Couldn’t we also do the Olay buy one get oe 50% deal. Use 2 3$ coupons and do the mail in rebate? Get the rebate and have it count toward the P&G deal?

      • Is Olay on sale tomorrow? I didn’t see it.

        • Kristy

front page of the ad.Along with Covergirl

          • Thanks! I haven’t seen the ad!

            • Olay was not on the front of the flyer in my ad. It must be different by area.

            • Kristy

              Im sorry!!!

      • ACW

This is my proposed scenario for Olay:

Regenerist Deep Hydration Cream 1.7 oz: $15.90
        Regenerist Deep Hydrating Mousse Cleanser 6.1 oz: $7.99 – 50% = $4.00
(fulfilled two Regenerist items for Olay mail-in rebate)

In-shower Body Lotion 8.4 oz: one at $4.99 and one -50% at $2.50

All Day UV Moisturizer with SPF 4.0 oz: one at 8.99 and one -50% at $4.50

Olay Quench body lotion with Green Tea 8.4 oz: one at 6.39 and one -50% at $3.20

        Subtotal: $50.45
(fulfilled SCR for $15 wyb $50 PG products)
        USE:
        two -$3/1 Regenerist PG 1/17
        two -$1/1 body wash/bar/in-shower PG 1/17
two -$1/1 any moisturizer PG 1/17
two -$2/1 hand or body lotion PG 1/17

        OOP: $36.45
        Receive $15 Visa gift card
        Receive $15 rebate from Olay
        …eight products for $6.45 :)

        How’s that sound?

        • ACW

Wait… if this scenario works, can we also use a $5/$25 coupon, making it $1.45 when all is said and done?!

          • JenGC

Too cool! I am printing this off and going to try to do this tomorrow! lol

          • JenGC

What about this? You can use 2 $5/$25 coupons on the same transaction according to Rite Aid’s rules. So you use TWO coupons and that makes you MAKING money! hehehe

          • Jen

Here’s my Olay scenario! Buy 2 Regenerist serums (reg. about $19) so total is about $28.50. Use (2) -$3 off Q’s from 1/17, and the $5/$25 coupon. Your OOP is around $17.50. Get back $15 from Olay Rebate and $5 from the Rite Aid PG rebate, making you $2.50. Not to mention, if you choose two Regenerist products that are highly-rated, this is REALLY a deal (I always look up cosmetics on Beautypedia.com). So fun!!

            • Denise

Where is the olay rebate form found?

        • Can you submit a copy of the reciept for one of the rebates? If not, you could only do one of these deals because you would only have 1 receipt. Can Rite Aid print an extra receipt? I’ve asked places in the past & they usually tell me no.

          • Jen

For the P&G rebate, it works the same as other SCR’s at RA, so you only need to entire your receipt info at the SCR website, and then send your receipt off to Olay.

          • Lasha

Angie, hey, i work @ rite aid, unfortunatley no we can’t print two receipts out.

        • Rachel

This scenario would be great…. if I could find the rebate form! Anyone have a link they can post???

          Thanks!

    • Diane

I can’t get the Tums coupon to print? Anyone know why?

      • Deb – Clemson

Go to http://www.tums.com. The link to the coupon is on the bottom of the page. It acted funny for me but I was able to print 2 coupons.

    • Mary

Thanks for the preview and matchups Jenny!! Does anyone know how much the Kraft mac and cheese are? This may be a possible good deal:

      Buy:
      12 boxes
      – 6 (B1G1)
      – 3 (B3G1F)
      = pay for 3 boxes

      Smaller scale:
      4 boxes
      – 2 (B1G1)
      – 1 (b3g1F)
      pay for 1 box

Don’t know how much these are, so I don’t know if this would be a great deal or if the stores would even have 12 boxes!

      • Deb – Clemson

        Mac & cheese is $1.79 a box.

        • Monica

Probably much better deal at Walgreens this week with the in-add coupon (I think it said .59).

        • Angel

Harris Tetter has them at $0.50 per box limit 8 thru next tuesday, iirc.

    • Robin

Boo Rite Aid! You know you’re my favorite store! Why you wanna give us such a slow ad this week?!

    • Robin

Boo Rite Aid! You know you’re my favorite store! Why you wanna give us such a sad ad this week?! ;)

      • Ashley

        i agree…already looking forward to next week! : )

    • Susan

Stacy’s Pita Chips at $2.50 each, with a $1/1 printable at allyou.com (in coupon section), making them $1.50 each. Plus this item qualifies for an extra Game of Life piece.

