      GREAT week at Wags!

      • Jgb

I had a GREAT day thanks to this blog! I don’t shop much at Walgreens because their prices are higher than the grocery store, but I had to get my prescription filled so I thought I would check out the adds here.I was able to avoid going to the grocery store  because of the items I was able to buy that were on sale and that I had coupons for.

    • Tennille

Where do I get the infant care booklet?

      • Katie

I kept asking Cosmetics and they never had them. Then I spotted them in a little clear shelf-hanging rack right below the Gerber food on the baby aisle.

      • Barbara

Our store had them in the Vitamin isle I believe.

        • Barbara

          ….that would be aisle!

      • Bekahbekah7

Most stores do not have anymore of the infant care booklet, but you can just give the code to the cashier to type in instead of acutally having the coupons since they are actual store coupons. Atleast they allow it at all my local walgreens.

Ebay. My walgreens wouldn't accept codes. Got 3 books for $2. It upsets me to pay for something that should be free but ill save a lot. Diapers r expensive enuf!

    • Surfergirl8989

do u give the cashier the rr first or your coupons?

      • Amanduhhope

Always give the coupons first…Walgreens must honor their RR!  :)

        • Surfergirl8989

          ok thanks

          • Katie

Actually, you have to have an item in the transaction for every manuf. coupon and/or RR you use. So don't hand them two manuf. and two RR for two items … however you can combine two Wag coupons and two manuf. This is because RR are technically mauf. coupons, not Wag coupons. I embarrased myself a few times to learn this :-)

          • Calpurnia78

ACTUALLY you are supposed to give the RR first, coupons second, according to Jenny and also I ran into this last week when I had a coupon for 50 cents off of 2, it attached itself to 2 items so it wouldnt let me pay wih RR- the cashier told me to always give her the RR first and we would not have run into that problem. Normally however, it doesnt make any difference.

Don't forget about the Cottonelle deal.  I didn't see that she posted it anywhere.  You must get it on 7/31 to get the RR.

        • sarahinNC

Thank you for this deal.  How did you know about it, is it a monthlong deal?….by chance is the $3.50 RR the same as the $3.50 Catalina deal on this right now?  Or are they two separate things?  Thanks!

          • Liz

It is the same as the Catalina.  Walgreens just calls them RR :)

          • Trish

I tried this at my Walgreens when I first heard about the Cataline a few weeks ago and it never printed. I ended up having to go to Kroger to get the catalina when they had it as part of their Mega Event.  My Walgreens wasn't even sure of any deal at the time.  Just a heads up so you are not disappointed if it doesn't work.

          • Liz

If it doesn't work, and it's a catalina deal, just contact catalina 1-888-8COUPON and they will send you the RR win the mail.  I've done that twice, and they're fast and nice.

    • Stefluvs2sign

Manager at Wags told us there would be no more RR's soon. Anyone else heard about this? SHe said they are going to a mail in rebate system instead.

      • Zee

well if they are they're going out with a bang!! but hopefully they'll see the dramatic decline in sales. who would shop at wags if it weren't for the RRs? Walmart, Target, and others are cheaper.

        • mommyof1

i agree.. we dont go to walgreens – but i always look at the sale, just in case we go by the one in our adjoining town.. but without the ecb from cvs, i would get all my goods from the grocery store or walmart or target.

      • Karmah60

I really hope this isn't true.  I'm limited to two drugstores near me as it is – Rite Aid or Walgreens.  Rite Aids deals are less than desirable lately.  If Wags loses the only incentive I have to shop there I'll be in coupon hell having to drive 40 minutes to a CVS every Sunday. :/

    • Bauercandace

The Walgreen closest to me no longer allows multiple transactions :(  They've become such a pain that I hate to even go, but on a week like this I just have to!

      • Karmah60

Wow, really?  I'd be speaking to management.  I love going to my Wags on Sunday, there's a cashier there who goes out of her way to help me, and she's so friendly and happy I just wanna squeeze her, lol.

        • Aria

I had the same problem with wags, even worse, if they let me do separate transactions, don't accept my RR from previous purchase. So I stop going to wags.

      • EB

I almost never shop at walgreens because ours is not very coupon friendly and the need to buy filler items I do not need to use the RR is something I consider a waste and a hassle. Recently I discovered that my Harris Teeter will accept the RR from Walgreens, so now I will go to walgreens and get things if they are a great deal and just spend the RR at the grocery store where I know I would spend the cash anyway – saves the hassle of trying to roll the RR at walgreens.

      • Asw3711

You must be in the Carrollton Texas area.  I had the same problem at a store in that area.

    • Sha08

Is 1.45 a great deal for peanut butter and jelly?

      • sarahcas

Not really for peanut butter. I know the 18 oz containers of Kroger brand PB go on sale for $1 every once in a while. I don't buy jelly often, so I don't know about that. If you need some or have brand loyalty to those companies, then now is probably a good time to get a jar or two.

      • mommyof1

if your grocery store doubles coupons up to 50 cents then no.. i got a jar of peter pan pnut butter for less than 50 cents from publix before when it went on sale.

jelly.. thats a reasonable price.. they sometimes go on sale for real cheap.. but i would pay $1.45 if its something you eat all the time, like we do.

      • Jjfdv

The price is fine if you need it, but its not a stock up price.  I pay between .50-.75 cents for peanut butter and the same for jelly.

    • Karmah60

      Wow, nice week.  I'm excited!

    • HomeschoolingCouponingMom

I got my Free Pantene coupon from FB in the mail this week. That RR deal looks like it might be a good time to use it. :-)

      • Karmah60

I was thinking the same thing.  I got mine yesterday too. :)

    • Wooburne1

This ad is so big, I'll have to go through it a 2nd time to make sure I didn't miss anything!

    • Nursevw

I go to 2 different wags..neither store will not print RR if the deal says “get $5RR wyb $25” of whatever the product if you don't spend $25 after coupons. What is the deal…Jenny is still saying spend $10 on the diapers this week and you will get extra RR. Can anyone help?

    • Hgburmaster

Please help..I'm new to RR and Walgreens shopping. I'm trying to understand why I have to do multiple transactions. Why can't I do all my shopping in one transaction? Do they only allow so many RR or coupons per transaction? I read the policy and didn't see anything stating that.

      • Liz

You do multiple transactions so you spend the LEAST amount of your money as possible.  By doing multiple, you can use the RR you receive from each transaction to turn around and pay for the things in your next transaction.  The goal is to keep rolling them and use their rewards system to pay for the items you need.  Thats where the real savings starts!  Good Luck :)

    • Meg

If I buy the regular Oral-B advantage toothbrush along with the Oral-B-advantage 1-2-3 toothbrush, will I get both the $2RR and the $3RR? thanks.

      • Angelascoupons1

No you have to separate them into different transactions.

    • jp

where can i find the infant care booklet? i asked at walgreens and she said she didn't know about one? she gave me the july coupon book.

      • Liz

I haven't seen them in a while.  When I got mine, they were at the pharmacy.  However, some people say if you have a nice Walgreens employee, they will just type in the Wags code without having the coupon.  The code for the Pampers $2 coupon is 5521.

And, they're always on ebay if you're desperate.

      • Acc8879

Depends on area you live in.  I live out west & I called the store to find out where they have them in the store and the store said that they didn't have any but were getting a lot of requests for them.  I then called corporate and they said they only sent them to certain stores and regions and that I wasn't eligible to get one where I lived.  That was a bit of a bummer.

    • nicole

never shopped at walgreens before.  how long are the RR good for?

      • sarahcas

        Two weeks

        • nicole

          thanks

    • The Lunch Lady

Just figured out how to get $71.18 for $5.08 OOP (plus tax)….IF all of the coupon Gods align and are happy.  Plus I'll have $3.50 for next week!  Of course I'll get there and something will go wrong….but hopefully it won't be too bad!!!

    • Selinalynn338

is their a certain way to use RR in a transaction so they will print after your purchase.? i tried before and the RR did not print. i was buying the same item again, is this why?

      • Liz

yep.  they won't print again if you use the register rewards you received them from to buy the same item again.  however, you could use them to buy something else that is spitting out RR that week, then use those RR to buy the item you were trying to buy in the beginning, and you will get the RR again.  make sense??

        • Selinalynn338

          thanks…i think i got it !!

    • couponmama

Anyone have success getting the Skippy Q? It just kept looping me…

      • victoria

If you can't get it to work, there is a skippy coupon in this coming sundays paper for 1.00/1

    • karen

      Awesome list , thanks Jenny

    • Careycoupon

Is the Wags jumbo pack diapers B1G1 50% a good sale??  Or should I wait for a better sale on those??  It seems like they have had better sales on those in the past, but I can't remember.  Thank you!!  I have 3 in diapers so really trying to watch my spending on diapers.

      • Liz

If you have the Wags Infant Care Booklet with the $2 off each pack of Wags brand diapers, it's a good deal.

      • Save1moredollar

.I hear you on the 3 in diapers! My Wags had them for 8.99, the website says 9.99.  At 8.99 w/$2 coupon they are 2cents cheaper/diaper than buying the big box at Walmart for $14.   I usually just buy mine at WM unless there's a crazy good deal (like the $2.50 deal walgreens had a couple months back)

    • Drgrandma4

Too bad our Walgreens only allow one RR per transaction.

      • Raynesmw

That is not what is in their policy. The register rewards are a manu. coupon-look at the top of it.  You just have to make sure your number of coupons is equal to or greater than they number of items you have.

    • Couponmom618

In your scenario, it's only 75% savings. I usually average at least 90% at CVS. If the Wags Fillers weren't needed, it would help with the OOP. Even though there are huge RR this week, its not worth it for me :(

      • Pamelaptsa

I have different transactions going for Walgreens this Sunday that equals to almost $100 in product and only $3 plus tax OOP and $9 in RR left. I think she was just showing an example on how to get all of the specials listed.

        • Kristen

Can you show us how you get this?  What a deal!

    • Amy K

How do I get the Walgreens infant care booklet?

    • Caseyr1417

does WG have a card that cashier scans like CVS and RA so RR's are associated with a card number or do the RR just print out and anyone can use them?

      • Stephen_A_K

They do not have a card. The RRs will print when you buy something, but beware that it will only print one RR per like items. Example: if you try and buy two of the Crayola Washable Markers, 8 pks you will only receive $2. See the Walgreens getting started at the top of the page for more info. It can be confusing.

