    • This $2 printable coupon makes the Omega Krill Oil a $2 Money Maker this next week. Here’s the printable link:

      http://www.omegasmartfishoils.com/coupon.pdf

Good luck to all who dare to shop at Wags. There are some great deals but with their new anti-coupon policies that evidentally vary from store to store and even from employee to employee within the same store, it has become too much of a hassle for me to deal with and Walgreens will get no more of my business after my last negative experience. I was told last week at my local store that you can’t use a manufacturer q if you are using a store (instant-value) q for that same item because Wags is counting store q’s as manufacturer q’s now.

    • $2 printable q makes Omega krill oil a $2 MM this next week:

    • Jillanita

Been waiting for this Wags sale for 2 weeks now.  Hope my trip goes according to plan!

    • connie

I just came back from one of my local walgreens. The cashier saw me with my coupons and came up to me and said she had to inform me of some new changes to their RR policies. She said that they are no longer allowing multi transactions and each customer is only allowed 1 rr per day. If i wanted to get more than 1 of the keri lotion I would have to come back tomorrow and get the other one. I really hope this is only at that store and not a company thing. She also told me that the sale items starting sunday would already be ringing up on thursday evening, but the rr deals wouldn't start until sun.

      • Brooke

I was told recently, I couldn't do multiple transactions to purchase multiples of items that are free after RRs

        • Acdeb5

most of the time the ad will specify a limit per person.

          • Fallaya

            Is this a new policy?

            • Acdeb5

i don’t think so. just read the ad to check limits. my store is very strict.

      • klls18

I have been to 2 different Walgreens that won't allow me to RR to get anything for free. I have tried now 4 times to use them and each time they tell me I'm not spending enough….even with filler items that made my total greater than what the RR's are worth. I'm giving up on Walgreen's. Not to mention, they can't give me anything written saying their policy has changed and at both stores employees were horribly rude. Sad day :(

        • WagFeller1

Your before tax total has to be more than the value of the Register Rewards. So you will always pay something on at least sales tax.

The only way to get something “free” would be to live in a state that doesn't charge sales tax on food or is having a sales tax holiday and then find an item that is the exact same price as your RR, which in its self is unlikely as most register rewards are for full dollar amounts and most items are for x.99.

    • Mhedens

How do you get on the mailing list for the Walgreens home mailer or is the insert that's in the Sunday paper.

      • Melissa

I was wondering the same thing!

      • kim

        Inserts in sundays paper

        • Acdeb5

          what section is it?

    • Sha08

I wonder if the Dove Deal includes items for men?

    • Surfergirl8989

Is $3.25 not a good deal on the cottonelle toilet paper? Theres not an acorn beside it..can u get it cheaper sometimes?

      • I got it for $2.17 back in May.

        • Surfergirl8989

          oh ok thanks guys

      • kristen

I got mine for free @ Kmart

      • Acdeb5

i think the acorn refers to $ 1 or less deals. that is a great deal on tp.

        • 1bigsaver

The acorn signifies items to stock up on because they are at their rock bottom price.

          • Acdeb5

            thanks

      • its decent. but you can sometimes get it cheaper. really just depends. do you need it? will you be needing it in the next few weeks. if yes i would go ahead and get it.. if not you may be able to get a better deal. but you also have to consider if you use multiple stores or not. if you dont/can't then its a deal for you

    • rachael

Does anyone have the huggies coupon in the walgreens home mailer they do not plan to use? PLEASE email me if so I have lots to trade independant89@yahoo.com

      • Acdeb5

how do you get the home mailer?

      • Syndilew

The Huggies code is 5519 if that helps

    • Kcreviews

I have never been able to use a Revlon Color Cosmetic coupon for nail polish. I have been told by the cashier at Wags that nail polish doesn't count for that coupon. HTH. (I would be interested to know if CVS would take it since they have the same deal running next week.)

      • JO

CVS has taken itin the past. I am sure they will. Much nicer employees at CVS. They must  include meaness training as a requirement at Walgreens.

        • ireneY

If corporate and management are douche bags, it must trickle down to every employee.

        • Silveryoung1

I understand the CEO of Walgreens grew up with a couponing single mother so he is very coupon friendly, but many frustrated managers think he just doesn't 'get it' and want policies changed.

      • Melissa

They usually beep at CVS if you use it on nail polish but they always accept it for me there. Walgreens has a better deal this week on Revlon since it is a mm and CVS costs .99

    • Tiffo_02

Does ayone hae te code for the pampers wipes and diapers coupons from the walgreens home mailer?

    • Sharon

In Raleigh the Dove Bodywash coupon in the Redplum 7/31 is for $1.00 off, not $1.25.  This is regional perhaps (???).  Still a good deal, I guess.

      • Nab2079

I too have a $1.00 coupon for the Dove body wash, instead of $1.25. Could someone please tell me if paying $1.50 for Dove body wash is a good deal or should I wait for a better deal? I’m a newbie, and not sure if it’s consider a good deal or if there is better. Any advice would be great!

    • Etowahsub

Do the instant value coupons take off for more than one item? It seems that it would have to for the scenario to work….

      • BoxerMom

Yes they will take off for all of the items you have for that coupons :) and usually they just need the 4 digit code. So you could save your coupon book for the whole month (instead of having to clip them out) since the coupons are double sided.

    • Rlynn103

Not sure if I'll venture to Walgreens this week.  I left again yesterday with a lump in my throat, trying not to cry.   The cashier was SO rude, and would not let me use the $2/2 Expo markers coupon on the 2 of the .99 packs.   I told her I knew she would reduce it to 1.98.  She then stated that there was “No Way” she could do that.  I asked her to look at the coupon policy.  She said I didn't have the right markers anyway.  The picture on the coupon was a 4 pack.  By then, there were several customers in the line, so I sweetly told her it was okay, she could take the markers off my order.  She rolled her eyes to the lady next to me, and stated very loudly that she handles coupons EVERY day, and that she knows how “this works”.   I was embarassed, and frustrated!  Think I will stick to CVS!

      • El

I feel bad for you :(
Sine I started couponing a year ago, I have noticed that Walgreens is the worst place to shop at ( & i worked for them for 7 years). I would definately contact management or even corporate. That is unacceptable!

        • Chris

apparently I'm pretty lucky, 9/10 of the employees at mine LOVE coupons, will even pull out a little folder and scan some for you.

          • Syndilew

I have been to several Wags when I first started too.  I have been to Wags in Florida, PA and we have four in our town and I haven't had a good experience with any of them.  I have no idea how with their poor customer service they stay in business.  Since, I really started couponing I refuse to waste the gas to have to fight.  I don't use false coupons and I hate to be treated like I am doing something wrong because I coupon.  I always look at the Wags ad when CVS and RA are slow thinking that maybe I will give it another try but always decide not to.  I would rather have my teeth pulled out.  CS isn't much of a help either.  They promise to have someone call you back and then they never do.

      • Sorrill

The same thing happened to me @ Walgreens in Jacksonville, IL yesterday.  The cashier even called over the manager & he said the same thing.

      • Couponeagle11

i had this happen at a different publix in town we moved closer to it so i thought id save gas. Well I was wrong the cashier was still doing coupons and a customer service rep came over to see what was taking so lond i had alot of manu ones and she was still doing things based on the old policy while i was on the new one in effect here and then told me she wished we didnt take coupons that i was taking away from her paycheck and she didnt appreciate it. so dont get discouraged try again at a different time of week and hopefully there will be a different cashier i just drove two miles further to a different publixs  and wrote to corporate which they even colalled to ccorrect  /he problem

      • Melissa

My coupon of course “beeped” also so she typed 2 hit a button and it came off so I know they can do something if they don't scan. In the past I have had managers adjust the price up to the amount of a coupon so they will scan for a free item.

      • Suzy

CVS EMPLOYEES ARE A LOT NICER TO DEAL WITH ON COUPONING. WALGREENS ARE NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.  HOPE YOUR READING WALGREENS.

      • Guest

I observe  most cashiers work at Walgreen  are not very friendly to couponers . Even the managers are rude to customers, too. That are the reasons , I don't shop at Walgreen  very  often  . Unless the deals  are really  good , then I will go there .

        • Fallaya

They act like they don't even want to be there…when I did shop there, they all looked depressed.

      • character2

Have your coupon policy with you.  I have had this issue several times with Walgreens mostly with the assistant managers.  Sometimes they do not know the policy and are afraid to take coupons incorrectly because it could cost them their job.  After several calls to corporate, I suggested they laminate their coupon policy and have it every register, so at least a manager can make a qualified decision.  I even did this for my favorite Walgreens after one assistant manager accused me of always having issues with my coupons and refusing to look up the coupon policy.  The store manager welcomed my gift and has put them at the registers.

Praises to this Walgreens.  When I was checking out two weeks ago,the assistant manager referenced how I taught him the policy of coupons being able to be price adjusted per their policy.  Sometimes it just takes patience and education.

      • Thesmithsofop

Not that you should have to, but I purchased 3 of the $.99 Expo markers and used the $2/2 and there was no beep at all. It was $.97 for all three packs. I am lucky because my Walgreens is really great and would have adjusted it had I been purchasing just two of them.

