupons. You have to get a manager but if the coupons match up and are stacked right you will get this a lot. More coupons then items. So you will need a manager to keep going. :)

      • Pennydealchick

Toni, I have had that happen to me before. What I do now is give them all my manufacture coupons, then any other stores coupon, last I like to give them publix that way when the computer beeps I ask for a manager to override their own coupons. Like the rest of us there are many times you are going to have more coupons than itmes bought

      • Momofthree

Our Publix doesn't take Target coupons either because the Target here isn't a “grocery store” it only has a “few grocery items”. I have had a similar experience with stacking coupons though. I went shopping at a Publix I hadn't ever been to. The Cashier said “Oh it looks like you have too many coupons. I'll take 1 off so you can use this.” I guess some places don't have many couponers. I told the cashier not to take off any of them and she needed to call a mgr to override it. She was very confused but the mgr came over and did it…no problem. You should take your coupons they didn't scan to Customer Service with your receipt. They should give you cash for them. I've done this when I've realized I'd forgotten to give them some. They've NEVER had a problem with it.

        • Joynunez24

Don't get discouraged. We all have had good days and bad days. The good always out way the bad, which makes it all worth while. I live in Ocala, Fl and the Publix I go to does consider Target a competitor. Each store is different because it is mainly up to each store's manager to decide what is a competitor and what is not. All in all you had a great trip for your first time!

          • Gatorginger

I'm from Ocala too which store do you shop at, I shop at Pearl Brittan and love it

      • Roehrigk

you have to ask for a manager so they can put in a code. They should already know that and get one with out you asking for one.

      • HB

I'm in Fl too and each store can be completely different in their policies, even stores right down the street from each other.
Your best bet to use target coupons is to go to a publix that is within 5 miles of a target *supercenter* (one that has a whole grocery section, not just a regular target store) if possible, then they will be more likely to see it as a competitor. (Though there's no guarantee!)
best of luck, you did great on your first time out!

        • Dawn

We have a Target right accross from our Publix and the Publix still won't accept Target coupons as competitor coupons. Oh well…we still get some really great deals!

      • Bryarsmom

At the stores here in burbs north of Atlanta when your Q’s lock the register, the cashiers simply call a CSR from the front and they put a code in to over ride it and then the cashier continues to scan the remainder of Q’s.
Once in a while they have to give me some back -cause I go into a negative :)

        • carrie

I was about to write the same answer. I go to a certain store (out-of-town where I take my daughter to dance) that takes everything, whereas my small-town store one takes Winn Dixie. Yesterday, when the manager was called over to override the number of coupons, I thought the bag boy joked that the manager should just be there when I come up (I laughed since this is so true and happens nearly every visit). I have even gone negative at this store once (I try to make sure that will never happen again). Of course, since this store is out-of-town, I only go for the super deals, my regular, weekly have-to-haves that never go on sale, I buy from my own town’s store.

    • Kimee

WOW …Shame on you – actually, SHAME ON YOU for using such words as STEAL and HATE and CHEAP. Maybe she should not have taken the peelies off because it is not fair to other shoppers, but come on…ask yourself:
Have I ever cheated on my taxes
      Have I been caught speeding
Have I been guilty of lying
Really…you don't have to be so RUDE.

    • Elyn

I was in the store today and there was a woman 1 lane over throwing a fit over not being allowed to buy 20 bags of cat food. People like that really make us all look bad :(

      • Jenn

Mabey she should be on TLC's Extreme Couponing! Lol! But you are right, unfortunately it does make us all look bad.

      • Joynunez24

I agree!! One bad apple spoils the bunch unfortunately.

      • Fairyandgnome

What if the woman ran a non profit foster care home for cats??.. I actually know a person who runs one out of her home for dogs and cats and does it simply out of the kindness of her heart AND pocket.. and if I came accross a deal that could help them out.. Id stock up also… just saying.. its the show that made couponing look like hoarding.. so dont judge without knowing WHY she is stocking up.

      • OneGoodApple

Was this at the Trenholm Rd store in Columbia? If so, I think that woman was ME!! and sorry, but your facts are not correct. Please don't make comments about “bad” couponers unless you have all the info needed to do so. If I am totally wrong in my assumption of to whom you are referring, please accept my apology in advance.

        • Anne

If that was you, why were you not able to buy all the bags? Have they changed the policy? I have stray cats and can't afford to buy the cat food at regular price, so when it is on sale I stock up as well. I totally understand. What food was on sale?

          • OneGoodApple

That is where the facts were wrong. It was not bags of cat food. I had a rain check for the cat chow from last week for 10 bags of which I bought with no problem. I was told only 10 like items when trying to buy the can cat food. My understanding from manager at another publix was that I could only use 10 like COUPONS on items – no problem. Now they were stating only 10 like items regardless of whether they are on sale or not. My problem with this was I have 9 cats and I donate to the Pet Soup project which helps those not fortunate enough to be able to buy food for their pets. To me it made no sense to limit the qty of items not on sale such as the cans which were .50/each. If I wanted to buy 20 cans, I would only be allowed to buy 10 and then have to wait until the NEXT day to come in and buy the other 10. As I explained to them, it would be easier for me to go to Bi-Lo, Food Lion, etc and pay the .50/can and be able to buy the 20+ cans all in one trip. I even stated I could buy 10 at their store, 10 at another publix and then 10 at yet another store. I am all for limiting qty on sale items (the store was wiped out by a couple of people when the spaghetti sauce was on sale last week), but to me it doesn't make sense to limit the regular priced items when I am willing to pay full price for them.
Corporate customer service knew nothing of this new policy so it must be district decision. Even the district manager did not have a clear answer for me as to the 10 limit on non-sale items. If this is the policy they are now implementing, so be it and I will follow when and if I decide to shop Publix again. Also, they were really scrutinizing every coupon I had and had to explain to the clerk exactly what I was buying (mind you he just rang it up) and he even questioned the cat chow qs and had to ask CS about them. Took much of a headache for me – going elsewhere.

            • Sb

What a silly policy! Some things when you go shopping you need 10 of. Don't have a cat, but on occasion I buy baby food and 10 jars of baby food would only last me 5 days! I understand why they implement these policies to avoid people clearing she shelves, but there should be some sort of common sense policy that goes along with it!

            • saver

The rain checks only allow 10 items I am guessing that is what it is She is talking about . But if you need a large amount of a sale item call the store at the beginning of the sale (don’t wait till the last day) and talk to a Grocery manager and see if they can order you what you need so it doesn’t wipe the shelves out. This way no rain check is needed.

    • Guest

Okay I'm totally confused! Where do the coupons come from? Where do I get the ones I selected… ahhh help!

      • sharon60

If you are brand new to this, I recommend you click on “learn to coupon” at the top of this page and it will help tremendously. The majority of coupons come from either the inserts in your Sunday newspaper, magazines or are internet printables that the readers have already gotten or will print when creating this week's shopping list.

You can start with this week's ad and may be able to get some of the printable coupons to work with the first time.

As you view ad, look for the word “printable” in blue next to an item. In order to print at various sites you will have to install coupon printer or activator on your computer when prompted. Then you can print.

However some of these coupons have been announced prior to this ad and sometimes coupons have a limit on how many can be printed, so you may be too late to get some or all the coupons this go around.

But don't let that frustrate or stop you from trying this because it's definitely worth the time and money you'll save and in a matter of a few weeks, you'll have a stash of coupons to work with.

Hope this helps and WELCOME to this site!!!

      • sharon60

Oops, realized I forgot to tell you to click on the blue printable….hard to think of everything!

    • Carol

      Hello Everyone,
I am new to couponing and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the blue S's are? I am pretty sure the red M's mean manufacture coupons but what do the blue S's mean and when an item has one blue S and one red M do we use both?

      • The blue S's indicate which coupons are store coupons. You can stack a blue, store coupon and a red, manufacturer coupon. Enjoy!

      • CHill710

The S means store and yes you can use one store and one manufacturer's coupon per item

      • Carol

        Thank you Chill710 and Jenny

    • I would like to make a request:
Please leave your negative opinions to yourself. We are here as a Community to get help and save some money. Yes, some people will be ignorant and say whatever they want. So as a courtesy to us all, who want to read up on legitimate deals or extra sales, please keep your negative comments off of here. Thank you.

    • Abby

Carol, if you put your cursor over the s it shows you that it stands for “store coupon” and yes, I assume you can you both the store and manufacturer coupons

      • Carol

        Thank you

    • Sherryh25

Jenny could you please help me with the cake and frosting coupons. i am still very new at this and im a lil confused wih the coupons and the sales. please share ideas to get me the best deal. thanks

    • Pennydealchick

for those of you in parts of Florida there was a winners circle book from Food Lion that came in the mail last week. There are some great coupons and the book does not expire until 6/30. I know that Publix will accept these.