    • Catloops

Since my Publix takes RRs and Walgreens is on the way to Publix, I just buy everything in one transaction and then use my RRs to knock down my grocery bill.  Makes check out at WAGS a lot simpler.  Looks like a great week.  Thanks for all your hard work!

      • Ewynn61689

ur publix takes RR's? Thats odd!

        • Latonya

The register rewards is a manufacturer coupon. My Pulblix takes them too.

    • Lori

I could not find the Glad printable coupon??  I even played the game several times, lol, and hunted all over the website, no coupon :(

    • By_ch0ice

Ok i have a question.. I want to cash in on the Keri lotion deal.. can i buy 2 bottles and use 2 coupons and get back 2 RR's or do they need to be seprate transactions?

      • The Lunch Lady

Seperate transactions….and the 1st RR can't be used on the 2nd one or it won't print the 2nd RR.

      • Anonymous

I think if you read the ad, it clearly states only “1 RR printed per transaction/offer” I think this is pretty clearest that it can get

    • Tinajanet1

I have a question regarding PG products and RR's. I think that I have read that you can buy several different items ( Oral B, Pantene, Crest) together in one transaction and they will print separate RR's. My question is can you use a RR from Crest and in a new transaction purchase Oral B with it will the Oral B print a new RR? These are all PG products and I am not sure you can roll them over for a “Different PG product?  Help… Walgreens is so confusing to me!
      Tina

      • Danielle

I know you cant use a crest rr to purchase another tube of crest, but I am not sure about using P & G RR to purchase other P & G items.  You might be able to figure it out if you look at how Jenny set up the deals at the bottome of the page.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

So far I know, you can use the PG RR for new PG RRs as long as the amount is different. For example, you may use PG $3RR to get expected PG$2RR. I have not tried the same dollar amount/smae manuf RR to see if it still prints a new RR for a different product. On safe side, just try different amount RR. If your store is friendly, do a drill; if it does not work, you can always return the items. Dont forget to post here your results if decide to do a drill

    • Julianne

Does anyone know about the Toilet Paper deal At Walgreens?
I remember seeing it somewhere….You get RR when you buy 2 I believe, plus there is a coupon for $1.00 that expires 7/31/2011, Plus a in store coupon for $1.00 off.
I Think the deal is only for SUNDAY though since the coupons expires on Sunday….Does anyone know about this…JENNY?

      • Janell

I just went to the Coupon Network site where they show all the catalinas and the Cottonelle offer says it is no longer available. I can't find any dates to verify that it is actually printing through the 31st. I hope someone can comment if this works before I head out in the morning or else I will probably just skip the deal. Would be a good one if it works!

      • Liz

It worked no problems at my store!!!  yay :)

    • joyce

my question is also somewhat related to julianne, about the cottonelle deal only good on 31st july, how can i use coupon from august booklet, dont the booklet start from 1st august?

      • Julianne

I was confused by that also….I dont know exactly if this deal is going to happen..because I am seeing it on other sites, and Jenny is always 99% right on whats going on, and she didnt post it. But I did the match and this is an awesome deal!! I guess I am going to see what happens on Sunday Morning : )

        • joyce

thats what i wanna do i wanna make sure it works before i drive 35 miles do this and some other deals.

          • Julianne

Oh my goodness! Well I am only 4 miles away from my Wags. I will email you if you like or comment on here to let you know if the deal is working or not. I am planning on going shopping at 8 AM : )

        • Liz

One of the other blogs I follow said she has done it twice already this week because her Wags had Cottonelle on sale.  So, it was practically the same deal, and she said it printed just fine.  So, fingers crossed!

      • Liz

It's only good on Sunday because it's technically a Catalina reward and not a wags register reward.  The Catalina reward for Cottonelle ends on 7/31.  Walgreens always runs their monthly coupon booklets by full weeks in the month.  So, if the last full week of the month ends on the 30th (like July does), then they will end the July book on that day and start the August book on the next day….which happens to give us one more day in July and allows us to overlap and get the cottonelle deal.

        • Coleshay79

So whats the difference between RR & catalina reward?

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

RR (Register Rewards)  is a trade brand name that WAGs uses exclusively for its advertising

    • Kaytee_ina

Why are we getting 2 separate RR for the pampers 10 purchase?

    • Bemrakwilson

Question…  Can you buy two items that should give you RRs, and both RRs print?  For example…if I want to buy the Goody Snap clip for $2 and receive $2 RR and buy Complete for $8 and receive $8 RR in the same transaction, will $10 RR print total?  Or do I have to do separate transactions for everything that will give me a RR?  I've never shopped WAGS with their RR so its a little confusing to me.

      • joyce

you can buy both in same transaction and will get $2 & $8 RR

      • Avon4ava

I was under the impression only one RR would print per transaction. An employee told me that once. I don't shop much at wags but when I do i split up my few items.  But if I didnt have to that would be great. I'll ask next time I do go for sure.

        • Bamasaver

If you buy more than one of the SAME ITEM that gives a RR, then only one of the RRs will print.  If you're buying several DIFFERENT items that give a RR, then the RR should print for each one.

      • Danigirl293

It should, but if it doesn't ask for refund and do each transaction separate

    • marie

The U by Khotex coupon is 2/2 in the August Walgreens coupon booklet. So it will be 1.50 each.

      • Ag Black

Thanks for the correction!  That would have thrown me off for sure!

      • Days1997

Oooohhh. That changes EVERYTHING….lol. I thought fifty cents for good tampons was too good to be true! Thx!

    • Jas

if you have the revolon store coupon for $2 off cosmetics from ss 7/24 will they let you use the same coupon more than once? for example will this scenario work?
      2 revolon cosmetics 9.58 (2 *4.79 full price)
      2 revolon cosmetics 4.79 (2*2.39 b1g1 50% off)
      =14.37 – 4 ((4)$1 off mfc. coupons)
      =10.37 -8 ((1)$2 off str. coupon)
      =2.37

    • Binker269

Are you allowed to use the RR at Harris Teeter?

      • Ninyadelrey

my HT lets me use them, as long as they are a specific $$ off a total purchase (like RRs usually are)… i.e. not Catalinas for $$ or % off a certain item from a store that's not HT.

    • Ashleymparrish

Can someone tell me why she has 2 RR on the Pampers diapers deal? I can't figure it out. Thanks for your help!

    • Spierce6

Where do I go to find the printable weekly ad for walgreens?
Site is still showing last weeks ad.

      • Carrieluvsgreg

Because the sale starts tomorrow, the ad will be released after midnight tonight.  (Possibly a tad earlier…but not much…)

      • Drew's Mom

if u sign up for the wags ad sneek peek on the wagssite they willsend it to ur email!

    • Tchurchillsavon

At my Walreens I have learned that if you pay for something with RR then you WILL NOT get RR; For ex: If I do transaction #4 and use $8,$2,$2 in RR then I will NOT get RR$3,$2.

      • morning214_2002

You will get the RR from transaction #4 cause you are using RR from another item. The only way you will not get an RR for an item that says you will is if you pay with a RR for that item. Example you complete transaction #4 and get the RR and then you get the same things again and use those RR. You will not get more RR cause they already printed for you. I hope I explained that well enough without confusion lol!

        • Nuventurez

I learned to swap the deals around.  If you buy product #1 and get a P&G RR, then buy product #2 and get a SC Johnson RR; you can then buy product #1 again and use the SC Johnson RR, then buy product #2 again and us the P&G RR.  That way you get your RR each time.  I learned that the hard way lol

      • tina

as long as it is not from the same company i.e. you can't use a huggies RR to pay for huggies and get another huggies RR that is why you have to stagger the trans. i have not had a problem rolling over  my RRs. hth!

    • kristen

how do you get a $3RR and a $2RR when you buy 2 Pampers Diapers??? Ad says, $3 RR WYB (2)….????

      • Janell

One of the RR is a Walgreens only Reward and the other is a regular catalina that will print at multiple stores if you meet the requirements.

    • Elimehouse87

How do you get the Infant care booklet?

      • Days1997

I had to BUY one on eBay for eight dollars! All my local walgreens never had them…at least I never saw them.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

eight dollars?  Was it worth it ! I saw so many lying on counter at the store I go to; but that seems like depending on managers; that store manager is extremely coupon friendly and thus she probably always orders and stock them in front store.

    • Bngmoody

I just tried my very FIRST coupon purchase….and it didn't work out quite so well.  I got all my expected savings with my coupons, but got NO RR.  I should have received 9 RR with my purchase according to this online matchup, and I didn't get any.  The cashier acted like he had no idea what RR even was.  Is is a program you already have to be enrolled in?  And I didn't see any signs about RR on any of these matchup items that I purchased.  Help would be appreciated, I feel like a failure LOL.

      • sarahcas

This sale doesn't start until tomorrow.

      • Tinapre33

        The sales start tomorrow.

        • Bngmoody

          Well that makes sense then….DOH!

          • Karihuffstetler

You could return the items tomorrow and then purchase them again to get your RR.

      • Nuventurez

Hi and congratulations on your first start.  Register Rewards are automatic on the items that are supposed to receive them.  They print out of the small Catalina machine that is on the counter (it looks like a secondary receipt machine).  Each eligible purchase should print one out for you to receive.  That's frustrating because I'm trying to understand how the sales person tells you they do not know what RR's are?  I have found at Walgreens the right time to go and I speak to a manager before checkout and have them ring me up in cosmetics.  That way, I do not feel rushed, can concentrate on RR's, and my scenarios without impatient customers waiting, and cashier's who seem frustrated or frazzled with what I'm doing.  Best of luck

    • amyo2006

i have a question. Lets say I buy a PG product that is printing out a RR, can I then buy another PG product that is not printing out a RR. I know I cant use a RR for the same item that is printing out rewards, but what about for another PG product that I just happen to need?

      • sarahcas

You can use a RR for the same item you just bought, it just won't print out another RR. You can use it for anything in the store other than (usually) gift cards, tobacco, and milk, or something along those lines.

    • amyo2006

Another question. My walgreens is opened 24 hrs, can I go tonight at midnight and get the deals? Will the RR print out? Will the Aug coupon book be available tonight? I want to try to beat the rush this time with all the good PG coupons.