        • Acdeb5

it didn’t beep because your subtotal was over your coupon amount. had you just bought 2 packs and tryed to use the coupon ,it would have beeped because your subtotal was 1.98 . cashier could change coupon to 1.98 or make you buy something over .02 . this happened to me before with the bbq sauce deal.

    • Shannon25lpn

So I was wondering if I buy the stayfree pads they are buy one get one free and I want to use a buy one get one free coupon What happens?

      • ireneY

Possibly a hassle, but supposed to get both free. You pay tax only.

    • amber

what is a walgreens home mailer?

      • christine

I was wondering  the same thing, does anyone know the coupon code?

    • Lydiasmommy777

question: if i buy like four things that all have RR's attached to them will they all print in the same trans, or will only one print for one of the items? i thought they would all print but i've never tried on more then one deal. thank you to whoever can help me! :)

      • Cglisson05

If they are different RRs, then they will all print. If they are the same, then usually Wags has restrictions on how many of the same RR you can have per transaction.

        • Lydiasmommy777

they are for different items, thank you so much!

    • karen

      Thanks Jenny

    • Tarynscastillo

I went to my walgreens on Monday to fill a prescription that my daughter needed. I thought i could pick some purex that was on sale while there, but they ran out.i asked the cashier for a raincheck. She called the manager, who then told me he couldn't give me one because they will get another truck on Wednesday.needless to say i got pissed. I got loud and let him know that i was a widowed, working, single mom with a sick child and that Wednesday wasn't convenient for me. Now Was! Needless to say, i got my raincheck. Don't let yourselves be pushed around by them.they also have bosses as well as a corporation to answer to. Policy is policy. Walgreens needs a workshop on customer satisfaction and that customer Service!

      • Tnjcent

You are right to get pissed.I try to not let my anger show. I usually explain I cannot be there to meet the truck when it decides to show up…and when the employees decide to put out the stuff..I also emphasize that it took $$$ in gas to drive to their store… I recently had to explain this to Corp.F. Lion….the managers at my local store were not happy about this….but I got my product and was allowed to use my coupons. I did nbot let them push me around!

        • Guest

There is nothing wrong with getting pissed off but only in your mind should you and you can get results by talking nice also and go up the ladder in a respectful way you will get more and respect also and it makes the person who is offensive look real bad and you well manneres and cool.

      • themaskedavenger

I'm sorry, but as a retail employee and a poor college student who does clip coupons, I find it awful to get  rude back to an employee. That employee had probably been told a million and one times what to do and was just following protocol for their store. When a customer becomes loud and acts like a JERK I want to do less for them. You might want to remember that next time you go and want something.

      • Tarynscastillo

I relate to what both of you said. I've worked retail and I've been in food service for 17 years. That doesn't mean i can change corporate policy when it suits me. That man was a manager, not a cashier.

He new perfectly well what he was doing. Not just following some one else's orders, as you suggest. . I admit i could have used better tact. Everyone has to draw a line in the sand sooner or later. Guess that was my day.

        • Guest

I agree that she should of used better tact she could of got the same result by asking nicely now when she comes in all the employees will look at her that she likes to start trouble you can bet they talk and know who is nice and who is not it makes it bad for the rest of us.

          • Mrscori2006

I agree that the manager may have been wrong and that is frustrating. But there could have been a better way to react to his decision. I work in a country-style restaurant with a retail store attached (initials C.B.-take a wild guess) and trust me, we remember the nasty customers who treat us like crap. This kind of behavior just makes those of us who shop sales and coupon look like a bunch of looneys all over a bottle of detergent!

        • Annaelizabeth8287

Who gives these people a right to call you a jerk or say it's going to make the rest of them look bad??? and you should use  better tact! Ha. that's whats wrong with this world nobody will stand up to people.. just let em walk all over you..  If you stand up for yourself they will remember next time!
Do you what you want to do!!

I wanted to get the socks at Target last week for $4 but was told I couldn't get a raincheck because it also was part of the buy 4packs get a $5 gift card. I didn't want the $5 gift card because I wasn't going to buy 4 packs, i just wanted to buy a pack for $4 instead of $4.99….I don't understand how they can pick and choose what they give rainchecks for. It's very frustrating!

      • DeeFL

Mine told me they will give rainchecks, but will not give you the RR’s, so it’s kind of pointless to get the raincheck.

How can I get a Walgreens coupon booklet/ home mailer?

      • Are you talking about the Infant book care?I found mine together with other baby offers, magazineand other coupons for baby stuff. So I am sure it's not from walgreens, my suggestion, just sign up to free baby's offers. I just don't remember where did i request it. Because I got twice in the mail

      • jodyG

At my Walgreen's, they had the coupon booklet right beside the sale ads in the store. you can also print most of the coupons on Walgreen's website.

Here is a coupon making the krill oil a $2.00 moneymaker!

    • Ryan

Is there a way to create a shopping list from multiple posts?  Or individually by store/post?  It would be awesome to be able to have them all on the same page!  :)

      • I do it manually by pasting the created lists into an excel-like software.  It takes a little bit more time and effort – but I really need it to be consolidated.

    • Pat

The Ensure muscle milk coupon is actually  $3 off Protein, which you cant find at Publix. Don't know about Walgreens.

QUESTION: My first time trying to buy Nature's Bounty vitamins at Wags, so with the twin pack BOGO deal, does anyone know whether it's stating that the twin packs themselves are BOGO (so I'd be getting two twinpacks or four bottles total, and for what price? The price of a single bottle or the price of a twin pack?) or should the interpretation be that it's a twin pack and that in itself is the BOGO (because I'd be paying the price for one bottle but that I'm getting two bottles= the twin pack?) Thanks for the help and input for my clarification!

      • Silveryoung1

Not sure if this answers your question, but the twin pack is treated as one item, so you can use one coupon and it will count (the two bottles) as one purchase, so you are buying two bottles and getting the second two for free. Never have done the math to see which way is better deal, sorry.

        • guest

          you are exactly right

        • cdsforcollege

Thanks, it helped clarify for me.

      • Zee

i haven't been in walgreens, but usually if something is advertised bogo, then all the packages are bogo (equal or lesser value) If singles are 5 and twin packs are 7 you will get the single for the bogo

$2 Pampers: The Home Mailer Pamper coupon doesn't have a 4digit code like in the monthly book it has a barcode that is all zeros except for hte last five digits…hope this helps but I doubt it will!      00000055215

Why does Walgreens continue to advertise Keri lotion? I have been to 3 Walgreens over the past 2 weeks and not in stock ( I can't even find where they are suppose to be on the shelf.) Has anyone gotten this deal within the last 2 weeks in SC? Thanks!

      • Karmah

Not me.  I've been to two Walgreens and they simply don't sell it.  There's not even an empty space where it might have been, nor a tag depicting the description if there ever were any.  It's in our local ad, but not in our stores apparently (VA).

        • Stephanie in Bham

I just read on another site yesterday that you will not find a place on the shelf for this product. Look for a display! HTH and good luck!

          • Corysarah12

I know that I'm not in any of the states you all are, but here in PA I've gone to Wags for the past two weeks now and have been able to get a bottle both weeks when I stopped. It was on a display around the beauty counter.

            • Zee

same here, look where the hair care and beauty/perfume displays, there is a display right around there, but mine also has it on the shelf. I've never purchased this lotion before the deal, and I wont without one, it so watery!

      • Jgutierrez

Make sure you call several of the Walgreens in your area to see if they have the lotion before you leave home, i got one the manager was so nice to put one away for me but this after calling more then 5 Walgreens in my area.

      • Yazpistachio

I went to Wags in Indian land (northern SC) and bought 2 just a couple weeks ago. . .

      • 1bigsaver

I found mine on a display on the end of the lotion aisle.  Another store had them sitting on the beauty counter.  I would just ask the employees.  I was told by a store manager that if they were out of stock of anything I need, to just tell the manager to order it for the next shipment.  They should get it within a week as long as the warehouse isn't out of stock as well.

      • Mandyward67

it is an item that is new to most walgreens…so I think many of the sotres have them in different spots right now…make sure you ask!

      • Jenihotte

I thought the same thing. When I asked the manager, he led me to a different isle. I believe it was near the sunscreen at my store.

    • Mrswhetstone

Question: If I want a deal going on at Walgreens, but they don't have it, will Walmart match the price including the RR's? I've read conflicting information. Some say they will only match the price not including the RR's and some say they will give you the price after taking off the RR's. Anyone have any experience with this?

      • Zee

dependson the manager, their policy is written to forbid this but the wording they used is gift card. basically a rr and ecb is a gift card to use at the store, so don't gt upset if they deny that.

    • Lea

I have the best luck checking out at the beauty counter at Wags

    • Pinkandblackcrazy

THe expo marker coupon how many will the coupon from the coupon book take off? I mean can I get 4 at one time and will it take off the 3 dollars 4 times or do I need to split it into 2 transactions

      • Brandy

if you buy 4 it will take off $12.00

    • mommyof1

Is it just me? – I look at walgreens week after week, and have never went “couponing” there.. the deals, to me, dont compare to cvs.. and now that I am reading everyones horror stories.. i am kinda put off by walgreens even more.