    • rd86

Where do you guys always get these store coupon booklets? I always ask the customer service desk for them and they never have them. Any advice?

      • Gatorginger

If you have more than one publix store around you it is worth your while to check the service desk at other stores when your out shopping in those areas. Some stores have one book and some stores have others and it depends on how many couponers live by the store you frequent. So make a special trip at other publix and you may be fortunate to find some books

    • Mathgeek

FYI – I don't have time to read all the posts below so someone might have already mentioned this, but in that “SLAM DUNK SAVING” booklet the coupons are good until 4/16, but if you look on the rebate information it says that the receipt has to be dated between 3/24 – 4/9! I just didn't want anyone to buy the necessary items only to find out later that they can't qualify for the rebate.

    • Joynunez24

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but there is a $1 off 1 bag of dove chocolates 8.5oz or larger in the 3/6 RP.If you have the 2/2 from the All You April then that makes both bags .29!! Too bad I already used mine from the All You :(

      • Joynunez24

Oh and I just found a $1 off 2 in the Walgreens booklet 8.5oz-9.5oz :)

        • CCShad

There is also a Dove coupon in the May All You – $2 off Dove Promises and a greeting card. I plan to combine that with the store $5 off $25 gift card when you buy $5 in Hallmark cards. And I will use the Riteaid or Walgreens as well!

      • Shelly

That wouldn't work as both Qs are manufacturer's coupons. I would have come right off my chocolate fast in that case!!

    • Crystal

What is the zip code for Hillshire Farms coupon?

    • Amber

Tonight I tried to buy the AMEX gift card in one transaction, then the rest of the items in a second transaction. The cashier was fine with that, but the card was not accepted. The cashier called customer service and they said the card needed 24 hours before it could be used.

Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone else was trying to do the same thing.

    • laura

Question about the Duncan Hines Cake/Frosting…if I have these two coupons can I get 3 cakes and 3 frosting's?
$1.25 off Duncan Hines Premium Cake Mix WYB (2) Duncan Hines Frosting or Amazing Glazes printable
-Free Duncan Hines Cakes mix WYB (2) Duncan Hines Frosting printable
      (cake mix is BOGO!)

      • Sandy

For these coupons you need to buy 4 frostings and then get 2 cake mixes.

    • Britti024

I've got 8 coupons for $1 the Wheat Thin sticks. Am I able to use these all during the same transaction? I didn't know if there was a limit on the same number of coupons you were allowed to use. Thanks!

      • jennaj81

there shouldn't be any limit. I've used 10+ identical coupons before. However, every store is different so it's best to ask first to avoid a scene at the checkout ;).

    • Aajoyhw32

If you have the Savings are stocking up at Publix (a small blue booklet sent in the mail) there's a coupon for $1 off the Oscar Mayer bacon!

      • Twoofakind868

Thank you so much for posting that! I would have never remembered that and went to look and there it was! :)

    • Fairyandgnome

Okay.. not sure if this is just regional or what but the martha white mixes werent on sale in my store.. in fact.. they dont even carry the coffe cake mix, what was on sale was the Martha white flour.

Then I was gratefully suprised to discover that our 36 ct Advil was on sale for $2.69! Then not so happy when the store couldnt explain to me why I still had to pay 69 cents. By my calculations I should have been owed money.. and this wasnt all tax.. our tax is 6%.. the numbers just dont add up… could just be me though ><

    • I luv publix!

I picked up a new publix booklet today: “Money-Saving coupons for gentle on the earth products” !! :)

      • Bryarsmom

These are avail on Publix site for pdf printing.

    • Fairyandgnome

I dont know that its so wrong.. I mean.. Personally I went to publix last night to see if by chance the coupons where on the Jones farm sausages like it said here. The meat stocker hwho helped me find them said “If you want those coupons, you better get them now bc the other two that come in took almost all of them.” I didnt intend on grabbing any just wanted to know if it should even be on my list. I intended on being the first one through the door at 7am so I wasnt worried. The only problem was.. they were ALL gone. Well.. he told me that he just happened to know of some in the back that needed to still be stocked and he brought them to me to pull the coupon off of for this morning! I wouldnt have gotten the deal otherwise. So while I understand that its “wrong” bc it isnt fair for everyone.. In this case.. I didnt have much of a choice.

      • ChrissyPunkin

I don't understand what you are saying. Did you buy the sausages? The only time you should pull off a peelie is at the register because you are actually buying the product, or at home because, for instance, you already had a better coupon to use during checkout.

        • carrie

I understood her to mean that she was in the store to see if the peelies were indeed on the Jones products (I was thinking of doing the same since I had to be in the store anyway, but then I forgot) and the employee told her that there had been peelies but others had already taken all of them. So, he got her some from the back for her to use the next day when the sale started. I agree with her, it sounds like she normally would not have done this, but she was going in the next day to actually purchase them and the employee had already brought them out. So since it was only a matter of hours till she use the peelies, in this special circumstance, I see nothing wrong with what she did.

          • Fairyandgnome

yep.. this was actually in reply to something someone said below but for some reason it posted as its own comment. Anyway.. carrie got it right. I just wanted to see if it needed to be on my list bc the frenches spicey mustard does not have the coupon on them here like I was told they would.. and yes.. I was going in for somehting else anyway. I think in a store where you are surrounded by coupon hoarders, you have to join then rather than beat them. KWIM? Otherwise.. you totally miss out.

    • Nyrdrms

I'm new to the world of couponing, but I think I'm on the right track. This site is defintely one of the best resources! Is there anyone on here from Gainesville, FL who would be willing to share tips from this area? I just want to know where you mainly shop…Publix, Albertson's, WalMart, etc. Also, how do you get the Shopping Spree Booklets from Publix? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail is nyrdrms@hotmail.com. Thanks.

    • JO

I dont live in a town with publix but am planning a trip to Columbia SC. Can you tell me if the LIPTON TEA BAG Sale includes decaffeinated ones Also? tHANKS FOR ANYONE WHO CAN CHECK AT THE STORE FOR mE

      • Mandy

Call the store and ask them.

        • JO

Thanks for the advice, howevr I did that about a month ago and got the wrong information over the phone. Drove 60 Miles and was very disappointed. JUst hoing someone could actually Visually check to make sure the item is included Thanks again

          • ChrissyPunkin

I always make a note of the person's name on the phone. That way when they say, “Well, I don't know who told you that, but they were wrong,” you can say, “Actually, it was John (or whoever).”

          • rosey

They often have more stock in the back if you can manage to get someone to check for you.

    • Tmstearns3

I would like to post something postive on this stream of comments today. There has been alot of negative comments. Whew! :) Anyway, I am relatively new to couponing and shop at Publix almost exclusively. I had my best day ever today. $75.00 for $25.00. Woot, Woot!!! :):)

    • Liz

I have only been doing this coupon thing for about a year now and it seems as if the items that are listed do not include as many Sunday paper coupons as when I first started. Has anyone else noticed this?

      • eavey

Yes! I've been doing this for about 2 years now & I've definitely noticed it…i've also noticed that the coupons they put out have been decreasing…i.e. rather than $.50/2, they'll put out $.75/2… :o(

    • Eric S.

I'm new to couponing and had a question. If I have a coupon for a free Air Wick warmer unit when I buy refills, than can I also use a coupon for $1.00 off that warmer unit? Might be a stupid question, but I've heard of crazier things that have worked. Thanks.

      • Gatorginger

No you can't use the $1.00 off coupon for the warmer unit because your using a coupon to get it free. If you were buying one and getting one free then you could but your actually getting it free because your buying the refils so I would say no you can't do that

    • Terrishambo

I can't print the Yo-plus coupons- it says I've printed the limit. The last time I printed them was about a month ago. How long do you have to wait between printing again? Does anyone know?

      • sharon60

No set time frame that I know of. I'm in the same boat. Just try to print every time it's on sale and hopefully sooner or later it will be re-set. I went thru the same thing with Vlassic and it was just re-set.

      • Fairyandgnome

Clear your cache and try again ;)

      • Thesmithsofop

How do you clear your cache? Is that the same thing as deleting your browsing history?

    • Igalonso

So can I use 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 store coupon for each item I buy? Sorry I'm new to this!

      • Reneern

YES! That's the beauty of couponing!!!!!

    • Crazycook

Where can I find the yellow advantage booklet?

      • Denamrgn

        Check your service desk

    • Beverly

how can i print my shopping list without having to print all thecomments?Last time it was like 26 pages of post – wasted paper, so expensive

      • Fairyandgnome

When you click print and your box pops up saying pages 1-? (whatever the number may be) change the ending number to 1 or 2.. if it still didnt print all of your shopping list.. then go back and do page 3 or 3-4. youll figure out the range you need as you do it. Then it wont print all of the extra.

