Does anyone know if the PG inserts are available by mail? My local paper, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, doesn’t carry it. The St. Pete Times does, but there aren’t that many places in Sarasota that carry it. I find I miss out on a lot of good coupons.

    • Heather

      Jenny –

Just out of curiosity, how many sunday papers do you buy?

      • Jenny

This weekend… I might try to get 4. Mostly for the cereal and for a deal at Rite Aid I just typed up (it will post tomorrow)

    • lynn

was wondering if lauren was able to get the st pete times i live in npr florida and our local paper the tampa tribune does not carry most coupons either but st pete times has all the good ones in it

    • lynn

oops i reread question so sorry the st pete is the only paper around here that i know of to get most of the good ones

    • margie

I have found the hispanic FREE newspapers at CVS by the door with all the other free papers, and they always have the smart source coupons in them. I only take one or two, but they are free coupons without buying a sunday paper. woo hoo!

    • Marie

I only received 1 Red Plum in my paper today. Did anyone else get 2?

    • Laura

I only received 1 Red Plum too but did get a Unilever.

    • Marie

I only got one Red Plum but there was another insert in there for unilever which made 5 total

    • Marie

Thanks. I saw the Unilever one, too. The Red Plum has $100 off Kellogg’s cereal, so I was looking forward to doubles :)

    • Mary

Hey, how do I find out what atlanta paper has the inserts? I’ve gotten the atlanta journal constitution before and couldnt find anything. Where in the paper is it usually tucked?

    • susie

Just wondering, I get the Gainesville Sun over in the big city of Trenton, Fl. I bought 3 extra’s on my way in from out of town today. I only had RP, P&G and Unilver, and when I got home my home dilvery one didn’t even have the RP in it. Did anyone else get the Smart Source in the Gaineville Sun?
      Thanks

    • Courtney

I only got 3 sets of coupons is the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, However, I do check the lists that women on the internet so graciously post for all of that weeks available coupons, compare them with my weekly ads (FOUR different grocery stores) and if there is a super good deal, I buy the coupons on e-bay! (this week I will be getting over 40 rolls of paper towels and I paid $5 for the coupons!

    • Christa

      Mary,

just buy the Double AJC paper on SUNDAY for $ 2.50. It is tucked inside with sales flyers. Since this is 2 papers, you will need to pull out coupon inserts from each paper. You can find these at gas stations, Kroger, Walmart. They are wrapped in a blue cardboard that says DOUBLE.

    • Vered

Do you know a link to a website that provide a list (gathering all the products and items information) for each coupon magazine which I can print and staple on the cover (of each coupon magazine) to save time organizing?

    • Sylvie

      Mary,

Someone else said in one of their comments (thank you whoever you are) that the Thursday Neighbor papers that come to Atlanta area homes (some say “Buyers Edge” free on Thursdays have coupon inserts. Sure enough… they do! They even had 2 this last week!! They’re not necessarily the ones that were in the Sunday paper, but were this past week. (could kick myself for throwing them in the recycle all this time without ever looking at them!)

    • Juli

I receive the Gainesville Sun and no I did not get the Smartsource neither did two other friends. I only got one Red Plum, one P&G, one Uniliever.

    • Juli

I just called the GNV Sun to ask, “Why did our area receive this insert.” They said the circulation dept. can’t answer that but a supervisor from the carrier dept. would call me back within 24-48 hours. I’ll post if I hear something.

    • susie

I did call the Gville Sun Supervisor this week. He said the Gville Sun has no control over what gets put in the papers. In other words yes the “home paper” vs the “vending box” vs the “inside store paper” can vary from week to week. They are put together by a disxtribution center. They always run out of inserts and he has no way to know what is in what. So from now on when I buy extras(I always do) it will be from inside the store so I can check them for inserts 1st. I would hope that home papers are being filled 1st and they just missed mine. Happy couponing!

    • Jenny,

I am new to this and am hooked allready. I am noticing that each week sale items require coupons from old PG or RedPlum inserts. When I buy the paper am I supposed to be saving the inserts for use in later sale items in the year? Or does each paper have coupons for sales in that week only and I can throw them away when I am done.

      • Jenny

        Jackie,
You want to hold tight to all the coupons until they expire. Rarely will you actually use that weeks insert coupons on sales the same week.

    • Karen

Does anyone know of a website with the list of coupons that Greenville, SC receives? I’ve started one but I don’t want to waste my time doing it if there’s already one out there. Here’s what I’ve got so far:
      March: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=d3kqvj9_7fmdxhpd8
      April: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=d3kqvj9_6fjgvc8hg

It’s not completely updated – if the coupon is UNDERLINED, it was in the Greenville, SC newspaper. I delete them off the list as they expire.

    • Juli

Thanks Susie for checking with GNV Sun. No one ever called me back! :-(

I will go and check on Sunday papers in the stands now too. Bummed we didn’t get our SS for that week. :-(

But we will move on! :-)

    • Cheryl

I cannot find a coupon for Kellogg’s pop tarts. Need some help

    • Laura

I get the Gainesville Sun delivered and bought one this past Sunday (4/26) and I didn’t receive the Smartsource inserts in either paper again! I don’t understand how all the other markets are getting smartsource inserts but this is the second time this month where ours are missing?