      • Beth Anne Saves

yeah the past two weeks have SUCKED in terms of couponing but I have some RR that will expire Sunday that I need to use! lol

      • Yazpistachio

Aww, that's too bad. I would give them a chance if I were you. I've been to at least 3 Walgreens in my area (south Charlotte), and each of them is superior to CVS in terms of customer service. They are about equal with CVS in terms of the shelves beeing stocked, although there is one way out in the middle of the country that usually has everything I need.

Try them for a month and see what you think!

      • jen

I think it depends on your store and how well they stock the sales items.  Plus, a mother with kids in diapers will want different sales than a married couple.  I've been frustrated by CVS and there's a Walgreens opening up this week, so I'm going to give them a try.

      • Fallaya

My store is always out of sale items by Monday.  I don't even waste my time going in there anymore.  It makes no sense that they don't stock up better.  I've been noticing this for months.  If you don't get to the store within a few hours of the first day of the sale, you might as well stay home.

        • guest

talk to your  stores manager they might not be aware that you are a couponer and would like to stock up

        • WagFeller1

You should check when your store gets its trucks in. Mine always gets a truck on Tuesday so obvious they are oos of the good stuff on monday as it is the day farthest away from their restock.

        • justjamie

try calling the store and talking to a manager and let them know you are upset about the inventory issues. a lot of this issue comes from stores not sticking to the limits in the ad, so not everyone gets their deal, maybe if you complain they can enforce the limit so you can have your chance for a good deal too.

      • Ckjohnson

You can do well at Walgreens if you watch what you are doing. It's best to start small by only getting one or two deals at a time until you learn all of their rules. The main advantage to Walgreens is that there is no card linked to you like CVS. At Walgreens you can get as many of each deal at you want, but you have to do them one at a time. Also, when you go to redeem your RR's they are just like MC's at Walgreens. You can only use one per item. That's what messes alot of folks up who are used to using as many as they want at CVS. Hope this helps!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I also thought WAGs was bad until months ago when I tried one store in my area for some irresistible deal. I was pleasantly surprised how nice they were. I have been going to them ever since and cut down my cvs considerably. WAGs is trying very hard and doing excellent in their customer service. If there is any issue, their corp. will have the DM and store managers call you and resplve the problem with you.

Also, CVS is no longer offering tht great deals anymore. They cant beat wags with 33 cents for salt/vinegar and all of those items. Definietly give wags a try.

    • CMC

How does the Wal-Mart policy works with adds from other store, they match the sale price item, we can use our coupons but let say they Walgreens has an item with a RR would they honor the RR?

WM's coupon policy is to match the price before RR or ECBs.

Whenever I go to the print coupon for the markers, I am getting a plain white page.  Anyone else having this issue?

      • Couponj

I had the same issue with Google Chrome.  When I tried with Internet Explorer it worked but said i had to reinstall the coupon printer application.

    • What about the B1G1 Free deal on Stayfree…If you use the B1G1 Free coupon then don't you get both free?

      • anon

I think the Stayfree is around 6-7$… So, you could use the coupon, but you'd still have to pay the rest of the amount. The coupon only goes up to $4.49.

      • Meg

Only if the sale price is 4.49 or less, coupon limit.

    • Sha08

Did anyone locate the Walgreen Revlon coupon from SS 7/24? I can't find it anywhere in my AJC inserts.

      • Emily

Not in the Charlotte Observer either

        • Destiny691966

I did not get it in North florida either and the 3 wyb the beauty tool is from Target. Can we use that? It says manufacturer but in the fine print it says only redeemable at Target. The bar code does start with a 9 though.

    • Jklyles1

What is a good price on toilet paper…i need to stock up! Seems like my kids go thru a pack a day!!

      • Janell

I saw this on the dealseekingmom website:
Look at the front bottom of the toilet paper package to determine the total square feet. Now insert a decimal point in this number two places to the left. If the cost of the package minus coupons is less than or equal to this figure, it's a decent deal — basically $0.01 or less per square foot!
        Example:
        TP #1 = 400 sq. ft.; price = $6; stock-up price $4, so not a fabulous deal.TP #2 = 650 sq. ft.; price = $5; stock-up price $6.50, so definitely a bargain!

        Hope it helps!

        • Jklyles1

Got it! Thank you so much:)

I had the same problem and wrote Dove to let them know and they sent me a coupon for a free body wash. I'd email them and let them know!

    • Esha

i have the $2 off walgreens pampers wipes coupon. Can I combine it with a manuf Q of 50 cents. That would make the wipes free ?!?. Is the walgreens considered a manuf. Q? it says on that manufacturer Q, but has walgreens written on it as well.. so not sure… Plz help.,.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

If the followng are tru abut your wags coupon, then it is an actual wags Q and can be combined

        a) If the heading says “wags Coupon” on very top
        b) the Upc code starts with mostly zeros and then just 4 didigt at the very end

    • Lalawhat

for the expo deal do i give the store or man Q 1st

      • Melissa6712

always man q 1st at Walgreens

Wish I would of known this earlier! I got 6 packs of washable expo's for free. When I went back later to get four more packs it wouldn't work right. Had to add 8 candy bars….. think they did store coupons first!?!

I have $20 worth of RR ( 4, $5/ea) I need to use this week. I'd like to buy the cottenelle tissue for $5 less $1 Aug Booklet less $.75 man coupon and pay with it with a RR $5. Can someone explain how I can do this if only 1 man coupon is allowed?

      • Carebearandrea

If you are going to buy 1 toilet paper, the walgreens coupon does not count, but the $.75 and the RR will count as 2 coupons and only 1 item.  You will need 1 filler so that you will have 2 items and 2 coupons. A filler can be a small piece of candy, a back to school item or any other item that you do no have a coupon for.  For this transaction you will Spend $5 – $1 august book – $.75 – $5 RR = Is a negative $1.75 So your filler will have to be at least $1.75 to use the RR.

To use all 4 RR you will have to have 4 fillers and spend at least $7.00 on the fillers

        • justjamie

The Walgreens coupons in the monthy coupon booklets DO count as coupons. Only the in-ad coupons do not count for the 1 coupon per item rule.

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

Is that correct from your actual experience? Thanks

            • Dena

That's correct from my experience. I bought one item wanted to use a MFR Q and a Q out of the monthly coupon booklet and they said in order to do that I needed a filler item.

            • Anonymous

Thanks for your response. I was interested in knowing if anyone actually scanned the coupons on register and if they beeped when combined. Employees make up many nutty things and make you do things as they please or see fit.  I can not tell you how many of them I have educated on just basic, fundamental use of coupons. I just do not trust one word they say.

    • Yvette

Can you give some examples of 10 cent filler items?  I know ther have been plastic cups or pencils before but I  don't usually find an.y

      • Esha

I have bought silly bandz for 10/11 cents. HTH.

      • Teecee

My store always has a bunch of kids' t-shirts in the back marked between 10 and 25 cents.

      • ktavolley03

pencils were 0.09 cents last week, im sure they have some cheap fillers in school supplies this week too

    • Christie

Does anyone have a code for the $2 Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Jumbo pack diapers from the Walgeens home mailer?

      • wagemp

Home Mailer? As in their ad, there isn't a $2 code for the slip-ons.  They are on sale for $9.49 then you will get a $2 register reward back.

    • Guest

FYI- My Walgreens had their Expo '8' count markers on sale for $3.99 not the 6 pk. It was in their sales paper also that it was the 8 pk. The Walgreens coupon was for the 6 pk which my store didn't even carry. I still used my $2/2 Expo coupon and got 2 packs of markers for a little over $6 which isn't too bad for 16 markers. But just keep a watch out.

      • Melissa6712

Thats because the ad starts tomorrow.

    • Teecee

They've been running the Centrum/Flintstones B1G1 half off for weeks but I cannot get it to work. First they told me I needed both boxes to be the exact same price, but that did not ring up right either. My store has no signs by the product, so I've given up. Has anyone got it to work?

    • Vasti

I'm learning to use coupons. What is the Walgreens Infant care booklet and the Home
mailer. I don't know how to get those coupons. HELP

    • Karmah60

According to my Walgreens, they are no longer allowing abuse of the infant care booklet.  They won't punch in codes without the actual coupon, and you have to surrender the coupon out of the book when you use it.  I was told this was from corporate.  They took mine last weekend, so I can't do this week's deals as posted. :/

      • wagemp

My local Walgreens still accepts the coupons out of the infant care booklet. They do have to see them but they don't take the coupon from you.  And they also have an extra infant care booklet at the cosmetic register that they will just scan the coupon in case you don't have one.  I don't think corporate knows what they are talking about.

        • Karmah60

This is supposed to be policy across the board.  I guess some stores are still being rebels, but it's apparently not OK anymore.  Too many people were just using the code (abusing the coupon) without the actual coupon.  So corporate sent memos to the stores and told them to take the coupons now or no discount can be given.  The books were sent to test regions only, and not everyone was meant to have them anyway – let alone waltzing into the store and just throwing around their code.  It was only a matter of time before they stopped it.

