It’s already a great week at Walgreens so this is just icing on the cake!  Check out all the weekly deals.

Or for everyone like me that gets thrilled with Diaper Deals this makes Huggies $1.64 to $2.64 ea!

Is the link to the 15% q working correctly?

    • Stacy

The 15% off link does not appear to be working. :O(

    • JackieMac

I don't think it is working correctly

      • Anonymous

Just go to Walgreens.com and click on the 15% off button, it will bring it up.

    • Holly

I just went directly to the Walgreens website and printed it from there.

    • I updated the link. Sorry I'm trying to work from the road in the middle of no where SC.

    • Christa

Go to the Walgreens homepage. You'll see where you can print it there!

    • ADoggPerson

      The link is not working

    • mommyramsey

There is an extra http// in the address take that out and it will work

    • Dianne

Are the “eligible products” every thing except what is excluded on the coupon?

    • Anonymous

Go to Walgreens.com. It prints there.

    • lalapinski

Most excellent! I already have my Huggies coupons ready to work a sweet diaper deal and this IS the icing on the cake!!!!!

    • shanna

I have a few questions… the first is a bit of a no-brainer, but I seek confirmation: since I have multiple transactions planned, shall I make sure to print out enough copies of the coupon to apply one to each transaction?

Does the 15% discount apply to the pre-coupon amount, or the order total after Qs?

What does it mean “coupon must be presented at photo or cosmetics counter to apply discount”? Is there something special about those registers versus the another register? Or am I reading more into it than necessary?

      Thanks!

      • Jennifer

I think those are the only registers that can do the 15% off for some reason….They told me last time but I forgot why….

      • wolverinehokie

I had the same questions as well as:

Does this count towards the coupon limit? Like you can't have more coupons than items, or can it be applied in addition to coupons?

        • MelRae

It is not a manufacturer coupon, so I would think you would not have to have an extra item just for that. I have multiple transactions planned as well. I would think that they would let you have the 15% for all your transactions that day. This is definitely one of those situations where you hope that your fave cashier is working. Honestly, if you know the name of your fave cashier, it might be worth a call to find out if she is working. Or, if you go in the morning and have issues…try again later in the day, and maybe you will get a better cashier.

      • lisadales

Those are the only two registers that the can take off 15%, it is really the employee discount.

        • MelRae

And photo and cosmetics are the best places to check out all the time anyway!

    • LWWants2Save

So excited that I haven't already gone in for my diaper purchase!!

    • beth

NOTE that the coupon reads that it must be redeemed at cosmetics counter or photo counter ONLY.

    • Tina

The cashiers need the coupon before they start ringing up your purchase, also.

      • Dianne

        Why is that, Tina?

        • Tina

It's the way the computers work. I didn't do that the first time and then had to void my whole purchase and start over….so, just a heads up. It rings up 15% off as it goes.

    • Megan A.

Since they just ring this up as an employee discount, does this count toward your coupon count? I've always used filler items to account for these, but it occurs to me now that it may not be necessary.

    • katymac33

You can also text Heart to 21525 and get and electronic copy of the coupon sent to your phone so you don't waste ink and you can also use multiple times and multiple stores by just showing your phone to the cashier.

Yes you have to present this first because the cashier keys something in so then each item will ring up 15% off.

    • Mel

I got an email for a free collage at Walgreens online today with code VDAY oo!

    • savysaver

You have to use the coupon at the photo counter or they will not take it off!!! It says in very tiny print on the coupon. Indeed a great week of savings. I got a swiffer wet/dry mop, 16 dry refills, 2 hershey candy bars, 4 packs of kotex, 2 quatro titanium razors and 3 boxes of kleenex for $11.09 I have to admit I messed up on a $3 RR and the 15% coupon and I could have saved an additional $4.32 for a total of $6.77 out of pocket. Oh well I still did really well.

    • Deb

Now that we've cleared up the 15% Q issue, how about presenting your planned scenarios to use the discount today?
How about the Boogie Wipes? They'll be .55 cents after WGS 15% and the $2. IP. I have no kids at home but I find uses for these wipes every day-will be fab on our trip after work today to Gatlinburg!

    • Melissa

I am brand new to this and just got back from Walgreens, instead of $17 I spent $8! Used RR's, manuf printables, and the 15% off, spread over 2 transactions. Like you say, took some thinking through before I got there but it was fun and didn't take too long – my 8-mo-old still home in time for her am nap! Now I need to start collecting Sunday paper inserts, will help me a lot more at HT our regular groc store. Thanks Jenni!

    • Courtney

If it rings up 15% off as it goes, will that mess up the RR? For instance, you need to purchase $15 of the John Freida products to receive a $5RR… will you need to buy more products to reach the limit? I know that the coupons don't mess up the RR because they are presented AFTER, but if it is taking 15% off as it goes, will that be a problem?

      • Tania

I tried the John Freida deal this morning & the 15% discount made the RR not print… of course you don't find that out until you've paid for it. They had to refund the transaction & ring it up without the 15% & the $5 RR printed just fine. Looks like the 15% discount may only be good for non-RR deals. Oh, well!

        • Tania

Okay, I just realized what might have happened. The John Freida deal was buy $15 worth of JF items to get the RR. The 15% coupon obviously lowered the price to $4.25 each, which meant I had to buy 4 instead of 3 items. I guess my brain wasn't functioning this morning :)

          • kmoon

I just used this on the John Freida products and RR did not ring up, I realize why now reading your post!! I asked the lady what she thought was a better deal the 15 percent off or the 5 dollars back on RR and she just ended up letting me keep the 15 percent and giving me the $5 RR by ringing up 3 more and then voiding them after the RR printed! Nice!!! :)

          • Courtney

I ended up buying 4 instead of three and using another $2q that I had. The RR rang up just fine. The 15% off was nice!

      • MAC

Yes, it was a problem. I was doing that exact transaction and my RR didn't print. So when I asked, they said it was because the discount took me below the $15 needed to qualify. (I would have had to buy yet another item to bring it back up again….I didn't have another coupon and I actually only did this transaction since it reduced the price ridiculously……) So I had to cancel out the order and NOT use the 15% discount on that in order to get the $5 RR (I only saved $2.25 with the discount so it didn't make up for the lost $5 RR….so I chose to go with the RR since I was using it on the next transaction.)

    • Tiffany

I text the word HEART to 21525 and I got 15% off today!

    • Ashlea

I went on the way to work today. I just went to the front counter without thinking, and it worked fine there. I think they like you to do it at Photo or Beauty because it's the “employee” discount. idk though. I'm just happy to be getting a discount!! :) Especially during such a great week. :)

    • leeci

Just used the 15% on diapers, plus a $2 manufacturer coupon. You did need the manager there – they explained the store was essentially giving me an employee discount. Worked out great!

    • bethany

Same here…..When I used the 15% off Q, the catalina neglected to print the 5RR for the John Frieda deal and the 3RR for the Huggies deal. I asked the manager and he said that it was because I used 'a coupon' and that if you use 'a coupon' in the transaction, then the RR will not print. I know this is not correct, but this was my 3rd trip to Walgreens and every time I have an issue….One time the cashier just flat out told me that she has no idea why the RR print sometimes and why they don't and that she is still trying to figure it out. I may be sticking to CVS until I can find a store associate who can help me better understand it all.
