Unilever has just launched a new e coupon site with a ton of coupons that good at Kroger and Kroger Family stores. They are all good through 10/18. I expect this to be a onetime offer like the Bringing Hope eCoupons. I also expect there to be a pretty nice Unilever mega event, (not necessarily next week), but before these expire so, unless you need any of the items now I would hold off for a little bit and plan to use them later.

There are also new eCoupons on site for Smithfield meats!  There are 6 different coupons from .55/1 to $1 off various Smithfiled products.  They all expire at the end of August.

Remember that your card can only hold 50 eCoupons so load only what you will use for now and use most of your coupon spaces for the eCoupons that will expire sooner, like Cellfire.

(Thanks Amanda & Ronald!!)

It looks like the Richmond, VA area is not participating. Bummer!

    • It accepted my Kroger card, but says that no stores in my area are participating. So why did it accept my card and why did it allow me to load 1 coupon. This website needs some work it appears.

    • Jennifer

      Michelle,

After you register your card, it appears on the right hand of your screen. Then, it tells you if any *other* stores are participating. Don’t get discouraged, but check back to see if your Kroger card is listed on the right. It is a bit confusing!

      Thanks again, Jenny!

Yes, I had the same issue the others did, but I saw to the side that you could click on Kroger. Also, I notice a typo at the top where it says: click on add to cart “of” drag coupon. They mean “or”. That puts up a red flag for me that it’s going to be problematic just like shortcuts…I clicked on several coupons, but when I went to “my coupons” there were none! I am kind of over these annoying ecoupons! They would be great IF they worked. Sorry to be so pessimistic, but I am just finding these don’t always do what they say. And with the shortcuts I can’t get any customer service.

    • Heather

I love Unliver products. I was worried when I started couponing that I would end up with a bunch of stuff not made in the US. Most of Unliver’s product are which is great. I get it cheap and get to help preserve a neighbors job!

I spoke to someone at Kroger HQ about all of the problems with Shortcuts, Cellfire, etc. She told me that as long as I had my printouts of what I had loaded I could check out, bring the items that did not take off to customer service and they would call Kroger HQ and load the savings back to my card. They have done this twice for me. While it is a pain, at least I got the savings. I then spoke to someone else at Kroger about the problem and they told me that they have found that if the cashier starts entering items BEFORE swiping your Kroger Plus card, this can cause problems. Since I was told that I have been making the cashier scan my Kroger PLUS card BEFORE she rings anything up and have had no problems.

Sweet, Smithfield bacon is BOGO next week…that should make it about 1.75.

    • Leisl

I could not get the Smithfield or the Unilever site to let me load my coupons or Kroger card #. It says that there are no participating stores in my zip code. Oh well.

    • NICOLE

CAN YOU USE THIS AT PUBLIX?

    • brandy

      Jenny,

Hey, I have noticed that when I load my cellfire, shortcuts and P&G e coupons it will let me put up to 50 from each site. Is this how it works or is it actually only putting a few of each on there?

      Thanks for all you do!

    • Marie

Was anyone else having issues signing up for the Smithfield site?

    • Shannon

When I first registered with the website it said there were no stores participating in my area. I changed my zip code to the same zip as my local Kroger and then the coupons came up. I love this website, it has been a great resource for my family!

    • I was able to sign up on the Smithfield site but the Unilever site wont let me load them to my card. It lets me put them in my cart but then it doesn’t let me load them?? weird i defiantly think they have problems with this site.

    • Samantha

      Martinsville, VA not participating! :-(

    • The site let me enter my card, then said no participating stores in my area. It let me drag coupons over, but wouldn’t “Load card”. I emailed their customer service, but no reply yet. I’m outside the Atlanta area.

    • Samantha

I am none to happy with my Kroger. They advertised buy 4 Kelloggs prodcuts get $4 off – unlimited.

I had a ton of Kellogg’s coupons and bought 20 qualifying Kellogg’s products.

Got home and discovered my receipt only gave the $4 deal twice. It should have done this 5 times for $20. My bad for not checking before I left the store.

I’ll have to go back and get this corrected some how. Aren’t there laws to prevent consumers from being cheated like this???

    • srtasa

unilever loaded my ecoupons, but smithfield won’t load my ecoupons.

i need to get a tom thumb card because these ecoupons places won’t accept my safeway card for tom thumb even though the store will when i am in texas visiting.

