It’s another week for Publix,  I get kind of tired of making lists sometimes but I do love that every few days there are new deals!!!  This week there are three changes.  First the obvious you now can make a list straight from this site!  Second my husband helped me tremendously by typing out the deals but he thought my way of keeping the full price on B1G1 deals was too confusing so each item is listed at the sale price.  (For Florida folks, just multiply the price by 2). **Don’t worry this is only this week**

The third change this week is that I have added into the deals below what deals I think are the best buys from the two advantage buy lists.  There are other deals in those lists go here to see everything.

Now for coupon policies:shoppinglist1

Remember:
1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price **
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are.50¢ or less **

** #1 and #5 do not apply in FL and coastal GA**

What a sweet husband you have to type the list up for you! That was very considerate of him… although I’m so used to doing the math myself that now I can’t seem to stop adjusting them automatically! I’ll get used to it eventually. Thanks for all of your help! I have NO ROOM WHATSOEVER in my freezer and pantry. What a good problem to have!

    • Sherri

Thank you for the ability to print a shopping list! It helps ALOT!!!!!!

    • Amanda

      Thank you superwoman! (and hubby)

    • Cindy

Does anyone know what happened to the $1 off AJC coupon?

    • Sarah

I have to admit, I didn’t read the intro before I dove in to the deals, and I was soooo confused! I am one of those who live in FL, but I think I got the hang of it!

    • Jenny

We can change it back next week Sarah if all you Florida folks yell loud enough. He was focused on doing the best typing job that I didn’t have the heart to change it all :)

    • Amanda

There are coupons for Planters peanuts found in the Nabisco “save up to $55 throughout the school year” booklet. (I found mine in Kroger 3-4 weeks ago) Coupons are for $1/2 planters products and $1/1 NUT-rition (if the Nutrition kind are included)

    • Jen

      Jenny,
I went to Publix in Harbison yesterday and they said they no longer stack coupons. I can’t find their policy on their website. Do you know anything about this?

      • Darlene

Did you get a response in regards to your question…just wondering before I head out to Publix…Thanks

    • I am a Florida girl and am soooo confused and am begging you to change it back ;) Also, I’m sick so my brain is “slow” LOL I’ll look at this again tomorrow…wish me luck

    • Wendy

Wendy – we have the same name and the same “problem”, I can’t get one more thing into my freezer. I had to rearrange everything tonight just to squeeze in a couple more TGI Fridays frozen snacks from my Publix trip tonight :)

    • Kelly

The think the Ooltewah Publix still takes Walgreens coupons?

    • elana

I LIVE IN AN AREA IN ORLANDO , FL WHERE IT SEEMS LIKE NO ONE IS INTO COUPONS OR SAVING EXCEPT FOR ME =) SO E ERYONE WHO WORKS AT OUR PUBLIX LOVES TO HELP ME OUT (LUCKY ME!) AFTER MENTIONING MY COUPON HABIT, I’M GETTING MORE AND MORE MOTHERS TO JOIN IN ON MY WEEKY PULIX AND CVS RUN. THEY WERE ALL SHOCKED TO LEARN OF YOUR SITE AND COUPON MATCH UPS. WE HAVE ALL TURNED THIS INTO A BIT OF A COMPETITON. THANK YOU SO MUCH, I CAN’T EVEN IMAGINE THE AMOUNT OF WORK THIS TAKES. THANKS ,ELANA

    • Jill

I am loving this new list! It is wonderful. I’ve been couponing for about 5 months now and love your site. It’s my favorite, but this new way is terrific!!

Great job to both of you and way to go!!

    • elana

I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND I LIKE THE NEW WAY. I DON’T NEED TO FIGURE OUT THE PRICE EACH ONE ENDS UP BEING AFTER 2 COUPONS DIVIDED BY 2. ANY CHANGE IS DIFFICULT IN THE BEGIGNG BUT IT REALLY DOES MAKE SENSE.

    • elana

I JUST TRIED TO CREATE THE PRINTABLE LIST AND IT WOULDN’T , DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY?

    • Wendy

Wendy- (The “other” Wendy #10 LOL)

That is so funny! And it was tonight that the TGI Friday’s frozens sent me (or rather my freezer) over the edge! HAHA!

    • Wendy

Has anyone been able to print the $20 rebate Jenny mentioned from Nabisco? The link sends me to the coupon book, but I’m having trouble finding rebate form. Any suggestions?

Jenny- I was only teasing about the “new” system- I’ll take the information in ANY shape or form you want to provide it- just so happy to have it all in the first place! :)

    • Jenny

      Wendy,

The rebate isn’t an online printable. That link is to take you to the booklet so you can get the rebate in that by mail.

    • Amy

Amanda #7 – I am pretty sure that Nabisco Save $55 booklet has specific months that the coupons are “only good for” on them. I believe the Planters you refer to are good in 2010 .. I’ll look in mine to double check … but HEADS UP ON THAT NOTE!

    • Meredith

Publix at Lee Branch in Bham still takes Walgreens Q’s–Lucky us!!

    • toney

Very cool features, Jenny! I tried the grocery list maker, and it left off a couple of items. Not a big deal, but I wanted to let you know. Really neat idea though!

    • Michele

Jenny, Love the list. You are amazing. I’ve made trips to both Publix and Kroger this week. I spent $126 for $313 of groceries. Saving money this way is sooooo much better than looking for a job that would take me away from my kids.

    • Beryl

I love the new layout and print option. I just don’t understand how you pull all this info together! You are a Wizard. Beryl

    • Jenny

      Toney,

I just went and checked and caught the Friendship sour cream and fixed it. Were there any others that it did not show that you remember? It is all in the html coding that is behind everything and I’m still learning what to type :)

    • Lisa

      Hey Jenny

My spare refrigerator broke 2 weeks ago. My repair man is not cooperating and does not seem to understand the urgency of my coupon madness so my husband is going to take a stab at the job. Keep your fingers crossed. I sure need the room.

Thanks for everything that you do. Loved the old way better, though. I’m in Florida and it is SOOOO much easier the old way. Which is why I have ALWAYS been a fan of the site. It is SOOOO user friendly. I think this new way is a little bit difficult.

      *****
      Don’t Worry it’s just this week…

    • I ove the new features, and the new SS’s printed list is easier to read than the cut-and-paste ones I make. THANKS!

    • kristi

i’m not in love with your hubby’s way of doing things. old habits die hard. but i do love that you can print a list. even though i usually make my list from my laptop (which doesn’t have a printer) then email it to myself and print it, i will now have to go to my desk top to work. all the changes will take some time getting used to. i’ve been doing this since may 2009 and i save an average of 67% at publix and 87% at cvs. i’m very proud of what i’ve accomplished and can’t wait for the seminar tomorrow.

    • Dee

Hey — I have been “couponing”since August — making massive headway and loving it! I must admit, I like the old-format, but purely out of habbit — I will NOT COMPLAIN! We all appreciate any way the information comes — you put so much into this.

As for the AJC Coupon, I called and they said the promotion os O-V-E-R! Maybe if enough of us int he Atlanta area call they will bring it bak….it is worth a try!

    • Michelle

i vote for liking the new way of doing things!

    • kimberly

      i LOVE the list!

    • My area Publix’s have the 4.x oz Glade Soy Candles for $2.99 each, so you get a better candle completely free!!

    • Diane

In the Food Lion Healthy Community booklet there is a store coupon to save $1.50 on any one Breyers Ice Cream….making them only $1! Stock up price :)

    • Oh, and please count this as one more vote for the old way of listing B1G1 prices. The old way seems to be the standard across most of these websites. Whatever you decide, though. I’m a mom…I’m used to adapting. LOL

    • Ln

I was just going to write the same thing Nathalie did. The larger candles were on sale for 2.99 at my store too. I was able to get them on Sun.

    • Hi Jenny, I am so loving the new features. Thanks so much!!!

    • Suzanne

Wow Jenny, love the new printable shopping list! Just took me 10 minutes to do what usually takes over an hour! Thanks for all the hard work and effort you (and your husband) put into helping others.

    • Becky

Thank you so much! I can’t tell you how many people I have told about this site. Your work makes my life so much easier. The new shopping list function just makes it even better!