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

If they were using codes to get the discount that was already advertised, how is that “abusing” the coupons?  Thanks

            • Jess

Say your company decides to give away 100 booklets of coupons, you then set aside XX amount of money to cover the total cost if all 100 are redeemed. Stores begin using just the codes or copies so this puts your budget in the red, redeeming twice the amount you set aside.

    • Kimkoupon

If the Campbell’s Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom Soup 10.75 oz, 79¢ ea w/in-ad coupon has a limit of three, will it ring up those over three at regular price? Wanting to use the $1/5 but not if I have to buy two at regular price.

      • Kdwe64

Yes, you will have to pay regular price for the additional two.

        • Reynoldsja

I don't think this is true, at least not at my wags.  Sometimes if I need more than the limit, they will let me buy what I need and the wags coupon will scan in and take off for how ever many I have.

      • Jennifer

My store has always let me go over the limit, as long as it is in reason. For example, my husband likes the Arizona tea. When they run it on sale 2 for $1, they usually have a limit of 4. My husband and I will each get 4, but if certain cashiers are there, they will ring all 8 up at the same time and when they scan the coupon, it takes it off for all 8. HTH

      • justjamie

work at a walgreens, and every walgreens has the right to enforce or not enforce limits on items. The coupon WILL take off for every item purchased. At my store, we have been forced to enforce limits on sale items strictly because it was getting to the point where our sale merchandise was out by Sunday evening. This isn't the case for all Walgreens. Good luck to you and happy couoning :)

      • Kimkoupon

They didn't enforce the limit of 3 at my Walgreens on Campbells, so I was able to get 5 at $.79 and then use my $1/5 coupon:)

      • Sgeyer133

I just got home from Walgreens. I bought 5 cans of Cream of Mushroom soup, used the $1/5 a and the $.79 coupons and didn’t have any problems. I received the flyer price for all 5 cans. I bought Huggies Slip On’s earlier and used the $2 RR + the $2 RR for buying Platex. I got out of there spending $2.18 for 5 cans of Cambells, 2 cans of Fancy Feast (2/$1) and a box of Milk Bones (on sale for $2.50). Love the RR!!!

Can someone tell me how to get the August Walgreens coupon booklet?  Is this something I can request at the store?  Thanks!

      • Karmah60

That booklet is at the front of the store where the week's ad is, usually in a slot beneath it.  This month's has a green cover.

      • Kvc_1104

You can get it by the entrace of the store or print out the coupons from their site

Ask the store manager!!  Our Walgreens in Anderson, SC saved 1 booklet and keeps it in the office.  She made a copy of the coupons for me to hang onto since they do not have to turn the store q's in like they do with man q's.  Hope this helps!!

        • Jesspeak

sorry- the booklet i'm referring to is the Infant Care Booklet  =))

    • Amberj

Is the expo deal only for washable markers? They are terrible!  I was hoping to get the regular ones.

      • Newbie

Should have bought them last week, the 2 pk. black were on sale for $.99 and the four pack color/black on sale for $1.99.  SO if you had the $2/2 Expo coupon, you could have had both packs for $.99.

        • Amberj

Yeah, I didn't find the $2/2 coupon until last night. Go figure!

        • Ladybugpam

I feel the opposite!  I am bummed that I “spent” all my Expo q's last week on boring 'ol black:(  wish I had known the colors were going to be free this week!  I could have gotten colors AND 6packs instead of 2 packs!
well, if anyone wants to trade their Expo q's for q's they need that I might have, lemme know!  pamelaspringhunter@yahoo.com

          • Guest

I do know that this site does advertise in advance and I heart wags also and many moe coupon websites also.

          • Saveit

I planned ahead when I saw both sales a week apart and used half of mine last week for the black and the rest today for the colors. I was in need of some markers for my keep my life on track board, these came just in time could barely see mine anymore, no more squinting lol

    • Leereich

The expo markers are $3.99 for ONE pack, the manufacturer couopn is $2/2. You have to get $3.99 x 2 = 7.98 then minus $3.00 WAG coupon making them $4.98 for 2.

      • Leereich

OOHH, I see what you did, hahaha! My bad, use two walgreens coupons, I didn't know you could do that in one transaction.

        • Bamasaver

Actually, you don't have to use two Wags Qs–when you use one of their Qs, it will deduct the Q amount for each item you're buying.  In this case, one Wags Q will take off $6 if you purchase two of them.

      • Mcleodsc

Had the cpn and planned to get two but the store only had ONE so I could not use the cpn but I did buy that one and used the WAG cpn on it.

    • Destiny691966

I put this in earlier too but was just wondering about the $3 off beauty item wyb a beauty tool from Revlon, My coupon says it is a manufacturer coupon but it says only redeemable at Target and the bar code does start with 9 should I be able to use it at walgreens or not?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You can try; but if they do not take it, then you do not have a case to argue. If the coupon says “ONLY redeemable at …” then the text only is troublesome-such coupons are probably reimbursed to those mentioned stores only and no other retailers may be reimbursed.

        • Destiny691966

          ok thanks for info.

    • Newbie

Just went to the 24 hour WAGS since I can't go later today.  Spent $15.23 on $82.59 worth of stuff AND got $19 back in RR.  So I sort of made $3 on the deal.  SWEET!!!!!!!!!!  I just wish they did better keeping stock in…by the end of the week, they are out of everything RR.

    • Evelynandchris

The $1/5 Campbell's Q isn't worth it because there is a limit of 3 on the $0.79 in-ad Q and tge regular price is $1.59 each. Also, once again my infant care coupon on Huggies won't work. This time they tried to say that the slip-onHuggies.aren't considered diapers. Whatever! I have had so much trouble with that Q. I plan to just get them cheaper at CVS anyway.

      • Destiny691966

When I have gone to any of the walgreens stores in my area, I will usually have one coupon for each three things I buy but they always tell me I dont need them just the one and the price has always been right.

      • 4boysmom

I think the infant care huggies coupon is for a box of huggies, not a jumbo pack.  That could be the problem with the coupon not working.  HTH

      • Kimkoupon

They didn't enforce the limit of 3 at my Walgreens on Campbells, so I was able to get 5 at $.79 and then use my $1/5 coupon:)

      • Guest

Three words: Walmart price match. They usually don't limit me even if the Walgreens ad says so.

    • Hippiecouponmama

I have read the Walgreens statement on coupons. I know you can get one WYB per item per transaction, but can you get two WYB for different products within one transaction? For instance, can I buy Kerri's lotion, get $5 back and buy revlon nail polish and get $1 wyb in the same transaction?

      • Melissa

        Yes, you can.

    • Stephaniecelie

I just left Walgreens and bought 2 special k protein shakes. They are advertised at 2 for $10.00 with $5 RR back. I used two $1.00 off coupons toward the shakes, a previous $5 register reward (from yesterdays Keri lotion purchase) as well as two boxes of crayons (as filler items). My register reward did not print. When I asked the manager why he said it did not print because I used a manufacturer coupon toward the shakes. I called customer service and they seemed to agree. This is crazy! I have been shopping at Wags for 4 months and ALWAYS use coupons and my RR always print. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

      • Crazycoupongurl

That happened to me the last time I was there. The assistant manager explained that when you use RR towards a purchase that'll give you RR, they wont print because thats giving it to you for free. So he advised not to use the RR towards those purchases. Rather use them towards those that don't give RR. Walgreens has gotten a bit complicated. Personally I'd just rather go to CVS because even if I use EB, I'll still get my EB from what I purchased

        • ireneY

I just used a RR on a RR-generating item yesterday and it printed fine. Unless the system changed over this morning, I don't believe that's the case. I have found that most employees, and even managers, are clueless as to how the Catalinas work.

        • Sha08

I use RRs all the time on items that generate another RR. Actually that is the only way I will shop at Walgreens. I do it every time.

        • Reynoldsja

I have 3 walgreens here and at one of the walgreens the manager actually told me the same thing.  I was trying to purchase the finesse shampoo and conditioner and would have gotten a $5 RR, well, I had a coupon and a $5 RR from a p&g item and the RR didn't print out.  At first he said it was because finesse was owned by p&g, then he said that they would prefer I didn't use a RR to get another RR .  I returned everything there and went to the Walgreens that I usually go to, which is across town and was able to use the $5 RR from p&g to buy the finesse and got back a $5 RR!!
I really hate when a manager of a store talks out of their a$$!!

      • Guest

I think it is because you had used the 5$ rr from the other weeks k drinks.

        • Stephaniecelie

My 5$ RR was from the Keri Lotion which to my knowledge should have worked because it was a RR from a different company.

      • Newbie

In the metro Atlanta area, I've mostly had no trouble, although I did today.  I should have received a $4 RR for a razor, and had used some of last week's RR for my entire purchase.  BUT all the other RR printed for the other items!  I took it back, had the manager return it and repurchased it and it printed.  So I don't know what the deal is.  If they are going to limit the use of RR, they need to make that statement in writing in their ads or on the RR's.  It's a little annoying.