    • It allowed me to load my Kroger card and load one coupon to it. But now it just blips when I pick a product to add, and then tell it to load. Both the Unilever and Smithfield websites are having the same problem wih my card.
Thanks for the suggestion Jenny, but until they get their website working properly, this is a waste of time if you are in the Cincy area.

    • Whitney

I had trouble loading coupons on the Smithfield website. Also said no particpating stores form my zip code so I put another one for Knoxville and it seemed to work. So I’d just keep trying. Worth a shot I guess.

    • Okay, now I’m confused… By my count, between Shortcuts, P&G, and Cellfire, I’ve always had 20-50 e-coupons loaded for EACH of those programs, and so I’ve carried well over 50 coupons TOTAL on my Kroger card and had no issues before. Although I did recently have 2 P&G coupons not work in the last 2 weeks, but I think it’s b/c I had a paper coupon for each deal that was $/2 or Buy one, get one… (both ALSO in conjunction with the PG $4 deal at Kroger).

I tried the Unilever site and my orig zip in Knoxville told me no stores were participating, though it took my card. I changed it to the zip of my local Kroger, and it let me add coupons, but when I went to load them, nothing. The page stayed the same and kept saying “Done but with Errors” on the bottom of the web frame.

    • Originally I could not get mine to load. I then started trying to load one coupon at a time and it worked. I got about 12 loaded and then it stopped working.

    • Deanna

I haven’t had trouble with either of the sites. There is no Kroger, etc. in my town so I have to click view all participating stores when it says there are no stores in my area but once I do that and add my Kroger card, there is no problem after I click add coupon other than it is a bit slow!

    • Amanda in Atlanta

I helped my friend load her Kroger card today with no problems at all. The system is a little quirky, but loaded all the coupons fine. The trick to this is to use the EDIT button on the page that says “there is no participating stores in your area.” (It is under the Kroger store information, on the right hand side of page.) When the blank rectangle pops up enter your card number. Then load your card by click and dragging and then click LOAD. You will be able to print this list and take it to the store with you. I wish the list had pictures, since I am “right-brained.”

      Hope this information helps.

I don’t know if it is the unilever sale but I just got a mailer from Kroger that said they were having a Mega Savings Event from 8/16/09- 8/29/09. They sent four coupons and called this a best-customer event preview. The coupons were Tostitos chips, Lipton Iced Tea, Pillsbury bread and GM cereal.

    • Jessica Janes

I am really annoyed with the Unilever site. It allowed me to load a few, but then just stopped working. I have contacted CS, but no reply yet. Has anyone else contacted CS and actually gotten a response? If so, what did they say? There are a few of those coupons that I could really use today.

    • Honey

It went better today with navigating this site. I was able to add some coupons. But I had to do so one at a time. If I tried to drag a bunch over and then add it would freeze up. Try it one at a time. Thanks Jenny!

    • DeAnn

Response I received from Unilever ecoupon site:

Thank you for contacting the Your More Value for the Way You Live e-Coupons
      help center.

The following stores are participating in the promotion:
Kroger, City Market, Dillons, Fry’s, Jay C, King Soopers, and Smith’s.

    • Melissa

I haven’t had a problem with loading the coupons from either site but what I would like to know is…can you use paper coupons in conjunction with the digital Unilever coupons.

    • david

I’ve also had the “no stores participating in your area” message – but it did let me load the coupons and I used them sucessfully at Kroger…outside Atlanta area. Don’t give up when u get the error message they do work!

    • david

And Melissa, YES you can combine them with paper coupons.

    • Please tell me why we have to give our full birthdate for ecellfire coupons and others as well? I have a hardtime giving my birth year because of someone being able to obtain too much personal information by way of the internet. Does anyone else have a problem with this or am I being a tad paranoid? Thanks for your help.

    • Vera

I was able to load only 2 coupons from the Unilever ecoupons and then got message that I had the max of 50 coupons. After several help requests, the last of which showed my frustration, I finally received this e-mail.
Thank you for contacting the Your More Value for the Way You Live e-Coupons help center.

Currently, a limit of 50 coupons can be added to your card at a time. This includes coupons loaded from any of the following e-coupon programs:
      Unilever, P&G eSAVER, and Smithfield.

After you redeem a coupon, more coupons can be added to your card. We plan to increase the coupon limit in the future.

    • Vera

I had loaded all the P&G eSaver coupons, therefore, they are eating up all the space.

    • Patti

Has anyone had trouble with the Smithfield ecoupons. I bought two items and they didn’t come off.