    • Tracie

There is a a BOGO coupon for The Goodlife Recipe Dry Cat Food in the Savings for All Seasons Coupon Book.

    • Krystal

I definitely prefer the old way! It is really difficult to have to keep track of how non Florida Publixes double fifty cent coupons AND don’t do a true “BOGO.” It’s easier to have to worry about only converting one difference to come up with my Florida price.

Also, I really struggle to read comments typed in all caps. Is it possible to only use caps for emphasis?

    • Lori

      Jenny,
Ok i even read the top “notes” first and still kept cutting the prices in half! LOL Guess it’s just become 2nd nature now, haha. But it was very sweet of ur hubby to help :)

    • Lori

Thank you so much for doing these match ups! I love the new option to make a shopping list! Saves me from printing the entire list every week!

      Thank you!!

    • April

Just wanted to say I agree with Krystal – we FL people already have to remember to not double coupons, adding having to double the BOGO as well is a little difficult!
That being said, I appreciate all you do and I’m sure I’ll get used ot this format if I need to! Thanks for all you do!

    • Damien

I actually like the way of doing it where you show the price per unit. Maybe it is just a guy thing, but that just makes sense because whether you are buying 1 or 2, the bottom line is “How much am I paying for each one?” This is especially true for the non-Florida people who can buy 1 or 3 or 5 and still get the deal. Also, when I cut and paste (have not tried your new system yet, I have to keep the B1G1s separate or specially mark them with a “B1G1” label so I know which deals are on two and which ones are on single buys. Everything else on your site is marked for price per unit (including when you calculate the price after coupons on the B1G1s).

So, basically, I vote for the new way, but if you want to do it the old way, that is okay. The important thing is that you make all our couponing so much easier and help us to save a great deal of money!!!

    • libby

ok for the but one get one deals the price is in half so I justneed to double it because I am Florida?

    • lynn

I think it is great that hubby helped you….. but yes another florida ionput here please for the love of god go back to the old way.. thank you so much for all your hard work i dont think any of us could be jenny for a day looking like a slow week here as every one has said tgif has put my freezer over the top mind ou i am not complaing wish i could find those smart ones maf coupons then i would be doing great …..

    • lynn

oh yeah almost forgot I LOVE the create a list means less work on my end yippy thank you

    • lynn

the weight watchers seems to have reached print limit cause i have never printed them and it says i have already printed it

    • Stephanie

I just wanted to throw out there that in the Publix Pre-Game Savings booklet, there is a coupon for buy 1 Marzetti Regular or Fat Free Caramel Apple Dip and receive $1 off any bagged or bulk apples — and there is a 3 lb. bag of apples on sale for $3.49. Also, in my Sunday circular last week, I got a coupon for $.75 off the dip.

    • Thank you so much for adding some of the advantage buy deals! I always forget about them when I make my weekly list.

    • Carrie

Jenny, I am new at this particular website. I have been trying to figure it out over the last few weeks. Publix is my main shopping store long before online help sites. I appreciate the time you’ve put into this list not to mention making it *free* to the public. I love that I figured out how to make a print list for the first time this week. Can’t believe I wasted money paying the other site to do less than what you are doing! Your coupon links are very helpful. I hope your husband knows that I appreciate him helping you even though it was work, he got to spend time with his wife. And that’s what the whole husband-wife thing is about. :)

      Carrie

    • Lynn

That was very sweet of him. It’s nice to have a great hubs, isn’t it? It’s six of one and 1/2 doz. of the other really. If you have a $1 of one coupon you don’t have to divide and then subtract to get the final price. But, if you have $ off of two, you have to multiply and then subtract. I think i like the other way better. g

      Thanks for the list part.

    • Kristan

I like the old way better too….. I am however touched that your sweet hubby typed it out for you!! PRECIOUS… maybe just tell him that his way is SO much easier…. but us women just like doing things the hard way sometimes…. Praise God for your sweet Hubby!!

    • Kristan

#49 Carrie – out of ALL the on-line blogs I have looked through JENNY’s by FAR has THE BEST PUBLIX ADS – JENNY’S IS THE BEST – and I swear I don’t really “know her” ! LOL! seriously

    • Julie

I have to agree…you have a sweet husband but I like your way better Jenny!! I’m used to it!

    • rebecca

where can you get the food lion healty community booklet? can you apply online for any of food lions booklets?

    • Kathryn

      Hi Jenny

Thanks for everything you do. I’m in Florida and I prefer the old way better- it was much easier to understand.

    • Stephanie

This is AWESOME…the printable list is GREAT!!!! Thank you!!!!

    • Anne

Does anyone know of a zipcode that will work for the mahatma rice?

Also, I love the shopping list feature. Really great!

    • Jessie

Thanks for this… I am in Florida… And I just think you are a blessing to helping me save $$. I can multiply by 2 or whatever you need!! Just don’t stop! You just do whatever makes it easier for you. I am a single Mom working full-time, and YOU make my life easier and help me save $$.

    • Jenny, you never cease to amaze me with the ways this site evolves and you make it better and better. I know it must be hard sometimes to keep pushing on and not get burned out from all of the work. Please know that you are invaluable and so much appreciated!

    • Love the new printable list feature! Thanks for your family’s hard work!

    • This is the deal I got on The Goodlife Recipe cat food last week:

Bought a bag of cat food & treats

      Used:

      -$2 m/f coupon from 8/16 RP
-Publix Buy a bag of GL cat food, get GL cat treats free coupon (from the “savings for all seasons” pet coupon book from Publix)
-$1 off GL treats m/f coupon

Got the food & treats for 50 cents!

    • FrugalMama001

The AngelSoft website is offering coupons! Just go to http://www.angelsoft.com and click on the coupons link, register and print TWO $0.50 coupons on 1- 6 rolls or larger. This can be used at Publix this week (sale $5.49)!

    • MW

THOMASVILLE Ga will take Walgreens coupons – I bought Viactiv the other day with a $3/2 man. $3 off Publix and let me use a $4 off Walgreens coupon – FREE for something that is normally about $7.50!!

    • Stephanie

Girl! I love the new printable list! It saves me so much time!

Just another reason to refer all my friends to Southern Savers!

    • On a budget

BTW, Publix says they no longer accept Target coupons as Target is not considered a grocery store.

    • Catherine

OMG I LOVE the shopping list feature!! Thank you so much!

    • I don’t know if anybody else has said this yet but there is a Target coupon for $1 off Slim Fast also. http://www.afullcup.com/target-coupon-generator

    • Sasha

I love being able to print the list! My computer printed it very small–so start hunting for some ‘reading glasses’ deals. Ha!

You keep outdoing yourself, my friend.
      Sash

    • Susan

I love your new list! I usually select the list and print it because I have trouble reading on the computer. The boxes are great for checking off which deals I want to get! Thanks for the extra effort!

    • Amy

Thanks Jenny’s Husband! Love the new list.. so much easier for me. I was pasting onto a work Doc and then having to go back and forwth for coupon links… YEAH..

Yes,,#47 Lynn.. I’m having the same problem too!

    • Learning2CouponFL

It probably makes me a total dork, but as I’m driving into work in the morning, thinking about what I need to do when I get here and I realize that it’s Wednesday so you’ll have the new Publix deals up I get excited, like there’s a surprise waiting for me at the office!

I live in Florida so I like it when you listed the price for the set, not per item, since I have to buy two. It makes it easier to see kind of where I’ll be at total-wise, plus then I can think “Do I really want to spend $5 on crackers this week?” But it wasn’t too hard to double it as I pasted the match-ups into Notepad so I could live with it either way.

    • Shannon

      Hello,
Thank you so much for all that you do. What a selfless thing you do for all of us. We apprecitae your time. Im in Fl so I defiantely vote in the other way back. My brain is trained to the other way. Thanks again.

    • I’m with hubby on the price listing. It just takes one more step out of the process. I’ve always wondered why it was not like that in the first place.

      D

    • Karen

Love, love, love the printable list!!!!!
Thank you and your husband for your hard work!

    • Shannon

Doe anyone in florida get the “one stop one store” booklet…Im looking for the glade $2 coupon

    • Amy

Your husband is wonderful. I really like not having to divide the price in half. I would love for you to keep that format!!

