I am new, so how do I get the coupon for $1 off?

      • EDinNC

It’s in the Sunday coupon inserts of Feb 9th (RP 2/09). That’s the RedPlum insert, not the (SS) Smart Source. The date on these inserts can be found in very tiny print along the spline of the cover, where it folds from front to back cover of the insert.
And this is IF your city’s insert happened to have that certain coupon that day. Big IF.

I tried to get this deal today at my local Walgreens (Memphis, TN) and it would not go through. The cashier told me that I could not redeem this coupon because the value of the coupon ($1 off Rimmell product) is higher than the sale price ($.84). I was disappointed as this was my first attempt to coupon and I didn’t work out. A lady in the store aiming for the same deal said she tried another store earlier and the same thing was said to her. As a newbie, what can I do on my part to ensure things like this won’t happen? I had the Walgreens Coupon Policy also; It had nothing regarding that scenario on there.

The cashier should honor your coupon.from walgreens coupon policy ”

The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the
item after other discounts or coupons are applied.”,If the cashier insist that she can’t do it then ask the cashier to call for a manager…