      • Michelleanglen

yes you can, I do it every saturday night at midnight

        • amyo2006

I just tried and the RR did not print!!! Its a 24hr walgreens. I had gotten there early at 11:30pm to get everything ready by midnight and when I checked out, the RR did not print!!!!! I had to return everything. The manager said that probably tomorrow at 8am it will start printing RR. I guess I can't beat the rush at my walgreens.  Oh well, at least I tried :)

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think WAGs is in midwest; I am guessing, RR/deals will start printing at their central time; and you went little after midnight possibly eastern? Just a wild guess though!

          • Shelly

I live in the Central time zone and our RR start printing at 2:00 a.m.  It's midnight for the west coast, so whatever time zone you're in, calculate it from that.  HTH

    • amyo2006

Is the keri deal and the colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Toothpaste deal starting tomorrow? It does not show up in my walgreens flyer, are these just unadvertised deals? Working on my scenarios and need to know if these will work even though they don't show up in my walgreens flyer. Thanks!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

They are monthly deals as also isted above in bold; they would not appear in weekly flyers

    • beki

Help – A Wags coupon policy question. I bought 2 Irish Spring Deo (used 2- $1 coupons), 3 Trident Vitality (used 1- $2 off 3 coupon). So I bought 5 items and used 3 coupons.  I thought that I should have been able to use 2 RR but the cashier said that since the 1 coupon for the gum was for all 3 gums I couldn't use the 2 gums as fillers. I thought I had done this before so I'm really confused. I just paid and didn't use the RR but would really like to know the answer to this. Thanks!

      • jenn

You are correct.  You should have been able to use 2 RR.  I had a similar situation a while back and I simply asked the cashier to try them and see if the register would take them.  She did and it worked, so she let me use them.

        • beki

Thanks for your response! After I got my total I gave her one of the RR and it beeped so she looked at the coupons I had used and gave the explanation that the 1 coupon covered all 3 gums. I thought she was wrong (as you confirmed) but at least she was friendly about it!

          • AnnaKoby

I too was told the $2/3 coupon counted as 3 coupons at WAGs so the other 2 gums could not be counted as fillers.  I was trying the same exact transaction as you; had to add 2 different fillers.

            • Diane S.

I had the same thing happen.   Checker said that some mfg coupons cover each item ($2/3) and some didn't. Depended on the mfg.

            • beki

I wonder if there is a way to know which coupons are like that.  Maybe from the numbers on the coupon?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I just tried to do that; it did not work. Apparently $2/3 truly attaches to all three items. Someone here had suggested using RR first and then $2/3 Q. At the end, $2/3 wouldn't go through. In that case, cashier had an option to push it thru; so he did it for me; BUT strangely, then my $3RR was reduced to $2 for some strange reason.

Given, there seems to be variation in register at different stores,

        a) next time, give RR first and then the $/3 Q to see if it goes thru
        b) if not a, then you know you would always need a filler
        c) after tryng a, I think cashier have one option to override Q and push it thru; therefore, you could still try a nice cashier to push the $2/3 Q for you and see how that goes

        • beki

Thanks! I’ve always given RR last so I may try giving them first next time.  I’m very friendly with the cashiers but I’ve never had a cashier at Walgreens push a Q thru. One cashier told me they won’t get reimbursed by the manufacturer if the coupon beeps.  I’m not sure that I believe that but it must be a Wags rule in my area.

          • Anonymous

WAGs register is set up to let employees push thru one coupon but at the end and once they perform that action, no more Q can be scanned. Therefore, cashiers would always say if that would be your last Q to scan before they push it thru.

They get reimbursed. I do not think they sit and match coupons with receipts and how it went-it is just not feasible when handling millions and millions of coupons weekly

    • If I buy 2 of the tampons will it print out 2 RRs?

      • Kerriannnorberg

if you do two seperate transactions

    • jas

if you have the revolon store coupon for $2 off cosmetics from ss 7/24 will they let you use the same coupon more than once? for example will this scenario work?
      2 revolon cosmetics 9.58 (2 *4.79 full price)
      2 revolon cosmetics 4.79 (2*2.39 b1g1 50% off)
      =14.37 – 4 ((4)$1 off mfc. coupons)
      =10.37 -8 ((1)$2 off str. coupon)
      =2.37

    • Angelascoupons1

Question on using the free pantene coupon that many of us got from signing up on Facebook. If I used it with this week's sale, how much would I pay OOP for two bottles? I have the $3/2 coupon….if I use that and am getting one bottle free, am I not paying $.50, then getting $2 RRs back? That would make this a money maker and thus a good opportunity to use the coupon. The only scenario that I could see being better is if pantene was a bogo…but I don't know how likely that is.

      • Amber

I think that is correct…that's my plan too!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You can not use $3/2 Q and also bogo Q on just two pantene products/shampoos. $3/2 attaches to both item A and item B; you can not use bogo Q on item B.  If you have something like $1/1 Pantene shampoo Q, then use it for item A and bogo for item B.

    • Aj6cruz

I am trying to get the best deal with my purchase tomarrow at
Wags. I am a rookie and would glady accept any advise
anyone could give. I want to buy:
      1 tide dtergent w/1$ mc
      2 u by kotex w/2/ 1$ mc
      3 dawns w/3/.50¢mc
      1 complete solution w/ 1$ mc
      4 mouth wash w/4 2$ mc
      4 downy w/4 1$mc
      1 tampax pearl w/1$mc
1 nivea body wash w/2$ mc
I hope someone is up for some math.

      • Aj6cruz

I guess what I'm asking is if there is any order I should go by or does it mater.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Order doesn't matter Coupon to coupon ratio looks fine assuming you have no prior RR that you intend to use to pay for the balance. I would suggest you break down items in multiple transactions only because WAGs registers are infamous for giving errors. Using so many Qs might “onfuse”  the register and the catalina printer.

    • Nuventurez

A good way to track your RR is to know the manufacture name printed at the bottom.  That way if you buy P&G get a P&G RR, then do not use that same P&G RR to buy another P&G that has a RR or you will not get it.  You have to rotate, Use one P&G for one SC Johnson, and vice versa for example.  I hope that helps….store management gave me a course in RR one day at my humble request…lol

      • Aj6cruz

Oh lord!.. Im not sure i get this but thanks for the heads up.

        • ireneY

Welcome to the frustrating world of Wags shopping!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Unless store registers in your region are programmed differently, it is only partially correct. I have used $4 RR from Colgate to get $2 RR for colgate; similarly, I have used $4RR from some P&G deal to get $3RR from P&G. Therefore, it looks like, as long as the amount of RRs is differemt, they can be used for the same manuf deals.

        • ed sykes

In my area, if you use a RR as payment, or partial payment, for an item made by the same company, you WILL NOT get a RR from that transaction.

    • Amy

Does it matter how many register rewards I use to pay with in one transaction? I know the amount of coupons has to match the number of items you're buying and that register rewards are counted as manufacturer's coupons… but I remember when I first started this, a cashier told me they can't accept more than one register reward as payment. Is this true?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

No, it is not. Yu can use as many as you want as long as the number of RR?Qs do not exceed the number f items scanned.  At one store, a shift manager was tellig me exactly that; educatng her was of to no avail-she had the audacity to tell me that she had been working for 8 years and if I was telling her how to do her job.  A call to corp. and then I spoke to the manager and DM, and the manager was pretty knowledgeable about it and she said she would definitely correct the employee.  It is a rocket science for many average employees-enough of their 8 year service

    • Amy

Can I use 2 register rewards, both for $1, both from Crayola… to pay for items that aren't a Crayola product? Let's say I'm buying Crest mouthwash and Papermate highlighters… neither are a Crayola product, but can I still use both of those rewards together to pay even though they're both Crayola rewards?

      • Nikki

If you were buying more crayola & used your RR towards that you wouldn't get anymore RR back again… So definitely use them on something else.Your RR are good for your next purchase, if its something else that okay….. but dont forget you will need fillers if you have coupons for the other items.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

If you are asking it is ok to use two similar rewards for the same deal in same transaction to pay the balance; the answer is yes

      • C-Lyn

you ca only use one RR per item. Ie .. if i have 3 items I ca only use 3 RR not 4. There are so many rules it's almost not worth it some times.

    • Nicole

I HATE Walgreens!! I will NEVER shop there again, even if they are giving stuff away. There is absolutely NO reason to be so persnickety about coupons and merchandise to make our lives more difficult than they already are, trying to coupon in general. They make me feel like I'm trying to steal. I've also contacted their home office. I highly recommend CVS. Any of them that I have ever been to are absolutely wonderful, the employees and the merchandise.

      • Amy

I felt the same way for about a year! Never went back to walgreen's after a bad experience. Now that I understand a little more about how it works, I'm trying it again, but you're right. Some of the cashiers act like they're suspicious of us! It just burns me up… the difference between CVS and Walgreens customers service is like night and day where I live! Not saying that's how it is at all stores, but definitely where I live. That said, I'm still going try to get my deals tomorrow. lol

        • ireneY

My store is a little better — just apathetic. No help with stock and clueless about coupon usage.

      • Amy

        oh, and what happened? :(

      • Ontopofthings2003

I am sorry that happened, I guess I have it good where I am at because everyone is real friendly, but don't let someone else make you stop saving money.  They are just mad they did not try it and before it is all over with you will probably see them in a line couponing somewhere.

        • angela

I think it depends on the particular store.  I work and live close to 5 Walgreens, 3 are “average”, one WAS a pain (but I complained, and tthey seemed to get better–online, NOT at the store), and one is wonderful.  The night manager there bends over backwards and if he has to fix something that rings up wrong he is FAST and fixes it ASAP.  So it may just be worth trying different stores if possible.
I have 4 CVSs close, and ONE is a pain.  The manager there gets annoyed.  The other 3 are very easy to deal with.
Same with Target, 3 I could go to and it depends mostly on the cashier.  I've had some who have to look at every darn item (although the register is taking the coupon just fine) and ones who don't even care and just force thru any coupon that doesn't work right away).  I look for the young guys, they are pretty easygoing.  There is one middle aged woman at one of my Targets that I will NOT get in line with as she takes so long looking at each item, comparing size, etc., and if it doesn't look like the picture on the coupon, she has to be explained to EACH time that it is ok.

      • Blumingrose32

i have  to agree sometimes they can be butts depending on whose working in our stores…

    • Pammyfran

For those wondering about the Cottonelle deal for Sunday July 31 only…my Wags is open 24 hours, and I just did the deal a little after midnight.  The $3.50 RR printed just fine.  The only thing different was that the $1 coupon from the Wags booklet only came off once – someone had posted that it would come off twice, once for each product.