WHY are the rules different in FLORIDA and the snippy store in Beaufort, SC?

The store in Duncan, SC takes Walgreens. That just one of the many reasons why shopping really is a pleasure there.

    • mel

love your new improvements!! your husband ROCKS!

    • Michelle

“I’m with hubby on the price listing. It just takes one more step out of the process. I’ve always wondered why it was not like that in the first place.”

What she said! LOL And I also agree with the person who said the list printed out microscopically. I really couldn’t read it, so I just cut and pasted it like I used to, which is fine with me!

    • Kelly

Are you kidding me. This printable list is unbelieveable. I can’t believe the time this is going to save me.

    • Lane

Just had to put my vote in for your hubby’s way of pricing the list, although I can see merit in putting the ad price as well. Being a spreadsheet/data geek, part of me would love to see columns with both prices shown. :-) I’ll even help!

Thanks to both of you for your help and I look forward to trying the printable list when my printer is willing to print in color again! What a great feature. I also like the hyperlinks you’ve included to the various categories in each list. Way to go, AGAIN!

    • Tarrah R.

MW #59- I did the SAME thing at my Publix with the Viactiv! Isn’t it wonderful!??! They actually ended up Paying me over $4.00 to take ove $139.00 of items out of the store. WOOHOO!

Jenny- I am a Florida shopper, and I’ve ALWAYS divided the price of BOGO anyway because I like to know what I am paying per item, and if its worth it. I think your Hubby had a great idea in doing the list this way. Thank you to you and your Husband. God bless!

Oh, and same as Anne, #55- anyone get the Mahtma Rice coupon? If so, which Zip? Thanks.

    • Janet

I liked it better when you listed the full price. It’s as though my mind calculated from that number automatically since that’s the way the site has been since I started using it. I’m glad to hear you’ll be going back to the old way next time. Thank you.

    • D.W.

ok so i’m a florida shopper and i didn’t not read the intro at first….guess i should have!! i was so excited thinking publix was having some super sale with half price items and then bogo! oops!! that would have been awesome though…oh well, still some good deals though. thanks for all you do and thanks for adding the list feature!! i used to copy and paste each item i wanted to buy that week, this just saves me some time!! thanks again

    • Tarrah R.

Jenny- One more thing; Thank you for adding Walgreens, CVS, and Target coupons- they are the ONLY (besides Winn-Dixie whom never have coupons) competitors in my area, so its so very helpful to see there are coupons for them listed.
LOVE the new shopping list feature!

    • Stacey

I love the click and create grocery list and i like the new way of listing B1G1, it takes one step out of it if you have an odd number of coupons. Thanks for all you and hubby do!

    • Mandie

I like the new way!! :) But the old way works too so whatever works for you :)

      Mandie

    • Jenn

Thank you so very much for creating the print your list option, that is such a wonderful idea and I love it. You and you’re family are such a blessin to so many, thank you!!

    • Kelly

Can’t find the Beggin’ Strips or the Mahatma Rice printable. What zip code should I try?

    • Migs

      Hi Jenny!

I’m a South Florida couponer and while I liked the price per 2 items better than the new price per item, I LOVE the ability to print my shopping list! You’re amazing!!!! THANK YOU!!!

    • sloan

Anyone know a store in Greenville area that takes target coupons?

    • Stella

LOVE LOVE LOVE the printable grocery list!!!!!Thanks a million!

And, I’m happy with the prices no matter which way you want to list it (B1G1 or single item price), just as long as you list it! It’s awesome! Kiss your hubby for me!

BTW, if you don’t mind, keep listing Target coupons because the Publix stores in N AL take Target (some don’t take Food Lion) but Target stores are all SuperTargets here so they ARE direct competition for Publix here.

    • Stacy

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the ability to print my shopping list with the coupon info!!!!! I pray your site NEVER goes away. I don’t know what I would do without you!!

      Thanks for everyting,
      Stacy

    • Ln

I like the new way better! YAY for Jenny’s husband. Either way, someone is going to have to do a little extra work. For us non FL people, we’ve always had to divide the BOGO full price to get the half price, then double the coupon amount, and then subtract to get the amount per item. Now I just have to double my coupon amount and subtract from the already listed half price. Saves that division step. I know it adds a step to FL folks, but when you think about it, it would make the number of steps even between non FL and FL people. We would still have to double our coupon amounts, and FL would have to double the BOGO half price amount. With all that said, either way is fine because my brain is still wired for the old way, but has already adjusted to this new way. And the printable list option is awesome. I must say, though, that I am one that doesn’t want a lot of extra stuff on my list, so I create the printable list and highlight it and copy into a word document so I can delete the coupons I don’t have that are listed. This way I can also type in how many of each item I need, the amount of each coupon I have, and the total I will spend on each item. I can also type in additional coupons that I have for a product that maybe Jenny didn’t have listed. I must say that I LOVE that the list is broken down into different parts of the store…i.e. frozen, produce, etc. I used it this morning to shop and wow, I didn’t have to back track the store at all. Of course, when I put my list in the word document I moved the BOGO items into the appropriate category and I just typed BOGO beside them in all caps so I’d know which ones they were. Okay, I better go. I have already typed way too much and people are probably thinking….man, she wrote a dissertation about her grocery list.

    • Angie

Thanks for all your hard work and the new printable grocery list!!!!!!
P.S. Tell your hubby thanks also!!

    • allison

Love, love, love the list option! Thank you so much for the time you invest into your site. It really helps us out!

    • Sandy

I’m so confused. Here in south Georgia we are like the FL folks.
I vote for the old way. Thanks to your hubby for helping!

    • Lisa

I just started using your site a couple weeks ago so having everything switch has made it very confusing. I hope you go back to the way that I was already trying to get used to! Thanks!

    • brandi

I just wanted to say THANK YOU Jenny for all the time, and hard work you put into this service! So many other sites CHARGE for what you do. My suggestion to all those that complain about a BLESSING, learn to appericiate! You save everyone so much time, research and effort. I can’t believe people have the nerve to be picky about how you post deals! I’m a Southern Saver fan for life!!!!

    • Tamara

      Jenny,
I love the new create a list option. Makes my life so much easier :)

    • CJ

Jenny, you are (as usual) AWESOME! I just started playing with the printable list feature, and I love it! I’m in GA so the price per unit works for me… but I’ll do the math if need be.

And I read a comment above about the list printing tiny? I fixed that by going to File->Print Preview->Print Setup in the browser where list will print. I chose it to display “100%” instead of “Shrink to Fit” and that fixed it!

    • Allison

Does anyone know the trick to get the Sorrento Snack Cheese coupon on Smartsource?

    • I live in Kissimmee, Florida I found this site from someones word of mouth, this is the best site ever to help anyone save!

Thank you both for all your hard work to help people like me!
I do really well every time I shop at Publix saving like $80 or more a trip!

FYI – Do you ladies realize that eBay sells great unused coupons?

    • CONNIE

I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO PRINT THE COUPONS WITHOUT JAVA. I CANNOT ACTIVATE IT ON MY COMPUTER. HELP

    • Ashley

How cool is the printable list!?! Thanks so much!!

    • Diane

Rebecca (56)…I picked them up in the Food Lion at the Peak exit in Irmo. They were at the service desk.

    • Kerri

I like the old way better! I was a little confused and had to read the list multiple times for it to click….Thanks for everything!!

    • lynn

shannon i am in the tampa bay area and we got that copupons book

    • Kristi #28 – and others

Download the free pdf printer from cutepdf.com. It will install as a printer option and you can print the list on your laptop directly to a pdf file which you name and save. Then attach that to your email and send to your desktop. I use it for a lot of stuff when I want a record but do not want to kill a tree.

There are other free ones also that are good, this is just the one I use.

    • Allison #100

There were a couple of packages with peel off $1 q’s on them at my Publix yesterday. 12 sticks for 1.99. I could not get the Sorrento q on smartsource either.

    • For you Dr. Pepper fans, there is a q for $2 off 3 bottles (2 liter) in the Adv buy. The Nippers Corner Publix had it on sale at $4/3 so $.66 a bottle after coupon.

    • Traci M.