      • Savinglotsofdough

Did you click the “Create List” button right before the posted comments? It will take you to a separate window with only the items you've checked. There you can also add things to your list before printing.

    • Padenash

What is the deal with the negative people having to bash people for trying to help, or get answers to some questions? All the sudden this has become a war zone and we are all here for the same thing, to save money!

      • hb

I agree, seems like there are a lot of hostile angry people on here a lot of the time. If newbies even post a question or get mildly frustrated (because this is NOT easy at first!) they are immediately jumped all over and invariably accused of “ruining it for everyone!” It's ridiculous. My opinion is that if the angry people are this hostile/angry at the store too, they're the ones ruining it for everyone, not the newbies making honest mistakes and just trying to figure things out…

    • Padenash

Dove Hair Care Products, 4-12 oz, $3
-.55/1 Dove product (Publix coupon), Green Advantage flyer
-.75/1 Dove hair care, excl trial size, RP 3/27
(use store and mfr., makes it $1.70)

I am unable to find this .55/1 green advantage coupon, does anyone know if it is for sure in the advantage flyer?

      • Guest

The -55/1 Dove Product was in the green advantage flyer last month!

    • guest

I have a question if you guys do not mind, When you have an item that has one store coupon and more than one manufacture coupon under it such as the purina busy rolhide. I understand you can use one store coupon and one manufacture coupon, so for the purina busy rollhide, do you just pick the manaufacture coupon that would make it the best deal?? like for the busy bone would you use the last manufacture coupon for: Purina Busy product max 7 oz WYB Beggin’ product, max $3.99, SS 1/23
(use $1 off store and mfr., makes it $1)

Or does it matter which manufacture coupon you use?

      • Veronica

Use whichever coupon best works for you — Good luck, Veronica

        • guest

          Thank you

    • Bathomas11

what are the yellow advantage buys? sometimes they are not the same price as the items in my store.

      • Sandy

They might not be marked. Pick up a Yellow flyer at the customer service desk (or sometimes in display at the entrance of Publix) and it'll probably confirm what Jenny has online.

    • Sandraayala029

Hello All I have been using this site for a year love it…
So i was at publix last night and saw a great deal I didnt see it in the add, but anyways they have the Kraft shreded cheese for 3 for $5 this is the one with a hint of philadelphia cream cheese. Right below if a coupon for a Dollar of one bag of this new product so it will be 3 off and your total is 2.00.. This was in a Publix in Central Florida. Hope you can find it as well….

      • Gatorginger

There is also a target coupon on this so if you use the target coupon you would get them free plus overage

    • Spent $35.00 saved $110.00

    • Carol

Hey Everyone I havetwo more questions:

Okay when it says under the buy one get one free area I know you buy two for the price of one. So for the quaker instant grits, I know I buy one and I get one free so I would spend $2.39 if I did not use a coupon. Now the coupon is for $1 off of two, does that mean I can only use one of those coupons and still have to pay $1.39 or does that mean I can use two of the $1 off of 2 and only pay 39¢.

My other question is for the kellogg's pop tarts, 8 count at $2.59. It says use $1 off of three, that means I buy three, one of them is free because of the buy one get one free, so ultimately I am paying for two but with a dollar off of three I will be paying $1.96 since each is $1.29 right? Now also can I only use only one $1 off of three or can I use more?

I am having trouble on how I get the final price of 96¢ and 69¢ for each of these items can someone please explain how the final prices are what they are with only using one manufacture coupon.

Here is the add and the coupons that was put on the site:
      Kellogg’s Pop Tarts, 8 ct, at $2.59 ($1.29)
      -$1/3 Kellogg’s PopTarts pastries or mini crisps, 6 ct +, RP 3/06
      (makes it 96¢)

Quaker Instant Grits, 12 pk, at $2.39 ($1.19)
-$1/2 Quaker Breakfast Items printable (limit reached)
      (makes it 69¢)

      • Mamaberry

        Carol,

1 – you can use one mfg q per item. A q that says $1/2 counts toward 2 items, whether they are 'free' or not. So, you will use one of the $1/2 Quaker if you buy one deal. (one set of two) that means that $2.39-$1.00 = 1.39. Divided by 2 gives you the $.69 each.

2 – the pop tarts is a little different. It depends on if you are in a true BOGO state (FL and some of GA) or if your BOGO sales are really 50% off. If you get 50% off, you will buy 3 at half price, use the $1/3 q and pay a total of $3.87-1.00 = 2.87. Divide that by 3 and you get your $.96 each. OR if you are a bogo area you get 4 for $5.18-$1.00= 4.18 and divide that by 4 is $1.05 each.

Did that help any? It WILL get easier, I promise ;)

        • Carol

Yes, thank you. I should have thought to divide the total by each item to get the $.69 per item. Thank you I will try out my couponing this Sunday. I am getting my list and coupons ready! I hope it works out for me. I am suppose to go with a lady who does this all the time on Saturday to see how it works and Sunday I will give it a try. Thank you!

taking inlaws to the beach this weekend northmyrtle ineed help please grocery stores match ups or sales if possible restaurant coupons anything please there are 6 of us thnaks and godbless to anyone who will help me

      • couponingfor2

Im in Myrtle beach. We have Bi-lo, FL and Lowes. There might be a Kroger in North Myrtle. Check for TGIF coupons, I have seen them on this site as well as others before. You will also be near Tanger Outlet Mall, customer service should have 20% coupons for select stores!

    • Maritzbaelrivera

I founf $1.50 off Tear Pad of those RITZ crackerfulls! Made a great deal! 39 cents for 2 BOXES, or about 20 cents EACH!!!!!

      • Mamaberry

        Nice!

    • MK

FYI- The Conagra $10 offer was only good through last weekend : ( Thought it was good till the 16th but reading it today and it said receipts must be dated through the 9th : (

    • laura

$172.70 worth of groceries for $93!! Amazing savings and I even bought some stuff not on sale (husband wants to make a tres leche cake). The Publix in Summerville DOES still accept Target coupons (thank goodness)!! Awesome store, associates and managers, very very helpful!

      • SweetDenia

If you're talking about the Trolley Road store, I totally agree! I thank my lucky stars every time I go in that store that they're so close to where I live. It truly is a pleasure to shop there!!!

        • Shmoopie202

I like to go to the one in knightsville. Always friendly also. And seems to be less crowded then Trolley road. Seem to be well stocked also

    • Carrie Brown80

Pulix on Harbison in Columbia would not accept my Target coupons. They also wouldn't accept the printed Uncle Ben's Rice coupon from Rite Aid although it clearly says it is a manufacturer's coupon. The cashier kept saying Rite Aid wasn't a competitor of Publix so he couldn't accept it. Is he right?

      • laura

They accept Target because of all the grocery items that they carry *a Publix manager told me that* where as the Rite Aid doesn't carry grocery items…

        • Mummzy4

They only accept direct competitor coupons so if there is no Super Target near by they are not accepted. Drug stores are not a competitor unless your are getting your prescription filled and if you have a coupon for that it will work.

      • Sandy

Individual managers are allowed to decide what stores they consider to be a competitor. It sounds like your store doesn't except Target or Rite Aid, but call the customer service desk and find out what stores are.

        • Patrice

Ya know just some stores are better at customer service like the new one in Pooler isn't coupon friendly and the managers just kinda stand around and watch the registers and make you feel like your stealing ……… however the one in Savannah on Largo the manager there will come to you in the store and make sure you got the coupon books the store has and makes sure you are satisfied with the customer service there the cashiers are friendly and make you feel like your home. I live 4 min. from the Pooler store but I drive 25 miles to go to Largo.

          • Sandy

I love the Largo Publix as well! Donovan, the manager, is great!

      • amanda

Publix in Harbison does not accept Target coupons. I have asked several times and consistently been told no. There is no Super Target locally so it is not considered a grocery store competitor.

      • Couponreina2011

Try the Publix on Hwy 6 at Irmo Drive. They are really nice there!

        • Kelly

Publix on hwy 6 is awesome! However they wont except target coupons either. I do believe they would have taken the RA coupon if it was a true manf coupon (starting with a 5 or 9)

    • Kim

I just had the most aggravating experience at Publix. The cashier told me I could only have up to $12 in competitors coupons which I had never heard before. She also wouldn't let me use both of the B1G1 free coupons (S&M) on the trident gum. She then analyzed and quizzed me on every coupon I had, which made me feel like a criminal. Does anybody know if there is an official coupon policy per store that you can ask to see?

      • Ygreenrosey

Kim, do you know that you probably still paid less for you buggy of groceries than Publix did to get them in the store? The mark up is small and they have employees to pay. I do not find it unfair at ALL that they only allowed you to use $12 of competitor coupons. You should feel fortunate for what they did take and get over the rest.

        • Sandy

I find it unfair. If there is a change in the coupon policy they should let the customers know before they get to the register. There's also a way to check and verify coupons without making customers feel uncomfortable and apparently that didn't happen to Kim.