Heads up on the Keri lotion – at my store it rang up $8.29 instead of $6.99, so I had to get a refund for the difference.

      • Julianne

Were they on sale for $5.00 for the 12 pack?

      • M Albritton

it should have come off twice…next time make sure and point it out!  Myregister lady told that I only need one instant walgreens coupon and it will come off each item automatically..so I double check every time

    • Mcleodsc

FYI-ONLY the folders that have prongs are 11cents.

NO Goody hair clips! NO Cottonelle. Only about 10 Keri lotions. Only about 8 Crayola markers. Only 3 of the Kids Fish oil chewies.  I am so glad I made a trip before church. If I had waited until after then there would not be anything left to buy.

Another FYI-the U by Kotex coupon in the August saving book is $2.00 with the
      purchase of 2.

      • Ontopofthings2003

Yeah you buy two but you can also go online at kotex.com or they were in the newspaper and get two one dollar off coupons for any kotex and it will make it 2/$3 which is still a pretty good deal for a sale.

      • Ontopofthings2003

After all my coupons and only sticking to stuff me and my family needs (3 households) I got: 3-Scope, 1-toothbrush, 2-kotex pantyliners, 3-Head and Shoulders Shampoo, 2-packs of M&M's and 3-packs of gum.  Out of pocket 20.00-RR 9.00= 11.00 for my purchase.  Did not do that bad today.

    • Just got back from Walgreens, Got the Cottonelle 12 pack for 1.50 each, so yes the $3.50 catalina is still printing this morning.  Also got free hair clips, crayola markers and 2 free Kid Smart Fish Oils.  And Pantene for $1.00 each.  I think I will go back in a while for some more freebies and another 2 Cottonelle TP.  YAY Walgreens

    • Gagirlfrompa

Our walgreens wont let me use the RR if i am using a coupon on an item.  Are all walgreens like that?  Or was the cashier wrong?

      • Kelli

Walgreens considers each RR a coupon, and they only allow you to use as many coupons as you have products.  So as long as your ratio is even, you can use as many as you want in one transaction.

        • Gagirlfrompa

So is this where fillers come in?   I.E..  if i have 3 products w/ coupons, i buy 3 fillers and then can use 3 RR?
(sorry, new, and trying to learn…)

          • VP22

Yup! As long as number of coupons including RR's equal number of items and not exceed the total price then you should be good.

          • Blumingrose32

no, GAgirl, if you have 3 coupons but only 2 items, they will not allow it, you have to have equal coupons for number of items, 3 items for 3 coupons,4 items=4 coupons ect. so it you are using 2 coupons on 1 items like a store and a manu, then you need what is called filler item, something really cheap to equal items for coupons.understand? hope i didnt confuse you more, basically item for coupon.

      • Jngoodall

        yes

    • Kymbrly1112

I live in Virginia and get the Virginian Pilot as my newspaper.  I did not get the P&G brandsaver!  Did anyone else experience this problem?  I'm wondering if someone swiped them from the papers before I got there….

      • Nguyenbchi

I was told that the coupon inserts are all regional so you will not always get the same coupons everyone else does.  Hope this helps because I have the same issue with Red Plum where I live.

    • Louie_32887

Are you supposed to use all the RR at once like that? Because I tried to use 2 RR at one time and the cashier at my Walgreens would not allow it.

      • Kelli

Walgreens considers each RR a coupon, and they only allow you to use as many coupons as you have products.  So as long as your ratio is even, you can use as many as you want in one transaction.

        • Melissa

Louie: all you need to do is buy a very cheap item in the store to keep the 1 coupon to 1 item ratio.  we have silly bands for 10cents each that i throw in my transaction. Ask  the cashier what the cheapest item in the store is.

    • Lesli

When items are B1G1 50% off at Walgreens can I use two MFC?  Like the Schick Disposable Razors Slim Twin, 12 pk., Xtreme 3, 4 or 8 pk., or Quattro 3 pk., B1G1 50% off.  I have two $3 off coupons.

    • Aj6cruz

      Paid 2.01 oop for 2
      head and shoulders
and got back 2$ in rr. So basically I paid a penny..
      Love it!!

      • Aj6cruz

    • RedHarleyCCGirl

No one in the store seems to know what the Infant Care booklet is… How can I get one?

      • Alison

Throughout the store there are curved holders attached to the aisles that look like a cup cut in half up and down that hold booklets about that section – the booklets have educational info & sometimes coupons. I have seen them in the allergy section, kids med section, formula section, etc. The infant books (if they had any) should be in the one on the formula/diaper aisle – my Walgreens didn't have any either :-(

Some crazy woman went into our Walgreens and bought all the Head and Shoulders…  cleared the shelves, except for a few hiding behind one of those hanging displays. I was able to buy my two bottles, but only after a second glance. I guess next week I'll hit Walgreens first.

      • ireneY

People like that give couponers a bad name. How much dandruff could there be in her family?!

    • SarahWr21

I did a quick scan through my Sunday paper and didn't see the Allegra rebate, Is there a specific section of the paper it should be in, if my paper is one of the one's carrying it?

      • Jillanita

Its in the Smart Source Section of this week.

        • Amy L.

What area did you receive this?

    • Don't know if anyone's reported this yet but the store q in the Wags Aug. coupon booklet for the U bu Kotex products is $2/2 not $2/1. That makes each box $1.50 not $0.50. Wish I had noticed this before checking out since they are often free or cheaper than I what paid today. My closest Wags is a small store and didn't have 12 ct. boxes of pop-tarts, only 8 ct. so I didn't get the Kellogg's deal. The Keri lotion didn't offer a RR either. I've had much better trips to Wags than I had today. Hope that next week is better! Was reluctant to attempt the Cottonelle deal, but good luck to those who do

      • M Albritton

Nita…I did the same thing with the U by Kotex deal. They are 2 for 7 dollars and the sotre coupon is 2 dollars off 2 which takes them down to 5 dollars.  Then you use use two manufactureer coupons for 1 dollar off and you get down to three dollars which makes them 1.50 a box and not 50 cents a box.   The blessing for me was that I used my 4.50 RR from he cottonelle deal to pay for them.

    • I also wished I had noticed.  I wouldn't have bought any more for a $1.50

    • SarahWr21

I usually keep my Walgreens transactions to 2 transactions, but since I was the only person there today I decided to break it into 3 to spend less money oop. The cashier told me that they were now implementing a 2 transaction limit per customer, but after I explained that the point of limiting transactions to keep customers from cleaning the shelves and I only had 1 of each of the deals, she let me go ahead and do 3.  I wish they would go to a card system like CVS and Walgreens!  If I don't go on Sunday morning, they are out of everything!

      • SarahWr21

I meant CVS and Rite Aid.  Lol.

    • Gmantych

I went to walgreens this morning. Not great! I got two head and shoulder products sale price 2/$8. I attempted to use a B1G1 which I though would take $4 off. Well the register rang up one at 5.99 and the other at 2.01. The cashier and manager said they were only taking 2.01 off for the free one. I just told them that was completely incorrect and to give me my coupon back and I will go to another store. Of course they told me that it was that way everywhere! Does this sound right to anyone?

      • Ckfourth

My daughter someone doing that with Nature Valley Bars at Publix yesterday. This is why CVS puts limits on some things.  I hate when others take advantage.

      • angela

I had a problem last week with Walgreens and the toothpaste that was on sale–the ad didn't specify which pro health and just the size, but the night manager wouldn't let me get the “clinical” strength (was pro health tho).  Anyway, according to their printed ad it fit the bill.  I got mad (they didn't have the “right” one) and went to their website and complained.   So far I've heard from the assistant manager (I complained at 11pm he called 8:30am the next day!), the manager (who was out of town that week) and was apologized to by the night manager, who was informed to give me 2 free tubes of whatever I wanted.
So complain on their website by email, as that seems to get their attention better than anything.  I would say that 2/$8 means $4 each to any normal person, and if enough people say the same thing it should get some attention from them.
I'm also complaining from now on EVERY time I find something out of stock.
BTW the assistant manager also said that when they were out of stock the night manager should have given me a raincheck WITH the register rewards since I asked for it.  I don't think that's their actual policy, but if you complain to corporate apparently they will bend.  I think that if theyy get a lot of complaints in one store they get on them.

        • Glenda

Thanks Angela.  I took your advice and sent a complaint through their website.  I will update once I hear something.  Hopefully if enough people compain something may change!

        • Theresalland

i will try it with you because this happens to me all the time. i get excited and get there and its always gone or a problem.

    • Mrs. M

So disappointed. I got up early this morning to go to Walgreens for the Keri lotion deal. The first Walgreens was out and the store told me that a lady came in and cleared the shelf just minutes before I walked in. I went to another Walgreens and they told me the exact same thing and that a lady just came in minutes before I did. From what the store cashiers told me, this was the same person. Shelf clearers like this make me mad. How ashy are you? How much lotion do you need?  (Sorry just venting) Now I have to wait until a truck comes in on Thursday:(

      • connie

My normal store doesn't even carry the Keri lotion. I'm hoping I can get to one of the ones farther away to get in on this deal.

There's no reason at all for buying that much lotion.

        • Nguyenbchi

I had the same thing happen but at CVS with the Skippy and Ragu sauce and a cart full of other things… This lady cleared MANY shelves, the worst part was I was stuck behind her while she was doing her 6 transactions.  Irritating!  Let me add that this was at 8am right when the store opened.

      • Shelly

The store I went in this morning only had a cardboard display of the lotion with only 6 bottles of both kinds of lotion, 12 total!!  There were only 4 total left by the time I got there which was 6:00 in the morning!  I had to ask the lady if they carried it because it wasn't on the shelf…it was in the cosmetics section in a special location.

        • I didnt even see the Keri lotion in my store.  I was thinking maybe my store just sucks.  There were out of almost everything!

      • Scoutsami

Why in the world would someone need to clear a shelve of lotion. How much can you use … gee!!

    • Evelynandchris

The additional $2 RR on the pampers didn't work for me. I used the $2 Infant Care Booklet and (2) $1.50 Q. I think the infant care Q threw off the balance necessary to get the $2 RR. I bought the Pampers that had a $1 off Cheerios Q in it, so I wasn't too upset about it.