    • Jennifer

I went to Rite Aid today and had a total of $6 in Internet printable coupons. The cashier told me (at first) that she could only take one online coupon. I had no idea what she was talking about. I finally got out of her that she “said” she can only take one internet printed coupon. I asked when that started, she pointed to their sign about $5 internet coupons. Then she changed her story to that she could only take a total of $5 in internet printed coupons. I told her that was that I had used more than $5 in internet printed coupons before (and the manager was the one checking me out) and never had a problem. She said she would do it this time because it was only over a $1. I thought the $5 internet thing was referring to that they would not accept a single internet coupon for more than $5. Am I wrong on this? Thanks

      • Ashley

Absolutely not. You are completely right, and this will not be the first time you will have to stand your ground with employees. We know about the store’s policies than the employees too, so this is something to get used to.

        • Ashley

*We know more about the store’s policies than the employees do.

      • T’fani

We have two Rite Aids in our area (NC) and one store has told me that they do not accept ANY printed coupons (Pineville Rite Aid)! I politely walked out and shop at the other Rite Aid that takes as many as you have. Strange how different the stores are!

        • SenoraE

I had that happen once too. I emailed corporate, and they even called me to tell me that I was correct, and that the issue would be resolved. Never had a problem again! :)

    • Vanessa

Can anyone see the John Frieda coupon???…it doesn’t even show up for me. Usually it says “print limit reached”, but nothing for this. Maybe I just need a working zip code???

      • Sabrina

        I couldn’t get it either…it just wasn’t there.

        • Sally

          I couldn’t find it either.

    • Jen

Is anyone else having a hard time establishing an ad perks account? I cant get it to validate my address…

    • Sabrina

If you like te Lance 8 pack crackers..I saw them in the Rite Aid ad..2 for $3…here is a website that has $1 off 1 coupons…would make them 50 cents. http://www.lance.com Click on the icon that says view offers/coupons…I think a pic of a pig is nearby the coupon link. I love these crackers and 50 cents a pack is a good deal for me.

      • Thanks! I use to get the Austin cracker packs all the time great for away-from home kid snacks and lunch packing. For .50 I’ll give Lance a try

    • Mae

There is a “coupon nazi” at one of my local Rite Aid’s here in Cumming, GA off Post Rd. She tried to tell me that I could not use my $2 off ANY Pull Ups on the Night Time Pull Ups. She also scrutinized the Rite Aid Huggies voucher for the other Pull Ups package that I bought! She probably was just jealous that I got 2 packs of Pull Ups, 1 pkg of GE light bulbs and 1 pkg of clearance candy canes for just $3.80…plus a $3 rebate ($1 for Huggies & $2 for the bulbs)…So frustrating! My husband was with me and I practically screamed his head off…poor thing. Just wanted to vent! I know you all would understand…Thanks Jenny for all you do to help all of us understand this couponing thing!

      • Ashley

I run in to this all the time, and I hate doing my shopping because of it. Deal with enough of it, and it’s rather depressing. Of course, I always stand my ground when I need to. And they try to hassle me with things, but I’m always right. I spent a total of an hour and a half two different times in Walgreens the last two weeks having to sort out and correct these people when purchasing my things. My husband has seen a lot of it, so he knows what I have to deal with on a constant basis with these people, so he completely understands why I get ill.

      • Ginger

Jenny has the official coupon policy linked to the understanding Rite Aid page (the link is at the top of the list of sales on this page). I would suggest printing it out so that you can take it with you and be armed with their corporate policy. If they argue with what their offical policy says when you can read it to them word for word then you have a good reason to let corporate know and who knows, they might send you coupons if you do!! Just a thought. I have always thought that knowledge is power. Stand your ground and let their corporate big-wigs back you up! :-)

        • Mae

Thanks for your support! I will definitely bring a copy of the coupon policy from now on. My gripe with this cashier is that she was trying not to take my Pull Ups coupon on a package of Pull Ups b/c they were the Night Time ones (It didn’t match the picture on the coupon). But, I pointed out to her that the coupon stated on ANY one variety of Pull Ups (w/c in my mind would include Night Time – as long as they were the Pull Ups brand). She was being very stingy. Sometimes, I think they think they own Rite Aid and want to save it from crumbling. But, to me, if they’re name is not on the building then I will follow the corporate coupon policy, not the cashier’s policy!!! Also, I wrote a complaint letter to that particular store and then emailed a copy to their corporate office. Who knows what will happen.