      Love the printable list.
Vote for the new way on B1G1 pricing ! Makes it easier !

    • Kim

WOWOWOWOWEEEEE!!!!! LOVE the not having to divide the prices before subtracting the q’s to see what I will actually have to pay-it takes SO much time out of my list making. I can understand why Floridians would like it the other way, but WOW THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!! GREAT idea Jenny’s hubby!!!!

And I had noticed the list on Sunday when I went to make out my Kroger list – awesome option as well!!! Thanks for all you guys do! It is very much appreciated!!!!!

(PS – not trying to start a war with the FL’s, just VERY appreciative of how easy of a week it made for me. I’ve had a VERY sick little one, haven’t been able to leave the house, except for dr’s visits – he’s probably going to have to have surgery very soon- and have had even less time to get on-line to make out shopping lists…THANKS AGAIN JENNY!!!!)

    • Lindsay

Oh my goodness! The printable list w/ coupon matchups and the ability to add to the list is AWESOME!! You are AMAZING!!

    • Anna

THANK YOU!!! I love the new printable list. This made things so much easier.

    • kim

LOVE that i can print my coupons. btw, i live in GA … and use publix … if i have a vote! :)

    • I am having trouble — I can’t print coupons from the SmartSource site. It says that I have to enable my java. I have been printing from this site for quite sometime, but all of a sudden it won’t let me. My java is enabled. I also had a customer tell me the other day that she is having the same problem. Anybody out there have suggestions or having the same problem? HELP. This site has the best coupons.

    • I’m not a Fla. person but I have to say, I like the old way better. Love the new printable list.

    • Kim

I went to Publix today and asked the person at the customer service desk for coupons … they gave me tons! If you use their Huggies $2.00 store coupon, the Huggies manufact. coupon and Rite Aids $5 off $25 purchase coupon you can get a pack of diapers for $1.99 plus tax! I was also able to get the baby wash for free w/ $2 q’s from Huggies and the Huggies $1.50 q from Food Lion! Thought I would share in case anyone else needed a deal on baby stuff this week. :)

    • Love the shopping list option! Thank you for making my life much easier!

    • I love the new way!!!!!!! You gotta figure the majority of us are not in Florida so this is telling us what EACH ITEM COSTS. All the FL people have to do is multiple by 2! Kinda like we’ve been doing all along..ok, we’ve been dividing by 2 so basically, 6 of one – half dozen of the other. Let ’em work their math brains for a while…ha ha. Mine is tired!

    • Amy

I shop in Lexington SC and I am appalled at the rudeness and poor behavior some of my fellow couponers exhibit. It is never okay to yell at your cashier. Ask to speak to the manager if things are that bad. Then go to corporate if you need to.

I follow Southern Savers because I feel Jenny is an honest and ethical couponer. But you folks who “bend” (“break” is probably a more appropriate choice of word) the rules are giving her a bad name. Southern Savers did not “tell you” that Publix in SC had to accept a Harvey’s Q, or that you should demand overage on a FLIP, and Publix does not have to accept a rain check from 2008.

There are always going to be people who try to push that questionable coupon through — previous discussions about that issue have gone nowhere. We all have our versions of what is right and wrong in regard to coupons. However, Jenny has clearly stated policies on her site. Read them.

      “Please Remember:

      1. You store is allowed to decide who is a competitor. If you have no Harvey’s for 300 miles they aren’t going to take them.
      2. These coupons all say LIMIT 1 Print Per Day. Please honor that no matter the store you use them at!”

And when you get caught doing something against policy (ie using 14 Planters FLIPs in one transaction), please don’t tell the cashier that Southern Savers said this was okay. You all are smearing the reputation of a great site (and a great lady)!

    • Jenny totally needs a Facebook Fan Page. She’d have a ton of fans! :)

    • lynn

just so youknow that we in florida have been working our math brain as jenny list the price for coupons that are doubled we dont get to double here so we have to figure out our own cost for that and we dont mind because we are grateful to the wok jenny does

    • Rachel

I have to vote for the new way. I like the price per item for the BOGO. I don’t always buy two – but for as many coupons as I have. Thanks for all your hard work!

    • I am in zipcode 37043 and the Sorrento coupon still appears for me.

    • Ann

I’m a Non Florida resident so of course I prefer the new way. Thanks to you and your Husband for making the life of a busy Mom of 3 much easier. You are greatly appreciated!!!!

    • Jennifer

      #123 Amy,

I couldn’t agree more!!!!!! One more thing to add to the list. I was behind a customer buying the Life Savers that are on sale with a coupon “in” the bag. She asked the cashier for scissors to get the coupon out of each bag to use immediately. She had 30 bags!!!! Lets be courteous to customers around us. Saving money is cool & fun as long as we are honest. Thanks Jenny for all your hard work… and the husband too!!

    • Christine

I WILL TAKE IT ANY WAY YOU GIVE IT! YOU ARE SO AWESOME!

    • laurie

LOVE dividing the price! I can see it and it makes me see the “real” deal I am getting! I can do the math in my head, it is just kind of fun to see it typed out! THANKS for your constant tips!

    • Joy

Jenny – thank you for all you do. Can’t say it enough. Love the printable list. Will save me some cut and paste! I can go either way on the pricing. Used to the old way, and it helps the FL folks.

I have been at this for 4 months, with picky eaters, a $18 bag of dog food every three weeks and big time soda drinkers, that insist on cans.

After 4 months, I finally met my goal this week. I saved more than I spent with sodas too. Spent $68, saved $88. My bff was the only one who was as over the moon as I was. She started about 2-3 months ago and is totally jealous.

Thank you Thank you Thank you for this website and all the wonderful work you (and your hubby) put into it! God Bless!

    • Stephy

Please tell you husband that we all appreciate his help tremendously! And I LOVE the new changes! Thank you for all you do!

    • Caroline

Jenny or anyone that knows the answer…how long does it take before you can print a coupon again when you have reached your print limit? I got the Hebrew National hot dogs last time they were on sale but I can not print the coupon for the sale this week. I hope I’ll be able to print again!

Still saving lots of money though. I will only spend about $300 for groceries this month instead of the $800 or $900 I have been spending for my family of five!

    • Sandi

I’m a Florida girl too! PLEASE change it back!! Since we have to buy 2 anyway, it helps us keep track of our spending!! Thank you!! You are very much appreciated!!

    • Farrah

      Hey,
Has anyone received the $10 Publix gift cards from the Kraft rebate? I am still new to rebates but I thought I did everything carefully, and I still haven’t gotten anything on it yet? What’s going on?? Can anyone let me know if they have received theirs or if I need to contact Kraft? Thanks for any input! P.S. Jenny, thank you for everything!!!

    • Amanda K

      Farrah,

I just received mine about a week ago, you will probably have yours soon.

    • Amy G

Zip Code for mahatma rice 85031

    • Lisa

If you have a Winn Dixie around you, they will print a $10 off $50 purchase coupon when you spend money there. I go get their deals then turn around and use that coupon at Publix!! I see it as getting my milk and OJ free every week!

    • Sharon C.

Awesome, awesome, awesome, Jenny!! I love the printable list!! You just keep outdoing yourself! Thanks to your hubby for helping you out this week, it’s such a big job you do for us every day. THANKS!!

    • Aymie

      Lisa
I NEVER shop at Winn Dixie… How will I know for sure that I will get my $10 off $50 even if I just buy a few things?

Jenny- I am here in FL and I do not mind either way!! Its not that bad having to “do the math” because half the time I have to do it anyways when you double the coupons that are $.50 or less and we do not double here…
      I appreciate it either way!

    • Aymie

      Farrah
I received mine a week or so ago, so depending on when you mailed your rebate, you should be getting it soon…

Has anyone gotten their $10 rebate from Kelloggs??

    • Kim (#120), thanks for posting the Huggies deal. I am helping a friend shop for her food pantry, and diapers is high on her list. She was given a $100 donation and asked me to do the shopping for her. I’ve got a bunch of those booklets, so I’ll be able to get a lot of diapers and wipes!!!

      Thanks!!