    • Klynn

does anyone know if the store in statesboro is well stocked.  I live 30 min. away and don't want to drive that far to get nothing.

      • Tnjcent

Call the store in advance and ask before you go….sometimes I have to do this

    • Mandalynn536

I looked at the coupon policy for Walgreens and it only states that on a b1g1 deal, you may use two coupons. Does this mean that each item will ring up at half price(like some grocery stores) or do I need to purchase two items to get the discount?

      • Bamabobbie

You have to purchase two itmes.  First one rings at full price and one free.

    • Nguyenbchi

I saw one of the most unthinkable things today.  As I was pulling up to buy my newspapers from my local newspaper guy, a woman pulls up right next to his stand, jumps out of her car and stole a huge stack of his newspapers!!  I couldn't believe my eyes!! The poor man was inside a Subway trying to get a trash bag to cover his papers from the rain and this woman comes up and robs him basically!  I could only imagine that she did this for the coupons but, really?  Stealing from someone?  I buy 10 papers from his guys every Sunday and no matter the weather he is always out there.  He is trying to make a living and she stole from him.  This time I gave him $15 just because felt so bad for what happened.  People like this make the rest of us look terrible.  I went to CVS at 8:30am and there already was a woman clearing the shelves… In my 10+ years of couponing I have never seen it this bad.  People, please buy enough for yourself and think about others too.

      • Shelly

I would have gotten her license plate and called the cops…stealing from someone trying to earn a living, especially in this economy is just plain evil.

        • Raynesmw

Me too. I would have so reported her only after I gave her a piece of my mind. That makes me so mad!! Some people are going to ruin it for use couponers that keep it ethical.

          • Nguyenbchi

Agreed.  I think I was more upset then the newspaper guy.  Here is St. Petersburg, FL, many of the grocery stores like Publix are really changing their coupon policies (due to coupon fraud and shelf clearing).  I am afraid that Walgreens will soon follow because I see some really crazy people in there fighting with the clerks about issues where the customer is clearly wrong on.  I am just happy there are ethical couponers out there that get their coupons LEGALLY.

        • Nguyenbchi

I saw this as I was pulling up and I honestly thought that she was helping the guy because it was beginning to rain.  I thought that maybe she knew him and was helping him load up the papers but then when she rushed off as he was coming out the store I knew something wasn't right.  Wish I thought about it fast enough to get her license plate.  Karma will take care of it, I am sure!

          • Shelly

Amen to that!  I agree…people are really coupon crazy these days.  You'd think we are living in prohibition times!  Sometimes, it brings out the worst in people.  Very sad…

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is so sad. I feel very sorry for the poor guy who works in such harsh conditions and just for pennies to go on with his life. I also feel sorry for the woman that how desperate and low-mentality she is.  With that said, I do not think it has anything to do with image of couponers though. The woman was a cold blooded cheap human being and does in no way represent anyone of us.

    • Blumingrose32

whats up with Protor and Gamble, anyone notice how cheap they are becoming with their Q's .25 on this and.50 on that… .50 off tide,.25 off dawn, with coupons like that not really worth even clipping them .25 is not saving nothing, takes more gas to get there for .25 on $8 dollar items, folgers coffee is like that too .50 Q's rediculous

      • Shelly

I personally love .50 cent coupons cuz they double at Krogers, making them a dollar.  They triple up to .39 cents.

      • Momofjustsix

Totally agreed. Wouldn't hurt them a lot to be a little more generous on coupons, I wouldn't think! :)  Makes me serious consider Aldi and store brand.

      • Tnjcent

We need to write P&G, not that they will care cause they know they have popular and good  products….they really are cheap with their coupons, I agree!

    • Itisanewseason

So frustrated with Head & Shoulders deal. Had the bogo coupon and $1 off. They scanned at $5.99 for 1 and 2 for $8 – so the free one only discounts $2.01 off your total and they said I could not use my $1 off. Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Shelly

No, my cashier took $4.00 off, but she is super cool.  Most cashiers in my area are NOT that cool.  I go to her so I don't get hassled and she takes care of me.  I'm finding that forming relationships is key to making deals even sweeter cuz I usually get what I plan on getting, rather than a headache, as Walgreens can often be.  :-)

      • Theresalane25

Yes , I had the same problem so I asked the cashier to remove the Head and Shoulders from my purchase because that is not right. She took it off and I will run to Walmart and see what it will be there.

        • Jrstratton22

price match it 2/8 and use 1/.50 pg 7/31  and b1g1. if I'm right it will be $ 1.75 each!! not bad for head & shoulders!

      • Just did a search and saw that I was not the only person with that problem. Fill out those receipt surveys.

    • Raniah

Did anyone else do the pampers deal and only get one RR? How do I get the other?

      • Kristina

I did the pampers deal and also only got one RR. I am thinking the extra deal may not start until August (tomorrow) or the Infant Care Walgreens coupons messes up the total. Little disappointed too.

      • Rebecca

I only got the $3 RR too :(

      • Corysarah12

I also only got $3RR  no extras on this deal.

      • Jrstratton22

me too! I think you have to spend $10 after coupons and i used rr to pay for transaction! bummer

      • PaulaB

Got a $3RR and a $2 off your next Pampers purchase.

      • MomofKLA

I bought 3 packs in hopes of getting the $5 RR but only got the $3.  Very disappointing. ; (

    • connie

I can't believe I never did this couponing thing before. I just came back from WAGS where I spent $29.99 which was 9.00 over my budget but I still made some awsome deals.

      This is what I bought:

Crayola 8 ct washable markers x2
      Goody clips x2
      Pencil top erasers x2
      3pack glue sticks x2
      Cottenelle bath tissue x2
      Folders with prongs x3
      Lays stackers x3
      Ritz crackers x2
      Nabisco chocolate chip cookies x2
      Nutter butters x1
      Crackerjacks x2
      Bookbag x2
      Caladrin Joint health x1
      Beef Stick x1
      Black&Mild cigars x1

The cigars were not on my list but today is my husband's bday and he only gets them as a treat and the beef stick was a treat for my son that was with me. I saved a total of $68.93 so going $9+ over my budget wasn't that bad at all. Most of my school shopping is done and we have snacks for our upcoming road trip.

      • ireneY

Good job! Sounds like you know how to balance deals with fun stuff!

    • Belladonna197848

Can someone tell me what the infant care booklet is and how do I get one.

      • MomofKLA

I got one months ago and I had to go to 3 Walgreens before I found one.  They are store coupons that you can use over and over again and they don't expire until 12/31.

      • Alenawork2008

Just ask thankfully cashier for it!!! They carry it under register!!!

    • Megansims07

Can someone please explain why this transaction didn't work:
I purchased the Crest Mouthwash and recieved a $2RR. In a second transaction, I attempted to get this deal using my $2RR, $1 off coupon, and another filler item:$2 RR WYB Tampax Pearl Tampons, 36 or 40 pk., or Always Maxi Pads, 28-48 pk., or Dri-Liners, 108 pk., at $6.99My $2 RR didn't print. Since hadn't previously purchased the item and to meet the household limit, I asked why, and they told me that they don't give RR unless you pay the full sale price. I tried double checking the coupon policy, but I don't see anything that directly states that.

      • A

It's because both Crest and Tampax are PG items. If you use a RR from a company to pay for another one of their products, then the next RR won't print. It's times like this where you buy something like the Crayola washable markers, get that RR and then buy the Tampax. Hope this helps.

      • Alenawork2008

        1. that is not truth, you can use coupons and still get RRs.
        2. I think probably you've got wrong pack of woman stuff, sometimes you think they are all on sale but can be only 1 specific box.
        3. RR will not print if you buy Crest, get RR and buy again the same Crest with these RRs, but if you pay from Crest for Tampax it should work. Works always for me, unless I get wrong pack. I think people in your store just do not carry about customers. in case like that I just ask my money back and they give it with no problems.

      • C_Aardema

Also sometimes if you use a register reward for the same amount you are getting back it will not give to you because the computer thinks it's the same one even if one RR is from p&g and u are getting one back from another company. I have not figured out why sometimes it does it and sometimes your fine. It has something to do with the order the coupons are scanned

    • Nikki0086

I just got back from Walgreens and got a pretty good deal on Axe shower gel. I used 2 of the BOGO coupons in the paper today and they were BOGO 50% off. In the end my total was $5.48 ( $7.00 even if you include TN sales tax of 9.25%) and got a $2.00 Manufacturer coupon on any one Axe product and a $0.50 Manufacturer coupon on any one Sobe Life water which that will double and get me a free Sobe water my next trip to Kroger's :)

    • TnSara

I got to wags as soon as they opened this am and they were well stocked on the TP.  (West TN).  The wags coupon only took off $1 on 2 TPs – mgr said this was a new policy they were cracking down on….  hmmmmm……  My RR printed off so I still only paid $2 per package – still a great deal!  I also purchased 3 bags of pampers on sale $10 bag used 3 $2 off coupons – received $3RR + $5 coupon off  a future pampes purchase.  For fillers I used the crayola washable markers ($2 on sale a got $2 RR back) and found some travel size baby lotion on clearance for $0.35.  I have a 6 week old and 2 1/2 yo so overall a great day!!!!  I may go back tonight to get more TP if they still have some!!!

      T1:  2 Cottonelle TP – $10
            1 Crayola Washable Markers – $2
       – $1 Wags Q
       – 2 ($0.75 cottonelle Q)
Total OOP – $9.50  received $3.5 RR and $2 RR

      T2:  3 Pampers Cruisers @$10ea = $30
            2 baby lotion @$0.35 ea = $0.70
           – 3 ($2 Pampers Q)
           – $3.50 RR
           – $2.00 RR
Total OOP – $19.20 + $3 RR and ($5 off one pampers in future! Sweet!)

Did both of these transactions again – used $3 RR on second round of cottonelle….

      4 bags of Cottonelle TP
      2 Crayola washable markers
      5 baby lotion (travel size)
      6 bags of Pampers diapers

      Total OOP  = $54.75 w $3RR and 2 $5 pampers Q's left over…. not too shabby! – it was a little over $63 w sales tax…..

    • Bamabobbie

Does anyone have an extra Allegra rebate form?  Did not get one in my Sunday paper. Thanks

      • Amy L.

I never saw it.  Was it in the coupon inserts or the regular paper??

