dozen eggsStarting 3/29, you can get a great deal at Walmart or Target on a dozen large eggs! You can price match with the Target ad if shopping at Walmart or shop at Target and use an Ibotta offer to get the eggs for 49¢.

This is a great time to stock up so if you think you might need the eggs for dying or eating, check it out!

Deal Idea:

Buy:
Dozen Large Eggs 99¢ (price match Target ad)
Use:
.50/1 Eggs Chicken, 1 dozen, excl egg substitutes and other types of animal eggs, Ibotta App mobile coupon
makes it 49¢ per dozen

I’ve had trouble price matching eggs at Walmart, so I don’t go there anymore. Thankfully I live in an area where I can visit the actual store where the eggs are on sale without going out of the way.

The eggs are not on Ibotta for Target anymore.

The eggs are on Ibotta for Walmart.

There is also a 5% off market pantry eggs Cartwheel offer so you get the eggs for $.94 cents at Target. Rather just go to Target and get as many as I want than waste time going to Walmart and price matching to get 1 dozen at $.49 after Ibotta and paying $.06 cents more per dozen if I want more than on dozen. Price matching at Walmart is always a pain.

It’s even a few cents LOWER if you use the Red CArd as well as Cartwheel (like i did). Yay!

I love the graphic. Where did you find a picture of an egg carton with only 10 spaces in it?

My understanding is that Wal Mart will ONLY price match identical items. For example, this sale is on “Market Pantry” eggs, which are exclusive to Target, so Wal Mart will NOT give you “Great Value” brand for the same price. If the ad were for “Eggland’s Best” , then WM would price match for their “Eggland’s Best” since it is brand identical. The same goes for produce and meat. Does anyone have a different experience about WM price matching restrictions?

Anyway, I got the MP eggs at Target today. Because the sale ends tomorrow (and I have been so soured by my WM experiences in the past), I was expecting ALL the eggs to be gone. How happy was I to see over 100 dozen left on the shelves? I absolutely LOVE Target – they kick the tail of WM on customer service, keeping things in stock, cleanliness, and caliber of customers. I wish their prices were just a bit lower, b/c I do end up paying more than WM EVEN WITH the Red CArd 5% and cartwheel discounts. Most of the time, I’m happy to pay 1-2 % more though. It is just SUCH a better experience than shopping at Wal Mart. Sorry for the extra long post. Happy Easter to all!