    • Sgrant0805

I went to Walgreens today. For the dove deal and had no idea it was only. For this upcoming Saturday 10-5

      • Tharpdw1

the dove deal worked this morning in Florida for me

      • Karmah60

It did not work for me in VA.  No RR.

      • Jgutierrez

that is weir i when today and got what i need it and everything was find even the rr PRINTED just try again :)

      • Tina

It isn't for this upcoming Sat.  I got the deal this morning after arguining with the store manager whom claimed that the special was only for Sat.  It didn't make any sense to me why they would only offer the RR's for a select number of hours on Sat.  Anyway, pay attention to what sizes you are buying because mine didn't print out when I tried purchasing the larger body soap.  Once I tried the combo with the smaller body soap…the RR's printed.

      • Jennifer

You should try to wait and purchase the items advertised as”Saturdate” on Saturday because the stores receive a box from that vendor with COUPONS & FREEBIES for SATURDAY ONLY. Alot of stores do additional giveaways as well.

    • Jrodger04

I'm getting rather fed up with shopping at Walgreens.  This is about the 4th week in the row that headquarters has not sent my Walgreens the items needed for the sale deals advertised in their flyers.  I'm going to just focus on CVS.  Last week I went to CVS and used a rain check (one of the things I love about CVS) for a combo deal (buy $30 worth…get $10 ECB).  One of the items for the rain check had its own ECB for that week's specials, which printed out.  I pointed out to the cashier that I probably should not get the extra $5 for the item because of the rain check, but she said it was fine!  One more reason to shop CVS!

    • Just got back from walgreens, empty handed. . .

I just wanted to purchase the revlon nail polish, and grabbed a candy bar as a filler, got to the reg only to face the sign “rewards machine is down”. ugh, it was not down 14 hours ago thank you very much!

      • Czalisnky

        it happens.

      • ireneY

Yeah, that's disappointing. At least they said something before ringing you up.

    • Floydus87

Did anyone find the Pert coupon? It wasn't in the Birmingham or Jasper Alabama papers. Anybody know where to get it?

      • Jillanita

The Pert coupon was for sure in the Charlotte Observer paper……but we didn't get the Revlon Q.

        • Brina381

I didn't get the Pert coupon in the AJC or the Columbus Ledger Enquirer here in Fort Benning either.  Was hoping to get them, but oh well.  I paid the .99 cents for the Pert Plus, since that is my husbands shampoo and still a good price.

          • Diane

I got the pert q in the atlanta ajc – 5 pages (pieces of paper) from the back on the top of the page next to a sure Q in smartsource.  hope that helps!

            • Floydus87

              Thanks!!!

    • Iteachmusic

So frustrated with Walgreens this week…Manager told me that they are only printing 1 RR per transaction now :( I tried to do the Krill Oil and the Revlon Nail Color in the same transaction and it only printed the Krill Oil RR… On top of that, the Revlon $1 Q that came in this Sunday's paper wouldnt scan…Manager said none of the Revlon coupons have been scanning…I only paid 1.99 (which is still a good deal!), but I didnt get the RR! I think they are catching on to our crazy couponing ways :)

      • Yesterday, I bought the Pert Plus and Playtex tampons in one transaction and got both RR.

      • Diane

I did this yesterday and today.  Well, definitely today.  I got 4 dove products and a pert.  used qs for everything and a $10.00 RR from omega …   I got my $3 RR and $5 RR both.  The RR is a manu Q.  It really doesn't have anything to do with their profit, so I don't think there is anything for them to catch on to.  I'd definitely call customer service.  I had a problem with something not printing out a couple of weeks ago.  They said it was because I had only tax OOP.  It turned out the cat machine was out of paper!!!!   funny.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

We don't know the exact details. But, there might be misunderstanding. The manager may have meant that 1RR prints for one like offer/deal (?). If not, then I am not sure how they could possibly control catalina universal system.  If the later s the case, then there is something wrong. Advertising clearly states you would get RR for that offer (though1 per transaction); but it does not set limit on how many RR you may get for different offers. They can not back off from their advertising

    • Jklyles1

i actually had a good day at Wags…got $55 worth of stuff for $4.82 OOP and $7 RR left over. The cashier even helped me out by finding extra coupons in sales Ad. Very happy!

    • Kristina Akins

Best shopping experience EVER at Walgreens!!  Especially considering I was NEVER going to go back there again after my last several visits!!!!
      First transaction:
1 Pert (make sure you buy the correct size to get the RR!) – $3.99
2 Expo Dry Erase Markers – $3.99 each
3 single packs of Trident Gum – $1.39 each
      Use:
-$1 off Pert Plus 3-in-1 or 2-in-1 product, excl trial size, SS 8/14
-$3 off Expo washable dry erase markers 6 pk., August Walgreens coupon booklet (takes off $6)
      -$2/2 Expo markers (printable)
In-ad coupon to make each Trident $.79
      -$2/3 Trident products, SS 7/24
Also used a $3RR from a previous shopping trip.
      Total w/tax: $1.04 plus a $3RR

    • Karmah60

The Huggies coupon out of the IFC will not work because it's for a BOX of Huggies, not a bag btw.

    • Desihatt

Does anybody know where to find what megasaver items are on sale at Walgreens?

    • Wwkkss07

Did anyone else have trouble getting the packs of Expo markers?  The lady at the register was very nasty and told me I could only get one pack of marker, meaning I couldn't use my manufacturer coupon.  I asked her where it said there was a limit of one and she pulled the “we have the right to limit sale items” catch.  I left without buying anything because she was not the friendly cashier I want to buy from.

      • Couponstef

At my Walgreens, they had a sign up that they were limiting some items in the Office Supplies this week but their limit was 5!  They didn't have any markers anyway – the cashier said the truck comes Thursday.  Seems like Walgreens could do a little more planning to be ready for their sales – i.e. order more markers to arrive the Thursday before the sale!  LOL!  I would just try another Walgreens if there is one close by as I am sure the new store's policy will be different!

      • EN37

Wilmington walgreens would not honor the manu coupon bc they said it was not for the washable expo markers when it clearly stated any expo item.  Gonna try again in JOCO

      • ktavolley03

i was going to get 2 per purchase, so i could use the $2/2 and just to be sure there were no limits, but my cashier told me that there wasnt a limit and i could get them all (6 packs) at once without separate transactions.  worked fine!

      • Jaslscc

My Walgreens would not let me use the Walgreens Coupons and the Expo Manufacturer coupon together.  Apparently the Walgreens Coupons say “manufacturer coupon” on them and are not counted as such.  So the register would not allow me to purchase the Expo Markers and get them free:(  Sad because I was buying them for a teacher friend who just got a job on Friday and is starting with nothing.

    • Couponstef

I have a question…Walgreens is running a buy one get one 1 free sale on an item I use, however, Walgreens price is over 6 dollars and the coupon max. value is 4.99.  I know Walmart will price match for sale items listed as a certain price in the ad (ex: deodorant for $1.50) but will they do a price match for an ad that states “Buy one, Get one”?  Thanks for the help.  :)

      • Missdtea

Buy one, get one free ads with a
specified price (example: Buy one for
        $2.49, get one free (BOGO)).
Here's what Walmart has in their Price Match Policy, copied and pasted this.

        • Couponstef

Thank you Missdtea!  I should have thought to look at their website!  :)

      • Guest

Yes, I price match BOGO's all the time. As long as the ad says, “Save up to ___$$.” It has to have a price listed.

    • Bamasaver

I'm s-o-o-o glad I still had my $1.50 Qs for the new Skintimate cream shave.  (When CVS had their $2.19 sale a few weeks ago, none of our stores had any in stock so I got other items to qualify for the ECBs & just hung onto those particular Qs.)  With the Wags in-ad Q making them $1.99, using my Qs meant that I got them for only $0.49 each–a great deal for a household with three females!  Also got a bottle of the krill oil (my husband has been wanting to give them a try) & got the $10 RR back for use on other items we need.  Intended to get the Expos, but the racks were already empty this afternoon.

    • Bethany

Does anyone have the Walgreens Huggies home mailer coupon code they can share? My Walgreens is willing to type in the code, but I don't have it. thanks

      • I have them posted on my blog. Follow this link and scroll down a little.

        http://savinsource(DOT)blogspot(DOT)com/search/label/Walgreens

        • Bethany

I have the infant care codes but not the home mailer. I couldn't find it on your site. is that huggies code working on the jumbo slip on diaper packs?

          • Lisa

The infant care coupon does NOT work on the huggies slip-ons that are on sale :(  It’s for a bigger size.

        • Atlcouponista

Thanks for posting the  coupon codes on your blog.

    • guest

I finally got my Huggies wipes and sugar on sale last week with my rainchecks tonight!  YEA!!!