      • rachel

i’m sorry she was sucha pill. :(
can you share the details of your pullups deal!?
        i’d love 2 packs for $3.80!
        which coupons did you use?

        • Mae

          This is what I did:

          Bought:
          (2) Pull Ups @ 8.99 ea
          (1) GE light bulbs @ $2
          (1) clearance candy canes @ .74

          (2) $1 off Pull Ups Video Value q
          (1) $2 off Pull Ups
          (1) Rite Aid Huggies free voucher (from last Dec wyb 5 Huggies diapers)
          Total: $3.80
Getting back :$3 SCR from Huggies & GE light bulbs

    • laura

I shopped at the Rite Aid in Pville, AL today. I was informed at checkout that the $5 off $25 coupon had to be used last. The cashier stated that was new policy and it was fraud if used first. Wondering if anyone else has run into this?

      • Peggy Jo

I went to one in Athens,Ga yesterday and they used the 5 off 25 first.

      • Stephanie

Sorry about that Laura. Just last night, the Mgr was standing near and directed me or the cashier (not sure to which he was referring) to be sure to take the $5 off $25 first before any coupons. I knew that from SSavers, (Thanks Jenny) but I don’t think the cashier did because she always has problems w/ my Qs when the $5 off Q is used. All ended well and since I’ve become fairly close w/ my Anderson SC store, the staff has been more than helpful.
I would want to see that in a policy somewhere; or maybe it’s just up to each store mgr. Be sure to ask next time.

        • Sally

I shopped in Chapin today and they used my $5 coupon first.

          • fran

I had a problem just last week with using the manufacturing Q with Target logo in Chapin……

      • tonya

Millbrook, Al has been that way since week of Thanksgiving

      • bridget

I used a $5/$25 first today with no problem. I always hand it to the cashier alone, and only then do I give them the rest of my coupons. That way I know they will take the $5 discount first.

        • Same here! At all the stores I go to I had them any discounts off of total purchase first, then had them all my manufacturer coupons, and last their store coupons. That way if the register beeps its usually on one of their store coupons and they push it through! :)

      • laura

Cashier stated this was a new coupon policy. I will wait to see if it happens again. I understand an employee wanting to follow the rules, but if it’s really not a policy I don’t see why they feel like they have to be so difficult about it.

      • Pauline

Sorry, newbie here… but could someone please explain to me the importance of when the $5 off $25 coupon is scanned. Why the beginning and not the end? Thanks

        • Sue

Beacause once the register starts deducting coupons, the total may not be high enough to use the coupon. For instance, when I shopped there yesterday, my total (before taxes) was 20.61. If the clerk had scanned even one coupon before my 5 off 20, I would not have been able to use it because my total would have been under 20.00

          • Pauline

Thanks, Sue! I hadn’t thought of that one! The light bulb is on! LOL

    • Karen Smith

So has anyone had issues using “Target” Manufacturing coupons at Rite Aid. Last Sunday they took them – this Saturday they wouldn’t? It’s not an Internet coupon, its a Target Manufacturing coupon.

      • Mae

I had that same problem at my Rite Aid here in Cumming, GA. I politely took the coupon back and had the cashier remove it from my bill. I sent an email to corporate about what their policy is on that because it didn’t say anything about that on their corporate coupon acceptance policy.

        • Karen Smith

Thanks – I did the dame thing and you are right – there is nothing on the policy. The girl stated that they wont get reimbursed from the manufacturer – but that’s not right….its a manufacturer coupon!

        • Brandie

Do you ever hear back from Rite Aide’s corporate office? I’ve emailed them twice in the last couple of months and don’t get a response at all. Just curious.

      • I recently had a problem at my Rite Aid too. However, I stood there and explained that it said Manufacturer Coupon and no where on the coupon did it state “only redeem at Target.” They ended up taking it but yes, there was some confusion and a 5 minute ordeal. I was visiting a different Rite Aid though in which I wasn’t familiar with the staff. I’ve learned to stick with the one you shop the most and like because each seems to operate differently! Not just Rite Aid but all the others too.

      • Sarah

My Rite Aid (New Hope in Dallas, GA) will take them as long as they scan. I asked one day before I even picked up the product to be sure I wouldn’t have problems at check-out.

