Restaurant.com Thousand of popular restaurants. Fo

Starting today at 12 am for 99 hours ( till 9/13), using code NINETY you can get 90% off your entire purchase on Restaurant.com.   I can’t remember if they have ever gone this high with their sales before much less so early in the month.

Whether you want a cheap lunch or dinner out, or you want to give a general gift certificate for someone else you can get:

$25 dining or gift certificates for $1

$10 dining or gift certificates for .40 cents

Think of them as a $10 off or $25 off coupon. For us this makes for cheap lunches out with Daddy, or inexpensive dinner dates.

Do you do cashback?

Go to ebates. Go to Restaurant.com through ebates and get 15% cash back. If you have never used ebates before you will also get a $5 bonus for opening a new account. Here’s a little bit more on what ebates is.

    • Fatwallet also gives 20% Cashback. Also, you can use the 90% on the dinner of the month club. You get 300$ in certificates for $12, plus they give you a $50 certificate free!

    • or 17% back from Upromise!

    • D.W.

I use restaurants.com all the time…i love this website!! also, if you go through upromise.com they will always give you a code for at least 50% off!!

    • Dreyofday

    • Michelle Neuman

I just a %25 gift certificate for $1 dollar!!!! Can’t beat that! Thank you for all your help : )

    • RJ

I had to search 75 miles to find a restaurant . Restaurant bill had to be at least$50, could only use one gift card(25$) so it would still be a pricey night out.

    • Di W

I was just about to purchase 2 gift cards, but read restaurant rules. They stated that gift certificates were only valid with a minimum purchase of $100 on the first restaurant and $35 on the 2nd restaurant. Does this mean that I can only use gift card after I spend $100 and $35? Thanks!

    • Susan

You can also get the Dinner for a Year cetificates, which is 12 $25 certificates plus a free $50 cert. for just $12. Then you don’t have to choose the restaurants right now.

    • AtlGirl3929

FYI, you can use the code for gift certificates and the dinner of the month club. I just got $160 in local restaurant certificates, a 6 month dinner of the month club certificate, plus 5 $25 Restaurant.com gift certificates (Christmas presents!) for $30. Not too shabby! I live in Atlanta and there were a ton of decent restaurants on the list. Even with the restrictions (no alcohol, spend a certain amt, etc), it’s a steal.

    • Barbara

This was my first time, my certificate did not print and did not show up on my account but did come out of my paypal account? Does it take a while to show up?
      Any help is appreciated!

    • Joy

I just got a $50 for $2 to a new italian bistro place I have wanted to try I also went thru ebates:) off to go look for some more

    • Christie Z

Has anyone ever used these certificates? I just purchased a $25.00 certificate for a $1.00. Seems too good to be true. But what do I have to lose for a dollar. Has anyone purchased these and then redeemed them at the resturant….did the resturant give you any trouble with them?

    • Bekkah

Same problem as Barbara (#9). I called 10 min after my purchase and the customer service rep said their server was having trouble keeping up with all the traffic on the site. She asked me to give it more time.

    • Christie Z. I use them all the time at some of my favorite restaurants and have never had a problem.

    • becki

havent read all the comments so someone may have mentioned this. be careful which restaurants you buy from. a few in my area had a comment in small print that they will add an 18% grat. to the bill. i am going to give mine as teacher gifts and i would had for them to have that added on!

    • Sandra

I used to use Restaurants.com a lot before they added all the stipulations about the amount of the bill. They would sometimes add the tip on and other times they would not. It’s a good amount to tip though if you get decent service. I usually try to tip 18-20% since the servers only get paid like $2/hr.
Anyway, I do wish they didn’t have all of the restrictions…you have to spend $35 to be able to use a $25 certificate. I guess it would work if you had a group of people, but with me & my hubby we don’t even spend that much!
Also best to call the restaurant before you go, because some of them are small, many independently owned & things change, places close up, etc…

Just some hints on using the certificates.

    • Christie Z

Amy B….thanks for the response…I am really excited…we don’t go out to dinner that often…now all I have to do is get my hubby to slow down long enough to put these certs to good use!! Thanks again!

    • MelRae

I am considering buying some for Christmas gifts. Does anyone know about expiration dates? Also, I would rather not give a computer printout as a gift….do they offer to mail certificates? Thanks to anyone who can answer!

      • Jenny

        Mel,

They do not have mailable versions. You could print it and put it in a card but that would be all you and still be a print off. Most do not expire for one year so they would still be good for a while if you did them a presents.

    • Stacy

I can’t figure out how to print my certificates I bought. They took a LONG time before they showed up in my account, but I can’t figure out how to print them to take into the restaurant. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    • Stacy

Never mind! I finally figured it out.

    • Cindy

I can not get the ninety or NINETY to apply the discount. just sits there. Love your website. thank you

    • Cindy

I can’t get the discount code to take, it says error in the bottom left of the page. Anyone else having a proplem?

    • Anisa

      Mel,

You could print it on photo quality paper in color. It looks much nicer as a gift that way. Add a card, and you are set.

    • Cora

New to coupons, this is great deal.. thanks for all you hard work…

    • sandra

Can someone answer this for me?

Do I understand this correctly. You can only use 1 certificate per month? I want to purchase two $25.00 certificates and use them at the same time. From what I read on the rules and regulations- I wouldn’t be able to do that.

      Does anyone know.

      Thanks

      Sandra

    • hilary

ok, i want to make sure i understand this right. so, if the stipulations say “valid with a purchase of $15”, does that mean if i get a meal for $15, i can use the $15 certificate and walk away paying nothing? or do i have to spend $15 above and beyond the cert — like get $30 worth of food and use the $15 cert?