    • Vkostyal

I'm going to have to return my Revlon now!  Looking at my receipt it didnt ring up right?  It was $4.99 instead of $3.99, I was in a hurry because the Revlon MFG coupon wouldnt scan so I was just getting hot while people were looking at me with that look, But I did get 8pks of Expos for free though and at this Walgreens they didnt have a register rewards for the Special K only Bonus points!!  Oh well

      • I got the right price on the Revlon, but she couldn't get my MFG to scan. . .She tried and tried and finally called someone. . .see if you can just get a price adj tomorrow

        • Gatorginger

Mine wouldn’t scan either but the cashier keyed it in

    • Ugh, just realized my rrs expire today and I already have all three kids in bed and hubby is gone!!!  Anyone have any experience with wags and expired rrs?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I woud simply use them asap and of they do not beep and they probably wont, you are good to go

        • Jennifer

STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO USE EXPIRED COUPONS! Maybe the stores should take their coupon LOSS out of YOUR BANK ACCOUNT! It is people like you that ruin it for the rest of us. It is people like YOU that make cashiers cringe!

          • Tduncan6

Bi-Lo is Boiling Springs, SC does honor expired coupons up to 30 days.
Need proof, call and ask to speak to Lisa. She is the store's manager.

        • jncs

people like you give couponers a bad rap.

        • Jennifer

These boards are to HELP couponers “coupon” ethically. Maybe you need to look up that word. They put a expiration date on the coupons for a reason!

    • Thaygal

Anyone got a pert 2  in 1  shampoo for $1/1 and a Revlon $2/ 1 walgreens coupon? i didn't get it in my paper. send it to thaygal@yahoo.com

    • sgt_h

The revlon coupnon the 7/24 SS is a a target coupon, not a manuf coupone

      • There is a wags $2 off coupon in 7/24 and a $1 off from today :)

    • Abigailfr

anybody ever been able to use expired RR? I just looked at my stash- thought they expired tomorrow but they expired today. I have like $20. I figured I would go tomorrow and try to convince the manager to let me. I live in the Atlanta area.

      • Missdtea

according to the Walgreen coupon policy they don't accept expired coupons.
        Sorry!

      • guest

yes you can, the register will take them up to week old!

        • Jennifer

By knowingly giving/sliding the cashier expired coupons you put that employee in jeopardy of being disciplined. Worse that cashier will forever treat ALL couponers like they are trying to get over on them. The coupons are Cash to you, it's CASH to Walgreens.

      • guest

no they beep and they won't take them.

    • Missdtea

Here's a deal for Pilot Pens at Walgreens.
I signed up for email at Pilot.  I got a coupon for $1.00 off Frixion Erasable pens. They are on sale for $1.99 this week.
There is a rebate on the package: $1.25 for one, $2.75 for two, $4.50 for three.
      Rebate on two:  $1.99 x 2= $3.98-$2.00 coupons=$1.98 paid $2.75 rebate(.77 over)
      Rebate on three $1.99 x3= $5.97-$2.00 coupons=$3.97 paid $4.50 rebate.(.53 over)
      Not bad!

    • Adn823d7

My walgreens would not let me use two pampers coupon for two dollars off because it said one like coupon per purchase.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

“purchase” is not to be confused with “transaction.” $2 off (1) pamper means 1 piece of Pamper is one purchase. They traditionally write one “coupon per purchase” to assert that consumers not present 2 of the same Q and apply to 1 Pamper.

Similarly, if the Q stated $2 off 3 Pampers, then in that case 3 pieces of Pamper would have been one “purchase” and you could not use another one or two to get more discount simply because you have the coupons in your possession.

    • Good morning, my fellow Wag(gers). After reviewing my receipt, I noticed that there's an extra item scanned (4 canned good, instead of the limit of 3) that I didn't get. I've already gone home and all, would I be able to contest this? Any advice on how to tackle this?

      • Uisgebaugh

Most likely it would depend on the store- but I work for Walgreens and my managers would let you choose to take the item you didn't get or would refund it to you, even if you left and came back in (of course with the receipt). We realize most of the time people don't look at their receipts until later. I'd call the store before you make the trip though.

        • the asstmngr was kind enough to refund the money… Thank you for your help. Next time, I’ll keep an eye on my receipt before I leave the store…

    • Dezzy

2 different store managers told me i cant get use the expo marker Q's because of the penny overage. the policy says they can adjust it down. grrrr so annoying

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You will need to educate them and also show them a copy of WAGS policy It clearly states

“Walgreens will accept manufacturer coupons for an item that is on sale.
In the event that any item's selling price is less than the value of the coupon,  Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. “

It is our duty to educate our fellow members of the society. They might start making up nutty things even sfter reading the policy because they mght not wanna look like idiots.  In that case, you need to set foot on ground. If necessary, call the corporate.

Also, remember, manuf Q does not state anywhere that it can not be used on sale items; neither does the manuf Q set the minimum price before the Q could be used.

    • wkroeze

How do I sign up to get a Walgreens home mailer with coupons?  The workers at y store have never heard of it.  Thanks, Wendy

    • LuvNQPs

Ok, I have been couponing for a while now but have never tried using the Winn-Dixie Catalinas anywhere other than Publix. SO, yesterday Winn-Dixie printed off a $2.50 off any cottenelle Tissue 4pk or larger, it states Mani Q…I can use this at Walgreens with the August $1 off and get the 12pk for $1.50….is this correct? I found another in the parking lot as well…so 24rolls of tissue for $3 sounds good to me if this works…

      • Tawanda

What did you purchase to get the $2.50 cat? You should be able to use it as long as it doesn't state reedeemable ONLY at XXX

        • LuvNQPs

Nothing in particular, I had about $60 in groceries…It does not state “redeemable” just “available”…

          • LuvNQPs

Bummer just looked at the Cata.. again and it does state “redeemable at WD” not to be all technical on verbage..but it does not say “redeembable ONLY at WD” so can I still use it? Gonna go give it a try…will let ya know if it takes..

            • Hailey Hurst 22

As long as it doesn't say “only at” then it's fine. I just remembered I had a $1 one from safeway! Woo

            • Tawanda

              You should be fine.

    • Kristi

Does anyone know if the catalina is still printing when you purchase 2 packs of Cottonelle at Walgreens?

      • Ana

I bougth two of the Cottonelle wipe refills and I got a catalina for $1/2  wipe refills 84 ct.

      • ireneY

Don't think so. The Cat offer ended on the 13th.

    • Msamples9815

There is a $2 off coupon for ReNew Life Omega Smart Super Krill Oil on the internet.

      • Art Eyzaguirre

it's already free in the store. Buy for $10.00 and get $10.00 reward dollars

        • Bamasaver

True, but if you print & use a coupon your oop is only $8 & you get $10RR so it becomes a money-maker!

          • Lovnnpink14

where is the 2 dollar coupon

            • Bamasaver

              It's at omegasmartfishoil(dot)com.  HTH

    • mommieof4

I know this has been asked before but I can't remember. Can i use walgreens coupons from the august booklet and a mftr coupon.  And how should i give them the coupons at checkout.

      • Tawanda

Man THEN WAGS;remember you go in  in alphabetical order – M than W

        • Ivette

Does the order really matter?  I wasn't aware of this..

          • Tawanda

It does. If you don't do it in that order, the register won't accept the Man Q. I had a quick fingered cashier who scanned the WAGS coupon first , and it wouldn't accept the Man Q afterwards. However, if you have developed a good relationship with your cashier, and it's not busy, try experimenting to see if this is still the case as some of the registers have been upgraded HTH.

          • Zee

It really doesn’t because they can override it. The policy says you can use a wags q and a manu q so they are required to accept it. Just point out that you are using a store coupon and they should know. If you want to avoid all that (trust me, I understand) then go in the order others have suggested, manu qs, then wags qs

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Some have reported that both can work together and technically speaking the monthly booklet coupons are store Qs and can be combined with manuf Qs.  In my region, it looks like there are relatively new and different registers now. Here, coupon order does not matter.

      • Gatorginger

Give them your manufacture coupon first and yours wags coupon last, I always put my wags coupons on the bottom cause if not it will reject one if you don’t

    • Uisgebaugh

Most likely it would depend on the store- but I work for Walgreens and my managers would let you choose to take the item you didn't get or would refund it to you, even if you left and came back in (of course with the receipt). We realize most of the time people don't look at their receipts until later. • Lowc1984

Can someone please explain to me where you get the 2.00 Revlon coupon from Walgreens??  I have looked everywhere and I can't find it.

      • Missdtea

the coupon was in a coupon insert  in the Sunday paper. I think it was a week ago,

    • Meghan_lockwood

Where do you find the infant care booklet?  and the home mailer coupons?

    • 4boysmom

Went to Wags this morning and they were out of the washable 6 pack expo markers.  However, my store had a combo pack with a white board attached.  If you read the package it says “free white board with the purchase of expo washable markers.”  Had them do a price check and they were on sale for 3.99 as well.  Plus, you can use the coupons.   I got two of them for free.  Even if you have to pay a $1.00, what a bargain.

