I saw the Bandaid Brand Toy Story Bandaids on clearance for $2.59. I printed a $1 off coupon a while back (think it might no longer be available??) so only $1.59!!

      • Erindurkee

Actually, I should have checked first. There is still a $1 off coupon on their facebook page!

        • Erindurkee

I also found 2 coupon booklets in Walgreens today. One called “Healthy Fun Activity Book” (with vitamin coupons, stickers, and a growth chart for kids) and “Answers at Walgreens” which has lots of health related coupons! There were near the pharmacy.

    • Smartshopper

today I found the eggs one dozen for 0.50 cent each at my walgreens that was a nice surprise,so I bought 4 dozens Im not sure if its a mistake but she told me that the eggs were at 0.50 cents each. also bought lots of other things including milk which is on sale plastic zipper bags 25 pack  on sale 1.19 each got 4 of them 2 nivea lips 2 cortiad 2 burts bees troat drops the news paper all this items for 20 dollars I GOT BACK 6 in RR but this include a tooth ache medication that cost me 9 dollars but im getting a rebate for that too and of course 2 ultimate flora which was the money maker.  it was a trip for me today and no problems at all

      • Laura

I go to get eggs every time they are in the sale paper…and find them either already expired or only have max 2 days left before they expire. So I always end up taking the ad across the street to walmart for price match to get fresh eggs.
Just saying always beware the exp dates on foods at Wags (though they aren’t nearly as bad as the expired stuff kroger is always still trying to sell).

        • jessiew

I bought some snackwells last week from harris teeter that expired Novemeber  2011!!  If course i didn’t have anymore coupons and the lady refused to exchange them because what i would have had to get would have been a different type.

          • Savenmonies

I’d be calling HT’s corp or something, expired about 4mts ago and they refused to swap them out!? I wouldn’t stand for it.. selling expired food isn’t good..

        • Jlaleonard

Thanks for posting this. Price matching eggs at Walmart is a great idea!

      • Jlaleonard

Check the expire dates on the eggs. My mom bought a few dozen on sale recently and they expired in only a few days!

    • Gil

I am so excited to have been able to get the probiotice capsules this morning!Hubby and I found 8 so far-hope to get 2 more later in the week.
Btw-none at any WGS rung up properly-they all had to be price-adjusted down to the $10. sale price. $10. RR printed every time!
Also got a bunch of the Burt’s Bee’s/Belvita’s, rolling RR’s.
      SWEET!

      • Smartshopper

did you used a 3 off coupon? I did this morning it was a sweet money maker I ONLY BUGHT 2 !!!!

      • Helen

I looked for the probiotic caps at 2 different stores. Manager told me someone can in and purchased all that they had and they will not be restocking. So unfair to those of us who care for terminally ill and have to wait for a relief sitter so we can shop.

    • Diane

I bought six “read and record” Mother Goose books for $1.99 each.  The original price for the book was about $20.00.  Saved $108.  These will be Christmas gifts for young friends and family members.  I hope to record older relatives as the readers, thus making the book a treasured keepsake for the child.

      • Tijen

Diane, where did you find them?

        • Diane

I found them at the Walgreen Store in Gaffney, South Carolina.  The books were among elected toys that had been reduced to 75%.

      • cindharb

Be sure you assist the older person with the techno-stuff required for the recording.  It is a bit tricky and did not work too well when my dad attempted it by himself.  One page’s reading plays on several subsequent pages.

    • Lfworks33

WOW!!! I just bought that Lysol no touch last night at Publix and thought I did good with $11.99 – $5 P Q & $3 M Q for a final price of $3.99. Now it woulod have been even cheaper? ARgghhh!

      • Hairxpert4

i did the same! Lol! but its still 3.99 for the refill so i think we did well anyway!

    • Dpdickins

My deal was snagging 4 bottles of Rite Guard body wash, also known as “green slime” by my husband, for a whopping $.36!!!  They were on clearance for $2.59 each totaling $10.36.  I used 2 2/$3 coupons taking my total to $4.36 and then got $4 RR.  Awesome!

    • Taylorashleyd84

The mother goose books at my store are still $10.00 :( hoping they go down. The store manage did have to manually adjust the probotic price, like someone mentioned, but was very glad to do so and very impressed with all the items I got and how little I paid. I love my walgreens in Montgomery, al :) I paid $10.something and saved $80 and change

    • Lish

I don’t like to do major coupon trips on Sunday, due to it being the Lord’s day.  It’s a sacrifice since most Mondays that I go everything is wiped out of the store.  However, I feel like it’s well worth it and a thing that I can do to honor my King.  Anyone else feel this way?