        • Kim

I didn't find it unfair, I found it aggravating and embarrassing. I want to know ALL the rules that the store has about coupons, so I can follow them and not have to be “schooled” by a condescending cashier. I also don't appreciate condescending comments, but I guess rudeness is rampant.

          • jennifer_h

I've found a huge range of cashiers at my Publix – some are very polite, know all the coupon policies, and never question me. Others analyze my every move and question everything. When they try to quote some “policy” I've never heard of before, I always ask if it's a new policy, and tell them I was always able to do whatever it was in the past. If I have questions, I ask to them to clarify with a manager. Some get upset, but it's my right as a customer, and of all the times I've asked to clarify a policy with a manager, the manager has backed me up every single time. I figure the best thing to do is kill them with kindness and have the manager tell them you're right. And avoid that cashier in the future! Over time you learn which ones are easiest to deal with!

        • lawman

@ Ygreenrosey… you make it sound like using coupons is “taking” from the store and their profits. The stores gets re-reimbursed by the manufacture plus ~.08 handling fee for each coupon. Most manufactures coordinate with the stores to have sales along side coupons and the store gets it's share.

      • Val

Of course you can ask but in my area I've never seen an official policy on paper. I always check with the CS desk when I walk in to see if the policy has changed, and if there is an issue I always confirm it with the manager. Sorry, you felt like a criminal– avoid that cashier next time. :)

      • Jessicahurff

Each store is different, so the best thing to do is to call ahead or stop in at the Customer Service desk to find out about competitor coupons.

      • Sewingmom2

The Publix in Stockbridge, Ga only accepts Kroger coupons, even though there are other stores within a couple miles of the store. It is up to each store manager to determine what they accept. Best to check with the store manager before trying to use competitors coupons and getting drilled.

I have been hearing for weeks that Publix was going to change their coupon policy in April. I expect them to limit the number of items we can get. I try to limit myself on the good deals and go back later in the week to get more, but never clean out the shelves.

        • Skdoss76

I go to the one on Eagle's Landing, and they accept Target coupons.

      • Christina

I had a problem with the Trident Vitality gum also. I was told I had to buy 3 packs in order to use both of my BOGO coupons (One yellow Adv. Q and One Manu Q) I didnt understand this as they were 2 diff coupons.

      • GA Girl

        What store was this?

    • carrie

Does anyone know if the Orville popcorn actually does include the pop-up bowls that Jenny has Q listed for? I don't want to print it if it isn't included in the sale. Thanks.

      • Reneern

yes pop up bowls are included. Just got 2 today and used $1/1 for each:)

    • Sara

I'm a little new, but finally getting the hang of it =) I just have one question, if the item is BOGO can I use 2 store and 2 Manufacture since I am getting 2 items?

      • Gatorginger

        Yes you can Sara

    • Rachellaurenray

SS 4/10 coupon for .50/1 duncan heinz brownie mix

    • Kari

Does anyone know how to print the coupons to a file? I try and every time I click “print coupons” it automatically prints. I do not get an option to print to a file.

      Thanks.

      • Marina115

I'm not sure what you mean “print to a file”. Once you hit print, it will automatically print. If you want to print them out later, you can disconnect your printer and click print. The computer will save them in your printing folder as “pending” and when your ready, reconnect it and they will print automatically.

      • jennifer_h

You can't print coupons to a file (to a pdf, for example) because they don't want you printing countless copies of the same coupon. Each coupon has a unique barcode, and you are only supposed to use it once. That's why it has to be printed directly to a printer.

    • Amy_Q

I was just able to print 8 of the Cottonelle coupons for some reason. It usually will only let you print 2. Might work for the rest of you who need to stock up on TP!

    • Bessyone

I was trying to print a coupon for the Birdseye steamed veggies (not the sauce). It took me to the http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/index.aspx?pid=13903&nid=10&zid=xh20&cid=0&bid=1018300001 page….however, I do not see a coupon there. Is there somewhere else on that site I should be going to? thanks

      • Jim

Sorry for the late response to this, but I contacted Birdseye on their site and asked for a coupon for non-sauce veggies. They wrote back within 24 hrs, were really nice, and said they would be sending me a coupon within 7-10 days. I was pleasantly surprised. Hope the coupon shows up.

    • Bessyone

I went to the “printable” on the birdseye veggies and it took me to the http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/index.aspx?pid=13903&nid=10&zid=xh20&cid=0&bid=1018300001 website, but I didnt see a coupon. Is there somewhere else on the site to go to get this coupon?

    • Abspearman

I found a Reynolds Aluminum Wrap coupon from one of the recent paper inserts for $.50. I'm sorry I can't be more specific about where I found it, but it makes for a good deal if you have the q.

    • Neg1341

If you pint a coupon can yu use a copier to make additional copies or will those be invalid? My friend says she does this and it works

      • Cheryl

It might “work” when the cashier scans it, but technically it's illegal and also considered unethical by long time couponers. You can print 2 per computer most of the time. Most people try to use as many computers as they can, but only 2 from each.

        • Neg1341

Thank you so much for clarifying!

          • Cheryl

You're welcome. I personally print from my computer, my husband's, and then my mother print and gives me 2 from hers if it's not a product she's interested in. So I can get up to 6 if it's a great deal. But if it's only a so-so deal, I just print 1 or 2.

The fine print on coupons almost always states that they are illegal to copy, sell, etc. Most printables have a unique bar code that I believe can be traced back to a person's IP address, so technically if the manufacturer that reimburses the coupons to the store started to get suspicious of so many identical (copied) coupons with the same special code, your friend's computer IP address could be traced back and she could get in serious trouble. It doesn't seem to happen often, but with more and more people attempting to copy coupons, it seems that manufacturers are starting to crack down on this.

Even if your friend isn't afraid of being caught, it's still considered unethical. 2 coupons per printer also helps make it fair for everyone to be able to go to the store and not have all the shelves cleared of the great deals.

            • Mel

I agree….people being unethical will increase stricter coupon policies in the stores or make it difficult to use them period. It kills me when I stop two or three times at a store to get a great deal on an item (passing by anyway…know that gas is 4.00 per gal) and the shelves are continually empty….then I see 12 or more pictured on this website where someone obviously wiped the item out…don't see how someone can use 12 or more bottles of Motrin b4 the expiration date unless they have a real problem!! And my Food Pantry/charity won't take meds….most prob aren't allowed to either.
There is definitely a code on the printables that can be traced back to the user….Jenny stated that in one of her classes.

            • Brandon

Most medicines don't expire. Its just on there so you'll buy more thinking its bad or something.

            • itismedia

              Brandon,
As a Paramedic, I can assure you that medicines do expire. In general, it is okay to take them a month or two after the expiration, but no more than that. The medications can break down and become ineffective or outright dangerous. Please be careful.

      • Donna

No you can't because that is called coupon fraud and you can get in real trouble for doing that if youre caught. I would recommend you telling your friend that as well. The store won't get paid for that coupon. Each coupon has it's own code and if you copy it, a lot of little dots will come up on that coupon meaning it was copied and shouldn't be taken. Too much of this habit will cause alot of problems for those that do it the right way.

Just got back from Publix in Lawrencevile, GA and the Heluva good dip is priced at 2.09 each, not $2. I did get to stack the store Q and 2 manuf. Q so they came out to 9 cents for both– not bad, but not free. BUT- The Poptarts at my store are priced at 2.09 B1G1 instead of 2.59 B1g1. So my poptarts deal was awesome!! Only 71 cents each with the $1/3 coupon!

I had to make two trips this week (one yesterday so I could still use the Lays and spicy mustard coupons for the last yellow flier and one for today to get the Heluva good dips) but overall I spent $20.25 and saved $65.52! Approx 75% and all of it was on things that I would have normally bought (okay maybe not the dip!)
Thanks Jenny for all your advice on this site!

Maybe this is a stupid question, but– Why doesn't Publix just have one price for everything? I've noticed alot of people on here who go to check out their store and the prices can vary widely. In the last few months I've gotten a few better deals and then rarely (like today) the deal isn't quite as great. I always double check and do the math before I go and then at the store as well.

So obviously corporate doesn't have a set price for each item– is it regional? or can it vary from town to town within the same county or state? Is it up to the individual managers? Just wondering…

      • AbbyBabe126

Cost of living varies from region to region and groceries are also affected by this just like gas, housing, and everything else. I live in Charleston SC and the prices are usually higher (sometimes by as much as 50 cents depending on the item) then the prices that Jenny lists since she lives in Columbia SC. So if you want to be spot on with your budgeting then check your local flyer before heading to your local store and it will give you your local prices.

        • Cheryl

          Thank you!