    • Leereich

The Walgreens I go to is more than happy to give rainchecks that have no expiration date, last week's sale the manager gave me a raincheck for the Ban deodorant and up to 4 of them, but I only wanted one (only needed one). I love that Walgreens…

    • Jenny

Can someone correct me if i am wrong… i thought if the store has an ad for BOGO, and i use a BOGO manufacturer coupon, i would get the 2 items for free. Is that how it goes? I am totally confused. HELP ME PLEASE!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

As of now, WAGS does accept manuf bogo on store sale bogo items; thus making both “free.”  ALso note that there is usually a monetary limit on manuf bogo Qs in fine prints. If store sale item A (item B being free) price is more than the bogoQ max. llimit, then you might wanna be ready for the extra amount from your pocket

    • Shopper0715

Is it true that if you use a manufacturers coupon in your transaction that you can't use a register reward coupon to pay for it??  I went there today and the cashier and the manager made me feel like an idiot trying to figure it out.  They were both saying conflicting things and eventually I just said don't worry about it, as the lady behind me started tapping her nails on the counter behind me ugh! This stuff sure gets confusing sometimes!

      • gina

No, that is not true.  However, –simply put– if you buy one item and use a MQ and then want to use a RR to pay for it, you must have a filler item.  RRs are MQ.  So, however many MQ–and count the RRs– you want to use, you must have the same number of items in your transaction.  Does this make sense? Without any details about the transaction you were trying to make, that's all I can say. Walgreen's is tricky when you're first starting out couponing.  Also, on a side note , don't concern yourself about the nail-clicking lady behind you.  You have the right to use your coupons and the employees, at least in my experience, should want to help you out!

        • Shopper0715

I think I got it now. thank you!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You were buying item A and had a manuf Q for item A that you wanted to use.

You also wanted to use RR to pay for the balance of the transaction. The manuf Q you had was attached to item A. However, wags register needs an item foreach manuf Q and/or for each RR you like to use.

Therefore, you needed to buy an item B, that could attach to your second Q. called RR. Thus, item B is called a “filler” because you just need that item for RR to attach to.

In summary, you need at least the number of items scanned as the number of manuf Q and RRs you like to use. In your case, you had one item and two Q (one manuf and one RR). Therefore you were short of 1 item from the ratio

    • Shopper0715

And what is this catalina that everyone keeps mentioning?  I'm new to couponing :)

      • Bamasaver

The RRs at Walgreens are manufacturer coupons (redeemable only at Walgreens) which print, after your receipt prints, on another printer that’s operated by a company other than Walgreens.  I think the company name may be Catalina & that’s why they’re referred to as a “catalina”.  (Catalinas also print in other stores–I’ve gotten them @ Winn Dixie & Target–they’re longer & skinnier than normal coupons.)  Hope this answers your question!  Happy couponing!!!

      • Bamasaver

Oops, forgot to mention that catalinas (that aren’t RRs) sometimes print at Walgreens too.

    • Mooonmist

RE Brachs candy- I can't find the coupon in ss 7/17

    • Amanda

My wags in Greenwood SC did not have Pampers on sale. They Did have the new Huggies slip on diapers on sale for $9.49 and with a $2 RR. Combined with the $3/Huggies slip on coupon in last weeks paper, I got them for $4.49/pack.

      • Sgeyer133

I am new to this and have a questions on the Huggies deal. Can I use the RR on my first diaper purchase (when they print) or do I need to wait until my next purchase? Sorry if this is a silly question!!

        • Kate

You will have to wait until your next purchase. A RR is a coupon that will print out  after the transaction is complete. HTH

    • Natalie559

      **Question on the dove deal**:

I went to wags yest to do the dove deal, bought 2 shampoos and 2 treatments, and the RR did not print.  Two depends coupons printed then the catalina machine ran out of paper, she replaced it, but nothing more printed.  She called over the manager who said it did not print b/c it was a Saturday only deal as indicated in the weekly ad.

Based on some comments online others are getting the RR now- so what's the deal??  Are you all doing this deal now?  Should I try another wags?

      Thank you.

      • Jgutierrez

You need to return the items, try the transaction again or go to another Walgreens. If when you did the transaction you had any coupons then need to give you credit for that. I when to buy my Dove Sunday 08/14/2011 I use the B1 get 1 free coupons paid total of $6 and got $5 back.

      • jhoran1

Did this deal yesterday and the rr’s printed.

      • Natalie559

Thanks- I tried a different wags yest and it worked great!!

It really is a great deal and I did not see it illustrated above.  We got the B1 shamp/con G1 treatment free and also B1 womens G1 mens free deo in the RP mentioned above.  The ad says 4 for 15 but they are ringing up 4.49,4.49,4.49,1.53 – so using the B1G1 treatment as an example, hand them 2 treatments to scan first then 2 shampoos.  The free treatment coupon will each take off 4.49 making your total before RR 6.02- get back 5 RR and get your 4 items for 1.02 plus tax!

If you have only 1 treatment and 1 deo coupon, hand them the treatment and mens deo first then the shampoo and womens- the free coupons are for treatment and mens and they rang up first at 4.49 so each coupon will take off 4.49.  I found packs of mens deo 2 for 1 making the deal even better :)

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

      To coupon ethics audience!

      a) Do you use back button to print multiple Qs
      b) Do you use multiple computers to print Qs
      c) Do you use zipcodes you do not live in to search Qs
      d) Do you sign up your hubby to receive multiple Qs in emails
      e) Do you use “moneymaker” to do transaction
      f) Do you use “rolling” to get free products

Hint: Above are not questions, no need to respond in yes but just to think before bashing others. For a lot of people out there, the any/above “Smart Shopping” is just as ethically wrong. That is why you encounter hostile and unfriendly employees and people.

And PLEASE, I am not pointing the above at anyone, certainly not personally; I am for it whatever you do. I just needed to knock the head of those self-disclosed coupon ethics here yelling and cursing on these boards.  No further arguments needed, and truly thank you for reading!

      • Diane

did something get edited out?  All the comments I've seen have seen well-behaved lately.

        • gina

Look at the earier posts.  Someone asked about exp RRs if you could use them.

    • Reynoldsja

I have used bogo coupons on bogo sales and gotten both items free, just had to pay tax.  But you have to read the coupon.  A lot of bogo coupons nowadays have a maximum that you can get free.

      • Reynoldsja

Sorry, meant to reply to Jenny.

    • Katydid2012

Today at Wags, bought  2 Oral B Scope toothbrushes and recieved a $2 & $3 Register Reward instead of only $3.

      • Diane

what q's did you have for that?

      • Dgonza27

what was the bar code on them?

      • Anonymous

Looks like their technical department mixed up items. There are two different sales. One offer included Oral B 123 TB (they are new variety) and Scope moutwash also included. In the other offer, Oral B Complete Advantage TBs included. It looks like they entered all upc codes for both offeres thus, coinciding with each other.

I would be interested in the price that rang up on your items. It should be either $5 or $6 for two items in each offer?

    • 1bigsaver

Another bad experience at Wags.  They were out of stock of everything on my list.  I went to get rain checks and was told that since some of the items print register rewards, I wouldn’t get the rewards if I redeem the rain checks after this weeks sale.  Is this true and if so, then what the heck is the point of rain checks if you can’t get the register rewards and they are out of stock for weeks at a time?

      • Anonymous

Actually, the employee is correct. They would only write the raincheck for sale price, if that matters to you. They do not have the ability to generate RR after the sale week because Catalina is probably administered by separate entity. And, they do not reduce the price of items by RR value.

      • Rclay18

This is why I love CVS! Even though they have limits they will print your ECBs with your rainchecks!

        • Destiny691966

Yes but I have never had so much trouble finding the items that are on sale. If they dont have it the first time they almost always have it the second time and they are always helpful and kind. I cant say the same for our wags.

Try this for a $2 coupon on the Omega Super Krill http://www.omegasmartfishoils.com/coupon.pdf

    • Lyddiejay

I need to give wags a compliment.  I’ve been wary because of some bad experiences that are posted sometimes (bout wags) but I still coupon there and just try to be real careful.  They are out of product alot but today I managed to still find the omega fish oil.  I couldn’t believe it.  It was hidden behind other product tho, I wonder if someone was stashing it away for a return trip.  Idk  Anyway when I got up to pay I was a little confused cuz the kids were with me and one of my rr didn’t print.  My cashier was a little new and couldn’t figure it out so the manager came up and I had the wrong size bottle (my fault).  Had to delete entire transaction and do it again.  I’m really grateful that she took the time to figure it out because I was about to cancel trans and walk out.  Instead I got all the product and walked out with 14 rr for next week.  I’m thrilled.

Love my wags in north Nashville on Clarksville pike. My favorite cashier darrin was working at the front register but since I had several separate order I checked out at the Beauty counter. The young lady was super nice and even scanned the wags coupon for the $2 off revlon that I left at home that they had behind the counter. I spent 16 oop and got back 14 rr since I added some filler items and used my extra rr rewards from previous trip. Needless to say I shared my b1g1 coupon the the young lady and showed her how After the $5 rr for the dove shampoo and treatment would only really cost her about $2 for all 4. She said that they restock on Saturday and I went ahead and gave up some of those coveted coupons for the crest toothpaste w scope and the oral b t brushes so she could grab some deals on Saturday for her and her family. Btw like previous post did say the dove deal is printing the $5 rr now so don’t wait tip saturday if you want to ensure that you are able to get what u need at a great deal!