    • Sally

I love the ability to print the list also. The only problem I have is that it printed so small that I could hardly read it. I saw a lady in the store today and she had a printed list and the printing on hers was about twice the size. I asked her and she said she didn’t do anything it was just the way it printed. I came home and looked but I don’t see anywhere to make adjustments. Does anybody have a suggestion?

    • Kari

My Publix had Glade Fragrance Collection three wick candles on sale for $4.49 each. I used my $3.00 off and got it for $1.49. Not earth shattering, but I used to spend up to 20.00 on designer scented candles, so this Glade promotion has been a real treat for me!

    • Tina

I am LOVING the new printable list! Thank you for all that you do!!

    • Patti

Thanks to Jenny’s husband for the actual sale price! And I love the printable list. Way cool!

Thanks again for all you and your husband do!

    • LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you BOTH for your hard work!!!!

    • Anita

WOW! Thanks sooooooooo much. Being able to print my shopping list will save some time, which is great for a mom with three under 5! :) Thanks for all that you do!!

    • Kim

      Jenny,
I couldn’t believe what happened to me at Publix last week. I had 5 coupons that said “do not double” on them, but they had the little “5” on them, so they would have doubled electronically. When I checked my receipt, they were not doubled, but said “BONUS COUPON SUPPRESSED”. I called the store, spoke to the man that checked me out and he said he did that on purpose. I was shocked, but he said they are now being more careful about reading each coupon. Is there anything that can be done about that? That was a lot of money!! Also, at another Publix the manager said that corporate managment has told all Publix not to take Harvey’s coupons.

    • Hi Jenny,
I LOVE the shopping list and LOVE the price for each item rather than the BIGI price. I vote for doing it this way from now on :) I will take it either way though. I would LOVE to know how long this takes you everyday to keep up all of these stores. My friends and I discuss it all of the time. Do tell please :)

    • Denise.

      For Aymie #135
I mailed my rebate about a week before it ended. When did you mail yours that you received it already?
Thanks for the info in advance:)

    • Tarrah R.

Kim- Comment #114- I do hope that your little one gets better, or gets what he needs (surgery) to make him feel better. I am sorry to hear that. I’ve been there (sort of), it’s hard, but getting your baby better is whats best!

    • Tarrah R.

TOTALLY forgot to say THANK YOU JENNY for adding the best advantage buy deals. Sometimes I forget to check those, so you adding the ‘better or best’ deals on this list made my life easier! Thank you so much- you truly are a blessing. I don’t know what would happen to my household if you quit doing the blog. YIKES!

    • Tammy

Another vote for the old way. My brain is still dividing the price so I’m a little confused.

Love the shopping list though. Does seem it will be faster.

Mine printed tiny the first time too, but I just went under File. Chose Print Preview and changed the Shrink to Fit to whatever size I wanted. Problem solved.

    • Peggy

Thank you so much..the list is great. Being able to print it with coupon references makes this grandmoms coupon hobby even better!!

    • Kelly

      Jenny…..

You are awesome!!!! Thank you for all you do!!! You are a BESSING to my family!!!!

      Kelly

    • Kelly

      oops… “BLESSING”

    • Hannah

      Jenny,

Thank you for all of your hard work. What a great hubby you have to jump in and help you!!! I have been using your site to help us save since Feb ’09. Almost every week, someone at Publix stops me and asks how I saved so much money. There was a woman in line behind me this weekend (not my usual shopping day), and she only had one item. Instead of moving to a checkout lane that was empty, she watched in awe as the cashier kept scanning, and scanning, and scanning my coupons. Of course, I referred her to your site right away. I even have it bookmarked on my iPhone so that I can show folks how user-friendly it is. Thanks again!!!

      Hannah (Tampa, FL)

    • Phillis

      Donna #118

I am having the same problem. I have called Smart Source several times and got no response. I finally found an e-mail address and they’ve sent me several suggestions, but so far none have worked. I am still going back and forth with them. I will let you know if my issue gets resolved. Please e-mail me at phillis.rogers58@gmail.com so we can help each other resolve this issue.

    • Just when I thought Southern Savers couldn’t possibly get any better, you add the printable shopping list…thank you and give your Hubs a hug for a job well done LOL !

    • mel

      you are awesome lady!!!

    • Cristinia

LOVE the shopping list option!!! I vote for the old way of listing the price. I too am in Florida and love seeing the full price of what I am paying for two items! Love the best deals listed too! Thank you so much for all you do…your site helps me to “get it done” and save with two little ones under foot :) BTW- thank you for your help a couple of weeks ago w/ the BOGO store coupon matched with the BOGO Shout stain spray- worked perfectly at my store!

    • My FL Publix takes Walgreens coupons. Sadly, all of my Walgreens coupons have expired. And I haven’t received a new coupon booklet.

    • Lyn

Has anyone else noticed that the Fast Chicken usually is not in sale in Georgia when it is listed on this list? I have always wanted to try it, but I have not noticed it go on sale like this here in Georgia.

    • Kris
    • Kris

Sorry.. It will make $.30 per bag if stacked with the manu coupon.

    • Hazel

Jenny.. I want to thank you for all of your hard work..I a in N Fl. I have been on your site since the beginning of the year. You have saved my family a lot of money. I have shared your site with family, friends and co-workers. They have all become faithful followers as well. We get together and share our savings.

Our local Publix has posted a notice at the check out that as of Sept 26 they will only be taking local competitors coupons. (walgreens, winn-dixie, food lion and cvs.) They have even stated that you can only put 1 store and 1 manf coupon on 1 item. (which I have learned that from you but, apparently, others were pushing it.) They are also enforcing the one coupon per day (food lion’s).

Our Manager at Publix is really nice. I had wrote a compliment to corp about 2 cashier’s. The mngr called me and spoke to me regarding it–thanked me. I was really impressed with him.

Again, I want to thank you and your husband for this site and for my family’s savings.

    • Kim Spiegel

    • Traclyn

I LOVE the shopping list … thank you so much!!! You are such a blessing!!!

    • lynn

was wondering has any tried the smart ones deserts and if so how would you rate them as in flavor do they tast diet or leave a funny taste in your mouth would love to try them while they are so cheap thank you

    • Kristina

Shopping list option is WONDERFUL!!! Thanks

    • In response to Lyn/#165, the chicken goes on sale here in Savannah. I’ve gotten the chicken nuggets before when they were bogo. I’ll have to check it out later when I go.

    • Mary

Love the printatble list! Thanks for all you do! And I actually like the adjusted prices – your hubby is very sweet and organized! :-)

Just a note, last week while I was in Publix, the cashier told me that they are no longer taking Target coupons. It was a corporate decision….anyone else have a problem using the Target coupons?

    • Jen

The list is great but please switch it back for FL! :)
Also, it would be very helpful if when I click a link (for a printable coupon for example) if the link opened in a new window. As it is now, if I check items to make a list on your site and then I click a link for a coupon, when I hit the back button to go back to the blog all my check marks are gone!

    • Deb – Clemson SC

      Jen #171

Right click on the printable coupon link…that gives you the option to open it in another tab/window. That way your shopping list doesn’t change at all.

Jenny….I love it all. Thanks for all the work you do.

    • Nancy

LOVE the list option! I had been going to Publix’s site and cross-listing to make a printable list – thanks for saving me a step!

    • Aymie

      Denise
I mailed mine probably a week or so before you did… You should be getting it very soon.
If you dont get it by Thur or Fri of next week, I would call the 1800 number but I am pretty sure you will get it before then!

    • hilary

I found a $1.oo manufacturer coupon (printable) for glass plus on home solutions web-site. This makes them .25 each! yay!

    • Aimie

I vote for doing the prices this way as well-I’m constantly having to rethink if an item was listed under the BOGO list or not and scrolling back to find it-not really the most tragic of problems to have and I will appreciate ANY thing you decide to do, just weighing in!
Thanks again-you’re the best and just sent up a prayer for your sweet little one and your family!

    • Jen #171 – Here is a tip: If you wait until you’ve created the printable list, you can just click on the printable coupons for the stuff that you are going to buy straight from the list itself and they will open in a separate window!!