      • Ludki

GOOD JOB! KEEP IT UP! YOU INSPIRED ME! I USUALLY DO NOT DO COUPON TRIPS ON SUNDAYS,BUT THIS WEEK I REALLY WANTED TO GET BURT’S BEES COUGH DROPS AT WALGRENS AND WENT THERE RIGHT AFTER CHURCH AND GUESS WHAT I DID NOT GET ANY OF THOSE:) ALL ARE GONE,SO NO MORE COUPON TRIPS ON SUNDAY,THAT’S A LORD’S DAY!!!

        • Lish

Thank u, Ludki! I’m glad to hear you say this! I found myself getting sooo wrapped up in the deals that it made it close to impossible to go to church or get ready without being completely stressed out.  I want my focus to be on what it should be.:) I wish u the best with this too, I know God will honor u for it!

          • Ludki

Thank you so much! God bless you and your family!

      • JPBMC

I think it is great that you do this.  Not many people do, myself included (due to physical requirements Sunday is the only day I have someone to accompany me).  I remember the days when stores were not open on Sunday, then it when they would only open after church. I am curious, do you go out to eat on Sunday also?

        • Lish

We try not to.  If we are traveling or something of that sort we will.  I guess I’m old fashioned.:)  I miss days like that honestly! I completely understand about it being the only day you can go out with someone!!  I’m sure God knows your heart and understands where u r!

      • Jtdjagos

Our Sabbath day is Saturday and we do not shop at all or eat out as the Scriptures talk about not working or causing others to work. When we went back to really living the word, I thought we would have a much harder time fmaking ends meet. Ten years later, we have more now then we ever have-actually we learned the beauty of living with what we need not with what we want. Keep moving in that direction and try to change your feeling that it is a sacrifice to miss the sales. Everything you need will come to you. Remeber, there will always be another sale.

      • NC_angel

That’s why I go to CVS on Saturday night.

    • jess

It drives me crazy that so many people clear the shelves on Sunday and leave nothing for those of us that don’t shop on this day. I usually end up getting rain checks and waiting weeks to use them. Shame on the shelf clearers.

      • Blame Walgreen’s for only having a small amount of sale items they advertise.

      • Jaxtanners

I don’t shop at Walgreen’s anymore.  I’m a Sunday shopper at CVS (but I don’t clear the shelves).  I would get to Walgreens when it opened and they wouldn’t have the things they advertised.  It was a waste of time.  So maybe it’s not the shoppers.

      • sjgsjg

I agree with the others… even at CVS… I go on Saturday to check quantites for the upcoming ad and often they only have two of whatever is going on sale!  I wish the stores had more foresight!

        • Brooke

Most CVS will start the sale at 4pm on Saturday. I always do my shopping on Saturday because people clear the shelf at m CVS to. Now I never have a problem getting the few things I need.

      • 302799

Jess … find out which day the truck delivers.  That’s when they “restock” … they usually have limited amounts on Sunday.

      • BrotherBear

I am curious as to how you negotiate your view of how Sunday is to be spent with the fact that your pastor and all the church staff that teaches is working on Sunday. The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. How a person observes the Sabbath is a personal decision and needs to be respected by his brothers and sisters.  We need to learn to agree to disagree and not use such definitive expressions like “as it should be”.  Christ himself harvested on the Sabbath.  How does that fit into your view of how the Sabbath is to be observed.
Why shame on all the shelf clearers?  They are being good stewards of the money that the LORD has entrusted to them.  I recommend you encourage them to be considerate of those that come behind.  Are you even sure that one person cleared the shelf?  Maybe many people came and only got two or four the item you are referencing.  By no means is that hording or selfish.
As Christians we need to be careful about what we post here.  Christians are not the only patrons of this site.  Thus whenever we post anything that condemns a certain behavior; we are painting a negative and false picture of who Christ is.  As a result, we give a non-believer another reason to stay not give the faith a chance.
I encourage you all to examine the “why” to your observance of Sunday and to study what the Sabbath was truly about.  I am not saying I know it all about the Sabbath, but I am saying that I have studied it more than the average person and am thankful for my relationship with the LORD as a result of the way I have been convicted to observe it.

    • RD1163

Awesome buy at our Panama City Walgreens. They had Nestle’s semi-sweet choco – chips for .88 !!!! Their expiration date was April, 2013 !!! I was told by an associate they were no longer going to carry this brand. Huge basket of them in their clearance section !!! Would be great to stock and freeze. :)

      • Mrsbaptistefca

Which Walgreens; I live in Panama City

        • RD1163

The one across from Bay Medical Center :)

        • RD1163

BTW……They are not with the regular food. Look at the end of the first isle near the restrooms – it’s where they keep all their clearance items.. Good luck .

    • Mslonas

I too have been convicted of this on MANY Sundays…..I also choose NOT to shop on Sundays, because I want to spend it worshiping the Lord Jesus and having fellowship w/my family….As it was mentioned below, whatever I need/want, my LORD will provide it for me anyway, at just the perfect time, not a grocery store ;)….But……..I still thank Jenny for all she does!! :-)

      • 302799

I would hope that you also choose to worship your “God” the rest of the week as well.