Also forgot to mention my filler item was the dep gel that they had on the back aisle in the clearance bins. They were .50 cents each. I saw the slightly larger bottle was $3 in the main aisle and since it is the brand my husband uses u picks up 5 of them and used them so I could use some of my rr before they expired. I think if u picked it up at Walmart or another store if I remember correctly they run about $2.50 at other stores, so it’s a great buy

I went to 5 different wgs today for the 2nd time since Sunday to try to find the deals they had for this week and got nothing. I asked if or when they might get some in especially the Keri lotion and was told that the warehouse is completely out and they dont know when they might get any in. I asked about a raincheck, the only raincheck they will give is for the sale price. You cannot get RR on rain checks. I am really tired of getting gipped at walgreens and I dont think I will do my coupon shopping there anymore unless its a cheap price on something I really need. I plan to go the corporate site and state my unhappiness with them. Surely they have to care that they are losing good customers.

    • kristina

I have a question about the rr’s. If I bought 2 huggie’s, would it print out 2 different rr’s or just one? Would I get 2 or 4 rr’s? I don’t like to do multiple transactions if possible. I was just wondering if I could buy them in the same transaction and still get 4 rr’s or will it only give me one? If I had to do 2 transactions… buy huggies get rr, then buy huggies and filler use coupon and rr will it give me the 2 rr or not? Thank you.

      • Bamasaver

You can only receive one RR at a time for a specific item, you’ll have to do multiple transactions to get multiple RRs for the same product.  Also, if you get a RR for Huggies & then turn around & use it for another Huggies you will not get the second RR.

    • kristina

Anyone know exactly where the $2 wags coupon for revlon product is?

      • Bamasaver

Jenny has it listed as being in the 7/24 SS insert, but it wasn’t in mine–perhaps that one was regional.

        • msivory20

I ended up with 3 different  SS 7/24 and it was in a 2 page Wags coupon sheet inside but only in one of them.  Definitely confusing!

    • Bianca

A little confused about the coupon policy. I just went to walgreens and purchased 4 of the men’s Dove products on sale for $15 and a m&m candy. I used 4/$1 off men’s dove body wash and a $5 RR. I didn’t receive a $5 RR back for purchasing the Dove products. Shouldn’t I have?

      • Ryan

At my Walgreens it was only one specific scent of the Men’s bodywash . . . they are usually pretty specific which of the products you have to purchase.  Take the receipt back in and talk to the manager .  .  . they should be able to fix it with either exchanging the product or re-ringing the purchase . . .

      • Benjamietaylor

maybe the RR you used was from the same company tht makes the Dove stuff.  that has happened to me

    • Ryan

anyone have any Colgate Sensitive $1.50 coupons they are willing to trade?  I’m just looking for 2 or 3 . . . thanks!

    • Guest

Does anybody have a good DOVE scenario?  Does the free hair treament count in the total (with the coupon)?  Thanks!

      • Natalie559

Yes and Yes to your questions-

We got the B1 shamp/con G1 treatment free and also B1 womens G1 mens free deo in the RP mentioned above.  The ad says 4 for 15 but they are ringing up 4.49,4.49,4.49,1.53 – so using the B1G1 treatment as an example, hand them 2 treatments to scan first then 2 shampoos.  The free treatment coupon will each take off 4.49 making your total before RR 6.02- get back 5 RR and get your 4 items for 1.02 plus tax!

If you have only 1 treatment and 1 deo coupon, hand them the treatment
and mens deo first then the shampoo and womens- the free coupons are for
treatment and mens and they rang up first at 4.49 so each coupon will
take off 4.49.  I found packs of mens deo 2 for 1 making the deal even
        better :)

        • Guest

THANK YOU!  This is a big help!

          • Guest

And it worked perfectly!  Thanks. again.

    • Machelle

I am new to couponing….about how many transactions can I do at Walgreens without making the clerk mad? How many RR can I get per transactions? Is it limited to one RR per transaction?

      • Guest

It really depends on your store and cashier as to how many transactions you can do at once. I try to be respectful of other shoppers and if the store is busy or people are waiting behind me I will do my first transaction, then step of and go to the back of the line for the next one. I may even go to the car and drop off the first purchase and come back in. I have found that checking out at the cosmetics counter is nice, they are never as busy back there and MUCH nicer and patient. As far as the RR, you will get more than one at a time as long as they aren’t for the same item. For example, if you bought 2 Pert shampoos this week on the same transaction, only one RR would print. Also if you buy an item that generates a RR you can’t use that RR to buy another of the same item, or anything made by the same company, or the RR will not print for the second transaction. Hope this helps.

    • Sdking

Question: if the revlon nail enamel gives back $3….how many time will it do that? For instance I always have 2 coupons for everything, so couldI make 2 transactions and get $6 back…$3 with each transaction?

      • Guest

Yes.  Do seperate transactions as you stated above and do not use your RR from the first one purchased.

        • Sdking

          ok thanks!

      • Buffy

I bought 9 in 9 separate transactions and made $16 and 9 free nail polishes after everything was over and done with. Had 9 $1 MQ’s and 9 $2 walgreens coupons so paid $1.23 for each nail polish and got 9 $3 RRs.

        • Did you use the one dollar off in the latest sunday insert? Because I tried that yesterday and it wouldn’t take it. Which nail polish did you get?

    • has anybody tried using RR’s after they expire? I have $9 worth that expired yesterday…. :(

    • Dgonza27

$3 RR WYB (2) Dental Care items at $3 ea including: Crest Whitening Plus Scope Outlast or Complete with Scope Dual Blast Toothpaste 5.8 oz
This deal is even sweeter if you buy the crest outlast with barcode #37000 22879 you will get back 2 rr one for $3 and one for $2

    • Megan

I am new to couponing and my walgreen has the 7oz edge shaving cream on sale for $1.99 and I have a coupon for .55 off is that a good price for shaving cream? Im not to familiar with what good prices are..Thanks..

      • Kat

I think they had a shaving cream the other week for $1 just on sale.  Skintimate or something like that.  If you have enough right now I’d wait.

      • Destiny691966

A good price is Free after RR, or as close to it as you can get. When I was building my stock pile and had a job I never paid more than 50 cents for anything except some food items. Now unless its food I wont buy it unless its free or just pennies. Hope that helps. If you need the item then anytime you dont pay full price is a better deal.

      • qdude

There are/were coupons that will get you that item for .49 cents.

    • Jtdjagos

I have a BOGO coupon for stayfrre and they are on sale BOGO. How much will I pay?

I have a BOGO coupon for stayfrre and they are on sale BOGO. How much will I pay?

I was just about to post that same question..stayfree maxi pads are bogo and i also have a bogo coupon..wondering if they will both be free??

        • Destiny691966

Normally you can use the BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale and get both items totally free plus sales tax.

      • Tried it yesterday and it wouldn’t scan! Also my Revlon coupons wouldn’t scan either!

    • HMidd

does anyone know where to find a list for the month long RR?Its listed on here that the keri lotion is month long but when I went yesterday to my store they said it was only this past sat.

    • Destiny691966

Ok couponers, I wrote to Wags corporate and got my answer this morning about the register rewards and sale items being gone all the time. The manager of my local store wrote me back and said that corporate is trying to work on the problem right now so that people cant just come in and wipe everything out. Also the raincheck policy has changed, They will give you a raincheck for the sale price including the RR for one item. They still cant give you the actual RR but they will honor them for the one product. If you want more of the same product they will honor the sale price only. I plan to make sure I go get my Keri lotion raincheck.

      • RJ

good to know..just went and my Wags was out of expo markers and cotonelle toilet paper…I’m new at this and was so bummed!  I have a quick question….I got a raincheck for both items..can I use RR that I receive for next week’s deals to pay for an item that has a rain check and coupon?

            does ss stand for expired?

am i able to use the store and manufacturing coupon at the same time/

            • Veronica

SS is smart source — coupon booklet in sunday paper. You can use store and manufacturers coupon @ same time. Walgreens can be a little tricky @ times and you may have to get some low cost filler items if you have two many coupons. CVS and Publix much easier for me as they are coupon friendly. Good luck Veronica

            • Prtyred1

When would you need a filler item?

            • qdude

watch the video Jenny has done for CVS.  Although it doesn’t cover Walgreens specifically, it will give you a very good start. Once you watch that video come back and ask any other questions you still have.  To answer your question, Walgreens Policy is you can not have more coupons than items. They count their Register Rewards (RR) as coupons, so if you have 5 items, and a coupon for each of those 5 items you are good to go.  But lets say you have a RR coupon too.  That means you will need to add a 6th item so that you have as many items as you do coupons.  So in order to keep your costs down, Jenny makes recommendations for very low cost items you can use to “fill in” your total number of items.  Hope this helps.

        • Elham Shalash

where do i get those? from the sunday paper?

I was wondering this too. I know you can get coupons & offers e-mailed to you, I don’t know if this is what they’re referring to. I just signed up for those on Wags website. If anybody knows otherwise let us know.

is the Dove shampoo on sale for the whole month of August?