    • Sally

FYI the No Nonsense Hosiery has to be $2.99 or above to be B1G1. I didn’t notice this and bought the knee hi @2.49 and they didn’t ring up B1G1. Looked at the flyer and saw my mistake. Also watch receipt because my John Freida Luxurious Volume B1G1 50% off did not ring up right. The manager gladly fixed that mistake. Christmas items were 90% off with the exception of toys. All in all a good trip.

      • What was the price on your John Freida? I was considering this deal but didn’t know the price. Thanks!

        • Sally

At my store it was $6.99. I thought it was a good deal. I had two $2.50 coupons that I had printed a while back.

      • Kelly

Sally, did you have the John Freida coupon? I can’t find it on the list when I hit “print”. Help!

        • Sally

I had 2 $2.50 coupons that I had printed a while back. When CVS had it on sale and I could never get by there. Made it a good deal for me.

        • Shandrika

You can register on their site (John Frieda) & print a coupon from there. I think it is for luxurious volume.

          • Kelly

            Found it! Thank You

    • jodi

NYC makeup has a $1 SCR on product $1.99 or more. In Feb. All U, there is a Q for $1

      • Karen Smith

Sorry to be lame – but what is an All U?

        • Susan

It’s a magazine with lots of coupons you can subscribe to or buy at Walmart only. I think it’s actually “All You,” though.

      • Is the Feb issue out? I was in Wal-Mart the other night and didn’t see it. Just wondering if I need to make a trip back to Wal-Mart before going to Rite Aid to get my NYC. Thanks!

        • Vanessa

I think only the subscription copies are out. I got mine in the mail, but yesterday when I was at Wal-mart they still had January issues still out.

        • Rebekah

if you bought one for jan 2010 there is a q in it to get 0.50 off of feb’s issue. the q says it comes out 1/22/2010 on the q so you might want to keep your eyes peeled for it:)

    • Jessica

Just to put my two-cents in… I love my Rite Aid. The manager is totally pro-coupon – he knows that his store will get reimbursed for the coupons and that they are actually making more money by encouraging coupons because people buy more. He seems to have taught his employees well, because none of them hassle me and always congratulate me on getting my total oop so low. So not all RA’s are stingy coupon nazis!

      • Mae

Lucky you! I want to go to your Rite Aid! I’ve never had a problem with this Rite Aid I went to, until this cashier showed up. Normally, the other cashiers are cool with my coupons. I know not to shop there when this particular lady is working.

      • Catherine

Same here in Central VA. They are very coupon friendly and make it easy to shop and save!

        • Sally

My RA and Walgreens are great but I’m not so crazy about my CVS.

          • I used to despise shopping at Rite-Aid. Now it is my favorite! The cashiers have no problem using any coupons and will even work with you on products that are out of stock. For instance my sister wanted to purchase the 8 bar pack of Dove Soap but they only had one. She allowed my sister to get (2) 4 bar packs to make it up. I have told everyone I know.

    • Karen Smith

Also remember to ask for your “Game of Life” tickets. The last two times in I have had to ask. The cashier stated they were told not to pass them our unless someone asked b/c they gave so many away the first week. I have gotten 3 entries to the chance for a cruise and $2.00 instant cash. Keep playing!

    • Tisha

There is a coupon in the P&G from 12/27 that is buy 2 old spice deodorants and get a Secret Flawless free. Just thought I would share. :-)

      • Tisha

Oops…never mind. the q is for Old Spice Red Zone and the sale is on High Endurance. Didn’t know there was a difference until I got to the store. Oh well! :-)

    • Jenny

On the Nyquil, if you bought two bottles and the puffs, wouldnt it be 9.33 toward the PG rebate instead of 5.34?

    • bethany

Ok, I have been doing Walgreens and CVS for awhile now, but the last area I lived in didn’t have Rite Aid. Now I live in a place that does. So now I’m trying to figure out the whole game here… and I see in people’s scenarios, that it involves a “Video Values” 5/20 coupon. I got registered for the Video Values, watched the first video, got 2 points, left it, came back, and my points seem to be gone? Anyone?

Also, I’ve read a few scenarios where it suggests using multiple 5/20 coupons… do you have to earn 20 Video Values points for EACH 5/20 coupon you get or if you make it to 20 points, can you print as many as you want? Just trying to figure out how this whole new Rite Aid game works!

Thanks in advance for any help!