        • Bamabobbie

I read somewhere it was in the SS insert but Jenny said in most Sunday's papers.

        • Drew'sMom

mine was in the ss insert!!

          • Bamabobbie

Are you in the Birmingham area?

      • Dena

I have two that I'm not going to use. Do you have any coupons that you would like to trade? If so, my email is denaburgess@yahoo.com

        • Lisa

Hi, If you have another Allegra rebate form I would be interested too.  What other coupons are you looking for?  Thanks  lwilliams_57@yahoo.com

    • The Cottonelle worked fine, but I'm upset at how their registers calculated the cost of the Head & Shoulders and my BOGO coupon. It was 2 for $8. Instead of ringing up $4.00 each, it rang up as $5.99 and $2.01. So, my BOGO took $2.01 off instead of $4.00. UGH!!! I was going to use the $3.50 catalina with it which would have put me at $0.50 OOP on transaction $2 but I ended up paying $3.01 OOP.

      • AngelScoupons1

My girlfriend had the same thing happen with her Pantene which was 2/$7 or $3.50 each. Don't you think that sort of thing could be disputed? I would think a cashier could do a price override to mKe each item half the two- fer price.

        • Yes, it could be disputed. I just didn't want to put up a fight today. However, I did mention it in my survey that is on the bottom of the receipt.

          • Bamasaver

I had the same thing happen to me last week with a 2/$X product & I was upset about it.  I questioned the cashier immediately & she said they ring up different prices & they're required to take off the lesser amount for the “free” coupon.  I don't recall this being the case until recently & think it's a rip-off on Wags' part.  I did TWO surveys that day & mentioned it on both.

            • Diane S.

After reading the last few comments about the BOGO and it ringing up wrong, I looked at the WG flyer.  They actually have the Pantene deal listed at $5.99 or 2/$8.  That , I think, should have rung up correctly. When you say 2/$8 then they should be $4 each.  But the Dove, ponds, lever deal is actually listed differently in their flyer , at Buy 1 Get 1 50% off.  (If the price was the same), I could see how if would ring up as $5.99 for the 1st one and $2.01 for the second one.  That's actual a BOGO 50% off.  The end result though is that you are NOT getting the Panene 2/$8….you are actually getting it at 2/$6 when you use a bogo coupon…. or 50% off, not 100% off.

        • Chrisss

I had the same thing happen with the Head & Shoulders deal.  I told the cashier it rang up wrong and she called over a manager.  The manager told her to change it and I was happy again.

      • gina

next time ask the cashier I have had this happen and they can do an override and the free one will the right price.  I live in Lancaster, SC our managers ar e always very helpful  good luck

    • bad marriage…

Got to my Walgreens @ 2pm… the Keri lotion and Keebler cookie bars were already cleaned out…. arrgh!

      • New to Coupons

My walgreens does do rain checks, so you could go back and ask them for one.  I got one for the cottonelle.  We shall see if it works.  HTH.

        • Erin

The Cottonelle wasn't even on sale $5 is the regular price, what did they give you a rain check for? Also, the catalina ended today so you won't get the $3.50 back. It is not a RR so they can't give you a rain check for that.

      • Bamabobbie

I believe the Keri lotion is a monthly deal so maybe they will have some in before it expires.  They do give rain checks on sales price but I've never gotten the RR after the the promotion has ended.

      • Drew'sMom

When I was at my walgreens this morning I got my Keri lotion that was located where the rest of the lotion was located in the store but as I was going by a display shelf in the cosmetics department they had a display of Keri lotions there too!! Just thought I would share in case other stores happen to have this!!

    • Angelascoupons1

Did great at wags today. They were fully stocked and really helpful (I am blessed to have a great store). I started and ended with the same RRs, so my out of pocket net was $14. My calculated savings was 81%!!! I bought:

      2 12 packs of cottonelle
      2 crest mouthwashes
      2 Pantene shampoos
      4 Kotex tampons
      Crayola markers
      2 composition books
      2 folders

I did use both my free Pantene coupon and e $3/2 coupon that expired today. Did not go of without a hitch, as both beeped. However, my cashier who knows me just did an override and waived it thru. My friend tried the same deal at another wags and did not get it to work.

      • Lindsey

The reason it didn't work for your friend is because you had 2 items and used coupons coded for 3 products. You're lucky that they pushed it through for you. The wording I believe wasn't 'buy x, get y free'. It was 'get $3 off the purchase of both'.

    • Brooke

Well today was the first time I have EVER shopped at walgreens.. I am usually CVS loyal but this week the CVS was lacking and walgreens had the great deal on TP which I desperately needed. It was a long, frustrating trip both with mistakes on my part and the cashiers. First I did a transaction with the pantene, crayola markers, goody hair clips, and scope mouthwash. That transaction went okay and cost me 13.00 OOP (which is fine, because I didnt have any saved RR). Then I put my stuff on the counter for the 2nd transaction (i was only doing 2), which included 2 of the cottonelle TP, 2 head and shoulders, 2 Hot pocket snackerz and pepper. The guy made me go to another register because he said he was not allowed to do 2 transactions with the same person because the RR were for my next visit not this visit (is this really the policy? if so this is a headache and I probably won't be back…) That is what annoyed me as far as the cashier went.

My fault was that I had 6 MF for 7 items and (4) RR from the previous transactions..Since I am used to CVS ecb's where the ecb's do not count as manufacturer's coupons, I was told I had used over my limit of coupons.. I guess I now understand what filler items are. I ended up paying 9 out of pocket with 6 RR left (which I had hoped to use on that transaction but couldn't). I got another 2 after paying and went back and bought 4 bottles of laundry detergent (on sale for 1.99, only paid tax for all 4) though to get rid of the RR since i'm not sure I have the time or patience to deal with Wags again. I think i'll stick to CVS.

      • Angelascoupons1

Brooke, what you were told by the cashier is not wags policy…like many of the nutty things we hear about happening at wags and cvs, these are individual store and/or cashier decisions. If you have other options for wags, you may want to try them out to see if you get better cashiers or more coupon-friendly policies.

Don't give up….wags often times has even better deals than cvs. You just have to understand the system and plan everything out before you go. That's how I always know when I walk in just how many fillers I will need…and I typically know from the ad whT I will use as a filler. Luckily, you can usually find something for around $.10 that won't bump up your OOP much.

Find a good wags….it will make all the difference.

      • Gina

my walgreens doesn't do this they will let you check out as many times as you like; however if there are very busy and you have several transactions they may ask you to check out at the makeup counter.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Sorry it happened to you. I understand the frustration. I am amazed that the cashier was actually following a “supposed policy” when it was good for him. When we teach them policy, they refuse to work with us. WAGs just lost you as a customer or regular customer. That is why I have strong customer service mentality and am hoping that WAGs is reading this and well-train their employees on how to behave for what they are paid for

      • Lovnnpink14

ok so that is not a walgreens policy. I work there and have done up to 10 transactions before it does not matter what so ever. i mean if you are trying to use a register reward that you got from an item and you are trying to use that register reward on the same item it will not print you out another one. cuz that is you seriously using the system to your advantage and they dont allow it. but besides that you can do as many transactions as you want. who ever rung you out was seiously mistaken. cometo the walgreens in salem. and we will help you out. have of our staff coupons them selves so we completely understand and love that you are there saving money. atleast i am:)

        • Mandi3068

I also work at walgreens in Florida. In our store we ASK that if you have more than one transaction to please visit either cosmetics or photo because most of our customers are in a hurry and don't want to wait. Myself and managers also coupon and try to help our customers save as much as possible. I am our resident coupon authoriaty in our store and know it can be frustrating but the register rewards program is regulated by catalina not walgrees so give the employees a break if it doesn't print. We aren't spending our day trying to rip you off.

      • Brooke

Thanks for everyone’s responses. I may try wags again. I had some RR leftover so I went to a different store and they were much more friendly and helpful. That store  just didn’t seem to have it together.. I am glad I found out about their coupon policy though, that was my mistake that I didn’t know you had to have as many items as coupons.. atleast now I understand how to shop there. & I wasn’t trying to buy the same item with RR.. I had two completely different separate transactions, just wanted to do them separate to pay less OOP. I may give WAGS  a second chance if they have a great sale again, I am just normally a CVS shopper anyways. I LOVE my CVS and the people that work there, but i’m sure there is difficult CVS’s out there too!

    • PaulaB

Beware of some of the prices listed here.  It was late, my child was cranky, and I didn't look at the signs.  Some of the deals were really 2/$3, not $1.50 as listed.
And the Kotex store Q is $2 off 2, making it $1.50 each.
So many people were confused at the store and the manager was terrible, confirming that even on a great sale week, I should avoid Walgreens!

      • Angelascoupons1

Terrible managers and confused store employees are not unique to wags – you can get them at cvs too. I really think, as I said to Brooke below, that you just have to find good stores. Period. Then you can make any system work…whether it is rite aid, wags or cvs. I hate to hear people always trashing wags when the experiences people share are often more about the individual store and employees than the company on the whole.

        • Tkb070704

Thanks for this Angela-My husband is a MGR at Wags and He does his best to be fair and make everyone happy. There are good managers at Walgreens whose wives coupon and they try really hard to keep people happy, but its tough when websites like this (NOT JENNY, herself!) have people telling others to be rude and force the issues and policies at the register.

          • Gatorginger

I have a wonderful wags and enjoy going there since they are friendly and helpful

    • PaulaB

Also, be on the look out for any clearance Pampers.  Mine were totally out of stock, but it would've been a great deal…

    • Iteachmusic

The Crayola Marker $2RR did not print for me…Anyone else have this issue?

      • 1bigsaver

Mine printed fine today.  Sometimes their printer is either broken or not turned on.  Next time, just return the merchandise and get rung up at a different register.

        • Iteachmusic

It was really weird…That was my first transaction…All the rest of my RR printed just fine…For some reason, I always get nervous when I am checking out because I just know something is gonna go wrong! haha

      • Lovnnpink14

        nope

    • Cbensonedu

So mad, bought my papers from walgreens today in taylors, sc and I was missing my p&g and a red Plum. I also was missin a SS. However my sister went to the walmart not even 2mins down the road and got all of the inserts. Also I think it's kind of funny that wAlgreens RR's are technically Manu coupons so u can't use them if u dont buy enough items to match up to the number of Manu coupons.

