Roku 2

Update: This is sold out.

Tanga has been having some great sales on big technology brands recently…and these products are selling out FAST.

Tonight they are running a deal on the Roku 2.  Get a Roku 2 HD Entertainment Streaming Device for $39.99 + $4.99 shipping.  These are regularly $59-$69 so that’s a nice break on a new gadget.

If you aren’t familiar with this wonderful little box let me tell you about it.  My husband found a deal on the original Roku last year and had it set up in 5 minutes, you plug it into your TV and it connects your TV to your wireless network allowing you to stream almost anything in the world!  We watch Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, FoodTV, ESPN and so much more.  The fun part after you get the box you pay nothing for the channels (except Netflix).  We don’t have cable, but with this little guy hooked to the TV I don’t think my husband has ever felt deprived!!

just ordered it, have been debating getting one for a room in our house with no cable outlet and no ability to run one.

    • sold out.  :(

This deal is sold out already but don’t feel like you missed out. This is an older (still awesome) version of Roku. I owe it and it’s the best home entertainment thing that happened to me… BUT… I would rather pay more and get a newer Roku box, selling for $100. While you can get out the most out of your movie watching experience with any version Roku, the newer version that came out has some great features, such as: USB drive to plug in your storage and play pictures/videos on Roku, gaming capability, and better remote. So don’t feel bad that you didn’t get this one – check out the device, I highly recommend the newest version – it’s worth every penny of $100 you pay for it.

HI, Just wondering if you can play ESPN on it.
        Thanks

Are you sure your husband watches ESPN with this?  I was researching their website to learn more about this product and no where do they list ESPN as one of their sport channels.  This would be the deciding factor for my husband.  He will not miss watching Gamecock football for anything!!

My hubby and I had the same conversation yesterday! He needs ESPN and I would really like to have HGTV. Are there available on Roku? If so, we’re in!!