    • Missie

I am sad to report that I just had one of those rare bad shopping experiences at Publix. I went with my manufacture coupons (not an excessive number) and a Southern Homes coupon for 10% off a purchase of $50.00 or more. The cashier took my coupons off as she went so that in the end my total was not enough to use the percent off coupon. When I mentioned this to her, she just handed it back to me and said nothing acting as if I was annoying her with my coupons. I am most disappointed as the people as my Publix as usually so sweet and willing to work with you. From now on, I will make it a point to request that the coupons be held till the end.

    • lynn

does anyone know if the quaker true delights are included in the sale?

    • Denise.

      To Aymie
Thanks for the info. I started to worry that maybe something went wrong. I will look for it next week:)

    • I received an email yesterday saying I should get my $10 gift card withun 2 weeks. it also included a link to check the status. http://www.publixrebateresearch.com HTH

    • Lyn/Post #165, just got back from a Publix run. The Fast Fixin Chicken IS NOT on sale here in Savannah, GA. I know that in the past it has been because I used 2 Q’s for the BoGo.

    • Susan

      Jenny,
      The list feature is great.
I’m in FL, so prefer the pricing the old way as well.

What I really would like… when Publix4Pennies had the list feature, she used graphics to make the BOGO deals or HOT deals stand out. The BOGO icon helps you to remeber to be sure to get 2 (since in FL you don’t get them half price). Any chance of adding her graphics as well?

Thanks for all your hard work. You’ve saved us a fortune!

    • Susan

Hazel… Oh no!!! Which N FL Publix was that????

There is a Harvey’s in Green Cove Springs- are you near there? IF so, it should still count as a competitor, right?

    • Tammy

** Heads up- Sargento Cheddar Cheese Sticks with $2.00 peelie combined with the Advantage Buy Q made for .99 for a bag of 12!

This was a very good week for me. Just got home and I spent $70.33, but I SAVED $112.00!! I save more than I spend nearly every time I shop @ Publix.

THANK YOU sooo much for all of the work you do here.

    • lynn

where do you live that had the 2.00 peelies on the cheese?
still has anyone tried the smart ones deserts are they tasty?

    • George

These are Tide Stain release cpns…. $2.00 publix, $1.00 mfg, $1.50 Target. My publix accepts Target coupons..can i stack all three ($4.50) total and will I have an overage of $51 cents on the $3.99 cent tide item to use toward other purchases? Only want to do what is proper

    • Val

This may have been mentioned already, but Food Lion has a $2.00 off FLIP that will work great for the Tyson Chicken Patties this week. I got the print directly from Food Lions website. Jenny has the same one except instead of Tyson it says Food Lion chicken. I don’t know why there is a difference, but I thought it would make for a great deal when stacked with the manufacture coupon.

    • Kris

I am new to stacking and I love this site and thank you for all the work you do. Im so bummed the atlanta market is not doing the B2G1 on pepsi and that would be such a great deal with the dr pepper coupon in the yellow advantage flyer.

    • libby

Does anyone know if Bayer asprin is still $1.50?

    • Julie

      Hey Jenny!
I just got back from a record breaking trip from Publix (my fav store)and thanks to your help and your husband’s help too I saved $173 and only spent $7!!!! But even better I purchased tilapia, top sirloin, fresh chicken breast, bananas and pears so I had some money making schemes going on. I told my husband before I left to go to Publix and he said that he better not get a call from the police station because posting bail would negate my savings (hee hee very sarcastic humor)

    • kj

Don’t know if this has already been mentioned, but my Publix had SmartOnes Blinkies ($2/5) in the Smart Ones Entrees section that can be used for the desserts!

    • Leisa

      Thank you jenny,

I am also in Florida, there seem to be alot of us ;) I would love the old pricing format, too. Thank you and your hubby!

    • Kay

      Hi Jenny-
I just went to Publix in NE Columbia today (Hardscrabble). they do not take the Target coupon for Breyer’s ice cream. The Manager showed me the book that they only take other grocery stores’ coupons- not pharmacies, dept stores, etc.
Just wanted you guys to know. She apologized, and I told her no problem, as she was bound by corporate.
      But thanks for trying!!

    • lynn

where is the 2.00 tide stain realease from?

    • lynn

ok almost all bogo sale items were sold out at publix toda they said it sold out in the first 2 hours of the sale cant find the candles any where no sour cream no tyson chicken no bc fruit shapes did get the bleach and some smart ones found the 2off 5 maf coupon to stack with the 2 off 5 store coupon made for a good deal have no room in either freezer also there are 1.00 blinkie coupons for the hood milk

    • George

Lyn #196…. There is a $2.00 Tide stain release coupon in the “Put clean in your Cart” booklet at Publix. buy three and get a large roll of bounty free (coupon also in booklet)
Can anyone help me with my question in #191

    • libby

      How much would Kashi be?
Does anyone who buys it have an idea?

    • Katy

      Jenny!

You never cease to amaze me with this website! I absolutly love the fact that you can print a shopping list with the coupon matchups included. I tell everyone I meet about your site! You truly are a super coupon woman!! Keep up the great work!

    • George…only if your Publix allows it. The two different Publix locations I shop at stopped accepting all three coupons per item. They now consider a competitor coupon a store coupon. Therefore, we can only stack a manufactuer q with a publix coupon or a competitor coupon. Ask at customer service if all three can be redeemed on one item.

    • lynn

oh i need that book lucky you

    • dawn

      lynn (#190)

I know you are in NPR. I am in Brandon and I found the $2 Sorrento peelies at several of my local Publix. Hopefully you will find some or you need to head east to shop!!! lol!

Also, I got some of those smart ones desserts cheap at Target a little while back and they were not too bad, but very small portions! Get some! I also found the $2 off of 5 in the dispenser at my Publix.

Finally, I requested a booklet (one stop. one shop.) by email to corporate like I have read that others have done because I couldn’t find it. They sent me the Toss for Cash Ga version!! WOO HOO! I went to my Publix last night to use a few of these coupons and the cashier couldn’t find them in the computer. I told her they were from GA and she put them through.

    • dawn

Also, at target this week, there are peelies on the Kashi cereal for frozen items. Bought five pkgs of waffles (2.09), used 5 (1.00) coupons and got a gift card for 5.00 back. Really good and almost free waffles!

    • Tammy

      Response to Lynn #190

Found the cheese peelies in Lakeland, FL (and these are on the SORRENTO; sorry for the error in previos post)

The Glass Plus also has a .50 peelie which doesn’t expire until 4/10. Used the one I had and I’m saving these for later.

I found a lot more blinkies today also including:
      ICBIN Butter! sticks $1.00
      Toll House Cookie Dough .55
      1/2 gal Hood milk $1.00
      Pillsbury Refr Bread .75/3
      Cottonelle 6-pk .75
Weight Watchers $2/5 (used the All You coupon B4G1 and my gracious cashier pointed out that you actually get 6 for the price of 2 due to BOGO!)

    • J’Laine

Just to add my thanks as well…I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this printable list! I’ve been cutting/pasting to make my own personal lists for several months – what a time saver this is! I don’t care how you list the prices – I’m just so grateful for the service!

    • elana

so exciten i just bouth our groceries total paid : $61.04 get this ….
      total saved: $126.04
thanks Jenny and Hubby you guys are the best. I just started doing this last month, you are the best teacher ever. We live super close to Disney so we just got year passes that were purched with all the money i saved on groceries since the end on July. Thanks!!!!

    • Kayla

Thanks for the problem with the list post…..thanks to the computer literate this computer challenged shopper learned how to print a shopping big enough for my eyes to read!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Aymie

I have never seen the Kraft food and family…where can I find this? Is this a Publix booklet?

    • lynn

oh tamyy you are not that far from so i will keep my eyes open here for it thanks a millon for sharinmg this info

    • Erin

Count me in for the new way. This is SO MUCH easier!

    • lynn

thank you dawn lol just might have to do that

    • Val

      ****** DEAL ******
This may have been mentioned already, but Food Lion has a $2.00 off FLIP that will work great for the Tyson Chicken Patties this week. I got the print directly from Food Lions website. Jenny has the same one except instead of Tyson it says Food Lion chicken. I don’t know why there is a difference, but I thought it would make for a great deal when stacked with the manufacture coupon.

    • Stephanie

THANK YOU for the printable list!!! It is genius!!!

