Target is going to continue their online price matching policy! This means you can price match any Target.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, ToysRUs.com, or BabiesRUs.com price at Target in-store.

This applies to current prices as well as previous purchases. If you find a lower price within 7 days they will refund the difference. The item must be in-stock at the time of the price match and clearance prices will not be honored.

You will need to price match at Guest Services. There is a limit of one competitor online price match per identical item, per guest. You can use manufacturer’s coupons, but not Target store coupons.

So for example you buy 3 bottles of Windex, you could only price match one bottle with another store’s price.  You buy a bottle of Windex, Tide detergent and Pine-sol… you could price match all three (not that you would be price matching cleaning supplies).

You can see the full policy here.

It looks all fine and good in print…… however…I tried this yesterday at target… and they told me and I quote “Each store manager has the right to adjust the policy to fit local needs.” I contacted corporate and still have not heard back from them….. and YES they have the corporate signage all over the store that states the price matching…..

Walmart was the same way with me. I tried to price match yogurt, tomatoes, and milk at Walmart and they made it the most difficult thing in the world!!! Their commercials and big signs advertise fantastic price matching! I couldn’t believe it! Ill stick to actually going to Publix, Harris Teeter, and Target instead!

I’m with YOU!! If I can minimize stops while still saving money, I’m in – especially at a retailer where I can stack coupons.

I did this today and thankfully what I was price matching was something from Target.com or they wouldn’t have done it. I tried to show them the website but they said “Well, we have our policy printed and that is what we go by”. I was trying to be helpful but they started getting rude. Whatever. I got my $5 discount on some gym pants so I’m happy enough.

Tried this today with a video game. It worked great, and I saved $5!