    • Tangela

Don't know if anyone has posted it yet, but I didn't see it in the deals list – There is a $1 off Cottonelle PUBLIX Q in the Get a bundle of savings. Do a bundle of good leaflet that can be paired with the manuf Q to make 12 double roll of Cottonelle $4.49 and will count towards the kimberly clarke $35 total for the $10 rebate.

    • There is a $1 off Oscar Mayer Center Cut Bacon store coupon in the “Savings are Stocking up at Publix” booklet I got in the mall. That will make the bacon $3 each with the BOGO. I usually get regular bacon (low carber here so fat is okay), but I will buy one pack of the center cut and one pack of the regular.

It came from stockingspree dot com

    • Howardcs

Does anyone know when coffee will be B1G1 again?

    • snarling

My Publix, in Palm Coast,fl, had coupons for .55 cents on the pkgs of pop-tarts! So, it was bogo at $2.5? then each box had the coupon so that made 2 boxes for $1.4? which is then less than a buck for each one!

    • Tmacga16

I went to Publix the other day, and made out of there great! I bought 10 whiskas cat foods and had 3 b1g1 coupons, and I got 6 covergirl eyeshadows (with the store and manu coupons) was able to get 2 free shopping bags and about $10 more worth of food and I paid $0.89. Apparently the doubled the b1g1 cat food coupons b/c the cat food was under $0.50. so 6 of my cans were free and I has enough overage to make it only $0.89!

    • Snadecker

The Quaker store coupon that is mentioned is only for the larger size box, which is not b1g1… And while the store coupons that came with the con Agra rebate may be valid until the 16th, the date of purchase on the reciept has to have been by 4/9 or you can't get the mail in rebate… But other than that I did ok with publix this week..

    • catlawson

Can't seem to find any of the Stocking Spree Booklets at any Publix near me and a few of them didn't even know what I was talking about. Does anyone know when these usually come out so I know for next time?

      • Maedae93

This was a booklet that was mailed out.

    • Christina

There is a coupon in the ss 4/10 for .50 off any Duncan Hines Brownie Mix so it will make it .34 cents after your coupons double if you buy the BOGO brownie mix!!!

    • Joshuagriffing

Are the Ritz Crackerful's B1G1 as well @ publix this week? There is a 1.50 off 1 coupon in one of the SS i would love to pair with it…

      • chris

yep I did the deal today. It was overage for me.

      • tori729

Not in my paper in Greenville SC. :(

        • Rashelle628

In my paper it was for only $1 off but I did find a stack attached to the display at Publix that were for $1.50 this was in South Florida but keep your eyes peeled for it.

    • sarahm

This is completely old now, but I used the $1.50 Ritz Crackerfuls coupon in today's paper with the sale price from Wednesday and got them free this morning :)

    • PoofyBoutique

After finding this site, and watching Extreme Couponing on TLC – I am addicted to getting a deal. I just wish I didn't live in FL so I could double up on coupons! :)

      • Islandhopper04

I agree with you! I live in Southeast Georgia and sadly there is no double couponing here. :(

        • SANDY

          Bummer :(

      • Lindsey

Trust me I feel the same way, I am in Northern FL and have no place within a 100 mile radius that doubles coupons! Makes getting items for really cheap a lot harder.

        • PJ

I live in Jacksonville, FL and still save plenty, even without stores doubling coupons. Publix is awesome and I do some CVS and Walgreens trips too!

          • Lindsey

I am in Tallahassee, I save a lot also, just saying its not as easy to do those trips like on Extreme Couponing where they get $600 of items for $6 without double coupons.

      • Swashdawg

I love and hate that show…these people are OCD. Jenny preaches, and I agree, that you should only get what you need for 4 months. I irritates me to see someone buying 70 yellow mustards or 100 dental flosses just to say they got a great deal. Ridiculous and inconsiderate to fellow couponers, not to mention the poor schlep who needs 1 mustard for dinner tonight!

We have a family of 5, we get 2 double sunday papers and print online coupons. That seems to be enough…..both freezers are stuffed as is our pantry.

    • jlh

Is anyone having trouble printing off the Idahoan $1/3 Flavored Potatoes (not the single serve)? I click on the printable link and it takes me to coupon network's site but I can't find the coupon. Is there anyway someone can email me the coupon?

      • Michelle

I found the $1/3 coupon on Target's website, it's a MQ. I also have the $.75/3 in a pdf if you would like for me to email it to you.

    • Nan

I have several Publix insert coupons if you live in the Covington, GA area and want to pick them up or send me postage and I can mail them. Email me @ princessnan3000@att.net

    • Concerned

Ok just so yall know Publix only accecpts 1 competitor or store and 1 Manf. coupon, and that's it. Secondly the competitors change according to what the Publixs are near, so this whole use 2 manf coupons on one item thig is b.s.

      • Nadyelee

IT ALL depends on the Publix you go to I work for Publix and at my store we don't enforce that.

      • Riley

Most of us already knew that. There isn't a grocery store that I am aware of that will take more than one manu coupon on any item, and if they did, it's in violation of the coupon redemption procedure per the manufacturer. Additionally, there is nowhere on this site that the author will encourage you to use multiple manu coupons on one item, so if you are suggesting that is the case then maybe you should check your bs finder.

      • Elizabeth M.

Actually I just called my store today and they will take 1 manufacturer, 1 competitor, and 1 store coupon for one item… It just depends on your store.

    • Blingbeads1

Will there be an update with the coupons from the inserts from today added?

    • Laura V.

There’s a $1 off coupon for the Wheat Thins Crunch Stix on smartsouce.com. Also, you can get one on facebook. I really like these and it should make them 69 cents a box! :o)

    • Rgnurse911

There is a 55 cent coupon in the Publix Spring Family Gatherings Coupon book for Duncan Hines that is on sale BOGO at Publix right now. Would make it 39 cents.

    • tori729

Is anyone else really missing the YoPlus coupons? They used to ALWAYS be in the paper and now all of a sudden they are just doing the Light and Fiber One coupons. We don't like those because of the artificial sweeteners so I get the YoPlus. SO sad that they are BOGO this week and I have NO coupons for them! (already printed the IPs)

      • Bryarsmom

All I could dig up were the IP's.

    • Julie

There is a 75 cents of any Hellmann's product in this past Sundays paper.

      • Bryarsmom

And the $1/2 Target makes it a little less painful to buy the mayo :)

      • Kathy

        Thanks!

      • Elizabeth M.

        Didn't get that one!

      • crystalfawn

Found it…Thanks so much for the heads up!

    • Kathy

Future Savings ~ For all you “Vlasic” Pickle lovers, there are a couple coupons you need to look for and save for when its BOGO time at Publix. There is a 55 cents off (1) “Publix” coupon in the “Spring Family Gatherings” booklet. You can also find a 75 cents off (1) coupon in a “blinkie” near the “Vlasic” pickles at Publix. Adds up to big savings when you pair them up with a future BOGO.

    • Skdoss76

FYI – At my store in Stockbridge, GA, the Kraft 2% singles were NOT included in the B1G1 sale. They were priced at about $4 each. So, the printable coupon listed in the matchup for “$1 off Kraft 2% Milk cheese singles” won't work. Bummer! :(

      • mjw3i

Mine weren't either. I also had a $1 off coupon for the mozarella shredded cheese with a touch of philadelphia, and they wouln't accept it. ALL other shredded cheese was on sale EXCEPT for that one. It was so frustrating, and so not like Publix!

      • Sandy

        Making my list… thank you!

    • guest

Coppertone would be a great deal, if the prices were the same here in Evans, GA. I am going to check the other 2 Publix stores in our area. They are not on sale for 6.49, but are 7.49 and up. Heads up, FYI, etc….

      • Rachellaurenray

I have the same problem up here in Huntsville Al. Ebay my friend….ebay!

      • Melissa

Look for the Coppertone Sport products. They are cheaper at my Publix. HTH

    • sally

There are no savings booklets of any kind available at any Publix store in the Birmingham, Al. stores or surronding areas.

      • Amandac

I know, its so frustrating….come on Birmingham!!

        • Guest

We've gotten very few here in Greenville as well!

      • kim

The cashier in Calera, AL gave me the spring coupon booklet for Publix 3 days ago.

      • Sandy

Did you ask the customer service desk? They had to put ours there because people were taking stacks of them.

    • Jamison

Does anyone know when the last B1G1 for Tide occurred?

      • Marina115

B1G1 for Tide???? Ummmm…. I think never! LOL I've been doing this for awhile and I've never seen it go on sale more than a few dollars. If you're really loyal to that brand then stock up whenever you see it on sale. Otherwise, detergents like All 2X and others go B1G1 all the time. HTH

    • May_may222

I got two cover girl eyeshadows for $0.25 each! you can use the $2.50/2 man and (2) $1.50 from the green advantage flier. That's pretty cheap!

      • Lola B

what insert has the 2.50/2 though????