    • Thank you so much for making all of our lives easier! You are truely helping!
Why does the ConAgra page make you login everytime you click on “Get Coupon” and make you go in circles?

    • Amanda

Anyone know if there is a Publix in the Greenville area that takes target (or food lion) coupons?

    • Kelly

      (Stephanie #49)
      Thanks for the info.
There is also a .75 Marzetti dip coupon in the new Oct issue of Better Homes. Add this to the Publix $1 apple coupon.

    • lynn

kelly does better homes and garden hyave good coupons in it on a regular basis?

    • Katy

Val #166 posted this. Just got my bag of Tyson Chicken for $.30. Going back every day to stock up since you can only use one FLIP per day.

      Thanks Kris #166

    • Kelly

lynn-just received my bh&g subscription as a gift. so we’ll see.

    • Betsy

My store had some brochures with the marzetti apple dip that had coupons in them for $1 off apple dip. It was $2.99 on Advantage buy, so use that q & the publix q to pay $3.50 for a bag of apples and marzetti carmel dip. Not the best deal in the world, but we eat lots of apples.

    • What a convenience…
I used to copy/paste my list (from your list) to create my shopping list. You (and hubby) rock! Thanks!

    • lynn

any one in npr able to use foodlion and or harvy coupons if so what publix thank you?

    • I received my $10 gidtcard in the mail today!!! I am getting my shopping list so I can see how far $10 can go!

    • Redd

I love the ability to print the shopping list, it makes it easier to sort out / match /find my coupons!

I did find the list printed too small for my old eyes to read, but I discovered if you select print preview you can change the list from size to fit (everything fits on one page) to 100% or any other % you need.

This is also great b/c my sweet husband goes to the store with me, reads the list, manages the coupon collection AND carries the bags. :)

    • JEB

Got my Publix gift card for the Publix and Kraft rebate today!

    • Kim

I got all 3 of my Publix gift cards today from the Kraft rebate. I sent mine in on the last day possible–maybe 2 days before it had to be received.

    • Shanna

Just wanted to add my thanks to Jenny for all of her hard work!! I also LOVE the new printable list! Just got home from Gervis Street Publix in Columbia,SC and I saved around $90! They still had all the B1G1’s and were super friendly!! They doubled all of my coupons where as last week at the Lexington,SC Publix they did not. I will be shopping at the Gervis Street Publix from now on!!:) Again, THANK YOU JENNY!

    • Paula

I’m in Tallahassee and our Publix has $1 off manufacturer’s coupon peelies on the Sorrento cheese sticks. With the $1 publix coupon, that’s $2 off each!

I’m new at this but today, my 3rd time out I saved $105 with all discounts!

    • Anne Marie

Aymie #212 The Kraft food and Family is a magazine that comes in the mail. It used to be free, and I found a link for it https://w1.buysub.com/pubs/MR/KFF/ff_sub_page.jsp?cds_page_id=60672&cds_mag_code=KFF&id=1253318515884&lsid=92611901558040717&vid=1 but it looks like you have to pay for it. I have always gotten it in the past, but don’t know if I’ll still receive it though. HTH

      Thanks a bunch!

    • Amy

Jenny, you tell your husband that he did a fantastic job on this list! I actually ENJOYED seeing his version of the prices…of course I haven’t been on this site more than 2 mos…so I hadn’t quite gotten so used to doing the math in my head yet. Thank you so much for your time and for the awesome printable shopping lists!

God bless you and your family!

    • Nickie

1- I have been turned down with a Target coupon. Nervous about trying again.

2- Today I spent $42 and saved $96 — including four Glass Plus bottles for $1 (sounds like you all like dividing) and four Tyson chicken pattie packages for which they accepted four FLIPS $2 off each

3- Julie – Regarding the savings you posted, is that mostly due to multiple store stacking?

      JENNY THANK YOU

One more thing – if you don’t have any room in your freezer — GREAT! You don’t need to shop.

Pantry full? Maybe you can give away some of the deals you find. Friends, food pantries.

      Jenny
I tried to use my revlon MF coupon and Publix store coupon for a nail file and i was told that I will be not getting any overage and they will only take off 1.49 instead of the 3 dollars. Is that Publix’s policy not to accept overage. Please let me know
      They keep changing the policy.
Also i was told that if i use a CVS 5 dollar off coupon for 25 dollar purchase than i CAN’T use any other coupon ( MF or store coupon) does that make sense.
please let us know what the clear policy is and how to talk to consumer relations thank you

    • Michelle

Hi Farrah, I sent in two of the $10 publix gift cards. I received them in 3 weeks. How long have you waited?

    • Aymie

      Algebra
Actually, Publix is cracking down on overages… Which doesnt make sense to me because they get reimbursed for both manu and store coupons (just not competitor). This has happened to me before with the clippers as well.
I was ok with getting free clippers, but I hate being taken for granted especially when I know they are getting reimbursed full value of coupons.
As for the $5 off $25, we are not allowed to use CVS at my Publix, but I have used an Aldi $5 off $25 and was still able to use all the rest of my coupons. That sounds like a cashier wanted to make up her own rules… That just does not make any sense!

    • Hazel

Susan #188… I am about 1 1/2 hrs west of Green Cove Springs.

    • Cyndi

Thanks a ton for all you do! I am in FL and recently talked with a Publix manager and said for (central) FL stores they will no longer accept Food Lion coupons b/c it is no longer operating in our area. He did confirm that they will accept Target, Walgreens, Wal-Mart and CVS coupons under their “competitor” coupon guarantee.

    • lynn

ifr it is a maf. coupon they give overage if it is a store coupon they adjust the coupon only because they do not get reimbersed for store coupons …. hope that helps

    • Melissa

I love love love this new feature of making the list. Bless both you and your husband for innovation. This shortens my list making time in half – you both are wonderful!

    • Krista

I love the new ability to print a shopping list directly from your list! :) You’re great! & so is your hubby!

    • Aymie

      Lynn
Correct me if I am wrong but I had always thought Publix got reimbursed for their own coupons as well as manu???
It is competitors that they do not but I am pretty sure they get reimbursed for store…

    • lynn

no they do not get reimbersed for their own coupons they are store coupons and have nothing to do with the manf. that is why a they have no problem with manf.c oupons and overage but if you have been getting overage with store coupons then you have been lucky or have a cashier who did not know but they most of the time do not give overage on that again they do not get reimbersed for their store coupons thgat is why you are able to stack them with a manf… i hope this helps they also do not get reimbersed for competitor coupons

    • keb2009

is it me or are the pillsbury sweet rolls not on sale? my publix only had bread and cressent on sale

    • Elizabeth

Amanda #219~ If you’re talking about Greenville, SC, unfortunately none of our area stores accept Target coupons or Food Lion coupons (correct me somebody if I’m wrong!). They’ve lost a lot of my business because they’ve changed their coupon policy and because many of the cashiers in this area act like they resent all of the money you’re saving.

    • Marie

I could not locate the Tyson Chicken Patties. My store in Acworth GA did not have any on sale.

    • Amy N

For those commenting about overages – Some Publix coupons state Not to exceed purchase price – therefore they may not give overage. But may just depend on your cashier – ask at customer service before you shop what their policies are.

    • amy

I love this feature. I am already a HUGE fan of your site but this shopping list feature is such a time saver too. You have help save my family so much money each month.
Thank you for all you do to help all of us out.

      Amy

    • allen

dont forget that the fruit snacks are a g m product so use the coupon for a free green bag

    • Shannon in ATL

      ???Penny item?????

Just came back from Publix and if I were to venture a guess I would say Publix coffee will be the penny item. They were stocked up in a basket up front 2nite.

    • Heather in SC

I cannot find the angel soft printable coupons. Are they gone?

    • Heather

I like your hubby’s new way of doing things. It was much quicker and less brain work. He did a great job. Thanks for all you do!!

    • Rodney599

Wendy, I may be the only oddball (MAN) couponing, but I am disabled and having a ball on all the savings, for My wife and I and My daughters family is now coponing, A nice clerk at Publix in inverness on Hwy280 in birmingham gave me your site, and i loveit, i will get it to my daughter to help us on our shopping list, thanks for the great work you do, and let other men know the ladies at the cashregister think its a hoot for a man to be doing so good with my couponing, I will be a regular on this site , Thanks

    • Michelle B

I live in FL, but I really like having the individual price listed because I still like to know how much I’ll be spending per item. It helps to make sure you are getting a really good deal!