      • Angela

        Bethany,

I have been doing the video values for a couple of months now and here’s how it works for me:

At the beginning of each month, I log in and spend about 30 minutes watching videos totaling 20 points. That gets my $5/20 right off for me to print. All the videos give you coupons, as you know. Once you have watched 20 points worth of videos FOR THAT MONTH ONLY, you can go to the “My Rewards” tab in the top right corner to print off the coupons you want. Each coupon only prints once, including the $5/20. The reason your points went away was probably because the month started over. Also, you can print off your coupons any time before the last day of the month and they expire the last day of the following month. So, if you watched videos today, your coupons could be printed until January 31, but they would expire February 28. If there are any coupons you want, YOU MUST PRINT THEM BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH or else they automatically delete.

        Hope this helps.

        • Angela

Actually, I checked and you can print them up until they expire. Sorry about that.

          • Thanks Angela! I was actually wondering about the 5/$20 coupon today myself.

    • L. Shepherd

I’m havign trouble getting to the TUMS Q. Any suggestions?

    • Hey everyone, I just started a page on Facebook for the Rite Aid in Simpsonville, SC (just search groups for Rite Aid Simpsonville). I realize only a handful of people here, if any actually shop at our location, but I hope to use the page to help answer any Rite Aid question, or store specific questions or requests. Of course, I can’t speak for all the other stores out there, but I can hopefully help guide you to a more pleasant and problem-free shopping experience. Check it out and feel free to comment or ask questions and I will try to get the best answer straight from the horse’s mouth. Thanks.

      • Ashley

Hi Jason, I’m a regular shopper! Last time I was in there you remembered me as the one with Target coupons and looking for the Perfect Brownie Pan :). I LOVE your location as everyone is always nice and accomadating. I will check out your Facebook page. Thanks! -Ashley

**Now you know where I get all my coupon ideas!

      • Jason had this posted on his Facebook page, it’s very helpful to know exactly what Rite Aid’s policies are:

Jason.. I usually shop the Five Forks location but now I will be shopping at your location more often!

    • kelli

my fiance and I each “bought” a bag of Stacy’s Pita Chips today for 6¢ each (we used a free bag coupon) and we each got 2 game of life tickets. pretty great deal! :)

    • Pauline

Hi everyone! I am new here so please bear with me! My coupon supply is almost nil since I am so new so I am ISO of printable ones. But when I click on the link for the printable Ritz coupon and it comes up with the Lance crackers $1 off (max. 2) coupons. (Also, a great deal!) Does anyone know where I can get a printable Ritz cracker coupon (or 2)?

    • Lyndsey

Does anybody know if you have to get both items on a B1G1 free deal or can you get one item and it rings up half price? Thanks!

    • Asenath

Rite Aid has Christmas clearance at 90%. Wrapping paper is 19 cents a roll and Ornaments (20 shatterproof balls) are .79 for the pkg.

    • Thank you so much for this post. This helps make my shopping trip easier each week. On a second trip to Rite-Aid, I picked up the Coppertop Batteries and there was another $1 coupon on it! I was excited to get them at that cost. Check out post for $5 trip!

I have a question about the listing with asterisks beside them. Such as Pantene**. What does the asterisks mean? Searched all over the place including “lingo” in Getting Started. Just can’t figure it out. Thanks for help.

    • kelli

I’m still pretty new to Rite Aid and I was just wondering if they should adjust down coupons.

I tried buying the Bayer Aspirin and Tums yesterday and all of my coupons were rejected because they were for 1 cent over the product price. The cashier said that she wasn’t allowed to adjust the product price up or the coupon total down. I was very frustrated and just left with nothing. I had a list of stuff that I was going to buy but the only things that they had were the Bayer and the Tums, I’m wondering if the coupons would’ve worked if I had purchased more. There’s no tax of medicine in my store, so my total would’ve been -3 cents.

    • Denise

Several comments above mentioned an Olay rebate. Can anyone tell me where to get this rebate form?

      • Cynthia

I’m not sure how to do links, but you can do a search for an Olay rebate or Regenerist Rebate on this site, and a link should come up. She posted links to them on Dec. 28.

        • Rachel

I just posted the link above – scroll up toward the top.

          • Denise

Thank you. I found it with Cynthia’s information at the same time you were posting the link. :)

    • Cynthia

Went to RiteAid today to buy some Olay. Bought the Quench and it rang up half price by itself! There was no sale sign by it. Was hoping to use that to get my second item 50% off and then use the Quench rebate, but that didn’t work. They graciously cancelled the whole transaction so that I could rework my deal. So I ended up with 2 Olay items at half price. :) With the $2 coupon, it made the Quench only 1.37 without a rebate. I love Rite Aid!