        Carry on!

        • Mslonas

Of course I do! HE AND ONLY HE is worth worshipping everyday….just sayin

    • Manyfishes

Thank you for all of your work, Jennie! I have been waiting for a good sale on the Lysol No-Touch system. I was able to find them on the shelf. So I consider $3.19 a good price.

    • Goodkristen

free hugies natural care 72 ct wipes this week also-on sale for $2.49 use the .50 off coupon then a $2 catalina prints out…i love it!!!!

    • cindharb

Walgreen’s is cracking down severely on coupons…at least the Walgreen’s I usually go to.  This is a first in my 11 years of couponing:  they rejected every coupon I provided.  All were coupons from the suggested deals in this list and the regular weekly list.  I like the cashier that did this [and who is usually not like this] and did not want to argue with her; I just walked off making no purchas  Perhaps I’ll try a different Wwalgreen’s, or just give them a break for a a few months.  Sometimes  they get more intense with the rules than other times.  …

      • Anne

My Walgreens got a new computer/register system in and it’s been very unfriendly to the coupons.  I’ve been blessed with cashiers that put mine through so far.

    • Anne

I was so excited over clearance deals I found at Walgreens this week!  I bought 4 boxes of Dermasilk skincare products $5/ea & used the $5 Qs we got recently; I bought 3 Burt’s Bees cocoa shimmer lip balms $2/ea & used 3 – $1.50/1 Qs the cashier gave me; 1 Sally Hansen in shower hair removal creme $2 & used $2 printable Q; 1 Neutrogena suncreen $2 & used $1.50 skincare Q; & 1 Hawaiian Tropic sunblock $3 & used $1 printable Q.  I left  – feeling like I had robbed the store! :-D

    • Emily Rose

The Walgreen in Rainbow City, Al has box boxes of pampers clearanced down from 24.99 to 12.49.  I do not personally need diapers (baby producing department closed!) so it does me no good.  But for those of you with little ones, I would check it out!  I think it was 84 diapers in the smallest size and 58 in a size 5.  There were varying sizes.  With a coupon you could really get a great deal!

      • Emily Rose

That should read big boxes, not box boxes.  It’s still a bit early, I’m only half way through my caffeine injections this morning.

    • Beth

i go to 3 different WG’s, and at one, the lysol touch free was not marked clearance on the shelf. Sometimes this is the case, so i brought it up to the register and sure enough it was 6.19! Later, i went to the WG next to my job and brought another one to the register and it rang up full price. I just wonder why some stores don’t put the same items on clearance? Or why consistently there are items not marked correctly on the shelf. Strange to me unless they are trying to deter people from clearing shelves? hmmm?

      • Emily Rose

I also noticed this.  Yesterday I had to burn a day in Anniston, AL while my husband was in business meetings (his car is on the frtiz).  So I hit up all the CVS and Walgreens stores.  I found that different stores have different prices and it appears to be no rhyme or reason as to why.  The cashier told me it is to the manager’s preference, I find this somewhat strange!  I wanted to buy some clearance tea that I paid .87 in Gadsden and she insisted I had to pay 1.50.  I think it is ridiculous!

    • 302799

You really have to watch Walgreens.  Yesterday I went in to use up some Q’s; the Finish was “not on sale”, however the paper said that it was on sale.
The clerk admitted that they pull the “sale tags”, so that the shelves are not cleared.  They have to call the manager to write up rain checks.

      • Something seems wrong with that. First when i saw this item not marked for sale, i ended up not buying it because i figured i was wrong and must have read the flyer wrong. As i’ve been doing this for a while now, i just figured sometimes they “miss” marking items for sale on the shelf. Now i know there is a reason for them doing this. If it was Publix, you would get the item free. Isn’t there some “department of weighs and measures” that randomly checks stores for correct prices? Or is that only grocery stores. I know thats why Publix will give you the item-it’s like they are thanking you for letting them know so they can change the price. Otherwise they can get fined something like $5000 for having incorrect prices.

      • Guest

The Walgreen near me must do that also.  I always have to take items for a price check because they are not marked.

        • Guest

          Sorry– Walgreens

    • Ririwoody

hello everybody, i am new to couponing and i need help. Is it true that you can get no rain check on item with ecb (i live in florida). I had two great deals i wanted to get today (never had time to go before) and i was told i am out of luck. Where can i find the policy for walgreens. Thanks to everybody

    • My7bracelets

Bought 2 Right Guard body washes on clearance at $2.59 each.  Used a $3 Q (coupons.com or smart source maybe – see post from last week!), got back $1 RR…made these only 50 cents each! Thanks Jenny for the heads up about printing the Q last week!

    • Charitycase

i went to my local walgreens in weatherford oklahoma on thursday.  on the end cap they had rogaine for women orange tagged for 3.99.  I used my 10.00 any rogaine coupon.  money, money, money