        • Latincoupon

The P&G of this month! The green one with the little girl!! Sorry, forgot the date!

    • Padenash

You can use the coupon for the reusable bag that is in the greenadvantage flyer with the covergirl deal and get the bag for free too!

    • Bolessd

Ugghh… today was my 2nd time shopping at Publix (E. Brainerd, Chattanooga, TN) about 35 miles from my home, and this trip, even though I saved money, will be my last to this store! The cashier was rude, when I told her that some of my coupons may be stuck together, she informed me that she does this all day every day & wouldn't miss one of my coupons… and then I had a manufacturers catalina coupon from Walgreens (RR), $5 off, it says manufacturers coupon (P&G), and it starts w/a 5, she informed me then that because it starts w/a 5 means absolutely nothing… she didn't want to take the coupon, I requested she ask a manager or CSR, they also said that they couldn't take it, they said it wouldn't scan, so to prove a point I ask her to scan it, if it rejected it, fine I would take my coupon back, it accepted my coupon and deducted the $5 from my order… why do they have to be so difficult???

      • Val

Does your store take Walgreens as a competitor? If it doesn't I can completely understand why they wouldn't take a Register Reward.

        • Bolessd

a Register Reward is an actual manufacture coupon, the scanner accepted it as such, it was simply the cashier not wanting to take it. I would have understood if the register hadn't accepted the coupon or it it said “store coupon”.

          • Sandy

I doubt Publix will be compensated for the Register Reward. Do they even have instructions to the retailer about reimbursement?

          • Champ23

I work at Publix and at my store we were told not to accept Register Rewards because they are a “total purchase” manufacturer coupon not a mf on a particular item.

      • GA Girl

I quit going there also because of a rude cashier who seemed determined to get rid of cuponing customers such as myself. I started going to the one at Hurricane Creek and the difference is astounding. They are the MOST coupon friendly store I know and they always offer to take your cart out; which the E Brainered store did not always do.

      • Outtolunchmom

I shop this Publix every week. In my experience this store is wonderful. I hope you will give them another chance. It is Publix policy to allow each store manager to determine which stores are competitors. This Publix does not consider Walgreens a competitor even though it is across the street.
My daughter lives in Atlanta. She has 2 Publix within 3 miles of her home. They each have different competitors. Whenever I shop a different Publix I always check their coupon policy since they wary widely.

      • tryingtosave

Go to the one just off exit 11. Much more coupon friendly!!!

    • Mlahodik

I didn't know that Publix coupons never expired, I went shopping today and the cashier told me to make sure I don't dispose of public coupons as they honor them past their expiration dates. Just in vase someone didn't know either.

      • Val

This varies from store to store. The Publix's in my area will no longer take expired coupons

        • Gail

Same with mine…seems everyone has a different story at my store.

      • mommyloveskids

Mine won't, so I guess it depends on your store/manager. Got the Pam coupon rejected Sunday, and it expired Saturday. :(

      • Squirrelhater

Our Publix may take them a few days out of date, but I could not use a publix coupon for cheese that was about a month old. They've also started posting limits on some things.I suppose that's in response to the few shelf clearing psychos intent on ruining couponing for everyone. As a long time couponer I worried that this site,Krazy coupon lady, etc.would mess everything up.It does cut down on your own research, but it's a magnet for people intent on fraud..which makes the stores tighten on us all as does the so called extreme couponer(shelf clearer)with his mountain of a cart and 200 coupons per trip.Worst of all is the nuts on TV.The stores' people watch too.I personally believe it has to do with the economy, but not how you think.I think a lot of these coupon ladies-especially “the extreme” used to shop for themselves more often and eschew coupons and the like. Then they or their husbands lost their fatcat jobs and this has turned into some sort of bizarre hobby in the name of charity. The majority of us want to save, eat well, put up a few non-perishables for our families, and share.Once these shelf clearers completely ruin everything, the people they supposedly want to help will be back on McDonalds or ramen noodles with no one to help as the charitable shelf clearers will be off to the next fad….Would a good sharer take everthing so that they could share with their chosen? No…and worse yet are those who resell the items…should be arrested….lot on my chest-sorry……Yay,Publix…!!??!

        • guest

Should be arrested?????? Why do so many people (sorry, couponers) think it's a crime to sell food? What you buy is yours to do with as you see fit. Throw it away, give it away, sell it or dig a hole and bury it! How about live and let live?

    • kristyi

Just noticed that the 50 cents off any Duncan hines mfc cpn (exp 5/31) wasn't listed. Using this cpn would make brownies 35 cents per box.

    • LJ

I am still new to this…but how about the Dove Visible Care body wash?
Publix coupon from booklet (exp 4/22) – $1.50
      Target coupon (exp 4/30) – $1.50
      Manufac. (exp 5/18) – $1.00

      • Thesmithsofop

My store takes a Publix OR a competitor along with a manu but not both. Maybe yours is different.

        • Shelyane

          My store takes all

          • LJ

thanks! i was wondering if you can use 1 of each type…i will ask my store :)

            • Elizabeth M.

I called my store today and found out they will accept manuf., store, and comp. coupon for one item! (finally after months of thinking otherwise!) Yay!

          • darbe

my store in central fl take both too!

            • Quirozm98

Hi, im in central florida too! Which store are you referring to? The one i go to in metro west stopped taking all three:( so its time to go to a different publix. Thx!

    • Padenash

I have some of the stocking spree book coupons left that I am not going to use, I know it is last minute. But if you would like any e-mail which ones you want, and I will send them if I have them….padenash@gmail.com

Facebook has a $1.75 off one Finish Quantum if you “Like” their page! Makes it $1.74

    • Keelrj

There is an additional $1.00 Publix store coupon for steamfresh frozen veggies in the new Spring coupon booklet. Got mine for around $.25 a bag.

      • crystalfawn

        Found it….THANKS SO MUCH Keelrj!

      • Themartins55

I was thinking to use the b1g1 that came in the circular plus 2 store coupons that came in the Springtime ad. Can I do that?

    • CodyandEllasMom

Propel Zero 20 oz are 2 for $1. Use $1 off two Propels. It makes it free!

      • crystalfawn

That is great! Where did you find the coupon?

        • Sandy

I would like to know too!

        • T9leman

          2/13 SS

    • Mallory

The Publix in Leesburg,GA had stuffed clam and scallops 10 for $10!! If you buy ten its a savings of $6.40… Also, ask them for some that are frozen so you can cook as many at a time as you want.

    • Ginacullen

Just came from Publix (Atlanta suburb) — they do take competitor coupons (Target, Kroger etc) but they wouldn't accept Rite Aid. Just FYI!

      • Savinggracemartin2008

Each location has different “competitors.” My Publix manager defined it as anyone within a 5 mile radius. That may make the difference.

    • Dana_cherie

Where is the ad for tomorrow?

      • Faithprophet

this sale does not end til saturday. there will not be a new sale til next week.

      • Lee

I am so glad I am not the only one that is addicted to the Tuesday night ritual!

      • di

i know i was thinking the same thing

      • Val

        This sale runs through 4/23

      • Gatorginger

The new ad starts Monday 25th and you might be able to see tips for this sale around Friday or later

    • Tlc_angel64

Ok a friend of mine in FL used a 4/10 a 3/10 a 2/8 and three 1/3 on the smart source meals she had 10 meals total and they were all MF coupons. They accepted this and it rang through….Is thsi legal??? Am I missing something?! LOL Now I am confused in my coupon ways!!

      • Val

She didn't follow the correct terms on the coupons so, what your friend did was wrong. Registers aren't perfect which is why you see many cashiers these days verifying coupon usage.

        • Tlc_angel64

Thats what I thought! Thanks for the input.

    • Couponsforcorinne

Does anyone know if the Publix on Ben Sawyer in Mt. P accepts any competitors coupons besides Target? Thanks!

      • That's the store that I use. They will accept Earth Fare, Whole Foods, and Harris Teeter coupons. Look VERY carefully at the circulars in your paper, as Harris
Teeter publishes a $10 off of any $40 purchase (only in Mt. P, and only good for Mt. P stores) in their circular that the Publix on Ben Sawyer honors. It's awesome!

      • CCShad

If you want to drive further, the other 2 Mt. P. stores take Target, CVS, Riteaid, Walgreens, WalMart, Kmart, HT, Whole Food, Food Lion and Piggly Wiggly coupons!

    • jennaj81

the 5# bags of red potatoes in Locust Grove, GA had “$0.60 off potatoes when you buy Breakstones sour cream” coupons on them. really nice when paired with the $1/2 Breakstones coupon. I got 2 bags of potatoes and 2 sour creams for $6.03. Not bad.