      • Khitti@gmail.com

you can use all of your RRs to cover the cost of your items so long as the total before taxes is equal to or less than the RRs value….now if you have 2 manu coupons, a walgreens booklet coupon AND 2 RRs to use and only purchasing 2 items they will say you can only use only 2 coupons out of the 5…but….always shop and put a handful of real cheap filler items such as 9 cents highlighters…or 11cents folders …etc…and add them to the transaction so that the items will bring your items purchases to the number of coupns you would like to use…hope that helps…

      • Mandi3068

I bought all of my papers at walgreens and got all 4 of the inserts.

    • Mary_P

I found Keri in my store, but no RR listed??? They said they had put them all up? If it is for the month, maybe not? I looked in the Walgreens flyer and I did not see it? Any luck?

      • Iteachmusic

I got mine yesterday…With your card, it rings at 6.99…Then I used my $2Q and it printed a $5RR…My Walgreens has a lot of things that dont have the deal tagged at the product…It is a little confusing!

        • Mary_P

We don't have a Walgreens card? Are you in one of the test Walgreens?

      • Lovnnpink14

I work at walgreens and it is in the sale paper for next week.

        • Cwalton74

since you work there maybe you can answer my question. Where do you get the infant care booklet? is it something that is in the store?

          • mamabelbel

I picked mine up on the cosmetics counter a few months ago.

        • Priscilladef

that answers my question as to why me and the lovely walgreen employee couldn't not find the wretched keri lotion lol.

      • Melissa

I'm in Birmingham, AL.  In my store, the Keri was not marked on the shelf, but it did ring up as $6.99 and a $5RR printed out.  I also used a $2Q.

    • Susan

Has anyone found the $6.99 rebate form “in most Sunday papers” for Allegra? I get the Atlanta paper and can not find it!

      • Bamasaver

I got the AJC (while passing through the Atlanta area yesterday a.m.)–rebate form is in mine….???

        • Snellmom

Where in the AJC did you find it?

          • Bamasaver

It's on about the 12th page of the SS insert…on the back of the page with the Splenda coupons.

      • Katie

The Raleigh News and observer got it. I can send you one if you would like. Email me at jkk1110@yahoo.com please put a subject so I know it's a legit email.

    • Ycboyer

where do you get the vitamins and supplements booklet?

      • Gemmi012

        Near the pharmacy.

    • Dennie

$2 additional RR for the Pampers deal didn't work for me either :+(

    • Janell

How did everyone do with the Kellogg's deal?? NOTHING at my store was marked as participating so when I got to the register with my Special K fruit crisps and they rang up wrong, I was told it ONLY included what was pictured in the ad. Did anyone else find this to be the case? Does anyone know what IS actually included in the sale?

      • Gemmi012

Special K, Smart Start and Raisin Bran Crunch cereals. And Cheez Its, Club crackers and rice krispie treats is what is pictured in the ad.

      • Kpatcamp

I found Kelloggs Raisin bran crunch, mini wheats, nutragrain bars, and special K bars.  And some of the nutragrain bars are supposed to have rebates with $5 gas cards (if you buy 4).

      • Priscilladef

yeah the fruit crisps at my store were not marked for the deal.

      • Mmleininger

I had a lot of trouble with the deal. None of the items (and they were all pictured in the ad) rang up for the correct price. Most were over by $1.49. After the cashier adjusted the prices the RR didn't print. She called the manager and he was wonderful and fixed everything to give me the correct prices and the RR.

    • 1princess1prince2love

Where can I get the Infant Care booklet?  I don't go to WG very much as I'm a fan of CVS, but tried to get a few of the deals yesterday. I just don't like the way they're rr's work compared to ecb's.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        try ebay

      • Mcleodsc

        try trading for it

      • Staceyb

I was lucky to find a nice manager to give me the last one in the store I was at she told me they stopped making them at the beginning of this year 2011

    • Cheryl

I am wondering the same thing.  I have looked in the store.  Do you have to ask for it or sign up somewhere to get it?

    • Minathan

There is never an excuse for someone to get “everything” a store sells even if it is a good deal.  However, these drug stores now more than a month ahead of time the salespaper.  They get them.  It is the person who orders in your store who has the responsibility for stocking for sales.  That is why some stores are well stocked and others aren't.  Some figure they will lure you in with the promise and others want you to be happy and keep coming back.  As your clerks/asst. manager who does all the store orders and that is where you need to complain.

      • wags employee

we have no where to store items, we get enough (we hope to cover all) but you can never tell, what some people are after and clear everything out that morning!

    • Lgacgoodman

I ran into Wags today for the crayola marker deal and on the catalina machine there was a typed statement that RR will not print if a man.q is used.  Has anyone else heard this?  This is not on the coupon policy website.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think they might be posting it for safe side because they do not wanna deal with people complaining about not printing RRs (due to some glitch etc); but they just made a blanket statement to ward off any complaint.

    • iluvcoupons

where do you get the walgreens coupon calendar mentioned on here sometimes?

      • Lgacgoodman

Mine are usually at the front by the sales ads

    • Lmautech

I have a B1G1 coupon for an item that Walgreens is advertising as B1G1 50%.  Does this mean I will make a profit or both items will be free?  If neither then can should I still use the coupon???

      • Jas

from my experience you will just pay half the cost of the item for both…for instance the razors are b1g1 50% off at $7.99. so if you were to buy two it would be 7.99 +3.50. with the coupon you get 7.99 off and only end up paying 3.50 for both.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Actually, lower price is taken off. Rarely, you may find friendly employees who might push the hgher price. However, as a general rule, it is always the lower price for bogo Q value

          • wags employee

IT is not a friendly employee who does this, this is a employee not trained proper.  always less item free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            • couponzzz

please contact corporate, because you are actually incorrect.  The higher price is actually supposed to be taken off.  Walgreens would be getting reimbursed selling value of coupon (full price).  However at the half off price, reimbursement would only be at half their selling value.  Most Managers, are uniformed of this corporate coupon policy.

    • Rin

I have a Love/Hate relationship with my local Walgreens… I love the savings but I absolutely HATE that every time I enter that store and go to get a deal… the shelves are cleared!  When I ask for a rain check on the items… I am told over and over again by management and cashiers that they will have another truck in before the sale ends.  I end up not getting a rain check because they won't give them!  They just repeat that I need to come back because they will be getting another truck… and when you do go back …. they either didn't receive that particular item on the truck or have already sold the one or two of the item they have gotten in.  You would think that the management at the store would plan to have enough of the items on sale available… It has frustrated me so much… I have started traveling to a WAGS store 45 minutes away from my home versus the one that is less than 5 minutes from home.

      • Coleycamp

I have the same problem with my local store.  I travel about 25 mins away to get the deals.  I am very frustrated with wags and I'm really considering walking away from them and doing all my shopping at cvs.

    • Linda

FYI the coupon in the Walgreens book for U by Kotex Tampons is $2.00 off 2. So the tampons, pads, liners are $1.50 not .50. Unless its different everywhere.

      • Ag Black

My Walgreens had them priced at 2 for $5 so they still ended up being .50 each.

        • Pmortonfamily

WHICH WAGS IS IT FOR THIS PRICE

    • Summer

I have never shopped the RR before. There are 7 different deals I want to use, totaling up to $21 RR….can I purchase them all at once? Will they all print out?
Or do I need to break them up? I have no idea how to do it! Please Help!!

      • Summer

I also just realized, I probably could split them up into separate transactions to spend less money. IDK…can some one possibly help me if I email you what I would like to get?

        • Lonestar9

There's a walgreens getting started guide on this page. I would read thru that, it explains everything pretty well.

    • Daveport

What is the infant care booklet you mention in the diaper deal, and how do you get it?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        Try ebay

    • Lesli

Be careful with the U by Kotex Tampons, 18 pk., Liners, 50 or 60 pk., or Pads, 14-18 pk., $3.50 -$2 off Kotex U tampons 18 pk, liners 50-60 pk or pads 14-18 pk August Walgreens coupon booklet
At my store the Walgreens coupon is for -$2 off of 2, they are 2 for $7 which takes it down to 2/$5 and with the mfc=$4 (not .50)
Just wanted to point that out.  I bought them and my bill was way higher than I had anticipated.

    • Givemejesus33

I just received my xtra care card in the mail. I see several great deals ing the rewards/bucks. My question is how do I aquire them to begin using them?

      • Jas

your extra care card is for cvs not walgreens…walgreens doens't have a card…. but if you read getting started guides jenny has posted at the top right hand corner of the page for both stores it will help you out.

    • Ladygabz

I have a question, I am new at couponing so I am still getting the hang of things but I was wondering about a deal on the Axe Body or Hair Care B1G1 50%. If I bought one Axe body gel for $ 5.49 and the other 50% for like $2.75 and then I used the -B1G1 Axe shower gel or detailer, max $5.99, RP 7/31. Would that make my total to $2.75 for both or $ 5.49, wasn't so sure about that. Thx :)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

$5.49 for both. Bogo Q takes off the smaller amount of the two

        • WAGS EMPLOYEE

you said it right SMALLER OF the two.  wished everyone else would get this on bogo coupons

    • Rebecca

Just bought 3 packs of Pampers at Walgreens expecting to get back $3 RR plus an extra $5 RR for spending more than $25.  Even deducting my 3 manu Q's I used, I was still over the $25 mark.  Only the $3 printed.  When I asked the clerk why, she said it was because I used manu Q's.  Well then, why did the $3 RR print if that is the case?  I'm annoyed at Walgreens with all their exceptions & tricky pricing on things.  I think I'm about to break up with them & just stick with CVS.  At least CVS doesn't require an advanced mathematics degree from MIT to figure out what coupons you can use.

      • tclip

Same for me.  I didn't get the second RR.  The cashiers were so nice and wanted to figure it out.  They called the manager over.  He was of no help and even told me that he has never heard of a month long RR.

        • Rebecca

funny thing is, a catalina printed out alerting me to the deal!  it looked like a coupon, but when i got to my car & looked at it, it was just an advertisement for the deal!  aaarrrgh.  i'm going to contact the catalina people & see what is up.  (because $30 in diapers to get a $3 RR is not a bargain!!!)

      • Lgacgoodman

Sign at my walgreens yesterday that said RR will not print to items that you use a manu q with.  I was confused didnt ask at that time but would love to know what is going on.