    • ChristaCouponista

Jenny! Loved meeting you today and LOved your class!

LOVE the new LIST and LOVE the B1G1 list with not having to divide every item by 2. You are awesome!

George # 191 – it is allowed to use a STORE/MANUF/and COMPETITOR coupon on the same item. Most people are just not so lucky to have that scenerio. But as I am reading in earlier posts, the Publix store coupon may be reduced so you don’t get overage, but it will be FREE, so yea!!

    • Jenna

Paula: I’m in Tallahassee too! Since you’re new if you need any help or need any tips with the stores around here feel free to email me at babygirlruca@yahoo.com it’s always fun to have people in town to seek out the deals with!

    • Emily

It’s my understanding that the Publix in Greenville don’t except target and food lion because we don’t have a super target and we don’t have Food Lions – they aren’t competitors to them so as disappointing as is to see all the great deals everyone else gets, it does make sense for them NOT to take them – they say they take “competitor’s coupons”, not “other store coupons.” we just need Bloom to put back out their $5 off coupons!!! ;)

    • tina

      Got coffee?

      Publix does. :)

The penny item for 9/20 and 9/21 is Publix Coffee.

    • Jennifer

Not sure if anyone else printed the Renu coupons but I printed 4 with no problems, not sure if there is a limit. I think I will try for more because they do not expire until 12/19/09!

    • Jennifer

I just wanted to say thank you for all the time and effort you put into this site. I’m a college student with a full time job. Your site has been extremely helpful to my roommate and myself. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate all you do.

    • Bshafer

This site is a Godsend with hubby out of work. You do great work and my friend is the best for recommending. I love the new shopping list cuts down on ink. Thanks

    • Amber

How does an e coupon work at publix since there is no publix card?

    • Stephanie

I hate to sound stupid, but how do you print your “grocery list” after checking what you are buying. I tried this and ended up printing 37 pages….Thanks, Stephanie

    • LILY

I love this site but definitely prefer the price the other way.

Thanks for all your hard work!

    • Dee

I’m sorry I’m sort of new at this and I was wondering if
the stores except expired coupons. Like with Publix sale
this week for Philadelphia cream cheese, states go to RB 8/9
& Publix Grape magazine for coupons…. however they are
expired. I have come across that a few times.

    • Stephanie

I am soooooo glad I was introduced to this website! I spend $98 at Publix this a.m. and saved $88!!!

FYI – the Publix on Hwy 280 at Lee Branch does NOT accept Food Lion coupons. I was told today that they accept Winn Dixie, Piggly Wiggly, Target, Walgreens, and maybe Brunos. They do not take CVS or Rite Aid either.

Another FYI that I didn’t notice above – the Del Monte canned items are B1G1 and there is a $1/5 in today’s paper. Also one online.

    • For some reason I can no longer print smartsource coupons in FireFox – its started off as a sometimes problem, is now a constant problem. Same thing with Target online coupons. Sad thing is, if I forget then it still counts as a coupon print for my computer.

Will take the info anyway you want to post it Jen, appreciate your help. It was nice not to use a calculator since I often buy 1 of the BOGO if it’s not close to free.

    • AngelaDH

Has anyone tried getting a free bag wyb 2 Cascadian Farms since it is a GM product? http://www.generalmills.com/corporate/brands/category.aspx?catID=19433&groupID=19433

If you find an answer please let me know at phillis.rogers58@gmail.com. I have been having this issue for a while and been going back and forth with Smartsource . Still not resolved. I keep getting a Java need to be enabled message, but my Java is enabled.

      Help anyone!

    • libby

My publix is now only alowing a manufacturer and a store or a competitor coupon (not both). However the people were really nice and when my cart was so full that it was overflowing they brought me a new one and started ringing up everything while I was shopping.

    • Susie

For the Buy 2 Pepsi 2 Liters Get 1 Free, do you think we can get 3 Dr. Peppers and use the $2 off three 2 liters of Dr. Pepper coupon in the yellow flyer?

    • Donna

      Love the new list feature.

Also wanted to say a big thank you to Jenny for holding her extreme couponing class yesterday in Canton, GA. It was very informative!

    • Sarah

I like the new way! It is easier for me to just see the price per 1 item, without having to divide it in half in my mind for each one.

And I LOVE the new printable shopping list!! Awesome!
Thanks for making our lives so much easier.

Being able to print the grocery list is absolutely awesome! Thanks soooo much for all that you do. I lost my job earlier this year and without your site I don’t know what my family would have done. Back to work now, and still couponing like crazy! Bless you, Jenny!

    • Nikki

      Jenny,
I just wanted to say I love the new “create list” option! I loved this site even before but this new option cut my list making/ coupon printing time by quite a bit! Thank you so much for all you do! I never even attempted to do coupons before I discovered your site, but you make it “doable”.

    • Peggy

For all of you in the Athens GA area—The Publix on Barnett Shoals Rd is now carrying the AJC. I don’t when they started but I was in there yesterday and was told that they would be selling the Sunday paper from now. Yeah! I’ve certainly missed it!

    • Christy

      Jenny,

I too love the new format. I love the printable list and the already halved prices for B1G1. I am happy with either, though. I have to say I am just estatic that this website is available!!! Don’t know how much extra work it would be, but this may be an option…

Publix Deli Old Fashioned Lemonade, 1 gal., at $1.50 ea ($3.00)

    • Sam

      Jenny,
Love, love, LOVE the shopping list option!! Thank you for all you do!

    • Melissa C

I have to ask Jenny, did you and your husband design the software or is it a program that you have found? It is an amazing system and I love it. I have been telling everyone about your site. I sit on a board in my subdivision and we were having a meeting and afterward I sat down and sort of gave a class about your site and how to save…it was fun. I have told my childhood best friend about your site and she lives in Florida. I sat on the phone with her and walked it through with her. I was great! I love sharing this info with others. Thanks for all you do!

      **Jenny Here**
It is a program that we saved our pennies for and paid a programmer for :) I’m glad it was money well spent and that you like it!

    • 271 AND 273 I have the same problem, if you find a resolution please post for me as well.

      Thanks

    • Phillis

      Robin,

Will do. I have tried numerous things and stll can’t resolve the issue. E-mail me at phillis.rogers58@gmail.com if you find a resolution and if I find a resolution I will e-mail you and post the resolution.

    • Joy

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new printable feature!!!!!!! Thanks for all that you do to save us money Jenny!

    • Tarrah R.

Hi Jenny- LOVE the reply to individual feature- Ahhhh…no more scrolling through 300 comments to find the best deals. Also, glad we started the *****DEAL ALERT*** Idea- It’s made it easier and I have found some great deals thanks to people using the Astricks.

    • Angela, in Summerville, SC

The Publix stores in my area are only accepting 2 “$5 off a $25 purchase” competitor coupons per customer. Even if you have 4 coupons and want to do 4 transactions, they’ll only take 2 coupons total. Sorta bummed they’ve started limiting it, but $10 off groceries is better than nothing.

    • Sue

Jenny, how do we find out about your coupon classes? I would love to attend one!

    • Katie

How come Publix will not double my coupons?? Do you have to ask them or are they suppose to automatically do it?

    • Wendy P

      Jenny,
Thanks for all you do! I’ve been using this site for a few months and it’s wonderful! I check it every week and have saved a bunch of money on groceries this year.
      Thanks again!

    • Gina

WOW!! I am so thankful you did this! I have not used your website for the main reason that it was confusing coming in from using another website! But now you have a way to compile my list and you already have the sale price for me!! Thanks bunches!!!

    • B1G1 PRICE- LOVE IT

Thank You Husband!!! I’m so tired of trying to do the math each week to figure out the sale price. You’ve just saved me a lot of time– I wish you’d keep it every week!

    • couponssssssss

Our Publix will accept coupons from Babies R Us if they list the specific item on the coupon, so you can use BRU coupons for diapers, wipes, even laundry detergent.