    • Tgrant

They will not take the .55/1 Lay’s potato chips, 10 oz +, SS 3/13 because it says Kettle on the coupon. They have changed their coupon system & said the coupon has to be an “exact” match up or the system will not accept it. I printed out 2 of the sour cream coupons and the system was reading it as an “invalid” coupon. I assured the cashier I did have 2 of them; same thing with the $1 off Yoplait Yoplus. I do think the extreme couponers are causing stores to be VERY strict with couponers now.

      • troygrad

There were two coupons in my insert for the lays chips….one was for kettle cooked and one was for any lays…they were different colors. hth!

      • Smartblonde123

You should only use the coupons for the identical product listed on the coupon (brand, size, quantity, flavor etc).. Sometimes the coupons Jenny list don't always match up; that is why it is our responsibility as couponers to verify that we are using the coupon correctly.

    • Bridget072809

Does anyone here drink the Carnation Breakfast Drinks? My family buys them all the time. I've only been on this website for a weeks now and I haven't seen them on sale yet. I was wondering if anyone could tell me when the sale should come around again? I know it's every 6 weeks or so I'd like a heads up. Thanks.

      • Rashelle628

My son drinks those all the time and I have rarely seen them go on sale at Publix but my store has blinkies right now for them $1 off so I grabbed a bunch hoping for a sale, maybe your store will have the blinkies too. hth

      • Michelle

ALWAYS check price per serving/ oz with these! They do not regularly go on sale. The best price per oz is usually to buy the big can and use a coupon with that…..even with a “sale” on the packets + coupon it is cheaper to buy the can w/ coupon not on sale…..and that is just my experience….I tried buying the can at Walmart….my Walmart does not carry the canned version, but Publix does. The price book is very important here. its still cheaper than pediasure if your just looking to put a little weight on your child (which is why I buy it).

        • Bridget072809

Thank you! My son will be two in July. Is it okay for him to drink? He doesn't want to eat sometimes so we can give him pediasure to make sure he gets enough nutrition for that day.

    • joaniec

Noticed a $1.50 off Renyolds wrap coupon SS 4/10 to go with the Renyolds wrap on sale for $2.99.

      • BLG

it is for the reynolds wrap and parchment paper at the same time…or at least it was in my insert.

      • Jen

Thats actually for both the foil and partchment paper, but you can use the .50 off and makes it $1.99 which isn't horrible! :)

        • joaniec

oops, Thanks Jen, I guess I got excited when I saw the $1.50 and didn't read the rest of the coupon!

    • Boldingc1

Not sure if this has been added yet but the Quaker Granola Publix coupon has to be 18 count or great so it doesn't apply to the B1G1 at Publis right now :(

    • Emcredmond

Why do I feel like the sales circular from Publix is the same exact one from last week?

      • Tigress1321

because this is a 10 day long ad so it is.

        • Emcredmond

          ahhhhh, gotcha. Thanks.

    • crystalfawn

MONEY MAKER! Snapple has a rebate posted in Publix as a tear off. For a full rebate of the purchase price of ANY Snapple 6 pack (up to $6.99). In addition, there is a $1.00 coupon out there making it a money maker :-)

      • Skmartinez77

        in the store?

        • crystalfawn

Yes, My store in Longwood Florida (Sweetwater Oaks) had a display of the new Snapple products on an endcap and there was a tear off pad of rebates that are actually good on any Snapple 6 pack not just the ones on display. Hope you find it!

    • CCShad

Today I bought 4 Coke 12-packs for about $1.25 each!
I bought the 4 Cokes, the penny item pnut butter and a $50 Amex gift card along with the store $10 off coupon.
My total was $55.30 and I paid with another $50 Amex gift card I bought the other day. So, OOP was $5.30!

      • crystalfawn

Don't you just LOVE the Amex card deal! It's a $5.05 profit :-)

      • crystalfawn

BTW how did you manage to get the Cokes for $1.25????

        • CCShad

Somehow, the Amex deal makes more than $5.05. I also got a .97 transaction discount and .85 regular tax deduction. (?) The Cokes should have been $12 for 4, but with the above credits ($6.87), only $5.30 for all 4.

          • crystalfawn

Hmm…very cool!!!! I am in Florida and we don't have penny items etc. so I wonder if it is something to do with your state and tax laws or something. I will have to check my receipt. Thanks so much for answering!!!

      • Shimpfriedrice

Uh, you paid for that gift card….So in essence it DOES come out of your pocket.

        • CCShad

Actually, I traded one $50 gift card for another and made $6.87 towards the Cokes.

    • crystalfawn

Bertolli had a $1.50 off 2 coupon come out this past Sunday and combined with the Target $1.00 off 2 makes it .75 cents a jar. We love their Alfredo.

    • Larbars

Did anyone else notice that the Stocking Spree coupon for Quaker Granola bars is only good for the 18ct. and the 10ct. are the ones on sale?

    • Larbars

So I didn't have any coupons for Ritz or Wheat Thins, but I thought, “They're B1G1, so there's nowhere I could get them cheaper!” Well, today I decided to stop guessing. I went to ALDI, and I price-checked with their comparable products (which are really yummy, not like the Great Value brand that taste cheapo/stale). So, their “Wheat Thins” are $1.29 for 10 oz.(.40 difference), and their “Ritz” are $1.59 for 16 oz.(.30 difference). They are still cheaper than the name brands at half off! I couldn't believe it. I go to so much trouble and time (you all know!) to plan my penny-pinching shopping trips, and all I had to do was go to ALDI. LOL, okay, now it sounds like I'm trying to advertise for them. But I just wanted to let you all busy moms know what I have found! And their 12-double roll toilet paper is $4.49! I spent more than that earlier this week couponing at Rite Aid. So, look to see if you have an ALDI close to you, if you feel like couponing is taking too much of your time. I still get great deals couponing, but I can do most of my shopping (with almost zero prep!) going to ALDI.

      • LindaB

I find a lot of good produce buys at ALDI…

      • kristenk

it all depends tho… I have gotten so many items for free at publix, and you probably can't do that often at aldi!! also, if i need a lot of grocery items that aren't on sale at publix, i go to walmart, b/c they are cheaper than regular priced stuff at publix.

      • Yuppiepup

Aldi has the best Private Label products out there and their produce and meat is almost always less expensive than Publix……I do my couponing and then make an Aldi trip about every 3 weeks to do fill ins and to get milk, eggs, and produce!

    • Frustrated

I love Publix and coupons. But I am so frustrated, seems there is no consistency in knowledge and application of coupons with the Publix cashiers. Can't they train them to be consistent. And yes, I am one of those people that does not want to make a big deal about a 50 cent coupon so I just say forget it. It was like a dominio effect today when the cashier didn't know what to do, she asked every cashier to her left and right….publix should not put their customers in this position. I know most of you would say so what…and get over it,,,,,,and I will.

      • Supomo

50 cent is a lot especially if it doubles. next time there is an issue, just ask to see someone from customer service. they will be able to help you and the issue will be solved a lot faster.

      • stephc23

Lucky for me, my cashiers just put everything through I hand them, and I try hard to be accurate w/coupons vs. what I purchased, so it's not like I'm trying to trick them or anything, but they are not picky at all about forcing things through the computer won't take. I guess it depends on the store and the cashier.

      • Kim

I understand your frustration. The store closest to me has the same situations. I know the reputation of the manager which isn't good and that throws the balance of great service. The cashiers may do what they feel the corporate policy states, but still has to abide by the managers' policy. So depending on which manager is working at the time you are shoping, will depend on which coupons you can use. I only shop at the store closest when I don't have anything that might be questionable. I enjoy shopping at the one further down the road better anyhow. They are so pleased to see my bill drop as i am.

    • crystalfawn

Here is a great deal on Bird's Eye Frozen Brown Rice. It is healthy, cooks in the microwave in minutes and is 14.5 cents after this scenario…
      6 brown rice at 50% of 1.79= 5.37
      Subtract 3 Publix coupons 1.00/2 so $5.37-$3.00 = $2.37
      Subtract 2 Man. coupons .75/3 so $2.37-$1.50 = .87 cents for 6 bags or
      14.5 cents each

      • Supomo

there is a 35 cent off bird's eye lightly sauced frozen, 10 of those + 5 publix coupons and you get it free + 90 cent off the rest of your grocery bill

        • crystalfawn

Sounds good except my beloved brown rice has no sauce. Amazing deals though on the Bird's Eye huh?!!!

          • Supomo

yeah. since i have started using coupons, i have been eating whatever i had coupons for and in turn have been eating things i've never tried before. bird's eye for one is one of my favorite name brands now

    • Kdc7703

can someone tell me if you can use the buy 1 birds eye voila family size and get one veg. stam fresh free with the $3 off voila coupon thanks.

      • Gatorginger

Yes you should be able to use the $3.00 coupon because your paying for the viola, you can't use a coupon on the free one because the coupon is for the free one. Hope this helps

      • Quinngt

You should be able to, both coupons state “One coupon per purchase” and you are purchasing 2 items, so the coupon for the BOGO is for the veggies and the $3 is for the Voila… I just wish I got this coupon for when the Voila were BOGO, which was just a week or 2 ago, I think :(!