      • Jennamariescoupons

When I did this deal, I got the two packs of diapers and was expecting to get a $3 RR and an extra $2 RR for the purchase…..turns out I only got a $3 RR and a $2 MF coupon to use towards my next purchase of Pampers :-( Not the best deal.

      • wags employee

wags has no control over catalina machine.  Don't get mad at them they can't make things print out that you want too!!!!!!

    • So, I got a call from the store manager about the Head & Shoulders. He said that it was a computer problem that they don't have much control over. However, they can override the scanned price if caught. He said that I could get a $1.99 refund if I came in. I told him that's okay and I will just look out for it in the future. So, I'll be watching those scans when I have a BOGO coupon in the future! :-)

      • ireneY

It's not necessarily a computer glitch. My coupon prompted the cashier and she entered the full amount. It's a great deal, but it threw my transaction off and ended up paying $6 more OOP to cover it! Not really complaining, or anything. =]

        • Wisdomqpon

she was wrong in doing this and you know it!

    • Ladygabz

Is The tide detergent a good deal or should I wait? I pay $20.00 at costco for 81 loads but if I get the tide a walgreens this week I would get around 90 something loads for $15.00, so it sound good to me, but just want to know if I can get it even cheaper if I wait or I should go buy it right now.

      • Ladygabz

I forgot to mention I would buy 3 tide detergents equal to 90 something loads for $15.00, with it on sale for $5.00 each.

        • C_hakes

I purchased 4 boxes of Tide at Kroger.  They are the 40 load size.  I paid $13 for all 4.  Krogers has $2 off when you purchase 2 boxes and I had a $2 cpn for each box.

          • Ladygabz

            ok thanks !

      • Mckinnonwendy

The best savings is to make it yourself-tons of videos on youtube. just 3 ingredients. $10 lasts me a year! Its just ivory bar soap, laundry soda, and borax. And I feel goo know I always have laundry soap! Now if I could just make toilet paper…/LOL!

    • Amy

I'm sorry if you guys already discussed this but I'm really frustrated with my chattanooga, TN Walgreens on cherokee. First problem I encountered was with the huggies wipes last week. Because I used the July Booklet coupon for $1 off and then a manuf. cpn 50 cents together they rejected it and said I had to choose which of the two to use. So, no 99 cent wipes for me. This sunday on Head & Shoulders B1G1 cpn register rang up as $5.99 & $2.01. The manager was only going to give me the 2 shampoos for $5.99 I had to pay. Hello? I expected 2/$8, knock off $4 with my B1G1, I pay $4, get $3RR use one 50cent manuf cpn, cost 50 cent ultimately. If mgmt. is wrong where can I get this resolved? I want the savings to my family. If I am wrong I am teachable enough to learn. pls help?! thanks so much!

      • Gmantych

In regards to the Head & Shoulders I emailed Walgreens and complained because the same thing happened to me on Sunday. Monday morning the store manager called me and apologized. He said he would be talking to his staff about this issue so it won't happen again. He said yes it should be $4.00 off. I will see the next time if he fixed it. I would suggest you emailing the corporate office. I think you will get resolution.

      • Mcleodsc

I do not know what state you are in but here in SC there are several items ringing up quirky at WAGS. If you were to only purchase one-you will be paying too much. They need to put in their ad that the first one is XXX and the second one is XXX NOT 2/XXX.

        • Mcleodsc

Sorry I just reread your comment and see that you are in TN. I am wondering if all WAGS registers everywhere have been programmed to ring up weird.

          • wags employee

the first one rang up 4.99 and second rang up $2.01, we look at receipt and give you lesser item free.  Don't make rules just have to follow them!  If we are so bad go to walmart and see what you can get for free or have a register rewards when finished!  grow up and get over it everything in this world is not free

            • Diane S.

McLeodsc is just trying to make the point that when an item is advertised as 2/$8, it should ring up as $4 each, unless it is actually listed as '$4.99 ea. or 2/$8'.  As a wags employee what does wag get paid from the mfg?  Do they get paid for the the item at 4.99 or do they get paid 2.01?

            • Diane S.

Read other comments and now see that this was a computer issue and mgrs stating that it SHOULD be ringing up as $4….so this is a moot point.

            • Bamasaver

Wow…that sounds a little too harsh.  The point is that if Wags advertises items as 2/$8 then they should each ring up @ $4.

          • Bamasaver

            It's happening in AL, too.

      • Staceybradley16

I also live in chattanooga,tn and shop at 153 24 hr walgreen store they are great you can use both manuf and walgreens but they have to scan the manuf then scan the walgreen coupon so the register will accept it I do it all the time hope this helps

    • Jas

has anyone tried using the wags coupon for revlon $2 off that was in the paper a few weeks ago with more than one revlon item? I”m wondering if the one coupon would work like the ones in the book that takes the $ amount off of how many items of that kind you have in your transaction

    • Emilyamoran

My store had $3.00 off coupons attached to the excedrin boxes!  Way better than the $1.50 off coupons that I clipped.  Yippee!

    • amanda

So, my Walgreens is in Richmond, VA where they are trying out a new thing, Walgreens Rewards–like i have a key tag.  What is this all about any wy do my sales not match up with anything else?!?

    • Cindy

My walgreens will accept the coupon codes from the infant care booklet, Does anyone have the coupon code for the Pampers?  I would really appreciate it!  I have not been able to find one in my store!  Thanks!

      • Mcleodsc

        0 00000 05521

        • Cindy

          Thank you so much!!!!

    • Nancy

The coupons in the infant care booklet say that they are manufacturer's coupons not to be used with any other offer. Wouldn't that mean you can't stack them with another manufacturer's coupon?

      • Cindy

I'm not sure what they say, I have not ever seen the book, but my Walgreens in the past have allowed me to use the code for diapers 3 different times with just the code and I had manufacturer's coupons that I used as well.  It was on two different store visits and they didn't have a problem with it at all.

    • Ashley

Where do you find the Allegra (5 ct) rebate in Sundays paper?

      • Bamasaver

In my AJC SS insert, it was on about the 12th page…on the back of the page that has the Splenda coupons.

    • Cchilson

I read above in the listing that when 2 packages of Pampers Diapers are purchased that one would receive a $3 RR and also a $2 RR.  I only got the $3 RR so it wasn't as good of a deal.  Does anyone know why?
      cchilson

      • Rebecca

i also only got the $3 RR & actually spent $26 on diapers AFTER coupons.  i called the catalina corp & they took my info & said they would get back to me.  the person in the store that originally couldn't figure it out was the person who called me back.  she said they figured out that if you use manu Q to purchase the items, the $2 or $5 coupon wouldn't print.  the extra $2 or $5 weren't actually RR, they are coupons to use on your next purchase of pampers.  they gave me a $5 coupon since the deal didn't mention anything about not being able to use manu Q to purchase the diapers.  perhaps it's worth a call to catalina?  i just googled them to get a number!

        • Fish_n_chips23

That is not accurate (at least in NC) because I used coupons to do this deal and got my $2 coupon.

    • Amanda

OK. I don't usually shop Wags, so I need some help.

If I buy 1 Complete Contact solution for $7 (after $1/1 Q) and get $8 RR back, then use the $8 RR to purchase Crest Mouthwash for $2 (after $2/1 Q) plus a Gillete Proglide for $6 (after $4/1 Q)..and maybe something for less than $1 so it doesn't go into the negative….I would practically get the mouthwash and razor free, right?

So then after THAT purchase, I would get $5 RR, which I could use toward another Complete solution (with the same Q) and pay only $2, plus get another $8 RR?

So could I complete the cycle again and buy another Mouthwash and Fusion for basically nothing?

Wow, that's confusing! I hope it makes sense to you veterans! LOL

Yes, that's the idea. Just make sue you have enough cheap fillers so the number of Qs match the number of items. RRs are considered Qs. It does take a lot of time and work!

Not trying to be a hater but Walgreens rewards system is terrible. Everytime I think I'm going to give em a chance, they disappoint. Can't use this coupon for that, got to have a filler item for this. Maybe it's because I don't know how to work their system. Going back to CVS where I'm appreciated.

I LOVE my wags.  I have 3 in my area but I shop at one particular one because I just LOVE the sales associates and the managers there.  They seem to know the coupon policy and if I have any problems, the managers are there to straighten it out.  When they had the pocket folders for .11, I asked the manager if I could possibly get 20 of them at one time because I needed them for a meeting, they had to be the same color and she went out of her way to make sure I got 20 of the same color!!  I have gotten to know the people there and now they know me by name.

So I have a question. I want to use the -$3/$5 Sally Hansen Beauty tool, August All You magazine before this week's sale is over to get B1G1 50% off. Can I use one coupon for multiple items? Like get 2 items to make the total over $5 in order to get the $3 off. Or one of the items that I am using the coupon for must be $5 or more? Please help me out :)

Totally hit pop-tart jackpot today at Wags!! So Sunday i was a little irritated that my wags didn't have the 12 ct pop tart boxes to do the 4 for $10 deal with $5 in RR advertised on front page of ad. So I'm back in there today and find that all the 12 ct pop tarts were back on clearance shelf being discontinued. (don't expire til Jan 2012). they are 1.89. So even though it didn't make the $10, I hoped RR would still print out due to buying four boxes. IT DID!!! $7.56- $5.00 in RR made it $2.56. So I got four more boxes! 96 pop tarts for $5.12!!! Heck yea, Walgreens rocks!!!

At some of the walgreens in wilmington nc certain sizes of pampers easy-ups are on sale for $3.19 plus you still get the $3 RR when you buy two so it makes it like $6.38 + tax for 2 packages!  they may be out by now.. but there were a few packs left at CB this morning. also at three different stores i went to (17th ext., beau, cb) they have walgreen's brand training pants on clearance for i think $2.29.

      • Sarah

        i mean $3.38 + tax…. ha sorry.

Love Walgreens.  And love tax-free weekend.  Just got 8 boxes of  washable markers and 8 hairclips for FREE,  literally, no tax!!!  And I still have 2 RR's still left!  And NO I do not feel an ounce of guilt for buying so many because it is friday and I took the summer off from couponing!

On the Kotex tampons, they are on sale 2/$7 with a $2 in store coupons plus $1 manufacturer coupon. The store coupon says $2 off the purchase of 2, however, the post on here implies that you can use that coupon for only one purchase and get one box for 50 cents. Does anyone know if this will work?