      • darbe

im in central fl and none of the publix in my area carry the family size size veg, have anyone found it in their area?

    • Vehightower

I just moved to GA from AK, where do you get the yellow and green advantage flyers?

      • Vehightower

They weren't in front of the store where the weekly ads were

      • Twi11iams78

        Customer Service Desk!

      • kristenk

they're usually where the weekly ads are, but if you get the AJC, they come in the paper (not every week tho)

    • Karen

Can you combine the Get a FREE HUGGIES Baby Wipes Tub Publix store coupon with the Save .50 cents on any one package of HUGGIES baby wipes manufacturers coupon?

      • Gatorginger

        Yes you can Karen

        • Karen

          Thank you!

      • kristenk

I used the store coupon for “get free wipes WYB huggies diapers” and they would not let me use the mf coupon on the wipes. she said you can't use a mf coupon when the store coupon makes it free. maybe it will be different for you!

    • CCShad

    • Amy

Just found this out: The Jones Sausage Q's don't match the product. The Q states for $2/2 Any Jones RAW Sausage & the sale is on any “Golden Brown” (i.e. cooked Sausage). Thought it might help someone!

      • Courtney

Yes I found that out after I purchased 2 of the raw packs and they rang up 3.99 each not included in BOGO. Now I am stuck with them because I didn't check receipt till I got home.

    • Guest

I've got the $1.50/2 Q for the Bertolli, but I don't have the target Q…..is it still a good deal with only the MQ……it makes it $1.25 each…..I'm becoming a cheap-o and $1.25 for spaghetti sauce sounds a little steep….LOL…. :)

    • kristenk

does anyone know when jenny is going to post the ad that starts monday? i see it's up on i heart publix, but i have a hard time following that site! i need to go to the store, but trying to decide if I should go ahead and shop for the next week, or wait to find out what's on sale starting monday.

      • guest

I read somewhere she is putting out tomorrow.

    • Jaimee

I was told at Publix in Sptbg for the first time the other day on the Heluva Good dip– that they would only accept one manufacturer coupon, on the product I'm buying, not on the one they are giving me for free. I even spoke with the manager. I know I have done that before on a couple occasions and didn't think I was cheating the system or anything… I teach people how to coupon and don't want to give them the wrong idea. Anyone else experience this? Is this a recent change?

      • Quinngt

You were not doing anything wrong, you were stacking a MQ with a SQ and should have been able to do it (it shouldn't matter if the SQ says $.50, $2 or free, stacking is still stacking). I have been in situations like this and just figure if they won't let me do it, they won't let me do it… But I also don't let them bully me either… I have them take it off my bill and they don't get the sale.

      • Christine

Well if you think about it, you are not buying the free item, they are giving it to you. I understand why you are not able to use a coupon for the second item in that situation.

        • Ptogroup

In other states, you are allowed to purchase one item when you have a sale of B1G1. In Florida you are not allowed to purchase one, therefore they are basically forcing you to pay full price, it is my understand that this is why we are allowed, by their corporate policy, to use two store and two manf coupons, one on each item purchase where they call it free or not. I would definately call their corporate office for their policy for your state.

          • Sandy

This is exactly right. You are allowed to use two coupons on b1g1 sales at Publix regardless if the item is rang up half off or one full price-one free. Contact customer service support. Your store needs to be informed of the correct policy.

            • Jaimee

The difference is that it actually wasn't a BOGO sale. It was the BOGO coupon from the advantage buy flyer for the Heluva Good dip. I can only remember once or twice having this situation before and I know I stacked the coupons then… but then again, I can understand not being able to take additional money off of an item they are giving you for free.

            • Erika

I like to look at a store coupon as a special store sale that only applies when you have that piece of paper. If you were in Florida (who has true b1g1) you would be able to use a manufacturer coupon on both products. I don't see why it would be any different in this situation. You used a store q for a b1g1 and two manufacturer coupons. Sounds legit! It's what you can do any other day of the when there is a sale. You win some and lose some I guess. =)

        • Jaimee

Right. I do too. And that's how the manager explained it. It makes sense but for some reason I wasn't expecting it to be that way and wasn't sure if that was the policy across the board or just a store to store variance. I'm assuming since the deal is posted here as being able to use both the BOGO Publix Q and 2 manufacturer Qs it must be allowed in at least some stores.

    • JYCrew

Can anyone tell me if 1.24 is rock bottom price on the smart balance spread. I am new at this and dont know if I should go a head and use all my coupons or just get a couple. Thanks.

      • I would say no. $1 off 2 isn't a good Smart Balance spread coupon IMO. If the sale also includes the sticks (which it may, and not be advertised), there's a $1 off 1 coupon, and I'd say that's a good deal.

    • Prsol

      Found a $2off 3 Hallmark cards today.
Used it with the coupon on the current ad, Page 12, for $5off a $25 Gift card when you buy $5 in Hallmark cards.
Got my cards for $3, my Gift card for $20, and selected a restaurant that usually has coupons in the Sunday inserts for $5off on 2 dinners. I think it's a decent deal, especially since I was going to pay full price at the restaurant anyways. :-)

    • bolessd

after my complaint, the store manager called me back and apologized. It wasn't just the issue with the RR, it was more the attitude of the cashier that really bothered me, however, the manager did tell me that if the RR stated “manufacturer coupon” and met all the criteria of a mq and the register accepted it when it was scanned, it was okay to use them. He told me if it was ever an issue again, to request to see him and he would straighten it out =) maybe I'll give it another shot.
but I'm not sure I understand the difference, if it's a mq that is being reimbursed by a company, why does it matter if it's for a specific item or $ off total purchase??

      • Erika

Register Rewards are created between Walgreens and various manufacturers to market their products so, there is a big question on whether or not another store will receive credit for the coupon. The coupon scans at the register because of it's coding; the amount the coupon is for is imbedded in the barcode. Many mangers don't think it's something that would make it through the Clearinghouse for them to receive credit so, they won't accept them.

Walmart released a coupon policy a few months ago saying they would take catalina coupons with other stores logos on them. Coupon blogs were celebrating saying, “use your RR at Walmart!” (Even happened here on SS) About a week later they had to clarify the policy by saying that they would not take coupons for dollars off an entire basket purchase (ie. Walgreen's Register Rewards). Is it because they weren't getting reimbursed for them? Possibly… Something definitely generated the change.

I suppose you would just call this YMMV. Some managers will and others won't. It sounds like you found a manager that will so, stick with it, but if you find yourself time after time having to explain what they are it's probably not worth it. Good luck!

    • Angel

Need clarification please… can I use a B1G1 Store Q on the Heluva Good Dip combined with another B1G1 Store Q or should I use a B1G1 Store Q combined with (2) 50cent off Manufacturer Qs?? Which is accurate for Publix? Thanks so much.

      • Jaimee

Just my experience– You can try to use a store BOGO with 2 manufacturer Qs. Just be sure it's worth it to you to make the purchase if they should say they'll only take 1. Just a little FYI– The bacon-horseradish Heluva was on closeout at Bi-Lo the other day and with my $0.50/1 Q got it for $0.04! : )

        • Angel

Thanks for replying and thanks for the heads up regarding Bi-Lo… I don't have that store in my area, though!

      • Michelle

I used the B1G1 publix yellow coupon and (2) 50cent manQs that doubled, and got both dips for free.

    • Neeta

Just had the best grocery shopping experience. I saved 26.20 using coupons and saved 52.92 in BOGOs for a total of 79.12 in savings. On my way home I put 45.00 in the gas tank and I'm still ahead for the week. Can't wait for next weeks sale to come out! Not bad for a first timer using your site. I just think I didn't even have all the coupons needed!. I know I'm only going to get better with time. I wish you could see the smile on my face when I left the store.

    • Stephanisat

I just had a fantastic trip to Publix (Cruse Marketplace in Cumming, GA). I had to wait until the last day to stock up because I've been sick, but even so everything but one item was there. I went to customer service to get my raincheck for Hellmann's Mayo, when the manager said, “We have that in the back, I'll get you some.” The customer service representative still gave me the rain check. I LOVE my Publix.

    • Nanleigh10

Publix coupons matched with mfg coupons – I got a friend of mine Poise Pads ($5.59) for .59 at Publix today!!! Love Publix – total bill $79.99 before coupons – paid $20.22.

    • Julie

I need clarifiation please. I bought 2 Helluva dips, each $2.09, used BOGO, had $2.09 taken off at register plus a .50 q that doubled for $1 off. So, I spent a $1 for 2 dips. How are others getting it for free?

      • karen

Since you are buying two, you should've used 2. So, basically you were paying .9 cents for both.
